I needed a new ring appraisal as I had switched insurance companies. My regular jeweler did not perform appraisals and other companies closer to home had a 7+ day queue and I wouldve had to have my ring sent out. I called Peter & Co. and was told I could have a same-day appraisal or it could be completed by store opening the next day. I dropped my ring off for a next day pickup and within a few hours I received a call that the appraisal was complete! I was able to pick up my ring the same day. Very happy with my experience. I have been going to Peter & Co. For over 5 years. I had them make two necklaces from an heirloom ring and recently trusted them to resize a ring. Their service and work are of a quality beyond comparison. I have trusted them for years and think you will too. I wont go anywhere else for jewelry or repairs. Their staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and their customer service is second to none.
Coming here was not a mistake! I was welcomed warmly and my rings were handled with care. The staff took the time to note all the damage and give me options on if/how my bridal set would be fixed. I was giving a quote and timeline. I have my rings back and I’m so happy with them. You can’t tell there was any damage at all.
The customer service at Peter & Co Jewelers is truly the best. Staff are always there for you as soon as you come in the door till the time you leave ! You can pop in and have your jewelry cleaned and polished anytime. Would highly recommend them !
I cannot thank Tammy and Peter & Co. Jewelers enough. From the moment I walked in the door, they immediately greeted me with a friendly smile and asked what brought me in. I told them I was looking to replace an heirloom earring that had been lost. I was interested in trying to make a custom replacement set or finding one that was identical. Tammy immediately got a stack of books and together we searched hundreds of pages searching for the closest match! When we finally found one, they even overnighted it so that I could have it time before I left for vacation so that I could surprise her with them in Florida. I have found my jeweler in Cleveland and will only be buying jewelry from Tammy and Peter & Co. Jewelers! Highly highly recommend.
First I went to the store with 0 knowledge on diamonds, my 10 yr anniversary was coming up and wanted to change my wife’s diamond. The staff was super helpful, first of all they let me use a ring to present to my wife as a surprise on our anniversary day, of course she had to make the final selection. Then they rushed a special order because we had a trip scheduled so we had the ring just on time. 100% in customer service and went the extra mile to present several alternatives to my wife, so we’ll definitely be back.
Am a very fickle buyer and view the product being purchased as something that consists of the material product (eg jewelry) plus customer service, sellers expertise, and value. I needed my rings resized, and I’m very pleased with the work. Peter & Co. added material rather than stretching, and were able to preserve the small engraving I had. The work was completed in the estimated amount of time, and they fit very well now. Bonus, everything is shinier than it’s been in years!

I went in looking for a new chain for a small pendant. Tiffany found the exact chain I was looking for within minutes. They even put the old pendant on the new chain and soldered the link. I expected them to cut the old link and bend it back into place. I’m was surprised at the amount of care the staff showed. Peter and Co. earned a lifelong customer!

Customer service + expertise! My husband and I came in on Thursday and spoke with them about having my rings resized. Right away, Brad began to help us and took a look at my rings. We had already been to another jeweler who let us know that they would have a difficult time doing my rings and that they probably wouldn’t come out the same (ex. Instead of keeping two toned metal, they would come out completely one color). At Peter and Co. they immediately made us feel taken care of and they didn’t bat an eye at the complications that had been expressed at the previous jeweler. The quote they gave us was also very reasonable and when we saw the finished product, we were amazed. My rings look like they day we bought them!! And the cherry on top was that they finished them in a stunning 24 hours! We owe a huge thank you to both Brad and Peter and Co.‘s goldsmith. They finished them right before Christmas and now I get to wear my beautiful rings for the holidays. We couldn’t be more grateful or impressed. They have customers for life!
Awesome friendly family business. Great quality unique items for special hard to find gifts. My sons best friends grandmother passed away unexpectedly from a rare cancer last week. Its been extremely difficult on their family with the holidays upon us. We got the kids toy dinosaurs. But found a heart shaped childs locket at Peter & Co. for his friends sister who was extremely close and having the most difficult time as expected for any 5 years old. She was very upset but had asked lots of good questions. Now she has something very special that will last a lifetime to keep an image of her favorite person with her at all times.Peter & Co. staff had several in stock. Was able to polish it up and gift wrap it instantly. We had lots of miles to cover with limited time. We were so happy to find this perfect present to help out in the most difficult of times.
Amazing experience with Peter & Co!!!! Ordered an engagement ring that needed to come from the manufacturer and thought I had plenty of time to get before a trip to Florida where I had planned to propose. Unfortunately due to Covid and some delays associated it became clear it wouldn’t be in on time for the trip. As bummed as I was in 2022 you have to roll with the punches. I asked Brad the salesman I was working with at Peter & Co if I could at least get a box and I’d buy a cheap ring at Target so my fiancé and I could still have the moment we’d dreamed of. Brad did better than just getting me a box, he got me a display ring that was nearly identical. That’s the kind of service that will keep me around as a customer for a long time! They went far above and beyond what was necessary or required! Not only that, but when the actual ring came in a week later it was absolutely gorgeous and they did a wonderful job fitting my great grandmothers diamond. I highly recommend Peter & Co to anyone looking for jewelry!
Madison, was a pleasure to work with, I had picked out some beautiful earrings for my girlfriend with a reasonable discount as well. I later decided to exchange them to get a different pair for her and Madison made it very easy and delightful to upgrade, and she gave me a much bigger discount on the upgrade, making it easier to fit my budget. I patronized another jeweler in Avon Lake for 20 years who retired in 2020. I was hesitant to try Peters Jewelers because I thought they were snobby and too name-brand conscious. Recently I had three pieces of older diamond jewelry remade at Peters. The prices were reasonable and each piece is gorgeous. My Peters jewelry person, Madison, was amazing. Her communication skills are outstanding. The coup de grace was that there was an issue with one of my stones. Peters Jewelers replaced it with one of their own at no additional cost to me! These people arent remotely snobby, but they are trustworthy, strive to earn your business, and an excellent part of our community.

This was the 3rd or 4th jeweler I visited when looking to get my fiancés engagement ring. Tiffany made the experience really easy and was always super welcoming when we were planning.She was able to bring in some additional diamonds along the lines of what I was looking for. They had a quick turnaround before Thanksgiving when I finally made the selection.My fiancé absolutely loved the ring and we look forward to coming back and selecting wedding bands down the road.
I took a watch in for repair that I ended up breaking by accident. The watch was in several pieces and looked way beyond fixing. I also had a figaro bracelet that was to large and needed resized. The associates at Peter & Co. Were so understanding and took the time to listen to my needs and what I wanted done. They were able to fix my watch to almost new again and they resized my bracelet. The work quality was exceptional and the prices were lower than I expected. The time frame for the work was not long either. This was my first time going there and I was referred by my fiance. I would highly recommend Peter & Co. to anyone needing work done on their jewelry.

It is a real stunner and one of a kind.The experience was so fun and rewarding that I have returned to another custom concierge event.The step by step process from collaboration,hand drawn sketch to CAD review allows you to participate in the overall look of your piece without wondering what the final product will look like. The most difficult part...the wait, until you can wear your 1 of a kind treasure.

My mother gifted a Pearl necklace to my wife when she passed. I wanted to get some earrings custom made to match the setting and color of the necklace. Theresia and Peter & Co Jewelers did a fantastic job making my request a reality. The earrings match the necklace perfectly and look so nice in my wife’s ears. We were also able to find a bracelet that matched and now my wife has a complete set. My wife and I couldn’t be happier how everything turned out.

Peter & Co. remounted a wedding ring set into a custom made single ring for me using all of the diamonds from the original set. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Madison was extremely helpful and very professional. I would highly recommend Peter & Co. and will definitely be returning.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Peters Jewelers. I was in a pinch to get my rings cleaned and buffed before leaving town. Usually it is a process that can take up to 10 days but they were very kind and expedited it in a day. I will definitely be going back for my next jewelry purchase. I Took a very complicated vintage Movado watch, 47 years old with nearly a dozen movements to peters jewelers in Avon Lake Ohio. Their master watch maker and certified repair technician restored it to working and like new condition. Countless places I took it to turned down the option to work on it due to its complexity, it was a gift from my Father when I turn 16 and I am thrilled to have it back in working and like brand new condition. I was fortunate to find Gregg at Peters because he was able to fix my Omega watch for a very reasonable price. Avon Lake is a bit of a trek for me from Cleveland but we’ll worth it compared to mailing the watch out of state. It’s a beautiful jewelry store and the staff are helpful and kind. I recently won a gift basket which contained a Peter and Co Jewelers gift certificate. I stopped in yesterday and found some beautiful jewelry. I purchased Ania Haie bracelets and necklace. Not only are they beautiful, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I have shopped here a handful of times over the years and have always been pleased with the quality of pieces and service.

Customer service here has been top notch and my experience here has been excellent throughout. Sales showed me several options to choose from within the budget that I set with ZERO pressure to move away from that budget. I proposed overseas and was talking about my concerns with traveling with my actual engagement ring, so they actually created a replica/duplicate ring with a CZ for no charge! This let me propose in a different country with a great looking ring and put me at ease about traveling. This small unique touch of customer service was unexpected and one of the differentiating factors for me to chose this place. After I picked up the actual ring, my fiance and I wanted the band to look a bit more yellow gold in color so we tasked them to order the same ring, resized, in 18K gold. They got all of this done seamlessly and didnt charge me anything extra to make sure I was happy. The ring looks fantastic and the customer service was awesome!!

My husband purchased a ring for me that was a little to big. They offered two options to resize or get a new one from the vendor. I chose the vendor option and they communicated with me until the new one arrived. Great customer service. I love every piece of jewelry that I get from them.

I requested a specialty service from Peter & Co Jewelers; the hand etching of an inscription on an irregularly shaped object - the butt plate of a rifle intended as a presentation to my brother, a retiring Air Force Colonel, at his military retirement ceremony. There was a tight timeline - ten days - to achieve completion of this project in order to get it to him for his retirement ceremony. Peter & Co Jewelers went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that my retiring service member/brother’s in-scripted etching was completed - on time and a day early. I have been a loyal customer of this family-owned business for many years, but this level of customer service took me aback as an extraordinary gesture of care and concern. I will not seek jewelry from any other business than Peter & Co Jewelers after this experience. The way I see it, if Peter & Co Jewelers doesn’t have it, then I don’t need it. Peter & Co Jewelers did a great job of treating my $25 Bugs Bunny & SpongeBob Squarepants watches very carefully so I can give them to my Nephew-in-Law so he can teach his children how to tell time ... just as I did with their Mother when she was young.

5 stars isnt enough to rate the experience my husband and I had at this store. We worked with Tammy on 2 custom pieces. She was quick to respond to emails and very sensitive to the reason we were having these custom pieces made. The final result was even better than we could have ever imagined. Amazing service. I’m 16 and wanted to get a few things for my mom, and as a teenager I don’t have a whole lot of money to spend. They didn’t push anything on me, there was no pressure whatsoever. I won’t go anywhere else, a very pleasant experience for my first time jewelry shopping.

2022-05-19I was at Costco filling gas and 3 other women were filling gas as well . I needed a Jeweler to shorten moms twist watch band and did not know any jewelers in the area . So I asked all 3 which jeweler that they would recommend and all 3 responded , “PETER AND CO IN AVON LAKE.” I checked only 10 min from my location so I went.Located in a shopping plaza but a corner stand alone building with lots of parking . I parked and entered and immediately was greeted with 6 smiles. Professional, friendly, customer service everything first class. A beautiful elderly women took the watch and with minutes repaired it . In the mean time Jenna took care me . I learned that Peter and co is a local family owed business . Has a 35 year history of serving both Cleveland as well as Lorain County area. They have a great watch collection, diamond pendents and bracelets, fantastic wedding or engagement rings and bands. It is preferred to make an appointment but walk-in are ok . If you need anything cleaned or repaired they can help . Let Peter and co be your next jewelry stop

2022-03-03Our experience with Peter & Co. Jewelers was fantastic! My engagement ring is beautiful, and each time I’ve been back in, the staff offers to clean my ring for me. When I needed to get My engagement ring resized and requested a short turn around before heading out on vacation, the staff got me my ring back within the week! The process of picking out our wedding bands was very smooth and seamless. Tammy showed us so many different options and helped us pick out the bands that were just right for us! I cannot wait to add my wedding band to my engagement ring! Excellent quality and 10/10 customer service!

2022-03-13I walked into Peter’s knowing nothing about engagement rings. Their staff was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. After my first visit I looked at several different jewelry stores but my mind kept coming back to Peter’s staff and ring selection. Other stores made me feel like they were just trying to make a sale. The staff at Peter’s listened and worked with me. They took their time to help me piece together my dream ring. 2022-04-09I have been here a few times and I have always had a pleasant experience. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. The sales people are very knowledgeable. I have gotten a few ring sized and one ring appraised. I have always got my rings back either before the date or on the date that they said they would be finished. This is my go to jewelers and I love that I can support local.

They have been involved in many important days in my life like when I proposed to my wife and when our children were born.
