Panda in other cities:
Very greasy. Not much flavor. General Tso’s was more like sweet and sour or orange chicken. Bourbon chicken was over cooked and in a clear sweet liquid with lettuce. Crab rangoons were essentially just cream cheese. Veggie Lo Mein was spaghetti noodles - not joking or exaggerating. Truly the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had.
I’ve been eating at this place for the better part of 12 years. I have to get it at least once a month. It’s a hole in the wall type place, but don’t let its older look deter you. There’s a reason they’ve been around for so long! The best Chinese food I’ve ever had was in China Town during my stay in New York, I swear, this place has the same quality as New York Chinese food! They NEVER disappoint my family!
Ok, I just called Panda on South Limestone and I forgot i had my Bluetooth on. I apologized for and stated I to place an order. I could tell that the man was frustrated and YELLED! WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT! My answer: How rude you are Ill call someone else! Typical customer service for this area, such a disappointment, and to think I was going y ok give them another try!
I admire this spot! They prepare great dishes, their menu is nice, The cook in that place is a real pro, I love a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the guests is nice. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.
I always had went to this location. But when I was pregnant with my son they actually gave me raw beef. I can not make this up. It was red, it was not put on the pan what so ever.I had gave them the food back and had received a refund.I have them another chance. This past time I had got my father some shrimp egg rolls and he liked them. So I went back the following day and had got my father some more shrimp egg rolls.OH MY GOSH. That shrimp was so horrible!!! You could smell the taste.Never again.
Chicken Fried Rice was dry ,tasteless and overall just bad! Almost like it had been made a week ago and just reheated. Worst fried rice Ive ever had! Two stars as their Chicken Lo Mein was the best Ive ever had and quite unique with how they sauced and spiced it! 👍 Overall would I go there again....no.
I used to eat here twenty years ago or so. I stopped in because its near my house. Very disappointed in the food. I ordered the egg foo yung and instead of omelettes I was served salty, frozen/thawed pancakes of some sort. The brown sauce was not the rich gravy I was accustomed to. The lo mein noodles looked and tasted like spaghetti. Very unfortunate change in quality.
My experience with this place was interesting. The people seemed hostile towards me and wouldnt stop staring. The food itself was..interesting. I got rice and chicken. While the rice wasnt entirely too bad (reason for the 2 star), the chicken was not so good. It tasted bland and flavorless, and Ill I had received were fatty pieces. I dont think I will visit again.
Hot fresh food made to order for takeout. I enjoyed the Panda chicken my first visit. It came with pork fried rice and a crispy egg roll. Since then I have gone through the chicken dishes and I have never been disappointed. My favorite is Hunan chicken. Fresh veggies and savory, spicy sauce make it delicious. I also enjoy the combination lo mein. The large portions last me 2 days. Would give 5 stars if they delivered.
Panda The oldest chines restaurant in springfield. Good stuff to go! --1 star for interior decor. Its a clean sort of shabby to my eyes. I go down to Duncan and eat there. They should just do walk-ins.-1 star for crab sticks. 13 inches long 3 fried crab meat sticks for $2.50. Thats right Im taking a whole star away from the whole restaurant for one snack menu item. ITS FAKE CRAB! imitation cod meat formed into sticks. I tried to talk to them! Tellem! No good! I cannot believe these guys dont know its imitation crab. What are they thinking!
I dont understand the great reviews the place has, it was terrible, tasteless food. Especially the crab rangoon has no flavor. And the food always taste funny. Before the food is ok, but now i wont come back. P.S. If you want best Chinese food in springfield, you should try Hnglung Chinese food restaurant, just 3 more minutes far away.
Looks Good Does nt It Its Called the Four Seas.... Well to be totally Honest I did not finish my meal it was HORRIBLE. The whole dish tasted like it had been frozen and warmed up partially. THE MEAT IN THE DISH TASTED OUT DATED IF IT HAD SPOILED.. VERY DISAPPOINTED IF I HAD MORE TIME I WOULD HAVE ASK FOR A REFUND BUT DUE TO MY JOB AND TIME LIMIT I DECIDED TO GIVE A REVIEW AND HELP THE NEXT PERSON BY TELLING THEM DONT COME HERE OR IF U DO DONT ORDER THIS DISH!!!THE WONGTONG SOUP WAS OK BUT THATS ABOUT IT. THERE ALSO WAS A HORRIBLE SMELL COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE RESTURANT WICH SMELLED LIKE SPOILED FISH!! IM JUST SAYIN YALL KNOW ME I GIVE HONEST REVIEWS #letsguideFollow me on Instagram @nooncie For more #localguide Reviews!!!
I live on the opposite side of town with 2-3 chinese restaurants within a few blocks of my home but when it comes to Chinese food, I ALWAYS go to Panda. I have yet to have a bad experience there. The crab rangoon is the best, in my opinion, than all the other places in town. I always order the butter potatoes as well. Panda is definetly a family favorite.
I used to absolutely love this Chinese place it was my favorite however I got the general tsos tonight and the chicken tasted and looked like it was the microwavable kind you buy at the store the sauce was much lighter then it used to be the fried rice was ok and the egg rolls was much smaller then they used to be I am very disappointed only thing that stayed the same was the decent prices and the friendly faces

2022-09-01Was served Chop Suey instead of Chow Mein. Chow Mein is half cooked noodles, that are finished in the wok with veggies and proteins. Chop Suey mixed veggies in a white sauce served over deep fried noodles. They dont even know what they are serving.

2022-04-01First time for more than 40 years. Everything we ordered was really good. Their online order was really easy and worked well. Probably give them 5 stars after we have a good second order.

2022-02-08A normal common order from Panda. The building still could use a professional paint job on inside and out. But food was good. Service was good size of meal was good. Which we all know is important because of this kind of food passed through the stomach to get another round of hunger pains relatively quickly.

2021-03-14Convenient location and the staff is friendly and COVID-aware, but for what you pay, the food could have been better cooked and more flavorful.

2022-07-23Egg foo young is a pork cutlet drowned in salty brown gravy with vegetables? Thats what I ended up with anyway. (I think it was pork, not chicken.) It was not any kind of egg foo young I ever saw.

2022-04-09Got general tsos, the chicken was mostly raw. Stomach does not feel good, there was barely any meat to the chicken anyways.
