Pet Fix is absolutely the #1 place to go! Staffing was so genuine and friendly and was very educating for me on the steps before, during and after operation, even what to do in the near/far future! This was my first experience with my own pup and I would never go anywhere else, 11/10 and I thank everyone who tended to my puppy Luna today. She left in GREAT spirits, smiling and was actually sad when we said goodbye & her RVT walked away! I can not speak more highly of the team here and will forever recommend. Thank you Pet Fix staff!
This place is amazing. What they do for the public is a God send. I brought in two kittens that ate strays to get fixes. 30.00 each! Got flea treatment and 1st shots plus rabies. Under 100.00 for both. I gave a donation on top of the total price. They are doing everyone a huge favor. Big hearts.
Great experience. Excellent communication. Took my dog for neutering on July 9th. Arrived at 8:15- check in process was very smooth and quick. He was ready at 10:20. Got super clear post-op instructions. I emailed a question a few days later and received a prompt response and offer to bring my dog in. I was reassured that all was well- via email. The cost is very low and the service and customer service is top notch!
Took my male cat here to get fixed. The staff was extremely nice and took very good care of our little man. No problem with the incision site, no complications. I opted for the works, rabies vaccine, FVRV shot, and a nail trim. It was $78 out the door. Check in wasnt too bad, we got there 15 minutes early and he was ready around 1pm. He was groggy for a few days but returned to his normal self. Very clean facility. I will be booking an apt to get my female cat fixed as well. If youre looking for an affordable place that will take awesome care of your fur children, this is the one. Thank you Petfix!
Check in was a bit hectic but thats to be expected. Staff was very friendly and took great care of my kitten. He was neutered two days ago and he was back to himself the same night. No issues so far and it is healing great. Prices are so much better than going to a typical vets office.
The whe experience exceeded my expectations. They were able to get me an appointment and then got my girl in faster with a cancelation. They answered questions gave clear instructions in writing. Our dog went thru spaying with flying colors. She was hardly stressed at all though she went to a place she had never been. We got good reminders etc and I highly recommend them.
I recently got my two kittens neutered here last week. They healed up great and I was given detailed instructions on getting them home and post op care. No complaints as far as the services. My only issue is that I was told that morning that I would be called when they were ready to go home, sometime after 3:30 and they had to be picked up by 4:30. By 4, no one called me, so I called and was told all cats were ready to picked up. Because of the delay, by the time I got there, they had been in their carriers for an hour, causing one of them to pee on himself and the blanket, and sit in it for the ride home as well. So my only advice, be there as early as you can to pick up, so your animals aren’t left in a carrier without a litter box or water for an extended time.
Horrible rude woman who aswered the phone. I attempted to book an appointment for my pet. She continuously spoke down to me and acted like I was not worth her time. I did not make an appointment. I will never make an appointment. Her behavior on the phone indicated to me a careless attitude which must be the standard of the entire staff. I will not submit my pets to inconsiderate medical care of ANY type.
Low cost spay/neuter for ferals and household pets. Make sure to go to their website to make pet appointments and to see all times for pick-up/drop-off and pre-op instructions. Everyone there was genuinely kind and caring for pets and they run on donations to offer such low prices. Also, if you get any kind of government assistance let them know because they offer discounts if they have funding available to help you out.
An excellent place to spay or neuter your dog or cat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A LOT less expensive than having my vet do it! My cat recovered just fine, and in a few days, with the exception of having a shaved belly, you couldnt even tell she had operation. Excellent job!
I highly recommend. PetFix. I had my 1 year old American Eskimo spayed there on Friday, 1/31. The whole process, start to finish, went fantastic. When I dropped her off in the morning at 8:30, there were about 15 people in front of me in line (some from Perry and Mentor and some having had multiple animals fixed there) They had clipboards out on a table to fill out while you wait. 2 staff members were checking people in, while other staff brought the dogs in separately. Check-in was quick and efficient. My dog was ready by 1:00. They let me in the back to get her out of the cage. It was very clean and each dog had a lavender scented towel in the cage with them. They gave me pain medicine to take home and a surgical collar, included in the $85 price. So far recovery has been great. The incision is tiny, 1/4 inch, and she hasnt even needed the collar, cuz shes not licking it. Thank you, PetFix. You saved me $300 compared to my Veterinarians charge. What a fantastic, affordable and reputable facility!! Linda C., Wickliffe
They do great things here. Each staff member treats your pet as if it was their own. They go over after care directions with you and provide you with instructions on care and where to call.As far as helping the community they assist in helping strays find homes by fixing them while they are in the kennels. The prices are exceptional low. $300 cheaper then my vet. They were welcoming and warm.
Great experience with my Cavachon. Very easy process registering when we came in. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I had one question about a week after her surgery and a tech was very helpful and even told me that I could bring her in if needed. Surgery went very well, zero issues after. Highly recommend! Also nonprofit, so what you pay is helping others who are maybe not as fortunate as those who can.
Im not a vet but their work seems good no complications with my pet. Thank you. Their pricing by far is better than any over priced veterinary office. Had all records and paperwork done and in order and in and out within 4 hours. Appointments are necessary and weeks out there being they are very busy. Only drawbacks are, I understand they are busy but it does not make it right, feces seems to be smeared on the floor just after noon time. The location is not the worst but it surely is not the best. Staff is very patient and friendly. Thank you.
My wife and cats. To make long story short. Took over 15 feral cats here for TNR. Much easier than APL (not dissing them they do great work) VERY cost effective! Had 3 house cats fixed here and very happy with service. Just make your appointment. Chech out services offered on the site. Here is one of their clients.
This was the highest level of professionalism one could expect. In these times with COVID nothing is easy. From the time we pulled into the parking lot until the time we picked up our two cats they were flawless. Our cats bounced back so fast within 12 hours we couldnt tell they had surgery. I highly recommend them. Amazing team.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and communicated well. I had a question prior to my puppy being spade and received a quick response. I also called a couple of days after her surgery with a concern. The staff had me take a photo of her incision and responded quickly. Overall, I was quite pleased with our experience.
Very great place to take your pet!! Extremely affordable!!! My little girl was very well taken care of and her recovery went very smooth. They were very informative and extremely friendly here!! She is a 13 lb dachshund mix and has a hernia that wasnt able to be fixed and they refunded me for that part of the procedure!! Very nice looking place!! I would highly recommend this facility especially to someone who cant afford to get your pet fixed!!
Theyre very good with animals. I got 4 cats spayed and neutered there. They all came home within a couple of hours after surgery and didnt have any complications. My girls had pyometra and they only charged a little extra because thats more complicated. All in all, happy healthy kitties and no problems. I love the fact that they have the cats come in first then dogs so theyre not so stressed out. Also separate entrances to prevent altercations. Very caring group of people there.
Excellent experience! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the parking situation. Maybe they could stagger drop off times to alleviate some of the congestion. My almost 6 month old puppy was spayed here. Staff was friendly, post-op instructions were clear. I had a concern the night of surgery. I called and a vet called me back IMMEDIATELY. We discussed my concerns. She had me email some pics to review & assured me that all was well.If youre seeking a low cost spay/neuter clinic, definitely try PetFix. Low cost DOES NOT equal low quality! Im pleased with my decision & the care my girl received.
Great organization! We rescued a young cat that appeared starving and freezing last winter. Before we knew it we had four cats. Yes she delivered kittens. Without PetFix I dont know we would have done as we would not have been able to spay four cats and all the shots. Staff and service is wonderful. Thank you
I brought my cat to be fixed here yesterday, the staff are super sweet and I adore them. The lady who took my cat back yesterday was real nice, and was good when I told her information regarding my cat. After I picked her from surgery, she was wobbly and had a hard time walking which concerned be. But now she’s fine, she was eating here and there. But now she’s recovering, and keeping the incision site checked daily. Now she’s walking normally, eating, and using the litter box!The staff are some of the best staff you’ll ever find. I highly recommend this place! Any cats I have in the future will definitely come here.
PetFix did a wonderful job taking care of my kitty Lucy. The incision was much smaller than I had imagined, and healed very quickly (completely healed within 2 weeks). At first I was worried about her jumping around and opening the incision, but we never had an issue. She did not even need to wear an e-collar, which saved both of us a lot of stress. The facility itself is clean and up to date, and the logistics of pick up and drop off was quick and well-organized. The employees were kind and reassuring. I would definitely use PetFix’s services again for my future pets. It may be low cost, but the quality is comparable if not better than a regular vet clinic.
Be Careful!Took my pup in to be spayed at first everything seemed to be fine, until 2 days later. She had the shakes and refused to eat, I called the number on the paper and had to wait for a return call. I was informed by the owner Dr. Johnston that my dog may be having a reaction to the pain meds. He shaking seemed to have subsided for a day but returned with a vengeance by the following Monday, by midnight my pup was shaking uncontrollably and vomiting. I called pet fix they told me to take her to the vet for care ($) I took her to the vet they performed an X-ray ($) couldn’t find anything. By time we hour our pup home all the while still shaking she vomited and blood was present. We called emergency and was told to bring her in. She was kept over night for observation ($$$$) then we were advised she needed emergency surgery ($$$$$$$$$) why?? Because the doctor at Pet fix left tissue behind that was tied off and the tissue died thus causing a septic stomach. My pup had to be cut open and cleaned out. They essentially left a piece of tissue behind that didn’t belong (why take the ovaries and not the uterus, makes no sense and leaves room for infection) Had we not had the surgery our pup had a 10% chance of survival. This cost us $6,531.40! They told us to file a claim with their insurance company, that was a joke. They waited 3 months to deny it. Saying this type of infection was common, no it’s not!! BE CAREFUL pay the extra and go elsewhere, with the money we paid we could’ve gotten our pup spayed many times over and still have money left over.
Great place to get your animal neutered or spayed.. They have very specific times to drop your animals off. Priam post-surgical instructions are available online. My only problem is this last kept that I took their they did not trim the claws that I paid for. And this cat does not tolerate his claws being trimmed.
I cant say enough about this place. CLEAN, organized, friendly, great staff, CLEAN. Lucy was scooped up by the tech and given kisses and rubs immediately. Alleviated my fears! Lucy had the finest incision with a little swelling and black/blue mark and minimal redness. Within one week was almost totally healed. The first night she was a little groggy from the anesthesia but the next morning back to normal. Ate good, pottied, etc. Tried to keep her a little quiet for the first few days, but shed play and jump with the others when I wasnt looking. No squeaks, no oozing or problems. Didnt need any of the pain medication provided and used the collar for about 3 days in her crate but she never bothered it. Thank you everyone at PetFix. You are all amazing!!
Everyone is so nice! My boyfriend and I have a rescue that was abused so taking to the vet it terrifying. We sat in a little closet room with our dog because we wouldve thought that he would try to bite the workers. The wait was a little long but they had a plan and it worked so easily! They were so caring for our boy while being neutered. If we ever get another dog that needs fixing were coming here, and did I mention it was like $200 less than our actual vet!?
Fantastic!! Is how I would describe Petfix. Absolutely a professional safe establishment. I wish I knew about them sooner. My vet of 20 years quoted me $450 -$750 for my 6 month old pug puppy. A friend at work recommended Petfix after she took 2 of her puppies to Petfix. Everything went exactly as they state on their website. I payed $85.00 but I donated $85 to spay a pet forward. Still VERY happy with what I paid and hopefully someone who cant afford a spay gets theirs free. Doesnt get any better than this place. Highly recommend!!!
They were awesome. Very friendly staff. I needed help getting around the construction on their road and one of them was so nice and stayed on the phone with me til I pulled into the parking lot. And to make it even better they saved me so much money. And my Missy Mo healed up great. No problems. Will definitely recommend them. Thank u to all that work there
Can’t recommend this place enough! Providing affordable spay/neuter services is such a fantastic gift to pet owners. When I found out how much it would cost at my Vet’s office, I was embarrassed to cancel, but she assured me that Petfix is the real deal and that they just want all pets to get spayed/neutered. Please make a donation if you can to help keep prices down!
Petfix is moderately priced. They have a tiny parking lot that is often super congested. The most delicious FREE cookies youve ever tasted are available in the waiting area. They are shaped like doggy biscuits lol. Our cat had no complications after being neutered at this location. Their schedule is written in stone so youll have to go elsewhere if you cant drop your pet off early in the morning and pick up around 3:30pm.
Friendly staff and efficient process. It is clear they care about the animals. My only complaint is that the pain meds they send us home with were not potent enough. My dog was clearly suffering through the entire first 36 hours or so, unable to sleep, eat, drink, or lie still for more than a few minutes. They also use skin glue to close the exterior incision, so there was no route for drainage.
Low cost Neuter / Spay . They are friendly and does a wonderful job. We have had 4 cats gone thru there. It is a wonderful place comparing $70 - $80 out the door per animal to $200+ going thru a regular animal vet, cant beat it. Its a Gem of the community. Get your animals fix there, special rates for feral animals, Its too bad they are not a full service place...
I would absolutely give zero stars if I was able. This location lost our family dog Shelby 6 months ago. Waited 6 days before they even began assisting us in looking for our family pet. I would not recommend using them especially if it involves transportation of your family pet. Our family immediately started pounding the pavement, passing out flyers, posting on social media even contacted local police and news outlets to try and bring our baby girl home. In our search we ended up rescuing another pup in need and now they are belittling my step mom for replacing Shelby. We absolutely did not replace Shelby we still post and look for her. This business is not professional and does not take responsibility for their wrong doings. We have also been told by someone close to the company that they have lost other dogs. DO NOT TRUST YOUR FUR CHILDREN WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
A wonderful place that works with Neighborhood Pets to help keep our beloved pets safe & healthy. I took my dog here to get fixed and they also administered him a rabies shot, micro-chipped him & got us started on a missing pets registery, applied flea meds & trimmed his nails. Working with Neighborhood Pets, all of this was free of charge because we are a low income family that lives in Cleveland. The staff is wonderful- very knowledgable and caring- and I was impressed with how they handled all the distressed animals so well. PLEASE DONATE TO THIS NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION so low income family pets can receive the care ALL family pets deserve.
I think this is a great service with extremely low prices. My cat was spayed, given 2 vaccines and had a nail trim for $96. However... the drawbacks - its literally an assembly line of sign in, pay, have someone take your pet. No one really speaks to you about the procedure (except on the phone while making the appt) they just take your pet in back. The day we were there, there were A TON of other animals. When we picked up my cat, a receptionist went over our home care instructions and got us the cat. We took her home - awake but still fully under the effects of the anesthesia. She must have just been finished right before we took her home, so no time to really fully recover & wake up, which no one gave us a heads up on at all. We had a HORRIBLE night w her. She did not sleep at all until approx 2:30 p.m. THE NEXT DAY. I called in the a.m. and they did offer to see her later in the afternoon. By the time it got close to her appt is when she finally decided to curl up w my dog and go to sleep, so I cancelled - I wanted to let her rest. She did fine over the next few weeks, aside from having a suture reaction and a giant lump on her belly.Again, I think this is a great service for people w low income and have pets in need or like us, who had a really rough patch and just couldnt afford the surgery at my reg vet at the time it was needed. That being said, Ill save up and go back to my reg vet next time. I prefer the personalized care you get and the explanations and that your pet is monitored closely after surgery and not just stuck back in her carrier w some newspaper. And that most times your pet is released only after they are fully recovered and awake and not still fully in the throes of anesthesia... it just would have been nice to be told that at pickup time. You get what you pay for though, I guess.
Great experience. Very nice people. Had to cancel my original appt due to weather. They called to reschedule faster than expected. I dropped my dog off on my way to work. he was transported there and back and was ready for pick up when I was done working...could not ask for more!!!
I must say, I am overall dissatisfied with my experience here. My dog was very obviously left in a cage all day and not taken to the bathroom. When I picked her up, she had urine all over her and all over her blanket that we left with her. She never has accidents like this. She cannot be bathed for 7-10 days after her spay, so the most I can do is clean her with baby wipes to get rid of the urine smell. In addition, her incision looks open. We took her to another vet the day after the procedure and they said she should have been stitched rather than glued, and the incision did not look good.Spend the extra money elsewhere and dont put your dog through this.
Horrible experience after getting our dog spayed! A day after bringing her home we noticed minor discharge from the incision which only got worse she wore the e-collar and had very limited activity. It is clear they did not properly glue the incision and left a portion of it open hence the discharge.. they only use glue which was my first red flag. Now on day 3 the incision is nearly completely open and oozing everywhere. Save your money and your pets discomfort and go else where to get it properly done. Now this all would be different experience if they would take responsibility for fixing their mistake!
The girl at the front desk seemed cranky, i was told theyd call when done, when they did call she said was seeing if anyone was coming to get the animal. Well yeah i was waiting on the call to come. Besides the customer service the experience was great and convenient. I would recommend.

2022-08-01A great non profit organization who specializes in the spay and neutering of animals at a very affordable cost.Staff was attentive- courteous and proficient. We just had our adopted 3 year old Goldendoodle neutered. Good location right off the freeway in Euclid. Would highly recommend- unless of course you want to pay your vet 10 times the cost that this wonderful organization charges. Please consider donating to continue making this fantastic service available locally.

2022-06-17I wanted to give 5 stars but who ever the lady was I picked my cat up from today 06/17/22 really doesn’t know how to talk to people. First off I asked for an E collar for my cat seeing as I know how my cat acts and was told no because it won’t do any good now I have been stuck in one spot having to hold my cat because he will not leave his wound alone just as I knew was going to happen because I know my cat more then some stranger who has met him. As well as that I got the vibe that she didn’t think much of me maybe like I was some kinda scum. Either way I am highly upset at the moment and stressed seeing as I can not even walk away to use the bathroom. This really could of been all avoided if the lady would of just trusted that I knew my cat and his behaviors and gave me an e collar. Besides her everything else was fine as far as I can say.

2022-03-08Great, caring and efficient staff. They handled the spaying of my feral cat who will become my pet cat. Really reasonable cost, I donated to the spay it forward fund to try to pull my fair weight and keep the program running!

2022-03-22This organization does a GREAT job with helping with the over population of animals and pets. I highly recommended them for spaying and neutering. They work on a sliding income scale that makes it affordable for all.

2022-08-18I love this place. So difficult to find a place that will help feral cats. This place is one of the few. Thank you Petfix for caring about feral cats when no one else will.

2022-08-05Excellent experience & I will be bringing more kitties here in the future. Cost effective with very polite staff & care givers.
