I got 2 lovely budgies (parakeets) here. These are my first birds, and all the workers were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and helping me select male birds. The animals of all types in the store are healthy and well-fed, and have obviously been treated well. I wouldnt get a bird at any other store.
We had such a great experience purchasing our first baby Green Cheek Conure from Pet Paradise. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable and our baby is now 4 months old and a perfect fit for our family. We live about 45 minutes away and drove up there for 4 weekends to visit before he was old enough to bring home. All the staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions. We cant wait to go back and purchase more toys and see all the birds at the store. Really nice place and I highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our experience with Pet Paradise! Their birds come from real breeders and are hand-fed until they are old enough. The staff was wonderful and very patient. Weve been back every day to check on our new parrot and they have been more than helpful. The sales people are not pushy at all and really seem to care for the birds as much as they care for their clients. They also offer a lot of services for the future (wing clipping, suggestions on where to board, etc.). Thank you so much for your help!
My husband and I are here all the time for all of our pets! This is the only place we come to and the customer service is fantastic! Everyone is really nice and our last visit we had a guy named Andrew that suggested a hog feeder for our 2 dogs and it works great! He even helped us with rabbit food and suggested items to use for my rabbit. We havent stopped coming here since!
We bought a rabbit here a year ago and had to put it down for hereditary tooth problems we paid like 50 for the bunny and spent around 1000 to keep it alive because the teeth were so bad every month we had to get it trimmed vet said the breeder knew about the tooth problems and sold them anyway because there was no way they didnt know costed my family alot of heartbreak and stress and money and to have to put down a pet we became attached to is horrible
Got my baby conure from here. Really my only complaint is the wing clipping. Completely hacked her primary flight feathers and she completely falls straight to the floor. Babies are so fragile it’s important they have the ability to glide to the floor not just slam straight down. They definitely should do more research on how to properly clip feathers. I didn’t even have a say on if I wanted her wings clipped or not. Asked them if they would harness train my bird because all my other birds are harness trained and to do it at a young age is the best and they said no that it’s dangerous which is complete bs.
I’m trying to find a cockatiel and I’m hoping they have one I looked on the map thing and I did see it I pressed the street view I was very confused, hoping they have cocktails or at least cockatoos, I’ve also seen all these reviews everyone love this place if they have cockatiels I will definitely go here for sure! :)
No plastic bags for crickets. Staff should probably tell someone that when they give it to you in a paper bag that theres no plaatic bag inside, just crickets. For a store that sells ferrets they should know the basics about ferrets .They have the ferrets in cage that has metal bars on the bottom. Ferrets have very sensitive feet. Therefore it causes pain to a ferret to walk in a cage like that. I get the convenience factor of the feces falling through the bars for easy clean up, but i think that taking the two extra minutes to clean the cage without bars and using a literbox is a much less painful solution.
Wonderful, caring pet store. They have the healthiest baby birds, including African greys, Indian ringnecks, Lorikeets, Eclectus, all types of conures, finches, lovebirds, and cockatiels, also snakes, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs. No fish. They have crickets, mealworms and feeder mice and rats.
I bought a cinnamon green cheeked conure after never even holding a bird! I am 50 yrs old and I suffer from chronic migraines/pain. Monk, my conure, is my migraine buddy. The women at Pet Paradise prepared me and taught me (and continue to educate me in) everything I needed to know in order to walk out of their doors with confidence that I could care for Monk. I have been back to the store many times in the past month to purchase toys and Lafeber food. Monk, named after the OCD detective tv show, is such a happy bird! He is a beak clicker which is actually a birds way of expressing happiness. I am beyond delighted with the service I have received at Pet Paradise. I was referred to the store by pet lovers- who own dogs!- who have heard such wonderful things over the many years Pet Paradise has been open by their bird-owning friends they told me to go straight there and nowhere else. I did as I was told. My Monk has been with me for 33 days and says over 10 words including Momma. Thank you, Sallie and Sharon and Erica and staff! I am a customer for life!

2022-03-19Well stocked every time. Everything from reptiles to ferrets, rabbits, and of course birds. Fairly priced. Would have given 5 stars if the new staff was more knowledgeable about hand-feeding babies, I wanted so bad to say something to her but stopped myself. Babies heads were not supported and not near enough food. Left them still crying for the food. I know this because I know of another bird store I worked at for 15 years and handfed babies daily. New employee got upset and rolled her eyes when I asked for no peanuts in the loose bin birdseed. Ive been asking for that for the past 10 years of me going there. If the old staff was still there definitely 5 stars.

2022-06-15The rats and mice are fed and housed terribly. The snakes looked emaciated. The staff wasnt knowledgeable or friendly and kept contradicting each other. They have good prices and lots of animals but they are just not a place Id want to get my pets from. All the other pet stores said they have only heard bad things about Pet Paradise, not to get animals from them. I wont be going back.

2021-02-05They take amazing care of the birds! They all seem very healthy and happy. The baby birds are hand-fed and very well socialized. It is definitely a bird store first. They sell other small critters too, but I dont know much about them, so I cant really say anything about their care.

2021-04-07Very knowledgeable staff and the store is well kept and clean, as well as their animals. They prefer you to get to know what youre adopting first by interacting with them without feeling rushed, which i thought was very important! I love my rats so much and theyre surprisingly very social already. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful to make me feel confident about getting them
