Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in other cities:
Love me some good Perkins. They closed a bunch of locations, which is sad because its better than say Eat N Park or Bob Evans, or Dennys. If you want good service, good food and good prices in an old fashion sit down diner/restaurant feel Perkins is the place. 5 stars.
Only reason they get the 2 IS THIS....VERY POOR MAGMT AS THEIR WAITRESSES ARE TREATED LIKE DOGS OOR CATTLE...NOT ONLY DO THE HAVE TO WAIT ON CUSTOMERS...THESE GIRLS ARE FORCED YES FORCED TO CLEAN TABLES VACCUME THE PLACE PLUS WASH DISHES AND SOMETIMES COOK ALLLL THE WHILE WAITING ON CUSTOMERS WHO IM AFRAID TO SAY LOOK DOWN ON THESE GIRLS...SHOULD BE RATED A ONE BUT FOOD WAS GOOD...LIL OVERPRICED...BUT GOOD
My husbands food was spot on, mine not so much. The tomatoes where very bitter, the spinich slightly cooked but the potatoes where hard as a rock. So you might be wondering why the 4 stars. They immediately upon looking at my plate refunded my meal without asking. I hate to complain but our waitress was observant and noticed the issue. She provided amazing service. I turned down the offer for another meal because my husband had already eaten and we mostly just went to unwind after a long day. The coffee was good!
Took mom to her favourite place for breakfast. Limited seating for more than two people and you were spaced apart. Very clean. Staff were nice. Food was pretty good. Our waitress did forget the syrup for moms pancakes 😁 (yikes) and my toast for my skillet breakfast, which was $2.99 😳 but overall mom and I enjoyed our meal and still tipped our waitress $5.
A great diner! I was in town for a holiday, visiting with relatives. They raved about Perkins, so of course we had to stop in for breakfast. Despite the busy holiday crowd, the food came out in good time and the staff was on top of everything. The food itself was delicious and had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch foods to choose.
I wouldnt give any stars except that I wouldnt be able to leave a review. We are traveling over 1000 miles and looked up to see where a Perkins was located. We drove 10 miles off of the interstate because the one in Youngstown stated on the website that it was open until 10. We pulled in right at 9 and saw an employee run to the front to lock both doors. When we got up to the door, another employee signaled they closed at 9. There were other people in the restaurant. I proceeded to double check the time on the website and called them to let them know. They told me they are trying to get it changed.
I would like to start off by saying this was my first time and last time going there.Me and my family decided to go there for Easter dinner. after waiting for 25 minutes to order our food keep in mind the place was empty I decided to get a breakfast platter French toast to be Precise. At first sight it look good until I bit into it you can still taste the eggs in the toast I kindly ask the waitress can I order something different so I order some waffles once again after waiting for 25 minutes I decided to go to the register to catch my waitress attention as I’m standing there looking through the hall into the kitchen I see my waitress bare hand touching my Waffle on both sides to see if the food was still warm that was disgusting to me so I did not eat nothing from there mind you this was Easter dinner
Recently remodeled. The place looks great! We had the burger special which was burger, fries and pie for $9.99. Its a good deal. They now have Coke Freestyle and you can get a combo drink of your choice. However, Im still not too crazy about spending $2.89 on a soft drink. Everyone was kept socially distant and all who entered or left had masks on. We had a good meal and the service was on point.

They made us wait excessively long dining in to fulfill their backlog of online orders. The dining room was nearly empty and they gave us no heads up it could be a longer wait because of this. If theyre short staffed in the kitchen, they shouldnt be accepting online orders and letting dine in customers and staff suffer. They need to fix the issue or the store will go under. If corporate is making them do this, then i really feel bad for the staff because they seemed great otherwise.
Id like to shout out the manager who was rude and wouldnt give us an answer to how long the estimated wait would be beyond a gruff A bit, and who knows? If we had eaten here, we wouldnt have discovered Cs Waffles nearby, which I would gleefully rate five stars. Nice job selling the brand dude!
We walk in to the wait area shoulder to shoulder deep. Seating for 4. The elderly are standing for the better part of an hour. The General Manager, George, is taking first names and writing it down. After 50 minute wait and seeing those who entered after us being seated, I asked if there was a problem seating us and the man told me he already called me, AND claimed to have gone outside to look for me! I was literally 3 feet away from him the ENTIRE time. Horrible service but the audacity to blatantly LIE to cover up your mediocrity is UNACCEPTABLE. Contacting regional office.
Went there for brunch. I ordered chicken salad croissant with tomato soup. Both very good, esp the tomato soup. Chicken salad very fresh as was the croissant. My husband ordered breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and coffee. The food he said was good but the coffee was just starting to taste old. He told our waitress and she brought a fresh carafe of coffee. Restaurant was clean wait staff friendly. The bakery section has goodies that looked really tempting. We definitely go back. Restaurant was recently remodeled.
The manager, Tana, was so calm and patient as their system was down and they could only accept cash payment. I had stopped to get pie for my husband and I, and while I waited she handled a customers coupon and talked with them about their meal. She was very helpful and answered their questions, and handled the system crashing with a positive attitude. Merry Christmas!
The server was 5 stars. The food was ok. The steak is what brought everything down, it was a 2 star piece of meat. The service was very good. I did not have to wait more than 1 minute to get drink refills and she kept checking on me, but not so much as to be irritating.
If you’re going to hire Chef Boyardee to cook for your business, good luck. You just lost a regular you had gained during the pandemic.Shout out to the wait staff never had problems, they cool. Also the older lady manager that’s shorter, she cool too.The other manager she seems to have anger issues. She was more mad about messing up my dinner for the evening and thinking I was retarded not knowing what a poached egg was. I don’t know where In Youngstown they found her, but she can go home.Pro: they do have really good free wifi
Had a great time with my friends last night. They allowed us to sit in a different section because there were 6 of us and no other tables could accommodate us. I had the California Benedict and it was really good. The eggs were a little over cooked but oh well. It was still delicious and well made. Definitely getting it again.
Stopped here following a play, so was well after dinner hours. The food was good, coffee fresh & delicious and the waitress was friendly & attentive to our wants & needs. One of us had breakfast, the other a sandwich combo. Id go there again as its always nice to be able to order your favorite meal regardless of the time of day.
Dude Im not going to lie I would give this place way more stars because their food is actually pretty good. But the last few times Ive been in there, there has been this weird stank, like a raw sewage or sulfur or I dont know what but it definitely got some stank to it. Im not going to lie its a Stang that you dont get used to After Time. I think people who said this place isnt clean, are just mistaking it for old. But overall thats stank has to be taken care of. Nice servers
Food was okay but a far stretch from home cooked. The Scrambled eggs tasted a little off probably because they are poured eggs. They had a sweetness to them. Prices are reasonable the service was friendly however my waitress was not seen often. To be fair though its a busy Sunday morning so Im sure she has lots of tables.
What a terrible experience! It was a long wait, which we didnt mind, while the manager was helping our server carry food out the tray was sitting on her shoulder and her hair was on the tray! The only thing hot was pancakes. All of our food was cold. The toast was so cold the butter didnt even melt. Just awful. We will never come back!
I used to go here all the time. The past 2 times I have gone the food has been questionable and my husband I ended up sick afterward. Also, when we were there last time, it was raining and the celing tile by the first table just crumbled and fell. When we pointed it out to staff they acted as if it was normal. Im not sure what has changed but it isnt doing it justice.
Good food, good location. Never too busy and the staff is very nice and most of them do their jobs very well. One of the better corporate restaurants in Youngstown. -1 Star for changing their hours, as they used be open 24/7. Now they are only open overnight on Fridays and Saturdays. -1 Star because its generally bland food, their breakfast is the only kicker as their lunch and dinners are lacking in any real flavor. Also, really disappointed they decided to tear up and replace a side walk out front instead of having their parking lot repaved. Full of potholes and trip hazards.
Due to the pandemic they have a very limited menu and not as much seating . We also ordered food to go which we placed the order when we where seated went to pay and they couldnt find the to go order after waiting some time 20 to 30 min they found it placed on there door dash table needless to say when we got home the food was cold . The waiting area by the register smelt horrible kind of like a sewer smell I wont be going back anytime soon .
The coffee is strong and very good, not burnt or bitter. The pancakes are thick, the eggs are never undercooked, and their pastries are well baked. Their meat is always done well, but never particularly seasoned. The tilapia is always seasoned well, especially the lemon pepper option. I eat here quite often and am never disappointed, the staff is friendly, prompt and remember their customers.
I love Perkins ! There arent very many in this area and this one is exceptional ! Very clean, decor is cute. The service is always fast and friendly. The menu choices are endless ! The food is always served fresh and fast. The bakery here is great too ! Take some muffins home, you will be glad you did.
I havent gone here in God knows how long. So I try it out. I ordered something the menu was describing as medium sized, The appetizers were the best thing of the dinner, but when I get my plate of food it was 4 small pieces made looked like 5 and an ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes. What is that? And then the price was almost $14. I feel like I got robbed.
Was pleased how the waiter came to our table a few times to see if we were ready to order, wasnt pleased with the service after I got my food. Didnt visit table much focused more on table that came after us. Not offered a refill after my drink was empty. Overall food was good. Enjoyed the loaded baked potato soup.
This place has lots of problems, never enough servers, and when they do have enough, the ones that are on the floor dont do anything but talk to each other. Was in there in February 2020, what a hot mess. They brought the food to me cold, and my server was the cook, he actually cooked my food himself. Said one of the cooks left in an ambulance with chest pains, he was only 21 years old. The stress in that restaurant is so bad that a 21 year old couldnt even take it. They gave me 3 free muffins for my inconvenience & I only had to pay for my coffee. Something is wrong with this restaurant. But theyre short staffed all the time, every day, every month, every year. Dont think Ill be back.
Service as great. Food was good as for a chain restaurant. But when we had to leave. We were told we could not pay with credit card. And if we wanted to, we would have to wait 15-20 min. along with about a half dozen other people waiting. Apparently this happens every night at midnight so they can run a report. You would think they would do this at 4am when there is less chance of people in the restaurant. What an inconvenience!
My girl and I went there last night at about 9:30 pm. We waited ten minutes to get seated and the restaurant was maybe 25% full. After we were seated we got our drinks and waited another 10-15 minutes for a server. We placed our order and didnt get it for about 25 minutes. When we got our meals their was no gravy on my country fried steak, the potatoes where the wrong ones and no syrup for my pancakes.it took another 15 minutes to get that resolved and by then it was all cold. In the meantime Im waiting for a refill on my ice tea for 15-20 minutes. I would suggest the restaurant manager get things under control or that store will be gone. That experience was the worst service I have ever had in a Perkins restaurant. I wish I had gone to the IHOP across the street. I know I would have gotten better service. We started with one waitress and in the middle got a new waiter. He did take 20% off of our bill but that did not even satisfy us. We were very, very disappointed in this store. The first time there and definitely our last. Go across the street to IHOP folks it cant be as bad as Perkins.
This visit was great, I had a take out order. The sunrise burger, broccoli, & peanut butter silk pie all delicious. TERRI, cashed me out bagged my meal, and asked me if I needed any condiments, yes please and thanks mustard.. but she gave a small container of ketchup and mayo...... Thanks Terri. Keep up the good work!!!!!
When we came here, it was so busy and there seemed to be only one person working as a hostess, and waitress. Monica was that person. She was so fantastic! I really felt bad that she had to run around and clean all the tables, seat everyone, and then wait on them and she did it so quickly and with a smile. She was just wonderful and I want everyone to know how she made Perkins a much more enjoyable experience than it usually is.
I believe some people that work here are racist because me and my brother walked in and no one asked did we want anything from behind the glass or wanted to be seated. We just felt so out of place. My brother was so embarrassed he went back out to the car. After I actually asked somebody could they give me a seat I literally had to text my brother that I had a table and to come back in. The waiter was nice once we got sitted she charged our phones in the back. Food was cool but I haven’t been back since.
Usually, this place is as good as gold, but my last visit left much to desire. Such as the fact that it took my carryout order almost a complete hour to get to me. I sat next to a terribly squeaky door for 45 minutes before I left to return a movie rental so that it wouldnt be late. When I returned, 10 minutes later, I went up and again inquired about the status of my order. After searching through multiple takeout containers, the same woman that took my order handed me my single meal with cold pancakes, sausage, and eggs.
Its only getting 1 star because I cant leave a review without at least one. It deserves a negative 5 stars. They know the first weekend of May is always a big fairgrounds event but were completely understaffed and uncaring. My wife, father and I decided to do breakfast this morning before the 1st big swap meet of the season. Had to wait 5min to be seated, 15min to put in our drink and breakfast order then after well over an hour, a full carafe of coffee and no food we asked if there was a problem since no one had even come to check on us or apologize for the wait, the waitress got snotty and said it hadnt been that long and would still be awhile. With that we got up and left and went down the street for breakfast . We will never go to this one again. They clearly dont care about their customers experiences.
Usually out of featured items. Today they were out of Mac and Cheese for the kids. Tried to tell me that I didnt order drinks and soup, even though its on the receipt. Gave us ice cold soup and said we can heat it at home. It literally felt like it came out of the fridge.
Went on Friday night with my family. This place was not busy and the food took forever to come, and when it did it looked terrible. Everything was overcooked and dry. We asked for extra pickles for my childs burger and when the server brought them I found a cigarette butt in the bowl. You have got to be fing kidding me.....really. Avoid this place like the plague. They filed for bankruptcy for a reason. So we got the child McDonalds so she could eat. Perkins used to be good but the location in Boardman is terrible. Go somewhere else.
Shoulder to shoulder in a covid-19 epidemic I felt unsafe and had to wait in the lobby for 30 min just to get skipped an the arrogant manager (george) said he called my name while I stood 7 feet away from him then entire wait time its a shame..I WILL NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE not even someone I dont like...😡😡😡
We ate there last night, it was not a good experience, the carpet had be shampooed recently smelled like mildew making it difficult to eat. It took them too long to bring the entries to the table, so the waitress brought out dessert first. Might want to replace the carpet.
Arrived during afternoon shift change. Once we were seated waitress took our coffee orders. She then clocked out. Had to wait 20 min. for next waitress to clock in and retake our drink orders. Was waitresss first week on the job. She did her best but was obviously undertrained Was the cooks 1st day on the job and they apparently just threw him back their by himself. Food was horrible. My country fried steak was so overdone it was almost burnt. My mothers salmon was overcooked and hard, my brothers was still raw in the middle. Eggs were hard from the heat lamp. It took so long to get the food we didnt have time to wait for it to be recooked and 0 confidence it would be worth the wait. On top of everything else, took a piece of apple pie to go because they were supposely out of apple cinnamon muffins but on the way out saw 2 plates full in display case.Wost dining experience in a long long time.
I used to love this place. The other day I was waiting 10 mins to be sat. Food was cold, chef overcooked steak but didnt feel like he needed to make another one. Workers kept yelling at eachother, and the manager was apart of the problem. The same person (Im pretty sure a manager or hostess) yelled one of the older waitresses who Ive had great service from I think her name is Monica. But I havent seen her there since which might be the final breaking point. I mean theres another perkins, ihop, bob evans, cees, steak and shake that i can go to.
I have been frequenting this restaurant chain for many, many years. The food has always been consistently good. The staff is courteous and attentive. All three meals are available at all times. And all three meal categories offer numerous choices. The buttermilk pancakes and applewood smoked bacon are very good and it comes with three syrup choices which come in clean and full syrup containers. For lunch, sandwiches and garden salads are very good. Dinner choices are also very good and varied. Everything from traditional choices to skillet suppers and several seafood options are available. There are many choices of sides to accompany the main course as well. Many of them are healthy options and many are options that you dont see in other restaurants such as grilled asparagus, fresh broccoli, sautéed spinach, grilled summer vegetables, and real mashed potatoes. Dessert choices are just as good and numerous and baked on the premises. Almost all beverages are bottomless.Overall, their prices are more reasonable than other comparable restaurants. In addition, they also offer numerous meals at a value rate and offer a special senior citizen menu for 55 plus with various selections covering all three meal options and all at exceptionally good prices. They also consistently offer discount coupons and run specials for birthdays and charities. The atmosphere and decor is pleasant and they can easily accommodate large groups. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion at any time of the day.
My sister and I had breakfast at Perkins. We split a meal and we were STUFFED and still brought home a muffin to another sister! We shared an omelet and hash browns. The meal also came with choice of toast, muffin and there were other choices. We brought a huge chocolate chip muffin with chocolate icing home. Service was great, food was great. We were there on a Tuesday at about 10am so they werent very busy though. 😀
I have actually been going to this Perkins for about 15 years. Their food is generally good and inexpensive. Their service other than weekends leaves a little bit to desire. I would recommend this restaurant for a family who wants a nice wholesome dinner. They give discounts on Tuesdays and they also give discounts to all service men and women.
In my lifetime, I may have eaten at Perkins more than any other single restaurant. Growing up, my dad liked Perkins, my Grandma liked Perkins, my good buddy worked at Perkins in HS, etc. So that history is baked into my rating, no pun intended. Went there the other night for the first time in years and, to no surprise, nothing has changed. Literally. And thats great, Perkins serves a niche, albeit a fairly broad one, and it shouldnt change. Food is fine, price is fine, service is good (to be clear good>fine). Now, about this recent visit - my GF specifically told the server that she had a dairy intolerance and asked if the soup she was about to order was made with milk. Server said no and the transaction was carried out. A few hours pass, were long since gone, and the GF isnt feeling well. She looks up the Perkins menu online and finds that the soup in question is made with cream. Boom. Thankfully, its just an intolerance and not an allergy, so the symptoms passed. If it was the other way around, however, shed be SOL and this would be a one star review accompanied by my angry old-man rhetoric. Shortly thereafter, she reached out to Perkins to complain, via email, and, to their credit, they were very responsive and reached out with both email and a phone call.
The pancakes I had last Sat. were terrible! At the bottom of those were burning! & thin!! And theyre hard to eat! My first time in my life! I told the manager about those! She gave me another ones, theyre still burning! And she gave me those too quickly! They shouldve cooked longer! Someone in the kitchen must be New or need to train how to make pancakes properly! ! They shouldve taken off my bill! I was shocked! Poor breakfast ! Sorry to say it! My right saying it! Bec. I ordered and paid for terrible pancakes Id ever eaten!another onmanager
My Dad and I caught this Perkins still OPEN. (with this chains 2017s disasterious pairing with the bankrupt Marie Callenders) I was surprised to see one still in operation. (58 Perkins restaurants have been closed down) Perkins restrants have always been a must stop in and eat at, when Im north of the Mason Dixon. The staff here is friendly, courteous and very inviting. Daniella was our waitress, country charming and very professiinal. Food was tasty, and our orders were spot on. Nice to see they leave a pot of coffee at the table, when your drinking it. The French toast does make me miss New Orleans Style French toast though, but thats what you go to Nawlens (New Orleans) for. Had a nice enjoyable breakfast, and its easy to understand why this location is still open, and doing wonderful business. Take a moment when your in the area to stop and see what fast food, awesome service and a fulfilling meal is like. If the service at the remaining Perkins Restaurants is as good as this one. Im sure theyll be up and running at full steam again. At times we all make bad mistakes, hopefully this is one that this chain can weather and be the better for it. Again, thanks to our waitress and the rest of the staff here... Good People, Good food and Awesome service is what weathers the storms. Keep it Alive, service like this at a fast food chain is becoming scarce.
They really need to clean this place. Im from Youngstown and went back for business. My family who still lives there wanted to eat here and wow...I really didnt want to. The food tasted the way I remember..but the decor is outdated. The ceiling/walls had been badly repaired in some areas and needed to be repaired in others..and they didnt paint over the repaired areas after..just blotches of bad repair work and brown remnants of past leaks.
Worst experience ever. Understaffed, slow service, terrible food, the place looked horrific inside. The restroom was a mess and as my wife said it was like a meat locker in there. The booth seats were ripped, the window dressings were a mess. The best thing they could do would be to close and demolish the place and try again.
I grew up going to this place while in high school. I was in town and I hadn’t been there for many years. I order food to go a burger meat, steak and eggs and cobb salad all the food was good great service. I had a vanilla milkshake as well but the taste of that was NOT good, that’s the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.
We came in just at the end of the day. I ordered a dinner and he ordered a late night special. This wold not work with a BOGO coupon for dinners. I asked if I could possibly add on a Pot Roast Stroganoff. She had to see if there was enough left. She said there was not any ready to go.The Mgr came over a few minutes later and said that she found a bag and that she could do it. I was very pleasantly surprised!!
Toast was black..bacon was black on one side and raw on the other..guess that is their bacon crisp..cannot scramble an egg at all..french toast was burnt all around edges and DRY...and my 2 year olds plate was dripping with grease!! The waitress should have NEVER brought these plates to our table. I handed her the toast and asked for it to not come back burnt and she said oh well our toaster is out of whack so...i asked that my food just be taken away and if she could bring bacon out that was a little more cooked.. she said do you want me to get your food from another kitchen?..After nearly an hour of sitting there and only having a piece of toast she brings the check and said she was TOLD to offer me muffins from the bakery for all my mishaps. I came here to eat breakfast..not for muffins..Her only comment was sometimes the cooks are with it and sometimes theyre not.I left disgusted and hungry..will NOT be back!
Id give no stars but I cant so 1 is all they get. Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning I get its after church and they are busy but my husband food was ice cold after waiting for 45 minutes my daughter also found a fly in her hashbrowns. We will not be back. Worse dining experience
The food is okay if you dont have one of those cooks that will throw it on the floor and then put it on the grill and sprayed with water and serve it to you..then you lucky or you hear them cursing to each other I cant forget her then youre good but where ear plugs especially in the morning. 😱😖😬
Without a doubt the dirtiest sketchiest restaurant I have ever step foot in .The mens restroom has such an overbearing smell that it permeates and overtakes the entire Lobby.AlsoAs for adults met for coffee and iced tea as we had already ate dinner, when we ordered beverages the waitress Danielle said thats it?And then whined oh jeez...#NeverAgain
Went to use the restroom and it was full. Waited a few minutes, went back in and someone had crapped all over the seat and floor! Disgusting!! I went to the counter and told them about it! 20 minutes later, they still had not had anyone go in and clean it! I was afraid to eat after that. If they dont care to clean that immediately, then I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen must be!!! 😟 Dissapointed.
Worst Perkins I have ever been to. Infested with nats. The cooks never wear gloves. So people prepare to become sick after eating here. I have! The managers and servers are so rude! My friends and I witnessed the manager screaming at a server telling her she was a bad server and that she was disrespectful. Making the server cry infront of us. All the server was doing was cleaning because she didnt have customers. Its just the worst. I would really recommend that they close this store! The managers name is Nancy. I couldnt caught the servers name.
Kind Manager, and Staff/ Servers here in Boardman, Ohio. I’m a Native from Austintown/Youngstown Areas’ , so I do know a lot of the Boardman, Ohio Area. There’s a lot of Shopping, in this Location of Boardman, Ohio. (After your Amazing Breakfast of course.) Go for the Triple-Eggs Special first, then come Back and try out their Salads here. They’re Both; delicious, and Healthy for The Breakfast and The Lunch Hours here!!! God Bless this Perkins Restaurant, and Bakery (Location).
Perkins is what youd expect from a chain diner, except slightly worse. The quality of their food varies widely day to day, and you never know what youre going to get. Its 2017 and they dont offer iced coffee. Its cheap though, and their 20% veterans discount is the only reason I keep coming back

2022-06-13We were seated and a waitress came & took our drink order, said our waitress will be with us shortly, we waited & waited, a waitress came finally, asked if we were ready, we said yes, she said you need more time, Ill be back & left. Another one finally came, we spent more time waiting, she forgot part of the order, when she finally brought it we were almost done with our meal. I inquired about the salad to go we ordered she said it was almost done. More waiting. When we got home this is what the salad looked like that they gave us (my daughter ate the strawberries), it was supposed to be a strawberry, walnut & grilled chicken salad with spinach greens. The chicken was barley cooked, definitely not grilled.I have never had such bad service or poor quality food before. Definitely wont be going back there again.

2022-06-28Service was great with pretty decent menu, could use a bit of a adjustment utility overall good. The food was pretty good but I was shocked when I got my country fried steak, I was shocked cause it was a frozen breaded meat patty!! Really people we dont know how to make country fried steak, I mean its in the name. Could have also used more gravy for the steak. The overall service was awesome and the waitress left us wanting for nothing. The decor of the establishment could be brought up to date a bit but it was clean so big plus

2022-07-01Sometimes people under rate Perkins. But you can get a decent meal and our service has generally been great. Where else an you get breakfast while your husband gets turkey dinner. There deserts are good also. Im sure during high peak times it is busy. Usually we get in and get out. It can be a nice change. But if you want specialty then go to that place. Its more like a neighborhood place. Hope it doesnt change.

2022-05-23I ordered the grilled salmon with garlic seasoning, baked potato and broccoli. The cook did an amazing job. Our server Tina was outstanding, sense of humor and friendly. I was well pleased with my Sunday dinner. The price was appropriate.

2022-04-14My boyfriend was hired into this establishment two weeks ago. There was paperwork that needed to be filled out that required an email. The hiring manager was given three emails to send the paperwork to. The paperwork would not load. From not one. But three different emails. He went into the location to see if the could help him get it figured out. I do believe he was told to wait a couple days to see if it would work. It never did. Let me remind you he either called or stopped into this restaurant nearly every day since being hired to check on the issue of the paperwork. To get there he walks a couple Miles (if this doesnt show you dedication I dont know what does). He got there today to be told that the hiring manager and the gm said the were going to pass in him now due to their faulty paperwork that probably could have been printed and given to him to fill out by hand. The dedication he showed not even working yet you probably dont even get with the workers you have. Ignorance complete ignorance. I will be talking to cooperate. What you guys did to him is not ok by any means.

2022-07-05We went there on the 4th of July and had no trouble getting seated. We had coffee, brioche French toast, pancakes, bacon, eggs and everything was tasty. I took my French toast home and finished it for breakfast the next morning.

2022-06-09My wife and I decided to Door Dash food from Perkins. It normally lets us get our food from the Austintown location, but for some reason it ordered from the Boardman location this time. We got our order and we were missing our pie we ordered. The salmon also had something hard and plastic like in it. We have also been to this location a few times in person while in Boardman and literally every time we go to this location we have a problem with our orders. Austintown rarely has any problems.
