Petitti Garden Centers in other cities:
I have never been here before and it was surely a treat!!! I loved all of the different kinds of plants and they even had a little section that had plants that were safe around animals!!! The cashiers were super friendly! I signed up for a rewards card and I will definitely be back.
Great display of outdoor flowers, their house plants range in veriety and they try to keep up to date with the popular trends. Found both donkey/burrios tail plants, strings of things, ficuses, philos, and more! Talked with a manager to ask for a specific plant, turns out they cant get it but they were friendly and tried to help. Also sell pots & other garden accessories.
This store took an old building an brought it to life! My fiances and I had a blast looking at the various beautiful flowers and garden Nick nacks spread around the store. You can find some cute and practical buys here. Overall Pettitis garden center is a good place to shop or to look around to pass some time.
I come to Petittis when I need a harder to find item, that a typical big box hardware/garden store wont have. Whether that be soil amendments, fertilizers, pest deterrent, as well as pots and outdoor plants. Their prices do tend to be a bit more than the average store, but not by too much. The employees are always friendly. The store is always well maintained and stocked. My only real gripe- I used to love shopping for houseplants here, until the prices soared and the quality tanked. You dont get much for your money.
Very helpful and knowledgeable greenhouse staff ! You have to walk through all of the beautiful garden decor!! I’ve been a Master Floral Designer for over 35 years and also had my own shop, and I was overwhelmed by the amount of garden supplies! If you want or need anything Petitt’s HAS IT ‼️
I love Petiti’s!! The selection of plants, shrubs and trees is great and I always enjoy all of the home decor, which make wonderful gifts. Kevin, in Lawn & Garden, is the real gem though. He spent so much time helping me address our lawn issues and is incredibly friendly and helpful. He did a soil test on the front and backyard and outlined a plan for my husband and I to get our lawn back to its best state.
This place is wonderful! So much variety. The staff were all very kind and willing to help. Rose (the one with blue hair) was our cashier and was sooo sweet! She was so energetic and super nice. She also was very knowledgeable and told us exactly how to plant our rose plant.
This is a huge place. Their indoor shop meanders forever. They have many different unique items for inside houseplants as well. Their Christmas selection was really nice. Decent quality items. However, after Christmas sale was advertised on their sign at 70% off. After shopping, we found out not ALL of the Christmas stock was 70%, only the trees. Found that quite misleading. I will go back when things warm up.
Awesome selection and location. We purchased patio furniture and the manager, Rochelle, could not have been more accommadating. Showed us how everything worked and explained warranty. No high pressure sales tactics . Staff all very nice even on super busy in season days. Good sales and they even have a loyalty program that saves you some $$! Will definitely be returning.
Such a great garden center right on the edge of Belden Village. All of the plants and shrubbery Ive purchased here are obviously higher quality than chain stores. Everything is healthy and beautiful and theres such variety! During Christmas, they completely transform the store into a Christmas wonderland so to speak. On top of plants and shrubs theyve also plenty of garden supplies, seed, patio furniture, basically anything youd need to make your back yard beautiful. My only contention with them is their prices. Theyre outrageously expensive even when theyre having sales. Patio furniture tends to be thousands of dollars, and plants are anywhere from 5 dollars up to 60! You definitely have to weigh the pros and cons of the pricing but Id absolutely recommend stopping in even if its just to look.
This is a clean and safe shopping experience for garden center items. The best thing is that the landscape items are grown here in Northeast Ohio, not down south so they are already used to the climate. Proven winner items abound and the staff is knowledgeable. It is $$$ but the plants are cared for and top crop.
I really like the setup here; the way that they note the type of sun exposure is really helpful. I think their pricing is good and in some cases 25% less than the local competition. I will say that their staff doesnt seem to be quite as knowledgeable as those at other local places; but still very good.
Building looks great, however the prices reflect it. Very high unless they are having a sale, in which case it brings it down to a normal price. The merchandise inside was way out of line and not price competitive at all. Nice looking nursery and beautiful building though.
The place is absolutely beautiful to go into and look at everything. I have purchased a few plants and theyre flourishing still. They have me wonderful advice on replanting and caring for my succulents and cactuses. The only issue I have ran into is that the prices are a little steep when it comes to pots and accessories and the furniture especially is very very pricey.
Beautiful place in north canton. some things are a little expensive . but they have great sales. bought our gas grill there they have great customer service. Large selection everything you can think of and more for outdoor entertaining and deco. beautiful at christmas time has free santa photos
They won’t allow you in with out a mask- they are drinking the Koolaid that’s for sure. Do you really think the government cares about your health yet THEY allow cancer causing ingredients in our food? What a shame this country is coming to, once the mask mandate is lifted I won’t be back either. They just lost a potential great customer. Back to holmes country where people are smart enough not to ignore the mask mandate. And by the way, we are the first county to be in yellow, but hardly anyone wears masks!!! Think about it.
I have bought maybe 20 plants and two trees from this store. One of the tress died but the replaced it under warranty without an issue. We also found out on of the trees was mislabeled and was the wrong kind which they also replaced without issue. Errors happen and they took care of it without fighting. There customer service is great and I will continue to purchase from here.
First time visit, just looked around. Everything Is Beautiful and lots to choose from. The flowers and plants were perfect and almost looked artificial. Prices seemed to be competitive with other places. Cant wait to go back and buy some plants for this spring and summer.
For a business that prides itself on family, they sure do jack up the prices, only recommend the higher priced items and treat their employees badly. My nephew got hired in as a seasonal worker for the summer and started in late April then was let go in the first couple days of June. Guess a month and a half is what the summer season is these days. Good luck trying to find someone to help you out in the greenhouses, took us nearly 20 minutes to find somebody and when we finally did, she was very standoffish. All the home furniture and grills are ridiculously overpriced. You can get everything for way cheaper at Lowes or Home Depot. Only helpful people in there is Kenny at the front desk and the ones who work with the pesticides and soils, they know their departments stuff inside and out and can help you with another departments items better than the people in that department. Only good thing about this place is the plant selection but why spend more on the same product when its sold elsewhere?
Poor customer Service! Be leary of buying gift cards here! Mothers Day Card was a cluster to get honored! Receipt in hand and still didnt honor! Cluster to finally get honored and the female Manger was not very understanding and rude! Not worth a return trip ever again!
The flower shop is large and neatly organized. There is a large selection of of many kinds of annual and preannuals to choose from. There is also a large selection of veggies for your garden available to plant. There was staff that was knowledgeable about growing the selections we purchased.
I had a tree problem and spoke with Maurice. I brought a sample in as well..He explained everything to me, printed out all the info re: Fire Blight and gave me great suggestions. The gal at the front desk was sweet to allow me to bring my Yorkie in since it is too hot in the car!! He enjoyed looking at the doggie section and fresh baked doggie cookies!! All the staff could not have been any nicer & helpful!! Wonderful to have Petittis in our town!!! Thank youuu!
I expected high prices but the lack of customer service was disappointing. Only one associate on the floor along with one disinterested cashier made it impossible to get the help I needed. I left and went to Walmart where lo and behold I got the help I needed along with lower prices.
Great place I have worked in green house s before and this is best one I have seen and I walk Thur everyone I get a chance to visit best one so far lots if variety and plants well cared for lots if staff I wouldnt mind a job there myself I enjoy the type if work with my hands but usually its seasonal work but you must go there it is a place to be seen lots of furniture and Nick nacks also
Dont go in November if youre looking for most, if any, plant necessities. They have fake Christmas trees in 80% of their store, 10% is other merchandise unrelated to gardening, and 10% is given to actually plants, pots, and soil. Two stars for healthy succulents.Ill try again in spring

2022-05-27Great selection of plants and lovely decoratives for the garden. Unfortunately, they (like most garden centers) had a 3:1 ratio of ornamental plants to veggie/fruits. As in, there was only 3 (albeit large) tables of vegetables in the back, past 30 tables of flowers and ground covers. Also I was unable to locate the mulch/compost, which was probably my fault. However what they did have for veg. was nice and robust, healthy and pest free. Standard variety, though I did find some chocolate mint! The inside of the store made me want to forget the plants and spend all my money on adorable garden gnomes and statuary. The prices were high, but customer service was excellent. The lady checking us out was not only very nice, but grabbed a box for us to make transport easier. Very helpful and nice! Overall I will return.

2022-05-22Rochelle and the entire staff go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Weve shopped at the Canton location since they opened and have always found exactly what we needed. I was in their store today looking for a specific planter. They were sold out and Lisa asked that I send a picture of what Im looking for and shell make the planter this week. Great service and excellent service.

2022-03-13Beautiful displays and home decor inside the building. House plant selection is lovely. Every house plant Ive ever bought with them has survived. Outside during the growing season is phenomenal. The selection and variety of flowers, plants, amd tree is outstanding. Its hard to leave here without something caring your eye. One con is that this place is priced higher than say lowes and home depot. Sometimes I dont mind as I find things that those stores do not sell.

2021-05-11Amazing selection of all types of plants, flowers, shrubs, trees, annuals, and perennials. Likely the largest selection around. The plants are always healthy and do well after planting. While the prices here are a little higher you are getting a quality product. It’s can get crazy busy on the weekends so I’d recommend Monday or Tuesday evening after 6pm if you don’t want to deal with a crowd. They have a friendly staff who is always available to answer your questions. More importantly most of them know what they are talking about (compared to the big box stores).I would highly recommend Petitti’s to anyone looking to grow an amazing garden.

2022-04-12So I stopped in to buy a fruit tree for my wife for her birthday and a store full of employee’s at 9 am in the morning. I was the only customer there. No one even said hi or even acknowledged me. They looked right at me but no one asked if I needed help.

2022-07-11Ive been a loyal customer ever since they opened a couple years ago. On my last visit I noticed that their alocasias had spider mites. I discreetly pointed them out to the staff and the one girl rolled her eyes at me and the other lady just shrugged her shoulders and said so. I was definitely caught off guard by their rude attitude and how they just brushed me off.

2021-06-18We have been going to Petitti Garden for years (first in Akron, now also in Canton). The plants and flowers weve purchased never disappoint, our perennials have flourished and our annuals always steal the show. Theyve always carried what we wanted, a ton of options. We could walk around there for hours, and we have.

2022-05-17They dont treat their employees great, so I would spend my money elsewhere. They also throw a lot of houseplants away versus marking them down to pass on the savings to the customer. They would rather kill the plant versus letting a customer save a few dollars to rescue it. They produce a lot of waste by just throwing plants away when they could still be saved if they would just mark them down. Shame on you petitis.

2022-02-05Tried to return an item we were assured multiple times we could return. Every hoop we were given we jumped through. Came down to “not having original packaging”. The packaging was literally clear cellophane wrap. Big box stores are more accommodating than this. Sad.
