I put my cats here for 10 days, and when I backed, both were sick, nervous and terrified, even one of them had nose bleeding!I had to asked my cousin to get them even before I return from my trip, when he was at the Pet Suite to get them, not only they were very unorganized, (lost the cage, even not marked or tagged) also I did not really find them patient and relax to put my cats inside their cage, I saw all on my cousins phone while he and me were looking for the cage when I was exactly in the Airport to check in my flight, I have no Idea on Dogs department, but dont offer Cats suite here. sorry
I boarded my cats here twice and each time I requested they be boarded together, one time I even insisted on placing them in the kennel myself and both times when I came to pick them up they had been removed from the same kennel and placed into separate kernels. The first time my cat got very sick and needed to go to the emergency vet because of the stress from being separated, when I asked why they had been moved the staff told me that they hadnt and were placed in separate kennels when they were dropped off, but I had personally placed them in the kennel so I knew that was false. They do not care to follow my instructions on how to care for my animals and their carelessness even led to my cat getting sick. After all of this they thought that a $50 refund on a $600 bill would be enough for me to forgive their careless neglect. I highly recommend keeping your animals elsewhere.
I left my 6 year old cat at Pet Suites for 10 days while on vacation. Hes never been boarded before so the first week was pretty rough for him but the staff patiently took my daily calls for updates on him and did what they could to make my cat more comfortable. I will definitely be utilizing their services again in the future. I trust these guys to take good care of my cat while Im away. I highly recommend their services!
We have a very nervous Rottie/German Shephard mix dog and we are boarding with PetSuites soon. I decided to take her for a doggy daycare to see how she does. The staff was very patient and kind to her, she actually sat in the kennel with her to gain her trust. I would highly recommend them for any service you need that they offer.
My fiancé and I recently boarded our two dogs here and had a great experience! The staff was very nice and accommodating. Our dogs are both rescues and one has very extreme anxiety and is very wary of strangers. The staff did a great job and by the time we picked them up, he seemed very comfortable and happy. I felt very comfortable leaving my two dogs here as well, the space was clean and up to date. The price was affordable for boarding two dogs. The only down side was the lack of communication. I didn’t receive any confirmation, updates or requirements for boarding. It would have made me feel more secure if there was some type of confirmation/communication between the staff and I. Overall I would recommend and I will be back!
Hit or miss if you get what you paid for. Been at this location three times. The last time we showed up and they argued with us that we didn’t drop off our dog. My wife was rightfully upset. Dakota(our dog)was there for two days and came home almost with the same food we sent her with… The gal came back and told my wife there was some food in the bowl… so someone must of known she was here.
PetSuites is wonderful! It has been a game changer for our dog as well as our family. Penelope looks forward to playing with her friends when booked for daycare and always enjoys when she stays over night when we are out of town. Each employee we have encountered has been friendly, helpful, professional and most importantly, loving to our fur baby! We truly appreciate everything that the PetSuites of Dayton does to make our lives easier and our dog as happy as she can be. We highly recommend their services to anyone that is in need of pet care from individuals that truly love what they do!
I really like this place! I was a bit apprehensive at first because of the seriously loud section in the back, but my dog went and had fun and came home exhausted and happy. We will be coming back.If there was one point of concern, it is how loud it is in the back with all the dogs barking. I think it would be wise if there was a way to add some sections or soundproofing to reduce the volume as I am concerned not only for my dogs ears but for the employees have to work out there for extended periods of time.
Made an appointment to get my dog groomed. The nice lady on the phone made it possible, for me to bring him in the next day. They are very pleasant on the phone and in person. Very friendly. Susi my groomer came to greet me, we talked about Charlie (likes and dislikes), and she asked what treatment I wanted done. She is amazing, he looks perfect! Thank you! The facility is super clean and fun looking for the animals. The price was very affordable. Thanks to you all!
I was very pleased with how great of an experience in boarding my dog I had with PetSuites Dayton. This was a first time boarding my sweet puppy, and she was so well taken care of and adored there. Thank you PetSuites Dayton! Ill definitely be using your services again for little Mal :)
Ive taken my dog here to stay during several work trips, and he absolutely loves it! He get super excited as we approach the building and the staff here are just so good to him. They even gave me a report card about his stay which was a great added touch! Im sad that Im moving away and wont have this kennel close by anymore because its a great one.
The staff was wonderful. Our older dog had some digestive issues due to the stress of being in an unfamiliar setting and without her normal food. The staff contacted us through our emergency contact number, told us about the situation, what they were going to do, and that we should not worry. Their main issue was our dogs health and comfort. They put her on a bland diet, gave her medications we had delivered, and kept a close watch on her. She had no more issues after the first day, but the staff kept us well informed. They also gave her some quiet time away from her much younger and more active brother by taking him out to play and tiring him out so he would not bother her. We were very impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. Lastly, they did a great job bathing both dogs. We will definitely use this PetSuites again when the need to board our dogs in the future.
I have brought my dog here many times, never had an issue with her grooming. My problem is the fact that I have to call numerous times in order to try to book an appointment, I will leave a voicemail so I can atleast receive a call back in order to schedule her grooming appointment and they can’t even respect their clients enough to give them a call back! This is not the first time I have tried to call to schedule an appointment (morning hours & afternoon hours) and left voicemails with no call back or answer. It’s highly frustrating and unprofessional. I will just take my business elsewhere so I can schedule an appointment for my dog without a hassle.
Our dog came home with kennel cough and urine soaked paws. They didnt give him any of the snacks we asked them to give and only gave half the wet food we asked to give. Then they tried to charge me the full amount after I was told about two discounts that would be applied at checkout.
I have been taking my pet for 5 years and have loved it. They truly have treated us like family. I recommended to everyone. However recent changes have not been great. Staff not nearly as friendly nor efficient. Certainly Corporate is concerned about redecorating facilities and putting in place policies that are more money generating. They are going to group play (all day just everyone is in a group play without nap times, I didn’t ideal feeding etc). That way they can board. more dogs. I have noticed the detail of instructions are not adhered to anymore. I found on last trip my pets food (which I bring already in separate containers (supplemental additives) were put on ( I came home with same amount I sent. Dry treats (box never opened). While I was told when I called oh yeah doing that. Bed not washed, toys not washed daily. Definitely Pet Suites is not as focused on the relationship with pets. It’s a shame my pet loves it there and I did as well.
I felt like my dog was safe and comfortable here while I was away on vacation. It is very clean, and has all of the things a pet could want or need. I also noticed that the facility has good covid safe practices. Masks on everyone and keeping distance as much as possible.
In the past year I have been bringing my dog to PetSuites for daycare or boarding, I have always been very pleased! They are very detail oriented, take pride in their care of the animals, and have always kept me informed if their were any concerns with my dog. I am always confident that she will be given the best care when I take her to PetSuites! I DEFINITELY would recommend and have recommended PetSuites to family members and friends! Thank you PetSuites for all that you do!
Made an appointment weeks in advance, then show up with our dog (who we already gave anxiety medicine to that morning) just to be told the day of our appointment that we no longer have an appointment.. Yeah... The only reasonable thing at this place is the price. Also, no idea why its so hard for them to change something in your profile.. Have asked on numerous occasions (at least 3-4 times) to change a phone number in our profile so they dont continue to call/text the wrong number.
We have used PetSuites for years and recently haven’t been happy but it’s close and the dogs seem happy there. We had one episode of kennel cough but they have us a free night to make for it in the past but nothing major until today. I just picked my dogs up and my little one immediately collapsed on the floor and start screaming and crying. I looked at the staff to see why me dog was acting hurt and their response was “she’s been doing that all weekend”. We never received a phone call or anything and no one even said anything about it at checkout until she collapsed. I immediately took her to the vet. I don’t know what is wrong yet but now after paying $247 to board my dogs I’m in the hole $500 for the vet. Who knows what the actual treatment will cost. This should have never happened. I should have been notified and something should have been said at checkout. They have kept my dogs for years and have on record that this is not regular behavior. I am shocked and distressed that they would be so negligent. My heart hurts not knowing.
Cant say enough good things about this place. I have two large dogs that I have booked here twice and they are always so well taken care of. They never come home dirty or sick, and you can tell right when you walk in how clean and well taken care of the facility is. I dont think I will be taking my dogs anywhere else! 100% would reccomend PetSuites to anyone that wants their fur baby to be well taken care of while they are gone! Also, their customer service has been nothing short of amazing, always very polite and thorough with checking vaccinations or coordinating baths, playtimes, walks etc. I dont worry when I leave my pups here whatsoever.
We kept our puppy in the kennels for about a week while we were on vacation. My in laws dog was staying there as well, and we requested that they stay next to each other. Every time we called before we dropped them off, they had no record of the 2 dogs staying together. The day we dropped them off we called for the 4th time, and the 2 dogs were still scheduled to be separated. Once we finally got that straightened out we left for vacation. Being our first time away from our puppy, we called to check in on him a couple times. About 3 days into vacation we called to check on him and make sure he was getting play sessions, they went to check on him and informed us they “accidentally” groomed him. How does that happen?!? I was furious because he gets too cold if he is cut short, and his hair had finally grown out from a previous botched haircut. After getting him we saw that they had cut the hair on the top of his head REALLY short, which didn’t match the rest of his body. To make things worse, we had my in laws pick him up due to a flight being delayed. When they went to pick him up the staff said he hadn’t been paid for, even though I had called the day prior to give them credit card info. I tried to call about 7 times before someone picked up to get everything figured out. They told me they did have the card on file after all. I asked how much they were charging me (because I had no faith left in them) and they told me over $100 more than what I was told when I dropped him off. I reminded them that they “accidentally” groomed him, and that I would not be paying for that, and I was supposed to get 25% off for being a new customer. I do not plan on taking my dog back to them, as they are clearly unorganized and can’t keep track of the dogs that are staying there.
My pup LOVES this place! At pick up, hes happy to see us, but makes sure he gets his lovin from the staff before he leaves. That tells me they are really good to him since he goes back to them right in front of us! Thank you for taking such great care of him when hes there!
The facility was nice, clean, and well maintained; but, it was not as advertised. Their website says the dogs have all day play but the staff there says 2 hours morning and 2 hours afternoon. The rest of the day they are kept caged. My dogs previously went to Camp Bow Wow and were utterly exhausted when they came home at night. At PetSuites, they acted as if they spent the day sleeping. I don’t think they are bad, I’m just accustomed to the exceptional experience at Camp Bow Wow.
This place, location and their staff are amazing in taking care of my Tammy every single day and I am picky who I let deal with her because she ismy whole world. We consider them all family. They really care about the animals above all else here. Would recommend this location to anyone for daycare, grooming, boarding or any of their other services. Would give way more than 5 stars if I could!!!
PetSuits truly provide a spa like experience for my pets. I was really pleased when we asked if we could come visit before dropping our 3 dogs off for a stay with them and Anthony said they encourage all new clients to come in and visit before hand. We did our tour with Abigail around the facility and we were well impressed. They have a variety of size and types of accommodations for my pets. They offer a very large suite where all three of my dogs can stay together. Everything was nice and new. We have used these types of facilities before and in comparison this facility was the cleanest and least expensive.
I’ve been bringing my Bernese Mountain dog, Reenie, here for several months, and she LOVES it. At one point I had to rearrange our morning routine, because she would refuse to come back in the house and would only go sit by the car to let me know she wants to go to daycare. Given her size and stubbornness, that wasn’t a battle I was going to win.Seeing how excited she gets when she realizes she gets to go, makes me certain she’s being treated well and she’s having a blast. She comes home exhausted and immediately plants herself on the couch to snore the rest of the night.I love that when I bring her in, most of the staff immediately know her. You can tell they all genuinely enjoy working with dogs, and they form connections with them. I’ve even had her do the spa day here, and she scones home looking so clean and pretty. Kudos to the staff who can get her to sit still long enough for a nail trim, because I hadn’t previously found anyone who could accomplish that task.I’ve recommended PetSuites to other friends who have dogs, and will continue to do so! I’m planning to move a little further away in the Spring, but I think the longer morning commute will still be worth it knowing how happy it makes Reenie. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her!
When my boarding plans fell out from under me at the last minute, PetSuites was recommended to me by the techs at my vet office.I was able to arrange for boarding over the weekend with a dropoff time less than 24 hours out. The facilities were clean, well lit, and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me signed up. Drop-off and pick-up went well, and my pupper was in good spirits as well.
I cant say enough about this place. Left our 9 month old bulldog puppy there for a weekend. First weekend away from our baby. We called every day to check in and they were so accommodating. Told us how he was doing, what other dogs he played with, how much he ate. They put our mind at ease. Wonderful, wonderful place!!!! We will leave our baby with them and them only for every time in the future!!
I had an unexpected business trip come up and located this business on google. I contacted PetSuites to inquire on general information and the young lady on the phone assisted me in creating an account and setting up a stay for my dog. Every aspect of the stay was wonderfully explained and it seemed they genuinely cared about both his and my experience. I would recommend this business to anyone who cares about the wellbeing of their pet while they are away. There is group and solo play times you can setup, and the grooming was a convenient bonus! 5 stars!
I have been taking my dog Watson to PetSuites Dayton for two years without complaints until now. In the last year, Ive also brought my partners dog Ellie for boarding stays and both dogs have done very well. They have on-site grooming which has been incredibly convenient. However, this most recent visit is why well never come back despite many positive visits.Ellie has medical issues and requires daily medication. Every stay weve booked, weve noted this upon drop-off. Watson has allergies and Ellie has acid reflux and takes vet-prescribed antacids. All of this was communicated at this visit and every previous visit. During our most recent stay, the medication was given to Watson all week instead of Ellie. Not to mention, when it was given to Watson, it was given to him with cheese (which he is allergic to). If the medication had been for something more severe than acid reflux, this could have been catastrophic for both dogs. While they apologized, we were not compensated for their mistake in any way.
This place is a big unorganized mess. Very un professional. Made an appoint when we got there they set us back home because they booked us on a wrong day. After many Phone calls got another appointment. 30 minutes after I drop my cat off I got a call said They would not be able to groom my cat because he growled and hissed. I was told the girl was 34 weeks pregnant and didn’t feel like being bit. so they could not offer me services. When we pick the cat up the cat wasn’t even attempted to be groomed. I do not recommend this place to anybody the unprofessionalism is unbelievable. Try to get a corporate number which they refused to give me. Please don’t waste your time or money.
Staff is very friendly and appear to really care for our pet family. I have come here for years and they have been good. Service does appear to have really stepped up with this last visit. They called us twice to discuss some things since our pets have medical conditions. When they forgot to put the meds in our bag when we picked them up they offered to come to us. Exceptional effort to take care of us and our dogs. We will be back for sure!
I would NOT go to this Pet Suites. I have been bringing my three dogs (my two dogs and their cousin) to this Pet Suites for about two years. I have spent thousands there. (I always get the Penthouses and extra playtime, I often boarded them, etc.)I used an online method of making a reservation for the holiday weekend. Because I had severe laryngitis when I was making the reservation, I could not call in. However the staff and I were corresponding via email. They informed me via email that I only needed a flu vaccination for one of my dogs and to electronically sign the policy document to confirm my reservation. They also told me that I had to do a minimum of three days for a holiday period, not the two days I tried to reserve. I emailed them the copy of the vaccination and signed the policy the next day. I also approved the third day.In each of my four email responses, I asked for a price or price list which they would never provide. So since I was supposed to bring my dog in today, I called in to get the price. The person who answered (I think his name might have been Matt, but I am not sure) told me that Pet Suites had been sold out for months, so they had no rooms to give. I asked in all these emails back and forth, why didnt you simply say that you had no availability? He literally told me that they are not required to confirm availability via email. That the online form is only a request and if I had called in someone would have told me that they had been booked for months. I literally have several emails and a voicemail from them back and forth discussing this reservation. I told him, if in any one of those emails or the voicemail you had simply said We have no availability, I would have made other arrangements. He also told me that even if they had room, the minimum reservation for the holiday is 4 days. (I have an email stating three days.)I should have known. The last time I brought one of my dogs in to get groomed, I gave them very clear instructions on what I wanted done, trim the feathers behind the legs, shampoo, teeth cleaned, nails trimmed. They took notes. That dog has gorgeous black curly hair. When we picked him up he was completely sheered all over. And they have lost my confirmed reservations in the past as well as vaccination records (in one case I brought the same record three times). Just in those cases the rooms werent sold out so they could accommodate me.So, in conclusion, I will NEVER go to this pet suites again. EVER. Their disorganization has inconvenienced me for the last time. Two stars because it is a clean venue.
Price was decent for the service. Dog grooming was priced well and done well. The dogs seemed happy when we picked them up with no issues. They have a very nice range of hours for pickup and drop off, but they will charge you for an entire day if you pick up the animals after 12pm.
We boarded our two cats there recently. The villa they stayed in had lots of room and a TV with birds and fish for them to watch. The cages on the outside wall each have a deep-set window with plenty of room for a cat to sit or lie down. Each window has a bird feeder outside. The cat room is very quiet. You cant hear the dogs barking in their section of the building. Its a beautiful, clean facility and we will board there again.
This was our first time leaving our one year old beagle. We were a little nervous but the staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions. We could even purchase play time for her which made us feel better about leaving her for the weekend. The kennels are very clean and are a safe environment. She had no issues when we picked her up and we even got a report from her play group that told us how she was around the other dogs and even gave the name of another dog she made friends with. We are booking it again for next weekend!
Let’s begin, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. My grandma and I had our dogs stay together for a week. When I went to pick up my dog, they gave us the harness and leash. We instead received my grandmas dogs harness and leash. Also, the ceramic bowl I brought ended up being broken. I went home and opened the bag and what do you know, it’s broke. I call to complain and get money back but of course they claim it was that way when they received it. Oh so you let my dog drink/eat out of a broken bowl for a week without telling me a thing? Also, why would I call and complain about a bowl that I broke? Do not take your pets here, there are better options. It’s obvious they don’t keep track of your pet and your pets belongings.
I was very pleased with my Dog Sophies stay at Petsuites. Everyone was very nice to me and my husband and Sophie. When I took a tour of the place it was very clean and that is what I loved about the place. The Manager was really nice to me. I could see that the Staff loved the dogs and was very caring and treating each dog really good. Having playtime with the dogs. When my Husband and I come to pick Sophie up she was a good girl . When He brought her out she looked happy and was Happy to see us. I was very Happy overall with Petsuites and I feel very comfortable knowing that my Sophie will be just fine and is in great care. I will definitely recommend Petsuites to others.
I placed my cats recently for 1 week. I felt the staff was very professional. I did have to pay extra for them to come out of the kennel everyday but that seems to be standard for all kennels. It was more expensive than I expected but so is everything else so dont be too shocked at your bill. One of the days my one cat did not want to come out and they did not charge me. I just felt that very honest and the rate was adjusted from my bill. From what I could see the place was very clean with minimal smell considering the amount of pets that were being boarded. Yes, my cats were nervous but I felt they were care for. I did add on grooming which the rates were comparable to other places. Sammie was so wonderful! She called me to let me know the one cat was not having anything to do with the grooming. I felt like she really cared and made every attempt to groom her. My experience was positive. I do have two dogs that I use a private house sitter for so I cannot speak to dog boarding. When I pulled up to the back area several dogs were out. They appeared happy barking, tail wagging. Obviously, people who take their pets there care for them as they looked healthy. I will use them again.
In January, I wrote.... People and businesses like yours who do a great job are rare, and have been in all times. Your clients dont speak, but they speak volumes to their owners when they come home. When you give up caring, you lose everything. I will always bring my Carlos to you. My sister will always bring Joey, as she has every other basset she has owned. We know you care. The fact that years ago one of your staff used to carry blind Penny around on his shoulders like a lamb, when she stayed there, made her one of the happiest and most insightful dogs on the planet. Stay focused that way.My review from January still stands. Your business depends on how you care for our animals while we are away. A man picking up his two babies Tuesday had a huge smile on face when he left. The sign of a quality business is how they perform during a crisis, and unfortunately you only give me 5 stars when you deserve 10! Well done.Sincerely,Charles Davenport
I took my 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog Sampson to Daycare on 3 Jan 2020. He screamed with excitement as we approached the parking lot. The staff welcomed him with open arms, installed his tag, and took him in. Sampson had two group plays that day. When I picked him up, he was as happy as ever. The staff checked him out, and we were on our way. What a great place!
We went out of town for 3 days and we needed somwhere to board our two dogs. We have an 80lb dog and a 5lb, and they were able to say together. That was really important to us. Our dogs have never been apart. We made our reservations by phone and then showed up and they had all of our information. Our pups came home and they were very tired and i knew they had a great time. I would take the pups there again for sure!
This is a great place to board your pets! They also have doggie day care 7 days a week! This is a great, well run place. I actually just got a job here, so I might be a bit biased, but definitely check it out if you have need of a place to leave your fur baby for a bit!
I was really excited about my cat’s stay here, but when we picked our cats up there were multiple items that weren’t returned to us, including their medicine. The first worker I spoke to said that most of the items were just gone?? But I’m glad that someone else stepped in to help and they were able to find each item and resolve the situation.
I have been taking my dogs to various PetSuites locations since 2005. They never fail to do an excellent job. It’s a refined space so the dogs stay in comfortable town homes or penthouses which are room size with real beds and tv. My dogs always return clean smelling good and safe. I drive very long distances sometimes to drop them there and I’m just grateful for all they do. The dayton location is new to me but great. I would like to mention especially the Indianapolis Fishers location. Those guys are absolutely wonderful.
I dont necessarily have a bad experience here, but its nothing above and beyond from a pet owner perspective. The last time I dropped off, they informed they changed the pet food (which used to be free/included in the cost) and I would now be charged per day, Is that okay? Well, for someone with a flight to catch, I didnt have any other options. Advanced notice of the change would have been nice. Overall I find their services to be a little expensive, i.e., $7 for my dog to play outside for a few minutes and not a lot of space to run at the Dayton location. There are rarely coupons for loyal customers and if there is a rewards program, Im not aware of it. I continue to go here out of convenience more than anything else.
I have had problems with this place before. Like scheduling an appt. And when we got there they told me my appt. Was the day before. And refused to see us. This last time was enough. When I got my babies back. They had red Marks and knicks on them. The lady didnt even cut one of my babies nails. She said she couldnt keep him still and he knocked her tools off of the table. They were kept there for like 8hrs. Apparently with nothing to drink. When they got home they drank down half of their water bowl in min. Im very disappointed and will not be going back there again.
We love Pet Suites in Dayton! We took our two year old golden retriever, Sadie, there for the first time this past weekend. She is usually nervous about new surroundings, but when we picked her up, she wasnt ready to leave! She was in such good hands and seemed to have had a blast! Well definitely be using this boarding/daycare from now on! :)
Overall the pets were happy & healthy when we picked them up after 1.5 weeks boarding. They were taken care of. We asked for an email update half way through and they did send one. It had pics and everything. I gave only 4 stars because I did have one issue. I had questions and they never got back to me. I was apologized to upon pickup, so I would give them another try. This place has been better than several in the area that weve tried.
My shy dog Alby had a great time at pet suites! I was skeptical at first leaving him there for a week after reading some reviews but they made me feel at ease once I dropped him off.i toured the place beforehand which also made me feel better. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they love animals. Definitely will use this place again!
After my groomer retired, I had a very hard time finding a new groomer that I liked and was close enough to home to keep my dog’s car anxiety to a limit. I finally went beyond my town and discovered PetSuites did grooming. They’ve done a fantastic job on her both times we’ve been and I couldn’t be happier.
I wouldn’t even give this place one star. I picked my dog up and her tail was all matted and she was filthy like she sat in her urine .Never had I had an issue with her tail being matted- like she sat in the cage way too long even though I paid extra for playtime that she probably never got.I felt so sick to my stomach when got her out to the car. They said she was shy and timid- never has my pup ever been timid so what other dogs and environment did they put her around? Not to mention she’s not behaving right.never ever will I go here again! My poor dog😢
Dayton PetSuites is a wonderful, clean and inviting facility. They are our go to when we have to leave town & cant take our dog. We love the great care they give and he is so happy he doesnt want to leave. The staff is extremely caring, courteous and knowledgeable whether we talk by phone or in person. I would recommend this facility above all others. Thank you for taking such good care of our son.
A little bit of a premium to other boarders, but WORTH IT. The place is clean and open when you walk in and you can see most of the operation. They take good care of your pets and I have never had a problem with the general well-being of my dogs after short and extended stays. Highly recommended.
I began bringing my dog Calli to the Dayton Petsuites right before our move. Knowing that the stress of the movers, boxes and chaos would be too much, I began taking her for daycare once a week about a month prior to our moving into our new home. She did wonderfully! She loves to come to daycare and have group playtime with the other dogs. She is also very very tired by the end of the day. I initially wasnt going to continue the daycare after our move but she loves it so much, I just couldnt stop this great opportunity for socializing, exercise and just a great time while Im at work. We are regulars now at the Dayton Petsuites and apparently Calli has become well known with the staff. The staff is always helpful, friendly and kind and just love to see each dog come in for their stay.
MY DOG IS STARVED, TIRED, AND BLEEDING AFTER HIS STAY HERE. This is our third time boarding our dog here. The facility seems clean and the people seem nice but we will not ever be returning. The last time we picked him up we noticed he was skinny but thought that maybe it was the stress of us leaving. This time we picked him up and I can see every bone in his back and ribs. His tail is missing the fur at the tip and he keeps bleeding on and off. We also found his bottle of medication with instructions that were written by the staff that was still full when it should have been empty by pick up. We also never got his bed back and when asked they told us he didnt come in with one. We will NEVER come back here because with the shape of my dog when we got back I truely believe they have neglected him.
My partner and I have taken our dogs, Ellie and Watson, here many times with little to no issues. However, we wont be returning to PetSuites Dayton after our most recent boarding because they gave medication to the wrong dog. (Full details below.)Every time Ive taken Ellie here, shes had medication for her acid reflux, which helps prevent her from vomiting. In the past, it was Zypan that needed to be given to her at meal time. But before the most recent stay, the vet recommended we change her medication to Prilosec. As such, I brought the Prilosec with us and alerted them that Ellies medication had changed when they asked for it at check-in.Fast forward 3.5 days when we pick up both dogs and the attendant noticed that the medication had Watsons name on it. Long story short, they gave the medication to the wrong dog during the entire stay. Had this been a different type of medication, there could have been incredibly severe consequences for my dog outside of an upset stomach and some acid reflux. On top of this, when they gave the Prilosec to Watson (the wrong dog), they wrapped the pills in cheese. Watson is not supposed to have any dairy, per his allergies (which we also noted at check-in).I dont typically go straight to leaving negative reviews, but when the mistake was noticed, it didnt seem like a big deal to the staff. They sort of just said, Oh wow, were not sure how that happened, half-heartedly and then asked us if we were okay with paying for the remainder of the stay with the card on file. No attempt at making it right with free grooming (they had their nails clipped) or a future coupon/discount. Nothing.Im fairly certain this incident falls under some form of negligence, so be wary when considering bringing your animals here.
The professional staff, facility cleanliness and customer service at the DAYTON Pet Suites is simply “OUTSTANDING”! The attendants are friendly, caring, and always pleasant to interact with both on the phone and in person. Our Brittany (“Denali”) truly loves both her overnight and day care visits. The various services and flexible boarding options are smartly tailored for individual pet needs and customer convenience. Of the six pet boarding facilities we used over the past 14+ years in three states, the DAYTON Pet Suites…by far…is head and shoulders above the rest!
Weve taken our two smaller dogs to Pet Suites once, and plan on going back. It is a little more expensive than what we are used to, but I think its well worth it. One, it seems like a great environment and the staff is very attentive. You can purchase extra play time & treat packages which you can customize for each day (i.e. if you drop off Friday night and pick up Monday, you can purchase packages for just Saturday and Sunday). Also, they did not come back smelling like kennel, which is always the worst part...In fact I think they somehow smelt better haha. So the price is well worth offsetting my guilt for leaving them behind. We are booking again with them next week.
Our two dogs stayed here in June of 2015, when we picked them up they both had kennel cough which cost us another $80 in antibiotics. also they both were infested with fleas, bad. additional flea medicine cost us another $37. pet suites claimed that it was impossible that they got fleas from staying there, yet they flea free when we dropped them off. so long story short with vaccinations before their stay, the cost of their stay, and medicine when we returned we ended up spending $635 for a 1 week stay all together. after being on and off the phone with them for a week trying to just get them to pay for the extra medicine we had to buy they offered us a $38 credit for the next time we have a stay! I WILL NEVER LET MY PETS STAY HERE AGAIN!
I took my cat to Pet Suites in Dayton. They failed to give her her antibiotic pills. I called multiple times to get an update, left messages and no one returned my call. I would call at 6 or 7pm and I would get the we are closed message when they are supposed to be open till 8pm. When we went to pick her up and the Pet Suites employee could not get her out of the condo, asked us to do it. Gave us only 1/2 of her stuff when she left so we had to make a 2nd trip to get the rest of it. I paid for 2 days of play time - if they couldnt get her out of the condo when we left I seriosly doubt she got that that either. I wont be back.
General Manager at the Miamisburg location is a liar and can not be trusted. We booked a reservation for late March and paid our $25 reservation fee. The next morning I see charges on our account for $25 plus another $294.50!!! I called and they said they accidentally charged us and they would refund in 3-5 business days. I got no call telling me about the “accidential charge” and they basically said sorry about your luck. If this place can’t be trusted with your debit card I would say they definitely can’t be trusted with your pets. We found Denise’s Animal House in Lebanon and that is the silver lining in this whole situation. Avoid Pet Suites at all cost and stick with the Mom and Pops shops. Better rates and much nicer.
Tried this place twice this year. Each time, they “lost” her food that she has to be specifically on. But the assured me each time that they only gave her the food we provided. She was itching with diarrhea for a week each time. Never going back ever again. For the amount we paid in vet bills, they should’ve never charged us for this lack of “care”. Don’t trust this place and their uncaring workers.
First time visits for our two. Disappointed their daily pre-packaged allotted food schedule wasnt followed. Requested 3 times a day and none of the lunch packets given to them. Said it was a mis-understanding however the box taken was clearly marked as well as daily food packets.
Petsuites in Dayton has been a great place to bring our 2 dogs whether it be for boarding or grooming. Our dogs are always excited to be there and they stay on average at least 1 time a month. The staff always treats us and the dogs great. We would recommend Dayton Petsuites to anyone.
I didnt bring my dog here, I live across the road and want to warn any dog owners who care about their dogs- DONT BRING THEM HERE. When the dogs are outside, it isnt uncommon for 20-30 dogs to be crammed into the same runner because the employees are too lazy to use the other ones. The result is a bunch of dogs that are clearly highly stressed and stepping on top of each other. To make things worse, the stupid employees walk around screaming at the dogs and blowing an air horn in their ears- which inevitably makes the dogs more stressed. (If any of employees read this DOGS HAVE GREAT HEARING) You never see the employees giving the dogs any love or positive attention. If you care about your dog at all, bring him/her somewhere else. I wouldnt trust those fools to watch my gold fish.
They had several dogs with kennel cough and never informed owners. Poor customer service on how they handled the situation. Shame on them since they are supposedly vetinarians who run the place. They dont care about the welfare of the animals, only collecting money from owners who have to spend hundreds of dollars for antibiotics and vet bills after their beloved dogs return from a visit there. Stay away!
I just took my 2 puppies there. .on the tour they made it sound as if they were really on top of everything. ..my dogs were supposed to be let out 3 times a day PLUS i paid for the extra 120 minutes of outside play time..when i came to pick them up (dropped off thurs picked up sun..sooo 3 days) they REEKED of pee..when i pet them, my hands instantly felt dirty. .their coat was disgusting. .it was as if they slept in urine all day and night. ..i really had high expectations. .but i honestly dont even think they let them out at all the way they were so filthy. ..
I strongly suggest no one leaves there dog here the insurance policy is a scam my dog stayed there 2 nights and came back coughing and making a yanking noise and they said if it was kemal cough they would not cover it we took him to the vet and it wasnt kemal cough but yet they still wanted to aruge with me on why they can cover it they broke there end of the contract smh never agian

2022-04-22Our pets have boarded here a few times before but this was the first time we have gotten our dog groomed with them. Not only was it inexpensive, but our dog (who normally is incredibly nervous after a back surgery and just having anxiety in general) went off with the groomer no problem and came out as happy as ever. He looks amazing and smells good too! My old fella is looking 1000% and felling himself too (came put and did a little showmanship trot for the lobby!Definitely earned my future business for all his grooming needs!

2022-02-20I truly enjoy bringing my pup Havana here. We have been coming to Pet Suites for about 6 months. The entire staff knows her and the staff is outstanding. I like that they have activities for all the holidays and she comes home with a photo or treats. I also like the fact she can get her grooming needs here also. She comes every workday and I really like the packages they offer to help on the cost. Pet Suites is great for both of us.

2021-11-28With the thought of subjecting my son Duke Ellington Spencer to the chaotic onslaught of family and friends during the Thanksgiving break, we opted to have him spend the night at the PetSuites of Dayton during our visit to the area. What a great plan! Duke had his first sleepover and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Heck, we enjoyed it! Everyone was rested, calm, happy and pleased. Hell, we even opted to get him groomed for the ride home! The staff was responsive to making sure all paperwork was completed in advance of our stay. Our local vet contacted them in advance to make sure we were ready to go. Everything went great! Tellem Duke sent ya!

2022-05-30The drop off and pick up were super easy. I could tell right away that the people that work here are compassionate and care about your pet. They asked questions that made sense so you know your doggie will be taken care of. The hours are phenomenal, I thought for sure they were posted wrong but thats what made it awesome. I booked less than a week before I had to leave town. When I returned my dog was happy and clean because we took as of other services. No matter what suite you choose they are going to take care of your dog. If I had to give any advice, it would just be on the web portal, nothing I uploaded was there so thank God I brought a hard copy of my dogs records just in case. My vet Eben even emailed them and they were not there. So maybe some more work on the technical side, but it didnt change my rating because Im rating the service not the website. It was awesome. If you dont want to be worried about your doggie or cat while youre out of town, this is the place for sure❤️ thank you so much

2022-03-27My doggies came home happy. They get carsick and dont travel well, so having someone to trust them with was a huge relief. Petsuites require updated shots, so I feel they are safer than a lot of places.

2022-05-14Sami loves going there. She has a lot of friends and loves getting in the water. I ask to send me a picture of her and there was no problem with it! Since she has been going there, she is a totally different toned down dog! The people that work there are wonderful and very friendly! Sami will be going there for as long as she wants to. She cant wait to get in the truck and pulls the girls to her play area in the morning! Thank you so much for making my best baby as happy as she could be!

2021-01-28Our 4 yr old (Rocky) has enjoyed daycare ever since we adopted him. He knows when he gets to go to daycare and will even whine with excitement when we turn down the lane headed there. We decided to adopt another puppy (Bailey) who is now just 4 months old and came to us very shy, with no confidence or knowledge. After just a few days training with Carrie, everyone (including our vet) has noticed a BIG difference! She now walks on leash, will sit and even confidently walk into the vets office (without me, due to Covid)! Our vet almost started crying, because she was So Happy Bailey is gaining the confidence, training and manners every dog deserves. Thank you, Carrie!!!

2017-06-25Weve brought our dog here three times and the last two times, he has come back extremely skinny with his ribs and hips very visible (pictures from both times attached). We left instructions for 6 cups of food a day, which was instructed by our vet for him to gain weight. He also had some medicine he needed to take while he was there and he wasnt given it. We were told he ate every bit of food he was given, we think that he was barely fed. His bed also disappeared during his stay with the only explanation was that we didnt bring one. The people at the desk were friendly and nice picking up and dropping off, but I couldnt say enough to avoid this place.

2020-06-15Took my 13 y/o Setter mix in for a de-shedding treatment & trim. When I picked him up he came out happy and not at all stressed. He looked GREAT! I could tell there were no shortcuts taken to get him tidied up. Definitely worth the price! Before & after pics below -look how soft & sweet he looks!

2022-03-18I enjoyed bringing my dog here for awhile the only thing that bothered me in the beginning is during the tour I seen one worker in the “ daycare “ with about 35 dogs which to me isn’t safe at all that was until I saw some things that concerned me more one the employees don’t seem very professional or seem to actually know anything about dogs secondly one day while dropping my dog off for daycare I seen a worker roughly handling a dog seems like they have a bunch of kids working with no real management around and too much on their hands I tried calling corporate but can’t find the number for them so I chose to leave a review instead I highly recommend mom and pop resorts instead of big names!!
