Panera Bread in other cities:
I usually love Panera, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a while. First off they had two workers and I waited in line with two people in front of me nearly 10 min. When I ordered a coffee, they proceeded to tell me they were out of coffee lids. When I tried to order the chipotle sandwich, they told me they were completely out of chipotle sauce and avocado. Then at the end of my order when I tried to order a bread bowl with my soup, they said they were completely out of bread bowls. The fact that this has been an ongoing issue and I come here at least once. month is quite frustrating. Will not be returning to this location.
Do not order online! Ive ordered 3 times from this location and each time ordered and paid for a brownie for the kiddos and ALL 3 times we did not receive them. Not only did they not advise they were out but they charged me each time and never refunded. I guess I just have to let Panera go while working from home.
I ordered delivery and only received the sandwich and nothing else that I had ordered. I called 8 times before someone finally answered with a smart mouth. I asked for the manager and spoke to Richard and he assured me that he would send a delivery of the rest of my order within 2.5 hours. The items never came. I’m sure it will be a chore to get a refund. I won’t ever order or eat at Panera again.
I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied with Bexley’s Panera. I’ve ordered twice today, and both orders were either incorrect or missing items. I have a coffee subscription, and ordered hot coffee twice today. The first time it was missing from the order, and the second time it was an iced coffee drink. I’ve tried to settle this by phone, but I’ve tried three times, and the phone isn’t answered. After a certain number of rings, it’s just disconnected. I want my money back.
By far the worse service I’ve had. Cashier flat out called me fat for ordering a lot of food…despite the fact I only eat once a day. Then scoffed at me and checked the money I paid with. It was only a $20 bill…it’s not like I’m paying with a $50 or a $100. A $20 is rather common. With service like this I’d rather just eat somewhere else for cheaper.
Panera is one of my favorite little grab and go spots. I love their Frozen Mochas. They have great selection whether you are wanting breakfast, lunch, dinner or anything in between. They have a nice selection too. Would recommend for a light lunch, sweet or savory breakfast item, mid morning snack or dinner. Something for anyones taste.
Wonderful experience. Be sure to visit the one on South High. Food is awesome. Prepared with love & care. Staff very nice! Fast service.Bexley Panera...um different. Slow service and they are unapologetic about it. When I got home and unwrapped my food...Im sure I cussed loud enough for my neighbors to hear!
My office is a busy place, and often times we do not have time to leave to go to lunch. That’s why I love that I can have my order delivered. However, today I placed an order online and after a half an hour after it was due to be delivered, I called to check on it. The guy who answered didn’t have a clue. He said he didn’t know where my order was even though I had an order number, which I gave him. How do you not know where the order is? Or why not ask someone for help locating my order. When I asked about a refund he said I would have to go into the store. I said that was unacceptable and hung up. I called again and I spoke to someone else and he said the manager said that they were not taking any delivery orders today because of the holiday. He did say that I would be getting a credit for my order. Of course I got the email five minutes after I got off the phone with him that my order had been canceled. I have never in my life had customer service this horrible. I understand that because of circumstances you may not be doing delivery orders, but make a change on the website that lets people know that or let me know as soon as I place my order, not three hours after. I will not be ordering from Panera again. The only good thing I will say is that my credit showed up in my account immediately.
A clean store with friendly staff and lots of room to sit. The good was delicious and the new Flatbread pizzas are fantastic and BIG!! Manager Dwayne was super friendly and helpful to not only me but all customers who came in. Overall a really enjoyable experience and highly recommend this particular Panera location in Bexley.
We ordered lunch delivery, one item was a salad that was supposed to have chicken on it - cost is $10.49. It arrived with no chicken on it. The only restitution I was offered was getting a free salad next time I call - the manager Eliana did not take my order number or anything, just said shed write my name in the book, and next time I call, I get the salad free. Thank you, but that does not solve the issue of me paying $10.49 for salad greens and nothing but salad greens to get me through a 10-hour day.
God forbid you have a tomato allergy! Today I ordered an Fuji Apple Chicken Salad no tomatoes extra dressing and extra apple chips. I got not a single apple chip on my salad. The day before I ordered the same except I didnt order and pay for extra apple chips, I got a salad with some tomatoes and no gorganzola cheese. Ive lived and several states and have been eating Panera since 2011, this ALWAYS HAPPENS! Why is it so difficult to get an order correct especially when you pay to have things added?! Think its time to move on until yall are better trained.
By far the best panera bread i have visited in a while. Food and customer service are near excellent for the four times i have visited since relocating to Columbus. A lot of locations in Georgia particularly Atlanta could take a chapter on how to run a smooth operation like this location. I will be back and soon.
A popular meeting place for business, it is certainly good for a fast casual lunch. The only real knock, is that its always too hot or too cold and they have no local control over the dining room temperature. If it is a very cold or very warm day, my group goes elsewhere knowing the environment will be uncomfortable.
I have given them more stars because I love Panera Bread but the service sucked. I waited on 2 vegetarian sandwiches and 2frozen mochas for 15 min. The frozen drinks were done after a few minutes but the person preparing the sandwiches was moving like a snail. Not to mention he made one sandwich and when I said something he was like we need to make more turkey patties. Omgosh help this child because he doesnt know how to read. I order vegetarian sandwiches which do not have meat. I didnt have time for this guy to make another so I had them refund my money. Usually the frozen drinks are good too but this time they tasted funny. It doesnt happen often that I get bad service from this place so I will still go back. I might go to s high st Panera on my way to work next time though.
Showed up at open and they had a call off so they were short handed. Ashley was at the counter and was super sweet and kind but was asking Rob questions and he was being kinda rude and sarcastic. While we waited for our food he was yelling at her for ringing in food after he just told her to ring it up. He was very unprofessional and rude to her and people waiting in the lobby could hear. I get being short handed and was happy to wait for my food but he made this experience poor.
The service at this location is very poor. I placed a rapid pick up order 30 minutes in advance. When I got to the store my order was not ready because they had run out of an ingredient. They did replace it with another item, but that item had to be prepared while the rest of my order sat around getting cold. I was not offered any thing for the inconvenience, not even a fountain drink. This is saddening because I love Panera and this location is close to my home. I will be driving to another location from now on.
Customer service could use some work. This was my second time to this location and the employees could literally care less to speak to you. Their menu needs updated -they no longer sell frescas.Food quality is okay. Restaurant is moderately clean and maintained. Parking sucks about as much as the customer service.
1: This location used to have bad customer service but ever since Tyler became the new manager and Eliana came back to this location service has been a lot better, sometimes theres still issues with the coffee station and condiments but thats the corporate manager fault.2: it would be nice if AC outlets where at every table (I wouldnt mind if I saw conduits along the wall) Im sure this would make customers with laptops very happy at this location.
Very nice atmosphere. I had the you pick two combo..... Cup of soup and half a sandwich. Very good selection of soups and sandwiches to choose from. Some of their tables have access to outlets for charging electronics, and WiFi is available.... but I did not use it so can not comment on speed/quality. Very friendly staff.
Disappointing, must be worst Panera in the county. Five crew people leaned on counters discussing personal issues while manager cleaned tables/windows. My order taker purposely erased the customer loyalty number I entered to avoid dealing with recording a free coffee and she tried to laugh it off. Food was good and hot, but the dining room was extremely hot, with the thermostat set at 80 degrees F on a 95-degree day - very cheap on the managers part. Restrooms were closed with rudely drawn Closed signs, and three more employees sat at a table near restrooms, complaining about Panera.
Love their Kitchen Sink Cook. Wish it wasnt almost $4 but its super tasty so Ill still give a 5⭐ Looking for a close second check out the Chaos Cookie at Smith Farm on Winchester! Great and half the price! Back to Panera. The staff is a lil hit or miss. Sometimes they are nice others they just kinda stare shyly and ask can they help with the exception of Jubilee. Jubilee has always been kind and quick to help. He also engages the customers.
Ive tried this specific Panera several times and it has not lived up to expectations set by other Panera stores. The service is adequate but if this is the norm, I must have lived by an amazing Panera previously. Ive lived near by for two years and after going several times Ive been disappointed with the execution of the food. The hot sandwiches Ive ordered to go are smashed and unappetizing.
Prices might be a tad high, however...Panera has THE BEST CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH!!! Napa Almond chicken!(as long as original recipe is followed; Ive experienced CHUNKY chicken with little to no celery, almond, or grapes... but I returned and was rewarded). The green tea and other beverage selections are good - good to have more options beyond sodas.Nice variety of soups and salads on the menu.Oh!!!! pastries!!!! I MUST encourage others to buy the BEAR CLAW.... more almonds, creamy filling.... perfect!
Bad corner with bad eggs, both literally and figuratively. As a former employee at this location its easy to see why this place is still alive considering its location. But the management there is rude and unprofessional. Ask anyone about the asst Manager robert, very bad attitude towards customers and especially other employees. Ive heard guests and workers gossip about his poor demeanor everytime ive been there since august last year. This guy needs a reiterated lesson in professionalism and tone of voice.
Im not sure, maybe its just my luck but I have yet to have a great experience at this location. I work down the street from this store and everytime I ordered through a rapid pick up, my order was missing items or came out wrong. The management is extremely ineffective and blatantly couldnt care less about correcting mistakes and making a customer feel like the issue has been resolved.
The worst experience at Panera ever. No air conditioning, no baguettes, no crackers. When we went in the girl taking orders was sniffing her hair and leaning on the counter. She had to ask if they had any bread bowls. Then I asked for butter and they didnt have any oc that. No suggestions for substitutes, no apologies...nothing. Very matter of fact responses as though they were doing us a favor by allowing us to eat there. The food they DID have was good. Wont be back to that location and if word of mouth means anything to you, it wont be pretty. $25.00 for soup and a sandwich?? Really?
This particular location messed up my rapid pick up 2 times and evening manager has a little attitude when bringing it to their attention. Worst experience was a delivery I got last week with about a 8 blonde hair in my soup. Im still waiting to hear back from the owners about.
Portions and food definitely not worth the cost. Spent $30 on 2 half sandwiches soup and 2 drinks.. the half sandwich didnt even have hardly anything on it.. the bacon was ice cold on our clubs you can see and taste the grease on the bacon. We were unaware that we have to ask for our bacon to be warmed.. think that should be something the cashier offers.. do you want your sandwich warmwd, do you want your bacon cold or warmed, especially if you have first time customers. The ordering process is a bit overwhelming and you dont even know what comes with what youre ordering. One of our meals didnt come with everything and we got the same meal, had to keep asking for stuff and ultimately just got tired of it and said forget it.. but the only thing I truly enjoyed was my chai tea latte.. Im thoroughly disappointed with the food, quality and the price.. if you spend 6.00 on a half sandwich i need for it to not be the size of a toddler meal. Horrible. Hate it. Disappointed. Wasted my lunch time and $30 in, we are still hungry
(Over-Rated) Never ate Panera Bread before yesterday, me and fiance each got the Greek goddess salad, and a Turkey Bacon sandwich. I literally couldve made a better tasting salad and sandwich myself at home, but the customer service was a plus! Honestly for the prices I was expecting to be wowed. Oh well.....
I love Panera Bread, so I wont give this location one star, but I was really disappointed.I ordered a 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich, as well as a side of cut up watermelon. The salad was fine, but the 1/2 sandwich was more like a 1/4 sandwich, smaller than normal when Ive ordered this same type from different locations. Additionally, was watermelon cup was only half full!! I had ordered ahead using the Panera mobile app, so I hadnt realized the problem until I got back to my office.I would recommend visiting the High Street location instead - much better food presentation and only about 2.5 miles from the Bexley location.
I walked into an empty cafe which is unusual for this location. I walked up to the counter and the employee, James walks over and says hell be right with me. I say ok. A couple minutes go by and another customer walks in and James immediately walks over to service them! I walk over and say Umm did you forget about me? and he says Oh sorry and continues taking the customers order. I was shocked. Not only had I been waiting for him to help me but you didnt even attempt to make the situation right by saying to the other customer, Maam Im sorry but she was her before you and I forgot to take her order. Taking ownership shows accountability! Customer service is nonexistent these days.
This is the worst Panera I have ever been to. I eat at Panera all the time and I use the catering at least once a month. I ordered a bagel pack and a coffee tote the day before my pickup and it was not ready! I had to wait over 35 minutes for it to be prepared. There were no apologies given and they did not rush to get the order done. Then when I called back to file a complaint the manager blamed me for only ordering one day in advance! Please tell me where it says on their site to order more than a day in advance...NO WHERE. So ridiculous. I will never go back to this Panera.
The panera was not the greatest. Firstly, they messed up my order, which thats okay, it happens, but I got served my onion soup without cheese or croutons which is pretty weak. When I asked the cashier about the autumn squash soup and her reply was I dunno. Also the bathroom was not the greatest, as there were flies.
Small compared to other Paneras I frequent, but I didnt have a problem finding a seat. The parking lot is also small, but with additional parking in back, I didnt have any issue finding a spot. Service was a little lacking, but it could have been the time of day (3pm on a Sunday). Overall, basic Panera experience.
Rude customer service! I stand out of the way to decide what I want. Shortly after, the cashier says she can help the next customer. I step up to the register. She is staring at some male customer walking through the door, continuing to say she can help the next customer. Clearly she was trying to get his attention. I have to move in her line of sight and say EXCUSE ME for her to see that I was standing right in front of her. She finally takes my order while continuing to look at the man. She whispers to her coworker that the man is hot. Really? Childish employees.
Got my order wrong 4 times. Had to correct them 4 times. Took them 30 minutes to get it even though I placed it online 30 minutes in advance. Staff was rude and not helpful. Manger did her best to correct the situation. Food is good. However, staff seems to not check their work or care.
Was there for a meeting with a client before heading to work. Food was ok but customer ahead of me was pretty rude, racing ahead to get in the door ahead of me and then letting it close in my face even though I was right behind him. Small complaint and not the fault of the restaurant.
By far the worst Panera Bread in the world. Customer service is horrible, they ALWAYS get my order wrong, wait times are horrible. Not a great representation of Bexley or its residents. If youre going to go to this location, dont waste your time however if you do, make sure you double check your order at the location, 9/10 times something will be incorrect! My company bought me lunches from here every day last week, every single day it was wrong, and they had to correct it.
I would give this place a zero out of 5 if I could. Everyone in Bexley agrees that the service is too slow for microwaveable food and our online food orders dont begin until we arrive for pickup. Well today was my last interaction with your store... The main ingredient in my order was missing, the main f-ing ingredient. I went to paneras website to complain and after spending 5 minutes filling out my complaint the website froze and asked me to start over. Your store is pathetic. You charge too much for reheatable food. You have made me appreciate my experience at White Castle.
Ive been a frequent customer for 2 years now and I will admit. A lot of things was wrong but in these past few weeks Ive noticed a huge change the employees have become better and the food is alot claener and presented well theres a new vibe when you walk in panera from the warm greeting to the friendly interaction so times mistakes ate made but people are human and once that mistake has been brought to the attention of the staff they go above and beyond to fix it with no attitudes they genuinely appoligize and try to make for a better exsperience next time I look forward to my next vist
I keep trying this location, giving it the benefit of the doubt and hoping service is better, but I am regularly dissapointed.I ordered delivery to work today as did my co-worker. She didnt request it but her order came with plasticware. I made sure to request plasticware and butter for my baguette. Order arrives. I check bag. No butter. No plasticware. I even asked the delivery guy if he had any. I checked to be sure I did ask in the comments and sure enough, my request was there. Soup arrived lukewarm, sandwich was soggy.Im officially out of second chances for this Panera location.
Terrible experience!!! Ordered carry out salad w/chicken got home but no chicken on salad. Went back and person that made the order wanted to argue with me until I showed her my receipt. She than gets a attitude with me and shoves the salad at me and walks away. Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever experienced!!!
Teresa is the worst cashier, extremely rude, communication skills suck. If YOUR menu changed you should say that instead of rudely snapping about how that is not an option so after I changed my order and you still managed to get it wrong... waste of time, eat elsewhere.
I placed an order on Wednesday for pick up Sunday morning. When I come to pick it up not only is it not ready but they have no record of the order (which I gave to them clearly printed out for them). This review is not based on one bad experience but many. It really is one of the worst ones I have been to.
I ordered a Frontega Sandwich on Ciabata bread, a Watermelon Grain Salad, and a small bag of chips. My server dropped my chips on the floor and was about to place the bag back on my tray next to my sandwich. A good thing I stopped her because the manager who was standing there watching didnt move a muscle. The only reason I went there was to see how they prepared my sandwich because the location on Taylor Road left wax paper on my sandwich after they placed it in the panini press and served it to my just like that. I am trying to practice clean eating. So far, not really working.
This stores manager and an employee named Kenya seriously just interupted our family meal to accuse my 11 year old of commenting with a racially charged comment against this employee, Kenya! My son was simply saying he liked this picture they havehanging in the back of the establishment of a brown dog in a kitchen like setting. He said it was beautiful, interesting and he couldnt keep his eyes off of it! This Kenya girl seriously just eaves dropped into my sons conversation with me and his family that wasnt being said loudly at all and twisted an innocent boys words that she clearly didnt listen to all of when he was simply admiring a painting! After defending my son against this outrageous accusation that was made in a very unprofessional manner, publicly and pretty loudly in front of the entire dinning area... We were told to leave and even were threatened. Upon asking for the managers name as politley as I could after this traumatic experience, non of the employees would speak to me and the manager was hiding in the back of the kitchen area so that I couldnt report her by name. I have called corporate and i will not stop until this is made right. These ignorant, unprofessional and downright rude people should not be working directly with the public let alone customers since they clearly cannot conduct themselves and handle situations appropriately. My familys names and images have been publicly tarnished, we have been traumatized and fear going to this establishment! If it were possible to give a 0 star rating I would do so in a heartbeat!
Ok I hate this place so much. The food is good but like THEYRE SO SLOW AND MESS UP THE ORDER EVERY TIME I AM SO MAD THEY MADE ME CRY. THEY FORGOT MY COOKIE. And they mess up almost every time I get carry out. Portion very small. Very slow. Ugh. UGH. Goodness. I hate my life when I am there lol I wont go back to this location
The bad reviews are probably because of management. (Rick and Colton) They fired my daughter and took her off the schedule without even notifying her first. So after taking the bus to work, she went in to find out shes fired. I guess that is a normal thing around there, according to Rick.
Beware of Panera I eat here twice I ordered some soup and I watch the girls take it and put it in a microwave and give it to me and I said you guys microwave your soup and stuff and she said yes its all pre-made and we just warm it up if I wanted microwave soup I could have done that at home and there prep area that everyone can plainly see it was not clean any of the times
This Panera is absolutely the worst. The employees are rude, the place is beyond unorganized and it’s messy inside. I’ve been going to this Panera Bread for years and it has really gone down hill since changing managers. I live down the street from this location but would rather drive 20 min away to another location.
First and last visit seemed very unorganized when i walked in, food over priced for the quality, i was asked if i wanted sliced apples or bread with my orders recieved 1 whole apple and unwrapped french bread all in same bag salad and sandwich was good by the way ,employees just handed me my bags no thanks, come again .

2022-06-11Sad looking sandwich. This was supposed to be a Turkey bacon bravo. No lettuce and had to use gross soggy cherry tomatoes. Called to complain and they said they don’t have supply’s in stock.it was early afternoon on a Saturday.

2022-05-08Please make a better setup for those of us who are members of the Sip Club. Drink cups should be self serve next to the drinks. There should be iced coffee lids by the coffee station so you don’t have to walk all the way across the restaurant to get a lid, which is annoying when the lines are long and there are people everywhere to have to squeeze through. One of the perks for the Sip Club is that you’re supposed to be able to stop in for a quick drink pickup. Not worth it if you have to wait in line to ask for a cup despite placing a rapid pick up order, or interrupt someone at the counter to ask for a cup. The employees are working hard! No need to slow them down for someone like me who just wants to stop in for a drink.

2022-05-06Placed a pick up order at 8:27am to be picked up at 11:40am. Order soup and a half salad. Show up at 11:45 and was told they were out of soup. Why would you allow someone to order something you don’t have in stock? If I didn’t have coworkers waiting outside for me to pick up my order I would have gotten a half sandwich in place of the soup. In the future a phone call to notify customers that something on their order can’t be fulfilled would be appreciated.

2022-06-14This Panera is great, the staff gave excellent customer service and were very welcoming. Even the manager was friendly. They are fast and very efficient. They give old school customers service which is hard to comeby these days. Cant wait to visit again.

2022-01-25Under-staffed but Im patient. Can get busy in mornings to 1pm. Located near senior living so you always see nice, friendly seniors (regulars) all the time. Staff is young...majority >25 years old. Establishment is clean inside too.I recommend the 1/2 and 1/2 Turkey Bravo and Broccoli cheddar soup. Comes with a baguette as well. Sign up for free Panera card to earn those rewards. Got a free cookie on one order when I swiped my keychain.

2022-02-22Just a quick stop for the wife to get a baguette and some baked items. The parking lot is small for such a busy location. She got what she wanted and we were done in less than 10 minutes.

2021-12-28Food is always good and the restaurant is clean, but the last 3 orders have not been correct. Most recently I ordered a whole salad and only received half salad. I also requested extra salad dressing and did not receive it.

2021-08-30This is my first time here for breakfast and most likely my last. I dont think the food was worth the price. The sandwich should had cost $3 instead of $5. Lack of flavor in the whole sandwich. I got a mango smoothie and it was mostly a yogurt taste.Dont get me wrong i do like their soup and sandwiches at lunch and dinner time....just not breakfast. I might give them another try.
