Panda Express in other cities:
I have the same complaints as most people for this location . Co workers more worried about clocking out then serving . Portions were very very very small . I usually go to the panda in Rocky River , there portions are normal . Not to self to not come to this locations again
I do pick up from here all the time, they never give me my cup next to my order nor did they put my chicken roll in my order for pick up. I had to ask for my cup, not knowing they didn’t put my roll in there just walked out. Kinda of ridiculous I pick up half my order and have to ask, and pay for something I never even got. Will never order from here again as it’s always something
My daughter and I went out for what I had hoped to be a relaxing lunch. At the order board we were told that they were completely out of the dish I wanted, had limited supply of what my daughter ordered and forced substitutes on us. When we finally got our food and found a parking space where we could eat (the dining room is still closed), we discovered we were given the wrong order. We drove back to the location (Avon, OH). I approached the window on foot to avoid waiting another 20 minutes in the line of cars. The people in line were nasty about my having stepped in because they, too, had been waiting a long time to get their order. The woman at the window was hostile toward me, demanded I produce my receipt to prove the order was wrong (I did) and continued to smart mouth me. She told me to get back in line be because it would be at least 15 minutes for them to remake the order. The saving grace was a young woman named Lay who brought the order out in three minutes with a smile and an apology. The sad part . . .the order was still wrong. We ate what was given.
The sign on the door and online says they close at 9. I pulled up to the drive through at 7:40 to be told they close in 20 min so they have a limited menu. The girl in the drive through sounded irritated that I even had the audacity to pull up to a business just a mere 20 minutes until they close. When the building and online say otherwise.
In side dinning still closed ( no staff) ! This way you can not see what there putting in your box and passing out the drive thru window. Paid for veggies, got 2 pieces of brockley. Tray mostly all rice, maybe 4 pieces of orange chicken. And they told me it would be a 6 minute wait on them veggies! If I still wanted them. I waited. And just got the 2 little pieces of brockley.
I shopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon 5/22.Special recognition for Marisol D, who was managing the restaurant when I visited. Despite the staffing shortages affecting business across the nation, she found a way to deliver a delicious and fresh meal, quickly, with a warm smile. I enjoyed my brief interaction with her and appreciate all of those workers who keep us fed.
Quality of both food and service had gone way down over the past year or so. A few months ago I went about 30 mins after they open and was told that most of their menu wasn’t available yet because they “had just opened”, I’ve worked in restaurants before and everyone would arrive hours in advance to prep and have the entire menu available at opening. Another instance was actually yesterday, we went at around 8p, their websites says that they close at 9p, and was told that most of their menu was unavailable because their shift ends at 830p although their own site says otherwise, again, I’ve worked restaurants and you have the ENTIRE menu available up until the doors lock. Either employees at this location are soft and don’t wanna work or management is the one to blame for not mandating better standards out of their employees. Either way I doubt I’ll be going back anytime soon.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Being a previous employee of this place, the management is TERRIBLE along with the employees who wouldn’t know customer service if it hit them in the face. The food you order sits for a long while before they serve it to you and don’t go after 6pm if you want it fresh. Bad enough they didn’t pass with health inspector. They can’t keep a general manager since they’ve had like 4 in the last 3 years. DO NOT EAT OR WORK HERE EVER. Manager is to blame for the terrible employee attitudes.
This has been one of my favorite places for a quick and remotely healthy meal. Over the last few months I have noticed food has not been good (seems like it has been sitting so its more watery and mushy), it maybe that I am ordering food that has been sitting. Either way it has not been up to the standards I am use too from this location.
Giving two stars is being generous. I missed going to Panda Express and yesterday was my first time going there since the start of COVID. What a disappointment. Arrived around 7:50pm. One of the items I was hopping to get was out and was told it would be 8 minutes till a new batch was made so I made another selection. The person behind my had the same issue and decided to wait. We found a table sat down and noticed there were no utensils I asked one of the workers for a fork. Two minutes later finally got a plastic fork. After all this one of the workers tell the people who decided to wait the now they are out of product and asked if they would like something else. By this time it is a little after 8pm and someone locks the door so no one else can come in. The sign on the door says that dine in closes at 9pm.If Panda does not step up there game they will become like restaurants in Elyria and Lorain that are empty and crumbling away. My experience yesterday was a huge disappointment as I have been craving Panda Express ever since COVID restrictions have been lifted.
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service at the drive thru today 2/14! The girl taking orders could not have been more rude! I have NEVER been interrupted multiple times while placing an order to be rudely told we were not ordering correctly! Moving forward we will be taking our business to a restaurant that would appreciate our business! And to the girl working today at 2pm learn some customer service skills! We will NOT be returning to this location again!
A typical Panda Express. I like the honey walnut chicken and the teriyaki chicken. The food is always fresh, the chicken tender and the service is generally fast and always friendly when Ive bern here. I usually get a plate with 2 entrées and chow mein noodles. Easily made 2 meals off it.
,, weve gone to this store many many times and I feel like the quality of the food has dropped quite a bit, recently they had a $3 off online order of their new menu item but when we tried to order online it wasnt available for this store oh, when we drove to the store and ask them to use the offer code through their drive-thru they said unfortunately because theyre undermanned they cant fill the order and give the $3 discount. I called customer service and explain to them the issue of not being able to order online and getting the discount offer on the last day and they wouldnt even budge, you would figure a company that makes millions of dollars a year would be able to help a customer by giving them a discount to use on their next order but the lady said she couldnt do that. It looks like Ill be eating at the restaurant next door and not using them anymore., also it seems like theyre always out of the teriyaki sauce that you pour over the chicken teriyaki and the ones that come in the packets... the sauce is just nasty, you would think a restaurant would order more than enough to be able to supply customers with enough condiments but this store apparently is trying to cut corners or something.
Well lets start with this place is a hot mess. From the 35 minute wait time in the drive thru at 8 pm on a monday to the incredibly small portions this location is a disaster( my third visit) I would say try the Rocky river location a much more professional site and better quality control.Try and improve this mess please.
Updated review: the portion sizes at this location are a joke. Everything is half full from what it normally would be. Also they didn’t give me the food. Didn’t discover that it was wrong until I got home. I’m pretty sure it’s the same guy filling the order every time.Don’t order online. Be very skeptical of the accuracy and size of the portions. Make them fill the order in front of you.Awful. I won’t be back.
The manager (i cant remember her name) actually made a world of difference in this store. Usually i dread going when my kids and girlfriend want to eat here. This past tuesday night was the best visit ive had here thanks to her. I didnt have to stand there waiting on one of the 5 workers to finish their ghetto story to be served crunchy dry food. Everything was fresh, clean, quick and good. I didnt feel ignored and she was was super friendly while hustling along the line.
I liked the orange chicken, fried rice and, spring rolls; the food tasted good and the portions were sized well for the money. The interior of the store was clean and the employees were friendly. The only reason this place didnt get 4 stars is because I think that if you are going to name a restaurant Panda Express, you should have at least one panda dish on the menu, they have none. I asked several of the employees about the lack of panda on the menu and they all confirmed they dont have it and dont expect to have it in the future, not even panda nuggets.Anyway, if you are looking for a fast Americanized Chinese food place, this is it; if you are looking to eat some actual panda, keep driving.
Not good. Everything was way over sauced, beef so dry it was almost jerky, the rice was completely flavorless. Husband didnt like his choices either. Portions left something to be desired but since it didnt taste good it didnt matter. Wont be back, there are plenty of better options out there to waste your money and pallet here.
If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened, I live right in Avon so it was convenient. Slowly, it went downhill. Last time I went my chicken was RAW, and other times before that dry and old. The workers are incredibly slow, and not the politest. This place started off great, but the management needs some work to restore it..
As long as you know what youre expecting, Panda is great. Its not a high class Chinese food experience. But its different than the very cheap Chinese food you find at a lot of places. Its kind of in the middle, and more fast food like. If you go in with that mentality, its great. The sauces are sweet and/or spicy, but always flavorful. The food is always hot and the service is pretty fast. No complaints here!
Friendly workers, efficient service. They did not have the tofu eggplant which is why I went there so that was disappointing. I ended up just having the mixed veggies in a bowl with rice. Veggies were pretty good. I really want to try that tofu eggplant dish so that is the only reason I may go back.
On 7/3/20, my wife and i visited your Avon, OH store (#2661) around 5:30(ish)pm. It was my second time trying your food, my wifes first time. Just a week before, i had a good experience in your Rocky River, OH restaurant BECAUSE THEY KEPT THEIR MASKS ON. Not so much your Avon store. Long story short...two of your employees(India & Emily) were laughing and talking over the food they were preparing WITH THEIR MASKS PULLED DOWN, MOUTHS EXPOSED. They did NOT handle me & my wifes food and we will NOT be coming back. Were in the middle of a PANDEMIC and your employees dont care. I can only imagine how much spit is flying into food during their 8 hour shifts. If you think im lying or exaggerating, feel free to pull the security footage from our visit. We were the only ones in the building ordering. Cant miss us, the interracial couple, receipt is time stamped 5:42:15 pm. Hopefully the next person doesnt hit record on their phone for all of social media to see two of you irresponsible staff members in the middle of a pandemic.
The food is hit or miss. Sometimes over cooked sometimes on point. The prices are a little high for the quality and their soda machine is almost always going flat or losing its syrup they dont pay much attention to the soda machine especially the cleaning of it. The restaurant is usually messy in the dine in... Generally I like to sit closest to the door because Im dying to eat my food and get out. I go here because its fast and its convenient instead of a buffet or ordering. They need to add wonton soup too they lack it.
This place is always a hot mess. My family loves the food at Panda, so we have visited this location about once a month since it opened. It always seems really disorganized--behind on getting food out, and opening the doors later than scheduled. Weve decided if we need a Panda fix, were going to drive-through rather than dine in, but it will definitely be less often. There are too many great choices in the surrounding area to keep coming back to a bad one.
The rice is horrible!!! Bland and Sticky! The Noodles is horrible, under-cooked and bland! Portions are very small for the price. Drive through is an 20 minute wait, service is faster inside. If you want Chinese food go to a real Chinese place. Restaurants in the hood taste better than this!!
Beyond upset and disappointed ☹️ last time ordering from them Ever !!!! I only got chicken and chow noodles and the noodles were dry the chicken was hard . Also asked for a large passion fruit tea and I got a unsweetened tea with no ice ☹️ Egg rolls were burnt my friends food was just as bad rudest and nastiest place ever .
Most of the time you get lucky (I am talking about the drive-thru) and aren’t stuck behind confused food ordering people who just happen to have the heaviest inertia when it comes to ordering food. But hey we are talking about panda here. Food, staff’s friendliness and freshness count and they Rock!!! Maybe customers could come more prepared in the drive thru. But hands down they are superb.
You know how when you go to a Chinese place and the rice in the noodles and the rice in the noodles and the vegetables is mainly what you get and then they sprinkle the meats on that you choose at a minimum Panda Express is exactly the opposite if you cant get two meals at least out of your dinner somethings wrong they certainly dont skimp on the meats I will definitely be back
Only 1 star because you cant do zero. Highly disappointed in this place. They had no potstickers and everything was running low. The staff were all young and did not act like they wanted to be there. Very rude to my 15 yo niece. The food was nothing to write home about. My honey sesame chicken tasted like it wasbreheated several times. Ill never go back.
O panda panda!!! Okay I am biased as I love Panda Express. I have sometimes taken a long detour from interstates to get to panda. But getting back to this location- absolutely delightful!!! Friendly staff offering fresh food. Never stale, never different in taste.I must say that people can go faster in the drive thru which is my primary way of having their food but it’s totally worth the wait.
Drove 20 mins as I was beat after a rough morning. Walking is an issue. Drove there cause I usually like their honey walnut shrimp and rice is decent and they gave a drive thru. . At drive thru, note saying not working. Drove up to window thinking I could order there, no one came! After 5 mins went inside. Honey walnut shrimp was raggy, smaller shrimp than usual and shrimp serving was even small though I had a double entree order. Then it started raining!! No one really cared the drive thru was out and with a cane it was tough getting in. Poor!
Had no idea you HAD to wear a mask in this establishment! Last time I was at Panda Express you didnt! We get there and posted on the door was a sign saying you have to wear a mask to go in but I HAD NO MASK WITH ME! I dont just carry them around with me like tampons! I think theyre nasty, and seeing them tossed allover parking lots makes me not want to be that person!rking lots makes me sick. Im not scared, I see no need for one! I just went to Put in Bay this past weekend and everyone was neck to neck and out of probably 10,000 people like 3 had on masks! Youre worried about 2 or 3 ppl??? Really. Clearly if I had the coronavirus, I would have gotten it over there. Its not right to refuse someone service because they dont have a mask! Look at all the people at wal mart and other places...seriously??? I love panda express but wont be back to this location! As an extra note, after my bf got into a half hour feud because we apparently arent welcome, we we went through the drive through and the food was delicious but just not worth the argument, stress, and fighting!
I didnt think that a Panda Express could be so awful. 5:30pm on a Monday; empty pans, rude server, very oily undercooked noodles and the place was dirty. The place didnt seem very busy either which is not a great sign either. I LOVE Panda Express but I wont be going back to this one.
I work only 15 minutes from here (& my mo-in-law lives close to work), but 15 mins isnt enough time in my 30min break to come get food, eat, & make it back! I loved my last visit even tho the veggies were hard in the middle (under-steamed imo) & watery. Loved what I chose, tho!I visited again!! (Finally) And my husband, who is a Chinese food snob and a total scrimper was jealous of my dish, liked it, & thought was a good portion for what we paid. (Yay all around! It passed the test!)
I go there atleast twice a week and get the same 4 things and every week they mess up my order when I want brown vegetable rice they give me white rice and when I want sauce on the side they completely forget to give me sauce. They also have me napkins with sauce on them. Disappointed. If this changes then Ill do back but from now on Im headed to midway mall.
First time customer. Ordered an entree and the three cream cheese rangoon side by the drive thru. Should have checked my order before I left. No rangoon. Not a very good first impression for a new place in town folks.I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken bowl with the side being steamed rice. The bowl was FULL of rice with a smattering of the entree on top. I had asked to see if it could be made mild. I was told rather sharply NO, and its very spicy. So I took it anyway. It is very spicy. Obviously drive thru food is made in advance and held in a warmer.Based upon the food and service I wont go back. Too bad because its close to me.
Was so excited to finally have a Panda nearby, but my visit on sept 23rd was really bad. The service was fine but the entrees were horrible. I had the Beijing beef and kung pao chicken, and they were both mushy. Almost... under cooked? Idk it was really different from other pandas. Panda is one of my favs, but not this place... Just skip it honestly...
To preface my review, I hold corporate restraunt chains to an extremely high standard due to capital availability, venture investments, cash flow, training programs, etc. This location is doing well. Environment is clean, and customer facing staff were customer service oriented during my visit. I was double charged but it was an honest mistake and immedietly corrected.I Dined in today at about noon. Vegetables in wok entrees were raw which did effect the flavor profiles. (raw onion & sauteed onion have two very distinct flavors). Celery waste (florets) were mixed in with lo mein and overall side dish tasted dry and bland. A touch of pan and grill oil or olive oil could prevent this and also protect the cabbage from wilting. One other small suggestion, as a chef, I am deeply annoyed by kitchen timers. The dining room is full of beeps, dings, buzzers, etc. and they are loud and very distracting. If you are using these as a novelty to prove that production staff are responding, then have them do so immedietly as typical guests with no kitchen experience do not absorb these as background noise. Consider turning the volume down on the timers. They are meant to be reminders not fire alarms.Consider grouping your items. Your customers are smart, but differentiating items as sides, entrees, premium entrees, and add ons would be helpful and move your line along during peak times.Other than these very small, easiley cured items, I think you are doing wonderful and I would recommend you to friends and even family.
Ordered online and should have been ready by the time it took me to drive there, living 10 mins away, walked on the store, not a single customer and my order was still sitting on the printer. Couldnt tell who was in charge but no one came up to me and said sorry of the inconvenience or anything of the sort. Not sure what the point of ordering online is if you have to wait there while they make it.
We were visiting Cleveland OH. from out of state when we thought we would grab a late lunch. There was nothing express about it at 3:30 in the afternoon. The staff was all in a bad mood. No one was smiling or seemed friendly. They all looked like they hated being there. The fried rice was dry and unflavored. Will not he our choice next time.
I will never go there any more.I been there for 3 times and every time I have a problems with my order.First time the over charged me, my order was for $38.00 I was charged over $198.00 and took for ever to get my refund.Second time they gave me the wrong order and third time was today we order through the drive through, got our order and got home to find that they didn’t put 2 items but we got charged for it...I will never go back there ever
My husband and some of my friends at work had a meeting later that afternoon and we got the food and went back to the office when Linda my boss starts choking on a chicken bone in her rice she is good now but they need to be more careful cause they forget to give me my credit card back and after a day had passed we noiced it was gone no phone call nothing
Lazy people waited in line for nothing nobody was in front of me had zero food prepared everything was empty everyone standing around doing nothing but playing with them selfs wasn’t at all busy just wasted my time. walked out when I heard was gonna b another 10 15 minutes to prep what I wanted
I like Panda Express I just wish they could get my order right most of the time and when I order orange chicken not give me something thats not orange chicken I hate to pay good money for food that I think Im getting and I will end up not getting what I paid for and I cant just go back because Im on my way to work and I grabbed it for lunch and I dont want to waste of time an effort to go back they got good food but just not what I wanted get your game right Panda Express
My food was dry and incorrect had no flavor I feel as thou the menu is a lie I ordered a build your own “ bigger plate ” and it was normal sizes with a pint of orange chicken 😒 I’m so disappointed I won’t even be eating it I want my money back from DoorDash and Panda Express
Rather eat fake food like McDonalds no disrespect this place is expensive and u get more rice than you do meat and the rice is terrible...it wouldnt fill up a 5year old with its small portions...panda express tuhhhh more like koala bear express knock his place down and put a Popeyes chicken and add some flavor and diversity to Avon

2022-07-18This is the first time that Ive ever been to Panda Express. Upon walking through the door we were greeted which was very unexpected and also nice at the same time. Upon ordering our food I noticed that they were not to organize with the way they handle. Each customer can do a little bit better with this. So for this reason I took away one star. The next thing I noticed was the food the chicken had not been seared also had very little flavor when it came to teriyaki. The noodles and cabbage were very dry and I mean almost dry to the point where you would choke on them. They also had no flavor to them in order to have a little flavor. I had to soak them in the sauce that came with the orange chicken. So for this I took away as star as well. However, the place was very clean. It was pretty much quiet as well. The last thing I will touch bases on was the price. For the quality of the food the price was way too high and for the same price me and my family could have ate a Golden corral and got really full and had an assortment of things to eat. So because of this I take away another star. This is why they got two stars from me. I will never eat it this disgusting restaurant again.

2022-04-22We just finished dinner inside at the Avon location and it was fabulous! So happy they were fully staffed and my sweet fire chicken was perfect! MR. had the orange chicken and Beijing beef and really enjoyed it. Good job 👏

2021-07-01It was very dirty, the food was hard and noodles was very dry. The manager ask us which one was the egg roll. It was ten times better when Kamilla was there. Caleb was very nice and helpful and so was the young man that waited on us. However it wasnt the best

2022-05-03Couldn’t even order because they are not “allergy friendly” I was told they can not take anything out the meal or add anything. Well I wanted the black peppered angus steak and was told I could not take out the mushrooms, which my husband is highly allergic too but was told they have the peppered chicken instead. I mean thank you for giving me another option but if I wanted chicken I would of ordered chicken…..chicken and steak two totally different meats.

2022-03-14The two of use had gotten nasty food poisoning from what I presume to be a suffering Panda Express location. If you take a look at the area the Panda Express we went to is dead smack in the middle of three very popular fast food chain restaurants. These include: of Arby’s, Culver’s, and Wendy’s. When we decided to have Panda Express I had noticed that it was the only chain that did NOT have any sort of line when we arrived. The most popular seemed to be Culver’s with a famously long line; Wendy’s came in second with a healthy sized line, and Arby’s came in third with a 3 car line. With this information in mind, I predict that Panda Express is not doing too well in the area against the more popular competition. Since it is not doing as well as it’s competition, this means they’re not making as much money to keep up with a healthy flow of product. This also means that staffing may not be the greatest which came cause issues like keeping up with cleanliness. Our rice was either undercooked, or reheated old rice. This tells me that whoever is in charge of ordering product was not able to order enough fresh rice, therefore they had to reheat old rice. And all this resulted in food poisoning.

2022-07-18I dont normally write negative reviews but today was a repeat from the time before . I went through drive thru and as im ordering young female seems annoyed . Instant attitude. Lo mein had a 10 minute wait , and then beef broccoli had a 2 min wait... I said i was fine with waiting. Pull up to window , and food was ready . Drove 45 minutes to get home , to see that my beef broccoli was nothing but broccoli, with only 1 piece of meat... So why did i pay 8.20for beef broccoli??? Not to mention broccoli wasnt cooked.... Not the first time i have dealt with an attitude at this location. But definitely the first time i payed alot for food that was unsatisfactory! Definitely wont be back.. ill wait till Sandusky builds their panda!

2022-04-10This place has gone under it used to be so good. Now the rice is usually under cook or over cooked. The vegetables and meats are usually very small amounts. However they will give a lot of onions. Just not the same.

2022-06-13They messed up daughters order three times through drive thru!! Seriously had to go inside to get right order. It was only beef and broccoli with noodles. Staff was friendly but there was no way it should have taken that many times to get it right.

2022-05-13One of the better locations Ive visited. Theyre fast, the staff is friendly, the place is clean, and Ive never gotten bad food from there.
