Best ever. Let me just add to what my husband put as a review. PODS Moving and Storage is the best ever. I have never dealt with any company that actually arrives on times like they did to drop the POD off, pick it up, on time to drop it off again and pick up the empty POD. I can’t begin to tell you the number of people I have recommended them to. I would never hesitate to use them again. If you’re moving yourself, they should be your mover for sure!!!
DO NOT USE PODS. Find ANY other way to move your belongings. Other than the initial delivery of the empty POD, and charging my credit card, they screwed up every aspect of moving our belongings across the country. We had terrible customer service trying to resolve the shipment issues, and even worse customer service when trying to resolve the pick up of the empty container. They have assigned us a Customer Resolution Specialist who has done nothing to resolve our issues other than quote company policy, and respond to our inquiries with cut and paste text from previous emails to other dissatisfied customers. We have told, and will continue to tell, any one who asks about PODS -- DO NOT USE THEM. You have been warned...
Drop off went smooth, and that was it. The driver didn’t have the pod lifted high enough and rammed it with the truck throwing my belongings everywhere. Then I called to have it picked up and they were 2 weeks out. They assured me I wouldn’t be charged for the addition month (they don’t pro-rate) and I was. Called in again assured me I would get a credit, haven’t seen that yet, and now charged for the pick up already. It was convenient, but not worth the aggravation.
A Pod is great when you have to move with only two people. I got the Pod two weeks before I moved then kept it at my new house for two weeks to unload it at my own pace. The person setting up my service also checked the local laws about containers on your property and found out two weeks was the max time I was allowed to have the Pod. They are always great on the telephone as well.
What a disaster! I called and scheduled the redelivery for our move in date of our new home. I called the night before delivery to confirm, only to find out PODS didn’t have the redelivery in their schedule. I provided PODS with the reference # that was given to me on the phone and they agreed the POD was supposed to be delivered on the date requested. PODS stated that they could NOT deliver on the date requested. I have a moving crew at my new home and nothing to move in. PODS is having me call them every couple hours while they try to contact the site manager to see if the POD can be delivered. I tried explaining to them that this is costing me money and time and I can’t wait in suspense all day to see if they are going to deliver. They said they would call me once they get in touch with the site manager. WHAT A MESS! PODS has given me access to the POD, but that’s an extra truck and double handling for the crew I have paid. Get this: it was suppose to be delivered on the 2nd, they are telling me it can’t be delivered till the 12th. My bed is in there. Plus all the hours I have spent on the phone on hold trying to get this sorted out. Beware, plenty of places are have portable storage containers, I suggest to others to shop around because this company doesn’t fulfill their end of the commitment.
We had 30 years of “stuff” jammed into our garage. It was time to clean it out! The best way to do that was to sort. The POD held what we were keeping. Great product and impressive customer service. Everyone from my first call, forward, was very helpful. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this company. It was a joy to finally see a clean, freshly painted garage, too!

2022-06-06We were happy with our PODS unit and services. We sold a house and moved in with a parent until we figured out what we were doing. We ended up building and having our belongings in a PODS gave us peace of mind. The communication with PODS was excellent! They were easy to get a hold of and answered questions quickly. Delivery, pick up, re-delivery, and re-pick up were all on time. The drivers are excellent and caring individuals that explained everything very good.

2022-04-18I was very excited to use PODS for my move. The pickup was great and it went very smoothly. I used a shuttle company to retrieve the items from my POD and deliver it to my new apartment. There were a few hiccups along the way. But the biggest kudos goes to the customer care team. Within hours of contact, my previous issues were resolved and they absolutely retained my good graces. I’m truly impressed with your customer care team and I will definitely use you on my next move. Thank you so much for being understanding and caring. ❤️

2022-06-30This company had no problems calling and communicating to get my business and had no problems getting all of the money required for the move. They became silent when it came time to deliver my PODS on time. Never communicated that they felt a form was not completed and so did not transport my PODS on time. Their solution to the problem was to blame me--the client who paid all invoices on time, the client who followed up with calls to make sure delivery dates were confirmed, the client who followed their agents instructions. We sat waiting for the delivery time email, then the day of the confirmed delivery date had to call to find out what was going on--only to be told our PODS were still in the originating state and had never left--because they did not see a record of an agreement being accepted. BUT THEY ACCEPTED all of the required payments in full without any problem. HORRIBLE.

2022-04-20Extremely disappointing experience. Upon trying to schedule my POD pickup, my account crashed and remained unavailable for weeks; I am still unable to access to even obtain records of my move. This made it impossible to schedule pickups, and took an incredibly long time to schedule a pickup manually via phone. Once scheduled, the pickup never even happened, which I found out only several hours of phone calls later, was because my account was still down. I asked for it to be escalated multiple times, both via phone and via email, but never heard back. It took hours of phone calls and dozens of emails to finally get someone to come get the POD out of my driveway. Im usually not one to leave negative reviews, but knowing that long distance moves can be incredibly stressful I felt obliged to warn others this is just not worth the extra stress.

2022-06-04This was my first time using PODS Moving & Storage and I would recommend using this company. It can be affordable for your needs; and the time(s) are flexible if something unexpected happens. Communication is great for ETA (Estimated Time Arrival).

2022-05-28Long story short: dishonest, unreliable, stress inducing. Has made everything about this move harder just from their lack of communication.Customer service rep did her best but she was set up to fail by her company. Under no circumstance should you use pods. Use u pack instead. Had zero issues with them.

2022-08-08Terrible service still waiting for a call back...I was told that the storage would be waived and nobody calls cack as promised. I asked to make sure that the delivery drivers use the plates because i have sprinklers and not once. Not twice but 3 TIMES ALL 3 PODS DELIVERED AND PICKED up crushed the sprinklers and lawn torn up. the list goes on

2022-02-16Thought using the PODS service would be convenient and cost efficient, but my expirence has turned into a ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I loaded a Pod with my lifes work, every family picture and a lifetime of memories/belongings and can not get my pod redelivered. Im getting the run arounds, while they collect payments and I incur financial hardship and mental anguish.I was assigned a Pods Customer Advocacy Specialist to help facilitate my issue, but they have made no contact other than to inform me they were assigned to my case. They have not responded to email, phone calls or the fax I sent....yup I sent a freaking fax and nothing!

2022-03-24Val was great! Pretty tight space on the way into the driveway and she got it done in seconds. Very professional, answered all my questions and provided useful tips. Wayyyyyy easier than trying to line up a moving company with a truck.

2021-09-01PODS cancelled my order for a trailer this morning after their driver claimed he had the wrong number and no one answered the door, despite us being home.Now they want to tell me since the order was “cancelled” the next available day is a full week after I’m supposed to leave.Thanks for creating a huge headache for me during an already stressful time. I would have scheduled a different company weeks ago if I knew this was going to happen. Too close to my move date to make that happen now.
