Visited the new store today for the first time. Very nicely done, well organized. From the moment we walked in the store to checkout, each encounter with the staff was as it should be....smiles, helpful, knowledgeable. Will miss Gales after going there for many years but can easily get accustomed to this nice addition to the area.

Just had Petitis put beautiful trees in that we purchased there. The installers were very friendly & made sure we were happy with the placement. Very, very happy with the results! Looks fantastic! Thank you, Petitis!! Wish I could post a picture 😁
Beautiful garden center with outdoor furniture and everything garden you can think of. Large selection of products, nice and friendly staff. Located on RT 303, next to the new Sheets gas station. You are likely to enjoy the visit even if you are not shopping for anything.
Nice selection of perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, indoor house plants and shrubs - as well as outdoor and household decor.
Lovely place, great selection, but you need more people working inside. I walked around for a while to get a price on a stone owl, because of his odd size, it wasnt clear. No one was working the floor inside, in either room, and the outside folks were watering, placing merchandise, etc. I waited until a kind cashier was finished with a diluge of customers, then waited again until she rang up more customers to call for someone to help me pick the owl up. Someone with less patience would have left, but I drove 35 minutes to get that owl. Just a suggestion, not a criticism. Oh, I was given 10% off because the owl I chose was bigger than most, but not as wide as the biggest ones. He looks perfect in my flower bed.
Very good selection of higher end soil and fertilizers. Every place else in town only has that Miraclegro junk.
Chelsea was outstanding helping my 89 y.o. mother by repotting her root-bound house plants, which provide her cheer, companionship and purpose. Knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful, such service endears is to this business, this location, and Chelsea. Thanks for the attentive customer experience.

Purchased cucumber plants 2 weeks and 1 day ago, plant died. I purchased 2 plants other one is doing ok. 1 day past return policy would not exchange or return. I spend a lot at this garden center. Not even a exchange. Going elsewhere.
I was welcomed and waited on by such a great staff. Purchased and had 3 trees planted by Petittis earlier in the summer.....NICE JOB!I purchased 2 more the other day and Im looking forward to having them planted also.

Great service! I was looking for Milorganite and nobody had it in stock. Of the 6 places I called, this Petitti was the only one to offer to take my name and call me when they got some in stock. When they called and I went to pick it up they were very fiendly and quickly loaded it for me.
Awesome. Good to see the Brunswick location busy this year. Much better selection than last year. Mike (in the nursery Dept) is the very best, and not just in the nursery.
Variety of vegetables particularly tomatoes were extremely picked over. They had absolutely no Roma tomatoes and informed us to come back the following week to see if they might get some more
It’s no longer a garden center, it’s more of an “Outdoor Destination”. The plant selection is pedantic and overpriced, heavy on petunias and geranium and lacking the variety of unique annuals and perennials long held by Gale’s. There’s nothing here that you can’t get down the street at Home Depot for less. The layout forces you to walk completely through their furniture section in order to get to the plants so you can’t just walk to the section of the store that has whatever you need. I will be building a new relationship with another store.
Loved this place for years but their employees can be rude. Speaking of the ones by the cashier. The lady telling the cashier what people bought (shoulder blond 80s hair curly mid age) talked about her 2 previous customers negatively to the other cashiers in front of customers. I had a very large order and one item had no tag. They wouldnt sell it to me because it was part of a set yet there were many others just like it with a tag. So I bought THE EXACT SAME ITEM with a tag on it. After associate announced loudly to all that the liners with no tag are part of a display. I kindly pointed out that the exact same liner is back there with a tag and she rolled her eyes at me. Going out of business must make their employees forget that customer service still matters. Not all of their associates are like that just the few women in the front lines.
Highly disappointing trip . I went there to buy my usual fair I would get at Gales . They don’t offer any amended organic soils like Fox farms or Happy Frog or Black Gold . It’s all chemical laden Miracle grow , osmocote, or store brand that don’t tell you what’s in it other than peat.Good place for people that want widgets and bird feeders and furniture. No longer a place for Gardner’s especially organic Gardner’s. Thanks but no thanks to chemical laden vegetable harvests. Prices are steap also . Sad to see a good mom and pop place get gobbled up by a commercial giant. Lady at the store said everyone was asking for this soil manager won’t order it . I went to spend the usual couple hundred I do in spring walked out with nothing.I never went to petitis strongsville and I’m happy I never did . Still so Pissed off I wasted my time I wrote this 3 hours later .

Very good selection of plants, mulch, tools, etc. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and the prices seemed in line with other nurseries in the area, maybe a little more expensive.
When I go to a garden center, Im looking for seeds, seedlings, a wide variety of reasonably priced plants, and basic, sturdy gardening supplies. Maybe the occasional bird house or something. What I am not looking for is a showroom of expensive, decorative stuff - often made of synthetics that are NOT better for nature - to make my yard feel like a living room for all that time I dont have to lounge around. Unfortunately, Petittis and I are not on the same page. I will be on the hunt for someplace that can replace the relationship I had with Gales.
Selection is a 2. Discounts, if you find them, a 5plus. Staff is so so. Some are wonderful, helpful, friendly. Others seem as if they are bothered by simple questions and have an almost hostile demeanor.
We were looking for a pear tree for a house warming gift. We got a beautiful Kieffer pear tree, and the new home owner was extremely pleased!
Great little place, during the winter months they usually still have a good selection of seeds and indoor plants. After spring hits they have a huge selection

2019-08-31Today was probably my best experience at Petittis Garden..knowledgeable, and nice! Who would of thought that that is the exception and not the rule. I left with exactly what I needed and am very pleased that this store opened.

2021-07-17Love the great assortment .Sad the perennials only 30 day return .Bought 2 rock sedum at 25.00 each 1st one. Died in 3 weeks and returned with store credit .Second one died 2 weeks later and was unable to return for credit .Never had sedum die on me before.2 false sunflowers never came back up from last year .Dont know about their perennials.

2022-01-16Very knowledgeable people, all you have to do is ask questions and they will point you in the right direction. I thought, Better quality than Home Depot or Lowes for most things but they are a little expensive.. Until I saw all the American flags are made in China so were the poles, and the posts that go with it..
