Great company and great customer service! Wonderful family always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I called and scheduled the delivery and I was instructed to call when we were ready to have the dumpster picked up - within 14 days. The driver called me first thing in the morning and advised he was on his way to drop off the container. He was polite, professional and placed the container where we requested. We had a Pete and Pete dumpster at my business that received weekly pickup. For the first year everything was great. However, the past 10-12 months they have missed pickup 6 times. Each time its a hassle to 1. Get them to believe me and 2. Come pick it up. At first I insisted on refunds but then just asked to come dump it out after they missed the day. The dumpster is basically never full and so really easy to tell when it hasnt been dumped. The office isnt helpful and will say the driver has logged it as picked up. They even told me once that I hadnt called to report the missed pickup soon enough so they couldnt do anything (I was out of town for two days).On another note, earlier in the year one of their drivers backed directly into a clients car in the middle of the road. Our client was laying on her horn as were several other drivers before the truck driver noticed. Police came as well as EMT and sighted their driver. We never heard a word from Pete and Pete about it.Cancelled my service and happy I did because I realized it was $55/month cheaper to go with another local company. Seriously I dont write bad reviews often but screw this place. You are a business owner and have more things to worry about then whether or not your dumpster is getting picked up. Hire someone else.To owner below: twice we changed our credit card on file though service was never interrupted then. I can send over the emails where I gave the heads up our card was changing if you like. Why am I not surprised you tried to act like that was the reason you missed 6 pickup days? If that was the case why not say thats the reason instead of telling me your drivers log said we got picked up? As a fellow business owner, shame on you for your inability to own up to your own mistakes.
We are a small nonprofit group home serving kids in Garfield Heights. When we had some volunteers offer to help us clean out one of our homes and do a small home improvement project, we realized that we need a container. Lisa and Marie at Pete & Pete were amazing. They provide us a container on a days notice and gave us the time we needed to fill it up. The drivers were great. There are a lot of companies out there that talk a good game about their commitment to community but very few walk-the-walk. Pete & Pete didnt even know us but when Lisa heard what we were doing, she stepped right in to help us out. We bought our house as foreclosure and needed a complete tear out of the house. So we called Pete and Pete for container service. So glad we did! I was traveling on 271 truck went over bump and debris flew out of the dumpster and called the wrong company Pete Construction memory full. I realized I had called the wrong company. Called Pete and Pete put in my complaint and got same response as some others. Debris must have bounced off the road. Interesting cause it came from their truck dumpster which was not tarped down correctly . Lisa emailejd me back and said that. I dont understand if you see debris falling out of dumpster not bouncing off road why it was not their fault. I am furious now I have to pay 300 dollars for their negligence.Unhappy complaint DANGEROUS NOT STRAPPING THEIR LOAD.

I work for a construction company. We use a lot of dumpsters. Pete and Pete is our preferred container service. Out of the hundreds of dumpsters, I think we have had one minor issue and it was fixed quickly.
We forgot to order a dumpster for debris generated during a work day of 30 volunteers at a house that will be used for transitional housing for homeless veterans. We called Pete & Pete early on Saturday morning, and Pete Jr. was able to get a container delivered same day to the property, saving the work day and helping a great cause. Pete and Lisa are a great management team. Ive really enjoyed working with them. They have a great support staff, knowledgeable and experienced. Ive been using this service for years for my rental homes. By far the best driver I have encountered with Pete and Pete is Stan he dropped off a dumpster at one of my properties recently, there was a low electrical wire which I thought would be very hard to clear, he cleared it no problem and put the dumpster exactly where i needed it to go. Absolutely rude!! They just came and dropped a large dumpster at our neighbors house at 6:30 AM!! All kinds of beeping, lights and racket going on. It woke us up as we thought there was an emergency going on. This is a residential neighborhood, not a job site. My husband came out to go to work and yelled over to the driver that its a bit ridiculous to be doing this so early right in-between houses and the driver told him to shut up and get in his truck! Not an impression your employees should leave on anyone, and we will NEVER use your company for any needs.
Rented a 20 yard dumpster to demo my kitchen. The Driver (Patrick) who dropped off the dumpster was great!! He gave me more suggestions and tips on my kitchen project than any of the contractors Ive talked to. Great experience all around!!! Will definitely use them again, and recommend to friends!
Our experience with Pete & Pete has been top notch. From friendly helpful people on the phone to professional and courteous drivers.We use them for bi-weekly removal and the occasional 40yd roll offs. All equipment has been in great condition and if there is an issue they have been very prompt in taking care of it.
Debris came off one of their trucks on the highway and wrecked the hood of my new car. Owner will not take responsibility. Please dont trust this company when its entirely apparent that they dont take responsibility for their own wrong-doings.

Rob Jr. dropped off a dumpster to our house first thing in the morning, on time on the right day. We didnt have to chase them down or worry about being home during a wide range of times. It was a good experience and we appreciate the friendly service.
One of our customers was in desperate need to get their roll off emptied and brought back to the job same day or next day. The request came in at 3pm. I called Pete and Pete knowing it was very late in the day and same day service would be impossible. I spoke with Megan asking for next day service or at least deliver another roll off the next day and she came back promising they will squeeze service in the next day which was a Saturday! My customer called late on a Friday afternoon for a compactor haul - they were full. I wasnt able to reach Pete and Pete Container by phone as it was after regular business hours. I emailed a PO to Dispatch hoping someone would see it on Saturday morning and they would be able to service my customer. I told my customer they may have to wait until Monday. When I got to the office on Monday, the first thing I did was check on that compactor haul. Pete and Pete Container Serviced saved the day - they hauled on Saturday morning! Totally a professional company!!!I spoke to Chris T at Pete and Pete as I needed two 40 yards dropped off at a government building in downtown Cleveland. Not only did she fill out the proper dock access forms, she followed up the day before the drop to confirm we were still on schedule. The two dumpsters were dropped on a Friday at the exact time she said they would be there. They were also picked up first thing on Monday before the building was open so it wouldnt impede on the dock spaces for that days deliveries. And to top it off, I only used one of the 40 yard dumpsters and the other 40 yard dumpster we didnt use. Chris informed me that since I didnt use the second dumpster that I would only be charged for a drop off and pick up and not the full amount, saving my company money. Well I think I live in the same apartment complex as the other lady that wrote a review a few weeks ago. I have to say I agree with her. Today pete and pete came at 5:50 a.m. and woke my whole family up. We slept with our windows open and the banging of the dumpsters was very loud and obnoxious. Please reconsider coming to residential areas so early in the morning. Also I had noticed that the garbage truck did not have the reverse beep... beep... beep... when it was going backwards. I thought that was a safety thing for everyone that may be involved. Please have it fixed so no one gets hurt.

This company has been supplying dumpsters for WT at the Cleveland Clinic for many years now. They are very prompt with pick ups, and will pull you out of a pinch when emergency pick ups at the end of the day are needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Every time they come to my apartment complex its between 5:30 and 7. Anything before 6:30 is honestly too early. For a place of residency. Theyre constantly waking my neighbors and I up. Today they came at 6:20 and both of our dumpsters were very full. What does the garbage man do you ask? He pushed whatever left over trash there was between the fence and the dumpster making it impossible for any one to go and pick up the extra trash and put it in the dumpster. There were also bags of trash that fell out of the dumpster while he was dumping the trash into the compactor area and when he was done he just took it and put it next to the dumpster instead of throwing it into the truck. If I was wthe owner of my apartment complex Id call and complain to whoever is in charge. Ive lived here for over a year and nothing has improved with the trash people. Thats why Im leaving a review. I would leave less than one star if I could. Oh and I saw some of the trash fly out of the dumpster while being dumped and hit someones car. Thank goodness my roommate and I dont park by the dumpster.

As the director for a non-profit 501 C (3), I create dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening illnesses. Finding a way to dispose of all the boxes, Styrofoam, wrappings, etc. once the makeover is completed has been a challenge and a nuisance. Having a container to just put everything no longer needed was truly a gift!!!

Could not believe it. Showed up a half hour early. My driver was Stan. He put the dumpster in a very tight area, down an inclined drive with sidewalls and a low power line!

2022-04-21I rather eat my garbage than to do business with this company ever!A representative name “Nautica” wrote me up a contract for a 2 yard dumpster the order was placed not even 24 hours ago when they drop the dumpster off it had no wheels and it was located in the wrong place of the parking lot that I desire.I called to discuss my grievances and I was rudely very rudely cut off I was yelled it also belittled in a way I asked for the dumpster to be picking up because I no longer want to do business with this company and of course I was charged with three or four different fees before the end of the three minute phone call you guys please do dumpster rental with another company I will upload pictures later how small this to yard trashcan is it may be a yard and a half at best. Please stay away.CLEVELAND OHIO.

2018-07-23Absolutely rude and takes no responsibility. They had materials flying out of the back of their trucks on 480 that shattered my windshield. I immediately took pictures of the incident. When I called to explain the scenario, they accused me of lying and were incredibly rude immediately. There was no even listening. They take no responsibility for their actions, or the safety of those they are around.UPDATE :Their insincere apology on this matter below shows how they treat their CUSTOMERS again. We apologize, but its not our fault and we didnt have anything to do with it. We again take no responsibility. However, in the real world, their poorly fastened truck carrying debris flew out of their truck and shattered my windshield while driving 70 mph. When I communicated evidence for everyone to see, they responded with false sincerity remarks and no responsibility. Given all the facts they still deny, offer no responsibility, and still trying to blame the victim. Would you want to do business with a company that even when they know that they are culpable, still treats people this way?

2019-06-15We have a pretty short drive way and needed a 30 yard container. When the truck pulled up, I immediately thought well, no way this is going to work. Rob Jr. dropped it off for us and placed it literally with about 6 inches of room to work with. Really impressive maneuvering. Pickup went just as smooth. Couldnt be happier with the service from these guys!

2021-11-01Pete and Pete provided waste removal services for our house renovation. When you phone Pete and Pete, the staff are very friendly and service oriented. They were responsible for arranging delivery and pick up of the dumpster bins and then the driving staff promptly arrived at site the next day. I would use them again for my waste disposal needs.
