Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Appetizer was good and hot. We had the fried mozzarella cheese. The salad was not up to par. One! Yes I said one. One olive in our salad. No cheese, not even offered. Our entrées took over an hour to get. Again not offered cheese. Was told by Marion A. that he was going to comp us two adult beverages, but was charged for them and they werent even what we had order. This was at 2789Miamisburg Centerville Rd. Dayton, Ohio
My husband and I went for lunch and the lobby was full. They told usthat we had a 35 minute wait. How disappointing! We love Olive Garden but waiting for over a half hour is crazy! Hire some more help. We were told there were only 5 servers for this very large Olive Garden. :(
I will say the food was good. My waiter, Colin, however not so much. After he took our initial order and brought our food he never came back. My entire party of 4 went without a single refill. We also ordered the Neverending alfredo sauce for our breadsticks and had enough for 3 breadsticks amongst us. We asked for more when he brought our main course. We waited 40 minutes and had to ask another waitress to get our waiter so we could get the check and leave since no one was in the mood to stay longer to order dessert. If not for the waiter, the experience wouldve been fantastic as we love it here.
We got 2 orders of the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks, and 1 of the lunch spaghetti and meatballs. The service was horrid, we waited 30 minutes just to get a refill on the soup, and did not get a water refill for one of the three of us and only one for myself and one other.
So happy to find a place to eat out during pandemic restrictions! This is the first time we went out to eat in 12+ weeks! After giving my cell number at the entrance, we waited in the parking lot for about 15-20 minutes and were called in. The staff is required to wear masks, no salt & pepper shakers, disposable paper menus, social distancing, the salad dressing is served on the side, no chicken marsala on the menu. Outside of mentioned above, no changes. The food and service were amazing! Olive Garden does not disappoint 😊
A good experience. We cannot control what other guests do like let their children run around scream etc. Our waiter was very attentive. He was busy running around to five other tables but he managed to take good care of us and the food was fine. My only drawback was that dinner made it to us before our appetizer did.
For starters the food was by far the worst I have ever had and I eat at Olive Garden A LOT!!! The salad barley had dressing on it, I asked for extra and didn’t get it for another 15 min. Someone brought out our appetizer sat it down left like we were a bother never even asked if we would like cheese on it. Our sons pizza was so bad he couldn’t even eat it! Our waiter was horribly slow and NEVER came to check on us! We asked for stuff and some things we NEVER did get! We CONSTANTLY HEARD THE WAITRESSES STANDING AROUND TALKING ABOUT HOW PEOPLE WERE ONLY LEAVING THEM $5 tips and how ridiculous that was etc.. KEPT ASKING EACH OTHER WELL HOW MUCH DID YOU MAKE AND THEN MAKE REMARKS ABOUT IT!!! Even over heard one telling customers that she hadn’t made much money tonight but yet completely forgot their salad and brought their food, WELL WELL THERE IS YOUR ANSWER 🤦🏼♀️ May need new management! We were out of town and wanted Olive Garden however when we are back in this town we will never go back there!!
Worst experience Ive ever had at olive garden. We sat at the bar high top and the service was terrible. Idk who thought it would be a good idea to give the bartender his own tables to wait as well as get drinks for the entire restaurant. The main course came as I was half way into my salad (so not well spaced out). My husbands food never came, and instead of realizing it, the bartender/waiter came and asked if we wanted dessert.Very disappointed.
Yikes what can I say, to start off the food we got was good. We got there an hour and half before another engagement, walk in store is under half full we should be good, ehhhh wrong. By the time we actually got waited on we had decided on everything we wanted so we got it all in got apps and salad out to us relatively quickly. Waited waited, check on the time it had been close to 60 mins since we put our order in ask the waitress telling her we need to go soon disappears for another 15 mins, long story short we ended up being late, and didnt even get our main course, manager still charged us for everything but entrees. Probably just make the trek to middletown or if another one is close by.
Went there with a group of about 20 and seated at 1230. We had reserved an area as part of a memorial celebration for a dearly departed friend. Despite them being aware, we orded drinks then waited a long time for just the bread sticks. We ordered the meals. I felt sorry for the poor waiter, 20+ hungry people waiting to be served. , Finally at 2,pm the meals finally got there. The management never came back to check in on us. Very disappointing.
It wasnt very busy so I thought wed get faster and better service but not the case. She did a decent job but she wasnt attentive, bread was hard like it had been reheated hard on bottom.. not fresh at all we had to tell her to bring better we had to ask for more salads we had to ask for refills. She should have been coming back asking us if it was something that we needed I had to repeat myself several times just for lemons and better and refills when it was unlimited drinks and appetizers that I paid for. I normally have a good experience with Olive garden but not this time.
Party of six dined in yesterday. Got online to get a table and approximate wait time. Arrived on time and waited 20 minutes. Our server was friendly, but had zero sense of urgency. We waited about 10 min for drinks. Another 15 for salad. No bread sticks for another 10. Once we finally received our entrees we had to ask for drink refills, salt and pepper, and the side of ranch we ordered. Waited another 20 for all of that while we sat with empty drinks. One of our part had cold food by the time the salt and pepper etc arrived for his entree. The pay tablet on the table was dead. Waited forever for our checks. She only had 3 tables and just wasnt at all attentive to our table. Very unsatisfied with our dining experience. We were there nearly two hours.
Food was fine, but the management was awful. My family of five waited, inexplicably, while guest after guest was given a table ahead of us (it was not a busy night). Staff was bickering and complaining openly in the waiting area. A family with extremely unruly children (screaming, chasing each other through the restaurant, wrestling on the floor beside our table) was not addressed a single time by the staff (another annoyed customer addressed them, to no avail). Never even saw a manager that I was aware of. Service was slow in general, and a number of the staff was unprofessional.
Good (consistent) food. We had a good server. Overall Id recommend. However, our experience with the on line wait list left much to be desired. First it says that you can call to check availability for parties over 6. We had 7, so we called when we were ready to leave home. They said, No, actually you cant do that, you have to come into the restaurant. Frustrated, I kept an eye on the wait time listed for parties up to 6 and it remained at 1-15 min, so I felt pretty safe. Upon arrival, however, I was told in a tone that said wed really prefer that you didnt crowd our list that our wait would be 40 minutes. I mentioned the 1-15 listed on the website. The hostess laughed and said Thats inaccurate. No apology, in word or tone, just an impatient So do you want me to put you on the list?It was a poor way to start a celebration dinner. Under other circumstances I would certainly have walked out, but we had family that had just arrived from out of town so we stayed and hoped for the best.As I said, the food and wait service to follow was fine. Go, but prepare for a chilly welcome and undetermined wait.
Very busy, we requested a table for 3 adults and a high chair. When they called us they tried to give us a booth and booster seat. The hostess apologized and said let me try to find you a table. I asked if she remembered the request I made for a table not booth and she replied yes I do I forgot. Food and waitresses were excellent. Spent over $80 .
When you need a quick Italian fix and tried and true go to meals are what youre feeling, this location is the one to hit. The staff is friendly, the food is always what youre looking for. Aint a thing wrong olive garden when you want Italian and it doesnt need to be high price. Haters, go on, get.
Great server but cant recall his name sorry and he was also training two new servers which I found impressive. He did a phenomenal job training, getting our drinks and orders right. I had the create your own pasta I went with the gluten free pasta, five cheese marinara and grilled chicken. Refills were provided more than sufficient and overall great experience. Will be back to this location for sure.
So we went in for lunch with my family for valentines day the day after. The waitress said while we were taking a seat Im not serving you as a joke. She got us bread then as she was taking our order she was scratching her long nails in her hair and touched her nose we dont even know if she washed her hands after that. Then she got us salad with no drinks we wanted 20 mis after that still no drinks after that watched her and four others talk for for 15mins the manager walked by looked at them said nothing then walked by us not looking at tables were it was just salad. We were all unhappy with are stay and how this place is being taken care of and we LEFT. The Manger didnt even care.
Very under staffed! Waited 40 minutes for table, the poor server was doing her best, but we waited 10 minutes for her to get drinks and about 30 minutes for food. They did not even have full table tops. The front house manager and back house manager were joking around with servers who were not working. I think olive garden is the next food chain to go under, and they all know it.
My wife ordered online at 4:45 for a carry out to be picked up at 5:15 and she finally got the order at 5:50 35 minutes waiting. That is horrible! There was a lady picking up an order for 30 people. That order should have been declined since it obviously held up many others. A 35 minute wait is totally unacceptable. I want compensated for the ridiculous service.
Got the seafood Alfredo and it came out burnt and not only the meat was burnt but the noodles themselves was burnt. They had to have peeled them off the bottom of the pan. Had it remade and they bring it out runny. There was no sauce to it at all just noodles floating in discolored water. Manager would not come out and talk to us, it was pitiful.
So upon arrival we where told it would be a 20 to 30 min wait. The location was pretty empty. So after an hour wait an several individuals after us being seated before us. My wife had to go speak hostess An ask her what was the hold up. Part of my party walked out because they were sick of waiting. We are finally seated after an hour an twenty minutes. We ask to speak to the manager. Who informed us the hostess told him we where fine seating there waiting while she sat other. Which of course was a total BS. An the manager of resolution was to give a free dessert. Which I declined. I would have been more happy with Im sorry I for the mixup. Not being offered a free piece of pie. Wont be back there for sure.
The lady at the front told us it will only be 15 minutes it was not it was 50 minutes which we understand It was Saturday night the food was OK the only good thing was our amazing waitress Katie who made the whole experience better.. She was definitely the highlight of the evening.
Honestly my husband and I go here all the time, but we are extremly disappointed. We had to sit in the waiting area which was fine. The issue was they let 2 groups go ahead of us. When my husband asked why we had yet to be seated the desk lady said well I guess no one took your name down even though she was one of the staff who had us sit and wait. This experience has made them lose my service. I would rather eat at B DUBs
My family and I were in 01/21/2021 for my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday and I usually don’t do many restaurant reviews unless I’m very unhappy with my service honestly but this is a good review! I think our servers name was Brendan, it was around 2pm when we were there. Hands down the best service I’ve had in awhile. He was so polite, prompted service and did not miss anything nor keep us waiting. Brought refills without having to ask. I was so very please and definitely will come back! Plus of course the steak and ribs with loaded potato and steamed veggies were so delicious! I was honestly full by time I had a blooming onion and bread but the food was so good I ate until I was miserable lolThank you for such great food and service!
We visit Olive Garden on a regular basis, but this experience was better than normal. Our service is usually good, but tonight it was excellent! Our servers name was Katie an I think she said her last name was stout, who made our visit perfect. She went above and beyond our expectations. Its hard to put into words why, but she handled everything we ask of her with politeness and perfection. The meal was paced out nicely, from salad, to appetizer, to meal. Our drinks were never empty, and she kept our table clear. I think one of the things I admired most of her service, was she asked if we were ready for the check, instead of placing it on the table making us feel rushed to leave. For a young waitress, she was awesome. In my opinion a server can make or break a visit but thank you Katie 😊!
Most expensive place to get a really good pasta dinner or lunch. The waitresses there were definitely inappropriate and rude, could use better manners for that. The food there is ok, just too pricey. Your lucky to spend 200 bucks there in one sitting. I would not waste my time or my money there.
We ordered a big dinner for Christmas Eve. We got bread sticks, salad, chicken parmesan, and seafood Alfredo. Whoever packed the order, put the Alfredo sauce on top. On my way home, I drove careful. After all, it was our dinner for the whole family. When I got home, nothing had fallen over but the Alfredo sauce was packaged sideways. It was all over everything. When I tried to call them, they put me on hold. 15 minutes later, the lady asked what I was waiting for. 40 minutes later I hung up. No manager ever answered or called me back. What a shame. We usually have good customer service there. Guess since its Christmas, they dont care. I might eat there again, but I will NEVER get catering from there ever again.
The Mad River Olive Garden in Dayton Ohio was one of the worst restaurants experience we ever had, period. The manager, hosts, and server were extremely rude and incompetent. Our table was greasy when we sat after waiting 30 thirty minutes, there was no help in seating, no acknowledgement. One of our dishes came out in a dirty plate. We aren’t sure if someone else ate off the plate but the bottom was cover in marinara sauce(it was for an Alfredo dish). The manager was super passive when hearing our complaints and our server never apologized. We for sure won’t be coming back.
Love Olive Gardens Knocci and Chicken Soup. Was very good during this trip. I also got the Shrimp Scampi and was not impressed with it at all. It seemed to lack flavor and was quite oily and without seasoning. Quite bland. The seating arrangement there was quite close together and that added to the general, overall noiseless of the restaurant. Wont be returning.
Sorry to say, but this is the second Olive Garden restaurant in my area that I have to write off. We ordered the unlimited soup and salad for dinner.Salad was normal for them, bread sticks were cool and little hard. But when did they stop putting out bread plates? We asked our server for one and we were told they were being washed. I came back with, your restaurant is almost empty, do they only wash the dishes at night? After that exchange, our server when I guess to get us some small plates, instead returned with soup bowls for us to put our bread sticks on.To move on about the pathetic stuff they called soup, we both asked for Zuppa Tuscana. If you strained it, you would have probably have had about a tablespoon and a half to maybe two tablespoons worth of substance. Instead you received a bowl of broth with a very weird taste to it. My wife wouldnt even eat hers it was that bad. Then we both decided to try the chicken gnocchi soup. Usually when we get it its very thick and rich tasting, this time it seemed like they thinned it out with just water and was very bland tasting. So in all we decided to write this one off. What should have been a enjoyable dinner, was disgusting brought on by a server that should not be serving. Buy food that was very subpar, including our second round of breadsticks which were worse than the first ones. It seemed by our servers actions, if you werent going to have a big ticket. You really werent worth their time to wait on.If corporate was smart, they should just close this store and take the loss.I usually dont add anything to any of my comments, but I think this one deserves a add-on. Like tipical corporate BS, lets send out a gift card to make them feel good.Your mission statement:At Olive Garden, we want the experience of warmth and caring to extend beyond our restaurant walls and into every community where we live and serve. And if not, will send you a gift card. Thanks for your slap to my face, hope you enjoyed it.
Sexist waiter. went to hand me the check then immediately took it back and handed it to my guest who i was paying for, after not refilling my empty water for over thirty minutes while my guest had 2 whole sweet teas and was offered a third. not to mention he ignored my request for salt and pepper and my guest had to ask for more breadsticks before we got them. i used to love this olive garden, and haven’t been in a while; i’m surprised and upset.
The food is always good at any olive garden but this is the second time I visited this location & the service is terrible. My server was awful. He acted like he didnt want to greet me. Didnt suggest any specials but suggested them to the table after me. Took forever to get salt & pepper. Then when I asked again he snapped at me. I asked for sauteed onions & mushrooms as hes walking away he says its more expensive but I guess we can do that & continues to walk off as Im still trying to finnish my order. Find out there are no onions in the entire restaurant...yea rite. As Im leaving he forgot my $5 take home h & my dessert I ordered. He rang in 1 forgot to ring in the other & I had to ask again for them & he finally bought it out. I wont be back to this location.
Delicious food! We were greeted quickly and cordially. We were seated quickly regardless of how busy they were (there were only 2 in our party). The waitress that was our server was promptly at our table to take our drink orders and quickly returned with the drinks and immediately took our food order. Her attention to detail was stellar. She was always there to see if we wanted refills. Definitely a great experience....
I have a consistently bad experience picking up food here. From the outside it seems like theres no internal communication. Today I placed an order online around 6:30 for soup and breadsticks, it said the order would be ready at 7:04. I pulled in at exactly 7:04 and called the number listed on the sign. I let them know my order and name and the woman on the phone said it would be right out. 7:15 a waitress brought a meal to the car next to me (they showed up after me by the way) and asked my name and let me know she would go get my order. 7:26 a 2nd waiter stopped by the car and asked me my name and said my order would be right out. 7:32 finally got my order, 30 minutes after I first arrived and called in when they told me to get there. Its super frustrating to have to wait so long when I had already placed the order 30 minutes before arriving. If the woman on the phone had said hey it will be about 30 minutes, hang tight that would have been far preferable to just sitting there waiting and assuming my order would constantly be out in the next 5 minutes. This isnt the first time this has happened to me in the past few months, and I really do try to be understanding but when 4 cars show up after me and get their food before me, when I just have soup and breadsticks its super frustrating.
The food was good, but the customer service needs work!!!! The waiter didnt even check in to ask if we needed more drinks, or wanted more breadsticks, she was in so much hurry. Like a smile on your face wouldve gone a long way!! I wont be dining here for a long time.
I have never had a bad food experience at Olive Garden an today was no exception. Our chicken carbonara was very good. No food experience is any good without excellent service which I credit to our server Carrina. She was pleasant and catered to our needs. A great staff member makes all the difference in a return visit. Thanks to Carrina, we WILL be back!!!
We Never got a Chance to get Seated the Waiter said 10 to 15 minutes for our wait it was 30 minutes later so I asked her & she said they were still cleaning tables but people that came in after us got seated right away so me & my Husband we just left like just forget it☹️
Calamari was disgusting. Took 1 hour and 45 minute to get our food.Management was worthless.Never got refills.I asked for a new server due to our server never coming back. Never interacting and low key rude.He was nice Chetstin was him name Idk how to spell it. Even tho by the time we got him was when our food came. So he only delivered our food and we boxed it up to leave. However due to how young and polite he was I gave him a $25 tip.
Wife and I went to the Dayton Mall Olive Garden after church today. Ordered our meal in the parking lot, paid for it collected it and headed for home, where we found part of her meal missing. I called and spoke with the manager, very understanding and apologized for the error. He offered a gift card to offset the missing parts or we could return and pick up fresh. My wife elected for us to pick up. The manager was generous! Not only did he replace her missing side,He replaced her entire meal AND gave her dessert as well. This kind of customer service and manager response, along with great food, is why I love this restaurant!
The chicken in my alfredo was not good at all! Plus when we asked for the check the waitress and 3 other waitresses stood there and waited for us to pay them! We wasnt trying to pay right away at all, but they made it so uncomfortable we didnt have much of a choice! I would have liked to have finished my drink! We felt so uncomfortable! I dont know if it was because my boyfriend is biracial with tattoos or what! I hate to pull the race card, but damn!! I will never go back! We was treated with absolute nothing but disrespect!
I always enjoy our trips to Olive Garden. We relish every opportunity to bash their bottomless salad and bread sticks, although we had them hold the bread this time to save on the carbs 😂Our service was prompt and friendly, and having the Ziosk at our table means we can order our drinks and appetizers basically right away.My wife and I split an entree and an appetizer and had to take a box home. Shes not much for leftovers but Im looking forward to them tomorrow ☺️We had a one-off issue this trip, where there was a piece of plastic in our salad... The kind of plastic like youd find covering a sealed container of salsa. They quickly swapped out the salad, put a mountain of cheese on it, and we were very pleased.Always recommend Olive Garden!
This was our first time getting curbside at this location. Unfortunately the food tasted like it was either left over from lunch or yesterdays food. We both got the tour of Italy. The lasagna tasted weird, the chicken parmigiana was hard to cut through, and the Alfredo was okay. The breadsticks were also old and hard. The ends of them werent even edible. We even did a 20% tip because we know how much the employees need it. Im just really disappointed. I hope things will get better.
Had a newer server but we barely saw him. This was my last lunch out before quarantining for my son’s birth and it was horrific. I was waiting on a friend and kept getting asked if I was ready.. obviously not I’m waiting on someone. So I ordered a bowl of alfredo to appease him as I was going to get one eventually. It got brought out with no bread and it sat there for 30 minutes until we got our bread. My friend arrived and we ordered. I’m not kidding when I say he got other tables who came after us their salad/soup/bread. We sat there with nothing but that alfredo bowl for minutes after ordering so it was now a cold solid. 20 minutes later our salad, soup, and bread came but we had empty drinks. Our food got dropped off by someone else and our drinks still empty. My fet alfredo had been sitting in the window for sometime and was basically “dead” but I couldn’t even say anything because he never came back. He walked by quickly after attending to his other 2 tables and we asked for drinks and bread. Got drinks but took another 15 and asking one more time to get bread. Never brought our check and boxes. We asked someone else. Sad really. I’m never coming back to this location. It was an empty store and I was the second table in the morning.
I ate here today and the only thing that was good was the wine. The salad was bad, the ravioli appetizer was cold, my Alfredo was greasy and my fiancé’s chicken parmigiana was disgusting. The chicken was that chicken you buy in a bag at the grocery banquet chicken patties. We didn’t eat the food, it wasn’t edible. Sad really, I used to love this place.
The food and customer service was better than it has been over the years. We had a new server who was very chatty and gave tmi about herself, not the conversation I was anticipating over dinner with my family.Service was a little rushed, entree was out before I was half done with my salad and soup. Otherwise, her service was good.Suggest going here during the early week after 7pm.
The girl working the to-go counter when I stopped in a couple weeks ago was fantastic! She made sure everything was in our order, gave us silverware for our meals and for potential leftovers, and even had the kitchen bring out extra bread sticks to make sure we had enough to go with the five-cheese marinara sauce we ordered as an appetizer! I wish I would have gotten her name-- she was fantastic, and the food was good, as always!
Our waitress was amazing. She was always looking out for our table without constantly coming over and bugging us like some waitresses and waiters do. She was very friendly and knew whatnto say and do. She was given a hefyy tio for her service. And lastly the place was extremely clean.
Our waiter was excellent, and the food is always very good. I have Celiac, its nice to go to a restaurant such as this and be able to get a meal for myself. Hopefully Olive Garden will be one of the restaurants it gets more options for those with this disease. My dish was absolutely wonderful cant believe I ate the whole thing.
My boyfriend and I just ate here and I was genuinely blown away. We met the GM, Falony, by happy accident and my boyfriend asked about vegan options to which she was immediately on the ball with. He was made a delicious meal that Falony customized to accommodate a lifestyle choice. My meal was also delicious! Our server, Bryan, was also very friendly and quick with service. We will 100% be back. I left a 3 star review for this establishment two years ago, but since then have been impressed on more than once occasion and am happy to change my review.
Awesome! Bartender mad my drink correctly not to much alcohol not to little either. Food was great. Service was great. Some of the review on here are terrible reviews dont listen to them. You come here for decently priced food and lots of it. If you expect fine dining you will spend 50-100$ a plate.
Service was just okay. Our waitress was not overly friendly or helpful. When my father tried to order soda water she would only offer Pellegrino until I arrived and knew that they had it available from the soda fountain. Food was likewise kind of blah. The sauce wasnt especially flavorful. Basically it was just a very mediocre experience.
This review is not about the food. Ordered curbside pickup, sat in parking lot waiting for about 30 minutes. Observed patrons in and out of the building. The number of people going in and coming out of the restaurant not wearing masks was staggering. If you want unlimited bread sticks with a side of Covid, this is your spot.
I will never go to this Restaurant again. Time after Time I am disappointed by service and quality. Two vital elements when dining out.We arrived at 6:10 this evening, our server took a long time to get our beverage order. Once we ordered our beverages it took about 10 minutes for them to come out. Keep in mind, the place wasnt too busy and other servers were seen and working multiple tables accurately. We finally ordered our food around 6:25, ours didnt come out till 6:40~, we asked for extra dressing. 6:50 our food comes out and still, no extra dressing. Looks like our food was sitting under a heat lamp. Alfredo sauce was beginning to separate, noodles looked dried out broccoli was cold. Calamari was warm, but not hot or fresh looking.I sent back the Alfredo immediately.7:10 I requested to speak with a manager I still didnt have my food. At 7:20 the manager Jessica retrieved my fresh, just made food. I left with itto go. I refused to pay my bill.I will never go back, even if you buy my dinner for a week. There is nothing this place can do to win me over. Consumers beware!!!
My family and I were there on 10/25/17 and just wanted to say that the Host team was amazing! Sarah was amazing! She was right there and we were seated quickly! I felt she had a very genuine smile and joked with us on the way back to the table, setting a wonderful tone for our visit. The rest of our visit was topical. Food was good, bread sticks were a bit old, but we got a fresh basket. On our way out the Hostess, Sarah, was sure to give eat of our children stickers for Being good in the restaurant! as she had promised when they came in (one of hem was a little grumpy, but cheered up at the promise of a sticker). Just because of this one hostess, our whole experience went from topical to wonderful!
Place is a real dump!!! Haven’t been to an Olive Garden for quite some time but thought we would try it. Showed up with my family, 2 adults, 3 kids and the young guy us we had to wait 10-15 minutes however the restaurant is fairly empty on a Wednesday night at 5:30pm and when questioned he told us in a smug tone that they have to balance the servers but multiple 2’s went right through. We were then lead to our table and our server Jessica was outstanding and very pleasant which put me in a better mood. It’s been a while like I said and I found the food was mediocre at best but came out slow. Then, and this is the best another server dropped a salad at another table and just left it there for 15 minutes until they left.... funnier even still, it was ANOTHER server who cleaned it up, not the one who dumped it. We’ve decided that this is the last time we will visit an Olive Garden, outside of our server Jessica, this place was a dump!!!
You can see on the map we arrived at Lois Circle at 2:37 and pulled into olive garden. The restaurant was nice and clean. Staff seemed good. We waited around 10 to 15 minutes for a waitress to come and get a drink order took about 10 minutes to get our Waters and when time which time we placed our order. My husband chose chicken parmesan and I chose unlimited soup salad and breadsticks both off of the lunch menu which is the only one we were given. in just a few minutes she brought our salads out. It seemed forever before she brought the chicken parmesan and my bowl of soup. She seemed reluctant to bring us more salad come on we had to ask for our breadsticks. Didnt see her again until we flagged on another server and ask for a check. And we were charged dinner prices because she had taken so long to take our orders and actually put them in that they werent put in until almost quarter after 3 making a dinner price. Not at all happy with the service or the price. I would have gotten an entree for a few more dollars than pay $12 for 2 saucers of salad and one bowl of soup! Would have asked for the manager about the table next to us have spent the past 20 minutes complaining about the same server and we were not going to bother him or excuse ourselves to say something about our experience. Wont go back
We had an awesome experience tonight at Olive Garden. Our wait was not that long for a party of 7. Our waiter was Aaron and he made sure our glasses were full, breadsticks never were empty and we had as much cheese as we could possibly want. (And we love cheese!) We had a large party and he was able to accommodate and made sure we were comfortable. He helped to make our dinner experience a good one! Thanks!
Olive Garden is pretty good mid tier Italian food, you already kinda know what youre getting into as far as that goes. This particular location though is a very good Olive Garden, some of the best service Ive gotten at any of their restaurants. We always order a weird salad and theyve never gotten it wrong, and theyre always good at any special accommodations.Lunchtime gets pretty busy, but if you get there before noon its easy to get seated immediately, but 12:30-2:00 can get hectic.
The food was great. Our waitress was trying to rush us to order though, which was extremely irritating, since Friday eating out after work is supposed to be, and should be relaxing. I only had 2 bites of my appetizer bf she wanted us to order the meal, and the 2nd time she returned(about 5 min later), we still werent quite ready to order, and she actually made a little huff sound and said, OH, my Goodness and walked away. She had the nerve to give me a dirty look as she went by, and at that moment, I decided if she did one more thing, I was asking to speak to the manager. NOT my idea of a fun, relaxingFriday evening out. BTW, we spent about 70 bucks, and left a nice tip, despite her huffiness. P.S.The young lady who seated us, and the young lady who brought our food out was very nice.
The only thing that made this visit even a 2 star was our waiter of it wasnt for his excellent service it would have gotten no stars at all. We asked for extra olives in our salad I think there might have been 2 all together. We only got the lunch soup and salad and breadsticks and after the salad we waited for over a half and hour for our soup both of the tables beside us got their stuff before us and we were there first. Our soup was cold and my granddaughters mac and cheese was so dried up from sitting under the laps it was hard. Just reminded me why I usually dont eat at olive garden.
This... this was 1 of the worst experiences I have ever had. For starters the waitress didnt introduce herself, still dont know her name, took forever for our drinks. We FINALLY placed food order. Waited on salad and bread sticks and a drink refill for about 15 minutes or so. Food comes out, my wifes food was nowhere what she ordered. Sent it back... maybe 15-20 minutes later out unnamed waitress comes back to check on food. She can tell Im displeased, gets the order fixed. Brings it out. The table next to me and my table both asked multiple times for a drink refill... finally we get it. It was just horrible. This may have ruined olive garden for me in general. I would not recommend going there to ANYONE!
Service is quick and great. The salad and breadsticks were great as always. I had the braised beef and tortellini, which was rather bland and the pasta was overcooked. I like that you can pay by card with the tabletop kiosk which makes paying much faster especially if it is a busy night.
Online ordered from this location, normally order from Beavercreek store. The pick up order was supposed to be ready at 7:40. Wife arrived at 7:40 they said they lost our order. So they remade it so she waited till almost 8:15 for the food to be ready. The salads were supposed to be no olives when we began eating the salads only had lettuce and Olives. The food tasted like normal but they seem to have problems with service. Also no discount was offered by the manager
So unbelievably disappointed in this particular location. Ordered curbside pickup on Tuesday June 2,2020. The girl who came out to give my husband the food had the nerve to ask for a tip. A tip for what? You did nothing but walk a bag of food out to my car which is part of your job. So much entitlement. I will never spend, another dime at this location.
I’ve visited this Olive Garden location on three separate occasions; with a group of 6, with my significant other, and for a professional meeting. Each visit to this location was terrible. With the group of 6, the food quality was atrocious and time to table was extremely long. The wait was so long and quality of food so poor, in fact, that the manager discounted the entire table without having to place a personal grievance. With my significant other, we were sat without silverware and failed to receive it until after inquiring about it on four separate occasions following the appetizers and bread sticks, as we did not receive our salads. On my final visit to this location for a professional meeting, we ended up leaving after appetizers because it took longer than 45 minutes for the waiter to return, upon which they inquired why we hadn’t received our food yet. To say the least, I will not be returning to this location.
I have always ordered my marketing lunches from Olive Garden and they have always took our company check well today they chose not to after they’ve been for about five years. A lot of businesses don’t have corporate credit cards so today they lost my business. And in my large order they did not provide plates napkins or plastic ware.
Ordered eggplant Parmesan, but was served chicken Parmesan instead. There was also a hair in my food. Service was what you’d expect, but the restaurant didn’t seem as clean as it should be. Not the worst dining experience, but definitely left feeling underwhelmed and like we could have gotten more value for our money someplace else.
This location has a much nicer presentation to it than some others in the area, and the service provided is exceptional. The food was good, but certain items have been taken off the condensed menu, limiting the options a bit. The value is also a little lacking with certain items, but overall, Id recommend this location for a nice dinner with friends and family.
Everything was perfect even though it was Valentines Day at lunch time! The parking lot was full and amazingly there was no wait. We enjoyed the warmed to perfection Zuppa Toscana soup consisting of sausage, potatoes and kale in a light cream broth with the Olive Garden salad and perfectly warm garlicky bread sticks. The service was perfect with as much fresh grated cheese as desired. There is more to explore, but the tried and true was delightful. Recommend checking the internet for price specials, etc. Also the electronic device on the table was easy to use, so the bill was paid at the table. Enjoy!
We had a lovely lunch yesterday and my now fiance popped the question thanks to the team there helping out. The only upsetting thing is the manager (I believe she was), although lovely and very kind was unsuccessful in getting the pictures sent to us. Not sure if it was a cellphone issue or what but she took both of our phone number and emails and both of us have failed to receive those memories
Sadly this will be the last time we visit this Olive Garden. Had a 15-20 minute wait when there were tons of empty tables. Ordered the chicken Parmigiana and the chicken tastes like rubber, they replaced my meal. Brought out the replaced chicken and it still tasted like rubber, I couldn’t even cut my knife through it. Overall just nasty. This location needs to get it together
I took my son and grandson here for a late afternoon lunch. The salad was okay but lacking dressing. My chicken parmesan was terrible, it was deep fried frozen chicken patty with some cheese melted on top. I had them remake my order which ended up a to go order. I shared this with my brother and he made the same comment about the chicken. My son got a lasagna to go and he called me the next day saying that it was horrible. They did comp my chicken parmesan but I wouldnt feed it to a dog. Theres more I could say but why bother we will not go to Olive garden again. P.S. I did leave my server a nice tip as it is not there fault the food is not consumable.
Olive Garden generally has the typical Italian chain restaurant food...although I miss the days when they made their pasta fresh. Anyway, the food here is generally good, but the service has consistently been slow. We have tried other Greater Dayton Olive Garden locations, and for whatever reason...the service at this particular location is slow and sporadic.During our last visit (3/5/2019) we waited about 8 minutes before our server first showed up. Then 10+ minutes for a glass of water. Once we placed our order it took another 10+ minutes for the salad and bread sticks to arrive. The positive part was that my wife and I were out together so we didnt mind the time together. Buon appetito
Wow ! I’m impressed . The server Colin was so nice and went above and beyond ! The chicken Alfredo with shrimp was the best meal I have ever had and my surprise birthday desert was amazing ! I would like to come here more often. Thanks for making my birthday experience the best !
First I would like to say these 5 stars are here only because of our server Aaron and general manager Stacey. Heres what happen, we came in for lunch and asked for a booth, we were told there was no booths available, we were ok with that and agreed on a table near a window, as we walk through the restaurant passing booth after booth we question one of the hostess why we couldnt have one of those booths, she said theres no server for the booths but all the booths and tables around it had people with server...........confused....yes we were.....she seem to have a attitude about it and gave it to us........wasnt happy about it.......have no clue why..............now about the good......the bar server we got Aaron was great, very friendly, great personality, we highly recommend him. The general manager Stacey was very helpful, and understanding, one of the best Managers we have come into contact with. Oh yeah the herb-salmon was the bomb needed a little salt but worth it.
Portion sizes are not what they used to be. Maybe 30% of what they used to be and the prices are higher. Not a very good value for the money. They also dont have coupons often anymore like they used to. Food is not enough for a meal so fill up on breadsticks and salad. Also they dont bring salad until you order anymore which is understandable, but shows they dont trust the customer and the company is only out for itself.
We dined at the Olive Garden at 2789 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459 on 10/6/2020. I had fettuccine alfredo and my husband had steak and alfredo. My dish had plenty of alfredo. My husbands steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was Kiffen and he was an EXCELLENT server. The restaurant was beautiful and very clean. A very enjoyable experience!!!

2022-05-08Worst experience on mothers day. Over a hr wait, get inside and half the restaurant is empty (can not be blamed on COVID spacing as most tables were seated side by side). For how slow the service is they are over staffed, Im talking 5 servers in a area large enough for 3 tops. Now lets move on to the food.... If you look at the photos that is a rotten onion that was pulled out of our soup that tasted moldy. When brought to management nothing was done other than giving us a little over $5 off of each $6.99 soup that we barely ate before finding that bad onion in it.

2022-03-15I love the pasta here & I love the steak however each time I order it, it’s under cooked. I ask for well done no pink however as you see it’s always medium well. Unless your eating in the restaurant & can send it back to have them make a new one I wouldn’t bother if a picky eater. When I called the manager didn’t ask what they issue really was or how she planned to coach her team to correct the issue as I indicated this wasn’t the first time just we can credit your card if you like. What I would like is to place an order for my steak & be able to know that when I make it home to eat it @ the bare minimum it’s going to be cooked to the standard in which I requested.

2022-03-03Great staff, friendly service! Especially quick serving of food if you know your order when you first sit down like we did. Wait staff was on the ball and attentive but not overbearing. Food was hot and fresh and delicious! Since we ate on a budget that day, we shared all our dishes and they were more than accommodating to divide our meals accordingly and help us choose our meals to stay under budget. Very pleased with our visit!

2022-01-11At about 4:30 P M today we visited the Centerville, Ohio Olive Garden. Our Check # is 29153. We had to wait 3o minutes to be seated because they only had TWO servers but THREE girls at the front acting as hostess. We asked for a booth and walked past two of them on the way to the table we were escorted too. Our waiter was so busy talking to the people at another table, that we had to call to him to get his attention. As we sat waiting to be seated we witnessed a family of five, and two couples turn and leave because of the wait to be seated. I have NEVER experienced this kind of serve at an Olive Garden before and I am not sure if I will ever return.

2022-06-11The wait staff really shined at the restaurant. Were able to handle our big group with ease. While I skipped dessert, the rest of my group raved about theirs.

2022-02-11We went to Olive Garden for a date night. Were looking forward to it as we had not been there for quite a while. It was awful! Service slow to begin with, but we took that in stride since lots of places are short handed right now. My husbands food was a very small portion, thrown onto the plate in a very sloppy fashion. In addition, it was burned - cheese from lasagna was burned crispy on the plate. He told the server, and she did not even offer to get a manager, or to take his meal off our bill. So we spent almost $50- for an awful meal. Next time we want Italian, we will go to Fazolis. Less expensive and the food is always at least edible.

2022-03-18Food was delicious! 1st experience was bad, the server never even gave me water and i had to hunt down the table-ware. My second experience, Corina (the server) was AWESOME!!! 10 stars for her!!! She was so kind, friendly, and an overall great server!

2022-02-08Tried to make a reservation for 5 days from now for 15 people or reserve a room. Willing to pay a deposit. Talked with Manager and was turned away saying they wont take a reservation due to staffing issues. Even though its 5 days before and that gives them plenty of time to line up employees for that day. I guess they are doing so well they dont need my business ......
