Piada Italian Street Food in other cities:
Good food, lots of choices and you can customize everything the way you want it. This was our first visit, but they walked us through how it worked. Had the bacon and blue salad with added chicken. Also had the penne pasta with Alfredo and grilled chicken, very good. The pepperoni sticks were good as were the meatballs. We will be back.
My girlfriend and I both ordered the Pomodora bowls. We weren’t impressed with the quantity, relative to the price, and our pasta was somewhere between cold and room temperature. Also, $3.49 for a large soft drink seems a bit excessive. The best part of our meal was the sauce, which was excellent.
The food was delicious but I dont recommend ordering online. We had ordered a few of the piada sticks but they forgot the parmesan dipping sauces. The kids spaghetti didnt have the mozzarella we added and the other pasta bowl ordered didnt have the roasted broccoli and tomatoes we had added. Kinda disappointed since we were talking the food for someone else.
Overall my experience here has been great. However, today I received a notification about my order being cancelled. Upon calling the store I spoke with Josh who did not ask for my name or an order number. Josh was very rude and disrespectful. He proceeding to tell me to contact Doordash for a refund when the order was not placed through Doordash.I ended the call as it seemed as if he was not in a place to assist with either getting more information or refunding.Upon calling back I spoke with the General Manager (Amanda) who initially had a unprofessional tone. After me asking if she would allow me to speak she listened and stated that she processed my refund. Please refrain from speaking to Josh as Im not sure if this is personality or if he was just having a bad day.I hope they can improve with professionalism overall.A simple question for my name and order number would have resolved so much quicker. Now I would rather not dine there after dealing with this.
I was extremely disappointed when I visited this Piada today. When I waked into the building the whole place smelled like rotten food. And the floors, tables, and even the walls were dirty. As well as the outside eating area was disappointing. Pasta all over the ground. Dirty tables that were extremely sticky and gross. When I went to order the employee helping me was inpatient with me and was continually rolling her eyes everythin I was ordering a topping. When I got to the register the cashier was extremely forget full and ask me 4 times if it was for here or to go within a minute. Nostop. And they also forgot to add the parm to one of my bowls. Then when I went to take.a bite of my pasta which had calamari I realized that it was rotton and was old. I aslo realized that ny other bowl which contained salid was dry and old. So I went back insided and handed them both of the bowls back and they did even refund me. And I payed 36.09! This is insane. I dont recimend this place
Ok so usually I love Piadas but this time I had a terrible experience. I was about to eat my food when my wife pointed out that the chicken looked a little undercooked. I didn’t think anything of it but as I looked closer it was completely raw. Like pink and mushy as how you buy it from the grocery store raw. I wasn’t pleased with this at all.
I walked in the door and the employees were screaming at each other, threatening one another and it was absolutely disgusting chaos! I worked in an open kitchen at Carrabbas and was appalled by these employees and their lack of respect for the job they couldnt do! But wait, I still tried to order because my fiancé wanted food from there, EVERY Piada wed visited previously was a great experience! They tried giving me half the order and when I told the cashier I didnt have my calamari, I was given attitude. Turned out it hadnt even been made. After waiting 10 minutes for the calamari, I asked for a refund and got out of there as quickly as possible! Corporate should be notified about this and they should have professional help come in and clean house. No way Id go back here under current management or if the employees I seen were within a stones throw of this place.
Today was our first time going here, and how great it was!! Everyone was so helpful, explained anything we had questions about. We noticed the cook checked the temperature of every meat he cooked, so we thanked him for that. Joe (The cook), came out of the kitchen after and made sure we liked our meal, and greeted us again. Great experience and food!!!
Ive never been to a Piada before and I have to say, I loved it. Its similar to Chipotle in setup. You can choose anything from a pasta bowl to salad, or piadas which are like a wrap. My girlfriend loved the carbonara pasta bowl w/ meatball, I went for the summer avocado piada with grilled chicken. We got roasted corn salad and a pepperoni stick on the side and washed it down with a couple of blueberry hibiscus lemonades.Definitely will be going back, as everything exceeded our expectations. The only downside was the longer line, but this location just opened so they were very busy. You can order ahead online to avoid the line. Also kudos to everyone working there. Super friendly staff and work fast!
Went here a couple of months ago and the food was fantastic! Great quality and selection- it maybe a little bit of a higher price then other restaurants but not by much. And it also it was nice to see a diverse group of down to earth employees working together very well. It I get the chance to- I might stop here again. UPDATE- Purchased lunch for me and relatives the other day. Very good service and the quality of the food is phenomenal! If you get the chance- I would highly recommend stopping in!
Wow....just wow!! I have never seen a team work so great under so much pressure. Me and my girlfriend just had dinner there and not only was the food great, but the employees were so kind and so calm. The chef/manager was so helpful with the employees and still was able to cook the protein while communicating with staff and guest. This is by far one of my greatest experiences in any type of restaurant you guys did great!
For the past few visits to several fast food restaurants (not Piada), I have not had good experiences.Today I stopped in this Piada. I was greeted warmly and with smiles. If I was able to give 10 stars this spot would receive a 10. Clean, friendly and pleasant employees.Thank you guys for the smiles. Keep up the excellent work.
The staff was extremely friendly here. We had some issues and the cashier at the time her name was Emily she was extremely polite and helped us resolve our issue. It was very refreshing to have such an excellent experience, especially since we have never been to Piada before today.
We came here a couple years ago when they 1st opened and it was such an awful experience we never went back until tonight. We wanted something different so we gave it a try. Not gonna lie I was fully expecting to be disappointed and end up eating a bowl of cereal for dinner tonight but to my surprise it was actually a good meal. My only complaint is that it was bordering on too salty for me. We may have to add this to the rotation.
We ordered two pasta bowls and garlic dough online. After making the pick up and coming home. One bowl was missing zucchini and mushrooms, parmesan and mozzarella cheese. The second bowl was missing parmesan, zuchini and sweet corn & tomato even though they charged extra for the corn. I really used to like this place but now its just getting worse and worse. Definitely not going to be coming here as much as I used to and going to check my orders before leaving the place enough though I shouldnt be.
We are from out of town. A friend of ours had had surgery and we wanted to provide her and her spouse a meal. I found Piadas and thought it sounded good. I had some issues ordering as I had never used doordash. I called the store and they were extremely helpful. The order went perfectly and door dash delivered to their home correctly. Our friends, who had never eaten there, loved the meal and will order again. Thanks Piadas for assisting us is showing love to our friends. Cant wait to try it for ourselves when we are in the area.
Piada in Parma has officially lost my business once and for all. I witnessed how their employees spoke to an elderly women that had a health exemption come into their store with out a mask to receive a free meal from the chef that was promised to her. The employee attacked the poor women and did not help her. On top of that acted as if they couldn’t hear her. The women asked kindly how to go about the situation and the rudely kept telling her they can’t hear her and to order online when the meal was supposed to be free as promised. The rudeness of the employees made me loss my appetite. Piada please do a better job at hiring employees. They posses no costumer service quality or kindness for that matter. I’m sorry but you just lost a customer today and I will pass this information on to friends and family. I will not support a restaurant that treats people and especially elderly people with health conditions like that!!Update: the owner never got back to “resolve the problem “ the management reflects the employees.
Food is great. BUT the last 2 times Ive ordered food for pick up they skimp on the additionals. I pay $4.99 on each of my kids meals for chicken on pasta and get literally 2 pieces, its unacceptable. The bag is also stapled shut so Im unable to check my order before leaving.
Super good create your own piada! Love all the options!UPDATE: came here on 12/22/20These people that was working there that day made the food with love!! This was the best experience I ever had here!! Other times is was okay they would miss some stuff that goes in the bowls. But the workers there that day should get a raise!! Well done you guys are amazing group!!
The last two times I’ve been to Piada, my order has been messed up. They forgot the important part of the meal - the meat. Went back in and asked them to fix my orders (mine and my significant others) and they had an attitude about it. And the kicker was, when they did make new bowls, it took us to tell them that my meat (salmon) was ready after it sat there on a back shelf for 2 minutes. They weren’t even busy at the time we went both times. We got ahold of someone higher up about what happened. We were told that we would be sent an email for free bowls because of the inconvenience. Well... it’s been 6 six months. We never got that email sent to present on our next visit. All I can say communication is not good and the attitudes need to go.
Was NOT a pleasant experience. Big guy manager Shawn/Sean had very poor customer service skills, rolling eyes, and huffy. Soon as we walked in, we were asked to wait while he got 2 online orders done. My daughter and I got bowls, I asked for extra noodles and he told me I couldn’t get them. I offered to pay extra for them and was still denied. My already made bowl stayed there on the counter for at least 5 minutes, already done waiting on chicken that was already on there. I would recommend giving him a course on customer etiquette. When asked for his name he ignored us and the cashier had to give it to us. Very poor management skills. If I could give no stars I would!!!
I ordered online for curbside pick up. When I got there I was told that I did not order curbside and was asked to come in. I replied that I couldn’t as I’m still social distancing and haven’t been anywhere. Begrudgingly they said they would bring it out. Before I could express my thanks and tip the person, the lady very nastily told me next time order curbside! I really think that was uncalled for. I’ve eaten there many times and the food is always very good, but I was very disappointed on how this was handled. As consumers during this pandemic we are learning too. Various restaurants have different ordering ways. I apologize if I ordered pick up rather than curbside but her attitude was awful! I could understand if it was busy but maybe five people were inside the place and I was the only one parked in curbside. The woman was thin and I’ve seen her before working as if she might be the manager! These are trying times so how about being a little kinder.
We had the chicken carbonara and it was the bomb. You get a big bowl for the money, but not gonna fib, it was mostly spaghetti. The meat was all delicious, but I could have used more chicken for sure. Didnt even seem like half a small breast. Also had the garlic dough-- now THAT was on point! I could eat a ton of that, but you only get one little wedge. Its definitely not for sharing. (Dont think bread sticks, folks. Thats not the deal.) I didnt see where you could order a sharable size--that would be nice!Over all its excellent, just not quite over the top for me. Ill definitely be back, though!
I wanted to try something new for lunch. I tend not to have high expectations for new places. I must say yall out did your self. I Ordered a pasta bowel with calamari on it and a chicken wrap. Both dishes was awesome thanks. The wrap had a slight kick to it which I was not expecting but overall I was very satisfied. I was amazed with the calamari it was cooked to perfection. Being an Italian I find it is hard to find calamari cooked right. Keep up the awesome work. Most definitely will be ordering again in the near future.°I made my order of door dash°
Hit or miss. Sometimes it is really good. Sometimes they are lazy and dont look at your actual order and just give you pasta, with sauce and protein even though you ordered a carbonara bowl that comes with a bunch of stuff. Sometimes the food is cooked perfect, sometimes it is undercooked or burned. Would be nice to see some better consistency from this location.
I visited this location on Monday 6/25, and I was coming in during a bit of a rush because a group had entered right before me. I was really impressed by the teamwork, efficiency, and customer service of the team during my visit. They handled the rush really well because they worked together, and there really wasn’t much longer of a wait! All the while, they were very attentive to myself and the customers behind me! I ordered the summer power bowl, and it was delicious!
I was shocked by how clean and professional each of the staff were at this Piada location! The store manager, Brooke, introduced herself and welcomed me to the west side of Cleveland. The store was very clean for even being the end of a Saturday shift. The bathrooms very well kept. I also had very fresh food that was served with a smile! It was truly a pleasurable dining experience and one where I ll be back.
Pretty decent place but today i ordered a powerbowl and i didnt come with any avocados... very disappointed since that is my favorite ingredient and the main reason i paid so much for the meal. its pretty decent most of the time tho. edited they made things right! Good company!
Food its great service it’s fantastic!! Yetsenia its the best person out of everyone. She takes care of costumers and every little detail on your plate matters to her. Shes great on the line serving food and on the cashier too. But after all its a great place to get some fast Italian food.
I ordered online to get curbside service. It indicated that the order would be ready at 6pm. I arrived at 6:08 and checked in online for my curbside pickup. At 6:23PM I had to go into the store after watching 8 people go in and get food and leave and no one even attempted to bring me my food. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!! The chef in the white jacket just stood there and looked at me like I was stupid. No one offered an apology or anything for my inconvenience.
This place is always kept very clean and organized. The food has always been fresh and tasty. This is one of very few piadas in Cleveland so it is always a treat to go here. There always seems to be the right amount of employees for the amount of customers when I visit. the wait times are not very long. The food can be a bit expensive but that is what you get for any type of fast food service where the food is not simply heated up in a microwave. Would recommend this place to others.
So earlier this week I came in here wanting to try this place out, as the food looks amazing in the advertisements. I came in on Tuesday on my lunch break, at 1230; there was 1 customer checking out and 3 employees on the line. None of them said anything to me. I was the one and only customer in line trying to order food.I got irritated after several minutes past and still no one had acknowledged I was standing there waiting to place an order. All 3 employees were talking about an online order. I walked out. I didn’t want to get upset, ruin my day or anyone else’s or be unpleasant so I just left. I was disappointed because before getting in line I stood there reading all the menu items and looking at the pictures and I was looking forward to eating something fresh, and new.Two days later, Thursday, same time I decided to come back as I told myself maybe they were swamped w online orders, again I really wanted to try the food here. ; the same exact occurrence!! No said anything to me and I was the only customer in line.I guess I will never try their food. It’s simply rude to not say hello, or we’ll be w you shortly, or anything, a head nod would suffice.I’m really upset because both days I wasted my lunch break coming here and didn’t end up eating lunch from the lack of response at piada. If you enjoy being ignored this will be a pleasurable experience.
Do not order for pickup, its not their focus and is very poorly handled.EDIT: After leaving this review I have picked up twice and not had to wait at all. So in fairness (and because the food is amazing 😉) Ive changed my rating to 5 stars. How often does a business address a complaint by actually fixing the problem? This one has. Thanks Piada.
Usually a great place to eat until tonight. Me and my girlfriend do not eat pork because of religious beliefs that we hold so we ordered from Piadas and the receipt even says no pork yet after eating a few bites off the top of the bowl she bites into bacon. The staff gave us a hard time and a woman named Charlene said it was no big deal and we could get a refund then Chef Shaun could not aid in helping us either I asked for the General Manager and was told to call on the morning even though the problem is serious so i settled for asking for the corporate number and once again Shaun was a shinning star here and couldnt provide it I had to google the number. And this is on top of the fact that the Salmon was overcooked to the point that it was dry and crispy and not just the normal crisp on the edge. Also whoever was talking in the background of the recording i took of the calls explained to another employee that the dish normally comes with bacon so someone must have tried to pick it off wich explains why it wasnt on top just at the bottom and in the middle.
Quick and incredibly friendly service. Decent sized portions especially for the price, and everything from the basil pesto pasta to the salmon was delicious. Outside of a sit down restaurant I dont think theres a better meal in town. Want to especially give props to the cashier with dreadlocks who ensured my food (the salmon part of the meal) was coming out even while taking care of a line of customers. Great spot, which has definitely raised the bar for Parmatown food fair.
The quality of service varies greatly. Some times they make great pastas and are quick, work asa team and move the line quickly. Other times like today. The service was slow, my pasta wasnt even tossed. It doesnt look appetizing, I also have no way of tossing it myself because bowl caps have hole. Over all I no longer like this place.
I love Piada, however today was an off day. I did not receive very good customer service. I work in the customer service field and know this has a huge impact on whether or not customers return. My order was missing key ingredients and I felt like I was a hassle to the employees for presenting a promo code I received via email. The food was good, but customer experience and satisfaction, not so great.
Popped in this evening for a late night dinner. Ill be honest and say we have been there two other times since they opened and both times it left a lot to be desired. Figured watt the heck. . Third time is a charm as the saying goes. Tonight we experienced the friendliest staff who really seemed to enjoy their jobs, but also delicious food! We will definitely be back!
I absolutely love this place. I found this place in Columbus and it wasnt anywhere else yet. My family waited until it finally came up to us. If I had to describe it to any, I would say its and Italian Chipotle. They have a bunch of different toppings you can use. They have these Piada Sticks that are to die for! You cant go wrong with anything you get! Its all amazing!
Service is amazing. Food is amazing. I got the carbonara pasta with spinach, tomatoes, bacon, chicken, mushrooms and all 3 cheeses and I gotta say its probably the best Ive had. Prices are great as well. The restaurant is clean and looks good. Very wonderful experience and I go back over and over for more. Definitely recommend you try it if youre in town or just never had the chance to stop in.
I am so tired of the night crew closing down an hour early leaving only stale options of food to be served. Literally my last 4 visits. It’s pure laziness. This was my last chance with them. Not to mention it always takes more than 10 minutes to get my food even when there is no one in line.
My daughter and I came here to grab dinner last week. I think her name was Ameena (sorry about spelling) was so polite, quick and very welcoming. Last time I came here the person making the food had an attitude, but not her! She had such a positive vibe. Made the experience so much better. Thank you !
The food was decent and it is the only thing saving this place from all 1 star review. With that said, the service here was absolutely atrocious. It was my first time here as the place just opened sometime 2018 in Parma. I walked in the door and even though the place was completely empty, the 3 women behind the counter just ignored my fiance and I.I asked a simple question about a piada and because the nasty woman was busy playing on her phone she has to say what I was busy...The rest of the time ordering and waiting we were given mean looks like we were bothering these 3 workers and preventing their conversation.I could write 3 more examples out but its just not worth it. I will when I go take the corporate survey from the receipt I gotThe service was so bad and these 3 workers were so rude that I will never return here to eat again. And if they keep it up without management doing anything about these negative reviews, I cant see them lasting long at this location (or any location).I wont even recommend this place to my worst enemy.Thank you
It was aight. Got the carbonara and found myself craving olive gardens alfredo and thinking it needed more seasoning. Tasted like something youd make at home....not in a good way. As i was eating i thought i could do better cooking. I love it for the fastness. And their iced tea is the bomb. But, besides that....meh.
Food delicious as always. Tasty ingredients everything made fresh to order. Unfortunately, between online orders and customers walking in to order staff always seems overwhelmed or short staffed and takes awhile to get your food. Dont think you can just run in and run out here.
So I have left a previous review stating this was a good spot to eat. I have been here multiple times since then and I have noticed one consistent thing. Two of the workers who are in a minority group (Im in a minority too Im trying to make this sound un-racist as possible) are ALWAYS sitting around while the other employees are doing what theyre supposed to do.I came in today and asked for basil pesto with a side of calamari. The lady calls to said worker for a calamari and he says I got it, never got out of his seat the ENTIRE time I ate there and continued to chat to his fellow co-worker. I can tell the other staff were quite frustrated with him.
First visit. Food was good but pricey. Spent $ 40 on two wraps and 2 small pastas. Was charged for large pasta. Staff had to ask two/three times for items. They did this to everyone. They need more training or new jobs. Will not advise that you go here unless you have a ton of time . Ps they even messed up a guys online order. He had to come back in and it looked like they added meat to his pasta. In my opinion thecounter girls just didnt care. Per other reviews it looks like this is the norm. So many other places to go. I suggest Piada as a last resort
The food was fineThe customer service. Not so much. Had to ask to have my pasta mixed. I am unsure if this changed so I asked. Cause usually they mix in a heated pan. She mixed it in a random bowl that looked like it was recently washed. The cashier acted as if he had plans of quitting that night. Just unengaged. Forgot my childs milk and when I reminded him he seemed as if he was bothered.
The young petite black lady in the white coat (lexi or lexis?) was rude not only to me and my wife but also to her fellow co-workers. As a business owner myself I would be utterly disgusted if the head of my team treated employees so disrespectfully. As we dined in I could not help but notice that she stood over watching the employees as they clean/worked vigorously; however, it did not seem like it had been good enough to please her. Fellow customers had noticed the same thing and made comments to themselves. It would be highly unfortunate if this behavior for a manager is tolerated. Anyway the food was great!
Went for the first time last night and tried quite a few things. Pasta carbonara dish was very good. The pancetta in it was nice and crisp and the grilled chicken I added was actually lightly seasoned! My fiance got a piada and a power bowl and said both were very good and super filling. Portion sizes were fairly generous and the prices were totally reasonable. Will be returning
Food was fine but I felt they were a bit light on the ingredients. Service was terrible. It seemed like we were inconveniencing the workers by being there, including the chef. We have been there many times and this was by far my worst experience. Even though its further we will probably go back to the Rocky River location.
I found out about this place a few months ago and have placed multiple orders. The last couple of orders have been less than stellar. Today, I ordered the basil pesto pasta with salmon and a chicken piada. The salmon was undercooked and the piada was mostly tortilla. I dont know what happened to this place, but I dont think Ill be back. Very disappointed.
UPDATE: They contacted me and sent me cards for free bowls. Dont know when Ill go back, but appreciate the gesture so Ill add a star.$5 pasta bowl special was a disaster. The advertisement doesnt state any exclusions (except one location). I called ahead before ordering and asked if it was all bowls, any size for $5? They said yes. I placed an online order. My sister went to pick up and pay inside. They told her that there was only one bowl per order. I called in and explained the situation to the manager, Jessica. She told me that my sister had to come in so they could correct it. They took her receipt and said the promotion was for only one bowl. No apology, no offer to make it up. The manager had thrown out the receipt and when my sister asked her to reprint it, the manager got an attitude. To top it all off, one of the bowls charged for chicken, but didnt have it.Now, I understand there being a misunderstanding with the promotion, but that does not fall on the customers shoulders. The company didnt specify exclusions so that falls on the company to make up for it.
Excellent staff. We waited a little long but we weren’t in a hurry. And because of our wait, they gave us a coupon for the inconvenience. It really wasn’t a big deal with the wait for us, but I highly appreciate that they went out their way just to do that. And the service was already great to start with. Would recommend to anyone.
Food was ok! what really ruined my first experience is the fact that I entered the building before about 10 people and I was standing behind a guy who was placing his order and the young blonde girl could clearly see I was behind him waiting patiently to place my order but then when he was done others started to walk in. At that moment I still continued to wait where I was which wasn’t directly in the wait line but right next to it and I kept looking at the girl and she didn’t ask me if I was next in line or anything and I didn’t want to be rude so I didn’t say anything and I simply decided to go in the back of the line even though I was waiting to place an order right in front of the food prep station and I blatantly got ignored!! Of course until I went into the appropriate line behind 10 other people. I understand I was partially at fault for not waiting in on the side where you can form a line but when I got there there was only one other person in front of me so I waited directly in back of him! I just would have thought she would’ve said sir have you placed an order yet? Like I wasn’t just standing there for nothing?! I guess she had a blonde moment or something but what mad me very angry is she didn’t even apologize for allowing me wait over 30 minutes and taking other people’s order in front of me when I was there before all of them! I guess next time I will speak up.
The staff isnt very efficient when it comes to working on taking customers orders anymore, i went down 2 stars because the place is going downhill as far as customer service. Slow working staff, portions are so small you gotta keep an eye on your food because they will put the smalles amount possible to a big mound of greens. I gotta keep saying a bit more please because they think 5 pieces of tomato will go well with a big bowl of salad and one leaf of cilantro.... come on, so tired of restaurants skimping when theyre expensive. Portions and customer service keeps the customer coming back... portions are making me stop going here. Plus i found plastic wrap in my salad!!!! Plastic!!! Im so glad i looked at it because it was covered in my aioli sauce. I really liked this place... district managers need to come make a surprise visit and get these people on their game!!!
I usually love their food especially the lobster bisque. However today I ordered two lobster bisque soups from them via door dash and there was large chunks of plastic bag that the soup obviously came out of in each cup of soup. I’m not happy and I wish I could post the picture to this.
We stopped in for the first time on New Years Eve. The website did not have updated hours and we showed up 30 minutes before their early close time of 5pm. They were out of a few items but everyone was friendly and walked us through our options. We left with four great meals for the family at a decent price. We will definitely be back.
The food here was decent, but the treatment of the employees here is horrible. Im a regular here and most of the times I have been here have been a pleasant and quick experience but after noticing it more recently, I have no choice but to bring it up. One of the chefs is constantly talking down to her employees. Everytime Im there she is directing and telling them what to do but isnt doing any work herself. The way she demeans and belittles them is very uncomfortable. And there has been more than one incident like this. I can name countless times where Ive come into Piada with a packed line and there has only been one person making food and nobody else helping them until someone tells for help and one of the chefs slowly walks over to criticize the person for not being fast enough. I could see how hard they were working. When I was a teenager, I worked many restaurant jobs but my manager always tried to build me up not tear me down. Im not sure of her name but I know that she is a young, skinny, African American girl who wears one of those white coats. I dont know if she is a manager but if she is, she is a horrible example of what a manager should be. It seems as though she is very young and shes on some type of power trip. She has a huge ego. Ive seen a lot of other reviews about her and none of them have got responded too. She must control that too. This situation needs more light and until something is done, ill take my money elsewhere. I shouldnt be paying 40 dollars anyways for pasta. I believe her name is Lexi from what I read from previous posts
Had an off experience at this location with customer service. Pretty much was completely ignored when we walked in. Never greeted by a single employee (all were behind the counter standing around) When we were finally acknowledged and ordered, one of the employees rudely stated I cant hear you. That was the first exchange we had with the employees. Now the food was excellent, but due to poor customer service, I wouldnt want to return to this particular location.
This place was awesome! We got there around 1:00 pm and when we got there we didn’t really know what to get, but the people behind the counter were super friendly and offered to explain their entire menu. I would definitely recommend this to any Italian food fan!! I will for sure be back!
Quality of service has gone down. My to go order was missing the chicken...VIP!!! I ask her to add it and I paid for it!! I am not in a position where I could return, so I just wont come back anymore. Tell your staff to be little more on the ball and friendly too for the customers you still have...
Prior to my doordash order I contacted this location with a very important request to not add bacon to my order. Given that I am severely allergic to bacon the person who answered my initial call instructed me to recall in order to modify my request. I called this location 8 times over a period of 10 minutes and could not get through. I then called from a entirely different phone line when the phone was immediately answered where I described the same individual that I had called minutes prior to make a request to not have bacon inside of my order. The same individual asked if I could please hold and the phone was hung up as I notice there was no follow up of my concern.
We found that the employees working on our last visit were rude. We have been to this location 5 times and have noticed the on our last two visit the portions have been getting smaller. But while sitting and eating have also notice that the portions for customers that know the staff on duty are larger. We have also visited two other locations Canton and Rocky River and have found these locations to have friendly staff and the portions they way we received on our first three visits to the Parma location. We were at the Parma location last Sunday August 4th
Decided to try something different for lunch today. This place is setup like Chipotle but not all the items are on the menu. I saw a woman in front of me creating her own pasta bowl so I asked about it.The food is very bland with no flavor at all. The prices are a little outrageous as well.
Impressive I must say, this is the best set up quick restaurant Ive ever seen. Menus for you in line with a rush. The food choices are amazing if you enjoy reading. I had the crispy chicken blt as is on menu. Holy shot!! Best place Ive seen in a while!! You must try it.
Love this place. Such great food, and the menu is probably weighted half super indulgent food, half health conscious meals, so it gives you options regardless of what you’re looking for. Whatever you’re getting, if you have the option of adding pancetta, do it. I love how crispy their pancetta is. And make sure to get an Italian soda! They’re so fun!
Piada is a new favorite place of mine. The food is reliably superior in flavor and quality, especially in comparison to most quick-serve restaurants. When I first came to Piada, I was expecting pasta dishes. While Piada does carry an angel hair pasta and sauces, I wouldnt say that this is where they shine. The set up is similar to Chipotle in that you enter an ordering line and can customize your food as they make it. The Piadas, in my opinion, are the best thing on the menu, and remind me of a pita. They have seasonal menus that change out. I have yet to have anything here I disliked. I highly recommend whatever tea or seasonal beverage they are serving at the time. Their blood orange tea was delicious, and I also enjoyed their hibiscus lemonade, although it was a bit tart for my partner.
The employees are super rude. Went to the other location before and all the employees were fantastic. This time not so much. When asking for extra cheese I got eye rolls and rude stares between employees. Definitely unprofessional and will not be back at this location.
Ordered through DoorDash this time. The order was totally wrong even though the attached receipt was correct. Tried calling and it’s all automated so you can’t speak to anyone. When I tried an option to speak to someone (that was a random option of something that did not even pertain to me) it just rings until you get messages that they are busy and to cal back. Can not leave a message for a returned call. Wasted money. Will not be ordering again.
Visited for the first time last week, at the Parma location. Wow!!! Excellent food! I took my teenage daughter with me, an annoyingly picky eater, and I thought she was going to eat the container and utensils along with her meal!! 😝. We both loved it! Will be going back frequently.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Ive never seen such poor attitude from the entire line. There was a younger girl with pigtails and a nose ring that messed up the order, and when we questioned if the chicken was put in the pasta she gave attitude and said it was. When we got into the car we checked the dish and there wasnt any. I proceeded to go back into the resturant was given attitude, again by the younger girl as she mouthed what the f*ck as she scooped a small portion of chicken and proceeded to roll her eyes. I am pretty sure being in the front of house that is not the representation a company would want. On top of they just placed the meats on top of the dishes. Beachwood is a way more pleasant experience. They mix the dishes all together so the meat is incorporated. The meat portions were hearty. This was HORRIBLE. We will not be back to the parma location. Maybe customer service and attitude should be re taught to this staff.
Third time ordering through Door Dash for delivery. Door Dash was fine, but each time our orders were incomplete and incorrect. The first time, I added avocado to a wrap for nearly a $2 up charge for a few slices, and a few other veggies. None were included. The second time, I ordered pesto pasta. There was literally ZERO pesto on my pasta at all. Literally no pesto in a pasta that has it in the unmodified recipe. Last night, some veggies were excluded from my wrap, and the Parmesan piada stick we ordered was pepperoni, not cheese. I am unable to eat pepperoni due to dietary reasons, so you can imagine the frustration of not getting what I ordered again. I cant say my in-store experiences have been much better either.
I love this location. It was my first time on Parma and I had decided to try Piada’s for the first time, and I must say that the restaurant looks clean the teamMember were nice and polite, but Taylor and Brooke were absolutely fantastic giving me suggestions, and helping choose the best topins and sauces for my Rolled Piada, they are a gem as a GM myself I would kill to have great managers like them. Ps. I love the music. Fantastic food. I’ll be back to this location for sure. Thanks
I see most people have a good experience here, mine was not. I was excited to try something new so I thought I would give it a go. My salad was mostly wilted and the strawberries had brown spots. The chicken was so dry I couldn’t chew it. Maybe I caught them at a bad moment, but it didn’t leave a good impression on me.
Eye figured I’d give this location another try since it’s the closest one to me but boy was that a big mistake. First of all it’s absolutely ridiculous to pay extra for a large (salad in my case) and receive a portion actually less than a regular size. Also per usual, half of the ingredients were missing for the salad which pisses me off even more seeing how expensive everything is. Eye also asked for the Dressing to be on the side to avoid sogginess but what did they do, they put it on the salad of course. The piada sticks were ice cold and the pasta was over cooked. Eye know I’ve said this before but eye will never order from this location again, the entire staff needs to be fired starting with the manager
I came here with my family yesterday. It was my daughters 13th birthday and she wanted to come here. All I can say is CHEF KIARA and HER TEAM went above and beyond our expectations. My step mom who didnt even want to be there ended up leaving with a smile on her face bigger than the birthday girl. Thank you for making it a great memorable moment for a big mile stone for my daughter birthday. Keep up the great work!
Took friends there for a quick meal to say thanks, was I ever embarrassed. The food was terrible. Nothing Italian about the food. My salad was made from old, wilting or near spoiled. It had odd hard bits that I nearly broke a tooth on. The pasta was limp and gummy. The use of corn was very un-italian and strange. Staff seemed confused and indifferent. Id never recommend this place or go back there again.
I LOVE Piadas, but was very disappointed with their Parma location yesterday. Ordered an angel hair pasta bowl with artichoke hearts, diavolo sauce, steak, calamari, corn salsa, tomatoes, cheeses - white shredded and feta The calamari was grossly over salted. I ate most and took the rest home. I bought a friend her meal too. For $40.00, I expected a perfect meal. I would tell them NOT to salt my food in the future. The restroom had no paper and was filthy. I told the help.
The food was okay. Alfredo was so bland it was hard to enjoy the meal. I’ll admit that I don’t come here often so when I do I don’t really know how it works. I get that can be annoying for employees that work there every day. But making me feel like an idiot and rushing me isn’t going to bring me back.
The whole stuff acted like we’re not from this world somewhere else this was our first time there today and one guy screamed about we’re being in the wrong side of the line we walked out right away but I did say it was our first time here but may be we are not welcome never going to go back again
Its all made fresh for you - and their menu changes often. The staff works hard to suggest new things, and while some of the staff looks like theyd rather be somewhere else, for the most part theyre smiling and seeming to enjoy their work. The sauces seem mayo-heavy so I ask for less. Theyve never had a problem giving me something special I asked for.
Amazing! Its literally an Italian Chipolte. Except we love this place way more than Chipolte. Absolutely delicious and filling! Prices are similar to Chipolte as well. Loved how the meat is cooked to order so its fresh! We ordered the crispy chicken BLT piatas and theyre awesome. The wrap is crisp and crunchy, yet soft enough to wrap. Perfect combination of ingredients. This is our new favorite place to eat.
Used to be a big piada fan but this recent time I was super disappointed. Not only was my piata literally half the size it used to be (they REALLY skimped on the chicken) but the prices also went up. So I got a piada that wont fill me up, with nothing else to go with it for 9$. Sigh. Wont be back for a long while. The piadas are tasty (consistency/texture of the pasta was never my favorite) but honestly youre better off going to Chipotle. Youll get twice the amount of food for 2$ less.
Wouldnt even give it one star if I had the chance. Second time eating here for my boyfriend, first time for myself. He took two bites into his fall avocado wrap before he found a small thick curly beard hair. Absolutely disgusted. There is a reason why people working with food should not have facial hair. Quick way to waste $20.
We walked in and told the young man at the counter we had never been here before. As he is talking and explaining one of the guys wearing a chefs coat walks up and dumps the freshly made pasta on top of the pasta that was already in the cast pot. He then interrupts the young man helping us to explain to him how from now on he wants the sandwich done differently. This guy tells him that is not how he was taught. The chef says too bad, from now on this is how you do it. The food pans were barely half full and the marinara pan was dried out and crusty. The chef coat guy decides to finish our order. He wants to clean the tongs off of feta cheese so he bangs if on the side of the pickled onions and mixes the feta cheese in. After we find a clean table, the first three were dirty, we watch the chef on his phone showing something to the taller chef instead of checking any of the food. The taller chef jacket took out a drill and repaired something on the side wall of the grill line. Not changing his gloves or removing them first. The dining room was not clean, you cant get the napkins out without tearing because they are over filled, the drink station is dirty. Maybe this explains the lack of business for lunch time. The only one actually trying to clean up, smile or provide customer service is the young man named Ariel. I doubt we will return with the questionable food safety issues we witnessed.
I had never been here before yesterday so you can imagine I was a little confused about the menu items. The young man who waited on me was patient and informative, and didnt make me feel stupid for not knowing what I wanted right away. A little pricey, but for a reason - its quality food with great service.
It was different but I wasnt amazed. the menu doesnt match some of the food for example the carbonara doesnt say anywhere on the menu that it comes with bacon , and the parmesan sticks were supposed to comw with a creamy parmesan sauce and they come with ranch i really wasnt impressed but it was fresh and flavors were good for 2 hungry people our meal come out to 30 bucks and I can go to olive garden for all that and get tons more food
I can’t change the name from my phone, but I will say the pasta here is awesome! Although I didn’t have a good experience, a manager on duty and what looked like a cook were very VERY rude to their employees. Was disgusting to watch the way they spoke to the other workers. Probably won’t be returning to this location.
Checked the website which clearly states that they are open until 10pm. It was 9:55 and I tried to go in and another customer were met by a locked door. 3-4 people inside looked at us standing there and did nothing.I live nearby and wanted something to go but they dont know their own hours so I guess I will go somewhere else
Ordered online for pick up. My daughter is a strick vegetarian. This is the 3rd time at the Parma Piada that she was given a pepperoni stick instead of cheese. How hard is it to put initial on the parchment paper when youre making the piada stick so u know the difference once they are cooked? Come on now Chef, train your line people better this is ridiculous!! Maybe Ill send an email to corporate, maybe that will help. Pay attention!!!
I love the food, but struggle with the value of what you get. I always leave not full, and it costs generally $13 or so for 1 piada and a drink. If either the piadas were larger, came with a side, or were a little cheaper so adding a side wouldn’t come close to $20, I’d be happier and visit more often.
I ate a few times and honestly I don’t like giving this kind of review but the food every time I ate was hard and old like, as if they undercook it or give you stuff from the morning, I mean how is it possible that I order 3 different kind of foods and they are bad, maybe i missed something maybe it’s a new style I’m not familiar with, their are plentiful of other restaurants I would choose from next time.. sorry and thanks for your time.

2022-01-23This was my first time going to this specific Piada. It wasn’t busy when I went around 3:30 on a Saturday. The menu is large enough to read and I like the variety of options. I got a regular carbonara, which tasted just right. My bowl had a lot of different healthy ingredients and I appreciated the generous dressings on top of it. The bowl was yummy and filling, and I had leftovers! The workers were all nice to me. The bathroom was clean too. I’ll come back and try the cannoli cookies; they look good!

2022-06-02The ambiance and dining room was clean and nice. Lots of space and tons of tables to sit at. However I was disappointed by the food. Pasta was precooked and it was so starchy that it was fused into one giant pasta brick. There were 2 employees who made the food while the rest in the back just kinda hung around and talked. When we got to eat everything looked nice (visually appealing), but everything was room temp. I’ve gone to the Piada on the east side (Chagrin Rd) many times and this location (Parma) falls short in every category when compared. It’s a new restaurant so I’m hopeful it will get better but I’m not sure I will be back to this location anytime soon.

2022-07-18We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes away from home. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! My favorite is Mediterranean Piada with crispy calamari 😋. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable and the best part is the staff especially Chris whose service makes it even more enjoyable!! 👍

2021-10-23Came here on a whim and was delightfully surprised. Very clean with no wait. Asked to try the chicken and steak meat so I could choose and I chose chicken....the steak was very well seasoned but the temp was not warm so the chicken was hot and fresh. Very good piata very flavorful and I have half for later. Try it you wont be disappointed!

2022-05-26The food is good. The service is slowed tremendously by the online orders being made and picked up. My family of four was the first in line after one initial customer in front of us, Our total service exceeded 15 minutes. Focus on customer service and we would be talking about a 4 to 5 star rating.

2021-08-04Service is so consistently incompetent it honestly makes me laugh out loud. Dont ever go here if youre vegan- no matter who helps you the whole staff always acts like theyve never heard of the word vegan and what that entails. They have vegan options that are delicious when made correctly but youll for sure still get cheese and meat in your food if you dont watch over them like a hawk. Not sure how this place stays in business with the kids they have running the show. Wont be surprised if they dont last another two years.

2022-06-03The food here was okay. The sauce was pretty good, the noodles definitely could’ve been cooked a little bit longer and the spinach was completely raw in my dish.Sprite was watered down to the point it was more water than soda.Other than that, it was okay. The food came out fairly fast too.

2022-05-26Went in today and it took 30 minutes to get my food. I often keep in mind that places are understaffed but the line didn’t move for 20-30 minutes. When I finally got up to the front to order. They started doing online orders. Leaving almost 10-20 people behind me in line waiting longer. When i finally got my food i was worried they gave me the wrong order because the employee was doing multiple things at once. When restaurants are understaffed stop online orders… the food was good though hahaha so that’s why i gave 2 stars
