Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Well, Ive had olive garden 2x times in my life and the comparison from my first experience to this one was horrific. Massive piles of noodles with little to no sauce. Didnt give me all the food I ordered. To make the matter worse hard bread sticks 😮💨 99% of the people I know go to olive garden for the bread sticks. Terrible experience wont be back atleast to this olive garden.
We’ve had many good experiences here. We went on a Saturday and used the online wait list. The wait was originally an hour and ten minutes, but with the online list our wait was 30 minutes. They were very busy and unfortunately the service we received was slow. My boyfriend ordered chicken alfredo and when we received our plates there was no chicken. I had the chicken and shrimp carbonara, which was really good. The building has recently been updated. Overall I would go back, but avoid their busy hours.
Terrible serivce. Did online order to be ready at 11:30. Daughter waits 7 mintues on hold waiting for someone in the online area to bring food out. She has to go in and waits another 10 minutes in there. Servers not helping. No apologies for the wait nothing. Food is cold because its been sitting there to be picked up. If they are short staffed then they need to turn off their curbside pick up.
It was the first time for my mom and I for her birthday. It was an excellent experience for both of us. I happen to mention the reason we were there and our server surprised us with a nicely layered chocolate cake at the end of our meal. Very professional courteous and made everything so convenient all the way up to paying the bill. Definitely will be back. She was really over the moon.
Drove about 30mins over here tonight for a late dinner, we arrived at 9:10pm, posted hours say open until 10pm and we could see people eating inside but the doors were locked, called and the employee who answered said they were closing, when I pressed saying that their hours said 10pm the employee said well were closing now, I said well ok then and the employee hung up.Extremely disappointed. My biggest pet peave is when employee decide to close down the establishment early!
Arrived in Lima OH from out of town. Was seated promptly for lunch. Drink order arrived, Brad took the lunch order and delivered our meals quickly. When he came back to check on us, my salmon was cooked well done to my specification, but my brother didnt enjoy his seafood Alfredo. You could tell that the waiter felt bad. Soon, the manager arrived and offered to make it right. She prepared another meal! Now thats service!!!!
Stopped here to have dinner on our way home from Florida to Michigan. Been on the road all day. Walked in no one greeted us. Just asked how many, grabbed menus, walked past us so we followed sat the menus down and walked away. Very rude young blonde ponytail girl. Our waitress Riley was sweet. So many young kids that work there but sitting around on there phones, flirting with each-other and talking about things I as a guest trying to relax and have dinner does not want to hear about and any convo should be kept to there self while working. As workers walk past and you look up at them we just got a look and they kept going. I acknowledge people I make eye contact with even if it’s just a smile. This whole restaurant needs to learn what customer service means. They lack manners even the management. Will not return if I happen to pass through again which I will.
I love the Olive Garden, love the food. But next time we choose to go there, I sure hope we do not get the same waitress we had yesterday. She was rude and tried to make us feel guilty for having a long lunch. We have chosen to meet many places, my friends and I through several years and have eaten at restaurants that are far less expensive and some that are very comparable to the Olive Garden in price. Never before have we ever been made to feel like we were not welcome to sit and talk after eating. Guess we will try Olive Garden again and if we get the same kind of attitude, we will have to give up choosing the Olive Garden as our place to enjoy good food AND CONVERSATION to catch up with friends. This was so unexpected. Food was great...but waitress left so much to be desired...not even friendly (and a while back we had a waiter that I had to comment that one could tell he LOVES HIS JOB, not so much with this waitress we had yesterday!). I think she hates her job. Just a very disappointing experience to which I had so looked forward to.
My partner and I went here for lunch on a weekday with a somewhat tight schedule and enjoyed a great meal with very quick service. Our server Autumn went above and beyond to make our time in the restaurant enjoyable. I have never had a server so kind and attentive, she made our experience great!
Had a wonderful dinner this evening. The kitchen was backed up due to it being Fathers Day, our waitress was very friendly and we understood the situation. The manager came and apologized and offered complimentary desserts. We were very appreciative of this gesture!!!! Lima Olive Garden rocked today!!!
I get it, it is olive garden. Food was super bland, wrong appetizers delivered, waitress tried to hustle us out of a fifty dollar gift card and there are sharps containers in the bathrooms. Dont ever go there. Manager fixed the bill issue, he was great but overall absolutely terrible.
The salad was soggy and the recipe for the soup was off. I ordered the unlimited soup and salad but I guess you are cut off after one bowl. The first bowl of soup was like water and I only took a few bites. I was willing to try another one but the waitress took the bowl and walked away and never come back. My brother was not done with his dinner and she took his plate and walked away. She didnt ask him if he was done with it or if he wanted a box. So I guess she decided he was done. They also forgot my other brothers meatballs. I had to get up and find her to pay my bill.Basically I paid 9.99 for three bites of soup and 2 fork fulls of salad ( I dont eat the bread)Food scored a 1The waitress scored a 2
Waitress came to the table twice, once to take our order and once to say how busy she was with customers who came in after us to hand us our check. I had the Ziti which arrived lukewarm and congealed looking cheese and dry as could be. Breadsticks were hard and we asked for fresh, never received, asked for refills, never received. Also smelled like a dirty moldy dishrag where they sat us. Nasty.
Food was great. Everything was good. Until the waitress told us to put the olive garden bag in the microwave to make them taste fresh. But plot twist, there metal in the lining of the bag. When I say there were flames and heart attacks I mean big flames in the microwave and my heart. Moral of the story. Stop telling customers to put the breadstick bag in the microwave to make them crispy. My whole dorm almost cause fire and had alarm going off. Thanks for your time. But highly recommend going here very good just didnt appreciate the fire or heart attack.
Our meal was delicious. I placed the order over the internet. I had a special request. When I arrived to pick up the order, the employee had informed me that the special note was overlooked, but the food was remade. How awesome is that!!?? Customer service there is second to none!
Great experience. I drove my wife and 4-year old daughter 40 minutes to the Olive Garden in Lima from Celina to use a gift card we received as a wedding gift. We tried to call ahead and make a reservation but they said it was a first come, first serve, basis and we were not informed about their website to make a reservation. When we got there we walked inside and they said it would be about an hour wait. After explaining to the hostess our situation, she kindly asked her supervisor about making an exception since we clearly werent aware of the online reservations. They quickly got us seated within minutes. It was fascinating to see how they practiced social distancing, seating and spacing out guests. The service was spectacular and I would go again if ever given the opportunity. Thank you all for a pleasant evening!
The food was amazing, it was high quality Italian food. The servers were knowledgeable and very helpful about both the items on the menu and the changes due to the pandemic. The ordering tablet at the table saved both time and unnecessary contact with people. Drinks and entrees still were order in person which helped eliminate any confusion.
This is the best Olive Garden in the area. I am very happy with the crew and management. The menu has been limited to COVID, but the quality is still top notch compared to many other places I have ate at recently. The carry out and to-go team know what they are doing and are very considerate of those that have placed orders ahead of time. I think you should give this place a call for a quick lunch or a night out with your loved ones. At Olive Garden, we are all definitely family.
Food was good and facility was clean, but our service was a little spotty. Did not get any drink refills and only saw our waitress when it was time to leave. Not to mention our order was wrong. Typically this Olive Garden is on point, but it has been awhile since our last visit.
My fiance and I just loved your restaurant it was very delicious. We had a great waitress she was very nice did a great job. The food was excellent. It was our very first time at olive garden and it was the choice we made going there. 5 stars each to the restaurant the staff and most of all our waitress. Thank you very much, and would advise anyone to eat there.
Food and drinks were excellent and arrived in a timely manner. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. Our appetizers, soups, and entrees were all hot and very tasty. The entrees come with unlimited soup or salad, so we were able to each take home a bowl of soup at no extra charge. My only complaint is that the website showed no wait time, but when we arrived there was a 45 minute wait (25 minutes for us because we signed up for the wait list online).
I had soup, salad and bread sticks. Our waitress was very attentive and asked me more than once if I wanted more. She got us drinks to go. She was so nice. The food was good and plentiful for a reasonable price. Restaurant is walking distance to the Tesla superchargers at the Hampton inn.
I forget his name, and i feel so bad about it, but whomever served table 52 on 6/28/2020.... Youre MINT! One of the best servers I have ever had, the food was phenomenal, the watermelon sangria was SPECTACULAR! And the server? Management he deserves a RAISE, I saw this young man make everyone smile and check on his tables in perfect time and his performance was magnificent!
This was a wonderful visit. From the time we walked through the door everyone there were so attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! We started with their all you can eat bread sticks and salad, then our main course...I had Chicken Marguerite and loved every bite on it! I highly recommend this restaurant. HINT...Look for coupons or specials, my meal was only $8.99 thanks to a special from an email message.
We had not been there for a while because the service was awful. Went last night, and we were impressed with the service and team work. Our wait was less than expected. Its very pretty and clean inside. Our order was correct. The food was delicious. And our server was exceptionally nice which can make the difference in a dining experience in my opinion.
This particular olive Garden has a really good staff and a very welcoming environment, I was greeted upon entry by a very wonderful employee and had a table in a matter of minutes, my waitress was a sweetheart and was fantastic all the way through. All in all I felt they had the best customer service out of all the restaurants Ive been to. The food was fantastic and the music was great, I do strongly recommend a booth seat, the actual dining chairs sit at a uncomfortable height for the tables they have. I would strongly recommend giving this location a try just keep in mind they do get very busy around 6PM.
Good food great service clean only negative as was not crowded were seated quite close to a extremely noisy party. Of course that was they were there celebrating... Just think it would have been more comfortable had the greeter been alert to the environment. as said, it wasnt crowded and I realize for practicality sale for both customers and servers distance is a big issue... However at times common sense or training in environmental control should be taken into consideration.. Dont you agree?
Very friendly ppl.i ordered inside for take out n ordered a lemonade to go also but while waiting inside they offered me a lemonade while i waited.food was great salads for take out was big didnt think they be that big for take out but glad they was cause I like salad. The other food was good portions. Will order here again next time im in town
My husband and I decided to go to OG for Supper and we loved it!!! The food was excellent and our server/ bartender Zack was very friendly and prompt. The phone was ringing non stop and the lady who answered it over and over had the most pleasant voice and was very nice in speaking to the callers. I asked Zack who the lady answering the phone was and he said Heather. The whole dining experience was very nice.
Service was fabulous. Food.... They changed their spaghetti sauce, 2 people in our group of 4 disliked their spaghetti sauce based meals. 2 had soup and salad.... The chicken gnocchi soup is not creamy, very thin and runny. Tasted ok but I prefer it to be creamy and thicker. Once again. Not worth the money.Once again service and management were great .. institutionalized food is not worth it.
Our service was very good but it was my first time going back since they changed their menus. I was really disappointed that they removed some of my favorite items. (Braised short ribs and tortellini was my favorite). I might just cross them off my list of restaurants since the changes. It seems like their trying to reduce the quality of the food in order to save on costs.
My fiance and I just left there from having our birthday celebration dinner and its the absolute best ! Great service great food . I had the seafood Alfredo and will get it every time we go back ! I also tried the iced coffee and mango smoothie for the first time and they were also amazing !
Soup would have been better had it been hot, not lukewarm. Peppers in the Chicken Scampi were basically raw, fine for a salad, not very appetizing in a pasta dish, which was also lukewarm, not even hot enough to melt the freshly grated cheese on top. Ive had way better meals at Olive Garden, this was disappointing. Server was attentive and pleasant, otherwise Id have rated 2 stars.
We ordered carside service from Olive Garden. We arrived about 15 minutes early and, after taking our name, the person went inside, returned moments later, and informed us our order would be right out. Twenty minutes later - after the time we requested the order be ready - we called to see if we were forgotten. (They said our order had just been completed.)We included a salad with our order that was supposed to feed six. I believe it would have only fed two. It was SMALL and we had to add our own salad mix. To make matters worse, they packed the salad between the hot items. Who does that? Pack cold food separate from hot.
This Olive Garden was great! Jonathan the manager was fabulous. He did a great job helping us and the food was incredible! Both diners gluten free and for Italian food doing pasta and sauces right without wheat can be a challenge. Everything food wise great! And service wise wonderful! Great job at this location, and were from Columbus and have multiple locations near us.
Went here with my daughter and grandchildren and it was one if the worst experiences I have had at this Olive Garden. The food was OK but it was our waitress who made this a bad experience. She took our order and brought the salad and we did not see her again till our food came out and everyone around us was getting our food and it took a long time for ours to come out. When it finally came out the grandchildren were ready to leave. My soup was cold and I was not able to ask for more because the waitress got lost again and I had to ask another waitress to bring a box and for the check. I would recommend going to the Cracker Barrel or Texas Road house for better service.
The food was good, the waitress was good, but the place itself was a little gross. As soon as we started walking back to our table, it smelled so weird in there, like old washrags and mop water (idk, its the only way I know how to describe it). The smell sort of lingered throughout the place. We also got a glimpse of the kitchen and it did not look sanitary. Food all over the floors, workers without gloves... it wasnt an awful experience, but I wouldnt come back just because I feel like its not very clean in there and the smell was just too much for me.
The food and service was top notch. Originally we were going to eat at Texas Steak House, but the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. I call over to Olive Garden and they told me that there wait time was about 15 minutes. We got in even faster than 15 minutes. The Olive Garden is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at, and they didnt disappoint me.
The service was excellent. The restaurant is clean and was recently renovated. However, the food was not good. Every dish we had was significantly under seasoned. The shrimp was very overcooked and rubbery. The chicken tasted like it was premade, frozen, and reheated. The pasta was overcooked. The sauces on both entrees were a big miss. The pesto was thin and runny. The scampi sauce tasted like watery butter, no flavor of wine or lemon, hardly any garlic. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality.
Visited Olive Garden the other night while the tornado sirens were going off. Food was just ok, not much flavor. As I was enjoying my evening and the company I was with I looked up at the light over our table which was covered in cobwebs. I made the comment to the waitress about hope the kitchen is cleaner then out here is. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled good but overall the restaurant needs a good deep cleaning with Windows watched inside and out all lights need to be cleaned, and the wood railings were covered in dust..just makes a person wonder what the kitchen was like along with the refrigerators.
We just left this location in Lima. The host took us to the table and the table and chairs were dirty. She took a napkin (dry) and wiped the chairs. We told her the table was dirty also. She started wiping with the same napkin!! We ask if she could use a cleaner, she walked away and came back and had sprayed something on the napkin.- wiped the table and it was still dirty --with crumbs. We ask if we could set at another table which was 3 steps away and she said that section was closed. Needless to say we left. We thought they should be taking extra precautions with covid. This host was doing as little as possible.
Service and food was excellent. Food selection was from TV advertisements. My husband tried the smoked shrimp with ? Penne(?) noodles and a yellow cheese crusted with parmesan cheese. He was not disappointed. I had chicken with shrimp and spaghetti noodles. The chicken melted in my mouth. After dinner, I really enjoyed a relaxing coffee with kahlua and cream on the side.
I have to admit its not one of my regular stops, after this visit I find myself wanting to go back more often. The service was Great the Food was Delicious and the restaurant was Clean and Organized. I wound up getting the stuffed chicken marsala with a blue moon brew, boy was it ever good!! I dont believe they take reservations but you can get on their waitlist, by calling in before you arrive.
My expectations were not met. Looks like they are in the process of a remodel. Duct taped carpet patches on the floor. Drywall patches unpainted, front entrance half painted. Bare wood under the Booths, Totally not what Im used to at olive garden. When the waiter brought out the salad he didnt bring enough for the family! Really half of a bowl for four people? Bread sticks were in short supply, along with the raspberry lemonade. The real kicker was when it was time to pay the bill, waiter asked me to fill out the survey. I paid cash never got a receipt. When I asked where the survey was he said you cant if you pay cash. I guess this is the only way for you to get an honest opinion. Pass On The Olive Garden In Lima!
Went the other day with my boyfriend and we had quite possibly the best server I’ve ever had at a restataurnt. Her name was Melody and she was AMAZING!!! So sweet, quick, helpful, and very fun! Saw her handle a ton of customers at once and do so with flying colors! Loved her!!
Great food.....terrific service!! Electric went out, just after we received our food. Early afternoon so not pitch black. Wait staff did wonderful job caring for customers!! Soup and salad for most....no way of cooking except fried. We laughed a lot as did everyone!! Fun meal!!
I have been to Italy. Olive Garden tastes nothing like Italy. Know what though? Who cares. Always a great time with the family. Clean dining room, always consistent food and the salad and bread sticks are so iconic. Ive loved Olive Garden for over 25 years. The one in Lima, Ohio is hard to see from the road, but it lives up to the franchise.
Waited over an hour with a pager standing next to the call desk. Ask for an update on how long it would be. They checked our pager and their system showed that we had already been seated! Food portions were small for the price. Service was mediocre. Drinks were never refilled without asking.
The staff here is always friendly. We usually never have to wait during busy times more than 30 minutes. Although sometimes (not always) the salad is a bit wilted and the breadsticks are cold. Ive rarely had an issue with my entree here. This restaurant has the new touchscreens at the tables where you can pay on your own, but your server will still take your payment especially if its a combined payment. This is also a clean place to eat.
Long wait..but that was understandable because it was mothers day. Service was fine. What was unacceptable was the poor quality of food. Expensive calamari was just a plate of crumbs and did not look like the picture. My parmesan chicken was overcooked, hard crusted and cold.
Id love to give this place no stars if I could! The staff are clueless! Waited 25 minutes and our pager went off we handed it to one of the girls and then stood there waiting to be taken to our seat to find out that one of the other girls took a different party of 5 (that had just walked in and not waited one minute for a table) to our table. Best part they didnt even realize it until I said is our table ready yet because I had already given our pager and shes like oh we already seated you! Then they had no table for us and asked if we could wait 5-10 minutes longer until they could find us a different table. No apologies at all they just said it was a simple mix up! I love Olive Garden food but not going back to this one since there staff are idiots.
Olive Garden is my wifes favorite place to go probably in the entire world. Its pretty high up there in my chart also. We visited the one in Lima and they had very fast service and the waitress was great. The dining area always seems so elegant and makes you feel like you are in a super fancy place. This is definitely a great date night. Definitely try the salad as well as any of the pasta items. I havent found anything there that I dont like. In Lima, our GPS didnt know where to take us hardly, its back by the hotel area.
I love Olive Garden and all of them including this one always have great waitresses and waiters. They are fast and always keep your drinks filled. They also keep the bread sticks and salad coming until your food is ready. And this past time we barely had time to eat salad because our food came so quick.
The Zuppa really was not good. It was watered down and did not taste nears good. This is the second time we came and the soup was the same. Weve tasted a lot better and we are told theres one certain lady that cooks it right. We are not looking forward to coming back anywhere soon the super really was not good it was water down and did not taste near as good this is a second time we came and the soup was the same weve taste it a lot better and we are told theres one certain lady that cooks it right we are not looking forward to coming back anywhere soon until we know that this problem is fixed
Olive garden is always delicious and high quality. This olive garden specifically is good, servers are nice and helpful staff is nice. Only problem we had was the rotted lettuce in the salad, asked for a new one and the 2nd one was the exact same way. All in all food was amazing just avoid anything with their lettuce or be cautious.
My boyfriend and i had a gift card for Christmaa and used it Tonight for a carry out order. When I called and asked pricing questions, the man on the line was extremely helpful. When I went to pick up my food, a gentleman held the door opened for me, I was greeted by two other employees and my food was hot and ready. I am very pleased with the customer service at this place!
Olive garden is always on point. The wait might be ling sometimes but the food is always what is expected. The online orders could definitely use some work as its NEVER ready by the expected time frame but it wont stop me from continuing to order here its just one of those things that u hope is improved at some point.
Every time I eat at this Olive Garden I leave feeling satisfied. We asked for extra bread sticks and they brought 7-8 hot bread sticks at once for 2 people. They was perfect and fresh.Five cheese ziti is the best dish I have had on their menu and I now order it every time. Cannot go wrong with Olive Garden!
The thing that bothered me the most was the smell. It smelled like someones house who has several indoor pets and doesnt clean often enough. The place needs a lot of work. The restrooms werent in good shape.I was there for a family thing, and Olive Garden isnt my favorite place to eat, so I wont criticize the food. The food is what it is. The rest of the experience, other than the people in general, was pretty poor.
One star is one too many. Our waitress was very inattentive, so when my table had been waiting for boxes, I got up and asked another server for some boxes. He was perfectly pleasant, but our actual waitress overheard. When she believed I was out of earshot, she made several cruel jokes about me in the kitchen, one of which consisted of, “So, she thinks she’s the server now,” followed by a kitchen full of laughter. She was very unprofessional, and I will not be returning. Unfortunately, she was not wearing a nametag, so I cannot ask the manager to take action or warn others about this rude waitress. Additionally, the same waitress shortchanged many of our group members. She deserved no tips, so it seems as if she resorted to stealing some.
Waitress was not very good. Didnt bother to ask if we wanted refills, didnt bring breadsticks with salad only with our food. Then the bread sticks were undercooked. When we were finished and ready to go she kept saying she was going to get us a box and didnt for quite a while. Would not suggest going there.
This olive garden really let me down during my last visit... My girlfriend and I all owed a family to walk in before us, put their name in and get taken care of. How are we rewarded? We are overlooked by the hostess and blatantly made to wait while another older couple gets seated before us. The reason I didnt give 1 star was because our server was awesome. I made sure to tip him well. The food was bland, we both got Alfredo and there was hardly any sauce on the noodles. After this experience we wont be returning to this location.

2021-11-14We came to Olive Garden and had the best experience. Our waitress, Autumn, was the sweetest lady ever and I would like to say that she deserves a raise :) Autumn made our days absolutely better and I just wanted to thank her for making this fun outing even better

2022-07-07We went last night to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and online wait time was 15 minutes and when we got there and checked in was told 35 minutes. We finally got sat and our server was amazing. The food took forever to come out and that was after she originally said they were out of the lasagna for tour of italy then magically his plate had lasagna on it when it came out. Food tasted ok but at roughly midnight both me and my husband found ourselves sick and fighting over the bathroom. It got so bad i had to miss work today due to it. As much as I would like to say we will be back i dont see it happening anytime in the near future.

2022-07-10Its alright. 1 out of 2 chicken parm patties was dry. Otherwise our drinks were kept refilled and service was quick for a Saturday. Walked right in around 8pm-ish.

2022-07-02My husband and young granddaughter ate here on July 1. We were led past almost completely empty sections, to a table in the back by an employee break table, and where a trainee was seated. I let it slide, even though it seems obvious they were trying to put the people with the young child out of sight. Our server was conscientious. Employees were friendly. Food was mediocre. When I went to flip the salt grinder over to dispense salt, it seemed to dispense some- already ground. It was actually someone’s nasty idea of a prank, as it was sugar substitute. I did tell the server before we left. She took it, no offer to make it right for us. We also ordered a chicken and gnocchi soup to go. Today I heated it up. There was NO GNOCCHI, and I mean NONE at all, in the soup. We were looking forward to this lunch out, but at this point I don’t think we will come back.

2022-07-02Way overpriced, no breadsticks, on a Friday at 5:30. No line so not overly busy. Not managed properly salad was warm and were given hot plates to eat salad on. Food wasnt up to par. I wont be doing dinner or this location ever. Friday 5:30, no breadsticks, friday 6:00 just coming out of oven???I have worked for OG. I know the routine. Miller lights $5.00?Sure wasnt worth the $100 we spent. Our dirty dishes remained on the table after we boxed everything to go because noone liked their meal but the 2 kids. Never again. You asked

2022-06-05We stopped in at 5:30 pm. There was no waiting, we got seated immediately and our server was very prompt. The table service (silverware) did not have a knife in either of our sets. When the house salad was served the server informed us there was no bread sticks ready. Our main course was served before we were served bread sticks. We only received one knife due to the dishwasher (?). Our server was quick and courteous during all the missed items. This was the worst experience my wife and I have had at an Olive Garden Restaurant.

2022-05-26Unlimited soup and salad turned into one soup and salad and the waitress was never to be seen until the entree arrived.
