After months of back and forth, this fords service department is seriously somewhere to avoid. Everything from not filling fluids, not listening, fake disposal charges, improper ordering, you can’t trust them. I promise it’s worth it to take your car anywhere but Park ford!
I was in Kent, OH 600+ miles away from home to cover a college football game when the air conditioning compressor went bad on my Mustang. The screeching of the bearing was very alarming. I made an appointment for that Thursday as there wasnt any appointment openings for Wednesday. I went Wednesday morning hoping to get in due to a cancellation. Brooke in Service told me they would do their best to squeeze me in. She understood my situation. I was grateful for that and patiently waited in their waiting room. They had coffee and hot chocolate available, comfortable seats and a TV. I had my laptop and there was a plug for me to plug-in. An hour and half later Brooke came in and told be they were able to look at it and that it was the Air Conditioning compressor (I thought it might have been the alternator). She told me they could get the parts and fix it that day. I gave her the go ahead and was extremely grateful. She kept me posted throughout the day. Everyone at this dealership is top notch! I checked in with her at 3:00 and she knew exactly where things were at. They were charging the new compressor. I was done on time to get to the football game I was covering (Im a professional sports photographer). I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone! If you want top notch dependable service for your vehicle, this is the place to go. They took good care of me! I will consider getting my next car from them even though they are 600+ miles away from home. I live in Saratoga Springs, NY.When you go in for service ask for Brooke and tell her Greg the sports photographer with the Mustang recommended them.
UPDATE:This time a rental was provided immediately and I was taken care of throughout the whole process. I am completely satisfied and hopeful that the engine will run forever without incident. My car was being worked on for 2 months due to a parts shortage, which I understand. However, I waited 2 weeks for a rental to be provided and was never updated as to my vehicles progress or when I could expect my car to be finished. When I got my car back the heater did not work, which lead me to find out there was no coolant in the engine that had just been replaced. Now after 5 weeks, my driveway is covered in some kind of fluid marks that have dripped from my new motor which I now have bring back to them to see why.
1/23/2020: I am very happy to say that Park Ford has done a great job fixing this mess. When I called the service dept the Monday after my bad experience, I was told that Ford would do what was needed for the good of the customer and the good of the business. They immediately agreed to fix my wiper arm issue (I did sign a goodwill release) and we set an appt time to fix both this and the clutch issue. Mike P kept me posted every day, and he and his team did a great job! This restored my faith in Park although I still have concerns for anyone who buys this particular car when I turn it in—lots goes wrong with it that shouldn’t be wrong with less than 16,000 miles on it. That aside, I want to say thanks to Mike, Jeff, Kathy and the rest of the Park Ford service dept for fixing the problems quickly.UPDATE BELOW THIS INITIAL 5STAR REVIEW!Just leased my second car from Park, and it was the best car leasing/buying experience Ive ever had. Frances did a fantastic job for me! He took the time to explain all my options, ran the paperwork on a few different cars (including my daughters dream car, just for fun), and gave me all the time I needed to make a decision. He worked with Ford to resolve a situation with my just-made car payment and now due deposit so I wasnt paying a month for a car I no longer had. I know that sounds like a no-brainer, but not everyone would take that time, trust me. Everyone Ive dealt with at Park, including finance and service, has been professional and responsive to what I need. As far as Im concerned, they have a customer for life.UPDATE:ONE STAR SERVICEWhen I went into the service dept this morning at 8 am for an oil change and new wiper blades front and back, I had all my wiper arms intact. I know this to be true because I was using all three wipers driving to Park Ford in a downpour. After waiting for my car (not a problem) I was told that they couldn’t do the back wiper because the wiper arm was broken off. HUH?? He took me out to show me...and sure enough, the arm was snapped off. “What could have caused this??” “I don’t know...maybe a car wash?” You DO understand my confusion here because I haven’t had my car washed in MONTHS and I was using my back wiper (intact) all day yesterday in torrential rain and as stated was using it all the way there in the rain this morning. It was there when they took it back for the oil change. So he goes back to check, and returns to tell me that “the tech said it was gone when they took it back.” OF COURSE the tech said it was gone...god forbid they own up and say they broke it....except IT WAS THERE WHEN I DROVE IT IN. I WAS USING IT AND SHUT IT OFF WHEN I TURNED OFF THE CAR. None of this seemed to matter to the service person....in fact, I was told that there was no way they could break it like that. Seriously??? Well clearly there is because someone did.in addition to this issue, my car is also having a clutch problem that will need to be fixed. It shudders really badly when I accelerate. This is the final straw in a series of problems I’ve had with this car. Yes, the repairs are covered because it’s a lease (EXCEPT FOR THIS WIPER ARM I’M BEING CHARGED $36 TO FIX AFTER THEIR TECH BROKE IT) but let me just say here that this car isn’t 3 years old yet and has 15,731 miles on it. My lease ends in July this year (2020). Seems to me like Ford would want to fix this problem they created since this car has been a POS since I got it (trust me, MULTIPLE issues) but apparently not.Revising my previous review—NEVER getting another Ford. This car and the service I got today just sealed that.
Have always had a good experience here with the service center. Bought my car here late 2010 and have been taking it here for service ever since. They can set you up with loaners if you have full coverage on your auto insurance. If not they often have staff that can give you a ride to work or home when dropping your vehicle off. You can also arrange to be picked back up to go get your vehicle
So let me tell you why my Ford won’t be going back here as long as I have breath in my lungs.I took my truck to Park Ford on Tuesday of this week. They preformed a recall notice and and full synthetic oil change, ok no problem there. At least not yet.The issue arose 24 hours later when I went to roll the windows down. Pressed the button, nothing. Not a sound. Tried the passenger side, nothing. Not a sound. Back windows roll down just fine. 5th window, works just fine.I call the dealership to try to find out if the reprogram on the recall could have caused it and if there was anything I could do. They told me that there wasn’t but that I could pay $135 for a diagnostic and if I wanted to schedule that. I politely declined. The next day during the daylight I popped open the passenger side fuse panel and started the process of going through fuses to see if any had blown. I went to move the floor mat out the way so it wouldn’t keep sliding and midway under the mat was a 15 amp fuse. So I searched the manual to see where a 15 amp fuse might go. And found it on number 32. Popped the fuse back in and wouldn’t you know it, all previous functions were now restored. Now I don’t have any physical evidence that something untoward was done to cause me to have to spend more money but if I was in your shop less than 48 hours earlier, to me, good customer service would be to have me stop by and see if something was left undone, do it, and send me on my way satisfied. Instead what you have now is a negative review for everyone to see. Also, the fact that my fuse was midway under the mat tells me it had to be put there. In addition there is no way way to pull those fuses without a set of needle-nose or a fuse puller. So I can’t prove it but they get the side-eye from me.
Everyone at Park Ford was courteous, accommodating, and professional. They were very attentive and cooperative to my every concern. It was quite refreshing to have a positive, enjoyable experience while purchasing a new car. I would absolutely recommend Park Ford to anyone looking for a high quality car dealership!
On my 5th car from this dealership. Very happy customer!I am always happy to bring my car in. The service people are very thorough and always seem to be in a good mood. This time, there was also an active recall on my car and they fixed that too. No need for a second appointment. I dont take my car anywhere else!
Very happy with the service I received here for my Focus ST. Received an oil change, tire rotation and inspection for $43. A great deal. Their prices are lower than a lot of other places Ive been to so far. Ive gone here a couple of times for things with my Focus. The people there are very nice and go around asking if you would like water or food. The only thing I dislike so far is that they said my rear tires were practically bald and needed replaced immediately. I dont believe this because theres still plenty of tread on the tires, and I just measured the depth 2 months ago and it was well within safe limits. I overall would recommend this place.
I went to four Ford dealership. Park Fords, Evan, could have not be more helpful. Evan understood my issues, took time with me, and help me get just the right deal that I needed.I got more for my trade-in than any other dealer. He made the process easy. Im happy with the final deal and the service I received. I will go back!
Park Ford kindly fit me in for an oil change as an out-of-town visitor within the business day. During my time waiting for the vehicle, I felt welcomed and treated like family by the staff. Evan took time to show me the ins and outs of the newest models of the pony cars, too, which was great. Reader, have no qualms about bringing your business here.
I generally avoid dealerships like the plague, but a family member recommended Ty Davis and he works there. Totally did not expect to walk out with a car that actually fit my needs and my budget, but here we are. Ty and the finance team were awesome to work with, and actually respected my budget and priorities.
I was told by four separate service members on two separate occasions that I was able to bring in my own part for replacement. After signing the quote, I received a call and was told that their policy does not allow them to use customer parts. I was then told that I would have to pay an extra $200 for them to do the work that I had already signed off on.
I had a good buying experience at Park Ford last Friday, and would like to especially mention Ty Davis, my sales associate. Ty is personable, professional and a good communicator. I had been looking for an upgrade to my camper-towing vehicle, and found just the right vehicle at Park Ford. The transaction was easy and the paperwork time was just about what youd expect. The dealership is clean and the lot is organized. Minor issues I noticed when initially viewing the truck were handled immediately (reverse lightbulb, needed code for the keyless entry) with no hesitation.Im pleased with my purchase and my experience. Thanks Ty!
I researched the Maverick before I tried to buy it. On the Ford site it says Equipment Option A is included on the XL model. When I went there the salesman showed me a sticker that had an upcharge of over 3,800 for the Equipment Option A. I get the additional charge of 5,000 for lack of inventory but I cant just accept a charge for a package that is supposed to come with the car. Thats not right.
Standard oil change was great as usual since I purchased this car in 2009. I also requested 2 other services and while doing those they found a safety repair that I didnt know needed to be done. Communication of issues was excellent and work was completed! Since it took more time They provided a ride home and ride back which really helped. Park Ford always provides Outstanding Customer Service !
We found a vehicle online and went to Park to check things out. We thought that this was going to be another one of those fancy places with the sales guys that smother you as soon as you pull up. Well this was not the case at all. Ty Parks helped us out when we got there and I cant say enough about his kindness and honesty. He was up front about everything, and friendly at the same time. I would recommend this place for sure. On top of all that, we bought a used car at really fair price. Pleased all the way around. Thanks Ty, and thanks for a great car Park Ford!!
When I went to Park Ford they were great at diagnosing my vehicle but when it came to trying to get it fixed thats when the issues started. My touchscreen was starting to go out and and they gave me the diagnosis that I needed a new APIM. Unfortunately this part was on backorder with no date of when it would be in. For my own due diligence I searched and found another auto mechanic that was able to replace it for me but needed the exact ID number of the part. This ID # can only come from the dealership but Park Ford refused to give me the information. They said that they pay too much money on a particular system that holds this information and cant give me the ID # unless it was getting fixed by them. Summary of the review: my car will probably never get fixed because they dont know when the part will be in so they can fix it and they wont give me the ID# so the other mechanic can fix it. Im being forced to wait on Park Ford and to only have them exclusively work on my car. NOT FAIR!
I had a 2018 Fusion coming off a lease so I went in to discuss my options. After going over my options I went with buying it out and adding an extended warranty. Also while I was there I saw the new Bronco Sport. After a test drive I bought that as well. I have purchased my last 6 vehicles from Park Ford. Every step of the process, from test drives, financing, and maintenance, Park Ford has always offered exceptional service.
The Ford Escape is owned by Eleanor Eddy not Duane. Park Ford took Duane to work when he dropped the Escape off and delivered it back to him when done. The service manager kept me posted by internet and phone. We are happy with the service and purchasing the Escape from Park Ford.Eleanor
I had an excellent experience with Tim Dauterman he is such a great sales man if youre looking for a car go see Tim he will take care of you. Everyone at Park Ford is very nice and very helpful I will definitely recommend people to go here and I will come back here when I need another car 🚗
The customer service was exceptional at Park Ford on Tallmadge Avenue in Akron. Especially the sales person Ty Davis and his coworker. They worked diligently as a team to meet all my needs. This company has shown that it’s not just about the sale of a vehicle, it’s about showing that they care about meeting your personal needs. Thank you Park Ford. Mrs Hill
My experience at Park Ford was wonderful. Ty Davis helped me purchase my 2012 Ford Taurus and I absolutely love it! I am thrilled with my car payment and the overall customer service, Ty was wonderful. Also I’d like to thank Dominick Macreno for putting everything together! You guys rock!! Thanks again!
It was an absolute pleasure working with our salesman Ron Ziler and everyone at the Park Ford family as well! Im happy to refer Ron and the company to the rest of my family and friends for any of our needs in the future being so considerate and personable with our family it was a blessing! (My two daughters were with us 8 year old and 2 years old and they both even had a Great time)Thank you for making the vehicle buying experience a enjoyable one for all of us!God bless you and all your families!
I would be glad to recommend Park Ford for the excellent service on the recall of my 2014 Ford Focus transmission that I had repaired in 2019.I was so pleased with the service there , and the fact I was given a loaner car to drive until my car was ready. I was very impressed. I never expected a loaner vehicle to use and it was really appreciated! So this morning I dropped my car off again for more warranty work and to get the transmission checked out again for some minor shuddering especially in reverse, since this is covered under the Ford Recall.Since this was a warranty claim for Ford, I expected the same treatment as before. But to be fair, there were some other things i wanted checked too, a 60,000 mile check up. I am a bit naive to car dealerships and their policies because I generally do not trust them, and so I have rarely used them in the past.My only concern is that I should have communicated better and clearly understood what the policy was concerning loaner vehicles. Partially my own fault for expecting a loaner. So i was left stranded to find transportation home. Just to be clear, after arriving there the service manager did explain the ford policy to me and offered me a ride home., however that would only fix part of the problem since I need transportation all day long, and not just a ride home. I declined the offer because I was too upset (irrational I know) but sometimes when you feel let down you just dont feel like accepting any help from the ones who let you down. So they did address the transportation issue in terms of getting me a ride back home. They are obviously very good at what they do because they were very busy and certainly do not need my business if I decided to not come backMy overall impression of Park Ford still remains good, and I would recommend the service dept there. Just please be certain that you clearly communicate and understand what the policy is so that you will not be stuck in a mess.
Brought my 2016 Ford Explorer in for an automatic transmission oil change and a rear axel differential oil change. The folks were courteous and the work properly done. This is a good dealership. My only problem was the price: $450.00...for two simple oil changes. I understand they have to cover overheads, but I have to buy food as well. In the future I will be shopping price elsewhere and doubt I will be back for service. I just can’t afford their prices.
I recently purchased a new truck from Park Ford. Immediately from my first contact via email realized this is a first rate professional team. Upon my visit I was treated as a valued customer. From the person who greeted me at the door to the salesman who took care of me, on to every person I met along the journey I was treated with respect, professionalism and dignity. I have never been to a dealership who worked harder to earn my business. Even after the purchase was made they continued to see their customer as someone they wanted to see again. Customer service is the hallmark of Park Ford. If you what fair deal, friendly people and a team that will work to earn your business, give Park Ford a visit. I didn’t mind the one hour trip for this experience. Thank you Evan for excellence!
They did an awesome job of getting my Takata airbag replaced once Ford had them available. Lisa in service is great to deal with. I work in the business at another auto dealership and I use Park when there is something Ford specific that needs done. When you are in the same line of business you learn who to trust when its a different brand than your own shop. Park is top notch.Came back again in 2021 for the second airbag. Just like the 1st half of this review service was great. Thanks to Brooke and all the service team.
The folks at Park Ford went well above and beyond working with me on my recent Ford Mach E purchase. As for the car, its incredible. Theres not a single thing I can find so far that I dont like. And if the electric F150 is as capable as the Mach E, we may be purchasing all electric vehicles moving forward.
Recently had to purchase a new vehicle, and saw this listing online. Brian at Park Ford reached out immediately and scheduled a test drive. I showed up two days later to sign the paperwork and everything was ready to go! He even came in on his day off to help us out. By far the most hassle-free car buying experience Ive had. Cant thank Brian and the rest of the staff at Park Ford enough! The entire staff was accommodating and friendly-- will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you all! Look forward to working with you in the future😊
Im out of town and my family in the area test drove a car there for me. The car drove great, but had a funny odor. David, the salesperson, told us the car would be cleaned and we could drive it again before purchase. We agreed that my family would come back today. I just got off the phone with him, and they sold the car. No heads up or additional call that the car was ready to be looked at. He didnt have much to say other than he would contact me if another came in. No way am I going to do business here after that. Avoid this place if youre looking for an honest sales experience.
Great dealership. Mike Anderson gave me lots of personal attention and took me on at least 3 different test drives so I could be really sure about what I wanted. Once I decided, he found me the color vehicle I wanted in the trim I wanted. Pricing was straightforward. Tracy in finance honored a quote I was given on an extended service warranty (even though the quote I was given was erroneously lower than the actual price, he honored the lower price)...thats what I call customer service!
Our new 2021 F150 began rusting immediately. The dealership and Ford refused to fix it. We are very disappointed. Our family has been buying Fords here for years. We won’t buy here again. Careful if you are looking at 2021 F150s made Nov 2020 through Feb 2021, check for rust underneath before you buy.Update: problem solved. It took a few months and some discussion and in the end the dealership was very gracious and agreed to fix it. Ford also gave us an extended warranty. We are glad the issue was resolved.
Evan took my concerns about being in the showroom because of COVID, and made my buying experience pleasant. Evan had me in and out within 2hours. I got the truck i wanted and i really appreciated their help with my concerns. I definitely would recommend Park Ford to all. Evan was a class salesman
The entire experience was pleasant! From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable since we had been acquainted with some of the members of the staff for over ten years. We were treated as family! Both Michael and Jason were outstanding during the process. As we met other members of the Park Ford family, we were treated courteously and professionally. We look forward to more good experiences with the Park Ford family.
Service department person seemed very competent, and very personable. My car was completed in a timely fashion, and my car is all good now. However, Park Fords compliance with CDC guidelines appeared to be quite lax. I observed several employees not wearing a mask, and others with a mask hanging halfway down their face. The person who brought my car around for me was not wearing gloves, and his mask was halfway down. I had to thoroughly clean the inside of my car as soon as I returned home. Get with the program, Park Ford ! People are dying from this virus !
I recently purchased a 2020 Ford Edge from Park Ford. I had the pleasure of working with Dale & Mike (made 2 visits). Both sales professionals were just that...professional. They were so easy to work with and patiently answered all my questions. We felt no pressure, no clock ticking, no gimmicks. It was a relaxed atmosphere. I would be happy to work with Park Ford in the future!
Park Ford is the real deal. Francis is a absolutely wonderful salesman to work with. He is very very good with customers. My personal buying experience took months to complete. From exploring lease opinions to purchasing a new ecosport.Tracy is the most experienced and companionate financing salesman I know. Not only did he work until 11 pm getting me a OUTSTANDING apr for my credit he taught me exactly how to build my credit.I came to park Ford a year ago with a 09 Toyota and a 620 credit score and today I’m driving a 19 ecosport with a 700 credit score! These guys are legit and if you don’t give them a shot when you are looking to buy you are selling yourself short.I will be back
Found a older used Honda on the lot through Facebook. Got in touch with Michael Anderson and within 37 min he had me out the door. I don’t like the stereotypical salesmen Mr. Anderson was the complete opposite real stand up guy and served our great country! I would definitely recommend this dealership and my salesmen.
From the moment we walked in and were greeted by our salesperson, Francis, it was a great experience. We were treated very kindly by all the staff and Francis worked up several options before we arrived so we could make the best use of our time. We got an Ecosport and its a great vehicle! The dealership was kind with us about working up our finances and dealing with our contract was pretty quick and painless. Francis made sure our needs were taken care of each step of the way and they even had an associate help us get our Ford App connected in the new car so we could download our phones and use all the cool new options. Alyssa was great and showed us all the amazing features of the app, which includes tire pressure, gas status, and even how much fuel costs in the area! I will only shop with Park Ford and have had all of my service needs met there too. You cannot go wrong with Park Ford of Tallmadge!!
I bought my very first car from Park Ford on Tallmadge Circle, I had issues with the service department about a year or two ago where they “test drove” my vehicle until my (mileage) warranty was up and told me nothing was wrong with my car. Before I made it out of the parking lot it started acting up again so I was basically forced to buy a new car or spend thousands of dollars in repairs,So I decided to buy a new car. I bought a 2014 Ford Escape. I’ve been happy with the car until two weeks ago when I took it in for service due to a check engine light that came on. The repair got done but they tore up the cloth liner underneath the hood, I had asked about getting a new door panel put on and they wanted to charge me $583, FOR A REAR DOOR PANEL! I told them I’ll pass that’s just crazy. They called to tell me my battery needed replaced and it was going to cost me $400 something I declined (husband could do it cheaper) I get my car home replace the battery now and my car was still dying so I talked to a mechanic and took it in for him to look at, he tells me there is a wiring issue. Now at this point I have $16,000 I still owe on the car and my warranty is up in about 5,000 miles which now I’m frustrated because I can’t afford to trade this one in AGAIN and have thousands of dollars roll over to my next payment. So thanks a lot park ford! You guys aren’t very helpful to loyal customers at all. I will never in my life buy another car from Park Ford, I don’t care if it was the last dealership on earth! I’m done with this place. They do nothing but run up your bill and screw you over. I’ll never recommend this dealership to anyone and will definitely be sure to tell all my friends and family what scams they are running.
Our company has purchased 3 Ford Transit Vans from Park Ford. The commercial sales staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with.We are pleased with the quality of these vehicles and have recommended them to other techs in our business and in other fields of service.Over time we have had to bring these vehicles in for service. Sometimes the service is good and sometimes it needs a little polish. However, whenever we have had these few disappointments with the service team, our problems have been resolved after speaking with a manager.I would gladly recommend Park Ford to anyone looking to purchase a new or used Ford vehicle. As for the service department, I would caution you to make sure all requests and instructions are clearly communicated and understood at the time of vehicle drop off.
David Post and the rest of the sales team are great! We recently purchased a used Taurus for our son. The car ended up having a malfunction immediately after leaving the dealership. The team at Park Ford quickly came to assist & the service department repaired the vehicle promptly the next business day.Again, thank you for all your efforts!
I am so happy with the help provided to me by Park Ford in Tallmadge. I had a paint issue and Jeff the service manager and the owner of Park Ford worked together to resolve the issue and my problem is fixed! I cannot say how much I appreciate their dedication and concern..with so many other issues to deal with right now,it is so nice to have one less thing to worry about! Amazing customer service.
There was a lot of confusion at first regarding the appointment. We set it up on the phone and then I got an email with a completely different time. We had to make another phone call to straighten that out. My husband took the car on the day of the appointment, and I started to get emails that we had missed our appointment! and then that our appointment was cancelled! The car was already in the shop so I knew that was wrong. We had a coupon for a certain battery, but then they told us those were sold out so they would give us a different one at the same price, well they didnt, and my husband didnt realize that till he got home and looked at the receipt. Also, they did not reset our clock and we had some problems doing that. They did call later that day to see if all was well, and my husband mentioned all the issues and she said she would report that and get back to us. So she did not, and since we were having a problem setting the clock, my husband had to call them back. We were finally able to fix the clock, but they never did make it right about the battery. Chances are we will not go back and we did drop over $800 there. I see now why people tell you, do not go to a dealer for service!
Ok took.our 2015 ford fiesta in for service due to recall issues. They supposedly fixed the recalls but my car has since been back 3 times in less than three weeks for the same problem spoke to service manager whos response was basically all.we can do is keep replacing the part because that is under warranty I asked if there was other issues he said the only way he would know is if I paid to have them.do a diagnostic so basically I have to pay to.make sure they didnt over look something on my car while they were fixing the recall issues funny thing is Ive had the car for over a year it only has 57000 miles on it and Ive never had a problem.with it till they touched it and while I have no proof yet Im.pretty sure they are over looking something so I will.just continue to take it back and they can continue to just replace the part thats Supposedly going bad
The whole experience was great. Brad really took care of me. Wanted a used F150 that was loaded and found it at the right price at Park Ford. The truck needed a couple things done to it before I purchased it and they were really good at taking care of the issues. I love the truck, it is exactly what I was hoping for. Great job Brad and Park Ford!!
If I could put in zero stars I would. I got a 2019 ford ecosport new at the end of January 2020. and since august I have been having ongoing issues with the display unit located on my dashboard. It is no longer able to use the smart features associated with android auto and apple carplay. which is one of the main reasons I got this car. it is also no longer able to charge any devices through the usb ports. I have been in the service department at this dealer now 5 times with a few of those days had me sitting there for over 5 hours each with a 6th day scheduled. 5 times is enough. I should not even have to do a 6th. Heck I should not have even had to do a 2nd or 3rd but here we are. Also the service department never calls when they tell me they will. They always call a few days after leaving me sitting here wondering whats going on. I should have my car replaced. This Dealer is horrible. They do not care about their customers. This is my first time buying a new car. I will not be buying from this Park Ford again. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I came to Park Ford because I was upset about how another dealership had handled my situation. My hood had begun to bubble, from rust, while under warranty. I was told by the other dealership that Ford wouldnt do much about it until it broke through. I wasnt satisfied with this answer, so I stopped at Park Ford, on my way home. From the moment I walked into this dealership, I was greeted by multiple employees, and treated very well. They quickly washed my car, and took pictures of the problem area, on the hood, of the Explorer. They made sure to communicate my wait time, and had me out of there in half of that time (20 min). Within 4 days, they had me approved for a new hood, ordered, and installed said hood, and had me on my way. Thank you Lisa, and Michael Anderson!
Finally the time has come to rejoice i an getting rid of a lemon. This truck has given me many lessons in patience. One can only wonder sometimes what would be missed if you had a vehicle that didnt have a lot of problems and repeat problems. I have met a lot of lyft drivers to give me rides back and forth to get my truck and even got in a couple hours of exercise walking home when i couldnt get a lyft driver. Buying a maintenance agreement with a rental agreement was a great idea.... you can get a vehicle that looks great and looks even better when you sit in it.... as long as you dont use the vehicle to transport anyone or anything... let alone forgive me if i start the vehicle and drive off the lot in anything but new clothes. At least with the problems with my truck everyone will know i am there before they see me because they will be like eww whats that smell.... oh thats just a tim coming with a truck that stinks from a water leak from a factory defect no big deal its not a rental. But honestly being able to drive a truck with a radiator leak isnt bad either. I could be frustrated that i had to take the truck in 3 or 4 times for camera diagnostics and then add many times for repairs.... at least i could start my truck. I am learning that more is not better . Getting rid of stuff that bogs you down is freeing. At a time like this we need to be grateful for the little things in life and look beyond a truck that has problems. We all have problems. I am just grateful i can still walk and i have other ways of getting a vehicle to use when moving. Park Fords name says it all. Park it in service bays. Over 20 days of no vehicle in 10 months..... its also good to know that you can be told that you are a special case in that you use a vehicle. When managers lie it makes you feel special. I definitely would not recommend unless you want problems.
Rated as a 1 only because 0 was not an option. This place lies to cover lies and lies more once caught in lies. Worst service department and customer service experience I have ever been part of. My daughters vehicle was in their service department for over 130 days , went to pick it up once they stated it was done ,only to find missing parts and broken wire harness . Poor shoddy workmanship. Frank, the service writer called to give an update after hours from the bar on his cell phone, Jeff the service manger sent texts @ 9:40 at night and is like dealing with a child who was to have the last word. At this point I involved the owner Mike. At first he seemed like is was going to help, which turned out to be false, turned very rude and argumentative . After a week the called and stated again it was ready to be picked up , picked it up to find the vehicle had not been aligned like they stated it was, took it back on Saturday for alignment . Got a phone call to pick up at 4 , showed up at 4 to find that VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE per the tech working on it. Picked up on Thursday vehicle seemed okay. However Monday vehicle overheated again and had to be towed to dealership. This is why the vehicle was first taken in. To sum it up , we are now over 145 days and vehicle is still not repaired properly !!!!
Kind, courteous and professional. I use the pick up service and it works GREAT! They provide pick up and drop off, contactless if you prefer.. they even washed my Escape after they were done! :) Couldnt ask for better service.... no waiting room for me ever again! 10 stars all day long!
This car buying experience is the model for all other dealerships to take note and follow. It was super fast and the heart felt helpfulness was something i never experienced after a life time of new car purchases. The dealership was beautiful and spotless. There was absolutely no pressure what so ever. I can only sum up everything ascool as a cucumber! This is going to be my only dealership now and into the future. I urge everyone in the market to experience this for themselves.
I had an unfortunate incident on my way to work this morning to Akron from Cleveland in my brand new 2020 Ford Escape and I attempted several Ford dealerships to try and get the tire replaced due to it not being able to be repaired and with no luck the Ford stores that I contacted were not able to get the tire for about a week. I called Park Ford and spoke to Mike in the parts department and gave him my tire size and info and he was able to get the tire I needed delivered to the dealership before the day was over.I then proceeded to call Park Ford service department and spoke to Lisa there and explained my dilemma to her and she said that as long as I could get to the store by 4 pm they could install, mount and balance the new tire that Mike in the parts department located for me.Hats off to these employees for going above and beyond to assist me with this issue due to the fact that I did not feel comfortable driving from Akron back to Cleveland on the highway on the donut spare tire. This is my first Ford and its a wonderful 2020 Ford Escape that I just love and now knowing the excellent service that Ford provides thru the roadside assistance mobile app to the excellent service that Park Ford gave me today in what I call an emergency situation. I truly Thank Mike and Lisa for their great customer service that was provided to me today!Thank you again Park Ford for having the most helpful and caring employees to assist me today!Warm Regards,Jill Nuccitelli
Salesman was fantastic , but when I reached deal on car and established monthly payment which was higher than I initially wanted . I met with finance department to find out they added gap insurance without my knowledge I told him to remove which he did which brought my payment down 30 dollars a month right where I told them I initially wanted to be . Sneaky move definitely will never deal with park again. Buyer beware. Definitely will not recommend .
We recently picked up our car from the service department. Now we have to take it back! I suggest you screen your mechanics better and introduce your people to more realistic time frames! We dropped our car off for what was relayed to us as a one day fix. Then we were told it would be 3 days until the transmission would be done (a recall, no fault of our own). On the 3rd day ( a Friday) we were told we could pick it up on Monday. On Monday we still hadnt heard a word of the progress so we called and were told it was being given the last look over and we could pick it up in the morning (Tuesday) we in fact picked it up on Tuesday, but it was late afternoon when we could get it. Saturday the car did the exact same thing it did when we first brought it in and we cant start it! I am not very happy! You had 2 days of final looking it over and you still didnt give us back a working vehicle!! I will NEVER buy a ford again! During this time we lost ALOT of money using UBER to get back and forth from work, because we had no clue it would take so long to get our vehicle back! Now.... We will not do the same....you WILL pay for our alternate transportation due to your lack of expertise and misleading information! If I could, I would get rid of this many recall POS! Have a good day!
Purchased a car a little one a month n half. Had a great sales person, no complaints there. It’s the after you drive it off the lot. No communication, unorganized etc. My car wasn’t detailed or cleaned, already having issues with brakes. Frustrated is a understatement.
Wow! From my last comment on how wonderful this dealership is five years ago! I am back!! 9 years of service and still a very happy customer. I have now leased a Fusion, bought a Chevy Malibu, plus a Ford Fiesta, Now a 2018 Ford Fusion in burgundy color. There is allot of things you want in life, but also need. Every oil change, fender bender, or questions there has been someone available.Dale Ewers, Brooks, Mike and now the new financial man Tracy made this last purchase an easy buy. Each of them are great sales men but the one that has helped me the most and always kept in contact was Dale. From the first time I purchased a vehicle and now the newer purchase.I called a little before 6 and told them I needed to buy a car asap. They stayed after closing time and made sure I had a car that we, Jesse and I needed by Friday.Mike didnt have to do it but he did, and that was really cool of him.If you want to go to other dealerships and waste your time and money in my opinion please, go to a dealership that treats you like a number or dollar sign.If you really want a great dealership, that treats you like family.Go to Parkford!!Thanks for the continued amazing service you all provide! Enjoy your labor day weekends!I have been with this same dealership at Park Ford going on four years. They made it so easy to lease a new vehicle with great pricing! I was able to keep my Malibu which was a nice vehicle and refinance it to my soon to be husband. They helped by taking a debt off our hands as a trade in from a horrible dealer ship and bad advice from a shady mechanic. If you walk into Park Ford they treat you like family and they really have the best customer service. The three gentlemen that helped me last night where full of knowledge and make you feel comfortable with the decision process. I would pick any of them to help you on your new venture with a new vehicle! Dale Ewers, Dominic, & Todd! Todd is the one who sold us the vehicle, but all three were amazing together as a trio!! Thanks Guys! Keep up the good work!! Not to bash the other people on here at all if you walk inside the place your going to feel like those people are incredibly wrong about these people! I trust them 100% and I am not a easy person to sale, or my husband USMC Vet! Thanks!!
I have bought three cars from Park Ford. I am very happy with my most recent purchase. Dale, Ryan and Terry were great. All our questions were answered. They were incredibly helpful, and knowledgeable about the vehicle and warranty options. This kind of service is why I am a loyal customer of Park Ford.
Very nice dealership. Clean, professional atmosphere. Thanks to Dave Post for making it easy to purchase my new Mustang. He stayed past closing to make sure everything went smoothly. It was easy to get the sale done. Thanks also to Tracy Seers and Dominic. No back handed deals here, just honest hard-working people like you and I. Thanks Park Ford in Tallmadge!
Recently bought a 2011 Ford F-150 from Park Ford. I was in and out of there within a couple hours with my new pickup truck. My salesman William Eackelbary was very nice and professional. My experience here at Park Ford was definitely a 5 star rating. Couldn’t be more happy with my experience, and I will definitely recommend Park Ford, and my salesman to my friends.
We purchased our used car here and worked with Brooks and Dominic both were excellent. They were a pleasure to deal with. no high pressure. very accommodating. I would highly recommend them and Park FORD.They were very professional and honest.I would come back if I needed another car.
During a used car purchase we requested an outside used car inspection and the Sales Manager declined. Despite our better judgement we made the purchase which resulted in an $800 repair. Had we been given the trust and flexibility of taking the vehicle for 1 hour we could have avoided the expense and became a loyal return customer. Now the relationship has been damaged and the dealership will have to work hard to reclaim our trust. There needs to be a few policy changes. I gave them 1star only because the program required it in order to make the posting.
I love Park Ford. Ive been a Customer for many years, and have purchased my last 5 or 6 vehicles from them. Everytime I go there to look at vehicles or have service done, Im treated like family. If youve never shopped there, I would definitely recommend giving them a chance.
My husbad and I just bought a Ford Explorer and the customer service Park Ford has is second to none. Our sales associate (Dale) is knowledgable, friendly and really worked with us to help us find our vehicle! We will most defiently be purchasing all of our vehicles from Park Ford in the future.
Compared to other dealers I have visited, Park Ford’s facilities, atmosphere, services and personnel offer a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer courtesy. Park Ford’s team is customer oriented and customer focused. They all do an exceptional job providing a good customer experience. Bill Eackelbary did a great job by double and triple checking options, features, and services we were interested in to be sure we obtained exactly what we were looking for. Bill and Dominick Macreno put together a good deal on our 2020 Explorer, and Tracy Beery made the financing experience easy and enjoyable. The 2020 Explorer is a great vehicle; Park Ford is a great dealer, and the entire team at Park Ford has been a pleasure to work with.
Absolutely incredible service. I was referred here by a good friend for fast and friendly service, and I was not disappointed. I was in a tight spot with my work schedule and needed a tire fixed fast. Not only did they get it taken care of quickly, but they dropped me back off at work while it was fixed AND they dropped off my car back at my place of work when it was finished no more than 2 hours later. I won’t go anywhere else for my service in the Akron area. Mike and the team in the service department are top notch.
I recently bought a used Subaru Impreza from here with the help of Mike Anderson. The process was great,a Mike was super helpful and a very personable guy to talk to. I would recommend Park Ford if you are looking for a new vehicle. I would also recommend you talk with Mike.
My daughter had some issues with her vehicle and had it towed to Park Ford. She purchased a warranty service plan from a used car lot where she bought the vehicle. This was her first vehicle purchase on her own and she was getting the run around from the warranty company. Ryan B., one of the service advisors was wonderful!! He really went the extra mile in helping us. He took time and waited on hold to speak to the warranty company as well as kept us in the loop as to the progress of the vehicle repairs. He explained everything in detail and made sure we understood and answered all of our questions. My current vehicle is GM, but told him, I’m seriously considering a Ford for my next vehicle. Ryan B. and Park Ford rock!!
Park Ford service department is fair and honest. I recently had warranty work done on the transmission of my 2013 Focus. After repairs were completed, I noticed a noise coming from the front of my car. I took the the car back to Park Ford to find out what the noise could be. They had a mechanic drive the car, and he said it sounds like a wheel bearing. I made an appointment to have it fixed. I asked if the repair to the transmission could have caused the wheel bearing to go bad. They said the wheel bearing is a sealed unit, and it shouldn’t have caused the problem even though the axle had to be removed to repair the transmission. They called when the repair was finished, and I thought this could be an expensive repair. After watching a YouTube video on the repair, I knew it was a job that was more than I could have tackled myself. When I picked up the car, I was handed the repair order to sign. My eyes went quickly to the bottom line where the total was $0. I was told there was a possibility that the repair to the transmission could have caused the wheel bearing to go bad. Thanks, Park Ford, for being honest in a day when you don’t know where to take your car to have honest repairs made. Park Ford has done all my maintenance since buying it new.
Worst experience Ive had with a collision center. Had my wifes car towed there for an appraisal to repair front end. Gave us $11,000 quote thinking insurance was going to take care of it. After finding out the vehicle wasnt covered the service manager Dennis WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH US. We paid $160 in tow fees, had the car returned home on a spare tire, a dead battery, fluid lines cut, parts missing and no hood! Im positive he had intentions to reuse or sell the parts. I ultimately had to go pick up the parts in my SUV after a week of the runaround and being deceived. When I got there to pick up the parts, Dennis just sat in his office and told me they were by the dumpster. I loaded everything by myself. Thats how they treat you. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else for vehicle repairs.
Well park service dept you are 0 for 2, ill stop you there and save us both from experiencing a third failure. My parting advice to you is to always under-promise and over-deliver, not the other way around. Communication and planning are absolutely necessary and from my two experiences there, you are extremely lacking in these skills.
I have been a customer of Park Ford since 2013. They have sold me two Fiesta STs, both 2014 models. I have never had a bad experience. Their sales team was very knowledgeable, their service team is helpful, they are always looking out to make sure my car doesnt give up on me before I see them again. If you want a new Ford, go here.
My experience with the service staff was mediocre at best. I requested an oil change and to check the brakes on the car. On my previous visit to the service center, a technician mentioned that I should have the brakes serviced. On this visit, there appeared to be a rush to get my car in and out without thoroughly running a diagnosis on the car. When I came to pick up the car, the technician did not explain to me what had been done to my car for the diagnosis. I also had hoped that they would at least wash the car, but the car was dirty, as well as the car mat on the drivers side was muddied up from the technicians boots. I left the dealership feeling very disappointed.
Very pleased. As a newly single mother of 2 and a women I was so afraid to have to make a vehicle purchase on my own for the first time. Salesman Rex, single understanding father, was very patient and understanding. He and his manager Jeff I think, gave me a list of vehicles that fit my budget, showed me what service they did, history reports, I called my brother who is a salesman at a dealer in Austin Texas and he told me the one I picked was a great deal and good car. Thanks guys love my new used Fusion.
Bought my 1st new car here & the experience exceeded my normal expectations with car dealers. I have been a happy customer 2 yrs running. Complimentary oil changes are a great perk with a busy family & they can always get me in & see me within days. Everyone is very friendly even after the sale & let you know they are there for anything your car needs. We will be back to purchase a truck for my hubby this year for sure!
Entire experience was bad. My salesman seemed like it was a huge issue when I wanted to view multiple cars, a test drive was never offered, no features of the car I chose were ever explained. He never checked my credit before making my payment offer- Simply no questions were asked and way too many assumptions were made. The whole negotiation also took place basically in the lobby, so there was no privacy of any kind and anybody could hear my financial and personal information. On top of everything, I was also told the money I put down would be used in a way that I later found out was a lie. I will absolutely never return to this dealership and upon talking to my family and friends about my experience, I found out that a couple other people felt the same way too.And a response to the reply: you absolutely DID NOT test drive with me! Goes to show how much you pay attention to detail. I never stepped foot in that car until I drove it off the lot!!Need a recommended Ford dealer? Drive the extra 10 minutes to Klaben.
Was in the dealership a few weeks ago dealing with Evan in regards to a used F-150 I was interested in purchasing . We went round and round for a few days trying to come to terms on a price for the truck . Evan states that he was “really trying to help me out”, it ended with him saying he was going to talk with the sales manager or owner and call me back with a response of whether they would accept my deal or not . Never heard back from Evan in regards to this and they obviously sold the truck to someone else . This is the kind of service you would expect from a 3rd rate used car dealership and not a true Ford dealership . Disappointing expierience to say the least. Don’t waste your time with this place , stick to more well known, respectable dealerships, that don’t hire snakes...
I went to dealership with my daughter to help her get her car fixed, she had no brakes, and the service person helped us look over the vehicle. Found it had rusted brake lines and they were leaking. After discussing the overall condition of the vehicle we decided to replace her vehicle. Was introduced to Francis, he helped us through the whole process and found a Ecosport that she loved. The process was quick and easy. I recommend this dealership 100% of the time for both service and to buy another vehicle!
My husband & I have been interested in getting a Suv for a while so went to Park Ford. Dale was our salesman. Great guy, answered all our questions. very helpful in finding the right model for us and we are now owners of a Ford Escape! He has even followed up by calling to see if we have questions etc. We recommend Park Ford.
Franco was great! He was courteous and professional. Tony in the Finance dept was awesome too. They worked hard and got me into a 2015 Focus. Im excited to drive my first New car. Im now a Ford customer for life.Kristina in the service department is always attentive, courteous and professional.
Nice people. Salesman was knowledgable and pleasant. No hard sell, just a friendly discussion over the deal. Radio station playing in the background was a bit odd.. 70s music?Follow up...I ended up in a new Explorer. For the first time in my life I felt I got a fair deal from a car dealer. Bill E. was easy to work with. No hard sell just choices and facts. No problems in finance, we were presented options, but only reasonable ones, no hard sell here either.Park Ford did well by my opinion. Pricing and service.. cant ask for more than that. Thanks Bill.
I always get great service here and I love my new Ford C-Max. Francis DePetro was super nice and helpful in every way. He even took time to show me all the features of my car so I could become comfortable with using them. Thanks also to David Post, who took his time when Francis had his day off to give me some preliminary info so I could take time to consider my options.
I had the best service when I bought my 06 Jeep Commander. All of my concerns were met, and answered. I will definitely recommend purchasing your next vehicle from Park Ford. Derek and the staff at Park Ford were helpful, and didnt extend my time at the dealership extremely long like others would.Buyer Beware* they will sell you a used vehicle with incorrect carfax. I bought what I thought was a perfect used car, to only find out it afterwards when trading it in, that it had been totaled after hitting a deer. *
I drove to the service department to have them check my tire pressure and they greeted me with a smile. I did not have an appointment and they were still able to help me. They helped me set up my keyless entry on my door. I would definitely recommend them to service your car. They take of there customers!!
My brother and myself bought several trucks from Park Ford, also I just sent down another friend and his wife and they both bought two trucks from them. If I didnt like or trust in them I wouldnt be going back. Every time I go in they make me feel like family. If your looking for a new or pre-owned car or truck, do yourself a favor and go check them out.
Just fair. After oil change was completed tech didnt reset oil change reminder nor did they replace windshield sticker.Latest fiasco occured when we had a recall for a defective brake line.Tech replaced line but didnt tighten line and brake fluid leaked out causing brake pedal to go all the way to the floor.Vehicle had to be towed back to Park Ford in order to do it right. Not happy .
Update 2...As you can see from the post, Owner got in touch. They made things right, scheduled another appointment, was in and out, no charge. He even offered to pick up my car. Im bumping rating from one to three stars. Will go higher if future service indicates they are truly improving their processes. Thank you, now keep me, and all other customers, believing.Update... Sat for an hour and a half for them to tell me the part could not be found or was never ordered. Wow..... Great way to convince me your processes have been fixed. Nothing offered but apologies and that theyll get me right in next Saturday. Just what I need to be doing the weekend before Christmas.Last week I had an appointment for an oil change and new tires, which I couldve purchased cheaper elsewhere. Took seven hours. Was also supposed to get the antenna cap on the roof replaced as the original came off in a car wash. The part wasnt in. Here I sit today waiting and waiting again. Great place to patronize if you have a lot of time. Pretty much the last straw as when I had the software upgraded during an oil change features werent working. Another two Saturdays of sitting around for hours.
This review is directed at Park Ford Service Center. On two occasions Ive had my 2015 F150 there where my truck was damaged. First was during an oil change. Apparently they removed my wheels to check my brakes. They damaged my wheel - most likely using the impact wrench on the lug nuts. They never mentioned it but I saw it. Had I not caught it immediately they never would have reluctantly replaced it. Most recently I had the same truck there for warranty repairs. One day turned into six days. When I picked my truck up I found a dent in my passenger door. Thankfully I saw it because nobody mentioned it to me. Park Ford did, however set me up with a dent repair service who fixed it. I know accidents happen but at least tell the customer when it happens. Dont hope that it will go unnoticed. I will no longer be a customer at Park Ford.
The best experience Ive had at a dealer. After being let down by another dealer in columbiana, Park Ford got me into the vehicle I wanted for an awesome price and the service was very professional. I definitely would do business with this dealer again. A special thank you to Evan and Logan for making it a 5 star experience.
After a stressful car accident I needed to replace mine. I arrive at Park Ford. Communicated to Ryan Teeters what I was looking for. He was efficient, he listened, was not pushy at all, friendly, courteous and I actually found myself WANTING to buy a car from this person. I did go visit other places but due to Ryans follow up and the impression he made with my first visit with him I returned to Park Ford and drove away in a wonderful new Ford Escape. So refreshing to not have to deal with someone pushy and disrespectful. Thank you Ryan!
I worked with Jerry at park ford and he helped me get a wonderful, new to me Honda Fit. Very nice and comforting, No pressure sales with a lovely demeanor and very patient. The used car manager was very nice as well.I would go back without hesitation, especially if it meant working with Jerry again.Wonderful Dealership.
I am a repeat customer at Park Ford! Last Wednesday I was in service for a free oil change and looked at a used Focus for my teenage daughter. Went to my salesman, we test drove the Focus, went back to the showroom, and had a final deal in place in less than 10 minutes. I then brought my girlfriend there on Saturday to turn in her Fusion for a 2017 Escape. Yesterday, I went there to turn in my Explorer for a 2017 Escape. I purchased 3 cars in 3 days and we are all very happy and satisfied. The staff at Park Ford are great and I will continue giving them my business. I have purchased from other Ford dealerships in the past and I have had the best experience at Park Ford.
I had a terrific experience with Park Fords service department. The service advisor Lisa went over the top out of her way on a busy day to assist me with my concerns and questions. She had the answer I needed which other advisors had mistakenly advised me. Shoutout to Park Ford and thank you Lisa!!!
I bought a used vehicle from this shop . This is the worst and incredible experience I ever met. When I was in the shop, they promised me that every parts of the vehicle was fine, they did the maintenance of it. But after I came back home, just through one cold night, it didn’t work, it couldn’t be power start anymore . I had to asked for a off-day for it. When the staff of AAA arrived and looked its battery,he said the battery was so old and terrible, it should be replaced before u bought it,why dealer didn’t change it when they did the maintenance .I have two reports:one is from AAA ,another one is from the shop(Advance Auto shop)which replaced the new battery for me .Both of them shows the vehicle’s battery was rather lower than the standard and it had already expired. Even when I got those two keys, both of them almost no power. I had to replace all of them after I bought this vehicle. Thanks you for paid these battery for me later. But after I told u all the problems of this vehicle which I just bought it from ur shop, why ur answer was no any warranty for it ? I looked the contract again and again. It shows the warranty of this vehicle is 90 days or 4000 miles. Before we drove two hours and got there, u promised us that you will fill the tank. But after we paid for it and ready to leave, we just realized that the gas tank almost empty. In the cold dark night, I drove on a quiet strange city, the first and most important thing was find a gasoline station. Or we couldnt drove another two hours home.Otherwise, one whole week past, I still havent received the vehicles title from you, though u promise me I can receive it by the end of last week. It is really make me anxious, this is the only vehicle I have, I need work, but I also dont want drive it illegal. I have to wait another week for that temporary title. It makes me so upset about the whole experience for this vehicle.
I bought an F150 at Park Ford of Tallmadge ,Ohio..I dealt with Evan Smith..Hes very nice, informative, and low pressure,he answered my questions and even added wheel well covers for my truck! ... I had a 5 star experience and would definitely recommend Park Ford... and would ask for Evan.
We just bought a used car at Park Ford. The Sales Associate. Mr. David Post, was very knowledgeable and helped us find the right car at the right price for our needs. Everyone there was friendly. Would definitely recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new or used car.
Couldnt figure out what was needed to fix my truck. Unable to respond to phone calls or take the initiative on their own to call.I fixed my truck with the right part on site in 5 minutes.Once the truck ran, I did a walk-around and found a plethora of brand new scratches, chips and dings on my beautiful truck.Normally, if theyd accepted responsibility for their fault, Id be okay. Instead of being a man, however, service manager Jeffy Davis showed his true colors and hid from it. A coward in womens underwear through and through.Didnt even bother looking at the damage, and instead denied it without even leaving his office, and still charged me for work done that wasnt completed in the first place.Guess Ill see him directly in small claims unless he wants to handle it like a grown man 🤷🏼♂️
If you are an out of state buyer, they will promise you that there would be no problems getting your vehicle registered in your home state even when your stuck in Ohio working. They told me they will do everything they can to get my truck registration, and plates from TX to me. I paid over 60 plus for a truck and after the purchase the title clerk told me that she doesn’t do registration for out of state customer. You would think after spending over 60 k plus on a truck, they would do a little extra administrative paper work for their out of state customers. Now I have a two day drive to go get my truck registered in TX and drive it back to Ohio where I worked. Awesome customer service Park Ford. Left high and Dry, after you sign that contract.
I just bought a 2015 Escape SE. Very easy and honest communication via email. No surprises during pick up. Really good customer service and took their time walking my wife and I around the new card to discuss all of the features. Ken was a gentleman and not a fast talker. Dominic the Sales Manager ensured a smooth transaction. Hope to have it for 10 years!
Back in the summer my mom went to look at a used car, we test drove it she fell in love with it. Our salesman was evan, he told us what was replaced. We asked him are there any leaks or issues with the engine, of course he said no the service dept checked it out. She buys the car were doing paper work, because the finance manager knows me from working together. He says dont worry about getting the warranty. Well my mom drives to michigan 2 days later, on her way home check engine light comes on. We take it to our mechanic and he the issue was a sensor replace it. Next day check engine light comes on. Again. Car is over heating so we take it to vandever chevy because her car is a chevy. They said the head gaskets were leaking, which Evan said there were no leaks. Then they also said she is going to need a new motor. So I decided to go down an ask the manager at park ford what they plan on doing about it and they would not recommend anyone buying anything from this dealership all they do is lie. said they couldnt do anything to help. So i dont reccomend this dealership.
Ive been too numerous Ford dealers and no other dealer is quite like this one. They are very down to earth and are eager to help fix your problem. The Service team has fixed all my issues without any hassling. I recommend this place to the next whether your buying a car or your having it fixed.
Brooks is great if you are looking to buy a car. I didnt have a great experience with the service department as my time is precious but the staff is all friendly and welcoming. For some reason, this is hard to come by in the car dealership industry, but this place has it. And just a little secret, its pretty much the same cars anywhere you go so this is the only thing that matters. That, and they bend over backwards to get you in a car
The team at Park Ford is simply amazing. Everytime I go in there I am treated not like a customer, but as a friend. I went in there with an issue, and they worked tirelessly to resolve it, and in the end they took care of everything. I highly recommend Park Ford, the entire staff is very involved, and theyre number one concern is your satisfaction.
I found the vehicle that I wanted to lease on the website. Since I was out of state, I completed the negotiations remotely via email, text message, and phone calls. The financial qualification was easily completed online.I worked with Charles Mayle (sales) and Logan Kessler (finance) and they were both excellent. This was my first lease, and I had dozens of questions that were all answered promptly. When I arrived at the dealership, there were no surprises. I traded in my previous vehicle and was driving away in my new one in no time at all. I even had the kids with me, and everyone was patient with my sometimes rowdy children.I fully recommend purchasing your next vehicle at Park Ford. Ask for Charles, he will take great care of you!
Park Ford and I recently disagreed on how a sales situation was worded and I took to Google to voice my discontent. Pete from service went above and beyond to make contact with me (I am finishing my Masters degree and am hard to get a hold of), essentially playing phone tag with me for about a week; he did this on his own based on concern over my Google review and was not contacting me upon my request. After finally talking to Pete I will say that I am completely satisfied with the situation and absolutely impressed with the lengths to which the people at Park Ford will go to make sure their customers are satisfied! He was easy to talk to and wanted me to remain a happy customer, and I am! Thank you to the people at Park Ford for proving me wrong, you are an outstanding and honest dealership and I will certainly recommend you to my family and friends.
This is my second time Leasing from Ford , I thought my first time was amazing, and nothing or no one else would be able to top that. Boy,,,, was I wrong .Josh new exactly what I wanted and what would fit into my budget . He made my husband and I feel as though we have known him for years . I have gone into a car dealing that “says what can I do for you” and mean it . My whole experience was beyond anything I could have imagined.Thank youNathalie Cates
I called them in early October 2018 to schedule an airbag recall. They said the part would be ordered, and they would call when that happens. I informed them that I would be leaving for Florida on New Years Eve, I was told that wouldnt be a problem. After a few weeks of no contact, I called to check. I was told the part should be here any day now. It is now the end of January 2019, and I just made my appt. at another dealership. I would Imagine that had I had a repair that might cost ME $800 or so, my calls would have been returned immediately. It is unfortunately the way of the world we live in.
Park ford is awesome. They really do make you feel like family. Todd, Billy, and Dom really made me feel comfortable. Hands down best experience Ive had at a car dealership. I got an amazing deal on my lease and will definitely continue doing business with these guys.
Most horrible dealership EVER! I bought a brand new Ford vehicle from them I complain for about 2 to 5 months of a horrible noise while the vehicle was under warranty it was only when the vehicle went out of warranty they finally found the problem and told me I had to pay over $800 to get it fixed. They do not care about the customer theyre only lining their own Pockets, avoid this place at all costs! To add insult to injury the service manager Jeff Davis of #parkford verbally told me over the phone that the owner of Park Ford, seen my review here on google. Jeff told me the owner was gonna cover more of the cost of the total bill but because I gave his dealership a negative review & that he got upset at me and still continued to leave me hanging out to dry with the bill as is.So rather than pursue the customer to better the situation and continue long term relations where I would have spent many more thousands of dollars on new work vans or personal vehicles over an $800 bill, he chose to accept the fact of his incompetent staff & dealership thus losing a loyal customer......In responses to the owners remark, my van being out of warranty. Yes indeed it was, after I brought it in several times ((before the warranty ran out)) and your incompetent staff was unable to do their job thoroughly and responsibly and furthermore expecting the CUSTOMER to hold their hands and do the job FOR THEM rather then trouble shoot like a TRUE service tech and automotive repair facility. I only accepted the offer because thats the ONLY OPTION I was given due to your inability to do your job. And you as the representative Owner of said facility should be embarrassed at the level of incompetence you have at the fore front of your business.....You should be bending over to satisfy the people supporting your family Mr OWNER, its because of people like ME that your able to put food on the table, if it werent for us, there would be no shade tree facilty such as yours. How bout you stand up, put your big boy panties on and take pride in your customer base instead of your wallet and ego.
Once again we had an excellent experience at Park Ford !!! Jackie even got me coffee while I waited and was a sweetheart!! Very professional outfit , we wouldn’t go anywhere else and would never hesitate to recommend them for their wonderful sales experience too !!😉👍
Park Ford Service Dept is excellent!!I had my wife’s car to Spitzer Ford 4 times in 3 months for an A/C cooling fan that would not shut off. On the 4th time of bringing it back Spitzer Ford they told me the whole system would need to be replaced because the dececant bag broke, & put particles through out the system. The cost to replace everything was going to be an additional $1500. On top of the $800 I had already paid for a grand total of $2300. I should mention that the car is a 2011 Escape with 28,000 miles on it.I decided to take it to Park Ford for a second opinion. This was the best decision I ever made. They fixed it the first time, & we haven’t had an issue again. They also called Ford on my behalf & got the repair covered so I only had to pay $100 out of pocket. It didn’t need the whole system replaced after all which has me wondering if Spitzer Ford was trying to rip us off.Jeff Davis which is the Service Manager at Park Ford, the mechanics, & the entire staff at are top notch. When you take your vehicle to Spitzer Ford 4 times, & they have their top mechanic work on the car, but it is still broke, that is not a good sign.Park Ford went above & beyond the call of duty by getting everything covered through Ford. I cannot thank them enough!! My wife is happy to finally have her car fixed after months of it continually being broke, not to mention all the time that we spent at Spitzer Ford dealership for nothing.I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for service, parts, or a new car purchase.Thank you again Park Ford & Jeff Davis!!
Park ford was kind enough to never follow up with me on parts availability to schedule and perform recall work on my vehicle. 10 or 11 months go by and after getting another recall I gave them another opportunity to repair my vehicle. They did a great job of returning it with panels and other plastic parts left laying on the floor. This is in addition to the big scratch left on my door skin. The dealership wouldn’t address it on the day of service, and no one has a made a single effort to communicate directly with me regarding the damage caused by them. They have my contact information and they are negligent in communicating with me. I’m not going to beg them to repair it, it’s apparent they don’t wish to amicably resolve the matter. That’s why we have a court system in place to address negligence and property damage claims. The response below by Park Ford is less than sincere as they refuse to communicate
The sales staff are generally kind, if a bit lacking in model specific knowledge. I was interested in a Focus ST and was initially told it could easily be brought on the lot in less than a week. A month later I finally got to drive a car, not the one I wanted mind you or at least not the color and options I preferred. At this point the sales manager got extremely pushy and refused to return my refundable deposit. It took me stepping outside to call my attorney before they agreed to make things right. The ironic bit is that they refunded on the condition that I take my business elsewhere as if I would ever want to come back. While these guys might be reasonable for volume models, youll want to avoid them for any enthusiast vehicles.
This is my second lease through Park Ford and my experience both times were unbelievable. Driving a manual can be a little tricky finding the car I want, but both times was fast and easy. My sales associate Francis DePetro was curtious and friendly from the beginning. I was in and out in one day with a car located and a great price. I would highly recommend Park Ford and especially Francis for anyone looking for a new car.
My review is for the service department. I wish compliment the service writer Katrina & the mechanic I have known for 42 years Terry for correcting the issues that Spitzer Ford of State Road of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio who failed to address ! My son & I both totally agree the service here is what keeps our loyalty here !!! We both use to be Spitzer Ford victims of poor service & fail promises or just plain flat out lies ! We also wish to mention how everyone at Park Ford treats everyone like kings & queens, like opening doors for you, asks if you want something to drink & how can they serve you (are you here to make a purchase a of car or do need see someone in service). Just so accommodating, this so very refreshing after stopping in other car dealerships ! Im not certain about some of the negative feed back I read here, I guess some have a problem with being treated nice or just have bug up their behinds !!! Oh well, If your looking for pleasant experience in finding that special car or truck or just great service, Come and see for yourself, Come on over to Park Ford ! You wont sad that you did !!! By the way, Ive not been paid for my feed back or a employee of Park Ford, just loyal customer of Park Ford !!!
Went to go and look at a cheap car that they had for sale, explained that I needed to get rid of my mustang in order to make a deal happen. They proceeded to waste my time by offering 4k less than my payoff, I have been lowballed in my day, but never that bad. Salesman were also having a very public argument with each other over who should get walk up customers. Whole place was run like a mess.
Brought my vehicle in for warranty work, took 3 weeks to have a normal 8.8 differential rebuilt. The technician said nothing was wrong with the front end noises I was hearing, the following day after getting it back I replaced the wheel bearing myself in 20 minutes, then two days after getting my car back the ball joint gave out. Luckily it was at low speeds and not on the freeway, or else I could have been in a serious accident. They paid for the rest of the repairs, without anything else out of my pocket. Service was friendly, seems like the technicians are incompetent, at least the one working on my car. Luckily I wasnt injured. Service advisor Pete Alteri (spelling?) was overall pleasant to work with, not much matters when parts dont get fixed/replaced/diagnosed properly.
I had my car towed to Park Ford because that is where I purchased it. I was told that I would have about a one hour wait. When I purchased my car I was told that I would receive a loaner, or a ride home and back to the the service department depending on the wait time. I was there five (5) hours. The car was towed in and as I was told, I gave the tow truck driver both my car keys as the person in the service department felt the problem was with the keys. Upon the completion of the car, I was informed that one of the keys was lost. The owner told me to return anytime and he would have another one made for me. So today at 1:00, a friend took me again to Park Ford. I left the car with service being told that it would take 45 minutes to fix the key fobs. We returned two hours later and were told that it was not done. This was around 4:00. I spoke with the sales manager and he walked out of his office on us around 4:30 saying he would get to the bottom of this and did not return. My friend found him and told him we had to leave. She does not drive after dark. The key fob was not ready. We had to leave the shop at 4:45 leaving my car behind.
I would rate this dealership a 10 if Google would let me. I put a request out to 3 local Ford Dealerships (Montrose and Barberton) and they blew them away on my lease price. I was able to work with them remotely until I was ready to come in, sign, and drive. It was a pleasure to work with Chris Strobel. He kept a positive attitude and it was obvious he genuinely loves working with the Park Ford Family. I am looking forward to coming back and visiting while I get my FREE OIL changes!!!-Rob Walker
Worst experience. Sales Rep claimed Park Ford goes over every car in detail. After we bought the car, we were informed they dont inspect non-Fords as closely. They had a car that was perfect for us. It was just turned in by a young college student who only drove it back and forth to school it was so new that it hadnt even been detailed yet. That must be Park Ford code for were not responsible for things that you discover while driving it. Within a day, we found the clock didnt work, the cup holder was broken (a $200 repair, we were told), and there was a big stain on the front passenger seat. We agreed to buy the car if power windows and locks were added. We were taking the car back to get the upgrade and detailing, so we addressed our concerns with our Sales Rep. At first, he was reluctant to commit to fixing them, but the more we pressed, he agreed to look them over. We took it in for the upgrades and when we got it back, the stain was still there, the clock still didnt work, and the cup holder was still broken. Individually the problems were minor, but taken as a whole, it was frustrating. They, or should I say another company put in electric lock and windows, The job was beyond shoddy. The electric window locks were external boxes mounted where the window cranks had been and the locks rattled the entire car when locked. We were told time and again, that park Ford was committed to making sure they met expectations to gain repeat business, if this is any indication, well be taking our business elsewhere. In all fairness, we also purchased a new car that day, but as expected that went off without a hitch. Which makes the problems were having more incredulous since we showed loyalty by buying two cars from them. Going by just the experience of the used car purchase, Park Ford deserves their 1-star.
The receptionist told me to HURRY UP with my question on the phone when I called BACK in because I was hung up on after waiting 15 minutes on hold. Best part is when I asked her to repeat what she just said to me she said it again with no qualms. Whoever that receptionist is needs to take a course on customer service considering THATS THE BUSINESS SHES IN. Who says that?!?!Addition: I spoke with the office manager who really went out of her way to make sure I felt better about the whole situation. Beth at Ford is really very sweet! Thanks for reaching out!
Crazy how many good reviews this dealership has gotten because ive been here twice and nothing but complaints. the first time i went here for i believe just an oil change, one of workers drove my car into the wall and damaged the front end pretty bad... got an apology and money taken off the bill & the damage repaired on their expense obviously but i havent damaged my car not even a scratch so i was pretty disappointed in them but mistakes happen so whatever. fast forward to today , again another routine oil change. the lady said shell come grab me in an hour... TWO flipping hours later, oil change is complete. Not one person in the whole building has the audacity to let me know why it took so long. then the same lady encouraged me to give her 5 stars for her service?!?!!!! im sorry what. An ok change shouldnt take longer than at least an hour if that. mind you im only 24 but ive taken amazing care of my fusion but i tried giving this place a second chance since its close to my job , ill move my service to the ford dealership in montrose from now on. i wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone for service.
I purchased a 2010 ford f 150 with 179k miles on it on 12/10/16 and was told it was a good running truck only to drive away and have the truck start whining like the power steering is bad called the dealer back and they tell me the truck was as-is which i was fully aware of but didnt think id just hand over 13,700 dollars just to have to put the vehicle in the shop. I strongly recommend not shopping there because they have no integrity.
My truck broke down in Akron (50 min from where I live) and I had my truck brought to their shop. Mike in services handled my repairs, was very understanding that I needed my truck back for work, and went out of his way to have my truck ready for me the next day. The shop was very courteous, answered all my questions (which were excessive), and reasonable to work with.

2022-06-30Our personal experience was a very good one. Francis was a great salesman and was flexible with his schedule to fit our timing. Tracy in finance was equally as good. The process took a little longer only because they recently upgraded their software and there were some glitches in finalizing the deal. But at the end of the day, we had a very good experience and definitely would consider this dealership in the future.

2022-02-08Michael Anderson made car buying fun and Brad, the Finance Manager, was very knowledgeable and thorough. All my questions were answered and I drove away in no time. The Service Department, that I have used before with my other Fords, is fabulous! Highly recommend this auto group!

2022-05-12I had an excellent experience with Park Ford!! I was looking for a Bronco Sport at the time. Which was in extreme demand. I also was in a hurry to replace our older vehicle, which gave up the ghost on us. I thought it would be impossible. But sales rep. Ty Davis made the experience a very pleasant one. I was able to make my purchase within 3 days of Ty first contacting me. Got a great price on the deal as well! Quite an accomplishment given the current market. I cant say enough great things about Ty Davis and Park Ford!!!

2022-04-01If you need a vehicle Park Ford is the place to go. We went there to purchase a vehicle for our son. They had a used Ranger that was perfect for his first truck. The sales person Dale was amazing. After we finished with finance Dale took us to the truck. He went over everything with our son. Took the time to show him everything about the truck. It was amazing to see the time he took with him so our son could learn everything before driving. He treated our son as if he was his son. Thank you so much to the Park Ford team members that we worked with. Dale and our Finance guy are the best! If you need a vehicle go see Dale at Park Ford

2022-03-19I would have to say this is the best dealership experience Ive ever had thus far. I was calling around to purchase a bronco and everytime I called somewhere they would take my name and number and told me they would call me if any came in but never did when they did but here it was different I called and talked to a gentleman name Ty Davis and he told me the same thing but he kept his word because three hours later he called back and told me he had 4 that just rolled off the truck and I came right up and was able to purchase the bronco the same day. I would have to say all the staff that worked there was very polite fast and efficient at getting the whole purchasing process done very fast and I was able to hit the rode in my new bronco in no time ! I definitely recommend this place and just ask for a gentleman named Ty Davis he will take care of you !

2022-06-16Thus far our use of our new Ford Bronco Sport experience has been uneventful. We have driven it GENTLY for 800+ miles in hot (99deg) and very cool temps. No off road as yet. I would recommend the Bronco. In Eco Mode, driving VERY conservatively, mostly 45mph but short sprints of 15miles or so, the gauges show 25+mpg. This car, the Bronco Sport, is a good, no GREAT, alternative to similar sized cars from other manufacturers. Though it is strictly a gas fueled vehicle, I recommend it. We aren’t really ready for the human herd to be all electric as yet anyway.

2022-06-25All 4 departments are great to do business with. Sales and finance worked a miracle for me to finance a new EcoSport 2021. Service has worked on my Ford cars since 2011. And parts always gets me what I need for my cars. Finance has some good plans for maintenance and upkeep of your new car.

2022-02-17Who actually likes the car buying process? That being said Park Ford was the most mediocre Car buying experience I have ever had. They did care, but only about the deal, not so much about us.They did not wrong me, and they did wheel and deal with me, but I felt the care of the customer was lacking. From the sales to the finance office.Hoping the service department is better, if not I can just do my maintenance at Klaben or Sarchione.I would not be afraid to go back, but I cant recommend them either.

2022-02-07These guys are absolutely the best. Nice, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, helpful. I literally will not buy a car from anyone else. This is my second Ford Escape from them in 9 years and love it!

2022-06-16I took my F-150 to Park Ford earlier this week, because of a loud squealing noise coming from the driver side. My truck has 1,500 miles left on its bumper to bumper warranty, so I want to get this taken care of before my warranty is over. They called me the next day and said that the technician took my truck for a drive and couldnt hear anything. Big shocker. So I go and pick my truck up, and it is actually making the noise as Im pulling out of the service bay. I dont know what the problem is with these dealerships. Do they not want to do warranty work? Extremely aggravating and frustrating, especially when you pay over $70,000 for a truck, and they wont honor the warranty
