People outside asking for change. Then found out I had to spend money to spend money because they dont take debit/credit but they do have an atm machine with a high rate to use. What liquor stores do NOT take a credit or debit card?? None that I have seen recently- not counting Phils liquor store. Rude staff. Place is a mess inside and out. Then to top it off I thought I may have left my debit card there..atm threw me off. But when I called no answer..even after several attempts during business hours! Had to go back up to store in person. Only gave store 2 stars because of the convenience. Its right up the street so I can just walk there. And if u dont have to stop at their atm it is pretty much in and out.
Great place to get your drinks on for sure. The prices seem to vary at random though. Im used to getting one thing and paying a specific prices. Dont like suprises lol
Liquor where you need it! Close proximity to Stark County Common Pleas Court as well as the Canton Municipal Court, now never leave court without having to catch a bus for you post court festivities. Not to mention, the daily patrons of Phils are some of the areas most authentic natives. If you would really like to get a feel for the Hall of Fame city head on over to Phils! Cant afford the fifth? They have pints and a variety of brown paper bags in all sizes for your alcohol concealing need! Phils Wine Boutique, weve got a brown paper bag for you!
That is a rough part of town and the parking lot has clearly seen better days. If your car sits low, you may to Uber or walk... Its more like a pot hole network than a lot in which cars park.
Only thing with this place...they take no credit cards. They do have an ATM, I rather not pay a fee for ATM....🤷♀️ijs
Downtowns go to liquor spot. Cash only! BEWARE!! The parking lot potholes may steal your car before anyone else can. Lol
The place could be cleaner but they always have what I want.
Reasonable selection, average prices. Horrendous facilities. The place is presumably quite profitable, yet the owner fails to maintain, let alone improve the derelict look of the building (both inside and outside).
Great liquor store. kept very well organised, good liquor selection. Quick access you dont have to walk a mile to get to liquor. helpful and knowledgeable staff. will recommend
Cash only,kinda aggravated cause I spend 3 to five hundred at a time
Small wine selection. Mostly liquor. Moderate beer selection.No one jumped to help me as I looked but the man at the register was still pleasant. Judging from the various handmade signs they seem to get a lot of riff raff customers.
Great selection of many different types of alcohol I like how they have them in categorys like all the whiskey is kept together ect the store is very easy to locate what you want very fast & they also sell lottery there so you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone lol two vices in one place 😂

The go to local place in Canton for a great selection of spirits. Prices are fair and there is a large assortment that is well organized by the various types.
Be careful of atm inside charges you twice but only give you what you requested..always check you account balance after using their atm

2022-08-13I am there at least once every week or so. Its a decent place Ill have to get a picture next time I go in there I wasnt thinking or I would have got one when I was there its a decent place its Indian owned the neighborhoods not the greatest but the people are nice. they do good business, State minimum, next time I go in Ill get a picture. Maybe two or three pics, I dont want him to think Im casing to joint so I have to ask if they mind if I take a couple pics. Im sure it wont be a problem, they are pretty good people.

2022-07-27There was multiple issues with my visit. Number 1 is that they only accept cash. When I told my finance that out loud in front of the 2 guys working the register they didnt say anything. It was a customer who pointed us to the ATM machine around the corner. Issue number 2 is they followed us around the store acting like we were going to steal something. We never gave them any inkling that about thievery. We even took money out of the ATM. Issue number 3 is we didnt get IDd. We are over the legal age, but there was some younger looking people in there, and usually my husband gets IDd all the time. Issue number 3 when we checked out they acted like they had an attitude with us. Very poor customer service. The customers were nicer then the employees. We will NOT be returning. It was dirty, dingy. I had to give 1 star because they wont let you give 0 stars.

2022-07-27I approached Phils store ready to support a local business. As I always do bcz Im an American. The employees were rude and acted like I was inconvenience to them. I was a little surprised that they did not except card. As my wife vocally announced with no help from employees even though one wasnt busy but just standing behind the counter. It was a customer who pointed my wife to the atm machine. I was about to abort the mission but was OK when I found out they had a atm. Then when the busy employee got free he proceeded to follow me around the store asking me if I needed help. Like I was going to steal something. If I was going to steal I wouldnt have got money out the atm. Overall the customers treated us better then the employees did. I will not be returning and will tell my friends and family about my visit. Most of all the dont card. I always get carded and there were ppl there younger then me who also didnt get carded. I am of the legal age but thats beside the point. And after I checked my bank they charged my card twice for using the atm!!!!!!!! Now I feel robbed.

2021-07-20Musty liquor store, cash only, atm inside. State prices are pretty standard. But if you look hard in the wine section you may find some good old bottles. Bc we aint drinking wine in the hood.

2018-01-06Good selection of spirits. The owner was helpful but needs to work on his people skills like alot. As far as the area, its not a place where i would want to travel alone in . Parking lot needs more lighting, it needed a good trash clean up and fixed up. The inside of the establishment needs highly updated, and cleaned.

2019-09-07There was a black guy behind the counter that refused to get the bottle my boyfriend wanted. I think he was being kind of funny but he actually didnt go and get it you can kind of made him settle for a bottle that was of lesser quality. And has a nice selection but watch out you might not get what you want lol
