I heard a lot of good things about this new place. My husband got take out for us this past week. I was disappointed. It was just ok, nothing great. I had shrimp lo mein and he had drunken noodles. They were just ok, with neither having much flavor. A bit disappointing for us both!

We just got takeout from here. We got an eel roll which tasted delicious but was not wrapped well- the whole thing was falling apart. We also had pad thai and a salmon poke bowl- all the food was really tasty. Its a little pricey for us to be a regular takeout place. It did look really nice inside so I understand its probably aiming more for dine in guests. Still would love some takeout specials because the sushi was fairly pricey which discouraged me from ordering very much.
Im impressed. Its delicious food presented wonderfully. Weve dined in and ordered take out. Well return for sure. Take out is packed beautifully in lovely containers and the chef actually garnished my dish with cut fresh herbs! Its little things like that that make you realize the restaurant cares enough to earn your business. Please try it -- Avon Lake needs quality restaurants desperately and our support can make a difference.
Delicious! Had a variety of rolls; they were sooooooo good. Steamed dumplings to start and Singapore noodles with our rolls. Everything was perfect, we couldnt pick a favorite!

Was so excited to find this place in the former Mark Pis! Service was excellent and very friendly. The menu was expansive and portions were generous. The appetizer calamari with jalapeno plum sauce was delicious! We also tried the Khing curry and Drunken Noodles and loved both entrees! This will be our new go to for asian fare.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the food. I really wanted to like it. The woman on the phone was super nice. My husband waited in the restaurant for our to go order for 5 to 10 minutes before it was ready. We live 5 minutes from the restaurant. Everything was cold or luke warm. We ordered spicy wonton, Jalapeño calamari, fat choy sushi roll, and hunan beef extra extra spicy with fried rice. The warmest thing was the sushi roll and fried rice. The hunan tasted like boiled vegetables and watered down hunan sauce. When someone orders something extra extra spicy they dont expect beef broth as a sauce. The quality of the beef was good though. The spicy wonton was decent but cold. It is a very delicate wonton which was great. The sushi roll was loosely rolled. The crawfish was plentiful though. The calamari was great. Overall, the best fried rice in avon lake, but not enough for $47.
Carry out order--Beef Egg Roll, Hot & Sour Soup, Szechuan Chicken , extra spicy. The food was piping hot, the chicken pieces were tender and the soup had a generous amount of tofu, eggs, etc. The Szechuan Chicken was bland, bland, bland with hardly a trace of spicy heat even though I ordered extra spicy. The Beef Egg Roll was okay--I just wanted to try something different. I wouldnt order it again though as there was nothing special about it to warrant the price, IMHO. I might give them another chance in a month and order different items but for now, Im sticking to my favorite Asian carry out thats around the corner.
Thai coconut soup is really amazing. That calamari was hot and crisp and the sushi bento box was prepared with care and detail. Recommend for sure.
Our family of 6 ordered carry-out tonight for the first time and everything was delicious! We ordered orange chicken (my dad only eats sweet & sour, this was a tastier alternative), singapore noodles (tons of noodles & meat), egg rolls (tasted fresh made), pot stickers (lots of delicious filking), chicken katsu (my daughter LOVED everything about this), hunan chicken (lots of veggies that werent cooked too death), hot & sour soup and eel avocado rolls (its great to have good sushi in AL).

Excellent dishes and sushi. The Pad Thai was very tasty, I ordered it spicy. The caramel pudding is like flan but sweeter. The fried pork buns are amazing.
Hands down, the best Asian fare in the area. All homemade and delicious.I eat here at least once a week and have tried something new each time.
The former Mark Pi restaurant is delicious food in a clean friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable prices as well. This is the Chicken Bento Box.

2022-07-31Right off the bat, we were very impressed. Staff was very friendly to greet and seat us and we had an excellent calamari and chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. Plum sake was a real treat and the sushi rolls were some of the best sushi that we have had in a long time. Excellent creativity and a beautiful presentation. Mango sticky rice to finish things off was the perfect touch. We would highly recommend this spot to others as this was much needed in the Avon Lake market. Congratulations on the opening and we look forward to returning soon!!

2022-09-12Such a great sit down Asian restaurant that isnt a chain is a great addition to the local dining scene.The Mongolian beef was very tasty. My vegetable tempura maki sushi was great.My wife liked her steamed dumplings, but did think they were heavy on the spinach.All the sushi the table had came out looking incredible and tasting fantastic. 🍣The service was very attentive and friendly. The prices reasonable and the menu broad to meet most tastes.Major dessert options. 🍰🍨🍮Good beer selection. 🍺

2022-09-12We were really happy with the quality and taste of our food. It was a little bit more pricey than most of the other local Chinese restaurants but I will gladly pay more if the quality is higher. Im looking forward to trying their sushi next.

2022-08-24Carry out is INCREDIBLE. Rolls are super creative, fish is quality, apps like eggrolls and the sauces are great. Highlyrecommend the Tropical Roll, Fat Choy Roll, and Trouble Monkey Roll.Only downside is now I have an awesome sushi place too close to home. Will be back soon!!

2022-08-21Honestly a really great restaurant!! Owner and staff were all super sweet, fast and efficient service, and had some of the best Philadelphia Roll I’ve had the pleasure of having. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal and service!!! :)

2022-08-14First time I have ever been here, me and my girlfriend did takeout. WOW! Amazing service, and the food is excellent. The food is so fresh & tastes absolutely amazing. 6/5 stars!!!! We will be back, again and again and again… our new favorite place!! Inside area looked really neat & professional as well.

2022-08-06Best Asian food I’ve had, just amazing. Defiantly homemade. The sushi was awesome and I recommend the cheese with crab (crab Rangoon) as a starter. Great service, good prices, will 100% come again.

2022-08-12A wonderful place! I sat at the sushi bar and spoke with the owner, who gave me great suggestions of what to try and told me about herself. I had a spicy tuna roll and a nigiri which I had never tried before, both were fantastic and plated beautifully. I can’t wait to come back to try more of their menu!

2022-07-09Amazing food and great service. You can tell the dishes are prepared with passion. Very nice presentation. They have many comfortable favorites as well as new things you won’t find anywhere else (jalapeño ice cream!?) Sushi, ramen, hibachi and anything else you could want. Definitely a new favorite!
