I highly recommend Dr. Fox for any cosmetic procedures. He was very thorough and never rushed through my appointments. His staff is very helpful and professional. The surgery center is top notch! I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with my results.
I have been in the medical field for over 32 years & know everyone in Dayton. I have worked along side many surgeons over the years. I pick the best doctors for myself and my family. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Dr Fox is a perfectionist, he is simply he best! The office is beautiful, staff is always polite & very helpful.
Dr Fox and his staff was amazing. They made sure I had knowledge of what I was asking to have done and addressed all of my questions and concerns. Dr Fox took as much time as I needed to help me make the best decision for my augmentation. His staff was also very nice and made sure that I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Dr Fox
So I absolutely hate burning bridges, but I had to do so with this practice, who was unwilling to consider my personal circumstances with their overly-broad policies, on top of the person I spoke with being disrespectful. I have a condition where I have many painful tumors that need excised. The surgeon was worried that he wouldn’t get paid for any tumor excisions over a certain number in the same surgery. After I asked to discuss my personal insurance policy and circumstances with them, a high-ranking person in their practice called me back and said that “95 percent of health policies cap out at this number of excisions,” as justification for their inflexibility. When I mentioned that my policy has no such cap, and named their area competitors who recognize this fact and continue to seek my repeat business, she said “well it seems like you’re just not a good fit for us. Our policy is set for OUR convenience and we can’t cater to your every need. We aren’t going to make an exception to our policy for YOU just because you feel like you’re special.”I said so you’re fine with me sharing my experience with the internet. And she was like “well that sounds to me like a threat. What are you going to tell them?” I said it is a consumer right to share experiences or mention you are going to do so, not a threat, that I’ll share exactly what you told me. That your organization was inflexible and willingly turns down at least 5 percent of its customers due to them “not being a good fit,” and also her personal discourteous–at–best commentary that I shouldn’t “feel like I’m special” by asking them to consider my personal circumstances (which would still ensure getting paid in full and likely otherwise repeat business!) for the purpose of pain management.So above is the review. If you have a painful condition you’re trying to manage, I highly recommend not dealing with these people. Deal with UC Health or Plastic Surgery Group instead! Their true colors showed today, sadly. The sad part for them is, they would’ve gotten repeat (paid in full!) business for me for years, had they not been so stringent and discourteous.
I had a difficult procedure due to original surgery. Dr Hendrick has done his best to get me back to normal as I can be. I feel very safe and know he has done his bestIf by unfortunate circumstance you do get breast cancer, I would definitely recommend you to Dr. Hendrick. The whole office is very well staffed. They are helpful as wellI just cant explain enough how they have made feel good about myself !!
Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The receptionist was knowledgeable and professional. Maintaining Covid-19 standard policies. Dr. Fox is very experienced and spent a lot of time explaining the Breast Augmentation procedure in depth. I had gone into the consultation wanting a much bigger size than he recommends. He took the time to explain why it was not a good idea. I felt very confident that he had the experience and expertise I am comfortable with. I immediately scheduled my surgery!! I’m so very excited.
Kristen and the front office are great. I love Dr Hedrick, He is friendly and puts you at ease, while still being very professional. Im having breast reconstruction. He answered every question I had, instilling confidence for a great outcome. I’ll be back, when I’m finished to let you know how it turns out!

Friendly, professional staff. I was very impressed with dr. Schmidt’s experience and before and after photographs of mastectomy reconstructions. He also uses different techniques that I was unaware of and educated me on different options. Also the wait time was so minimal and I didn’t feel rushed at all.
The staff were really warm the doctor was also during my first visit. My second time there he was completely rude and made me a bit uncomfortable. I literally decided to leave before we continued with any part of the procedure. I wish the experience had been different I had heard some really nice things about the practice prior to scheduling. Dr. Schmidt was my doctor.
So kind and accepting. the staff were very nice and easy to talk to, they even play some amazing music :)
He made it very understanding about what it was I’m facing. He answered every question that was asked and kept it real with us. He did not make us feel uncomfortable or neglected the real reason that brought us to him: I highly recommend Dr. Hedricks because of his knowledge, hospitality, and care he provides from the very first visit.
My entire experience so far has been amazing. Dr. Fox helped ease a lot of nerves during the consultation. Id highly recommend him!
This facility was recommended to me by my breast cancer surgeon. Dr Hedrick is an amazing doctor! He funny and kind!! Everyone I had contact with in the office is amazing as well. This whole experience was made easier by the fact that this facility was amazing! My reconstruction went smoothly because of Dr Hedrick, he is smart a witty. I am extremely happy with the end resault! It was such an emotional journey so Im glad to have minimal scarring from it and better breast than when I started. Dr Fox and his staff are truly amazing. Had 2 surgeries after being kicked in the face by a horse. Dr Fox did an outstanding job putting my face back together and reconstructing my nose that had been torn apart. Caring, competent amd compassionate. Highly recommend.

My family doctor introduced me to here to take care a skin problem. And i end up in the surgery room. The doctor almost give me steriod shot wothout asking me any questions. After i explained my medical problem, he stopped the sterio shot and ended up cutting the whole thing, and left a scar thats ugly and still painful even after 2 years!Going here is one of the thing i regret the most in my life! Avoid at any cost!!!
Absolutely love this place. Amazing and friendly staff, and Dr. Fox is hilarious and fun to talk too and is the best I’ve seen at what he does. It’s always a good experience, each and every visit.
Very caring ,staff took a lot of time with me getting checked in.Doctor quick with getting right to the point,I was somewhat stunned so didnt think if questions till I was home but was told if I had questions please contact them.He got me scheduled for surgery immediately, so glad I was worried Id have to wait and it was growing very fast

2022-05-12Had breast augmentation with Dr Schmidt. absolutely love my results. the process was quick and easy and they were there for all my questions and concerns before and after surgery. if youve been considering having the procedure I recommend pulling the trigger. 2022-04-01Dr Schmidt is amazing! I got my breast augmentation in October and I am amazed at the results! Any issues I had they called back and made sure I was seen ASAP. I even had to call when they were closed (thanksgiving) and he answered right away. Definitely going back for any future procedures and recommend them to anyone!

2021-08-09I saw Dr. Schmidt for a bilateral breast augmentation this June. I went from a AA cup to a C cup using 380cc high profile silicone implants. I never write reviews but I came here to say if you are considering breast surgery, go to Dr. Steven Schmidt! After having consultations with multiple surgeons in the area, I went with him and I am so glad I did! I felt as if he took my thoughts and concerns into consideration while also providing his professional input. My husband and I agree that Dr. Schmidt is detail oriented and attentive. We feel as if he cares about patient satisfaction and creating aesthetically pleasing results. PSID has an in-house surgery center which I have found convenient when attending appointments and surgery.

2022-06-06I went to Dr. Schmidt for a Breast Augmentation. I went from a B to a D using 380cc silicone extra high profile implants and could not be happier with the results. Dr. Schmidt and his team made me feel very comfortable and did not make me feel insecure or pressured in any way. Dr. Schmidt and his team answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They even called the day after surgury to make sure everything was going okay and if I needed anything. I especially found the follow up appointments helpful because as you heal there are a lot of questions and he reassured me that everything was on track. Would highly reccomend the team at PSID!

2022-06-28After losing 2 cup sizes from workouts and nursing, I visited PSI of Dayton and decided that an augmentation was right for me. Dr Schmidt was always on time, quick, kind, and answered any questions I had. I would do the surgery all over again.

2020-12-23Dr. Hedrick performed my breast reconstruction after my bilateral mastectomy. There is no one else I would even consider going to after my first consultation with him. He spent a lot of time explaining the process and answering my (many) questions. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have been to and was very reassuring at every step. I have full confidence in him and his staff. I couldnt be happier with my results. I highly recommend him. Forever thankful!

2021-07-25I worked with Dr. Fox and he done amazing work with my breast augmentation! He is straight forward and funny. My cousin referred me to his office and I am so glad she did! 2020-11-21Diagnosed with breast cancer in March ‘19, I had a double mastectomy and Dr. Fox did all of my reconstruction. He performed a total of four surgeries and I saw him weekly, for many weeks, to have my expanders filled. One of my surgeries was there at their surgery center. Not only was Dr. Fox great, the nurses were all wonderful. They knew I was frightened and were very kind and gentle. The office staff was always friendly and helpful. I always felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Fox was the absolute best doctor for me and I am so thankful and grateful for having him as my plastic surgeon. I finished my reconstruction in October and I am so happy with my experience and my results. I highly recommend the Plastic Surgery Institute of Dayton and Dr. Fox.
