They saved my butt today. My vehicle died on me on Route 90 today, and the driver (whose name I cannot remember) was outstanding. We were on the side of a very busy freeway, with crazy close traffic, and he didnt even bat an eyelash, he had my jeep hooked up in 5 minutes and we were rolling! We had a great conversation about music and trucks, and he dropped me off at the mechanics shop in record time. Im sorry I forgot your name sir, but Ill remember your face. If I ever see you out and about Ill buy you a beer. Thank you for saving a guy!!
Dispatched by roadside to bring my car home, so was a truly blind experience, but couldnt have been happier. Dispatch was friendly and professional, they beat the projected dispatch time by over half an hour, and the driver was excellent. The truck was clean, well kept, and modern, and the driver was quick, professional, and capable. Very content.
Bob was amazing. He was friendly, polite, quick and knowledgeable about what he was doing. My whole interaction with this company has been great. From their supporte beginning with my tear filled phone call, to Bob handing me my keys, I could not have been more pleased or grateful for our transaction. I highly recommend them.
I was driving my Aunts car on a Friday night. It broke down which has never happened to her car before. I called three different towing places before I called Patton’s. All of them gave me an excuse on why they couldn’t except Patton’s. The man who answered the phone was nice and professional. Told me he could help me with a tow, no problem. Within 20 mins a tow truck arrived. The driver, Spencer, was so nice and friendly. Told him it was my Aunts car and to please be careful. He told me not to worry and her car was in good hands. He was so professional and patient with me ( I may have been having a mental breakdown) He let me sit in the truck and get warm until my ride showed up, while he froze and took great care of her car. He was absolutely amazing and so nice. I am highly impressed with the entire experience I had with Patton’s from start to finish.
Had a barn find that had to be extracted from a garage after sitting 17 years. Junior from Pattons showed up promptly on time and used all his skills and expertise to smoothly get that vehicle moved to its next location drama-free - outstanding job and will definitely use them again!Great work!
Not too sure why they only have 3 stars on here. The only issue I would even possibly bring up is that the wait was longer than I was quoted but I really cant complain because its a Saturday and its right before christmas. Totally understandable that they would be busy. The driver was super nice. He even checked my battery and tried to start my car for me. They were very reasonably priced and the driver was thorough, patient and kind. My car was towed within 10 minutes after. He arrived. Job well done.
I called to request a tow guy shows up and calls my 17 year olds car junk. He then starts car without permission. Whole purpose of getting tow was not to start car! Now may have major engine damage! Driver then refuses to tow and leaves flipping me off. Call Payton’s for other driver and they refuse to send because of this issue.
Don’t do it! This place is HORRIBLE!!! Nobody working the desk is on the same page so all they do is lie and waste your time with a little attitude on the side. They didn’t tell me I’d need another valid driver to pick up MY car with my VALID LICENSE!! You won’t get any change back after they charge you a ridiculous price for towing. Almost $230 for less than 24 hrs!! If they’re collecting exact cash all day, you’d think they’d be decent enough to accommodate and give you your exact change. They should be ashamed. Paul was decent, but I still would never use this company or recommend it. Good luck.
Called my insurance company for a tow and they called another company first. I waited 3 hours until they finally called Pattons and they got to me in less than a half hour. Junior was friendly and professional and efficient. He was also very pleasant and made me smile when I was visibly upset (who wouldnt be when you have to wait three hours for a tow truck). He also shared some valuable information that I didnt know. If I ever need a tow in the future, I will be using Pattons.
I had them tow a car to my house. On the way out they ripped a wire off the house. The guy got out of his car, looked at it, saw his truck was fine, then left. He ripped the siding off. Never got a call or inquiry from management. Not to mention they were 2 hours past their promise time. Plus you can only pay in cash. Whole operation seems shady.
The employee that came to tow my vehicle was extremely rude and condescending from the very first minute of interaction. When someone is in the position that they need to call a tow truck theyre already having a horrible day, adding to the stress of it just makes you look unprofessional and callous. Ive let State Farm know about my experience, in more detail, and I hope they take this service provider off their call list.
Brian at Pattons was kind, personable and genuine. You could tell he truly cared about the customer. We got a flat on the way to a camping trip and roadside assistance sent Pattons Towing to us. Brian helped us through many unforeseen obstacles with our lug nuts, going above and beyond to get us back on the road. Honestly after all was said and done we had smiles on our faces. I dont know much about the facility but judging by this employee I would recommend calling them.
Motorcycle got towed to Pattons. They charged me $150 for the tow (which was at most 4 miles), but by the time all the fees were accounted for, it was $350+. These guys are prefered towing for Fairview police department, so they know they will get business no matter how much they charge. They are making bad situations even worse for people who probably dont have much money to begin with. Cash only, no change. As others have stated: absolute thieves.
My wife was in an accident in Olmsted Falls. Police work with Pattons. Had it towed there by their choice, not mine. Car was towed in around 5pm and picked up at about 1:30pm the next day. They close at 5pm. Charged me $276.48!!! Really???? It wasnt even 24 hours!!Then wanted to argue with me about it being my car. I was never told to bring registration when I called. They did tell me about the cash only deal but nothing else. I confronted this woman and she said she told me to bring registration. I called her a liar and told her to tell me to my face she said that...she couldnt. They are all so very rude!Went to get my car with my trailer and I had to change the tire so I could load it up. Owner came out running his mouth like an idiot. We went round and round. Told me I had 20 minutes to get off his property with or without my car. I told him I would not pay anymore fees. He said Oh yes you will. I said Oh no I wont. Sounds like kidnapping to me only with a car. I got the hell out of there as quick as possible. B.S. Boy if I ever get my car towed there again Im taking my pistol with me! (for protection, of course)BEWARE....DONT GO THERE!!!! A**HOLES.
Was stranded late at night. Quoted a price on the phone of $84 which I was more than happy to spend to go the 3 miles home....After the man arrived he was very rude and said: lady I dont know what they told you...but this is at least $150 job. He said, you pulled off the road. Well duh....I didnt want to cause an accident in the middle of nowhere in the dark. Left me stranded there. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone.
Jacob saved the day!The recent snowstorm trapped one of my friends driving into the neighborhood. After failing miserably to dig her car out, we flagged down the tow truck that just pulled my neighbor in, and after discussing the rates (very reasonable), Jacob told my friend and me to hop in his truck to warm up while he prepped the car for towing. (Side note: the man is a pro at operating that tow/lift... I imagine he completely cleaned out those crane games when he was a kid haha). Once we get to the house, Jacob jumps out and starts helping me shovel a spot for the car! Not only that... he put a piece of wood under her tires so she could get out easier! The man saved the day in so many ways!TLDR: Would definitely recommend Pattons, Jacob went above and beyond what I would ever expect, much less in the middle of a snowstorm.Pro-tip: If no one is hurt, and youre just stuck, skip calling the police and call Pattons directly... I paid less than half of what the neighbor paid with his police fees added.
This place is a complete rip off and shouldnt be allowed to do business. They have had my car less than 12 hrs and charged me 250 dollars and it was towed less than 10 miles. Ive had a car towed from Akron to Cleveland for less. They are ridiculously overpriced and should be shut down asap. Dont do business with them.
The front axle on my car broke in the middle of a parking garage, preventing 56 other cars from being able to exit the garage. The garage had extremely low clearance (6 3 clearance), and no other tow company in the area would touch this job, not even Lakewood, Cleveland, or Rocky River police departments. I called around to different companies hearing no over and over again for ~8 hours, then I finally found these guys! These guys handled the job like pros! If it werent for them, my car would still be blocking everyone else in that parking garage. I cant recommend them enough, theyll be the first company I call for any future towing needs!
I would imagine that they are rarely called when things are going well for someone. Things were going very badly for me tonight, but Jacob from Pattons went above and beyond to help. On top of bending backwards to help me, he wouldnt even accept a tip for going through all the trouble. I wouldnt recommend going through everything I went through tonight, but Id recommend Pattons for getting you out of trouble.
My car slid on ice and went off the road. olmstead police dept. had my car towed by Pattons. My car was there from Weds early afternoon to Thurs at 4. Pattons charged me $270.99 for the tow and 2 day storage. When I asked about the charges at first I was told because they pulled my car from a ditch it was $75.00 for that $40.00 for storage and $136. for the tow.. When I said it wasnt a ditch they said they pulled it from the snow but at the time there wasnt much snow just a coating. Beware of the charges! The so called lady behind the counter was very rude. Even though I had called them 3 times that day they never told me it was cash only. If you have ever had a bad experience with them, PLEASE call Olmsted Police and make a complaint.
If I could give no stars I would. They towed a car from a parking lot we were told we could park in until 9. Walked out to get in the car at 8:40 the car was gone. They had the car less then an hour and charged us $124.20. completely ridiculous. And not to mention the worker there was a complete jerk.

2022-07-03Outstanding service! My 2007 Nissan 350Z unexpectedly wouldnt start and needed to be towed to my mechanic. I called my insurance company (USAA) and they immediately put me in touch with Pattons Towing. Original ETA was 60-90 minutes but the driver called about ten minutes later and told me he was on his way. My car sits very low to the ground but Spencer hooked up the chains and loaded it on his flat-bed like a pro. He was very friendly and professional and took great care of my car during the entire process. Pattons definitely made a stressful situation much easier. Great job all around and a huge shout-out to Spencer. Thank you!

2022-04-14Blaine came to pull my car out of my grass. What should’ve been a simple pull turned into almost an hour job and became pretty complex. He treated my car like it was a baby. Previous companies destroyed my heat shield, cracked my bumper and dragged my car so far on my gravel driveway I dropped gravel for weeks while driving. This company, specifically this driver, took every single precaution he could and literally tested my car like a baby. My car is my livelihood and a new one isn’t an option for me. Blaine was kind, courteous, respectful, understanding and again BEYOND gentle with my car. I hope he gets the credit he deserves. He could’ve hooked it and dragged it but instead took his time and was gentle. Thank you Blaine and thank you Patton’s Towing.

2022-04-05Just had a phenomenal experience with Pattons Towing... the dispatcher at the office was prompt, courteous and respectful of my time and scheduled my tow without issue. Dave, the driver who picked up my vehicle, was not only on-time but a few minutes early, much to my surprise (and a HUGE relief from my last tow experience). Pure professionalism throughout. Will not hesitate to use again, if/when the need arises. Well done, Pattons!

2022-06-24Quoted me an hour, was there in 30-45 min. He even tried to jump my car, after we had tried for an hour. He was able to get it to start, but the dealership still wanted it towed. Waited for me to talk to the dealership and even offered to drive me there. Top notch service, incredibly patient and knowledgeable. So very thankful for them turning my early morning disaster into a positive experience.

2022-05-24I was broke down at a gas station and I had my three year old son with me. Spencer showed up to tow my car quickly and called in advance to let me know he was close by. Spencer was an amazing guy, he helped get me squared away but more importantly he took the time to talk with my son and made him feel included and special all while getting my car on the tow truck. He made my sons night and transported my car to the dealership in an efficient and safe manner. If I ever need a tow again, I’m calling Pattons and asking for Spencer, because that guy has it all figured out!

2021-11-24If your respectful, they will help you out. When I was pulled out of my car, someone took a knife out of my pocket and set it in the divet of my hood and windshield. When i got my car two days later, my knife remained untouched, same place as where the guy left it. At that point my car was buried 3 cars deep in their lot so it had to have been looked at and seen by almost everyone who works there.Good people if youre good people is all im sayin. Its a pretty decent towing company

2022-07-06I want to give a shout out to Matt for coming through for me today when two other companies never showed up! A State Farm agent by the name of Craig hooked me up with Pattons Towing and Matt showed up in less then 30 minutes! He handled my car with care and even sent me pictures of my car when he dropped it off at the mechanics! Very sweet guy! May God bless him!

2022-07-08My car was just dropped off by PJ of Pattons Towing and we could not have been happier with our service. Not only was the tow reasonably priced for a 45minute drive back to our home, at 4pm on a Friday; but the positive and helpful attitude from our driver was phenomenal! I had our 3 year old son with me when I broke down and he was excellent with him, helping to keep him happy through this whole process. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you again PJ!

2022-05-20Spencer was quick and efficient at changing my tire on the side of the highway. I can change a tire but with fast traffic & my kids, I’d rather not. So shout out to Spencer for helping us out of a jam on the side of the road in about 30 min!

2022-05-10Junior was the person that came to assist me with my Car! He was wonderful, kind, patient and Prompt! He knew exactly what to do to help my car be free from being stuck on a large rock at Wendys in North Ridgeville. He used the tow truck to gently lift my car from the rock it was stuck on without any damage to my Car! He also helped me a couple weeks ago to jump my battery. He was a great personal guy to be sent to help me out!! Thanks Junior!! This is from Chris Ries!!
