Piada Italian Street Food in other cities:
Horrible, me and my Girlfriend order from here and the food wasnt great at all!! Our food was cold, and poorly prepared, we order penne noodles for our pasta choice and we end up getting spaghetti noodles instead, our order was also bag poorly, how do you get Alfredo sauce all over the bag and they didnt even think about replacing the bag. I will give this place one more shot but it has to get better.
Good food, decent service, but careless attitudes. I walked in with no greeting and little eye contact. Chef was visibly irritated when I requested extra topings on my piada. This has happened on more then one occasion otherwise I wouldnt have put much thought into it.
Piada is passable. I like the grilled salmon for my protein. I also mix the carbonara, diavolo, and basil pesto sauces with spinach on top. I love that you can mix the pasta and create how according to your taste. The artichoke and 🥑 avocado are some of my favorite toppings! They also have great Italian teas for drinks. The modern Interior is wonderful, makes for a great visit when dining in!
My boyfriend and I went to this location and we did an online order for pick up. The pickup time was 7:00 and we walked at like 6:58. When we walked in we proceeded to go to the pick up area. Stood there for like 5 mins until we got acknowledged by the staff. Turns out they didn’t even make the order yet but the app said the food was being prepared. So we ended up waiting 25 mins for it. For the actually order itself, I was disappointed but my boyfriend like his. I got a choose your own Piada with steak and he got the chefs favorite Piada with a chicken fritte. Both of them were barely room temperature and mine was so soggy from the sauces. Also wished they put more steak as I felt like I was eating a veggie Piada. Also they try staffing more people, so a few can focus on taking orders and the others can prepare the pick up orders. Will not eat at this location again.
I loved seeing the ingredients put into one delicious meal right before your eyes. The staff was friendly and made sure that I picked the best meal for me. The place is clean and they have an outdoor area and an indoor area that you can sit and eat at. I’ve only been there once, but I do recommend this to others who may like Italian food. It was like tasting a bit of Heaven. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy another bowl. The structure of the building is nice as well, it’s different. Go get some Piada today!
I ordered from this location about an hour ago they forget my steak that I paid almost $3 for my bowl was supposed to be straight penne noodles I had both I had cucumbers instead of zucchini like I had asked no mushrooms at all no Alfredo sauce at all like they put what we they wanted in the bowl and said forget it
Never have I been so discussed with a visit to a restaurant with the exception of the sweet young lady with braces on her teeth great smile . The rest of the line were rude as can be the people in front of me got over the top service however they were black when it came to me it was not very good my order was not very good Ill explain to management if they contact me . Ive been to this Piada many a time but will never set foot in this one again .
The employee who I spoke with was the epitome of rude and disrespectful. I had a curbside order. I sent a notification via the piada app that I arrived. Ten minutes later, I called to notify the restaurant that I was outside. The woman replied ok and hung up. Ten minutes later I called again and was told I need to come inside and pay. I explained to the woman that I was disabled. She replied that someone needs to come in and pay and then she hung up on me. I called back and the same woman told me that my order was canceled. I never canceled my order. Should people with disabilities be subjected to this type of behavior?
Be aware of long wait times and I mean at least over an hour after you order your food online and if you dare to go inside be prepared to stand even longer probably. The food is that good but not worth waiting that long thats just due to poor customer service lackadaisical workers on their cell phones more so than getting orders out the door.Doordash drivers are starting to get really aggravated with waiting over an hour to pick up orders not to mention the lines are ridiculous time doesnt seem to be of the essence when it comes to ordering at this establishment. It also seems like they need to hire more adults instead of children to help get the speed things up. Its almost to the point where I feel like corporate may need to get involved and look at this particular establishment. Not to mention the Worst service ever theyre very hit and miss if you place an order online please be advised that youll probably have to wait at least an hour once you arrive before your food is ready. Also if you use doordash or order through their app for delivery there has been a huge delay for some reason every time I call up there theres some excuse they have new staff or one of their staff members have walked off the floor either way it goes the service seems to be going down the crapper‼️
Ordered food at 8:15pm pickup, it is now 9:15pm and my food will be next after my fiance waited on site for a half an hour. I get being short staffed and busy but you need to be honest with your customers about times.Update: Our orders had no protein in them. Not happy. Ive supported this particular location for years but definently wont be coming back.
My server & cashier were friendly. My salad was delicious, love their creamy parmesan dressing. My salmon was cooked perfectly. I ordered calamari and it was very oily. My daughter returned it and they gave us a second order that was a little better, but still very oily. Ive ordered it several times and never have I had this problem. I Shouldve checked before we walked out, didnt feel like going back a third time. I feel that the staff should have ensured that it was up to par the second time.
We like Piada a lot. This is not one of the better locations. Slow service. Hard finding a clean table.Update: 2/15/2022We went again because we were in the area. In short, it was a disaster.1.Ordering using the app was easy – check!2.Picking up the order was *terrible*3.Actual meal – mine was good, but my wife’s was a complete fail on Piada’s part.4.Restaurant – Heat is *still* out. How long has that been? Three weeks? A month?Pick Up – The order was ready when we got there – I saw it sitting there behind the counter. However, could any of the staff be bothered to help me? I finally said to someone, do I just grab my own order? “What’s the name” she asks. Hands it to me… no “thank you”, no nothing!Meal – My wife got her normal salad. This time we added meat. To make a long story short, the salad was mainly lettuce. Nothing else, NOT even salad dressing. And as for the chicken that we added to the salad, there were maybe 3 or 4 shreds, SHREDS. And of course, since it was carryout, you don’t realize it until you’re back home. Ugh!We like Piada. However, I cannot stand the Beachwood location.
Very cute atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating options. Music wasnt loud and the drink options were refreshing and interesting. All the toppings looked fresh and appealing. The staff were courteous but didnt leave much of an impression. It wasnt bad service at all but it wasnt notable either.I created my own pasta bowl and got pesto mixed with alfredo. Very tasty and fresh! Just enough to cover the noodles. The roasted broccoli has a nice crunch, the corn salad is fresh and juicy, the zucchini and mushrooms have good flavor. Also ordered chicken carbonara with extra meat. The pancetta is crispy and delicious. Very big portions! The only detraction may be the lack of pasta options (i.e., whole wheat, zoodles, or different shapes). Overall a good dining experience -- especially when you use their rewards system.
The Protein Bowl was good but the portions were too small. It was like a Happy Meal! Id definitely revisit but Id order two bowls and combine them...10/26/21 Update:I received a reply from a Piada Rep in relation to my review; I replied back 6 days ago in hopes to schedule a quick Zoom chat... 🤔 Still waiting.
I HEARD THE young lady say 3x she needs noodles. The other white female cooking in the back with a grey shirt ignored her kept talking. The young black man with Chef jacket was too talkative. Cant cook Noodles So waiting for noodles wasnt hot at all. The Steak again cold though. I ask for fresh meat the same female lied said it just came up. Cold an tough no matter where state I dine at from Piada in Ohio, Denver or in my own state. The quality of food is horrible and always cold. The Eberry lemonade watery. I would never spend $11.91 Ever again. Hot mess I want smile no attitude. I pay high prices for fresh food. The Host Gili sweet and nice 👌
I have not had the food yet.. however as a dasher be prepared to have patience because I started tonight at 7:30p.m and they were my only stops right. Twice. I had to wait 30-45 minutes for my order. They largely ignored me as well. I watched several other dashers go out before me. Ridiculous. I actually dont think I want to eat here. But the lead cook guy was in good spirits. He was basically all by himself in what look like he training the other two young people and you know how that goes. Again as a dasher I might not accept another dash from them...at least not at night!
This Piada is one of the better Piadas Ive been to. They always gives me delicious food, and when they forgot to add my chicken, they offered to fix it with no complaints. And Chef Benjamin is one of the friendlier staff Ive yet to meet in restaurant service. Ill always eat at this Piada!!
Really enjoyed the food. Had pasta bowl with hot chicken and spicy ranch, and that is real hot. The Mac n cheese was excellent as well. Only downside was the service at the counter. Pretty much one person was cooking, checking out and all. Took a lot of time since it was busy.Overall, I would stop here again. Its a good meal with marginal wait times.
MIXED REVIEW - I found the food to be very good, fresh, well made ... unfortunately, the restaurant was seriously understaffed. I used the app to order online and my order was 45 minutes late. When I went to pick it up, I could see why. There were over 30 people in line, and only 4 people working - 3 working the front and 1 chef. The place was a mess; the drink/condiment/supply station hadnt been attended to in some time. In the middle of this, one of the front people left! That left just two workers handling all the food prep plus the checkout! One woman obviously had a foot injury and was barely able to stand. It was pitiful; however, they kept at it, no thanks to their co-worker who bailed. They could have been crabby, but they maintained their cool. Im giving 4 stars for food quality and staff attitude, but a manager should have been onsite to help them out.
I had never heard of the restaurant. I was at University Hospital with a family member for a outpatient procedure, which resulted in a heart problem that had us there all day. We hadnt eaten so I went out for food and there it was across the road. I ordered two Farmers market salads one with steak the other with chicken... Oh, I got a Honey Melon Fresca, Yum! The salads were delicious!! I cant wait to try other menu items. The only reason I didnt give five stars is there were a couple of employees who were not welcoming.
Slowest place ever waited 45 min for an online order once. Came back to use my $10 credit for the horrible service and the staff is rude- except the manager. He at least acknowledges you politely. Otherwise, they are so lazy and move like turtles and then give attitude on top of it after you watch your hot food get cold in front of you because they take their good old time and work on online orders half way through yours. Awful seriously I’ve worked in food business for years and this place is a joke
The quality of the food and service has gone way down here! It seems to me that the workers are not trained properly or just dont care. Every time i order a pasta carbonara bowl they never heat it up/cook it in a saute pan anymore like they used to. The dining area here is filthy and it looks like its only cleaned once a day! Whats crazy is that this used to be the better of the two piada restaurants in this area. I know the pandemic is still going on but piada you have to do better than this or else Im going to be going your locations on the other side of town.
Wow! First time at this location and very disappointed. I placed an online order and arrived a few minutes early, no issues there and the lady at the register gave me the cup for my drink and when I tried to get the raspberry italian soda, it sprayed all over the place and the front of my shirt. The regular soda side was a hot mess and sticky with lids scattered. When I got home, the order was wrong. I ordered the basil pesto pasta and asked for spinach, artichoke, and extra tomato and didn’t get any. The food was good and the staff was nice but if I go back, I will order in person not online again.
When I come to town and I want something familiar and good I go to this Piada. Its at the entrance to a hotel and you may miss it but the GPS didnt. Food fresh, chefs consistently working, everyone looking upbeat and helpful! This Piada always feels very upscale and classy. Food good, food hot, offer you items while you wait. I got their gift cards for moms day and its was a hit!
Chef Chanel is one of my favorite managers I see when at piada. She always have good energy, and excellent service I order the same thing every time I go 3 farmers with grilled chicken. She knows my order. I’m always greeted by her. Overall no complaints when she is there. I visited on 5/6/21
Food is great and deserves a 5 star review! Customer service is not and deserves a 1 star review. Wait times can be what seems unnecessarily long too. Even when you get to the register and your food is done it’s as if the cashing out part takes the longest because they move soooooo slow like they don’t want to be there and therefore they are gonna make you wait.
Great quick pasta dinner. Its kinda like the Chipotle of Italian food. They either have a suggested seasonal dishes. Or you can go in an say I want either a small or large bowl of pasta then add a way. They have salad type things too along with some flat breat type things. I usual get the large pasta bowl and a meat ball (theyre big) and some veggies and cheese and red and white sauce half and half (theres a spicy red sauce if you like). Its usually enough for 2 meals if I cut the meat ball in half and save it, but sometimes its just too good to save.
The food is good, employees are something to be desired...I will pass this on to management the person that 1st greets you should @ least be somewhat personable the interface of your business shouldnt treat you like their doing you a favor. Which probably directly correlates to mediocre management! Yeah I said it
Piada Italian Street Food has changed a lot since it first opened. The store is always clean except for the Womens bathroom (at least whenever I have to use it) and the staff use to be always on point with having all the delivery orders prepared, shelved and ready for pickup. But, now with all new employees working there to orders are never made on time and other Dashers and delivery personnel are just standing waiting around for OUR ORDERS TO BE PREPARED and READY FOR PICKUP. Another Dasher (who had already been there waiting for several minutes) and myself for almost an hour was getting very frustrated. The staff never came over to give us an update on the time frame as to when the food would be ready. They just kept looking in Our direction and talking among themselves. I can not blame this on COVID-19 but, on the staffs lack of professionalism, pride and respect for the public, their jobs and themselves. This store puts out wonderful delicious food ( per the Customers) but, they have no pride nor dignity for their ESTABLISHMENT.
They overwork minors and practically dont even care for your food all they care is about the money. i order here everyday the same stuff everytime and i always receive an order thats never mine. one of the female staff members are very rude and actually screamed at me to wait and shut the hell up for my order i was in shock. never going again.
Visited on 5/6/21 and 5/7/21 Chef chanele gives such great service. She is a excellent manager I watch her ability to multitask and guide the team members. I wish that all the managers was like her. Most of the time I don’t even like coming to piada because I feel like no one else cares about the service and the quality of the food. For instance if the food is dry they will still put the dry meat on my item but when chef chanele is they’re she will see it and ask for fresh and if it a wait she will let me know like hey I’m sorry it’s gonna be a wait it’s meat up here but it’s dry and I’m not going to serve you that. By the way the meat was steak
Very upset with my experience at the piada in Beachwood when I first walked in the male gentleman was extremely kind but the female there around 5:30 was so rude I got an avocado piada and she made it seem as if I was an inconvenienced to be thereno sauce, no tomatoes very dry very upset.
I almost never leave reviews but this place is a joke. Every time I order from here on DoorDash, the order is wrong, and every time I stop in, the service is atrocious. I get that they are busy with online orders and people in line but there’s no excuse for not paying attention to the people you’re serving or the meal you’re preparing. Train your staff. It’s embarrassing. The food is normally good though.
This Piada store has gone down in service. Today we ordered thru Piada’s app for home delivery and previously we’ve always gotten it within 45m of ordering. Our order arrived 15m late but overall it took an hour & half from ordering time. Last time we ordered the food was less than desired so today was a second chance — and we didn’t receive our calamari!! You have to pay extra for it!! And the stores phone number isn’t working so I can call and talk to someone. In fact I haven’t found a number for Piada itself because we’d like our account credited! We won’t be ordering again from the Beachwood site is for sure! Disappointing!!!!
I got the Bacon and Blue...With no pancetta...I asked twice and she said she would. At first I was having a tough time ordering because of the first three girls working on my order while working on the customer in front of me, they were also working on an online order. To confuse things more the girl in the middle of those two didnt know what she was doing and kept asking both girls on either side of her how to do things. She must be new but it was difficult to try giving my order when its divided amongst the three of them.. I was also working between them on two salads I was trying to purchase. Now down the line the other two on the line were trying to ring me out but I wasnt done ordering. I still needed two Padia Pepperoni Sticks and an order of three meatballs in Pomadoro Sauce. Whole explaining to them the additional items I wanted they got them but the meatballs were plain and naked in a to go container without sauce... Distracted by the two trying to ring me out I missed that not one of the first three put any pancetta Bacon on my BACON & Blue Salad. I told the other two at the end of the line I would like the Melon Drink that was back behind the counter. I meanwhile had to make sure that the other three got my Pepperoni bread sticks. When I went to finally check out one of the two end line people handed me an empty cup to fill my drink... THAT WAS BEHIND THE COUNTER WHERE SHE WAS!!!When I finally got home to eat my Bacon & Blue salad... It had no Bacon... Little Blue Cheese and was drenched in so much salad dressing I couldnt taste the Blue Cheese...A flavor as strong as Blue Cheese was overwhelmed by the dressing...What I tasted in regard to my salad could have been duplicated with the dressing and shredded crepe paper...They were supposed to put grated Parmesan on the meatballs but apparently the stress of putting the Pomadoro Sauce was just too much...I was exhausted trying to keep an I on all of the line workers and could have more expeditiously created the bowls had I just gone around to the other side of the counter and make them myself...My roommates salad was perfect since it was the first one and I could keep an eye on it. Mine being second and interspersed with three people splitting the tasks between themselves and the online order just turned everything into a Fuster Cluck... Fine food ingredients from the chefs (if they give them to you) but poor execution of the final product... Horrible experience...
This location has garbage service! How do you order online 30 minutes in advance and wait an additional 30 minutes or more once you get to the store for them to make an order. This is literally always the excuse of some time was off or we are behind because the system is messed up. They dont even try to make the order before you get here.
Visited on November 4 at around 7pm the only person that I encountered that seem to want to be there was the short chef everyone else was dry or seem to have a little bit of a attitude. I gave 3 stars for the food and the first person that took my order which was the short chef. The rest of the staff can really use more training with dealing with customers.
This is my go-to spot has been and still will be. Over the past couple months I did notice some changes within the service as of the past couple months however after speaking to the managers it was brought to my attention that they were training new staff members so I completely understood so far so great I hope they keep up the great work.
Food was decent, overpriced in my opinion especially when they try to charge a dollar for some corn salsa to be added to the BLT Piada. The restaurant itself was also a disaster. The tables were incredibly sticky, the high tops especially were very tacky. The pop machine was not working properly and spit out straight Dr. Pepper concentrate. The girl behind the counter did not seem to want to be there, even when I made mild small talk while waiting for the chicken to be made. And finally, the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting. From the walls being dirty, to the toilet seat halfway falling off. It needs to be gone through and cleaned properly as it looks like no one has ever attempted to in the past.
Foods always great. They just always forget part of my order or when I place an order online it’s 20-30 minutes late. Not sure if they need more help cause they seem to be working hard but the system just doesn’t work for the convenience they are trying to provide.Update: this order I placed 40 minute prior to picking up. When I arrived I waited another FOURTY MINUTES for my order. When it arrived... they missed three items including my sons meal and side. The total order was 39 dollars. This wasn’t something complex. They did nothing to make it right nor really seemed to care.
Best calamari in town ...... when they actually season it. On more than one occasion, Ive heard other customers ask for more seasoning on their calamari before even tasting it. Now I know its not just me. More lemon pepper please means I watched you & I know you didnt season it at all. IF my first taste of Piadas calamari was unseasoned, I wouldve never known how good it can be. It must be seasoned every time for every customer. Please taste it without seasoning. Customers shouldnt have to ask for seasoning & watch the cook to make sure they dont forget. Taste it yourself with no seasoning.
Staff was very unfriendly and made us wait for our food for no reason. Many of them weren’t wearing masks and they were working with the food. The ceiling of the building was leaking horribly. There were huge puddles of water all over the floor and the place smelled like mold.
Love the food the team members move a bit slow and seem to be all over the place. But the chef that was on duty was awesome she was moving the line and she also has good memory and she was very good at multitasking. She is a natural. I appreciate her customer service skills. I visited on 8:13:20. The chef was even helping the team members get in order and stay on track and still was able to get every one out in a timely matter. I wish more of the managers at this location was like her. You can tell that she takes pride into what she does. I didn’t get her name but she was the short lady In the white coat at beachwood Ohio location
This particular Piada in Beachwood, OH is decent. It could be considered rather pricey depending on what you are ordering. The restaurant is always clean and the customer service is alright. It seems like they have a high turn over rate though. Thats neither here or there though. The food is good with decent size portions. I have been to this restaurant a few times and will more than likely go again in the future.
Two of the workers today (young ladies) served as if they did not want to come to work today. Telling a customer you need to move down is not a way to speak to a customer. Forgetting the order as soon as it was told to you is saying you are not focusing on the customer. Today has been the worst customer service there . For the price of the food there the customer service given today is not worth coming back any time soon.
I hate leaving negative reviews but this is the 3rd time for this place. Every time I order online to pick up, they screw up the order. I dont have a clue what the problem is but the toppings are always wrong. Its really annoying. Like I said, this is at least the 3rd time. Dont order online. Or check your order before you leave. Or just dont order from this location.
I love the carbonara pasta, but the workers are incredibly slow. Today I was there for 20 minutes and there were only 3 people in front of me. I haven’t been there in a few years, but I guess they aren’t tossing the pastas anymore? They just throw everything on top. And they did away with the little bread roll-ups they used to put on the side for free
Ive now visited this location twice recently (and plenty of other times years ago) and both times the food has been good. This time I felt more welcome, and generally satisfied. I am surprised by how quiet it always seem to be, because this place is actually good. I almost want it to stay that way so it stays my personal spot. My biggest qualm is how dimly lit he place is.
I love this place! This is the only fast food I allow my son to eat. Love to see Felisha on the line. Even when she is the only one there to take your order and prepare it, you are out of there in no time. She is allows pleasant while under any circumstances. There is a Piada closer to my sons school, however it a much better experience at the beachwood location.
I will not be spending my hard earned money with an establishment that has unprofessional & nasty attitude having people. Leave your attitude at the door and serve your paying customers right, get their order right the first time, and make the food correctly as if it was being made for you.
Did online order, waited 15 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready before I was given my food. The staff person kept telling me they are working on it, which was a lie. They didnt even request my meat from the kitchen until 10 mins after my was should have been ready. Disgusted!
First of all, when I went to this Piada for curbside pickup, the pick-up order didn’t come until 15 minutes. Second of all, when I ordered the Regular Carbonara Stuffed Pasta WITH Italian sausage, I came home to find that there was no sausage at all in the pasta. I am infuriated with the quality of service that this Piada gives. They couldn’t even give at least one sausage?
Disappointed place has changed! Long gone are the Cannoli Chips & dip and have been replaced with prepackaged cookies. Pass on them, not worth the $$. Since the menu overhaul the pricing has increased. Food quality is still amazing, the bowls are great just not worth the $$ any more. If Im going to spend over $40 for 3 people Ill spend my $$ elsewhere. This is so called fast street-fair food? They have lost my business.
I don’t want to say anything bad about this place because the staff is great and it’s clean, but I only ate here again because it’s the easiest place to get food if you’re staying at Aloft. It just has that flavor that all corporate food seems to have which is kinda blah. Oh and I think they should chop the spinach before they put it on their pasta dishes- that was just weird.
Food was flavorful but pasta was very undercooked. Also, two employees (a manager and a front counter girl) were yelling and swearing at each other almost the whole time. Wanted a nice and quiet place to eat before my wedding dress shopping and this was Not that place.
The girl taking our order was rude and very unhelpful. It was our first time there and she seemed impatient and annoyed with our questions. It wasnt even busy. The food was prepared quickly which was nice. The piadas were delicious and fresh tasting. The pasta was served an odd room temp/luke warm and the alfredo tasted like awful jarred stuff. We enjoyed the Italian sodas.
I absolutely love this place. I found this place in Columbus and it wasnt anywhere else yet. My family waited until it finally came up to us. If I had to describe it to any, I would say its and Italian Chipotle. They have a bunch of different toppings you can use. They have these Piada Sticks that are to die for! You cant go wrong with anything you get! Its all amazing!
The service quality was unacceptable and of course had a resulting impact on the quality of the food. I contacted the company directly to complain and they said they would address it and sent me a gift card to come back. I appreciate the corporate response and when I go back to this location, if the experience is improved, I will update this rating.I did have takeout from the South Euclid location and it was very good. So it appears that the location might make a big difference in your experience.
The food was great, love the sausage, wanted a double order but they didnt have any ready. I really didnt have time to wait. I wish they served regular Italian bread or garlic rolls to accompany the pasta. I tried the garlic dough bread but it was not what i imagined.
The food is overcreamed and dressed, and extremely expensive, The people inside have been rude to me countless times for no reason they always behave like they hate their jobs. The exterior of the building is also decaying and has not been well maintained. The calamari was very good however.
I really enjoy Piada. The service at this location is what you could and should expect. What is stand out to me is the food. I particularly enjoy the pasta bowls. Protein choices range from chicken and steak to Italian sausage and calamari. The vegetables are always fresh and the sauces are very good.
The food was good. Italian sausage and red sauce are on the line, but not on the menu. The servers were not well trained, not knowing the menu or how to assemble the piada. Also they needed a manager to give us an empty bowl and carry out bag. There are many other places with better service
This place used to be awesome when it first arrived. All ingredients looked and tasted super fresh. The choices of ingredients were more numerous and varied. Now its very portion controlled. You have to constantly ask for more of a particular ingredient and try to rush you along their build board. I remember their crispy chicken used to be at least 5-6oz, now your lucky to get a 3oz portion. Ultimately you have to order double meat to taste it in the Piada (Italian for burrito basically)Its cost does not justify the product you receive. 3 Piada cost me 30 bucks, 10 bucks each for a so-so Italian style burrito
I ordered online delivery twice. The first time they forgot to put the chicken in my salad. I let it go because we all make mistakes. But now I ordered again and with a regular sized salad there are two small containers of salad dressing on the side, both of which are filled literally less than a quarter full. What was the point? so now I dont have dressing for my salad. Why even put 2 in there when you barely put anything in one of them. So thanks for ruining my salad for lunch on a 12 hour shift for the second time. I wont be making the same mistake again.
Just order online. If you dont order online, youll stand in line for a good 10-15 minutes while the staff ignores you. Theyll finish 2 to 3 online orders between every in-store customer. Either hire enough people to meet demand or go to an online only ordering model.
The food was good, however, we were trying to figure out what we thought we would like....the female taking the order asked my brother (who was ordering for both of us) if we had eaten there before and he replied no. When he gave his order she began preparing a large bowl. He stated that he wanted a small bowls but the female stated that they didnt serve the small bowls (even though there were both small and large bowls sitting right there) because the large bowls were designed for perfect proportions to make the orders taste authentic. This was a huge lie!!!!
This is one of my favorite places to eat. I brought a friend here, since he hadnt tried this restaurant before. I went in with him and the server was very rude and impatient. Was rolling her eyes and sighing loudly when he would inquire about a product on the menu. The whole process seemed like we were inconveniencing her the whole time, when I know this place can be better than that. I feel very embarrassed because I spoke so highly of this place and it literally got thrown in my face that night.
Love the food! Always good. Currently Im standing in line at the Beachwood Ohio location and the girl at the register and the girl in the back are arguing because the girl in the back wanted the girl at the register to let me know my order for pickup wasnt ready. The girl at the register said that I wasnt her customer and it wasnt her job and walked back to the register. Very rude. Trying to get a name but shes not wearing a name tag. One of the other employees came out and apologized to everyone waiting.
This place blew us away- we dont have these in NY but we need to- someone please make it happen!!The food was fantastic, plenty of parking and seating and all off the staff were very polite and friendly. We were super impressed with our meals and the ability to customize your meal. My favorite by far of the counter service assembly style restaurants. ❤
I like this location better than the South Euclid location. I think the food is a bit pricey for the type of restaurant it is but if you order a pasta bowl they almost always give you a lot of food, enough to make two meals out of it. I suggest using their app and you can earn points toward getting a $5 reward to use toward your next purchase. You can order online via the app or their site.
Recently tried it for the first time with my boyfriend👫 & it was so yummy 😋 ! I loved it. Its a lot like Chipotle but have more healthier choices of toppings to choose from which is always great. The only thing is its pretty pricey😰💸 for a bowl with no drink included.
Ordered ahead for quick pick up and it was a catastrophe. About a dozen people already waiting for order ahead. For 20 minutes only one person received their order ahead order. I couldn’t wait any longer so I asked for a refund, it was provided to me without an apology or regard for the long wait time. What happened? I’ve been here before and it’s never been this bad! Never!
Not busy at all. Did see flies flying around the uncovered food. I was downloading their app and the cashier seemed a little bothered as it was taking longer than I would have liked. Given the price and small portion size I should have told him to help the person behind me so I could get credit for my purchase. It would have been nice if he offered that as well.
Every time I come here for lunch it is a treat. The pastas are loaded with fresh ingredients and always filling. I have picked up lunch for the office a number of times here, and the managing chef has always been helpful and on top of things with handling our larger orders.
I use to go every week that was my favorite place till I ordered the steak and salmon and got 4 cut up rubbery pieces of steak and a dry salmon YUCK!! I even gave them another chance and got chicken and salmon still wasnt hardly and chicken and salmon was dry and this time no flavor 😑
The food is good, average cost, about 11 dollars for a piada and drink. The staff has always been nice and the place is clean. On nice days the breeze feels great when they open the covered patio area. I recommend the Italian trio piada and a pepperoni stick! They also have make your own bowl too.
Pros: Good stuff! A friend turned me on to this place a few months back and Ive probably been a dozen times. Fresh ingredients and tasty. And oh the lobster bisque is rich, thick and delicious!Cons: A good few bucks over priced for what youre getting. And a lot of inconsistencies in preparing your dish. People making it give good size portions, small portions, adding sauce not adding sauce, mixing in bowl not mixing. Needs to be more consistent.
Italian Street Food, genius. The bowl should be shared , its that big. Great dining experience, great sauce selection even though one was a little spicy. It was great. Beef meat balls a little bready but hey, its a half meat ball and not bad. Location is kinda strange unless they planned on only serving Eaton and Ahuja...I guess they could, two eaters, 28.00 for spaghetti and 3 meatballs ...2 bowls, 2 bread sticks , full bellies. Really really full....
It was dirty with puddles of water where it shouldn’t be. Customer service was not good for a new customer. Food was cold and chicken was dry. When stated chicken was dry nothing was accommodated. Go to another Piada. This one has gone down in sanitation and customer service
3 Stars because the food is good. Not 5 because the Head Chef was training staff and ignoring customers orders; it almost seemed as if he was purposely getting them wrong, since he told more than one customer that they were trying to get away from custom orders. He was also arguing with his staff in front of the customers. He got both my order and my wifes wrong; hers wasnt even custom. We didnt feel like fighting it, but I doubt we will come back to this location.
I entered Piada with the expectation of great food. Not knowing the service would be terrible. After waiting in line for 5-7 minutes with no one ahead of me the server asked what can I help you with? I was a bit Uncomfortable because, her attitude and body language was rude. As I attempted to place my order the woman said 3x’s “once this line goes down I’m going home” in an annoyed tone. I do understand at times we as people have bad days but, by no means does it require the staff at this store to be so rude to customers. As I proceeded to pay for my food The host snatched my debit card from my hand and aggressively swiped my card and handed it back to me without a thank you or have a nice day. To be honest the only reason I paid for my purchase is because my children Love Piada and I promised them dinner for having a great week at school. This is unacceptable behavior for an establishment and I most likely will never patronize this location again
My family and I went to the location on Richmond Rd. In Beachwood Ohio on 12/14/ 19 . The service was horrible. The two girls behind the counter were not polite, Very poor customer service. The worst part about was, all the tables were dirty and napkins all over the floor. I ended up cleaning off a table myself for myself and my family to eat at.
The service was terrible, I stood in line for 20 minutes the man that was taking orders left I asked the girl behind the counter who would be talking orders she said her. There was a line of people she never took my order instead she played with pans and the counter very rude I will never go there again. I also told all my friends not to go there find another on.
Been to Piada in other location but this place is the worst. Servers are very unattentive and very sloppy preparation of my food order. The food counter was very messy and dirty. Had to remind the server what I ordered more than once. I think they need more training and close supervision.
Food is great....if they can get your order right. Every single time I have ordered for carry out, they have forgotten to include items or the order was somehow wrong. 0 for 3 so far, just flat out unacceptable. And we arent talking about crazy weird requests or huge complicated orders either. Do yourself a favor and dont order online, its apparently just too difficult for them.
You definitely need to try this place out! It is like a make-your-own Italian food place. It is not a fast-food place, but more like a good food, fast place. My personal favorite part, is the Italian soda fountain! Their overhead radio also played Deadmau5 while I was there, which was a bonus!
Thank you, Alexa (?) It was our first visit and You really made our night! The panchetta ran out (thats what my dad was looking forward to for dinner) and you went above the call of duty by preparing some fresh. Not only was the food delicious, the service provided was great! We seriously look forward to our next return visit!
The need to make sure they are giving out the correct amounts of Calamari, We ordered a side and a Portion. When We got home our Portion had 4 peices of Calamari and the side had maybe 9. Everytime We receive adifferent amount, and only at this location. Please Step it Up!
For as much money as they charge for 2 bowls of pasta I could have gone to Olive Garden had salad, breadsticks, a meal, and a drink. Pasta is the cheapest food to make so I dont understand how they could charge so much and you dont even get waited on. The people that were serving seemed annoyed and rushed and there was only one other person in line. When I ask questions they look confused and again annoyed. Not happy at all with my experience there will not be returning.
We dont have this restaurant in South Carolina. I just spent three days in Cleveland and this place was a highlight. I mean - you assemble your own pasta. So much more pleasant that other assembly style restaurants, especially Chiptole, where they actively try and poison you.
Tried going there for a late dinner tonight. Got there at 9:42PM to find them in the process of closing and locking up for the night. Website and sign on their door say they close at 10PM. I guess their workers were in a rush to get home for the night. Pathetic.Note to management: If your lazy employees want to close the store at 9:42PM so they can go home early, how about you change the sign on your door from 10PM to 9:42PM?
Piada is a fast-casual restaurant serving build-your-own pasta bowls, piada wraps and salads. This location has a clean layout, plenty of seating and is easy to notice from the road. The staff was fast and friendly. I had one of the better pasta bowls Ive ordered from piada at this location.

2022-06-29I have been going to Piada for years, and my overall experience varies. The consistency of receiving what you actually paid for through online ordering depends on the workers there for that time period. It appears that staff switches out frequently, therefore, preparation may be inconsistent. For example, I once placed a rapid pick up order, which took an extra 30 minutes to receive. It wasn’t my order I received, but something that belonged to someone else. I always make it a point now to check my order while I’m there, even if that means unbagging. When this occurred, I received no assistance from customer service. I just made it a point to go to this location infrequently. By giving them some time to figure out the staffing situation, I was able to receive another To-Go order that was up to par. The service cannot take away from the quality of the food and the ingredients used to prepare the meals!

2022-05-03I like the Farmers Market salad. Very unique and refreshing. Gets pretty busy at lunchtime, especially when they are making online orders. I usually expect a ten minute wait in line at this location. Still, good food. Appears to be high quality food as well.

2022-03-13Placed my order at 5:47pm to be picked up curbside at 6:15pm and when I hit the Im here button, nothing came out. At 6:20 pm I called in and mentioned to the lady that I was outside and she mentioned that I should have hit the button and I mentioned that I did. It took them an additional 20 minutes to bring out the order. I finally got my order at 6:42pm. This isnt typical for this store to be that far behind.

2022-01-28Bad service taking for every. No acknowledgement when waiting in line. Very slow, management doesn’t know how to prioritize in store customers vs call orders

2022-06-21We ordered carry out on Monday night. It was a very large order for a family of 6. It was not ready when the app estimated it would be ready for pickup, but they got the entire order correct and it was delicious, which doesnt happen often. Almost every time we order out from somewhere they forget something.

2022-02-21We got two large bowls. Quantity was decent. Althougb they were very busy and a mishandled the sauces too much and my meal ended up becoming very saucy and salty. Other than that...good place to have a custom italian bowl. Also, their meat serving is really small. I had to buy extra servings.

2022-05-06Ordered the regular carbonara bowl with grilled chicken, several orders being made at one time. They packed it up I paid. And I was like wow! That was fast. Got all the way home only to find out there was no chicken. There were few bowls being made at one time. Chicken and no chicken, so someone got my order with the chicken and unfortunately paid for it. Too far of a drive to go back.

2022-03-01We usually love Piadas but we recently ordered from this location and the food did not taste fresh and wound up trashing his whole order. The food was inedible and we did not want to risk getting sick. It tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for days. We went back up to Piadas after work to request a refund and the clerk told us they would take care of it. We brought them our receipt and the food items we ordered and they took them, and assured us they would take care of it. A few moments later they called and told us they were not going to refund our order because we got it around lunch time and that it was unacceptable for us to request a refund after work.Normally we just take the L but the food was that bad that we decided we wanted to get a refund. Very poor customer service, poor quality food, and a waste of money. Will not be returning to this location. Save your hard earned money, your stomach, and your energy and take your business elsewhere.

2022-03-27I went to piadas on 3/26/2022 and chef Benjamin was amazing. We did two create your own bowls. The service was amazing, fast and food amazing. I would definitely return to this location
