Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Jessica the Bartender is hands down the BEST. We were.going to leave because not one server came to our table to greet us or even acknowledge us so we were trying to get a manager to tell them that nobody greeted us so we went to the bar tender and asked her to get the manager. She asked if there was anything she could do for us we told Jessica what happened she said please to sit down here at the bar and I will take great care of you and she was already busy with other guests but she she still made the time to make us feel welcomed and talked us into not leaving. The drinks she made us were AMAZING. The food took a while to come out but she made everyone at the bar Happy by constantly bringing everyone bread salad talking with everybody . It was actually a very pleasant experience I didnt think I would like eating my meal up at the bar but I will definitely come back and sit at the bar. If it wasnt for her I would have left and gave this place a one-star rating , but left here happy and giving you guys a five-star rating thanks Jessica!!!
Our servers were Alex and Josh and they were just absolutely amazing. Josh came over and had me and my friends cracking up and just had an extremely friendly and amazing personality. His laugh clearly lit up the room and was so fun to be around and easy to talk to. Alex was our waitress and she again was very friendly. She was so kind and was very caring of what we wanted there and was a perfect example of how a waitress should be. She gave our food extremely fast and was very helpful. At the end me and my friends talked to her for awhile and she was so geniunely nice. I really really enjoyed my experience with these two waitresses and they left me very satisfied with their ability to be so friendly and making me in my friends laugh, but not only that being very helpful and getting what we needed done efficiently and fast. It’s hard to find these two incredible people nowadays and i’m glad we had such a good experience.
My husband and I had a wonderful time tonight. It wasnt real crowded so we were seated right away and the staff up front were very friendly. The restaurant was clean in all areas (floors, tables, chairs and the restroom was clean and stocked). My husband had the chicken marsala which he thoroughly enjoyed. We dont like dry pasta and his meal came with plenty on the pasta and chicken. I had chicken parmigiana and plenty of sauce on both. We couldnt have asked for a better server. Very polite and efficient, he kept up with all his tables needs in a timely manner. And he caught on to my jokes from the get go, even the fungus foot in the mouth joke. Im going to try to post the picture of it. So I want to say a big thank you to Kody for helping make our dining experience a wonderful one.
Ordered chicken parmesan and salad, dinner was served in a timely manner and hot. Very tasty. Our server Traye was amazing, made the dining experience perfect. He was very attentive to our order and anything else we needed. We will definitely return soon and will ask for him.
Our waitress was awesome. Our food was disgusting. My wife and kids got their meals, and I had to wait another half hour to get mine. They were already done eating by the time my food came out. This place has went downhill considerably. I will never eat there again. What a waste of money
Our server Jess was spectacular. She has serving down to an art. Very efficient, attentive and incredibly helpful...she provided customer service at the highest level. We will dine there again, but will be sure to be seated in her section. Recommend this Olive Garedn location to everyone.
The food was mild/poorly spiced. I ordered the 5 cheese ziti. I was denied placing an order 1hr and 36 min before they were closed. They were not busy and the roads were clear. It wasn’t until I walked in and found the manager before I learned I could place an order and that the current staff were acting out of policy. The manager I interacted with was on her game and was visiting from another location at the time. This has been my experience twice at this location. I wonder why the current manager lets this behavior slide.
Staff was really nice however there were some things I wasn’t fond of as far as service and overall cleanliness. My waiter again was very nice but I did notice she kept touching her hair while fixing drinks etc. There was hair on one of our plates. Tables around us were dirty like I literally watched the girl who was bussing tables half clean the area where there were little kids seated. Our food was ok but not the best. We were very patient but it seems like our waiter was overwhelmed because she kind of forgot what we ordered(she played it by ear). I did also notice a group that came 20mins after us received their food before us again which is fine. My daughters noodles were very hard and my cocktail wasn’t made properly. They did reimburse my daughters food for us but I do feel like the staff should tighten up on cleanliness and appearance. Wash hands clean tables don’t touch your hair while prepping or dealing with food etc.
The hostess was very rude and very difficult.I asked if there was a wait and she just stared at me and asked for my name and number. I asked again if there was a wait and approximately how long, considering I had my 2yr old grand daughter, she replied have a seat and we will let you know. The waitress was great, the bus boy and the 2 other bus boys walked right pass the trash on the floor, my table was still dirty and the floor was disgusting. I use to really enjoy going there with family and having a good meal. I will not go back to the one in the falls ever again. Just gross.
Was seated and waited for someone to come and take our order. 15 min later noone came over they seated tables around us took there drink orders and food orders.I understand being short staffed but this is unacceptable. They where able to seat and wait on tables after We where seated. Oh and could only say sorry it happens really??
Was not impressed by this location. Half the tables in the restaurant were empty. We added ourself to the waitlist on our way and it said 30 minute wait. Once we got to the restaurant and checked in it took another 30 minutes before we were seated. This was at 7pm. There were 5 hostess at the host stand arguing about what order they were getting off and ignoring customers. The only person we saw hustling was the girl doing curbside delivery. When we were seated the hostess didn’t even give us silverware. You have 5 hostess and they still can’t do their job. The breadsticks were not the same, they looked like the cheap breadsticks you buy in the store. They were not good. Drink refills were basically not existent. The server cleared my husband and sons plates but not mine or our sons fiancés. I had to make her take my empty soup bowl. The soup refill for my son and husband never arrived until we were about done with our entrees. Our entrees had been sitting under the heat lights so long the noodle were dried out and hard and the Alfredo separated. We did not send it back because we had already been waiting over an hour for our food. We got the never ending Alfredo for our breadsticks. We asked for another serving and some more breadsticks for the table as we were packing up our entrees because we wanted to eat it there. Because we got very few refills of anything because the waitress barely visited our table. She brought the breadsticks wrapped in foil and a to go container with the Alfredo sauce. There was less than a 1/4 cup of Alfredo sauce in the container. I guess she wanted us to leave. Then to top it off, she charged us another 3.99 for the Alfredo, even though we had the endless. She had me pay the bill on the table top machine and I wanted a printed receipt and it printed out a blank piece of paper. She never came back and I didn’t get any type of receipt. Forgot to mention I also had a whole stack of dirty dishes sitting in front of me . Horrible experience!
Ok... Had calamari which was not good. The soup, salad and bread sticks were just ok. Salad lacked dressing, bread sticks were not fresh and soup was good, not great. Second time we have been there in the last few months and have not had a good experience. Probably would not go back.
I ordered what looked like grilled scampi, this was a to go and I will admit it’s been several years since we’ve eaten at Olive Garden. The scampi basically dimmed to be warmed small shrimp something I’d use for shrimp cocktail if I were to serve very small shrimp. The sauce was awful and I’m not a picky person. It had so much of something citrusy in it I couldn’t even eat it. It was like a hit of lemon it was just so bad I couldn’t even eat it. If I had decided to eat at the restaurant I would have sent it back for a different dish. I’m definitely not happy n will not order this dish again. So with that said, the Chick Parmigiana was good along with the breadsticks and salad. This makes me said to write but that dish needs to change. It’s like the cook had no idea what sauce he was making or how. Maybe a new cook? 🥲
For the love of God please find a better bartender. She is constantly drinking on the job, gossiping about customers, and does a great job of pretending to be busy while not doing much of anything except constantly asking other staff to do for her what shes too busy to do. How do you have only two people sitting at the bar waiting on drinks for 40 minutes but your sitting on your phone. I wish this was only once! Its been myself 3 times and with three other individuals on separate occasions!! She is absolutely HORRIBLE. She might be dive bar material but should not work anywhere that has standards or even the smallest bit of class because she has none!
I wanted to badly to give it a decent review even based on them being short staffed on fathers day. Took 45 minutes to get an appetizer which was ok because our waitress continued to come check on us. After an hour we decided to just take our food home when it came to us. Just decided to eat my meal to find out chicken and shrimp carbonara according to this location doesnt include shrimp. This is now the 2nd time this place has failed on my order, the last one they forgot half our food on a to go order.
Was our first trip back there since Covid, decided to stop in since they werent busy at all. The food was really good, came out hot and the server was on point! We ordered Stuffed Shells with grilled chicken and Lasagna. Customers were distanced, cleaning taking place and masks were worn so was happy to see that. We really enjoyed our lunch, awesome as usual!
Third visit that my coffee was not hot! I love the coffee & its a big reason I go there. Yes, I have asked for hotter coffee, but it still came back the same. Those metal pots they give you are useless, they dont even seal tightly & heat escapes! Im taking a break from OG for a while!
So we got seat after 25 minutes on Sunday evening at 6:00. We didn’t get our food until 7:45!!!The waitress kept bring salad and breadsticks snd apologizing for the kitchen being slow.During this time we watched dozens of to go orders pass us by.There was a crash of dishes at 6:15. We were told at the very end that it was our food. I’m thinking the waitress didn’t reorder the food? Looking around EVERYONE was loaded up with salad it became comical to a point. When our food did come, our original waitress/ salad girl accidentally burnt her hand and another waitress stepped in to help her out. That’s when things took a turn for the better.Kudos to waitress Jay ( Jayonna) seriously after a hour and a half the food was served the drinks were filled the soup was coming. Jay did a stand up job!! She was so nice and upbeat we forgot all the time we waited. Seeing her running around and getting the job done was really cool she had taken over or was helping our waitress snd she really stepped up. We really appreciated how the night ended on a better note.Jayonnas a rockstar!!Attention Megan at Howe Rd location cuy falls
The waitress we had had a horrible attitude with our table and all of her other tables. The manager had to talk to one of the other tables. My gf and I have both been having stomach issues since we ate here. Gf never got what she asked for. Save your money and go somewhere else
I used to love coming here after a hard days work to sit at the bar and eat diner. I thought at first I caught them at a bad time. However after being treated like I didnt matter the last 5 times Ive been there is just disappointing. I work in the automotive industry and know technicians making the minimum wage who are friendlier and more engaging with customers than these slackers. It is as if I dont even exist to them. There will be 5 servers hanging out around the bar talking loudly while the 1 bartender makes the entire resteraunts drinks before even taking my order or acknowledging my existence. Making new drink orders before even taking my order after I have been sitting there for 20 minutes. I didnt get a salad until after 35-40 minutes of sitting there. How difficult is it to walk back to the kitchen and bring out a salad? The resteraunt was half empty with only 1 other person in the bar area. I know I probably dont look like a big spender seeing as I come in after work with a t-shirt, shorts and a ball cap but this isnt exactly an upscale resteraunt. I always tip 20% regardless of the service. Whoever manages this place should teach their employees to have respect for the business and its customers. Some of laziest and rude staff I have ever seen.
Im sorry but our experience there this past Saturday was 1 of the worst. The lasagna was all right but the shrimp was cold and overcooked. We literally had to ask for everything instead of it being on our table like silverware and a drink. She brought all of our food at once which includes appetizers, salad, bread and dinner. Never going back...
The service I had today was so mediocre. Like almost below mediocre. When we walked in we sat at the bar. When we sat down, it took what felt like forever to even get noticed. I would say at least 7 minutes and there was only one other person at the bar and she had bar back help. She was not attentive really. I felt like she was serving us because she had to. She wasnt rude, just seemed to not care. The food was just... thats all... just. Not good, not bad, just. And in that one picture was a bowl of soup that sat there empty the whole time we were eating. She didnt clear there space at all. My dirty salad plate was there also. It was just below average service and it couldve been way better.
Workers could smile more love to see them big smiles 😃when going out to spend money our waitress was nice, food= didnt get what i asked for for $20.00 not enough sauce and asked for it Silverware was dirty. It happens! all in all i used to love olive garden now uhhh i need to see improvment.
OMGOODNESS!! My husband and I got the soup, salad, and breadsticks. The salad was soggy, not a crisp piece of lettuce to be found. The breadsticks were so salty. Two of four soups were not available. The pasta faguli was gross, made with ground beef, and had no flavor other than tomato. The building smelled stuffy and mildew-y. And the server was a little scatter brained.
Unfortunately it appears nobody wants to work anymore so our server was certainly overworked. As a result our food was very subpar. It had been sitting under a heat lamp for some time hurting the quality of everything.I certainly cant blame the server and I am sure management would hire more if they could
Gave this location a second try. Ended up being worse. The lasagna was burnt and inedible again. This time also received subpar service. Took 15 minutes just to get 2 glasses of water. Had to ask to get more. Not sure if the server was busy in another part of the store but the 2 tables and ours saw very little of him.Old review:Food not very good. Both dinners inedible. Only gave it 4 star because the server and both mangers tried to make it right. They did not charge us for the salad and breadsticks we did eat. They also gave us a gift certificate to try them again. It was a bit of a distance to eat at this location. We will use the gift card and rate them on that meal. Lets hope they can serve the food we know they are capable of serving.
Great food and quick excellent service! Our waiter was super nice. He asked us about our salads...how much cheese. We also received refills without even asking! I had lasagna. It was good. The best dessert was the layered lasagna brownie cheese cake! I will definitely go back to this Olive Garden!
I took my mom out to eat and I had a very great experience by not only the service but management as well. Compliments to the chef as well.. the food was excellent. The price of everything was definitely well worth it. I believe that this place has a lot of potential!
Worst restaurant experience ever! The server took his time to come around to the table. It took forever for us to get our appetizers/entrees(wasnt even busy). I ordered the shrimp scampi, the shrimp was okay, but everything else was bland. My buddy ordered a steak medium rare, and they gave it to him well done. His noodles were also undercooked. I felt very sick after eating their food, I couldnt even drive us home. The server never even came back to give us extra take home boxes, I had to walk up to get them myself. The place was also very dusty. Also extremely expensive for the worst food ever. Never going back! ZERO STARS!!!
VERY slow service. My food was very good. But my nephew got the smallest tour of Italy I have ever seen. Half the normal size, and it looked like it sat in the window 15 mins. We constantly had to ask for things. First it was silverware, then refills multiple times, and so on. It was not a good experience. I probably wont come back to this specific OG.
The food does not taste as good as it was in the past. It seems like the salad gets a few drops of dressing now.I know America has a staffing problem but we could not get refills on drinks because our waitress never made it back around. Positive is we understood and gave her a 15% tip.
Food was delicious even tho they brang wrong food but i ended up getting what i ordered. And my server was 2nd day on job and he did great Mikie was great And he was busy and people need to be patient. As people you need to relax and let your servers serve you.And if mistake is made oh well it will be corrected and we all make mistakes.Olive Garden i will return came from wayne county. Thank you. MIKE
Completely pathetic! The only edible part of the meal was the breadsticks and salad. No plastic ware was included, but was requested.Ordered the chicken marsala entree, what a disappointment, no sauce on the chicken and the fettuccine was dry AF!Congratulations, FU! YOUR FOOD SUCKS!
This is my second to-go order in the last month. The first one, I didnt really have any issues except all the lettuce in my salad was red and wilted, but I blamed it on trying to eat it the next day. My ravioli also only had 4 pieces in the dinner, but I figured that was just the portion size. Not this time. My daughters kids meal of shrimp Alfredo, still had the poop hanging off and the trails on some of the shrimp. Every single side of broccoli that we ordered is rotted. The salad, was once again rotted. My mushroom ravioli had way more pieces this time, but multiple pieces only had ONE mushroom in them and nothing else. I get this is a crappy chain Italian restaurant, but I expect better than rotted food. If it wasnt my kids nap time, I would drive back now to get my money back. This will all be going in the garbage.
Worse experience in my life, I love olive garden but this location was horrible. Took over 10mins to be asked what would we like to drink, never got any refills and my drink was empty before entrees even came. My food was very dry and noodles were very hard. What a waste of 40 bucks
Michaela was a very kind and pleasant server. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and since theyve changed the entree, its been very salty. I also liked the roasted potatoes much better than the very dry Alfredo. I keep ordering it in hopes it wont be salty. Bring back the potatoes and the old recipe! My friend ordered the Chicken Alfredo and loved it. Again, Michaela was a joy to have as our server.
Waitress was new and could not explain early dinner specials to us so due to time constraints, we missed out on getting the deal. The tossed house salad was served in huge chunks. Looked more like a wedge, than a tossed salad. Its called Olive Garden yet there were only two lonely olives in the bowl. My meal was so small I thought they brought me a dirty dinner plate! No wonder it only had 650 calories! One of my husbands forks had all three tines bent in different directions! Such a sad dining experience!
Waited 35 minutes on a Wednesday at 8 PM for a table. Then had waited an additional 20 minutes just to get waters, nothing for my toddler still... The girl said she didnt know she had our table! My kid is freaking out the whole time and Im sure the other customers loved sitting and watching this while trying to enjoy their meal. We left and wont be back to this location.
Restaurant was clean. Our Server was pleasant. Always liked this location, until today. The breadsticks were cold so we asked for more. The second batch were barely room temperature. The Chicken Gnochi Soup had 1 piece of chicken and 3 little gnochi. The Chicken Marsala was flavorless and the mushroom wine sauce had 1 small sliver of mushroom in it. The chicken itself was very chewy/rubbery. So disappointed in the quality. Would not have minded the hour wait once we were at the table had the food been good.
Daughter and grandkids had to wait o er an hour for food that had been remade 4 times and was still burnt. When asked to speak with the manager her solution was give a free desert. Food was not good and cold will never go back there again. A few days later the gm called she was super sweet she spent a good 10-15 minutes on the phone with me. Talked about what had happened and to my surprise she made it rite. So she restored my faith in people. So now I will give them another try.
Went on a Friday around 5. No wait time. But she put our party in the middle of the freaking dining area. I dont like being on display when I eat and we were dead center of the whole room and I thought I requested a booth. Salad and breadsticks were excellent as usual but my order was wrong and I didnt say anything til my bill came and realized she charged me for it but I didnt get it. I ordered the create your own pasta with grilled chicken. She brought me the pasta but without chicken. I forgot til my bill showed the extra charge but by then I was over it. So i dont know it was my fault for not bringing it up but it was her fault for not putting the grilled chicken on my dish to begin with. Will not be back.
11/1/2021 6:30 pm We ordered to go and when my wife pulled into her parking space to pick up our order , She called the number ON THE SIGN as we always do and it rang unanswered for a FULL 5 MINUTES ! She screen shot the phone timer call to show me because she could not understand how that number could just ring for a full 5 minutes. She called back and someone answered and while she sat there past our time , other orders were carried out to cars and when the order was finally brought out it was a long time past the FOOD READY TIME and we live less than 5 minutes away and our dinners were VERY COLD ! We could have just bought grocery store frozen dinners for $4 each and heated them and saved $34 . We also have watched the PORTION SIZES get SMALLER and SMALLER over the last year or so while the PRICES get HIGHER and HIGHER ! We always HAD great service in the past visits but I doubt we will be returning.
Our experience was not good. Poor service, lack of employee training, lack of customer service. Really bad. Remember us?... The customer?... The people actually paying your paycheck and tips? Yeah. Not at this location. It is obvious that they are getting sub-par employees right now. Feels like a cultural thing throughout this location. Bringing a new definition to WT. Too many things to list. Almost tragically comical by the time we left. Wont be back.
I went out with my friends for my birthday dinner and it was a very memorable experience. Our party of 9 was quickly seated, though we did have a reservation. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive, and helped everyone perfectly through out the night. For the amount of food that was ordered I feel like it came out very quickly, and was all very good, as everyone was happy with everything that came out. I was even sung happy birthday and treated to a desert on the house. The only gripe of the entire night was one person said they had their steak cooked differently then they requested, but everyone else at the table just believed they were being picky, so I would give the night an 11/10.
Would give zero stars if able. Down right dirtiest restaurant Ive ever experienced. Table, seats covered in crumbs and grated cheese. Half wall of booth grease/food splattered. Half wall ledge dust thick enough to write your name. Worst Olive Garden experience ever folks. Oh, forgot to mention the dead flies on wall ledge. Can only imagine whats going on in the back of the house.
We walked in and gave our names, was told the wait would be 20 minutes. As we waited we used the facilities. I have never experienced such a disgusting restroom at an Olive Garden before. My wife indicated the same for the womens. After waiting for much longer than 20 minutes we decided to leave. We actually made it to another restaurant, been seated for 15 minutes before we were told our table was ready via text. It had been a total of 75 minutes. Very disappointing experience, glad we went somewhere else.
Ellie was our server. By far the best service we ever had at Olive Garden! She is phenomenal! Very quick to greet us and bring our drinks. Very friendly and attentive. She asked if we needed things before we even thought about asking (refills, breadsticks). She has a bubbly personality and that is just one of the many reasons we will be back. Of course we will ask for her. I will tell all my friends to do the same. The company is lucky to have Ellie!
Always a happy time with family. Love some endless salad and breadsticks before I get my huge hunk of lasagna, that I never have room for. We always go home full with leftovers. We love the seasonal drink menus and specials for whatever occasion we happen to be visiting. Use the app to reserve your spot in (virtual) line so you never have to wait to long to get to your table of Olive Garden goodness! Thanks for all the memories over the years.
We had such a great time. Our 25 minute wait was 10. And then our server, Dustin, ended up getting four tables at once and still managed to make sure we were well taken care of. Food came out amazing, service was fantastic.. will definitely be requesting him on our next trip in!!
Amazing Carry Out Service on 4/6/21 ! 5 Stars on this order....It included everything as ordered and all portions were proper . Food was ready when promised and was greeted promptly upon arrival with order rushed out to the car with-in 4 minutes . Everything was hot and well prepared too. I am so amazed only because I have had a few horrible experiences at this location and had not been back in a few years but maybe new management or something because they sure are doing something right now and we will keep coming back ! A+++++++++
All the food was amazing and so good and fresh! It was super convenient to pay at the table using my credit card by using their machine on each and every table, so you dont have to wait for the bill, you can even apply a tip to it. Friendly, happy staff!! We will be going back, it was more than we can eat and so delicious 🥰
I dont know how this slop house got even two stars. I took my wife to lunch there and it was the worst service, worst food and prices are ridiculous for the garbage they put on our table. Waited forever to be completely disappointed. I wouldnt take a homeless person there to get them food. I think it was food. This place sucked.
The food was amazing, even after we took it home and heated it up because it took too long to get to us. It wasnt server it was the 4738292826389 curbside orders backing up the kitchen. We did get free dessert to go, and my wife said keep the change on our $60 check and I paid with a $100 lol, pay it forward I guess.
Our food took forever to come out, and when it did it had obviously been sitting under heat lamps for a long time. The noodles were all crispy, the chicken was overdone on top, and it wasnt even edible. When we told the manager we didnt have time to wait for replacement food, and that we werent paying for food we couldnt eat, he just said Thanks for letting me know. and then scattered away with his tail between his legs. Not even so much as a sorry.
One of the best restaurants in area with exceptional cleanliness and server Skylar a very personable, helpful and truly friendly person. Hopefully we will be able to eat in restaurant and enjoy a total experience. Food done to perfection. Love ability to choose pasta, sauce and meat.
Soup was cold. Appetizers was amazing. Please tell corporate to bring back the old menu. Downsizing was cute during the plandemic, but everything is getting back to a more normal and so should your menu. All my favorites were gone. I had to order something I didnt want. Almost left to go somewhere else.
Ordered takeout and was given a wait time of over an hour, no biggie, we went into a couple stores while we waited. We get our food and the alfredo was cold, the portions were pathetic, and the chicken and gnocci soup had 2-3 pieces of chicken and ONE piece of gnocci. For the money I am extremely disappointed.
Food was standard so cant complain there. Only grievances I got with the poor sanitation around seating area. That with the overpower stench of old parmesan made the foot just a little unappetizing in the beginning portion of our dinner. I would suggest to management to deep clean the place to rid of the odor and to dust the the lighting more frequently.
Made reservations and we waited half an hour and then they didnt have a server for us. They found one but he was busy with other tables also. My daughters noodles were still hard and we were all done with our food by the time hers finally came 45 mins later. She had them box it for here so we could just leave. Never had problems like this before.
Made reservations, waited 30 mins after arrival, sat for 30 mins to get drinks which not all were brought together ordered things that never came, constantly reminded what would be charged or wouldnt instead of just bringing what we asked for.... I could go on and on but why bother. Grandma likes Olive Garden it was her and Grandpas 58th anniversary and we made the most of what was offered. Would never recommend this place and they could not pay me to return. Yes I paid the bill yes I tipped the staff no I did not want anything for free just please on a table of 12 with reservation and a sever that cannot handle it.... Maybe just help her to make it happen?
Party of 3. Waited an hour (after being seated), to be served dry chicken and rubber noodles. The food just tasted like yesterdays leftovers, warmed up. Our server was friendly enough, but clearly not trained very well. Prices were entirely too high. We wont be returning.Shouldve stayed home and ordered Pizza.
This used to be one of our favorite places to eat but with the service we had tonight I will not be going back there anytime soon. Our server was so focused on a larger party that we were left to fend for ourselves. As a new time mother who waited over an hour to get a table with a 5 month old baby to have terrible service just isnt worth going here. So very disappointed...
Had unlimited soup & salad for dinner. Temperature & taste of food was very good. I believe we had a newly trained waitress--at least I hope so as we had to ask for simple things like tableware. No plates provided for breadsticks although I observed other tables were provided with them. No offer of additional breadsticks or fresh grated cheese on our salad or soup or my spouses entree..we had to request it. Also I felt rushed thru dinner & have noticed this as well on prior last 2 visits as well. For those reasons only 3 stars.
The service was slow and the waiter kept forgetting things we asked for. My husbands Chicken Alfredo was very low on Alfredo sauce. We made a reservation for 7:30 ; got there are 7:25 and were told that we had to wait 25-30 mins for our table!?!? THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE RESERVATION?!? The regular wait without a reservation was already 30 mins.
Where do I start. Everything was amazing. I ordered the Steak Alfredo and I was mind blowned. I asked for a medium rare steak. And I got exactly that. I went with a huge group of family and friends. And no one complained. We also ordered an apitizer of Calamari. It was astonishing! The salad was great too! And the breadsticks never dissapoint. The dinner was simply amazing. Crushed my expectations!Customer Service was even better! Denison was our Server, and he was awesome. He was great with everyone and very patient and nice with our little friend. And also brought a great mood and vibe around the table. Making the dinner even more enjoyable. He was quick with refilling our drinks. So overall I would give this 10 stars but 5 is the limit. Dinner and Customer Service was great. 10000/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-Kaiden
The food was terrible. No flavor. Extremely overpriced. Two people in our party had lasagna. Two had alfredo. The two kiddos had the kids spaghetti and pizza meal. No one ate more than a couple of bites, and filled up on the salad. Three ate breadsticks, but the rest of have never cared for them. No flavor. We wont be going back.
The food was actually excellent, I havent been to OG in a long time and was pleased with what I ate. However, I dropped a star for them because our server wasnt very attentive to us. Mostly he was fine, but when we received our food, we realized we both wanted black pepper, and he didnt come back to the table afterwards. We both ran out of our drinks, and I ended up finally asking another employee to please find our server. All told, maybe 10 minutes went by before we continued to eat. Not bad service, I was just a little disappointed.
Our server was very knowledgeable and on it. Our water classes were never low, our salad and bread sticks remained full. The food was very good. The new menu offers some unique items, that were very good! It had been awhile since I had eaten here...Ill definitely be back.
My husband and and I love Olive Garden, we eat at one at least once a month. Today we went to this one in Chapel Hill Shopping Center and we will not return to this one. It is a Tuesday afternoon extremely slow. The dinning room they sat us in was dirty, food on the floor, the table was dirty with dried food. The bread sticks were cold and not cooked all the way. The salad had one slice of tomato, one olive, and one banana pepper, and very dry, barely any dressing. The fried ravioli was cold but hard as rock. As if they were just reheated from the night before and then sat out. For it being so slow there was no constancy that you would get from any other Olive Garden. It made me want to put this restaurant in the back of the line for choices to eat out for awhile. We ended up taking our main dishes to go because we wanted to just get out of there. Now theyre just sitting in our fridge cuz we have no desire to eat it.
I had the chicken parm with Alfredo on the side. This dish was only around for a limited time . It was a giant piece of breaded chicken that was excellent and was at least 12 inches long(wondered where that breast possibly came from) was excellent except the sauce was generic tasting, but overall a decent meal. FYI the prices have gone up a couple dollars at least per meal. I paid $18.49 for this particular meal.
At 8pm ordered over the phone, sitting in the parking lot… 2 salads, bread sticks and a chicken gnocchi and zuppa soups. At 8:50 Pm, they came out said sorry taking so long. Finally at 9:10pm food comes out. We get home and we have 2 Zuppa soups. Ol and a free desert, how in the world does it take an hour and 10 minutes to get salad and bread sticks??? I understand short staff and all that, but I really on’t like zuppa. What a let down !! It will be along time before I go back.
Everyone has one of those “bad days” and today was that for me. I had locked my keys in my car outside the restaurant and other issue need not to mention etc. So I was just looking forward to a good meal and relax some. I was disappointed.Server was great. I ordered the shrimp scampi. Was given the amount half of what I would normally expect. Was told by “Melissa” the manager it was because of the “light fare/calorie”. Well unfortunately I am not looking for light just a good scampi meal. She did fix the problem after charging me extra for the pasta.Used to be a favorite/go to place. Not so much now.
Order was wrong person on the phone tried to tell me it was my fault even though I had my order form in front of me. Manger was nice but again said are you sure thats what you ordered. Took an extra 15 minutes above the 1 hour time it gave me to pick up my order, ordered soup and salad that it no entrees so why did soup and salad take so long dont like to give bad reviews but not the first time this has happened at Olive garden will not be going back.
Olive garden is always an upper class style and feeling, and nothing beats the Italian themed music playing as you walk into the restaurant but the food here was no where near the quality that it used to hold. The service was sub par but by no means extraordinary and the employees seemed frantic. Maybe just a bad day for the establishment but I would have been just as satisfied eating at chic fil a two doors over.
4:00 in the afternoon hardly anyone in the restaurant had a 30-minute wait just to be seated was seated placed our order then after another 40 minutes we hadnt received our food we had ordered stuffed shells and fettuccine alfredo asked how much longer it would be and was told there is three plates ahead of us it would be another 30 minute wait for our food Said never mind well leave ask to have it taken off the bill then magically they said our food was ready after being told it would be at least another 30-minute wait for our food The manager made it right and the waiter was very nice but that is still very ridiculous when theres hardly anybody and theyre just trying to get the food out to the people in the cars
Order by phone and it was wrong Ask for two small soups 4 bread sticks and 5 cheese dip got 8 bread sticks and Marinara sauce to was sick my son came all the way from west akron to bring it to me was very disappointed the soup was the only thing right need to pay more attention
The service was great, food was good but it was actually about one half the portion that Ive got in the past. This was a place that was one of my favorites to go to for lasagna. Today I had to ask if it was the $5.00 portion!! Seriously, for $100.00 spent for three of us ,the lasagna was very small portion. I dont think Ill be going back. Also didnt get the little mint with my check !?!? The Stars are for my server not the business
I will NEVER go back here. Took my Mother for Mothers day and expecting a little bit of a wait due to staff shortages and being a holiday but to wait OVER an hour and a half for our food all while HUNDREDS of take out orders came from the kitchen not a single one was for the actual customers who were in the dining room waiting upon waiting for our orders. Togo orders shouldnt be a priority over those inside the restaurant....
Called at 8:26pm for take out order. Girl on the phone said she had to check if they were still taking orders???? They close at 10:00pm why wouldn’t they still be taking orders 1.5 hours before close lol. Waited 5 minutes on hold and finally hung up and just ordered online. Not good customer service
I was honestly extremely impressed by the service here. While we did wait awhile to be served some of our stuff like the breadsticks and salad we only had one server for a ground of 11 people so I am impressed that the server was as quick as he was. We had just gotten done at calling hours for my grandpa and he was very courteous to that respect as well in actually asking us what brought us out and showing empathy when we told him. The hostesses were also very nice especially since my aunt was kind of rude to them and not being patient or understanding that they were short staffed. The manager also came over to ask how everything was going and to see how everything was which was also very nice to see. I would highly recommend this location.
The people that work here are so attentive and understanding. Service is quick and thd place is kept pretty tidy. They follow covid guidelines well and this is absolutely my favorite restaurant ever. They have a lot of vegetarian options and some vegan options, even noting in their menu the things that are vegetarian. The food tastes amazing and I will keep coming here for as long as I possibly can.
The unlimited soup and salad is great. Fresh crispy salad and the pasta fagioli soup hits the mark. Calamari with shrimp and peppers is a welcomed variation. Personnel is friendly; especially Suzie. Put it all together and its a game pleaser. Wish they offered crackers with butter. The bread sticks are nice, but would appreciate an alternative; fewer carbs and it would cost the restaurant less.
The food was good. The service was good until the end. I had not been to Olive Garden I ages. I did not realize the waitress was suppose to take my check so I went up to what I thought was the register to pay but no one was there. There was three people at the hostess desk just playing busy. I mentioned I want to pay my bill but no one said a thing as I stood at the carry out register waiting. I mentioned it again about 3 minutes later and there were still 3 people working the hostess deck standing there...they said nothing. A guy came from the back I ask where the cashier was and he said they were on break and would be back in a minute. Anyway finally after another 5 minutes a girl came up with a ladys go order. I told her I wanted to pay my bill at which point she said my waitress has to take my check. I stood there for approximately 10 minutes stating I wanted to pay my check and no one took the time to tell me I had to let my waitress take it. Very poor customer service!
I love olive garden. I do but there is a standard of service that should be upheld. In the 15 years ive been going to your store i have NEVER received such poor service. Its a Tuesday night its slow. My bf wanted to suprise me early for my birthday tomorrow. I tried calling twice. Theres a call ahead seating feature that i enjoy using just in case its busy when we arrive. Kept on hold.....i allow 10 mins to pass being on hold before i hang up and call back to wait again another 10 mins. So we just did the walk in. Doesnt take long to get seated as theres hardly anyone in the parking lot. Our waitress introduces herself as Rachael. We order our appetizer then entrees. she asks soup or salad. We both order soup to go with our dinners and sangrias as the drink. Roughly 15 mins go by and our appetizer and breadsticks come out. (Wheres the soup? Normally thats supposed to come out with the breadsticks.) She waits the table next to us and leaves. Back in 5 to the other table. I flag her down and ask for my soup. Shes gone and back in 3 mins and offers me a salad? Not what i asked for. I am extremely disgusted at this point. I go to pay at the ziosk and see a screen i do not recognize. I flag the waitress down so i can pay. She informed me that some of the ziosks werent working properly and theyre not gonna fix em because theyre all getting replaced. Not the service i was hoping for. Especially as an early happy birthday present.
Food was excellent and our server Dani was even better! She was super nice and catered to our needs. She went above and beyond even when I asked her to bring me my own salad cause I can’t eat onions and I like extra tomatoes. She hooked me up so I hooked her up with a big tip. She deserved it 100%. I will go there more if I can have her as my server every time. That company is lucky to have her. So, ask for Dani if you go there and you won’t regret it.
This specific restaurant I have been to twice since the start of the holiday season. So to start from the beginning.... We call the restaurant like 30 minutes away to see if they are on a wait or not. We where told a wait time of 15 30 minutes so I ask to be put on the list. for the text message when your table is ready, so we where like ok. Then we get the text message saying our table was ready so we proceed to the host stand just to be told by the host that we where not on the waiting list. She stated that they are on a wait and it would another be 15 minutes, so by now I need to get a manager and so he apologized for the confusion and sat us.
My wife and I went to olive garden yesterday and service was pretty good. We both got appetizers and mine had to be sent back because it was so burnt and I could barely cut it w/a fork so I had our server send it back and it came back much better. I was pleased w/my drink and appetizer. And my wife was also pleased w/her appetizer. Our server Emma was good and well definitely come back every chance we get.
If I could rate this location negative starts I would. I’ve had two bad experiences with this location and wait times. The first instance is my sister and law and I were in the target parking lot across the street, maybe a 1-2min drive from this restaurant. I called while I’m the car to ask if they had a wait for a table for two. They said nope. So we took the 2 mins and drove over there, walked in, walked up to the host, and she immediately said there would be a 45 min wait for a table for two. I had literally JUST spoke to someone on the phone. How does that happen? The second bad experience I’ve had with this location was tonight. I expected there to be a wait so before even leaving my house I added myself to waitlist via online. It said my table would be about a 20-25 mins for a table for three. Myself, my husband, and my 2 year old son. It also stated that I was #12 on their list. So we leave the house get there and I was #2 on their list. We are sitting in the car with my screaming toddler who is hungry for about another 45 mins. And then it finally told me I was next on the waitlist. After waiting about another 10 mins we go inside to ask a host when a table would be ready. She stated that “the online waitlist wasn’t actually a waitlist and you still have to come inside and check in to get on a waitlist and there was over an hour wait, but I could be put on that one”. That is after waiting for over an hour already. I will NEVER be coming to this location again. What is the point in having an online waitlist?

2022-04-12It seemed to be an average night as far as business, it took a waiter 20 minutes to ask about drinks and it wasn’t even our waitress then it took 20 more minutes before we saw our waitress which then took I don’t know probably 15 minutes before we saw bread and our salad took forever. The dinner was brought out after being there for over an hour. The food was delicious but service was not good

2022-02-25Sure there was a bit of a wait to be seated, but the wait was worth it. The Zuppa Toscana was just delicious and flavorful and so was the Lasagna Classico. Our server Justin was very nice and was just excellent. Very helpful and I was impressed.

2022-03-28Food was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was not friendly at all though. I only go to this location since it’s convenient for me and my family.

2022-02-16Olive garden is basic Italian food. Its good but nothing special. The meat inside the ravioli appetizer was questionable. The Zuppa Toscana soup was barely warm. Chicken and Shrimp Carbanaro was good.

2022-06-13Wasnt to crowded before the dinner rush. Service was quick, and very accommodating. Chicken marsala was decent, and I would probably order it again. Waitress was friendly and had no mistakes.

2022-05-29Im lucky enough to have a unique experience at my visit for this review. The power went out for the entire strip, about 35 businesses, during our visit. The staff were consummate professionals in handling the outage. We covered our drinks but our appetizers and soups / salads were comped. We stayed about 45 min in case the power came back on, which it never did, but the ambiance of a dark Olive garden with only one other table populated in the entire place was fantastic!Service was friendly, food was great, drinks done well. 11/10, would do, with no power, again. :)

2022-03-04The past few times I have been here the food was good but the service was not so good decided to give it a try again. there was a very long wait. We saw three empty tables in the bar area asked if we could sit there and be served they told us no the bartender is not allowed. I then asked her what about all the empty seats at the bar can I sit there? she said let me check she then rudely yelled out to the bartender. She then took our menus to the bar and basically threw them down on the counter and walked away. Your bartender on duty that night was Jessica and she was great!!! she was friendly, knew the menu very well. She sure knew her stuff when it came to alcohol and bartending as well, she was very educated and has a lot of talent in mixing drinks good and giving the drinks a really pretty presentation. Hopefully a manager reads this and will address the issue with the rude staff up front. and why dont you guys make it more known or advertise or have some sort of sign telling people that they can eat and go up to the bar if they dont feel like waiting? I mean the poor bartender on a busy night had no customers besides us.

2022-02-08I love olive garden however I will probably never return to this one to dine it again the food was great however the service was so awful my waitress never said her name didnt give up refills on bread or salad our drinks took 20mins to get to the table the silverware was dirty I asked for hot water and never received it she was rude and acted like she hated her job. Im a waitress myself at red lobster and if I would have done or acted this way I would of been fired on the spot

2022-05-04My first ever meal at Olive Garden was fantastic, delicious food and the service was very polite to us. Unfortunately I have to say our server took awhile to get us our food. We saw other tables around that arrived after us get their food before us. And there were moments were our server would be gone for long periods of time, which made requesting things hard to do. Other then that, very good experience for my first time at Olive Garden.P.S. The bread sticks are so worth the hype 😁

2022-01-11My husband and I met a friend here for dinner. We waited roughly 10 minutes to be sat. Our waitress was quick to come to our table and she was very attentive the entire evening. Overall we had a really good experience and our food was delicious.
