Ollies Bargain Outlet in other cities:
One of The cashiers there was just so rude she snatched the money out of my girlfriends hand the other day when I was there she was just rude as hell to me and her in the way she talked she was rude to the person that called on the phone so when she gave me my money back I snatched the receipt and stuff out shes lucky thats all I did but anyways its like she didnt have time for us or something I dont know what her problem was not to mention the prices they were crazy anymore they barely had anything that place is just going downhill Im the past few yearsWont be going back there to that one shopping again and I used to love going the ollies.
Been a regular customer at Ollies for quite some time. The last time I visited- I was able to find a lot of books that I never thought I would see there but also the copies were brand new and featured for a good discount price. They also have carpeting and area rugs- a kitchen section with various type of tools and appliances- a small clothing section and other items at a good price. Its worth paying a visit just to browse and to see what they have.
This store has awesome items! Found things for way less than I wouldve paid in Walmart. Wasnt really shopping but ended up spending about $200 there!! Household items, school supplies, cookware amongst other things. They should open a store in the greater Cleveland area.
This is such a fun place to browse for the things you need at home for a fraction of what youd pay elsewhereSometimes its hit or miss, but you can find anything from car cleaning supplies to kids books. I picked up great shelving for my basement dirt cheap the last time I went. This is not the place for people that are expecting Nordstrom.
This store was junky over priced and under stocked. I do love the book section that was very well stocked. They have a nice variety of cook books bibles children learning books ect.... I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a job I urge you to apply they really ned assistance with maintaining the store in Parma.
Its a deep discount store full of amazing treasures. We sweep through them all year long for toys for tots and our Christmas gifts for our kids. They sell out of things because its a close out store that buys extras from other stores going out of business, so when you find a good deal, you gotta jump on it.Im giving 4 stars because the staff is always cycling through, so some arent always friendly and because we always have to schedule an extra couple hours to remove the worlds stickiest orange tags. 🤣Its truly a fun store to go explore because it always changes.
Ollies on Broadview Rd location:Youre a business serving the public, clean up your store. It looks like a dump. Dont make excuses. If you cant then close this location down. Everything is in disarray...floors, bathrooms, shelves are dirty and disorganized. Its more like one big rummage sale...
I like Ollies for the variety of items. However, the employees are not always helpful and the store is sometimes in disarray. The last time I went they were stocking shelves and many of the aisles were blocked. No one was in a big hurry to move either. I will still shop there once in awhile but it is not my go to store.
A lot of great deals in store, but please give yourself time to look around. Ollies even had a shopping perks card, when you accumulate enough points your rewarded with $ off. They also send % off coupons via USPS & app for major holidays. I always purchase my k-cups there @ an awesome discount. Looking for a carpet, they have them... Smaller appliances, food, office supplies & clothing, yep they have them too. You never know what youll find in store, surprises lurk around every corner!
Store selection are close out items (which is great when looking for discounted obscure items).Pay attention to expiration dates when purchasing items.Isles (a majority) where blocked with cardboard, upright empty pallets leaning against displays (major fire hazzard & safety hazzard). Some items you can expect to pay the same price at other non- discount stores. Its an okay shopping venture if you have time and dont mind finding a needle in the haystack type deal.Check out lines are long, however one positive thing is the sales associates are very nice and willing to help you out.
Yall. YALL. Ollies tells you what you need even if you dont know why.For seasonal supplies like pool shock treatment or Christmas lights or random small household appliances, Ollies wont be your only stop but its a good one. I suggest Ollies, then Marcs for closeouts. They have great inexpensive coloring and activity books for kids!Clothing is more hit or miss. But lets face it-that is true everywhere.I periodically go back to see what they have and almost never walk out empty handed.Again, its hit or miss and its not a one stop shop. Go when you have the brain power to sort through stuff. Otherwise youll be overwhelmed.
Their prices are hit and miss. If you are truly looking for the best price you will want to Google a product while there before purchasing. For example I was looking at the Crock-Pot brand of trio serving unit and it was $34.99 at Ollies and $10 cheaper at Wal-Mart. In case you are wondering, yes it was the EXACT same product, same model number on the box. A while ago I was looking at the generic crescent wrench and it was way more expensive than Marcs or Harbor Freight. But to be fair I have come across good deals too.
Like many general merchandise and close out retail stores, the dearth of Chinese manufacturing has left them shelves pretty bare and selections in food, clothing, electronics and appliances very wanting. Remaindered books area was almost completely empty. I found nothing to buy.
A lot of great products at even greater prices. Love their vast collection of books, and available categories. Have found good deals at this store number of times. 4 instead of 5 starts only because store was a bit difficult to navigate. Some shelves were unorganized, and unstocked items laying around. However, did see some staff working on those. Not very big selection when it comes to some sports, like baseball, and gym equipment, but thats expected. Overall, highly recommended. Thanks.
I really enjoyed this place because well I spend a lot of money there when Im not supposed to LOL is that says something that means that they have a lot of great stuff for a really low price is hard to not buy it so you wind up spending cash that you probably shouldnt have a bunch of really cool stuff that you got a great deal on so all-in-all Ill give this place a 10 out of 10
I go to this Ollies fairly regularly and while they do have deep discounts on items like coffee pods, books, bedding, rugs and kitchenware. The store can be somewhat difficult to navigate as much as I enjoy a good treasure hunt it would add value if they added signs to the end caps describing what you might find in a particular area. The walk path is as follows the books are immediately on your left followed by stationary and health and beauty products then carpet care and then rows of hanging rugs and a room with more rugs in the back left. The back of the store going from middle back left to right is auto care and home improvement (near the restrooms) to kitchenware and appliances. The back right moving forward to the front right is bedding and home goods and bathroom stationary to window treatments and furniture to seasonal clothing in the front The back middle of the store is limited selection of grocery products and candy to pet care and laundry and household cleaning needs the front middle being seasonal display products and presents and toys of that nature to directly in front center is the cash registers for checkout. I hope this helps some of you out. :)
I love shopping at this store because they always have a wide variety of items to select from. The staff is always friendly and even though the store is not too organized, staff members are quick to assist you with locating a product or item you are in search of. The lines move very quick and they allow consumers to utilize credit cards for their purchases. They are even willing to custom order items that they may not have in stock presently.
As everyone mainly knows, Ollies is an bargain outlet store. You never know what your going to find. We were looking at bathroom rugs and found one tonight we liked alot. Our cashier was absolutely wonderful at the second register. Take your time when shopping there. You never know where the hidden gems are.
Havent been here in awhile. The store looked like a tornado hit it. What a mess. There was not one department that didnt have stuff on the floor. Employees were just walking over things instead of picking them up. Couldnt even get to the carpet that I came to buy. Wont be back. Waste of my time. Not to mention broadview road which is a nightmare to drive down.
Years ago you would find so many odd and unexpected and unique items. Anymore it seems as if there is outdated items and junk, with higher prices versus 5 years ago. I still go here time to time around the holidays for decorations, but not much items for Halloween this year. Lots of outdated costumes. The staff ise to be so friendly and todays visit seemed as if we were burdening the staff. I still give it 3 out of 5 stars in Hopes it goes back to what it was 5 years ago.
Because this is an old outlet store, it is sorely in need of a modern update, and the merchandise is never completely the same. So if youre looking for a particular brand or even a particular item, its hit or miss. Sometimes youll find what you want, and other times they dont have it. So its a smart idea to first check out their weekly ad-- either the paper mailer or online. And if you sign up for their Ollies Army emails, youll get the weekly specials by email, and also members only sale invites a few times a year, usually for 15% off everything in the store. Even without sales or specials, Ollies regular prices are very low. But occasionally youll find the same or better prices for some items at Dollar Tree or Aldi or a big box hardware store, for example. If you have an Ohio Direction ebt card, be aware that Ollies does not accept it, but they do take the usual debit and credit cards.
People are great, selection is nice, and lines are short. Recommend to use the Wal-Mart app to check all prices before buying as you can scan the bar code. Some items are overpriced, always check the date on food and stay clear of the discount kitchen items such as blenders, pots and pants. 3 times Ive bought these items and they havent worked and or the coating peeled off after cooking.
My mom has everything. Its hard to shop for her. One day when I wanted to do something special for her, I simply took her to this Ollies location and let her shop for about an hour. There was so much to see because they offer lots of items. She really had a ball. She had never even heard of Ollies before!!
This is a fun place to shop - you just dont know what youll find, so plan on allowing extra time for wandering. I do get the flyers and will usually just go there when I see a special price on something I need. Ive found great buys on furniture covers, curtain rods, and even unusual snacks. Some of the great deals are only there until the stock runs out, so its better to go sooner rather than later. The atmosphere is definitely bargain basement and shelves can sometimes be in need of reorganization, but all-in-all its fun to be part of Ollies Army (a members card program where you can earn points toward future discounts, and get bonus discounts in the mail).
Good deals! Great store! Helpful staff! Some rude and inconsiderate customers but the establishment cant chose their customers. Be careful with letting children roam free consequence can be dangerous. The stock is not like ordinary retail store.. Think warehouse/clutter, always changing. Not structured/secure. Have fun! Be safe!!
Selection of products are generally buyouts or refurbished. Ive not had any issues with refurbished products. Staff is friendly and helpful. Joining Ollies Army does have advantages. You receive notifications for upcoming sales. And a point system, not sure yet as to what that is exactly as yet. As with most bargain buyouts stores, there is No lay away available.
Messy and chaotic but thats the nature of a second store. When Toys R Us closed down I found some good deals on toys around Christmas. Today I stopped up there for a few area rugs and got a pretty good deal on decent quality. If you can put up with the messy and at times unorganized nature of Ollies then take a visit if you havent already. You might find exactly what youre looking for at a good price.
Always a huge selection of various items from baby to books to household to outdoors. Items you see at other stores for a much higher price. I would stop here first. You never know what great deal you will find. They also have those as seen on tv items! Employees are friendly as well. Keep in mind there is alot of stuff in there, some aisles are difficult to navigate a cart through.
When Ollies first came to our area I thought it was pretty great... like Marcs closeouts and Big Lots had a baby! We dont have an Ollies close to us, so I dont visit often & it had been about a year since our last trip. Well, a lot can happen in a year! This place was so dirty and disorganized I felt gross when I left! The prices arent that good for the poor quality merchandise that we saw either. Everything looked old and kinda used. Im not sure if it was just this store or if we caught them at a bad time (understaffed or whatnot) so by giving Ollies 3 stars, Im giving them the benefit of the doubt. Like I said before, I used to really like it here so Ill wait to give them 1 star to see if they clean up their act!
The only thing I didnt like about Ollies discount store if we walk in they have all the discount sale items thats ninety 90% or 50% off right there at the door people was just blocking that area so you cant walk by they need to take that and put sit in front of the first doors were they have to the bug spray the stuff for your yard not right there when you come in a second doors cuz I know people going to see what you know but they blocking up the aisle way what makes a move that in front of the double doors before you come in
The store is cluttered. Too many items displayed items falling onto floor and I had a hard time trying to push my cart down an aisle. I really didnt find anything that appealed to me. I walked in empty handed and walked out the same way. Others may enjoy the store it depends on what a person is looking for.
Ollies is a bargain basement store ... they get deals and pass the savings onto us. Sometimes the store can be chaotic or cluttered, but its cause of the awesome buyouts they find. Parking is ample, and the cashiers/staff are always nice. Get an Ollies card and you get exclusive members only deals throughout the year for even bigger savings. I like to stock up on household goods, which are always priced amazing.
Great Deals, Great Prices, Great Staff, Always Have Something I Need Whether Its For A Project, Household Needs Or Just Something Odd And/Or Cool In General. I Visit At Least 4 Or 5 Times A Month. There Is Always Something New Or A Great Bargain Found In Either Location, Parma Or North Olmsted.
The store is filthy and all over the place. The aisles are so tiny you cant even push your cart through it! Items are all over the floor and the employees dont even care. The floor is covered with dust and other nasty filth. Costumer service is not very good either. The employees at check-out arent very kind. No greetings, just put your stuff on the counter, scan them, bag them, pay, and go. Not a word spoken. When they do say something, it will probably be something rude or not kind. If I could, I would rate this place 0 stars.
Ollies is great! You never know what gems you might find. Sure you need to do a little digging but treasures are around. I found olive oil that on Amazon was over 17 a bottle for 3 bucks. Can not go wrong at Ollies. For some reason once I was even inspired to buy an Ollies bobblehead which is now on my shelf.
Thw prices are ik..I dont like this particular one ..evendors though its the only one I have been to so far..it is really conjested in the store ..hard to move around with your cart or even a stroller for that matter..I havent been to other Ollie so I cant say if this is the general set up at all of them or just this one..It almost feels like walking into a flea market.
Every isle was blocked at some point, products and pallets were everywhere. I have 4 children ages 5-10 that stayed along side me, but it was impossible to maneuver freely throughout the store. Eventually Id had enough, didnt see all the areas Id planned to make purchases from and we left. Zig zagging all around and having to back out of isles so others could pass through wasnt just annoying, it also felt unsafe.
The cashier and other store employee located prices for two bibles thst were out if their jackets. It took a little while. I am happy with being able to purchase the bible with illustrations and a dictionary/concordence book as well. Thanking the employees at Ollies Bargain Outlet store on Broadview Road in Parma, OH for their excellent customer service!😇😘😇
When I first walked in the store it smelled of dead rodents. The cashier claimed it was fertilizer - Im over 55 years of age, this is something new to me. If I was the store Manager, there would have to be a discussion with the District. Not a good smell when your patrons are entering your store getting carts to shop. A total turn off!!

2022-05-21Called to see if they had a particular item in stock. Person who answered the phone said they did. I asked how many of this item they had and the response was Plenty! And I dont have the time to leave the register to check how many, but we have a lot! I asked about the item again because we had a half hour ride to get out there and got another terse, rude response. Took them at their word that they had a lot and drove the half hour out to find that they didnt have a single one of the item I had asked about. The cashier didnt want to listen to my description of the item, which was very specific as to size, color, and material, and kept cutting me off repeatedly. Very frustrating to be told that plenty were in stock only to make the drive and not find even one. BTW, this was something we purchase yearly at Ollies, and have purchased for the last 5 or 6 years. The Ollies closest to us just happened to be out of this item.

2022-07-12This location was okay, it was the first time at this location. But it wasnt what Im used to at other Locations. They didnt have much, compared to the other ones. I can usually find lots of good things I need and more, but it was a bust at this location. The checkout line was extremely long , only one register open. If I would have found what I needed, it never would have been worth the wait in line. Not sure if thats normal for this location, or it was just an off day.

2021-05-28Ollies is your basic closeout store. Dont get fooled by the owners pics, the place is a total mess, very unorganized and no help. Lines at the registers, cashiers constantly looking up prices. Very low stock levels on sale item, or totally out. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Masks still needed.

2022-07-04Reminds me of a massive Marcs closeouts. Rather interesting place to shop, but had an overall good experience. Workers were polite!

2022-04-16Honestly not the best or the worse. Stuff is cheap in price but the quality drops too. I got a mop there only to have it break after one use. The people are nice there, but rhe product is well cheap in both senses both in price and quality.

2022-04-29Ollies is a great place to pick up bargains every year I get my fertilizer there its cheaper then the other stores. When my daughter was heading off to college we were able to pick up most of what she needed and didnt break the bank doing it.

2022-06-30I found a few things I could use, at prices I considered reasonable, particularly with this weeks 15% discount.
