Mark Watson was very professional . Was a little late, but got the job done. Filled the holes where the mice was coming in and set up traps. I would highly recommend Orkin to anyone. Job well done.
We use Orkin as a preventative service. The service technician is always the same person. He does both the outside of our home and in certain areas inside of our home where bugs and insects could potentially occur. Orkin pre-sets appts with several days notice and a 2 hour window in which the technician will arrive. We then receive notification when the tech is approximately 10 minutes away. If, for some reason the date and time selected for us does not work, Orkin is very flexible about rescheduling. We have used Orkin for almost 2 years now and are extremely satisfied with their service.
Edit: Shortly after posting this review, I got a phone call from Orkin apologizing for the confusion, and that they were able to cancel the service immediately. Im upgrading my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars as a result.The original review follows below:While my Orkin technicians have been very friendly, and they quickly and efficiently dealt with my mouse infestation when I first called, I was signed up to what I thought was a 12 month service plan. While I was just wanting a one time treatment, I was desperate to get rid of the mice and so I agreed to it. 12 months later, I called to cancel the plan only to be told that my plan is somehow a 16 month plan and that I have to pay for my service through November instead of through August? Im literally looking at the contract and it says that I can cancel after 12 months with 30 days notice. Nowhere did it say that Im agreeing to 16 months.

We have had awesome service from Orkin! They send messages when they are on their way and when they leave, they also send reminder texts for their appointments! Always very pleasant and get the job done!
Andy was the Orkin technician. He was professional in his appearance, introducing himself, informing me what he was doing, answering my questions and giving me suggestions to help me in the future. I was very pleased with thee Orkin service.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. They came out in November and sprayed. There guarantee is only 30 days and they never came back to check In December. Came back in February and found more to spray again.. then didnt schedule till may and then did not show up. Said they didnt have us on the schedule and then said we had to pay more money. Said that she had no idea why they didnt come back in December but we could pay more to have them come back again.... why would I pay again when you didnt do it right the first tome and you dont stand by your guarantee
Technician called prior to showing up. We arranged for him to come immediately rather than scheduled time. He was personable and very helpful. Answered all my questions with patience.

Andy was quick in and out. For the most part he did good. Except.He had me sign three things with out telling me what I’m signing didn’t offer to get me copy’s. Also after being in our attic he came inside and walked up our newly carpeted stares and foyer with out taking his shoes off or putting the plastic bootys on over his shoes.
Great job havent see a wasp yet had my house done a week ago they have always pulled through for me Ive had to have a repeat once in 30 days only because we had so many at my last house i have severe allergies to bees and wasp but they get the job done Happy happy happy
Dont know of the results yet put treatment was completed. Showed at end of estimated 2 hour window. And was at my home for 4 hours setting 27 traps around the perimeter and spraying bait foam in basement. Time spent working gives me hope, though with their 5 year warranty as part of service, thay were expensive. Over 3k for my 3 bedroom home.

First, the only real negative: scheduling. I work from home on specific days and have informed the home office of this fact many times. Yet somehow the scheduled days get changed every couple months. Its irritating, especially if I dont catch the different day of the week. However, a quick phone call generally fixes things... for a while at least.Otherwise its been a good experience. The service provided does a good job of reducing the number of insects that get inside to a realistic level. Nothing will keep all bugs from getting into the house, but the results Ive been getting are satisfactory.The same tech nearly always comes out each time (I understand that each tech has territories they cover, and only go outside that territory for emergencies or to provide vacation coverage), and he is polite, respectful of my property and home, and does a very thorough job. Best of all, he loves our dog and takes great care to minimize her exposure to the chemicals he uses, plus always takes a few moments to pet her and tell her how good of a dog she is.I feel comfortable recommending Orkin based on our experiences with them.
They said it wasnt toxic for animals and it is he sprays and I asked for bait and he said no only an infestation I get charged for it but it wasnt what I asked for and I was lied to about being toxic he did say it was but the office at orkin. Said it wasnt. I had to clean up in my kitchen what he sprayed because of my dogs he wasnt supposed to spray but yet Im still stuck paying $95 nothing else was done at all, not what I requested!

I called Orkin when I moved back into my home after renting it for years and found out the last tenant had fleas. I also asked them to check for roaches and mice as well. The gentleman who takes care of my home is very kind and always suggest things for me. He explains what he is doing and explains everything. If he has to go upstairs, he always asks if there is someone up there and asks if it is ok, he goes up. Very kind and very polite.

We kept finding fleas on our dog for the last few months. We tried several different products between foggers, sprays, and powders to try to treat our apartment and nothing worked. I called Orkin and they were extremely professional and friendly from the first phone call. They were able to fit us in the same week I called. Their prices are very reasonable. They communicated with me every step of the way leading up to the day of treatment. They arrived on time and my Orkin guy was extremely friendly, professional, and kind to my dog and myself. He gave thorough instructions on what to do after he treated and said there was a 30 day guarantee if we see anymore fleas on our dog. I’m hoping the one treatment does the trick! I highly recommend Orkin and am thankful for their assistance during a stressful encounter with fleas!

The secretary Malessia scheduled my service quickly and went above and beyond sending me a detailed email with step by step instructions for service preparation. The technician Adam showed up on time with plenty of advanced notice. Orkin handled my issue quickly and with 100% effectiveness. They offered to come back 14 and 30 days post initial service for inspection and re-treatment if needed. Your money ahead by calling Orkin. My appointment was scheduled between 12pm-2pm and the agent called me at 10am, apparently to come at that time (which I ignored that call, because I was still asleep and I didnt know it was him until he told me it was him). My wife and I work exhausting jobs and theres a reason we agreed to a certain time. The agent showed up at my door at 11:30 am and when I explained to him that he was earlier than expected and he didnt give me a call to let me know he was on his way he stated; I called at 10 oclock and we close at noon and I was trying to wrap things up. Which if you close at noon; why agree to an appointment between noon and 2pm? Without apologizing for being early (and seeing that I was not happy with him coming to early) he asked so whats the problem; ants? I told him thatll I didnt like the fact hes overlooking my concern for him being early and for calling me at 10am without an apology, and that I was offended by his lack of concern and professionalism. He said okay and turned and walked away. I immediately called to complain and the young lady apologized for his behavior and scheduled someone else to come out instead. The second guy (Grant, I know that because I had to ask his name he didnt offer it and when I did ask he stated its on the bottom of the contract and then told me his name) came into my home with a very dry disposition as if I offended him because he had to come do what the first guy couldnt. I pay for a service to remove pest, not to be disrespected in my own home. My wife and I are both in our upper 50s and we only ask that we you come to OUR home show some respect and professionalism or dont come at all.

Was told by the rep on the phone that the tech would inspect the area where the problem was which they did and treated as well as around my property to make sure there weren’t any other issues. My boyfriend was outside with the tech and told me he never inspected anywhere else but the problem area. For $240 with a 30 day warranty that’s pretty pricey. I gave it a 4 star for that reason and because it was just treated today so I won’t know how well the treatment will work. Tech was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. We also learned some things regarding the problem.
I used the Orkin that serves the Fremont and Ottawa County surrounding areas and some tall bald guy came out to do the initial service he didnt introduced himself witch he neglected to do correct so 2 days later they Orkin said there sending there best employee Justin over to do the job right and this guy was great and definitely worthy of the title best employee! Thanks Justin for being so helpful, insightful and respectful. 100% going to recommend Orkin to my friends and family but I will be telling them to make sure that they tell Orkin that they dont want the Tall, bald, lazy and disrespectful guy to service their house!

The service was not as described. I paid $175 for a dude to walk through my house with a can of rodent killer and some sticky traps. The employee was very polite.
I contacted Orkin regarding the need for help with an ant problem at a house my boyfriend and I recently moved into, and they were able to get a technician to us within 48 hours! Our technician was professional and personable, explained our services in detail, did treatment the same day, and we’re already seeing the results! I really liked their pricing, it was affordable but competitive with other pest control companies in the area. Highly recommend using Orkin!

My tenant thought she had bedbugs. Ryan (the service tech) came out to the house and did a honest inspection. He was fair and honest. He didn’t find anything and gave my tenant some great suggestions on what the problem could be.
10/10Everything I look for when determining to regular any kind of business was checked off here. The Orkin man who came to my home was very professional but not overly professional where I felt stiff or like we were constantly in a business meeting. He maintained great communication with me, calling ahead of time before the scheduled appointment, and he made the whole process of flea extermination seem like a breeze with his positive energy.
For $296 I was supposed to get a full home inspection along with a treatment for carpenter ants and spiders. I was told an inspection didn’t really need to happen because he was experienced enough to know what needed to be done. I honestly felt that he was more concerned with getting my signature to contract for a year than anything. He literally stood in my kitchen talking to me about contact options than he did treat my home. Whether or not the treatment works is yet to be seen.
Kevin was professional, easy to talk too, and just all around felt comfortable with him being in my home! And with it just being my daughter and I in the home, that’s very important to me!Orkin is very lucky to have him on their team.
Our exterminator was Brandon. He did a 100% better than any other Orkin agent. I won’t use orkin unless we can have him assigned to our home. ! He also gave us alot of information that we didn’t know about our problem.
Had Orkin come out for a problem we were having with Yellowjackets. The process of getting them out here was fast and great. The guy that came and performed the service’s name was Kevin. Kevin was fantastic! He was very personable, kind and knowledgeable. In all honesty the whole experience was top notch (so far). My only complaint was that the service costed $290 for 20 minutes of time and about $50(ish) of material. I was dumbfounded when I heard the price but I can’t judge. Everything was top notch other than the bill. Thank you, Kevin.
Anthony was very professional and thorough. It has taken several weeks to finally get a date for him to apply the product. But he has kept in touch and communicated well. I am concerned that it started raining before he finished the application but he said to keep him posted if I am not satisfied with results.
We had the pleasure of dealing with Dan H I was nervous about Orkin coming into my home and treating the home. Dan came on time and explained everything and was quick and very polite and professional and made sure we knew what was going on and comfortable. I definitely will use these guys again if needed. Haven’t had any problems with termites for over 10 years, but found some damage. Ken treated my house previously and remembered it. He is extremely knowledgeable and informative. Services were done in a timely manner and clean up done nicely.
Orkin was called when carpenter ants were discovered while work on the wood siding of our home was being done. Inspection was done in a timely manner and a treatment plan proposed. After a year we chose to continue with an every-two month maintenance of our property. Our service provider Dan is efficient, prompt and friendly. No complaints.
Dan has been my technician since I moved into my new home that had a terrible ant problem. Unfortunately this is something that was covered up/hidden when doing the house tour, and there were probably thousands of ants all around the property.Hes been great and told me everything the service would entail, along with following up at the end of each appointment to let me know what he did that visit.The best part, I havent seen an ant in months!

Dan provided us with a thorough investigation and was very knowledgeable about our ant problem. Having kids and animals made us concerned about the treatment that would be used and Dan eased those worries by explaining everything that he was doing. He provided us with a friendly and great service.

They sent a guy to my 78 yr old moms house to remove mice, he tried to sell her on roaches, she doesnt even have that... put down 4 glue traps and a box outside the house, charged almost 250 and left, signed her up for a recurring charge monthly and didnt explain anything about the charge, Id recommend this company for an abandoned building, that way there is Noone for them to deceive...
The service man was very prompt and professional. He explained what he was doing in great detail and why it was necessary and shared some really helpful advice per the return visits. Overall Im very pleased with the service and look forward to continuing business with this company.
Kevin was extremely knowledgeable. Very nice and super professional! My husband left candles burning and he blew them out for us, knowing we had to evacuate for 4 hrs and didn’t want them to be left unattended. Amazing service and follow-up after initial treatment. Encountering bed bugs is a horrific experience but after Orkin started treating our house I became more and more comfortable that issue will be resolved and we were moving in the right direction. Key is though to get everything out except big furniture like they put in their instructions to prep the house before they come. Thank you again for wonderful service.
Called and made an appointment for 5/5:30pm to get rid of a very annoying carpenter ant problem. They sent somebody out the day I wanted and he was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The tech did all the work in about 45mins and gave me information on everything he did and what I should do to help and signs to look for. Glad I went with Orkin on this.
Very good experience took time to explain what he was doing as well as what the traps did and how the spider poison worked. Took extra time to figure out problem areas and made sure to keep my 2yr old son and dogs in mind as he was spraying and leaving traps. Wouldnt use another company after this great experience! We felt we needed a regular service to ensure our home remains pest free. Our technician has been quite thorough, as well as friendly, helpful, and courteous each time he’s performed the service. Our family has felt quite safe and comfortable, which is especially important during Covid. We would absolutely recommend Orkin, and particularly Anthony Missler.
Today they sealed the outside of our home since bats are in our attic.They were very professional yet we thought they would use a clear caulk and not a bright white around our windows and doors.We will now have to figure how to make it less noticeable.The caulk is the only issue we had other than that we are highly satisfied and Ryan did an amazing job for us yesterday.
We contacted Orkin in the morning for wasps behind brick wall near our door. They sent someone out that afternoon. He was informative and professional. He applied a treatment to the affected area and around our house foundation. We were told it may take up to 3 days to reach all the wasps as they come & go. No problem with the service provided.
Joe arrived on time . Explained procedure of applications and the steps involved. So happy that we called Orkin over a mom and pop shop that I thought was priced ridiculously too high and wanted us to be out of our house for 3-4 hours. This was the first time that we ever used a pest control company.
Very overpriced. I salvaged a cat house from the neighbors that moved. And after cleaning it and bringing it inside , I noticed fleas. I called Orkin and was quoted $275.So I called Terminex and was quoted$99. I am satisfied and have no more fleas.

My Orkin guy is professional, polite and is always on time. We live in the country so he comes every other month, does whatever we need and knows the routine of us shuffling the dogs around. And as promised, he’s even squeezed me in and come back out at no extra charge when needed.

I have used Orkin for over 25 years and have consistently been impressed with their professionalism and fast response if I have a problem. Having a designated person each month come to the house insures that I feel comfortable with someone in the house. For the past few years this has been Dan. I could not be happier with their service. A little confusing as the call center said they would call a half hour before they were coming, and I had to find somewhere for my dogs to go. When he showed up I was actually on the phone calling Orkin to see when they were coming and he talked to me through his window like I just needed to pay and go and he would handle everything I guess for my first time I really wasn’t sure what I needed to be doing or anything and I wish it would have been a little more clearer
I am the personal assistant to R. Bryant. She was having a wasp problem at her house. And I called Orkin around 9am. The lady on the phone was so helpful! Her kindness and patience was very remarkable. They were able to come around one. The gentleman that came was fast, polite and truly listened to me. Even though I wasnt the home owner. He explained why he was spraying were and he also explained how the product works. This whole experience was truly amazing! I know I am not the home owner, more like the help and I never felt that way! I am sorry I didnt get either of the names of the amazing people I got the pleasure of dealing with today! They came and inspected my residence. Very polite gentlemen. However it was a very brief visit and the estimate was outrageously expensive. They probably do good work but to rich for my blood.

I expected the wasp to be dead when company left but not the case. My dogs still can not roam free in my yard wasp are very aggressive had to make neighbors aware so their dogs dont get stung. Service wasnt what I expected for $256.00

Greg has always been prompt, attentive to our issues and is willing to answer all questions we may have. He inspected all the traps and feeding stations and we havent seen a mouse inside for months. Spider population is down considerably which eliminates a lot of cleaning our house siding and porch and patio and allows us to enjoy sitting out there. we havent had spider bites that mysteriously show up in the morning. I called in the morning for a nightmarish infestation of earwigs. They came out within a few hours. They sprayed and checked all the places they would hide. Greg was very nice and professional. I’m hoping the bugs will be gone very VERY soon.
I would highly recommend Orkin Pest Control to anyone who has pest problems. I had issues with earwigs invading inside my home and Dan was very knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring. They are so informative, professional and friendly. Dan is awesome, I have read reviews online stating he is one of the best and was happy to know he would be the one to help me out! He has exceeded my expectations. When I called the Orkin number initially to inquire about services, the guy on the phone was also awesome. Other companies just gave me their pricing and very brief description of what they do. Orkin was very thorough, telling me what treatment they use, more frequently out vs other companies, not the cheapest but worth the peace of mind. The guy on the phone even gave me tips and advice on what to do in the meantime before Orkin was able to come out. So worth it!
Routine service today to keep critters away. Polite, courteous, on time, service has been working well. Very few insects observed since weve started using this service. If we ever have issues in between service, response is prompt.
Non-responsive. I have asked for them to call before arriving for service as this is an income property and not my home. And they don’t. Then I get a bill. They don’t even get inside the home, they just end up spraying outside the home which is NOT the service I need or am paying for. Would not recommend.

Technician was very courteous. He explained what to look for. Even though I had called about my basement needing sprayed for spiders, he asked if there were any other areas I wanted done and it was no extra charge. I loved that payment for service can be billed monthly.
Had Justin come out to the house to treat for a wasp problem we were having. He called to give me a heads up he was on the way which i appreciated since we have two little ones so any heads up is good so i can get them something to preoccupy them so i can talk and hear the person i speak with. Justin was very knowledgable and walked around the house with me as i showed him the problem areas and places we had seen the wasp. He advised on what treatment he would be doing and how the treatment would help with other insects and pest around the home. Justin went around the whole house spraying the foundation along with applying dust to the doors windows eaves and anywhere the wasp would or could enter the garage or the porch areas. Very impressed with Justin and Orkin. This is our first time having a pest control come out to the house and I feel really good about the technicians, company and prospect of finally being rid of the wasp and being able to enjoy being outside with the kids this summer. Justin also let me know they would be out again in the following months to check on the issue and reapply treatment if necessary. Would recommend the service yo anyone with an insect or pest problem.
I had a great experience with Orkin so far. They were thorough and skilled. Justin answered all of my questions and was very professional. I only gave 4 stars because the service was completed today, so if it works and lasts I’d give it a 5! So far so good. 30 day guarenteee is also a nice benefit of the service.
We have woods behind our house, so we get all kinds of critters. When I called Orkin, I was kind of nervous. I didnt want someone to come out and judge me. The technician was so nice, and he explained everything super well, and he totally understood that the woods cause us lots of problems. I felt so much better, after he left, and he explained how this is something we can control and dont just have to live with for the rest of our lives.
Dan was incredible to work with. I felt very comfortable and that Orkin was taking care of my family.

Our current Orkin man is amazing. Super friendly, very knowledgable. And thorough with his inspection. We bought a new house and started service for ants. Every month he asks us if weve seen anything and does makes sure there is no evidence of anything we may not have seen. I would highly recommend.
Very professional, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood the answers. The only complaint I would have is that they showed up 40 minutes early which most people would be impressed about. I’m a very last minute person though so when we were given a 2 hour time frame I expected that they would be here between those two hours. However all around it was a great experience and I am satisfied.
Chaz was very helpful and informative during our inspection, answered all my questions quickly and professionally and got us an appointment right away. I wouldnt even think about going through my dilemma with any other company. I would recommend Orkin and Chaz to anyone that needs an exterminator.

The person that came out to spray was polite and knowledgeable. However, I was quoted a price over a hundred dollars less than what they charged me. When I tried to contact my rep, she has yet to call me back. Very unhappy with the sales department but the actual person that came to spray was top notch!
The gentleman that came to my house was incredibly friendly and relatable! He made sure to tell me exactly everything that he was doing outside and in, while also assuring me that the products where pet and kid safe! I feel like he went above and beyond what we called Orkin out for, incredibly impressed and we will be using them again!!!

Orkin came and treated several yellow jacket nest and carpenter bees. There was some confusion because I was told that they would come twice for one price. I was also told they would remove the nest. When it came down to it they said they could treat the nest. but not remove it. They were very nice and treated the nest and the bees. I was told I had a 30 day guarantee and they would come out if I saw more before That 30 days was up. I was very pleased except for the confusion about the removal of the Nest.

5/1/20 we had red wing ants invade my home. We called the orkin hotline and they had a technician (Dan) out to my house 1st thing next morning he was very professional, knowledgeable, polite, etc he was awesome. Since we started using Orkin to control the few ants that encroached upon our home, there have been no more ants anywhere in the house. Great service with prior notice before treatments. Friendly staff. Will use them again next year for sure. Saves us from having to lay out ant traps everywhere.

My exterminator that came to the house is the same exterminator we get each and every time, and he is the best .He noticed that we do not walk around in the house with our shoes on and he took that into consideration and took off his shoes at the door.He is very nice,kind,knowledgeable,respectful,always on time, And he practice safe guard wore his mask and social distance. He sprayed every room of the house, the basement, and the garage . My exterminator is what you call a true professional.

Iv never used this company before last week..we have ground hornets and wasps and my mother is highly allergic to all bees so I had called orkin and the lady on the phone had explained that the person coming out would spray the yard and house. The person would take care of the wasp nest if he could see them. I agreed the gentleman came out did not wear masks, did not explain what he was doing, only sprayed a few areas in front of my house where the WASP were,knocked the bee hives on to the ground and left them,walked in the house sprayed some chemicals around didnt tell me if they were okay to be around my animals, children or us didnt do the basement at all and when I asked if he was going to spray my yard he said that wasnt his job that is for a lawn treatment service to come out and do. Im very upset.
We really havent noticed a problem since Orkin started doing their service. I would highly recommend them. Gregg is a real stand up kind of guy. Im happy with their service.

Wanted a quote for a bat removal from my attic; simple enough, right? Ended up getting a quote for $13,000 dollars for sanitation, insulation, etcetera. The payment plan they offered me would have costed over 20k after five years because of the 21 percent interest rate quoted. Then, the representative tried the fear mongering sales tactic by saying there is probably more bats up there, the premise is susceptible to more rodents and their services could continue in the future to monitor the horrible problem I have on my hands. I feel bad for the sales rep who was no doubt just following his manager’s orders on how to present the sales package to me. His whole demeanor illustrated a picture of someone who was completely uncomfortable spewing the BS that was about to leave his lips. 0.5 stars because at least Chaz was polite, well kept and professional.PS. They were 30 minutes late 😕

I have been a customer for months now and I wish I would have taken my business elsewhere. They have continuously not showed up when stated or scheduled they would. They still have yet to fix the original problem or anything else that has come up since that was also part of what Im paying for. I am very disappointed in the service given. The only good thing is 1 pit or 3 or 4 people that have been out to do the service had great customer service and actually wanted to fix the problem. (Which is why upsetting because even a manager has been out and didnt follow up of what he said would be done.)
Originally, I was told they would be here between noon and two. By 230, no one had arrived but I quickly received a call that the original serviceman had called off sick and a new one would be here at four. The gentleman who arrived at four on the dot was friendly, polite, honest, and engaging.

Orkin was timely after I requested their exclusion service. They seemed to know what they were doing, sealing points of entry that mice or chipmunks could get in. They were also professional and friendly. Hopefully this works!
Kevin gave me great ideas of how to keep my knat problem down. He was very helpful in explaining a few simple things that I could do.I loved the idea that I didn’t have to move stuff around or vacate the home find some place to put my cat for hours. As a matter fact my cats enjoyed watching Kevin walked around spraying things.

We had someone come out two days ago to help us get rid of carpenter ants. I believe the product itself is effective but we were very disappointed in lack of precautions taken during this pandemic. The gentleman came over, didn’t ask if anyone was sick, did not have a mask on, did not wear gloves, did not put on shoe covers, and did not take off his shoes. He walked right into our home without a care. We have a small child who is crawling/walking and we did not appreciate that.
I feel like they didn’t do anything I’ve already done. Laid a few paper traps, and stated we’ve probably caught them all ourselves? Meaning he assumed they were coming from a hole we patched ourselves in the kitchen. The tech only looked at the kitchen until I questioned about another part of the house, then stated the mice forsure came from the back portion of the house. Without me saying anything he wouldn’t of inspected anywhere else in the house. If I’m paying for an inspection I expect the whole house to be looked at. Then recommend I upgrade to the $500 sanitation service because I am so worried and that the monthly service is only putting a “band aid” on the situation... that coming from the manager.
I absolutely love my Orkin Guy. He never acts like Im putting him out, and is always very thorough. Rather its bees, snakes, or mice.. he always gets the job taken care of.
Did not show after leaving a message; received report and bill, but service not provided. Called 2x getting recording and did not get called back in a timely manner. Service good in MI, but bad in NC.

My 80+ mom had her home sprayed for fleas almost a month ago. I took off work and was there to help get her 2 cats out of the house, etc The guy was very nice and all and told me everyone had to be out of the house because he goes in and starts killing fleas as he walks in the door and he would lock the house when he left, assuming we would leave. My step dad stayed to lock up house and after the guy came out a few minutes later having used only a very small amount of product from his sprayer my step dad confronted him about that he stated he dampened all the floors etc. He then stated that that the spray sterilized the fleas and that they should vacuum daily to actually remove the fleas. That statement about the way the chemical worked was contrary to every other statement made by them. After vacuuming almost daily for almost a month, and treating the outside of home ourselves they still have fleas inside. The ones outside are gone from the chemicals we used.... non orkin. They said originally they would check in with mom after 15 days but not a peep from them. She will not contact them because she doesnt want to bother with them as she does not want them to spray again as it didnt work the first time. Way to take advantage of the elderly!
I called Orkin to help take out a ground bee hivethat attacked me yesterday. They were there early the next morning and quickly eliminated the problem.I am much relieved as I found out that I am allergic tobees and I have two dogs who spent a lot of time in my yard. Orkin came 1 and a half hours early. Did not call 30 minutes before and then did not spray where the problem was. Since the correct people was not here to talk to him. When I called orkin . It did not seem like the guy really cared. They are going to come early in morning Saturday because that is only time they are in this area. I have elderly people living with me that are on dialysis and sores not healing from diabetes etc etc and now they will have to be woken ups early so the guy can spray.....I am so tired of people not doing there job correctly. Thats all I have to say.

I paid $99 for a inspection for bed bugs because mybqife found one the day before. The service tech only went into one room shined a light, moved some bedding and that was it. He did not check the other 3 bedrooms or wall outlets as they stated in the agreement. So basically I paid $99 to confirm a dead bug in a bag. What a scam

2022-07-18I called the service center to get a quote to take care of carpenter ants. They delivered a reasonable quote then I planned to call back to schedule. After I hung up I got a call from our local Orkin branch with a better offer and due to the deal ($300 less than original over all), I scheduled immediately. Andy from Orkin came on time, maybe even a little early which was great. He was super knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and did a thorough job.

2022-05-19The customer service at this location is absolutely awful . I was promised a service when I agreed to go with Orkin however , customer service at the Toledo location acts like it’s an inconvenience to do their job . I also can over hear them talking badly about customers as I’m on the phone with another representative. Not professional . I was not home when the tech came so I can’t speak for him however, the issue we called the exterminator for isn’t quite being resolved yet . Going to give it some more time . The tech seems knowledgeable based on what he has shared in the report ……Update : corporate was very nice in addressing my concerns and Anthony our tech was more than willing to come out and figure out another solution to our problem . Thank you 😊

2022-05-16The person who does our home service is polite, respectful and cautious of my kids and pets. Very friendly and very professional. I am very sad that he is moving away but I am confident that whoever takes his place will be just as cool because past services with other employees have been good as well. The only thing I would like to see is the cost of exclusion go down, I don’t think I have many openings for mice but I can’t spend the amount quoted to me on this . It’s frustrating for me as the home occupant to deal with mice in the first place .

2022-06-22I am tired of having to call to have to have a treatment done in between scheduled appointments because the ants are still appearing. I understand that the treatment draws out the ants to the poison to take back to their nest but at one of our treated homes weve had this issue for over a year. For whatever reason Im no longer receiving texts or emails from Orkin regarding upcoming treatments so I can notify our tenants but Im sure receiving them for the service reports and opinion surveys. I just had to have a termite inspection done and decided to get quotes for prices and treatment plans. Orkin is 2-3 times higher than the other well known companies with the same treatment plan! Between the price and lack of communication I will be making calls to get quotes from other pest control companies to continue our ant extermination needs.

2022-05-04Services provided today was done by Chris. My issue were with bee hives attached in different places of the exterior of my 2-story home. I have not been able to enjoy the pleasure of simply sitting on my front porch for several years because of the growing infestation. Chris in his professional experience was able to find the problem areas especially the hidden hive under the front porch where heavy traffic occurs. He removed the hives and sprayed my property. Thank you Chris for a job well done.

2022-07-12They were to get rid of my bumblebee, hornet and wasp problems. I thought they would look around and check things out, with some special equipment. Paid $299 for them to sprinkle some dust and spray some liquid around the perimeter of my home, and I still have yellow jacket under my side after the “treatment”. I understand I have 30 days after the initial treatment, but I just don’t have the time for Orkin to come over every few days.

2022-06-14This was the worst experience! I was told on the phone when I scheduled a service that they would do an inside and full outside inspection and remove any cobwebs they see. That they were coming out to take care of an ant issue as well as a spider issue. When the technician arrived he put a couple globs of gel above my sink and on one of my living room coffee tables. He said the only thing to handle my spider issue was my shoe. Yes, he said My shoe!!! I asked him about the inspection I asked him about spraying for the spiders and removing cobwebs and he said that the sales person I spoke with told me lies. They charged me $240 for a couple globs of gel and a couple squirts of some sort of spray that he sprayed in the doorway of my front door. Very very very disappointed and I feel like I was taken advantage of. When I called the office to find out why the service was different than what I was told on the phone and the lady told me the same thing. That’s the sales people lied to me.
