My wife and I lived at The Orchard for two years prior to buying our house and, while its pricey, it was absolutely worth it. The amenities (including the clubhouse that can be reserved for private events), location and maintenance service were all excellent. Maintenance in particular responded quickly and effectively to the routine - a couple of leaks and HVAC issues - and extreme, the damage from remnants of a hurricane making its way to Ohio in 2009.Management was pleasant and fair in all our dealings. When people ask my wife and I where to find an apartment in the Dublin area, we happily refer them here if it is within their price range.

My family and I lived at The Orchard for a little over a year. The day we moved in, the keycards for the gate were not working and we felt as though the staff were too busy hosting a pool party than helping us. On another occasion we had a very bad experience with one of the staff members, as she told my mother and I that we could not be in the pool without “proper” swimming wear. There was little cultural sensitivity and it was only after we complained to the property manager that something was done about it. After paying a hefty fee to get out of our contract, The Orchard then charged us a ridiculous cleaning fee stating that there was residual cooking smell. If you cook daily, their ventilation system is not adequate to remove the smell and they will slap you with this charge. We spoke to the property manager and requested to speak with someone from corporate, however, no one was willing to waive the fee and instead sent us literature on a court case involving “cooking odors and national origin”, which I find to be very offensive and discriminatory.

Well, I lived here for 2 years and my wife and I had mixed experiences. When we first moved in, everything seemed to be OK, but soon after many maintenance issues popped up and the major annoyance we had was the bad reaction from the previous management and maintenance team. I had to constantly called them and request them to get things fixed. Thankfully, and this is the reason why I now give the Orchard a 5-star review, their new management team, led by Julie, have been doing a GREAT job. Problems will always occur when you live in a community but the most important thing is how well and effective their maintenance team and management take care of their tenants. Overall, its well located place, pretty layouts, clean surrounding, nice pool and a very convenient club house with pool table, movie theater, gym and business room. Highly recommended. Reason why were leaving is because we just bought a new home. I hope this review would be helpful. Thanks

I cannot say enough good things about this community or staff. Ive lived in the Columbus area for eight years, and have lived in four different complexes; there is no comparison to The Orchard at Wilcox. The office staff is friendly and competent. If you are honest and courteous with them, they will work with you as much as possible. The maintenance staff was always swift, effective and friendly. The only reason we ultimately left was to purchase our first home. While they are on the pricier side, it is definitely a get-what-you-pay-for place. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone in the Dublin area.

Fire Laurie Pomerants! She is the most entitled, disrespectful, unprofessional person I have ever met and she is a serious hindrance to your company. FIRE LAURIE NOW! She emailed me literally 30 minutes before our scheduled interview saying she wanted to re-schedule (which I understand, things come up - but if I had not by happenstance checked my email, I wouldnt have known - she should have called). Then, she was unsympathetic with the fact that I too work in the industry, which meant that our schedules were pretty much the same - it wasnt easy for me to always get away from work and she wasnt willing to meet me at an Edwards property that was closer to where I worked. I told her that I would call her back once I checked with my current employer. I called her back a day later (on her personal cell) and left a voicemail - no response. The following week, I sent an email. No response. Waited a few more days and even reached out to this girl that I know who works for them and she said she would talk to Laurie about following up with me. Again, no response. Like if youre not interested in hiring me or if the position has been filled, let me know. But dont set up an interview, cancel with such short notice, and then, when I try to reschedule, you dont reply. Shes a drain on the Edwards brand and Im amazed she has a job when Edwards is such a small company that Im sure the property managers could hire their own people. Disgusting. FIRE HER NOW!

I lived at the Orchard for two years and upon moving out I left the apartment in excellent condition. The management told me that I would receive $580 of my security deposit back and when I received my check it was only $315. They charged me for replacing the carpet, which was left in great condition. I was blatantly lied to and was taken advantage of by the Orchard.

Poor ventilation. If you cook regularly, the ventilation is not good enough to get rid of the smell. Yet, when we left the place they charged us a hefty amount to clean the smell. One of the staff was also very rude to my mom. My mother is a practicing Mulsim. Hence, she cannot wear swim suit. The staff said my mom cannot swim and removed her from the pool. The management did later remove the staff from the office, but it was still a very bad experience.

This place is worth every penny that you will pay as rent! Its a quite, clean, safe and a very friendly place (staff-wise) to live at. They have several ponds within where you can fish at your ease without worrying to obtain a fishing permit. It has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor 24 hour fitness room, a computer room with wi-fi, a movie theater that you can reserve at no cost! In short, it is by all means a win-win deal. The ONLY drawback is it falls under Columbus schools district and NOT Dublin.

Horrible experience. Not worth the money I spent. Also surprise charges on checkout. High turnover of the front desk staff. That should also tell you something
