Absolutely amazing! Samantha and the rest of the team went above and beyond for me.I was responsible for putting together a birthday party for my best friend and I was beyond stressed doing it. When my mind was all over the place and It was difficult for me to put together the balloon decorations I needed, Samantha took control of the situation and helped put me at ease.I was able to tell Samantha what I was trying to do and she not only helped create my balloon decorations, she made sure that they got to the party location.If it was not for Samantha and the Party City team my friends party would have looked so basic. However, they helped make my friends birthday event an elegant affair.Thank you so much, Samantha and the Party City Team! You are Rockstars!
No helium and no st paddy say ducks even though the web site says they have them.
Redesign of the store is nice. More light it seems. Also almost always have what we need for parties.....except jello shot cups that dont scrape your mouth. Dont like the clear ones they have now.
Ordered 12 balloons with high float for an evening pickup (7pm) due to hosting a bday party early the next day. By 10am the next day balloons were struggling to stay up. I’ve ordered before and had balloons last days and these barely made it to a 10:30am party. The store was very disorganized as far as questions I asked during pickup about where my spare balloons would be that I brought. Disappointed in service and products this time.
They re-arranged the store and some of the departments are very small...disappointing
Prices seem high. And had to come back a few hours later to get two balloons filled. Didnt know you had to order ahead. New store set up is nice though!
Very happy with customer service. In March just prior to store closing because of Covid virus, I had paid for balloons to be filled and new balloons to be filled along with other items to be used in the order. 3 months later after they reopened they had all my items safely stored. They reimbursed me for correct amounts. Very happy with their efficiency and organizational skills. Very good Manager in charge. Very happy with my service..

The team was awesome. I had an last min for balloons order. They took care of me right away and made my experience great. Great customer from the cashier to the balloon lady. Thank you all for making my 30th birthday special.
I know they are remodeling but it was very difficult to find anything. We had I Mylar balloon filled which stayed inflated, then we had 6 others inflated and less than 16 hours later they were no longer inflated. That was very disappointing.
The selection of items is good, which is the only reason I shop here. Unfortunately they are the only store around that carries character party supplies for kids. Pretty much any character party you throw for your kid, they have it there. While their selection is good, their prices are very high. Also, the employees are not very friendly or helpful, they always seem bothered when you ask for help. I have encountered this almost every time I have shopped there (over the last couple years).
This is a brand new location. The setup was wonderful beautiful clean wonderful store. However, when I went to ask for help it was more important to talk about what they wanted to watch that night and they asked me to wait then to talk to the customer. Im very well aware that theyre new and still learning but definitely should hire some people with customer service background.
It wasnt that great, the staff were rude, they didnt have that much candy, or really anything else I was looking for. I would not recommend this place, the Party City in Toledo is way better.
One of my favorite places to go. I get stuff for themes for my classroom here and Im a bit addicted to the candy 10/$1 here. Always check the clearance for great deals. Stickers are really cheap along the wall on the back right hand side. They have costumes, decor, balloons, small party favors, big party favors, containers for treats. It really is the one stop shop for a party.
Okay so I looked online and the website said they had the items I was looking for....went to the store and the 2 ladies working in the store didnt even look, just pointed from the cashiers counter in the general direction of where the items should be....after scouring the whole store, the items were not there. Got back to the counter to pay and mentioned that their website said they had the items but I could not locate. She explained that sometimes the website is wrong and they dont control that.....okay...after I paid, I immediately went back to their website and ordered the items they claimed they didnt have for order pickup....LOW AND BEHOLD THEY DID HAVE THE EXACT ITEMS, pretty sure they just didnt want to look for them since the store was a mess at 10:30 am! (HOW!, I digress...) had my children not needed those things when they did, I would have gone somewhere else. I would have given them one star if I could have, for this trip 🤷♀️🤦♀️
Hepfull staff. Products can be a little pricey but worth it if your looking for authentic looking costumes or themed party products. Huge selection and well stocked. Nice clean well maintained store. You will not be dissapointed if you shop here.
Prices were actually a lot better than I expected them to be. The girl that rang me out was really sweet, I didnt go in at a busy time, but COVID protocols were actively in place and I felt comfortable.
Store is still good selection, but the variety seems to be getting lower and prices higher, over past couple years. I went in to find center pieces for a Hawaiian theme party, surprised how small Luau aisle was and no center piece options.
Once again the North Olmsted store did not have balloons ready when they were supposed to be ready. The fact that it was 2 balloons, the number 3 and 0 and we had to make over 3 trips to pick them up because they weren’t ready and it would take an hour to fill. It is very disappointing that North Olmsted party city is run so poorly.
Unhappy with their shipping policies. They say free shipping on orders over 39$ but they split my order into warehouse and store orders. I had to pay two shipping fees.
Anything you need for a party they have but its very overpriced.They bring in costumes around Halloween time and usually have a good selection.A lot of the party accessories you could go to the Dollar Tree and get for a dollar.No need to go to Party City and pay $10 a balloon when Dollar Tree has the same ones for a dollar.Next time before you head to your local Party City check out your local Dollar Tree first
Line was 8 deep with 1 person at the register he allowed the customer at the register to shop up and down the aisles as she could not make up her mind..instead of asking her to step aside until she made up her mind he let the people in line wait 15 minutes for her to shop..I waited in line for 35 minutes with 8 people behind me !rediculous! I watched many potential customers walk in and turn around immediately when they saw the line shame on party city. Employees need training on how to handle situations like that. Will never shop there again .
Was looking for wedding invitation ideas. Employees were not helpful at all. Didnt even know where the books were. When they found the one employee that did know, He stated dont waste your time, our printer is down, has been for a while, management wont fix it. We wanted to look at books anyway but the table you sit at to look at them was filled with junk and bags of balloons were all over the floor. Another elderly man wanted too look at book for banners and staff didnt even help him lift the large, heavy book. This is the Worst party City I have ever been to in any state Ive lived in.

If there were a store even remotely closer to me I would never shop here again. The register always has only one super unfriendly person. Balloons are on the opposite end of counter and never attended. Such a shame this should be a happy place.
3 people working on a Saturday morning. Been in line for 15 min since 2 people are filling balloons while one is at the register with indecisive customers. Not to mention the prices are ridiculous. Unfortunately, this is the only location nearby with specialty party favors. Not happy.
I like to bring my kids here as a reward at the end of every week. I always spend about $8-10 on the 15/$1 candy. I dont know if they just refill without checking the candy or what. Everytime I buy candy atlease $2-3 of my kids candy is very hard as if its old. Isnt this a health safety issue? Maybe I should contact the broad of health because this is considered food.
Great local party store. Always a wide selection. Only downside is often near a major holiday that parties are involved they run out of items for it. Also the wait times to get balloons can be very excessive.
They didnt have what I was looking for and all the costume and decorations were on the ground and barely on the rack. Barely a wig selection, but to be fair they had a lot of costume and masks to choose from. If youre looking for party decorations and costumes, party will probably have what youre looking for, but it might be difficult to find.
Pretty much have anything you need for a themed party. A little expensive but the main issue was how slow the service is. They move at their own pace causing long wait times for balloons to be filled.

WORST WEBSITE EVER. Won’t allow me to order online and the store will not allow me to place an order over the phone for my sons graduation. Terrible. Beyond upset. I have tried 3 devices and multiple people helping me. I’ll never shop here.

Great store! Halloween selection is pretty decent and they have some unique things.. However with any party store, prices are slightly high for the quality.
They had what I needed but the check out lane was crazy long due to people wanting balloons.. Instead of having a person fill all of the orders the cashier went and filled them as they paid leaving no one to ring anyone else out.

I love this place and could walk around for hours just looking at stuff. Halloween is my favorite because of the system they have in place for picking out your costume. Its my go to for any party needs
They do not have gold 8 balloons. Even at a whopping $25/ balloon that I was willing to pay bc I needed it.

2022-04-30Will never come here again to get balloons inflated. They had put them in a bag to be all together and somehow I still lost one outside. I brought in some latex balloons to be inflated yesterday afternoon and 2 of them won’t even stay up now. The prices for medium size balloons are outrageous. You’re better off buying your own helium tank and doing it yourself. I’m seriously so annoyed, what a rip off. Money completely wasted.

2022-06-02BEWARE HELIUM SHORTAGE. friendly service but I had to buy a tank & do it all my self (thankfully not too difficult.) This is probably more of a problem for older people or anyone having difficulty tying knots etc. Cleaning the store as there were a handful of shoppers trying to view items. At least it’s clean. Handicap friendly.

2022-06-26Went in for three balloons. Was told they were too busy. I asked if I could order online and the girl told me not for today. Went to my car and ordered my three balloons online and they were ready in an hour. Such a joke… but the only place to get balloons so I guess you just have to deal with the ride customer service.

2019-07-11Great store!!I had family coming in from 3 states to celebrate 7 birthdays (one 60th, one 90th, two 33rds, one 65th, one 36th...), Fathers Day, my sisters baby announcement... so much to celebrate.I stocked up as best as I could on decor trying to cover all of the things we had to celebrate. I was able to find non-age-specific over-the-hill stuff, non-gender-specific baby-announcement stuff, and so many things.I found many party decor packs that did the trick for decorating in this helium shortage. My family LOVED (and helped out with) cutting out the over-the-hill quotes and hanging the ceiling spirals.I grabbed some photo props for photo ops, and we had a ton of fun.It was a great party!Thanks, Party City for being there for me!!

2019-03-08Do not buy the latex balloons to be filled here. You pay $1.49 PER BALLOON. Buy the tank and balloons from the Target next door and save yourself a bunch of money. The staff are pleasant though.

2021-12-04I’ve been coming to this Party City for over 5 years. The staff had always been friendly and cordial with me , especially when it came to the balloon counter. I was always greeted by a friendly employee and spoke about what I was shopping floor. The general manager , Rich , is so hospitable and every time he is running the store I have a smoother experience. Same goes for the employee Duha as well. After the remodel I think a lot of the previous managers left and t.b.h I am not a fan of the new managerial background. Specifically Phillip. I went in last wknd to get my balloons filled , I was greeted by a kind employee on the store floor. While picking out a ballon weight I heard Phillip flirting with the one older woman with ratty hair… I chose to ignore it and walked around the store to find another employee that I asked if that manager did nothing while they all put in extra effort to make the newly remodeled store look excellent. They didn’t need to answer , I knew the answer was yes. I’ve seen some new faces , especially , Phillip and he is not shy for working at a party store. He spoke LOUDLY at the ballon counter about his experience on Acid to younger girls. Definitely not a crowd pleaser. Also , should not be talking to the impressionable kids like that… Rich if you see this some of your staff is wonderful , but the rest need some work and better costumer service skills. Very disappointed…

2021-11-27Wish I could give 0 stars! Serious managerial changes need to be made. Highly disappointed I couldn’t get assisted by the man who appears to be a “shift lead”… as he was too busy flirting with his younger workers. You can tell what employees need a raise just by looking at who is doing work. I wouldn’t take my niece or nephew into that store especially with the crude and foul language I heard from the associate named Allie… Definitely will be shopping with Amazon from now on…
