Its a lot of fun for everyone! This is our second time visiting the park and we took our time at various places in the park. Theres a butterfly garden and yes there were butterflies. Theres a nice description of the plants and the butterflies associated with them. Someone took the time to put together a small set of dinosaurs mounted to a board and the names of each. It was just laying on the picnic table for everyone to view. There are several swing types that includes for all to enjoy. The treehouse area is accessible and there are several small huts to access. A cement trail through the area beside the treehouse has several instruments that the adults and children enjoy playing. Thats the nice thing about it is that the adults can have some of the fun right along with the kids.Beware of the slipping hazard that the dry leaves on the deck walkway are causing, weve seen several children fall.
Within Rotary Park great parking, bathroom doors open, just a good place. I noticed as I drove by it was the only place in the park or the parking lot was full. Tons of kids taking a vantage of the outdoor even on a cold day.Beautifully situated the sun is shining on this area all day long
We love Owens place! The adults especially love the shade, the kids love well... everything!! The spinner, swings and tree houses were among favorites this visit. The accessibility is fantastic, and there is something for everyone. Cant wait for trails to be completed and for more additions to be announced and completed.
Such a great park! There is tons of things to play on and run around space for kids. The slides and hill was the 2 year old (and mu husbands) favorite. I loved the walking trails. They are short little nature scenics trails right to the side of the large wood walking and play structure. It wasnt too crowded, maybe 3 other families there. It is large enough to hold many people with plenty of space. There is pavilions, swings, slides, benches, hills, grass fields, baseball fields, play sets, huge wooden castle like fortress, trails, and tons of close parking.
Great extremely large park with plenty of things for kids and family to do and enjoy. Large empty field for families to bring their own equipment to play with, artificial grass hill for kids to slide it down with pieces of cardboard or snow type sleds, a huge wood built area kind of like a deck but massively huge for a kids to run around on and play on with small rock climbing walls fire poles and a fire pole that spring loaded that brings you down on its own as well as some wood built small huts for kids to play with and a wooded area for kids to plan as well and a walking trail with some musical instruments for kids to play with as well and a little art looking area with some rainbow colored glass. Very nice park. Oh, and slides and these metal pole things you site and slide on too.
Amazingly clean, incredibly inclusive playground. Loved it. The cardboard alerting hill was my favorite part. Kids all seemed to be having a blast.Probably should remove some of the baseball sized rocks that have been gathered in the treehouse area. Watched one kid about brain another with one.
If you have young children, you should check out this place. It is accessible for all children with swings, treehouses, and other activities for children with physical challenges including wheelchairs. It is fun for all. And bring a cardboard box and slide down a turf hill!
This is an absolutely fantastic park! It was built with the inclusion of all kiddos, even those that need help to get around and play. For example, the amazing tree house has a wide, very sturdy ramp that is easy for wheeled vehicles to get up as well as being really fun to run up and down. While I cannot say enough good things about the treehouse, the rest of the area is wonderful to, including a merry go round that anyone can get on (its flesh with the ground) swings and even a slide that looks accomodating. The entire park is amazing but Owens Place had a special place in my heart.
I’ve taken my daughter here numerous times, this park is particularly high quality and is a very fun place for children and toddlers to explore. They’ve recently added a hill which kids can slide down using a cardboard box! There’s so much to do here, I can’t recommend it enough
My kids like this playground the best in the local area. It has plenty of shade, lots of sensory play options, and seems almost completely designed for children with all levels of abilities; wheelchair access, ASD, etc. The recent upgrade with the faux grass hill provides a nice slope to slide down on.Pro tip: bring some recycled card board to on on when you slide down the hill.
Owens Place is a wonderful playground. Different types of swings enable children of all abilities to play. There is an accessible merry-go-round and an amazing tree house. My own disabled daughter loves to come here very much. That it is attached to the larger Rotary Park gives us all plenty of room to run around or to picnic.
Awesome park!! Owens Place is located within Rotary Park and the whole place is fantastic! Soccer fields, 12 softball fields, shelter house located next to a playground. Owens Place specifically continues to get better as the work towards finishing the project. The tree house holds multiple benches, in shaded areas, numerous smaller houses ( which we love playing 3 little pigs and Hansel & Gretyl in) a slide, 2 rope walls, a climbing wall, a fire pole and hydraulic elevator, for lack of the correct name. Near the treehouse is an in-ground merry-go-round, baby swings, mama+baby swing(only 1), full back, harness swings and 2 large, circular swings that are capable of holding 4-5 children or adults. Plenty of shaded areas, as well a variety of seating option. Just past the play area is a small walking with 2-3 hanging swings & another large shelter house. Great park, kids have a ball and I would have definately given 5 stars IF the swing play area would have some type of overhead roof. The play equipment (aside from the tree house) was HOT🌞🌡🔥, orherwise would have given 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

2021-10-11They just keep improving. So much to do here, my kids beg to go. They most recent improvement theyve done can be seen in one of my pics, its like a sledding hill. There is a cardboard bin that you can select cardboard from to use as sleds to go down there hill and slides. Very well done and lots of fun!

2022-02-22This is a fun park in the Beavercreek area. Lots to do and many play areas for disabled children as well. Even a wheelchair baseball field! We really enjoy the fake grass hill you can slide on with boxes though, which are donated by the community members.

2019-06-03A great place for families to have a picnic or just stop to run off some energy. Kids love the tree house play area and the swings. This play ground is adapted for children with special needs. They are currently adding a bathroom closer to Owens place, but for now you have to walk or drive over to the restroom by the soccer fields. Park is clean and there is plenty of shaded areas for rest. Highly recommend this playground!

2019-07-14Great little park with picnic tables under a gazebo, a few single picnic tables with grills, and a large wooden play area, as well as several play areas catering to people with disabilities. Conveniently across the road from the soccer pitches and down the road from the softball/baseball fields, this is a great place to take the younger kids while the older ones are at practice.
