This is the worst Planet Fitness Ive ever been to. Ive never been treated so disrespectfully. Ive been a member of Planet fitness for years and my experience here today is enough for me to cancel and find another gym. They clearly dont care about their members.
The Planet Fitness motto is hilarious - Judgment Free Zone, except for big gym dudes who wear cutoffs and drink from gallon jugs, we judge those guys. Lmao.Solid gym. Lots of college students.
Gets the job done expect….. they need a pull up bar. The one they have is blocked by pull-up “assistance gear “ and Will not let you do a pull up. They could and should add a pull-up bar…..
Employees clearly don’t care about the virus. Not masking properly. Guests also are not following the masking guidelines. Surprising considering my fellow neighbors in this neighborhood love safety and taking the virus as serious as you can take it. We also live in fear of the virus. But planet fitness clearly doesn’t respect our values.
Good gym. Enjoyed my time when I worked out there. Dumbbells eventually got too light, as their heaviest dumbbells are 70lbs.Very good gym for people who are new or only 1-2 years into weightlifting. For people moving 100lb+ dumbbells, you may want to try a different gym.
I was only at this location to stop my membership. The parking lot at this location at the time I was there (4:15 pm) was horrible.
For a gym where you walk in with headphones on and shouldnt have to talk to anyone, Ive had too many bad experiences with customer service here. Facility is not well maintained, always out of paper towels and the bathrooms are dirty. Front desk staff is blatantly rude and discriminatory. Will not continue to fund this location with a membership

I came to this location and I couldn’t believe how I was treated I am a visitor from Georgia and apparently there was a discrepancy with my bill where it showed I owe money. So I called my Georgia location and they asked me to put the representative at the front desk on the phone so they could explain to them that their was an error In the system and to go a head and let me into workout. Even after talking to the Georgia location representative. They still refused to let me go in. They did not offer a temporary pass or try and offer any good customer service options to resolve. They did not even say anything like let me talk to my manager and see what we can do. Luckily I was able to go to the Planet Fitness near bethel rd and they received me with no problem. This location needs to change their staff if they want to start receiving better reviews. Stay away from this location use other location or even consider La Fitness because I never had any issues with La Fitness like this one when I travel for work. I totally felt violated by the treatment I received from this person at the front desk I will be calling management to discuss this matter.
Showed up at the gym this morning. No employees were there and the doors were locked.
You get what you pay for. People come in to workout and spend a good amount of time sitting on the equipment looking at their phones. Or theyll do an exercise where they stand but will take up a bench using it to set their phone and water bottles on. Weeknights are terrible. Weeknights arent too bad.
I’ve been to many different planet fitness locations. Horrible staff and management here. Rude to customers, confrontational, and lazy employees. Bathrooms are messy, spray bottles constantly empty, paper towels out, and trash is full and never changed.
I think for what you pay, its a good deal. Its not going to have all of the equipment some of the other chains, have, but youre also paying less than half here compared to what you would pay at some of their competitors. Its a good chain for beginners who dont need free weights > 60 lbs.The $10 a month plan lets you go to the location you sign up at and the $22.99 per month plan lets you do any location and also bring a guest
Many patrons dont wear masks or dont cover their noses with masks. I feel afraid for the staff. It is sad.
Old and outdated! Especially their tanning beds! Facility is dark and uninviting! Could use a facelift for sure!!
Worker was very disrespectful and not answering any of my questions. I only want a 2 month membership for the summer and he said there’s a 40 dollar annual membership fee after 2 months, so I told him I would just cancel it before then since I don’t want anything longer than 2 months then he got upset that I didn’t want to get ripped off by an annual fee and refused to answer any of my questions. I wish I got his name, I don’t know if I’ve had worse service.The place is also tiny for a planet fitness and packed, I’d find another one or another gym.
The manager Alexis brings enthusiasm compassion and energy to the gym. Alexis cares about her members and takes care of any and all concerns immediately. As much as it’s a hassle for all of us to wear masks and sanitize our machines. We need to do it to keep the gym open and to be safeThis location allows people to continue to not wear masks and to not sanitize after using machinesOne gym member was blatant about not having a mask on and going from machine to machine doing sets. After each he did not sanitize any machines The stuff we all do...He’d stop and hang on machines between setsI couldn’t take it anymore so rather than a direct conflict with the lug head I went to tell the Planet Fitness personnelNo quick action and he walked outNot safe, no action when told about it.
The staff are rude and not very helpful at all . I tried 2 times to take a PF class and either the trainer doesn’t show up or they show up like 30 minutes later. Also I tried buying a bottle water after my workout the staff were too busy on their phones to help me . I don’t recommend this gym if you need help from the staff to help you. I even talked to the assistant manager and told me to talk too the General manager because there was nothing she could do about the PF trainer
It was a great experience it took a minute to sign up but once that was done machines were clean everybodys wiping everything down as quick as you get off at friendly comfortable atmosphere
I like this gym, especially for the price, but their response during this pandemic has been terrible. They don’t enforce mask wearing (even if you don’t have to wear one while working out - which is BS in and of itself - you are required to while walking around the gym), and their employees consistently wear their masks incorrectly all while walking around “sanitizing” machines.This completely defeats the purpose of even wearing the mask. Maybe they just don’t know or weren’t trained on how to wear their masks, but the lack of management clearly shows. Machines are also constantly out of order and cleaning isn’t really enforced or done very consistently either.
Nice place and and equipment. Workout equipment, massage chairs and tables and tanning beds. After that theres showers to cool off. Ill be coming back regularly. Thanks

Great gym, helpful staff, and everybody Ive ever interacted with is great! Positive atmosphere, and has a bike rack, so theres really nothing to complain about!
Had the basic membership and was accidentally upgraded to the Black Card. Reached out to online support and they said I had to downgrade in person. Went to the gym and was told they couldnt downgrade me without a manager present. Went two additional times when they said a manager would be present and they were never there.Fast forward a couple months and I go back to downgrade again. This time they said a manager was never needed to downgrade... so I was lied to. They said even though Planet Fitness accidentally upgraded me I had to pay a $15 downgrade fee. I refused to pay for a mistake they made and canceled my membership.Will never go back.
I mean it it a Planet Fitness and the gym was super super clean. Clean locker rooms, up to date equipment. Nice people too. But its so freaking small. During my tour of the facility, it appeared as if people were working out on top of each other, and that was a huge turn off for me as far as this location. The new Polaris location is nice and spacious though.

The workers are doing an outstanding job at this location keeping equipment and areas clean and safe for all members! Big fan! Have been recommending them over other gyms due to their efforts.
Its nice that its open 24/7 but the equipment is pretty lacking. They should replace their tanning and massage beds with more workout equipment to make a more complete gym. However, for beginners they have all the equipment youll need and a personal trainer during the day to help you get started. Note that they use the term personal trainer very loosely. Dont expect (insert celebrity here)s trainer but youll get someone who knows the basics. Overall clean and well staffed facility.
Gym itself is fine, albeit a bit small. Its the staff that are the real problem - nobody is really interested in actual customer service. The people behind the counter spend 90 percent of their time chatting or flirting with one another, and act like you walking in and needing to scan your badge is a major inconvenience to them. Rarely do you even get greeted (AFTER saying hello first), and when you do its begrudgingly. Avoid this location like the plague if you want a welcoming atmosphere.
Small compared to other planet fitness gyms. They won’t let you store things in the locker room but also won’t let you carry around even a small bag even while every other machine is blocked off. Am I supposed to just carry my stuff around from machine to machine and get it dirty on the floor? Staff is friendly while walking in and see them clean machines every once in a while but they mostly stay behind the counter
With the upgrades to the locker rooms, this is now a really nice gym. The lack of mirrors around the walls leave me feeling less self conscious, and the staff there is always kind and courteous.They do have most of the good machines from the other gym, but they do have less space, so there are a few things missing. With it being smaller and more packed in, somehow its more motivating than the other Planet Fitnesses Ive seen. While Im on one machine, Ill be looking for what to jump on next, and though I will spend less time here on black card features than at the other gyms, I tend to spend more time in the gym per visit due to actually working out longer and harder.
Very friendly staff, clean environment and no lunk alarms went off during my visit.

Came in and cancelled on the 11th WAS NEVER TOLD I WOULD BE CHANGED AGAINWhen I called they said I cannot get a refund Bec it gets processed on the 10th even through it doesnt come out for 8 days after.The people working here are absolutely incompetent. If he knows Im cancelling after the 10th he should have told me I would be changed again.Go to Dublin this place is full of idiots
Ive been to a good amount of different location when I travel and this planet fitness isnt bad at all. A little outdated in some areas yes, but has a good amount of equipment and is reasonably clean. They only reason I give them a 3 out of 5 is customer service. Im comparing the customer service here vs other planet fitness Ive been to. When you walk in the simple hows your day going and when you leave have a great day can leave a lasting impression over time(from personal experience) its funny because the newer staff are actually nicer and more customer friendly then the more experienced staff. This is an easy fix and Im interested to see if this review gets noticed and I see a difference in the future.
Inconsistent with mask rules. I was turned away for not having a mask, even though that wasnt a problem every other time I came here this week. Its also weird that they dont have disposable masks on hand to give people so they arent forced to drive all the way home and back. Absurd.
Its a decent place to workout. Never really reviewed a gym before... but its the best 10 dollars a month that I have ever spent. But of course you will only get out of it what you put into it. You dont just magically lose weight because you have a gym membership lol.
I love this gym because I love its philosophy. The only downside is that this place gets really busy during peak hours, to the point that you need to be prepared to spend your allotted workout time waiting in line for an elliptical or treadmill. So if you do go to this gym I suggest that you go either really late afternoon or really early morning to guarantee access to all of the machines
Very upset about this franchise. I get my workouts done in the morning before my workday. With COVID the hours no longer work for me plus having to wear a mask. I planned to call this week to cancel my memebership, but as of last week my yearly fee came out of my account (which should have came out in april) I call to cancel my memebership and they tell me they cannot refund my yearly fee that just came out even tho i will never use their gym and they are unwilling to do that! In a normal situation i would conpletely understand, but 1)it is a pandemic, 2) i was never even told that the yearly fee was coming out as it should have came out in april not August! To me this is gym is more concerned about money then their clients. And in a result they have lost us for good. We planned on returning after the pandemic, but i would never be a member in a gym, to which the owners of the franchise wont even talk to their clients. And let alone who act like the whole world isnt going thru a pandemic!Also i see a lot of the responses to other ratings as please follow up with a manager, but you cannot follow up with anyone higher then front desk. I have asked to get a number in upper management to speak about this, and poor front desk girl told me. They told us we are not allowed to give out their number.. great franchise huh?!?! Cant even talk to some above the highschool/college kids that work front desk..
This was the worst Planet Fitness that I have been to. My first impression was the locker rooms. They barely renovated from whatever the space was before. As far as the workout area goes...it needs to be updated. There is a crowded free weight and weight lifting area, there are plenty of treadmills, but NO STAIR STEPPER. That was a huge downside for me. Also, I only noticed one station for cleaning spray and towels. There should be a trashcan and cleaning station at every different type of area (cardio, arms, legs, weights, abs, etc).
I have only been a member at this location for a few days, but so far I could not be more pleased. Given some of the online reviews, I was a little nervous, but so far I have experienced friendly and attentive staff as well as maintenance issues fixed in a timely fashion. I think Planet Fitness is very upfront with the kind of services and equipment they offer. For anyone that seemed surprised or disappointed, I would say they didn’t investigate very closely before joining. If you are looking for a nice cardio selection and basic weight capabilities, (not to mention the tanning and other perks), Planet Fitness is an amazing deal!! This is a convenient location, with ample parking.
Great gym. Only 10 bucks a month. Open 24/7. Clean. Pretty nice staff. Modern equipment. Reasonably well-behaved and mannerly people. And, while this isnt a bodybuilders gym, there is still enough equipment for all but the most serious weightlifters. The dumbbells go up to 75 lbs., and they have Smith machines if you want to do heavier weight. Also, its much more spacious than it looks on the outside.
Good gym and is always pretty clean. Ive never had to wait for a treadmill or elliptical. Downside is that the free-weight area is fairly small even during times that arent the heaviest. Another downside to a large, fairly inexpensive gym is that there are a lot of inexperienced gym people there who dont understand how to put up weights when they are done or understand basic gym etiquette: you should NOT be on a machine for 10 minutes and not let others work in their sets!
Wish there were more step machines, but its a fine location. Bit smaller than others I used to frequent. Friendly staff, though.
A nice version of PF, though on the smaller side. Locker rooms have been recently renovated and greatly improved, but again smaller and tighter than the average PF . This location is also VERY busy most weekday starting as early as 5am .
Update: I tried this gym again. I found a condom wrapper on the locker room floor. Still filthy.When a machine breaks, it remains broken for a minimum of 2 months. The mens locker room is almost always filthy. People leave trash everywhere that doesnt get cleaned up. At the same time as most of the gym is dirty, there are 3 or 4 employees standing idle behind the front desk. Currently, the air conditioning does not adequately cool the gym area. The only redeeming quality is that its inexpensive.
Planet Fitness in general is a great deal. For the money, you really get a lot. This location is crowded, so sometimes parking is an issue, but not often. The staff is friendly, and they have good hot water in the showers.
This is the best gym ever! Youll never have trouble finding a treadmill. There are a multitude of cardio machines to choose from. Theres a stretching room. A 30-minute circuit machine room with red & green light that time your sets and breaks. There are plenty of weight machines and free weights.The best thing is the Black Card membership. They have hydrojet beds and lounge chairs. There are full body coin massage chairs like in the mall, they supply the coins. Dont forget the training beds.There is a trainer on staff Monday - Friday. He gives Orientation sessions and basic workout classes. Design Your Own Workout sessions are available for Black Card members.
Great staff plenty of equipment. Mens locker room a bit small. The womans is a lot better. Yeah, I walked in the wrong locker room..... No hanging /chin up bars that I saw. They do have four Smith machines.
I wished yall would go back to the 24 hour schedule. Or at least increase your hours by two. Close at 11pm m-f. Close at 9pm weekends. Time to allow some lockers to be open so members arent coming inside without a coat.
LOVE this place! Go there every morning between 5:00-6:00am. Always feel welcome. LOVE the staff! Greg and Justin are favs!! Machines work very well. Even when its crowded, I feel comfortable. No judgement is their way of life! Always clean and I feel safe in the parking lot. Just cant beat it for $10 a month!!

They push this judgement free zone mentality, which is nice and all, but the fact that they have no scales is absolutely ridiculous. How can you judge your progress without something so simple and ubiquitous at every other gym? Aside from that, there isnt much diversity in equipment when it comes to cardio. Treadmills, a couple bikes, and a couple of elliptical machines. No rowing machines, no stair climbers. In addition to the lack of options, the gym is not very spacious. If they replaced a few of the too many treadmills with different equipment, maybe this location would have some redeeming qualities.
This is the worst planet fitness I have been to. Lots of cracked upholstered seats, rubber grips on things broken or missing. Treadmill bands worn and shiney. The worst is pins worn or broken!!! Very dangerous!Staff was friendly. Always cleaning.So crowded everything about this place is cramped.NO STAIR STEPPER MACHINES.
The parking lot here is terrible. There is almost always a wait to park. There is also often a long wait for machines, even cardio machines, which they have lots of. The womens locker room is dinky and the restroom stinks sometimes. I have even seen lines for the restroom. However, it is cheap and has a lot more options than I can do at home.
Ive been to various Planet Fitnesses around Columbus and this one is perhaps the busiest. This translates into it not being the cleanest. I often see staff hanging out behind the counter instead of walking around and tidying up the place.It only takes one to two people to check people in. No reason why there should be six people behind the desk hanging out. The floor in the mens locker room is often wet, sometimes flooded, and the lockers need to be sprayed down routinely because they all smell like feet. The equipment also needs to be regularly maintained and wiped down.When I went to LA fitness they at least had one person constantly cleaning the place, and they had lower traffic.
Clean most of the time, a bit cramped during peak hours.. Very nice staff except the skinny girl with the long hair and the old dude working at the counter could use an attitude adjustment. Glad they got hooks for the showers.
For the price, Planet Fitness is a good, no-nonsense, no frills gym. There are dumbbell free weights (up to about 80 lbs.), 3 smith machines (but no squat cages), various resistance machines, and plenty of cardio equipment. There are limited weightlifting options for all but the biggest weightlifters (please add a squat cage, at least, PF! Smith machine is terrible for squats.). The staff is friendly. The only negative (considering the price of this gym) is that the locker rooms are oddly too small.
The equipment area was fine, based upon the limited space compared to other PF locations.But the locker room here was the first PF location in which I was kinda grossed out about the thought of touching anything - including the shower curtains.
I* love* my Planet Fitness membership.My preferred exercise is aerobic; predominantly jogging and cycling. I RARELY (if ever) have to wait for a machine. This gym has about 4 leg presses - cant say Ive ever waited on that machine, either!The judgment free zone is noteworthy and surprisingly crucial to my work-out. I never realized how inhibited I felt at the OSU R-PAC until I started working out at planet fitness, and boy does it expand the possibitlies when one doesnt feel self-conscious or awkward!I also witness a lot of people working their a$$es off, and that inspires me. I always leave inspired by some one dedicated to improving their health.Last but CERTAINLY not least, the staff are genuinely kind and positive people. I suffer bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and one young lady there never fails to ask me how my hands are; shell never know just how much I appreciate her asking. Im always greeted with a warm smile and as cheesy as it sounds, they actually make it seem like they are excited to see me- which is a great feeling!!This is a great gym. It is the perfect gym for me and all the other laid back people wanting to break a sweat and improve their fitness!
The price is very reasonable and the staff is friendly. It typically is not overly crowded. That depends on the time of year and when you typically go to the gym. Their equipment selection is on the limited side and there is not much space for any mat activities.
I have been attending this gym for over a year now. With my erratic schedule, my visits have been weekly to intermittent. Overall, my experience has been pleasant.The 24/7 hours are operation are a very convenient feature. The busiest times are late afternoon to early evening; while the weekendsmay vary.They provide personal trainers, whom can help you figure out your goals, limits, and how to use the equipment for gym new-comers. It might help to have mandatory gym tutorials in safety and success--though that would seemibnly be too expensive.The staff is overall friendly, professional and helpful. I have come to know David well and enjoy chatting with him pre/post-workout.There are a few issues, however. It seems the treadmills have complications detecting heartrate during cardio trainings and only have charging compatability with Apple products. The wifi will often go out, seemingly due to the network not being password protected so patrons of the grocer and thrift store next door will often take up bandwidth. The massage tables also provide more of an uncomfortable tickle than comfort. The second shower on the left in the mens locker room has ben out for months now.Would still recommend for a reasonably priced gym membership for self improvement.
For $10/month, this place rocks! I would pay $30/month for the cleanliness, friendliness, high-tech machines. Note that I am a woman and the womens bathrooms seem fine to me (though I havent seen the showers).
I only gave 3 stars because it seems treadmills dont work and when there is still social distancing, its hard to use a treadmill when 5 treadmills dont work. Hoping they get them working soon.
Clean enough gym floor with an odd layout.Bigger issue is the staffs sticky fingers. I left a small bag at the gym ended up confirmed to be in lost and found by staff over the phone. Overnight, my bag and contents were stolen after 3rd shift worked that night. It contained headphones my tablet charger and a backup phone battery. Staff confirmed it disappeared since confirming it was on hand. Brought to managements attention.UPDATE: suspected employee was confronted about the items and issue by mgmt, employee stopped showing for work.
I personally wasnt a fan. Its the bare minimum. I enjoy a more positive atmosphere, along with group classes. If you dont want to be bored...dont go to Planet Fitness, i always dreaded going because it was just really boring...and their weight section wasnt very big.
I love this gym. The staff also sells some really good stuff over the counter. Planet Fitness philosophy was supposed to be against this, what a great cover guys. Keep it up
This gym is way to small and crowded. No matter where you go, there will be someone close enough that you can feel them breathing on you. The people who work here are clueless and rude. The mens locker-room is absolutely disgusting. And there are only two stalls, which is usually not a problem unless both of them are occupied by gentlemen who are obviously in no rush. Ive had to wait over 10 minutes just to use the restroom.Avoid this place if you can. The location in Gahanna is the best that Ive been to, and the one in Hilliard is pretty nice too.
Just joined in November and its exactly what I wanted. I prefer working on my own and being able to ask for assistance or training advice if I feel a need. I hate structured classes. There is plenty of equipment - free weights, machines and cardio and a place for a quick 30-minute cross training workout. I havent used the tanning or massage beds, but they look to be in good shape. The place is clean, including the ladies locker room. People are friendly but leave you alone. And since I bike on the trail near my home when the weather and daylight allow, the low price will be reasonable for those spring-summer-fall weeks when I just want to go once a week to supplement what I do on the bike trail at home.
Been going for a while. Ive noticed the management has changed FOR THE WORST as far as customer service. Was I talking to a stick in manure? I go to PF to avoid gym douches and they ended up hiring one. If you see a short, bearded wimp, dont even bother. Most of the regular staff there are awesome. I havent interacted with all of them but the AM crew is really chill. Props to the hombre thats always cleaning. He really puts in work, well met.
Idiotic, wont let you cancel your membership no matter what you do.I left this gym a year ago and Im still trying to cancel. Ive complied with their procedures and sent multiple letters. They simply wont do it. These are absolute scan artists.
In the scheme of Planet Fitness this location should not even carry the brands name. What a total dump! Complete ship wreck! Wow, Ive been in trap houses that were nicer than this. The bathrooms looked like something out of an abandoned prison that was just rotting away. Staff was friendly but due to the state of the building inside, I left. The worst looking Planet Fitness Ive ever seen.
I only visited once with a neighbor. They offer a huge number of machines to accommodate large numbers of members. The guest where respectful and friendly. But I didnt see many staff in case you needed help of some sort. Maybe they think everyone is experienced.
This was by far the worst PF Ive been to in my coast to coast travel. Womens showers had mold on curtains. Brown/ black gunk in corners of tile. Dirty showers. Dirty locker rooms. Even the wall in the dressing room had what looked like snot. All the staff had their faces buried in their phones sitting on the counters. If there is that much time sit on their phones, there is time for cleaning. There is no reason at 12 mid. Thday that showers are dirty.
Extremely clean and very nice equipment. Staff could interact and talk a little more, and Make sure new people are comfortable and know their way around and what everything is and how it works.
This place being a value is questionable, and everything about this company is terrible. I got a black card since I couldnt do the $10/month prepay option again when I decided to renew my membership here, which in turn made it so I couldnt cancel when I wanted to, because it entered me into a contract, and I got charged their $41 annual automatic renewal fee, after I ended my membership, awesome, also its nearly impossible to find a corporate phone number, all in all, sub-par facilities, and the low cost membership adds up to be more money than this place is worth. Go get some fresh air and exercise outside, instead, thats free.
Nice locker room but gym is old & worn out equipment mostly. Staff is usually asleep on the hydro tables or massage chairs when I come in at 4:45am.

I usually went at night. The service was great and they have safety equipment as well as dbs and benches. I hear some people complain about free weights not being available, but theres enough equipment to get a fullbody workout, plus its how you use the equipment. You can modify things to get the full affect. Bathrooms are smelly but I attribute that to guys leaving smelly gym clothes in the locker and to all those individuals peeing on the commode or wrecking it just because its not their home bathroom. I hear the womens restroom is still in shape, why cant males be more mindful that its a public bathroom that is used by the rest of the public. I mean if I pee on the seat by accident, I clean it up for the next guy. This place still gets 5 in my book.
I didnt use my membership enough to say anything too harsh. I feel like the personal trainers pretty much give you a cookie cutter routine regardless of what your needs are. My biggest complaint is how ridiculous it is that in 2018 you cant cancel a membership via telephone or online. Why do I have to physically come in or mail (ha) a letter asking to end my subscription, ridiculous.edit*I also remember the time I saw staff blatantly racially profile someone and try to accuse him of using someone elses membership....
They renovated the place and got rid of barbells and benches. Its only machines. They claim its a judgment free zone, but they judge if you drop weights or make noise. Cheap at $10/mo, but its a tiny gym with no actual weights. Im changing gyms
I enjoy going to planet fitness, the 2 I have been to in Columbus are the indianola and Lewis center locations and while the Lewis center one does have a bigger gym and a few extras they both are clean, the atmosphere is great and the people who work at both locations have been nothing but awesome!!! I love the fact the membership is affordable and the locations fit my needs and my schedule. I found the best gym, thank you to all of the employees at these locations, keep up the great job. :-)
Real geniuses working the desk there. I was in from out of town and needed a day pass. They kept my drivers license! You have one simple job to do....Then you would think they mail it to you since it was their incompetence. Nope they just toss it. How bout send me the $10 it cost to replace it?
Parking can be a pain at certain times and the free weight area could be larger, but it’s all good
My big concern was the showers in the womens restroom. They always have hair on the walls. As I am here frequently, Ive noticed that they are the same hairs on the walls, which suggests to me that the showers are not being cleaned. Thats unsanitary and just plain gross.
Not a fan of gyms without squat racks. And I try to be reasonable and respectful at the gym but still got a hard time from staff for trying to workout hard. Judgement free unless your the person they judge.
Very nice and formidable staff, without a doubt! But definitely a very dirty location. The mens locker/bathroom was disgusting with q-tips all over the floor and toilet paper. Rather revolting! Not going there again, for sure.
I really disliked this gym because with the Cove 19 everyone I think should be wearing a mask, but somewhere in somewhere not. I feel its not safe
This is my home gym. Planet fitness as a company has some major flaws in the fact that if you want to go beyond general fitness you are out of luck. If you want to build muscle as a “body builder” they don’t have the equipment necessary and will for sure sound the Lunk Alarm.

First impression is everything, if the person at the front desk doesnt want to be bothered enough to give us a tour then why should I even consider joining your facility.
It is a clean location, professional staff, & solid gym equipment here. It is on the smaller side which has it’s positives and negatives depending on what you are looking for. Overall a good experience here.
Parking is a nightmare. Very busy. Smaller facilities than many PFs, so some equipment options are unavailable.
I spend 1.5 hrs 3-4 times a week. Id love to be able to spend more time at Planet fitness... I love the environment as well as being able to work out at my own pace. Everyone is freindly, I just love it!!!!!
I like going here, but only at 7am. If I go in the evening its too crowded. As long as its early in the morning its great!
If they would enforce the rules about people using the circuit area like they would other machines, it would be nice. Regardless of signs, people are being permitted to just camp out on machines. Friendly staff.
Its ok, Im just uncomfortable with so many younger people. Its frequently crowded, so that makes me even more uncomfortable. I liked victory gym, where it was all old women. Its a fine gym, its certainly cheap, but its not for me.
COVID doesn’t just disappear after 10pm...... the best feature about this gym was the 24/hr access..... they lost me after the early shutdown...
Wish I could give this place zero stars. Facility was dirty and smelly. Terrible billing. Cant use free weights. Unlike their claim, it is NOT a judgement free zone. This is a feel good about yourself club, not a gym. Absolutely horrific.
No squat rack. No bench press. Dumbbells only go up to 70lbs. Unnecessary amount of treadmills and elipticles. If you are looking to do solely cardio or the epitome of mediocre fitness, this is the place to be. If you are looking to seriously lift weights, look somewhere else. Gave it 2 stars solely because it is cheap ($10/month)
Moved out of state so I tried to transfer my membership and wasn’t given much help, so I was looking to cancel, only to be told that I must either come in to cancel or send a letter by mail.
Solid gym for the price point! It’s about as busy as you’d expect for a planet fitness, but you generally won’t have to wait for anything if you’re able to avoid the peak times.
Convenient location from home. The space is kinda tight compared to other planet fitness locations.
First time I got a membership. It was great the lady at the desk was efficient and got me together in no time.
Dirty, poorly managed, apathetic employees. There is generally trash on the floor and in parking lot. Many of the sanitation stations are often empty. There is no policing or member education on common hygiene etiquette.
This worthington location started off good,,but I knew in due time they would be like every other big box gym --once they get membership up then the customer service will go down..over 6,000 members & they do not cap membership which means they will just continue to watch the $10 a month members walk in & not care about the members,,,then recently they cut a lock off my wifes locker bc another member claimed she had keys in this locker as well....cut my wifes lock off the locker & told my wife oh well,,while the manager of this gym was on site he just stood & watched without offering any help - he doesnt care about the members just the money coming in,,,,do yourself a fav & stay away from the purple n yella Flanet Pitness,,,they dont judge? well what gym does??? CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE .....ZERO stars - but i guess i have to click on one so my post will publish...oh its cool bc 1 star means hated it
Its ok for beginners. Wish they had a rowing machine or running track or kettle bells or yoga balls. Very basic gym.
The staff is friendly when you enter, the wifi works, and all the machines/weights are in good condition. Only wish there was a bench press, but havent been to any planet fitness with one.
The staff seem to have become a nice bunch of folks who really care about the people who show up take care of themselves. I like its important to them the place is clean.

I enjoy going to planet fitness, the 2 I have been to in one in cincinnati and columbus.but the one problem I have with the one on Indianola is that the locker rooms look like some thing out of the 80s it would be nice if they up date them.
The gym is clean, rules arent 100% followed as said online. Some staff is friendly, some okay, others are down right rude. Im brand new to the gym and got no tour or anything. The guy just said here and went back to his conversation.
First time at this location and hated it. It’s a super overcrowded, cramped, tiny gym with dirty locker rooms. I just transferred to this location because I moved and this one is the closest one to my new house. I’m already considering a new gym even though this one is 7 mins from my house.
A 24 hour gym for the price of a Netflix account. Couldnt beat that deal. Also, they usually have ESPN on with whatever games that currently being played. Whats more motivation to a workout than watching LeBron dunk on some punk. You dont want to be that punk do you? Thats what I thought - youve got one more rep in you.
Cheap and tons of treadmills. However, there are no longer any free weight barbells, only 3 of the barbell squat stations and little space to work with dumbbells. This place clearly sold out to fad dieters.

Yikes, mens locker room is super dirty, Ill do the curtesy of not describing incase you have eaten recently. At the other locations in town they clean the locker rooms :)!

This is a gym for people who dont go to the gym. No free weights, they serve pizza...counterproductive. The bathrooms smell like camp latrines.

I start my membershipe in 12th they charge me in 17th the same month. after 8 months I cancelld my membershipe in 16th they charge me in 17th the same month and they refuse to refund me.
This Planet Fitness is very compact and somewhat difficult to maneuver in when busy but clean enough with polite staff

2022-06-01HAD TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION!! I had a membership years ago and cancelled my membership due to there not being a facility where I moved out of town. When I called in to cancel I was told that everything was taken care of and that my membership was cancelled. Fast forward to now I move back home and went to rejoin and was told that I have a $500+ balance but I was only told this after I showed up to work out after paying for a new membership (why would their system let me sign up and take my money if I have a balance owed?). When I arrived mind you this is not the former home location but I was told I could not workout after that day until the balance I had no idea about was cancelled from another location.. I called and spoke to Gabby and she told me that they can reduce the amount from $500+ to $104 or she can cancel my membership (mind you she told me she could cancel over the phone) ( and that’s a big gap to take off if I truly owed that amount so that to me is odd to reduce it to that) she told me to think about it and call back and that she was putting a note in my account so that whomever I speak with when I call back could cancel if I chose to, so I did. Last night planet fitness takes $40+ out of my account and when I call about it, I find out that Gabby lied on my account and did not put what she told me she was putting on my account and that my membership is not canceled and that she was not going to argue with me about it, mind you she’s speaking over me, cutting me off and was beyond rude and argumentative with me. So I told her thank you for showing out on that phone call because I was recording her and I hung up and called my lawyer.. I advise anyone who deals with them to record the phone calls and call a lawyer. This is NOT how a business is supposed to be ran they are ROBBING people by still charging after they have cancelled on multiple occasions! How are you taking my money for a service you say I can not use but then won’t even put the money towards the $104 you claim I can pay I would of been willing to accept that plan but at this point I want nothing to do with planet fitness.. CALL A LAWYER

My fault for not paying more attention but you’d think they’d be a little more understanding. And yes this is petty of me but I’m broke and now I’m out of 41 bucks that could have been gas money. 2020-01-02Great place to workout! It is very clean, the staff are totally upbeat and friendly. This location has plenty of water bottles for purchase I bought mine from here especially for the price! Honestly you get pretty awesome deals each month for signing up and you will love the staff!

2022-01-20This isn’t my favorite PF location. It was enough to make me upgrade so i can visit different locations. I originally had a membership with South High and wanted to change to a place closer to work.This location is extremely crowded and not very beginner friendly. the tight space makes it difficult for those with anxiety around working out. it’s usually pretty busy.i saw the sign on the door that said if you don’t have a mask the front desk will provide one. staff said they didn’t have any, so i had to walk all the way back to my car which was parked pretty far away. not the biggest deal, but pretty inconvenient as a first time visitor.there are two stair machines, which are my favorite and the reason i have a gym membership. one is broken and the other is usually occupied. the room is super cramped and crowded.i prefer locations with less foot traffic and more spacious areas. i didn’t see any stretching or ab areas in this gym either, and stretching is a must for me before a workout. overall not a great location.

2021-11-19Franchise owner please contact meNew manager is pushing people out daily. This includes employees. I respect policies, but not poor approach. Polaris PF is immaculate, has great customer service and took time to explain policies to me. I’ve been a member for nearly 3 years and unfortunately Clintonville PF has declined heavily. The smith machines are not placed properly, equipment repairs are extensive and the gym is very small. I started my change there at 407 pounds and I’m happy to report I’m now 215-20. It’s sad today will be the last day I enter the building.I understand the rules, but was unaware of the bag policy. I’ve never been approached before, so was baffled. I chose to leave, but was followed by the new manager when I said I would leave to go to Polaris. It’s far superior in service and hours. The new manager made two regular members feel unwelcome.Polaris has been gaining more and more members who are extending their days and driving north.

2021-11-27Not only does this Planet Fitness have less equipment than all the planet fitnesses I have been in, but the repair time for machines that are down (quite a few) is slow. They removed a number of machines for social distancing, but since that it not required in the gym anymore they have retuned some, but not all. I am not sure why all have not been returned, as all of the treadmills are open and they’re not 6 feet apart.Additionally, they are not 24/7 and have limited hours compared to other gyms that are not 24/7 (even though two large decals on the front doors say “24/7”). I have asked multiple times when they will go back to 24/7 hours, like the agreement of the membership states, but they keep citing ‘lack of staffing’ as an issue. Management needs to pay more so that people will actually want to work there.Today, I tried to enter the gym and I realized I had forgotten my mask at home. No worries right? The sign on the front door says masks required, but that if you don’t have one there will be some at the front desk. I ask the worker (who has her mask around her chin LOL) for a mask, and she says they do not have any and that I cannot enter the gym. One glance around the gym will reveal about half of the guests not wearing a mask as they walk around. Literally every other business I have been in and asked for a mask when I forgot mine or it broke have provided me with one.

2022-02-19I don’t understand the logic of forcing people to have a mask as they walk in and then allowing people to remove it once you check in. Not only that, but not providing extra masks so if you don’t have one you can’t work out at all.
