Mark Johnson is great to work with!!! He was very prompt and answered all our questions and concerns. We had Dennis Petrosky come to give an estimate for a sliding glass door for our porch. He was early for the appointment and was very professional giving all the information we need to make a good choice for our door. I never felt pressured to purchase today as I am sharing the information with my husband tonight. The price was expected with several options available to finance the product. I had 2 pella patio doors installed in my house and one of them has a bad seal in it by the lock and handle. I called building 9 where I purchased them they had a pella rep by the name of Noah call me he left a voicemail mail and I tried calling pella rep back several times and left messages and he never called back so now I have a brand new patio door with a bad seal in between the glass and vinyl and the lock is rubbing into the vinyl ....their customer service is horrible guess I’ll buy Anderson next time
Gina Smith is by far one of the most knowledgable and enthusiastic sales reps that i have ever dealt with. On time and responsive Gina answers every phone call, text or email in a timely manner. Her knowledge of Pella products is second to none and she will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and get exactly what you want! We have used this Pella service twice (once for patio door replacement and once for window replacement). Now we are planning on the third window replacement. We had Pella install 2 sets of custom windows in our kitchen. Justin Lind took care of everything from start to finish - and everything went smoothly. The windows look great and function perfectly.
We first met Dennis at the home and garden show. They had a display that was just what we were looking for! Dennis came out to our home and worked with us to create the front door and new slider. Of course with all big purchases Dennis had to come out several different times to tweak the design of the doors, he never pressured us to make a decision and called to let us know that a price increase was going to happen soon. Please if you are considering Pella Windows or Doors do not purchase any of their products. The videos that are in this post are of our patio sliding door which was installed last year. The patio door leaks with every rain that we get and it has happened almost 5 times within the past two months. The rain starts and the door track fills up and eventually will spill over onto the floor. Pella technicians from Cleveland have come out multiple times and their attempt at a resolution was to drill more drainage holes into the door base which has not helped at all. We were also told by the tech we don’t have any trees planted behind our house so there’s nothing to block the rain and wind. On top of all this he also told us that this was a freak accident and this won’t happen again. Pella has no desire to help its customers and this is shown by the actions and comments of their lazy technicians and customer service. Every window and door in our new home is Pella. I wish we could rip them all out and replace them with a better company brand. I have videos of the water coming in but I can’t upload those. Avoid these clowns.

Dennis Petrosky came to do our free in home consultation. He was on time, and during the consultation he was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He also gave us multiple quotes to consider in making our decision for our window improvement project. Additionally he showed us samples so we could see Pella’s products.
Mike Peronek, the sales person weve user for all our windows and doors over the years has been GREAT. I wouldnt consider calling another company because of him and the quality of the products that Pella makes.

We contracted with Pella to replace a very large, six panel Bow window. It was during the early stages of the coronavirus when protocols were being established. They were able to come out to our house to measure for the replacement window so that fabrication could begin. We dealt with Mr. Denis Petrosky, and he was prompt and kept us informed of the status and the installation date.We signed our contract on April 17, and installation was scheduled for June 11, 2020. They had anticipated one day for removal and installation, and it was installed in a day, but they needed a few extra hours on a second day, because they wanted to take their time to make sure the trim was done right.Now, six months after installation, we are pleased with the finished project and would not hesitate to use them again.

From the start of the sales process with Deb Sharrits and Paul Burford to the installation this was a very positive experience. Deb and Paul walked us through the options and sent us away with great information and enough information to make easy decisions on choosing the type of replacement windows. The installation crew finished up the window installation today and I cant say enough good about Dan (crew leader), Cory and Tyler. I have been in construction for most of my adult life and I am probably hard to please. These three guys were excellent craftsmen. They solved problems quickly, were polite and friendly, cleaned up after themselves, and went out of their way to help me . I highly recommend them. This is our second project with Mark Johnson. Previously we had all the windows and a few doors replaced, and since that project was so smooth and the results were excellent, we of course called Mark again when we needed some additional doors. The entire process is easy - no high pressure sales tactics, very transparent about product, process and cost. I would recommend Mark and Pella to anyone looking for high quality doors and windows. Wife and I are initiating a muti-year project to replace all windows and main door(s) at our house (11 rooms, 2 baths), starting with our kitchen (sliding door, viewing windows) and family room. We met Kent Warth at the Home & Garden Show, he was friendly, accommodating, informative, and professional. Kent was prompt and respectful during the home visit, discussed options for our sliding door and windows, and made us feel comfortable about our plans. At the showroom in Fairlawn, he spent a lot of time with us (more than we expected) and helped our decision on the initial phase of our project. Kudos to Kent Warth, we cant wait for installation this spring so we can start enjoying opening our house to the outdoors with warmer weather.

Mark Johnson was on time and helped us select a large bow window replacement. We got an earlier install date than we expected. We will update the review after installation.Update: They installed the bow window, but cracked a pane. They installed a new pane a month later. Everything was slow due to a back up at the factory.

Overall, weve had a good experience with Pella Windows & Doors Akron and will use them again in the future. Mark Johnson was our Sales rep. He was really knowledgeable, honest, and patient with us as we tried to decide on windows. We love that when consulting with us Mark was candid about what needed replaced and what could wait. He was never pushy like some other salesmen weve experienced. Oh, and when it came to color matching and design suggestions he was spot on. Were glad to have a Pella Rep we can trust.Due to the pandemic, our installation date did get pushed back a couple weeks at the last minute. Pella was courteous in explaining what had happened and made sure the new dates would work for us.When install day arrived, our certified Pella installers were professional, kind, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Logan and Matthew had to work through probably some of the worst weather all summer - crazy heat and humidity - along with needing to stop for multiple passing thunderstorms. They took it all in stride and did not neglect any details or rush through anything. They carefully covered up our furniture and treated our house with respect throughout install and clean-up. We would highly recommend Logan Vair and his team to anyone doing a Pella install and hope that we will get to work with him again in the future.Unfortunately, one of our windows is still not finished on the inside due to an error in manufacturing. We are grateful to Logan, our installer, for being so thorough and catching the errors and wanting to make sure it is perfect for us. The window was able to be installed, but Pellas repair team will be coming out to replace the jamb extensions and then finish the moulding on the inside when they get the new parts. While we are frustrated that his happened, it does seem to be a fluke incident and everyone, especially Andrea Vair, Pellas Inside Sales Representative, has been working hard to make sure our replacement pieces are made and installed sooner rather than later. I suppose some people would dock a point off of their Pella rating for something like this. Mistakes happen to even the best of us though and everyone has handled it professionally and as best they can with the extra burden the pandemic has put on the manufacturing side of things.Overall, we would definitely recommend Pella to anyone looking to install new windows and plan to use them again ourselves.
We have had our new windows for a few months now and are really loving how they look and how they perform. Our Pella rep Dennis has been very helpful with follow up items and the installation crew did a wonderful job with all the details - Tim and his crew are highly recommended.When I built my house in 1982 I put all Andersen windows in myself. I replaced my sliding door with a Pella several years ago and was very pleased with the quality of the door and workmanship, very professional. My wife and I decided to replace all our casement windows with Pella. The salesman, Dennis Petrosky, met with us and presented his product very professionally and there was no pressure at all. I asked him to break it down in case I wanted to do half now and half next year which he was glad to do. We decided to do all the windows at once so he came back within a week and we signed our contract and are on the schedule for May!

Dennis Petrosky, Pella Sales Representative , and Dan Murphy, Manager of Pella Replacement sales, arrived on time on July 29th to review my 20+ year old wood windows and provide a proposal, at my request, to replace all 9 windows using Pella’s fiberglass windows. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase but I have had great experience with Pella windows & doors going back to 1978. I did make the decision to purchase the Pella replacements. The installation date is in November which is great for me. I would highly recommend Dennis to consult as well as Dan if you are looking for a quality company with a quality product🤓!On Thursday, November 18, 2021, the Pella installation crew, Gary Seaton, Austin Seaton and Josh P., arrived on time & removed the old windows and installed the new Pella Impervia windows. Gary said they would return on Friday to install the exterior flashing and caulk both inside and out. They did a professional job in a timely manner and cleaned up all the floor coverings & drop cloths being careful to protect my carpeting. Great job very pleased!
I had an excellent experience yesterday meeting and working with Pellas very knowledgable Dennis Petrosky who helped us come up with a plan to replace our single front door/2 side-window panels with two full-glass double doors. As soon as I showed him a picture of what we want he went to work measuring the space. Dennis explained what could and could not be done, compatible options, made suggestions, answered a million questions, and patiently worked with me to fine-tune a proposal without being pushy. Weve had Pella windows/doors/sliders in three homes over many years. Expensive yes, but good quality and beautiful. It takes exceptional people like Dennis who know what theyre doing and are a pleasure to work with to get projects like ours started as painlessly as possible. After sitting through 4+ window manufacturers sales pitches, we chose Pella simply for the product quality and stellar sales service. We endured quite a nightmare sales presentation from one of the competitor companies. We immediately blacklisted them due to their extremely aggressive sales tactic. It was a nearly 4-hour presentation visit, and we couldnt get the salesperson to leave after politely explaining numerous times that we werent going to sign any contracts on the spot, regardless if the price would go up if we didnt sign right then and there. Pella on the other hand was fantastic to work with. Albeit expensive, Pella has many options to fit most budgets.After seeing all competitors options, we knew we needed to stick with wood windows to retain the aesthetic in our home. Vinyl window manufacturers claim their products will outlast wood windows, which is likely true, but Pellas quality and warranty made it a no-brainer. The local Pella retail showroom was impressive, too. Way better than just seeing one or two small-scale example windows that fit in a car trunk.The sales manager in Akron, Ohio, Dan Murphy, is phenomenal. His years of experience with Pella made it a breeze (pun intended) to configure our window and sliding door replacements. He was able to answer our obscure questions with precision and offer even more applicable suggestions and tips.We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

We met with Julie on Monday, 3/8/21, at the Pella showroom in Akron, Ohio to discuss the replacement of a sliding glass door. Julie was informative and knowledgeable in regard to the products offered and set us up with a home consultation. By Thursday, Mark Johnson was at our house, to discuss the details of a new door. His knowledge and knowhow were just what we needed to help us make our final decision in regard to the best door that satisfied our personal preferences. The experience thus far with the Pella folks out of Akron has been great. Door installation is scheduled for late April. Greg Brown with Pella replaced my sliding glass door and did a great job. Door fit perfectly, they color matched the interior trim to the existing. Professional installers made the new door look like it was always there, and it operates so much smoother than the door I replaced.

I will start off saying this is unfortunately not the year with COVid-19 causing such significant delays on products to do an upgrade to doors and windows for your home. I ordered 16 windows, 2 entry doors- front door and garage door, and sliding glass patio door mid May this year and it took 3 months for the windows and sliding glass doors to be installed. The garage door was defective and had to be replaced and the front door is still not in. I’m looking at the end of October for those to be in and installed.That being said, I would still highly recommend Pella for Windows and sliding glass door installation. Gary and Adam were prompt, incredibly proficient and very professional. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed properly and the framework carpentry was perfect. If I could separate the experience in this review, I would give them a 5 star for the job they did.Dan Murphy has been wonderful to work with as well. He has been available and responds back quickly to my calls. He has communicated and informed me of any changes and has really tried to make the unfortunate setback with the doors a positive experience.
I recently had Justin Lind come out to our house for a quote for windows. He was very kind, professional and on time! He seemed genuinely concerned to make sure we knew exactly what we were buying and answered all questions we had. Do NOT try to order custom windows for your own installation from Pella. They will keep a sliding scale of delivery dates putting contractors and larger orders in front of your order while you wait months and your order moves out further. They have zero integrity pertaining promised delivery dates. As for this business I do not know. Im sure they are fine but the manufacturer is a different story. If I could have left a negative I would have since this really puts me behind a few months and I have to now order from another manufacturer. Blow it out your rear Pella.

I was very pleased with my consultation with Replacement Sales Specialist, Dennis Petrosky. I had several windows in my home that were experiencing a similar issue, for which I assumed replacement was the only answer. Dennis listened to my concerns, explained why I was likely experiencing these problems, and rather than pressure me into buying new windows he made several recommendations of what I could do to correct the situation. This meant that I would not need new windows! I really appreciated his honesty and integrity, and that he didnt see me as a naive customer off of which he could make an easy sale. For this reason, I will continue to trust and use Pella for my future window needs.

⚠️ Caution! Before you order from this Pella. They will promise you order delivery dates they can’t meet. Ordered 7/26 they said 10 weeks. Door was supposed to be delivered 10/6, still no door and they are not responsive to inquiries. Has totally stalled our major renovation project and cost us significantly. Worst part is not even an apology or offer to discount our order. We are racking up housing costs as we can’t live in our house without doors or windows. Note: this review is specific to Pella Cleveland and their office in Fairlawn.
It was such a pleasure to deal with Mark Johnson, the replacement sales specialist for Pella Windows and Doors of Akron. He was very prompt for our meeting regarding an estimate for new doors for our home. He took time to listen to our wants and needs and did not make us feel rushed. After our face-to-face (Covid appropriate) meeting, we had additional questions that we sent to him via email. He was very prompt in his response and thorough in his answers to our questions. We will definite contact them in the future should we decide to replace our windows.
We called pella for a estimate on replacement windows. They scheduled a free estimate, gave us a time and date. The rep, Zach Bauer, was here on time, was very professional, very knowledgable, and did not give us one hint of pressure. We are very impressed with the quality of their product offerings. We scheduled our replacement and are looking forward to the new windows.
I had salesman Mike Peronek out to give an estimate a few years back. We weren’t quite ready to bite the bullet at that time. Mike came back out this year. He’s always been extremely informative and gives many options, explaining what might be better and why. I’ve been using Pella almost exclusively now for the last two years on all my residential remodel projects. Their pricing has been competitive and their service has been excellent.I’ve had several tricky replacement conditions in older homes. The Pella sales rep came out on multiple locations to help troubleshoot. I’ve always had great responsiveness from the local rep (Thanks, Rebekah!), and anything she didn’t have immediate answers for, she followed up promptly with resources from the broader Pella team.Windows are a product you want to get a lot of life out of, so I like knowing Pella will be around if I have any warranty issues. There’s a lot of window companies that haven’t been in business long or go bankrupt and change their name. Warranties from these types of companies aren’t worth much. I had one warranty issue with a sash that wasn’t moving well. The root cause had more to do with the old house expanding and contracting, but the technician still came out promptly and helped tweak the window so it operated well.Their lead time is about 4-5 weeks for custom windows. Also take into consideration the schedule of your local qualified installer, there isn’t always going to be the best installer free the day you want them so plan ahead. Deliveries have always been right on time with helpful drivers that help unload.
Great salesman helped us through every detail felt like we had a friend before we were done work is not done yet but if it goes as smoothe as buying and picking the door paella has me for reference anytime

Honestly I haven’t purchased anything as of yet from Pella but their salesman Justin Lind makes a great impression for the company. He’s a straight up honest guy and I believe him to be a man of integrity. When I get ready to buy I will definitely give him a call.
Gary & Adam did a fantastic job installing our new Pella Windows. They did the extra, to make sure everything was done right. Very professional crew. They had to be to meet my wife’s high standards. Even the clean up was excellent. I would recommend this crew to anyone. Also the Pella Windows are a great asset to our home.
We needed our screen door fixed that had been installed along with the replacement door to our deck. Since we had the Pella warranty and installation under Joe DeLuca, we called him. Without any hassle whatsoever we agreed upon a mutually acceptable date. Alan Schultz was sent to do the needed work. Alan did an excellent job, and he was respectful and courteous. The whole work was done with professionalism and integrity. Pella stood behind their warranty. My wife and I are happy with our experience with Pella.
Thinking of replacing our front door. Zach Bauer was on time as scheduled. He explained the process to us and suggested ways to save money. His knowledge and experience was very helpful. Would do business with him and Pella again.
Matthew Zervos was the most helpful of the service people we used in a recent storm window replacement. It took me a long time to get help -when Matt arrived he was very professional and helped me understand what the problem was in getting replacement storm window inserts. He represented Pella very well. He is to be commended.
Was interested in installing a bay window, and we had recently installed pella garage windows ourselves. Continuing with pella, Dennis petrosky visited our home to answer all of our questions. Dennis is very professional, thorough, kind and knowledgeable about the process. We absolutely Love our Pella Casement windows. We decided on the Designer Series with Shades between the glass for the privacy and the triple pane glass keeps our solarium nice and warm in the winter. Dan Murphy was a great to work with, he new exactly what we needed. The installation team also did a great job, very neat and clean. We would highly recommend the Pella team to anyone looking for the best.
Went in to attempt to purchase a sliding door. After finding one that we were interested in, they would not give us an estimate on the cost until they came to measure (we had exact measurements we just wanted an estimate on cost). We were told they had to “write it up” but couldn’t do it that day because they needed someone to enter us into the system to get a special order number? We still have not received the promised quote via email. Go to Hartville Hardware and look at Provia doors and windows! Their warranties are MUCH better than Pella, products are superior and their customer service is superb. We even hit their 15% off sale!

We just got our new Pella slider installed today! We are so pleased with Pella as an organization. First, our sales leader, Dan Murphy, was so friendly and promptly responded with questions we had. He offered us his best price and streamlined the whole process. Second was the install. We have a beautiful wood floor in our kitchen where the slider was being installed and I was worried it would get scratched. The installers covered the whole floor and were very careful not to damage walls, etc. They were also so friendly and I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with them!All-in-all, the whole experience of purchasing and installation was so positive that I wanted to reach out to future buyers to let you know how awesome our sales person, Dan Murphy, as well as the organization was to us! We LOVE the door, it is beautiful, and look forward to showing it off to our family and friends. We highly recommend!!
Dennis came to our house for an estimate on windows and a sliding glass door. He spent time explaining the options and products. Their was no pressure, and at first we were not going to order now and he was okay with that. We ended up ordering before he left. He was so kind and patient. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Recently we had Mark Johnson to our home for an estimate regarding replacing our windows. We appreciated his kind manner and humor. Mr. Johnsons professionalism and knowledge of the products permitted us to gain the information we needed to help us make our decision about replacing our windows. We appreciate his timely presentation and not being pressured into a final decision that evening. Mr. Johnson was very kind to answer our questions with understanding that, this is an expensive project. We appreciated his time with us. My husband and I are still considering his offer.
This is the second time that we have worked with Mark Johnson for windows for our homes. Both times we were very pleased with his responsiveness and the information presented during our purchases. His sales presentation was not a pushy sales pitch, and he was easy to work with. Our first installation went as planned with no issues, and the installers cleaned up like promised. Along with a good product, these are the reasons that we chose Pella windows for our new home.
Dan Murphy and everyone at Pella windows was fabulous to work with. They were trustworthy, dependable and professional. Our new front doors change the entire look of our house and we love it! I will use Pella again in the future and will highly recommended them to friends.

We purchased all new windows for our house last year. Approximately 32 total. Paul Burford was and is fabulous to work with on any project. He has a great team and we couldn’t be happier with our windows. Paul will work with you to provide the best fit for your home and budget. We are in the process of adding another Pella window into a newly remodeled room, and we didn’t hesitate to go to Paul and Pella. Paul was quick to order one that matches our existing windows. Thank you also to Alanna from his team who responds quickly and efficiently when we call or email. You can’t go wrong with Paul and Pella!
Everything about dealing with Pella has been great - from the initial sales process with Dan Murphy, to the installation, and the follow up maintenance. The service team is tremendous as well. The quality of the door, along with the service and warranty, made this worth the investment.

2022-03-23Windows were delivered an installed on time, and they have performed well over the winter. The room into which they ere installed remained warm throughout the cold winter. Justin, our Pella sales agent, was professional and knowledgeable throughout the process, and he carefully explained the various aspects of window design and features. I am very pleased, and he will be returning soon to discuss the replacement of a large bay window and front entry door. I highly recommend Justin and the rest of the Pella team.

We had special consideration for lead removal with our windows and (though they are not licensed to remove lead) they took every precaution to make sure that our old windows were safely removed and new ones installed. 2022-03-23Our experience with Pella so far has been very positive. We contacted them in December to replace an entry door. Our rep, Justin Lind has been very professional, helpful and meticulous during the initial review/quotation stage. He answered our questions and had his manager stop by to make sure that everything was correct etc. before any work is done. Though we are waiting for the install date, he has kept in touch with us regarding our status. We will add comments after the work is completed.

2022-03-28Justin Lind has been awesome to work with! We have an extremely tight schedule and he has worked with us every step of the way to make sure we are getting our materials on time. After first delivery, they stopped out to check and make sure all windows were delivered properly and undamaged. For the few that were broken, he was quick with lining up replacements and he has been extremely helpful and responsive in getting us replacement windows for ones that have been damaged onsite by others. Highly recommend Justin and Pella for any of your window needs!

2022-08-01Im in the market for residential replacement windows and Im getting several quotes. I contacted Pella and they were able to schedule a consult within two days. Dennis P., the sales specialist, was professional, thorough, informative, prompt and friendly. He contacted me the morning of our meeting to ask if I wanted to take an earlier slot since he had a cancellation. I appreciated this courtesy. So Dennis came over early.He assessed and measured every one of my sixty-one windows, explained everything he saw, and developed proposals for various options. Ive not yet selected a vendor but Dennis was an excellent representative of Pella and Gunton.

2022-07-07I had Dennis P. come over for an estimate for a sliding door. He listened to what I wanted and put together a price based on my wants. He did not try to upsell me anything extra nor did I feel pressured. He thoroughly answered any questions and concerns I had. He also met me at the showroom after our in-home visit that day and I added the roll-away sliding screen which I think is an amazing and unique option for a sliding door.If you are looking for windows or doors with Pella, definitely request Dennis to be your sales person when you call.

2022-02-24I wanted to see what new Pella windows would cost (and if buying new ones was the right answer) for a house I recently moved into. The house already had Pella windows from the 80s and 90s, and I wasnt sure if they needed to be updated. Mark Johnson looked at the windows and gave me his honest opinion about possible next steps, with cost estimates for new windows being one option, and then trying some basic maintenance/Pella service as the other. I appreciated the honesty, as this would have been an expensive investment with all new windows. It was great to know that windows from 30+ years ago were still in great shape and able to be used going forward. Thank you!
