Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Stopped in town for a quick lunch with my mother and brother and had the worst experience ever here . We waited well over a hour for a simole bowl of soup. Then the waitress wanted to come and try to argue with us about are wait on are soup . Her excuse was i have more rhan just your table...worst ever never go there .
This was probably the worst service weve ever had dining in anywhere as far as service goes. My tortellini was brought without the chicken.. Once the food was received, it tasted good. Except the steak was undercooked. Asked for items needed (sauce for the under cooked steak, soup, drinks) many times. With no avail. Finally got some help from another waitress. The manager did make it right by taking a good portion of the bill off. My family were only one of 3 tables seated in the same area, with all the same issues.
My son and I went for dinner on Monday evening for mothers day. (He worked on Sunday)The food was excellent! However, if you go.. Id advise not sitting in the station that a young girl named Ashley is working.. terrible waitress! Made excuses instead of being truthful. I repeatedly had to get up and find another waitress or go to the kitchen myself! Luckily the manager was coming out of kitchen and helped us. He was very courteous and professional. He handled things for us, and I very much appreciated what he did for us.Unfortunately, I left my phone behind..(dishes were never taken away, so I didnt see it hidden by the plates) when I went back to get it.. it had been damaged. Looked like a pen stabbed into screen. Thankfully Olive Garden is replacing it for me.I will continue to eat there... I just wont be in Ashleys section!
My daughter loves pasta so I decided to bring her for her first time!! She loved every second of it!! We where seated right away !! The service was very quick and polite. The food itself was amazing!! They keep the place clean. When it came time to go they were great at getting us out fast because my 3 yr old was ready to go.
There are no Olive Garden restaurants near us so we travel about 40 miles to dine here. We think its worth it. For me, the soups are always the highlight of my meal. I come at lunch and order a lunch special, and that includes unlimited soup refills. All of their soups are quite good, but I especially like the Chicken Gnocchi. Most of the main dishes Ive had have been good, but the soups are always winners!
I recieved the slowest service that Ive ever had here. The quality of food was still good so the night was not a complete waste but there were definitely some sacrifices such as empty drinks most of the meal and long periods of time between seeing the waitress/ staff and them fulfilling any requests. I also think this was the first time I never saw a manager on the floor checking on the service people were recieving.
Friendly efficient service. Young man clearing tables took great care of us, even brought us more bread sticks and offered to refill our salad bowl. The waitress did a good job and was cheerful. The food was excellent. Everyone working there seemed to look out for other servers tables for refilling drinks, etc. It just had that little extra polish you like to see in a restaurant. A very pleasant dining experience.
The staff is fantastic! They are friendly and very helpful. I had trouble getting out of the booth and two male employees, Jeremiah and Eric, I think, came to my rescue. They ended up picking me up off the floor and when I was able to walk Eric walked me to my car. They were so patient and kind. Please thank them for me. The food was very good also.
This has been my favorite place to eat for celebrations for a long time. (Birthdays, promotions, anniversary ect.) However my Fiancee and I went on Saturday for our Anniversary and we were completely rushed out. We had all of our food including soup, salad, appetizer and main course within a half an hour. We had no time to enjoy the food or each others company. To some that may be your goal to get in and out but we rarely get out so this was kind of annoying. Thanks for all the good times but Ill think we will find a new happy place.
The food was good. I hadnt had Olive Garden in quite a while. We got chicken carbonara which was really good and the seafood alfredo which was likewise good. If you like extra sauce dont forget it get some on the side for the lasagna! :) To-go salad wasnt anything special but was fresh.
The hostess sat us down. The server moved us so her boyfriend could sit where we were. We got a new server and they came to the table Mayne twice. The food was not prepared the way it would normally be (different plates and thrown all over instead of nicely presented). Definitely an unusual occurrence
Considering the whole COVID thing, we need to have patience with restaurants. It may take longer than usual for you to be seated or for your server to get to you, but thats likely because theyre low on staff in order to allow more customers in.Tony at the bar was a great waiter and worked very hard during our stay. The food was delicious as usual!
Me an my lady decided to visit this Olive Garden an were pleased to have had a seat available for us is a area near the back... giving us a lil romantic feel.I had the salmon entreé an she had the chicken alfredo. Both meals were served fresh an hot by a really nice waiter. 👍👍
This happened awhile ago but I still wanted to share my story. I have never had a bad experience at an Olive Garden and this time was no different. It was me and my boyfriends one year anniversary date. We sat for about 10 minutes without service but we both understand that it can get really busy during dinner since we both work in the food industry( he works at Burger King and I work as a hostess at Cracker Barrel). One of the waiters asked if anyone had seen us and we said no. We didn’t know that he would grab the manger along with our waitress. They gave us two free appetizers which was not needed but we weren’t going to say no. The waitress was lovely and everyone was so nice. We had the best date ever even with the mix up. The food was amazing too!
The parking lot was packed when we stopped in but they were able to get us seated immediately which was unexpected but certainly welcomed. Server was great, very nice and sociable. I ordered Steak and potatoes that came with the Pasta e Fagioli as a choice which is delicious, especially with their bread sticks. Good Atmosphere, the only disappointment were the portion sizes for my meal.
This is one of my most favorite places to eat! The food is flavorful and filling, the staff are nice, and restaurant is lovely! The bathrooms are almost always clean and tidy. The only issue Ive had is that it is a little pricey.Id definitely recommend this for a dinner date, family dinner, or a business meeting.
We had a wonderful experience! We had a big party for a birthday. The kids enjoyed their food and the portions were big for kid meals! I always enjoy the house blush wine. Its very delicious with just about anything! Our service was just amazing! We had 2 servers and there was never a point in time where anyone needed anything! The prices are high, but the quality of the food is good!
Came in yesterday with both my kids and husband. Our waitress was kid friendly, attentive, on her toes and communicated clearly. The food was delicious and came out at nearly immediately edible temperature! Normally I have to actually wait to shovel it into my face 😂 the other patrons were all very patient when my son had a meltdown and I couldnt have asked for a better staff and atmosphere to have celebrated the end of the year with. Thank you to everyone at Olive garden for doing such an amazing job and handling rush like a boss!
This restaurant is awesome! I have never had anything quite is tasty and filling. It was my first experience and I definitely will be returning to the Olive Garden. Besides the food your manager was extremely helpful and courteous I believe his name was Doug. Thank you Doug it was a great meal. Also I would like to thank our waitress and I cannot remember her name, so sorry.
Saturday night 1hr 30min wait... 5 adults 4 kids with us, we waited we got free appetizers BC we all acted right stayed patient and treated the waitresses with respect. I feel at this restaurant we got the respect we deserved BC we gave them respect. The food was amazing along with the service. Would definitely recommend even if there is a way. 😃💎🙌👌
We used to love this place! The employees cared about the customers and the place was kept sparkly clean. Portions were great and the food tasted so good and fresh. But then our favorite waiter left, followed by others. Service dropped and food portions and fresh taste declined. The price we had always paid some how seemed like a gip. We have tried them a couple of times since but we were not impressed. Recently we stopped in again wait staff was friendly but the cleanliness needs some work. My dinner was the Chicken Alfredo. It was warm when served but there wasnt much sauce and the fettuccine was lumped together in sticky hard strands. I think they have a way to go but at least its getting better.
It was very good. My son and I had steak with zucchini and alfredo pasta. It was better than expected. My wife and daughter had never ending pasta. Plus, my wife received a small dessert for her birthday. The server was helpful and patient with us. Still, it feels like were paying too much for what we get
One order was fine. The other, fettuccine Alfredo and steak was not good. Steak was well done when I ordered medium. There were about 30 noodles and paid 18.00. The to go box was bad enough that the steak juice mixed with the noodles which made for a bad tasting noodle. Overall not great
Ill always go here to eat because its the worlds greatest food an amazing service I will please you to T and make sure that youre happy and your food is excellent! Thank you again for all the yum yums! Chocolate milk shake too made from scratch just for a pregnant woman! We love you Hannah!
Food was good, and so was service, but theres just something missing i felt that I dont want to give five stars over. Maybe it was the atmosphere, or maybe it was that I didnt get enough food(I got the never ending pasta bowl, and was upset when I got full after my second bowl, whereas the year prior I got to my third before being done.)
Was as expected. Its a chain so generally everything tastes as expected. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The manager came by to see how we were doing, I thought that was nice. Our drinks were never empty. The only thing was that the little thing on the table didnt print the receipt when we paid.
Chicken Parmesan was totally unacceptable So salty I couldn’t enjoy it. The chicken was hard and tough. Heat of food led me to believe it had been reheated in microwave. Sparse cheese on top Marinara sauce not enough to cover spaghetti. Gnocchi soup was thin with nary a piece of chicken. Dressed it up with pinches of spinach. Didn’t work.Hope the kitchen people can improve. This was a very disappointing night out! Will try another location next time. Waiter was great- kept the experience from being a total bust.
Had a simple order. 2 ordered of chicken Alfredo and 2 soups. Asked for extra sauce... It was not busy at all. Got no extra sauce and got 2 salads instread of soup. Stood at the to go counter for several minutes until someone finally came out to greet me. The food didnt taste of high quality. Tasted old. Was kind of upset because they used to have great food and service.
Our waiter was Marcus, who was outstanding!! If you want top notch service, I highly recommend him being your server!! The food was good, however I had to send my steak back as it was over cooked. Second one wasnt any better!! Any seasoned chef knows when a steak is ordered bleu its VERY rare!!
I like to go here when I am celebrating an occasion or just want to go out to a nice place to eat. Their prices can be sort of high compared to other places around but their service and food are always on point and make the price you pay worth it. The special deals and rewards points can also off put some of the price as well and they have a fantastic selection of drinks and desserts as well.
My 2 friends and I went. We had the all you can eat salad and soup with breadsticks. It was so delicious to try their different soups. And of course the salad and breadsticks are always a favorite. The restaurant was nice and clean and fully staffed. Our waitress was the greatest. Havent been there for a long time. Thank you!
Slow service at first. Then once they bring out salad and soup they come and shove your entre down at your table. You dont see anyone till they come by and drop off the bill. My biggest issue with these type of places is they dont even bother to ask you if you are interested in dessert. 👎
Very busy Sunday at Olive Garden in Findlay, Oh . My party of 5 where seated fairly soon and had a great experience. Our waiter was one of the best. Food came quickly and was Very good . This is one of Findlays best restaurants and has great people who care about the customers.
We sat at a booth in the bar. Our server was very friendly, and kept our drinks filled. We enjoyed the spicy shrimp fritta before one of the quick soup and sandwich lunches, and finished with the chocolate brownie lasagna. The shrimp is a favorite of ours and was cooked perfectly. The soups and sandwiches were good, but the star of the meal was the brownie lasagna! I always enjoyed the Chocolate Lasagna they had before, so I was excited to try this new dessert. It is decadent and the portion size was more than the two of us could finish.
So usually I go and its great but today not so much. The waitress, Grace, was amazing. The manager on the other had was rude and demanded an ID from a drink across my table which definitely wasnt mine. Wasnt even close to me. The seafood was tasted really fishy like it wasnt kept cold enough or wasnt soak long enough. Either way it was gross. Definitely wont be back.
Not a family friendly environment, was pushed out because of my 2 year old. We got our food and less then 10 minutes later they were boxing our food and telling us to leave! The manager thought we were walking out without paying our bill because my husband took the kids to the car while I WAS paying the bill. Food wasnt good horrible experience and will not go back
For appetizers we got got calamari, which was almost all breading; the stuffed mushrooms, which were off tasting and the clam in them was rubbery; and the lasagna frizzol, which was tough to cut and not very good either. This dropped 2 stars because it was all a fail. For the meal we got soup and salad, fantastic as always. The wait staff was wonderful.
Came in and bought unlimited soup and salad for $11. Girlfriend wanted to try some of the salad so I gave her a really small amount. Waitress came back, saw the leftovers on her plate, and told me I was cut off from salad unless I paid for another salad. If thats your policy thats fine, but perhaps you should put up a sign before stealing from customers.
Terrible experience. Came in on a Thursday evening with a party of 4. Told itd be 5 minutes. We were the only ones waiting. 20 minutes later another party of 4 comes in and are told 5 minutes. They ask to sit up front cause back is too noisy. So we are all waiting, check in 10 minutes later , 30 minutes in and told mgr wont let them seat anyone but itll only be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later they seat the second party of four a head of us?!?! Asked for the manager who made excuses and we left. Completely clueless management staff!!!!
Went today for lunch it was terrible breadsticks were hard and salad was gross and soggy .. ordered lasagna frita and it was burnt on top and waiter never offered to make a new one or take it off my bill. And the manager was no where to be found when i asked to see them I wont recommend anyone to visit this place.. the only thing that was good was soup.. I had to ask the waiter three times for a refill u need to hire people that know what they are doing.. and he also if we wanted our bills split either he annoyed me . His name was Brian ..
Gotta say, we were disappointed. The quality is not what I remember as a teen and early adult (20 years ago). Our server was great and saved the entire evening. The kids liked the food, but my wife and I can make everything we had so much better and healthier. Iceberg lettuce salad - get with the times and add a nice helping of other greens already. You might have to ask for more bread. It is limitless, but it is a basic breadstick. All of the pasta dishes taste basic. Salmon left a lot to be desired in flavor and freshness. It didnt look anything like the picture on the menu. The kids loved the Mac and Cheese, which resembled the velveeta shells and cream. They say everything is made fresh, but nothing tasted fresh. We eat fresh all the time, and nothing we had qualified as fresh. Considering the prices and the lack of freshness, ingredients, and quality, the menu prices are way to high. The atmosphere is ok. The server made all the difference. You can find better Italian. Fazolis was almost as good as Olive Garden has become.
Im a big fan of pasta so I love eating here. They offer all you can eat breadsticks and salad. The breadsticks are delicious. I typically dont eat the salad and opt for the soup instead which they have a good variety to choose from. Ive tried each one and personally like them all so which one I get usually depends on what Im in the mood for. The staff are great. I have a somewhat goofy personality and theyve always joked right back.
Food was good for the most part, bread sticks were over done though. Server left something to be desired. He forgot plates for the appetizer, forgot the soup (had to ask twice which one we wanted), didnt even see the server for a solid 30 minutes after we were done eating.
The food was absolutely delicious and our server Tony couldnt have been friendlier or faster. However, we were not able to use our $5 coupon through Retail-Me-Not so they only get 4/5 stars. Tony said the code for the coupon wasnt working, but it would have been nice if the manger couldve given us a discount anyway.
Compared to traditional Italian its subpar I dont mind going here for lunch specials but dont really get the fancy Italian vibe from this place like most do. I can make better flavored pastas at home for a fraction of the cost. None the less an ok place to go if price isnt an issue.
Even though it was a Sunday and the after church crowd was out, the parking lot was full and it was the never ending pasta bowl promotion, we did not have to wait long to be seated and our 4 different orders came out quickly. Of course it was delicious, but the whole experience was great!
Great service with one minor blip in food delivery. The appetizer came out after the entree. But, BEFORE we even said a word they came to the table, apologized, took them off the bill and wrapped them up to take home. Stuff happens. They were slammed. Its all about how we are taken care of. A win for Olive Garden! Thanks!
Took the in-laws out for lunch. They love olive garden and so do we. This one is by their house where we were staying. My father in-law and I are not small guys and the four of us were sat at a very small square table. Long story short, after the salad and bread arrived while we still had the appetizer there wasnt any room for our meals. Which by the way came out before we even got done with our salad. Usually olive garden isnt so quick so Im not holding this against them this time, but dont be afraid to ask your waitstaff to slow your order.
The stuffed pasta is soooo good! Its even great the next day warmed up in a crudy microwave. I asked my server if she had seen the Olive garden meme, she had. She went through three graters of cheese for a homie. Word Becky* I think I love you. Marry me ?*(not her name Ive forgotten it but she looked like a Becky)
At 7 pm I went to olive garden for a dish i saw in a commercial. I got off my couch, put on real pants and went in. We sat at the bar where i was told they were out of the sauce for my dish. I accepted the substitution but turned down the basket of brown and rock hard breadsticks, and they had to bake new ones, taking 20 minutes. I was extreamly disappointed and told the server at each new discovery. No discount but i still tipped 20% bc it wasnt my servers fault. But there were, no apologies and no fresh breadsticks........ Next time Ill save my money
The bread sticks were so salty we couldnt eat them and the bulid your own thing we ordered was not good at all. Neither of our food had any flavor what so ever. And one of the workers gave my daughter a dirty look and rolled his eyes at her when we were walking out! Make sure you dress for winter cause its so cold in this place.
Came here with a friend and my 4 year old daughter at opening time (11am) . Breadsticks were clearly old and not fresh, super salty too. I requested new ones. The new ones were fresh but still had way too much garlic salt or whatever is put on them. My 4 year old who normally loves them wouldnt even eat them because they burnt her mouth. My soup (zuppa) was pitiful. It had nothing in it and the waitress apologized even while handing it to me saying that it was all they had left.. Really? You just opened? The icing on the cake was when my 4 year old had to use the bathroom and there was human feces on the floor in the handicap stall. Just what you want to see when having a nice meal. I reported it right away and by that time I just wanted to leave and go home and eat. I am just so disappointed. This is NOT what I expect from Olive Garden!!!
I got my 1 1/2 year old a kids spaghetti meal go to stir it up And lucky I did because there was a big piece of plastic from a bag they cut open. Yeah you guys may have been busy but there is no excuse for this. If anything would have happened to my baby there would be hell to pay! So next time pay attention to your customers food before serving it. (Got a picture but wont let me post)
I visited this restaurant awhile back at lunch time and sadly I was disappointed, a few days ago I visited with family for supper and I have to say I was impressed with the difference. Our server could have been more attentive as there were not many others dining at that time but other than that the bread sticks were fresh and hot and I actually took my leftovers with me this time.
DO NOT go here if you place an online order!!! The online order will disappear despite having a confirmation number saying your order went through. I had to wait around an extra hour AFTER I had placed another order to get my food. Plus they even forgot my breadsticks. I Highly do not recommend if you are going to place an online order!
I have been to this Olive Garden 2 times and I have got some of the worst service. The waitress brought out the soups and forgot my wife’s and did not come back out for 10 or more minutes they said sorry I for got. She then brought out the soup and did not even offer the cheese.
What are reservations for? this is the second time Ive made reservations hours beforehand only to be handed a buzzer and made to wait long after the reservation time. What is the point of a reservation if not to avoid this situation? The first time my party waited nearly an hour and right now it is 30 minutes and counting. Why take reservations at all if theyre not going to be upheld?
Went to try there bottomless stuffed pasta deal couple days ago. There was four to choose from, but I dont do mushrooms, leaving three to choose from. It isnt long until I find out that theyre out of the stuffed ziti and the asiago tortellini as well. Leaving only the cheese ravioli and mushroom ravioli. So my dinner of trying new things amounted to some cheese ravioli. Having spent years in the restaurant industry I know stuff happens, but the staff not offering any sort of solution, NADA, is what really was frustrating!
Ordered 18.00 dinner. Fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp. Expected tiger shrimp instead was served mini shrimp. Fred sauce was dry and you could tell it was not made from scratch. Made in some food facility and bagged to be reheated and drizzled over the fettuccini. Every time my family goes its a disappointing experience. We wont be back.

2022-05-14We waited over an hour for our waiter to come and tell us that they were out of lasagna but they just found some so it will be while yet. Never came back to offer more soup or salad or drinks. We watched several tables come in after us even had appetizers and were gone before we got our meals. The waiter said that the manager wanted to discount our meals since we had to wait so long and he or she did take off $8 plus some change. But it would have been nice if the manager came out and apologized to us. Our waiter was a nice young man but he was MIA.

2022-06-28Place wasnt very busy.they seated our party of 6 fairly quickly. Waited a while for our waitress. Waited a while more for our drinks and salad. Only brought one small bowl hardly served our group. Took a while for main courses. Once the food arrived it was all very good. Cooked well. My eggplant was just right. Waitress was lovely just very slow and seemed distracted. Probably wont be back but for American Italian it was ok.

2020-09-20With the covid restrictions we had to wait in our car for seating. They got us in earlier than the tome they told us the wait would be the staff was friendly and helpful. We had 3 happy kids when they got their meals. It was an enjoyable experience.

2020-08-29The service by Austin was great. The food was really good with the exception of the chicken in my Tour of Italy. Very poor quality of chicken. The bad chicken reduced this rating by .5 the other 1.5 is for the HIGH prices. Very expensive here now- not sure when this happened but this will be why we dont go often. We can afford it but its the principle... pasta and the ingredients used does not justify a $19 per plate charge. Ridiculous.

2022-03-12It was just not a good experience for me and two of my friends tonight. Or waitress constantly forgot about us, forgot we had asked for more breadsticks, boxes, never asked if we wanted more to drink. Initially she took our order then came back and asked if we were ready to order. We know things happen and thought maybe shes new? We waited over an hour for our food, our second round of breadsticks were hard and cold. When our food finally came it was awful. The chicken was so rubbery we couldnt eat it. Waited FOREVER for our bill. Sadly this ruined it for me and my friends and we probably wont return.

2021-04-11As usual Olive garden experience the service was excellent the young lady we had was the best,!!💯 Other than that the food was subparate at best I think their food is way overpriced for what you get in portion sizes my food was lacking enough adequate alfredo sauce just not overly satisfied with my experience here.
