Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in other cities:
Waited forever to be seated. Then after seated we waited 20 minutes to order our food. They didnt seem to be busy by any means. And little things that make olive garden like not asking if you want cheese on your salad or meal, and to tell them when its enough cheese. Or endless bread sticks because they dont come to the table enough to realize you need more bread sticks or salad or a refill for your drink. Idk I dont mean to sound picky or petty but it just seemed like everyone that worked there didnt want to be there and hated the job.
The waitress was very friendly and provided really good service. However, that was canceled out due to the lack of cleanliness in this restaurant. The bar table surfaces were all dirty. The tables surrounding the bar all had food on the table and clearly had not been wiped down thoroughly. This is a Nono during these Covid times. I will probably not return here for awhile. Sanitation is a priority. Especially during a pandemic.
We ended up here just before close on a weekday. We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive. Literally the moment we finished one step of the meal, she was there to offer us the next. The soup was a bit underwhelming and the bread sticks were warm-ish, but Im assuming those all-day items start to fade toward the end of the night. The salad was still tops, as it always is.
Joined the waitlist online, 15-20 min, arrived 20 minutes later. Upon checking in, told they were 45 minutes behind. Management has no authority/control over staff and the staff runs the show...poorly. Check in podium employees yell at each other in front of customers and have social hour in the back. I understand that staff is limited due to Covid, but understand that you can operate more efficiently with 10 skilled employees compared to 25 lazy employees. Our server could not be bothered and seemed overworked. Not the best experience.
Waited 25 minutes for a table while there was an empty dining room in the back. Finally got to sit after being skipped in the que, in the empty room. It seemed to be the employee BSing room. The staff were just standing around complaining while rolling silverware. Service was good but this place seems out of control.
Less than a minute after being seated the server came and without introduction or greeting brusquely asked “Do you know what you want to order.”10 minutes after ordering, my entree came out stale and lukewarm, as if it had been pre-made and left under heat lamps for the dinner rush.I picked up the plate to put my scarcely edible leftovers into a box and was horrified to find the underside of the plate caked in old food and grease from being stacked on other dishes and not washed properly. I paid $50 to eat a stale meal off of a filthy plate.I am frankly disgusted and disappointed.Service (if you can call it that) is lazy and rude. Food quality is abhorrent, cleanliness is shameful. This location needs a serious overhaul in staff and management.
The customers call order go and say it will be ready tobe pick up and they show up and wait and waitand the serviceee was delay on there to go and say THIS is the worsted. Service. They should have never had come back here and host are cruel to the bread that the coworkers are very unkind I didnt want. Nobody else to get. Higher. Here. this is. Dumb place. Be in this places. Servers are slacker
The business was poor the food was not hot it wasnt good I dont like Cold food the waitress was very nice I took my dad with me hes 93 years old it was him and his wife best place to go and shes no longer here so it was Mothers Day they would have probably been there if she was still alive it was my day I decided to take him there for memories and we had bad memories I am a mother of one a grandmother of five so I decided to take him where him and his wife would have been if she was here
I have mixed emotions because the staff was wonderful but my food was terrible. The other order was wonderful too. But I think I wont be going to an Olive Garden anytime soon. Dont like the changes made to the lasagna, particularly and the time before this, there was something else wrong. 😕
Look and feel of the place is good. Staff is polite and ready to take care of you. Their service is completed in pretty reasonable time. Upon your arrival, they serve you with some garlic bread. Those are pretty delicious, they are a must try if you do not have a gluten-related issue. I dont know if they have gluten-free bread. Their food is pretty good. You have an option to get either a salad or a soup. The salad typically comes with an Italian dressing and is usually pretty fresh. They have different soups out of which I have tried the chicken soup and liked it as well. Their food is pretty tasty. You can get additional cheese if you want. They also give you some mint chocolates by the end of your meal.
Food was great for take out order but never should the door of the kitchen opens up and I just so happened to see a employee grey underwear as he was bending down he was a thin slender guy. Hey Management you need to groom your men that work in the kitche. I also saw that one male on the floor serving did not have a mask on. As I understand it the virus is on the rise in ohio. There is not much of social distance going on here.
Good soup. Spaghetti with meatballs was tasty. Salad was delicious breadsticks were gross. Cold and really not up to their own standards. Did I complain you might ask and my answer is No. I was not the paying party so I did voice my concern with my table. I will say that over all its a 4 star for me. Our server was great. Very polite and friendly.
Well I was very happy with the food and the service until it came to getting my change back from my bill. I was supposed to get 2.75 back out of a 20 and was going to leave her the 2$ plus a 5 and keep my quarters as i like my loose change. Well I got the 2$ back but she kept my 75 cents. So guess thats her tip from me today. Steal from me isnt going to get you a tip from this guy.
Gosh, this was just so disappointing. Had to go and make homemade Shrimp Alfredo the week after because I just couldnt take how generic and mediocre it was here and I needed to have it done right. It takes longer to get your food here than it takes to just open a can of storebought sauce and boil some pasta yourself, and the mediocre storebought sauce will still probably be better. The breadsticks werent even that good. Only thing that was decent was the salad. I wasnt expecting much, after all it is just olive garden, yet still I left very disappointed. I just wanted some mediocre pasta with salad and breadsticks and a glass of cheap wine priced as if it were good, yet none of those things were able to happen, unable to even bring out the glass of wine in addition to the aforementioned issues.
Todays service and overall quality of food was terrible. When seated at the table my wife and I had to request for it as well as the seat to be cleaned. The host took our drink orders which simply consisted of water and then after waiting about 10 minutes our assigned server came to take our order. The chicken and gnocchi soup was lacking gnocchi. When the entrees (Tour of Italy) came it looked as if the restaurant was short on food because the portion size resembled that of something from the childs menu but not only that, it was also very dry. Prior to eating we had to request silverware and napkins. (It should be noted that the pasta with alfredo sauce was approximately 2.5 forks worth of pasta.) While eating the server came and said yall alright? I requested a refill on my water and after 13 minutes of waiting the server came back empty handed and asked if there was anything else we needed, I said i wanted a refill but now, just the check. About 16 minutes later the server came and sat the check on the table in the corner without saying a word. I have been dining at the Olive Garden for years and after this visit I am confident in knowing I will not be back.
Nice italian food. Service was good and quick. Reasonable price on lunch menu. Best and cheapest and quick option for lunch. Also it come with healthy salad. I am loving this place and looking for next visit. Combination of lunch selection - soup/ salad/ bread stick - $6.99 only. Thanks 👍👍👍👍
This was my first time at an Olive Garden and will be my last! I order the asiago stuffed pasta with Alfredo sauce and grilled chicken and it was horrible. The chicken was rubbery like it was reheated in the microwave and the pasta was overcooked. The only reason I gave it a 2 stars is for our waiter Frankie! He was very polite and attentive.
Went around 7pm on a Thursday night. Informed it was a 45 min wait or we could sit at the bar. We sat at the bar, and bartender was amazing. Excellent service, she was very courteous and efficient and friendly. Sat us in the bar area and amazing service all night. Food was good too. Im so sad i forgot her name, but she is a reason Ill eat her again.
The Olive Garden on Harvard was an enjoyable experience. They seated us quickly, and our hostess was very attentive! I was amazed at her performance seeing as though she said she only been working there 4 days! Exceptional service! Keep that smile, and keep up the great work!!!
Food was good as always but man the bartender at this location is dangerous she knows her alcohol and can mix a mean drink without tasting the alcohol!! Thats what makes her dangerous, Id go back for drinks and the atmosphere alone!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend this locationshe deserved every bit of a 20 dollar tip and she was on top of her game!!!
Had an excellent “to go” experience 2yrs ago when I left my last review. Changing it because I called today and got hung up on. Called back and was told to “please hold” right away and was put on hold for 12 minutes before I hung up. Called back and was hung up on again. All to ask a simple question that never got asked. I’m very disappointed. 5 stars to 1 star.
Came here for lunch, and although there were MANY open tables, we were told it would be a 25 min. wait, so we sat at the bar. It is sad to see so many restaurants suffering from understaffing, but my friend and I were still able to have a nice experience. Green apple sangria was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Bartender was kind and funny, and our food came out quickly. I was made to feel welcome and appreciated. The food was good... typical Olive Garden. Nothing spectacular, but I am so happy to do my part supporting our restaurant workers who now work 3 times as hard for the same pay due to understaffing issues that are out of their control.
This is the worst olive garden restaurant Ive ever been to in my entire life!! Do not go to this location or any olive gardens for that matter!! They reduced their menu to absolute nothing. I ordered the most basic soup and salad and was told there was no salad!!!! After waiting for over an hour!! The servers and every single person that work there act like they would rather be ANYWHERE then there. No thanks olive garden.. you owe me an hour of my life back!!
OMGGG.. THE BEST TIME EVER ... anytime me and my sisters brunch is a good time but this time was even better... our server Guy was THE absolutely best server ever.... he was fun . so much fun .. friendly... talkative .. outgoing. he went above and beyond for us making sure our visit was unique and special.if you are ever at olive garden on a Sunday ask for Guy to be your server .. tell him the fashionista on a budget sister sent u .as for the food it was average. calamari was tasty. .. mushrooms was tasty firm and yet delectable... the pasta was ok. the drinks where awesome... spiked lemonade.. so tasty.but Guy made sure we were happy and taken care of
Went there Saturday about 1245 ladies outside friendly checked us in fast. We were seated immediately maybe because it was lunch time a little slower. THE FIVE STARS IS FOR KATRINA C. THE BEST SERVER THOROUGH, ATTENTIVE, RESPECTFUL, INFORMATIVE, AMAZING, AWESOME, GREAT SPIRIT, the food was fast, good, fillingBUT I WOULD COME BACK FOR KATRINA. Customer service is key, GIVE REWARDS, A RAISE, something more than a compliment OLIVE GARDEN. I pray u received your blessing
I went for my sons birthday the food was good. The server was really attentive but they didnt have some things we ordered. The dish ai ordered they didnt have anymore I had to order an alternate, the soup that I ordered wasnt ready had to take it to go, the dessert I ordered was frozen so I had to order an alternate, a little frustrating but the server was really nice about it and informing us.
If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I placed my order to go using the app and I was very disappointed. This was probably my worst experience with this location. I ordered two Chicken Alfredo meals and they were disgusting. The noodles was very hard and sticking together. The chicken was burnt and over cooked. I asked for extra Alfredo sauce on the sauce which I didn’t get. I tried contacting the restaurant to speak with a manager and I was unable to reach anyone. I was very upset to have wasted my money and time ordering this food. Due to the food being hard and overcooked I was unable me to eat and enjoy my meal.
I went there at lunchtime with my Aunt and was very disappointed with the chicken parmesan. Thats the one dish I always order when I go to an Olive Garden restaurant. When I went to this particular Olive Garden the chicken parmesan was terrible. Our particular waitress appeared to be new at her position. We had to keep reminding her what we needed. There werent that many people inside the restaurant so I know she wasnt slammed with customers.Ill stick with the Olive Garden in Mentor, Ohio.
Still one of my favorite places for a quick takeout meal. I love their soup and even though theres a bit of a wait with all that has been going on lately even when you pull up at Carside and send them the message to tell them that youre there. And someone comes out and ask you what your name is even though you have given them your space number I will still return LOL! Because the food is always excellent.
The worst experience I have ever had at an Olive Garden. My husband received his salad and there was some sort of shredded up straw or paper in there. The waitress was not helpful in resolving this issues. Instead kept pushing the wine menu on us after we firmly kept saying we do not drink alcohol. Some of the breadsticks were hard and tough to chew. The menu was very limited and my pasta came out tasting very bland.
What a difference from the Olive Garden in North Olmsted..the Maitre D , didnt smile or greet a single customer nor did the staff. The food service was delayed. Saw customers leaving before their order arrived..but to be objective, the place was well maintained...the food was alright..Not worth a second visit.
My family went to this Olive Garden for lunch we were showed to our table and there was a strong smell of urine. When we advised the waitress and the manager of the odor they were unsympathetic we were told if we did not want to sit there it was no other sitting available. No apology or empathy what so ever. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will be letting everyone that I know about this experience at the Olive Garden in warrensville Hts Ohio
Love this place and location usually. We went with time to spare. They close at 10 arrived around 8:30 so I don’t know if they were grumpy or what but we come in, there’s a lot of girls at the front and they tell us it’s an hour wait. We tell them it’s fine because we knew it wouldn’t be that long (it took 10 mins). One of the girls laughed when I said we would wait. They sighed and took our name down and we were standing there. Older lady who had an attitude the whole time. Other girls were talking about us right in front of us. Saying “hour and a half wait? But we close in an hour” “I know!” Very rude. Almost ruined our night but the server made up for it.
We arrived on time, we were seated fairly quickly. Our server, Yaya, took orders accurately and although they were quite busy on a Saturday night, we were served fairly soon thereafter. The food was at the right temperature and had a great flavor and was well displayed. Desserts were served. One of our group could not eat the dessert at that time and our server provided a durable container for her take home. We had not seen our friends in a long time and so we occupied our table an extra long time. I pulled a prank on my friends wife by telling our server she was a chocaholic and might go into seizures without adequate chocolate at the end. (The group just thought I had gone to the restroom). Yaya piled on the chocolate mints in front of my friends wife as requested. We still sat there a excessive time taking her table space. When we finally were leaving, our server gave us each a drink packed with a lid and straws for travel and never complained that we took so long to leave. We all made sure to thank her in words and a very generous tip. I would recommend this Olive Garden. Ask for Yaya!...🤗
Poor curbside service, always missing items and always a long wait. This run was the last straw, waiting over 30 minutes past delivery promised time, I had to call in asking where my order was because the app said it was already picked up, and then waited 10 more minutes, and again, food items missing. Ill now drive an extra 10 minutes to a different location.
Went out to this Olive Garden location with a couple of my friends, and we had an absolutely impeccable experience. The food was great, the drinks were wonderful, and our server legitimately made our night (thank you Morgan!). Though its not typically our to-go dinner spot, this experience was so good and so cost-efficient that it truly might have changed our minds. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
I am a big Olive Garden fan, I came here with my Dad last week everything was Delicious! The food was so good I came back today with my husband everything was great. Which says alot because my husband doesnt like most resturants. The waiter I think her name was Zominique, she was great. The food was fresh and came out quickly. We will definitely be coming back soon. The endless breadsticks and salad was good but I wish they added less onions in the salad. The chicken was Fresh and Juicy. My Italian margarita had me feeling good. I love the Italian doughnuts with the dip omg this place will have you wanting to order everything. We left stuffed to the brim lol. Also the host get you seated quickly. Great job Beachwood Olive Garden you have a great attentive team.
The staff was very nice! Our waitress was on point and they were really busy when we got there. They said it could be a 30 min wait, we may have waited 15 min. They were very efficient at cleaning the tables as soon as people left to get people to tables. The restaurant was clean. The food was good. I just really want to emphasize that even though they were really busy, our waitress checked in us often, for our food and drink orders quickly, and got us our bill quick. She was amazing!
Server said there was no iced tea, brought 2 really hard bread sticks with the salad, said she was waiting for more, I could have played the drums with the 2 she brought out.She did however bring fresh ones when we asked for more salad.I wont come back to this Olive Garden.
Wow. I have gone to this restaurant for many years. I would have given 4 or 5 stars during all that time. Not sure what is going on, but if things dont change this location wont last long. I called to order angel hair pasta and meat sauce to go. The guy who answered 2 days ago at 11 15 am acted like I was bothering him. He sounded straight up mean and unwelcoming on the phone. My food was ready on time but the pasta was very overcooked. I have never had that problem at this restaurant before. Last week I attempted to call at 10 45am to order ahead since they open at 11am. Rather than the young lady saying call back after 11am, she said hold on because she was cleaning up and she put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Judging from other reviews, there are some problems. I hope they get it together. I will wait a very long time before I order again.
I tried calling in first to be on their wait list, I was told I couldnt bc there was no wait, then I tried to reserve on line like the guy told me but the website wouldnt let me bc there was no wait, we get there and theres a 25 min wait! management did nothing really to accommodate the situation we finally got a table near the bar the waiter was very nice but very very HIGH STRUNG ! Forgot one of our drink orders I had to go and get him to correct it, then he messed up a soup order, the food was decent but nothing to brag over. Idk maybe just a bad visit. Doesnt mean theyre always going to be this way. Good luck
Food was beyond burnt! The Italian Sausages were black as tar. I cant believe they actually thought it was ok to give that to anyone to eat. I was told if I wanted the food replaced I had to wait 20 minutes but if I ordered something else it would be out ASAP. Bread was overcooked&dry it tasted like chalk. Dirty dishes were allowed to pile up on the table. Waitress was inattentive..Had to keep asking other servers to get things she should ve been getting. I wouldnt recommend this location at all.
So rude as I walked in I asked the server if i could have a table and she said unfortunately tonight they could not place any more guests. I called ahead asked for a wait time at which they told me an hour wait which I said was fine and asked if I could make a reservation online. They said it’d have to be in person I got there about 10 minutes later and told me they no longer could seat any more people. If they were unable to seat any more people they should’ve said so on the phone. We also called at 8 and there were still 2 hours to go before closing time not sure if the greeting lady was having a bad day or what but will never return to this location after this visit.
Food was not the best and it wasnt coming out as fast as it should, table was sticky and sercice unimpressive. The server was polite and friendly but he smelt... dirty, seems like he had been working the whole day. Understaffed restaurant, but while the server was working four tables te manager found time to stand around and chat with the host.
Visited 6/4, post-COVID seating in effect. This is probably the best dining experience I have ever had. The food came quickly and was delicious, the staff was great, though there was a short wait (well worth it).Our waitress was literally the most delightful, conversational, pleasant woman Ive ever had as a server. She was fun, clearly enjoyed what she did, and was attentive to our dining needs and conversation. Ive worked in food service before, and shes the best Ive seen. If the rest of the staff is half af pleasant as this waitress, youll have an amazing time here.
The absolute worst Olive Garden weve been to. The only plus was that there was no wait to be seated. It went all downhill from there. We waited 15 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. She had no enthusiasm and seemed miserable overall. Not once did she ever come back to check on us, never asked if we needed refills or anything. We then waited another 15 minutes to receive our drinks - she dropped them off and walked away. This establishment on this particular night was not busy (due to Covid restrictions) so there was no excuse for the lack of service and care. Our food was sub-par. The sauce on my chicken scampi was as thin as water. The bread sticks were barely warm, no refill on our salad and as Ive mentioned, no offer to refill our drinks.Weve eaten at various Olive Gardens in the past because we do like their food but this was by far the worst experience weve had yet. This review is not to review the company as a whole but this establishment in particular. Next time were in the area, well avoid this place.
I really appreciate the customer service! I have been three times since last Friday and every visit each server has been amazing.... to bad I am horrible with names or else I would definitely put all three on this post. I however did make sure I tip each one 25% or more of my bill. Keep up the great work on hiring amazing people
Unfortunately my 86 year old grandmother still lives in Cleveland alone. Long story short I like to order her food from olive garden. On this specific day 4/11/2021 I placed a pick up order for my granny I paid over the phone and got a confirmation number they said I still owed $3.29 I gave the waitress my card number 4 × she said its not going thru I said its no way after taking her time and putting the number inside correctly it went through but by this time the driver had left I called back 4x to see if my order was still there they put me on hold for 30 min for a order I already for paid for. Its 2 hours later and my grandma still has yet to eat dinner. the young people who worked on this day was very nasty and rude
I kept asking for things a didnt receive. I asked for 2 soups to go because I have a cold. The whole reason I was there. The waiter acted as if she put both in there but I got home it was only one. Very stingy with the bread, not to mention when I ask for some it was never ready. I love the bread she have me 2 breadsticks to take home. When it was time for us to go waiter used a small box for entree, when there was no more room she began stacking one on top of the other and I dont like my food to touch. At the end of the day Im very dissatisfied with my experience waiter became very pushy and kind of mean which I looked over. I actually tipped her 20% of my bill wish I hadnt because if I went elsewhere I would of had a better experience.
The food is good. Service was very bad (1st time with bad service) been at the location at least 10 times. No soup had to wait 20 mins. Appetizer came and still have no small plates. Dinner is being serve and the server is no where to be found. We ended up stacking our own plates so they can put the dinner plates. Drinks completely out and not getting refilled.Nice place, just very bad server for one night. I have pictures of what our table looks like.
Average at best but service was good.Update.. went back to take my daughter who wanted olive garden for her birthday. Dropping to one star. The food was prepared badly and didnt taste good at all. Service was so slow I started asking other staff to help me. They would get upset I wasnt their table. Prices are way too high for generic food at best. I see bankruptcy in the future if this is the new normal of bad food and service.
I give it a four only because it smelt like pee where we were sitting. We moved to a different spot and it still smelled like pee so i dont know what was going on with that. Our waitress Bianca was the best she was awesome. She always had a smile on her face, well kept, and excellent customer service. We will be requesting her when we return
Every part of our experience was embarrassingly bad. Ive never seen such a slow bartender. It took almost 20 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. Our server messed up multiple parts of our order and barely checked on us. A restaurant worker sat down at a table next to us, was drinking out of a plastic cup & was starting at us. We never got the additional drinks we ordered at the bar. When we asked to speak to a manager, it took him awhile to come to our table. He seemed pretty uninterested in talking to us. He did take some items off of our bill & the server apologized, but I doubt I will return to that Olive Garden.
My server was very friendly and presented my order in a timely manner. But my coffee was cold and giving to me in a paper cup because the restaurant didnt have any coffee cups. The manager quickly replaced my coffee and explained that cups were not available because of an accident in the kitchen.
Have not been to Olive Garden in awhile, so my husband and I decided to go to this location for the first time. It wasn’t at all crowded so we were seated right away. Our waitress was pleasant. Ordered drinks and soup. However our main entrees took so long to come out that we were gonna let the waitress know to box it up, until management came out to apologize and offered us dessert. Nice gesture, but once I had a taste of my dessert (cheesecake), it tasted freezer burned.
Oh I loved my experience here with my husband. We celebrated our 1st anniversary. This restaurant was well lit and clean. The waitress and management was fabulous! The made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The food was superb and so was our beverages. Next up was dessert that blew our minds what happened next. After we shared with the waitress of how we had our wedding reception in Olive Garden last year. She told her boss. The next thing we knew the manager gave is a complimentary CHOCOLATE BROWNIE LASAGNA CAKE and wished us many more anniversary!!!Yyyyeeesss Honey!!! We got served high quality service and we will be back!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Worst dining experience Ive ever had! The food was dried out with very little sauce. It was obviously sitting under the heat lamp waiting to get delivered. We only received 4 of the 5 dinners and 1 of those we received was wrong. So only 3 people at our table got there dried out food. My daughter finally got hers but we were still missing 1. We were and hour into service before everyone received their food. We asked for more salad and bread sticks, never received more bread and salad was missing the croutons. Getting a refill on drinks was a fight as well. I had coke, the server refilled my drink that was completely empty with something that tasted like coke and tea mixed. The servers attitude was terrible. She barely spoke to us, just setting down dishes and walking away. Several times she looked at us and just walked away when she knew we needed her. The manager offered us dessert because of the food delay. We picked up the dessert menu and it was disgusting! Sticky and pages stuck together. We grabbed another on from an empty table and it was also sticky and gross. We tried 3 different desert menuse all of them were filthy. The whole ordeal took over 2 hours. The whole time our server never cleared the table of any dirty dishes. We had to ask hunt her down for our bill just to leave. We will never be back!
The worst Olive Garden ever. This is my third time with this Olive Garden and my last. I called to place an order and was put on hold for ever nobody came back to the phone to take my order I have had bad experience three times at this Olive Garden. They act like they dont want my money. And now I dont want to give my money to this Olive Garden. If yall dont want to work close it down. Its so sad. I dont know who the manager is but yall need to do better
Perhaps visiting this location before 8:30Pm would be a good suggestion. Perhaps this late night crew were exhausted, frustrated, and just didnt have the conviction to produce good, fair, or caring results.I requested the poultry be prepared a certain way, they were unable. However, most of the noodles were dry or plain, as if they ran out of Alfredos sauce. In conclusion, some plastic utensils would of added the opportunity to enjoy the meal, while it was hot, but they werent included. This experience reinforces that tipping as an encouragement for good, fair, or caring service, before receiving the end result, is not in the consumers best interest.#Disgruntled
Arrived shortly after 5pm and was seated right away. Waitress was very attentive. Seems as though as soon as we placed our order, that our food was out in less than 10min! Very enjoyable! The two hostesses were less than polite and very unprofessional! Never acknowledged that we walked in until a manager approached us!
We waited over 90 minutes just for our drink orders to arrive and over 2 hours to receive our food. The food was good (even tho I ordered my steak medium well it came to the table rare). Of course I sent it back and by the time I received my food we had been there 3 1/2 hours and I took it to go. Everyone still enjoyed themselves but they really need to have more staff on hand for the weekends
Came in at 2:15pm and it was still busy.. Our server was nice, Minestrone soup was on the salty side, but everything thing else food related was fine. Ordered rose, bill said Moscato, I thought it tasted different. We also ordered a blue signature drink and asked for an extra shot of vodka. I think the bartender put extra blue syrup. Not a fan.A table was seated in the room next to us. We ate our entire meal and no one would serve them. The hostess said she would get someone... the guy was screaming for service. He had 2 screaming kids. A female manager came to his aid and actually waited on them. Kuddos, looks like you need a hostess who can at least grab drinks for a guest. I was shocked to see her actually serve them the entire time. When you need something done right, lead by example and thats exactly what she did. She gets a 5 star. Darden did right with her. Too bad this location doesnt have more ppl like that.
Wait time was shorter than mentioned. Staff was very pleasant, they had no problem accommodating our party of 4 adults and a toddler. Our server Dominique was awesome, her customer service skills and personality were a pleasure to deal with! She checked on us without being overbearing!
I used to like olve garden. I think their food was more fresh. But when i went there last week i was utterly disappointed. The restaurant was empty, and we were seated in uncomfortable seats. But when we asked to be moved the greeter refused, and told us to ask the waitress. This never happened to me.They took so long to take our orders, and were not patient or friendly when doing so. And the food wasnt good either.I wouldnt recommend this branch and olive garden any more.
I make a mistake every time I choose not to skip this location and I should have skipped it today like I usually do. If its not the food, its the service and if its not the service its something else. The manager or managers are just as useless as the employees. How do I managed to get ignored for about 15 minutes for car curbside despite me trying to get their attention and calling? I dont know. Its yet another reminder of how terrible this location is.
It was busier than we expected for a late Sunday afternoon (we got there around five) so the wait was twenty - thirty minutes. Even though our section was obviously full our waiter was great. He didnt keep us, or anyone it seemed, waiting for anything. We got our drinks and food quick and everything was delicious. We had a great experience. The at-table pay station was easy to use and figure out without help from the waiter. Well definitely visit again!
The service was a mess! We had a party of 5 and checked in- wait time was 45 minutes. After 30 minutes our buzzer went off, we went inside and “uh, no? We aren’t ready for you?” And they took our buzzer. “Sit down, wait and we’ll call you.” Mind you, we had no buzzer. We waited nearby and watched them seat a party of four that had just arrived at a table big enough for 6 people. They could not keep track of who was to be seated. Staff was not nice. Restaurant was very dirty. Needless to say, we left!
An ok chain Italian Restaurant. Portion size is average. Food s taste is nothing special. Our server was friendly and pleasant. However, it took her three separate requests for us to get two glasses of water to drink along with a glass of wine with our meal. The red blend wine served was pleasant. The Chianti went well with my spaghetti, meat sauce, and 3 meat balls. The meat balls were an extra charge of about $2.50 add on with my meat sauce. The red sauce was a little watery with average taste. Atmosphere was pleasant.
Ive had better... We had a party of 12 and two waiters (one experienced and the other kind of new). Sometimes the more experienced waiter came off sarcastic, rude. I understand it can be overwhelming to have a huge party as well as being busy. But the attitude isnt necessary. Food was ok. My niece was waiting for her take home meal (she had the buy one, take one home meal). When it was time to get the checks (4 different checks), we waited for at least 30-40 minutes... If youre a party of 5 or less, I think theyll be able to handle it.
Food was great, as always. My soup wasnt filled to the middle of the bowl the first time but thats not a big deal. We were told to wait for 20 minutes for a table when most of the restaurant was open or sit in the bar area. Sat in the bar area at one of three empty tables to then be told to move to the bar, then told to move back to a table but we stayed at the bar. No toilet paper in two stalls..I love Olive Garden but this was my worst experience. Overall okay but why a wait with empty tables? And no toilet paper? Come on.
If I could give no stars I would have. I understand Covid has hindered alot of things and restaurants have it bad and are fighting to stay open but one thing that could help would be their staff being more attentive and respectful towards customers. Yesterday was my daughters 16th birthday and all she wanted was to go out to eat with a few family members. When we got to the Cleveland Beachwood location it was about 7pm it was 8 of us, they said the wait would be about 45 minutes long unless we agreed to split the group up it wouldnt be as long, we said okay no problem, then they told us we couldnt wait in the waiting area we would have to wait in our cars, mind you its 20 30 degrees outside and we had to possibly wait 45 minutes. Despite the cold for my daughter we waited. 45 minutes goes by they say oh we have the large party table just opened up but were not ready to clean it so it could be a little longer and to split you up could be another 35 mins cause they just started serving the table. I waited another 15 minutes or so before I went back in to check on our table. At this point its a little after 8pm, they say oh the tables still arent ready it could be another 35 mins or so, we only have two tables that can accommodate a party of eight. I asked what about the original plan to split us up especially since they didnt have but a few people dining in at the time and quite a few people had left while we were waiting and some had come in also, plus I said it was cold outside, we already had been waiting a long time and the only thing stopping us from leaving was because it was my daughters birthday, one of the workers comes from the back and says oh please be patient but before she could say anything else I asked how much more patient can I be, we have been waiting in the cold for over an hour, so another hostess, older woman says what you dont have cars. I said excuse me she said well how did you get here, I told her of course I have a car and unless she was willing to let run her gas out to wait in the cold, her comment was ignorant and unnecessary. My daughter got tired of waiting and said she would prefer to go to BW-3s instead so we left. I later found out from the website and seeing they were closed when we left BW-3s, that Olive gardens dining room was only open until 9:30, but the staff never said to us, because its late and we are short tables and due to our dining hours we will not be able to accommodate your group, instead they chose to make us wait in the cold and make rude unprofessional remarksUpdate: I spoke with the location manager Kemond, I apologize if I didnt spell it right, he was very nice and apologetic and attentive to our issue yesterday and took care of it immediately. Thank you very much and he asked if I would please give them another chance and I will keep my word and give them one more try. Well see what happens, hopefully its a better experience.
I will never single anyone out but we were never asked ONCE for a refill, the salad and bread sticks came out at the SAME time as our main course after 23 minutes and then we asked for extra grapes and the server forgot. Overall the service was not right. The food was good however I just hope they work on customer service more. If you see my reviews you know it takes a lot for me to write a bad review.
The waitress was great! We didnt wait long for our food. But the wait to be seated was 45 minutes we went on a Sunday evening and it was very crowded so there was nowhere to sit or stand so we waited in the car while the rest of our dinner party stood on the inside. On a scale of 1-10 I give the food a 5 and I give the service a 10! They need more of a variety as far as food go but the atmosphere was nice and clean!
Service at this particular location was slow. Our waitress took a long time to do everything from get us drinks, take our order, bring the salad and bread sticks, and even get us our food. Normally one of the nice things about Olive Garden is theres always food on the table and that wasnt the case for us.
The food was decent enough but not the experience. There was another employee standing next to the hostess with a scrawl on her face and I thought to myself, I hope shes not our server because she looks like she does not want to be here. Lo and behold who comes to our table to greet us once we are see it with that same look on her face. She asked for our drink orders and my husband asked what did they have and she paused as if to say, its not my job to tell you. After the blank stare that I gave her, she said coke products. We also heard her having a conversation with another server about how they had her back there by herself and seated a couple of parties back to back. We dont mind a little wait but it wasnt that busy. She took forever returning to our table each time. Midway through our meal she did brighten up a little but at that point it was too late. The experience was already crappy. To top it all off, I ordered dessert and she returned to the table and said they were all out of the dessert that I wanted. It was the first time I had seen her smile all night. It had been a long time since my husband and I had visited the Olive Garden and its safe to say itll be much longer before we visit again.
Do NOT come to this restaurant at its current state. Think of everything youd expect from a typical dining out experience: a waitress who introduces herself, refills your drinks, checks up on you, asks how everything is, and doesnt have an attitude. Now take all of that away and combine it with a wait time of over an hour for your meal and that is the experience you will receive here.I will say, the manager did correct the problems by refunding us our money. However, I will still NEVER be coming back. Absolutely terrible.
Food was good but service came up short. A friend at my table did not receive butter for her bread sticks until the latter part of our visit after three requests. I never received mozzarella sticks. They were removed from the check. There was also a very long wait for our checks. Maybe staff was short on help today.
No reservations available, they will hold your place in line, which is better than nothing. We only waited about 10 minutes after reserving our place online, wait time was about 1 hour for no reservations, and they were very busy. Service was a bit on the slow side, our server didnt come to take our beverage orders until about 15 minutes after we sat dawn at a table. The soups were exceptionally peppery, and I like a lot of black pepper on my food so it had to be really strong to put me off. Food took awhile as well, but thats typical of Olive Garden and also why they bombard you with breadsticks and shower you in salad...other than the wait times and the black pepper soup, the food was tasty and hot, and 80+ year old grandma very much enjoyed our dinner out, and shes an ornery old Polish lady (in her own words) and hard to please. Dont expect to be in and out in an hour, but if you have time to kill like we did, come in and kill time stuffing yourself with breadsticks while spending time with company!
How is it possible that the rating is even as high as it is ? Ive NEVER been to a Olive Garden that has been sooooooo GHETTO !!!!!!! I cant believe there is not corporate polices that are not enforced I strongly recommend take a drive to another location and I really really hope someone from corporate reads this review and sends someone to witness this for themselves this is completely unacceptable for a family oriented restaurant!!!!!!! I wish I could give this negative review instead of the 1 star I gave it !!!!!!! I am appalled at this literally NEVER have seen anything like this EVER ....... Oh and I even forgot about the call ahead seating option that doesnt work and how SLOW they are
Terrible! Ordered to-go/curbside pickup. Pick up line was to Bed, Bath & Beyond with one person working! When ordering online, you have a service message that says you will not be charged until pick up is complete. However, I was charged immediately! No way to cancel order because someone took the phone off the hook... online ordering stated 25 mins! I get there just to wait in line for over an hour, I couldn’t cancel order and go elsewhere, and I never got my food! I’m demanding a refund! Just all around terrible!!!! I understand youre probably busy due to virus.. but, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for this one!
The food was not quite the same. The salad was soggy. The Chicken and Shrimp just not good. I have this dish frequently at different locations. This was bad. They asked if I wanted it replaced. The shrimp tasted like frozen salad shrimp. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and very nice.
We had a party of nine and had to wait about 30-45 minutes. I had to use the restroom and noticed there was a big section that had one table filled. My hunch told me-not enough servers. We sat in the entry way and close to 5 o’clock servers started walking in the door. I feel that this place is not organized and making poor choices when it comes to wait staff schedules meeting the demand of the number of customers arriving. We sat in an area that had one big long table. Which, ended up being perfect for us. However, I noticed the smell of mold. This location isn’t as nice as some of the other locations I’ve been to.Our waitress was friendly but service was a bit unorganized. She was trying her best but seemed very frustrated. Our table ordered two calamari and she said one plate looked like it didn’t have enough and she had a new one made. By the time it came out, we were almost done with eating the salad. My mom didn’t want it by then-and sent it back. My fiancé got the chicken and gnocchi soup and it had maybe three in there and one piece of chicken. Our main course was great. Everyone liked what they had.My advice: Bring in your wait staff earlier then 5pm, make sure your kitchen is organized, and get rid of the mold smell.
The hosts were friendly and suggested while we waited for a table that we enjoy half off wine from their fine wine menu. Then after a short wait we had the usual bread and salad, always delish. Followed by the main event, our entrees were cooked with extra tender, love and care. Scrumptious. Then topped it all off with the lemon creme cake. We had a wonderful experience
Had reservations a month in advance. Had to wait an hour and a half to be seated.Arrived at 6 seated at 7:30, served after 9 pm. Most of our party ended up taking food to go. Waitress spilled drinks on two guest. Left the table and didnt return until time to pay. Would not even look our way the entire night.Pretended she did not realize she dumped drinks on us.Terrible experience.
I wouldnt recommend this Olive Garden. The manager was great and understanding. The service and experience wasnt pleasant. Our server Dominique was terrible! We didnt get our drinks until 20 min from sitting down. Our meal didnt come out until 45-50 min from being there. The restaurant wasnt overly crowded, so there shouldnt have been any reasons we sat that long without food or refills.
Experience was not good at all. Waited twenty minutes before anyone even came to the table. Could not understand our waitress. I thought it was me but my Uncle could not understand her also. I ordered chicken margarita it should have gotten twice pieces only got one which was so little. And my Uncle got a pick three which he didnt even eat. He said he didnt like it and on top of that I ordered two of t he stuffed mushrooms to go She forgot. One regular and one with the crab .I reminded her she went back to get it when I got home my Uncle dropped me off and I took the bag. I thought it felt very light. Guess what there was only one and they were the smallest mushrooms. Never saw stuffed mushrooms that small. Was a very bad experience. The only good thing was I got to visit with my Uncle
Waited a short time for dine in eating. They are only allowing a few guests to be seated at any one time . So, with limited seating diners are far more than 6 feet apart. All employees were wearing masks correctly . In addition, they are now using paper menus , which can then be used as placemats. I appreciate this switch to paper rather than the reused menus handled by everyone. Joe, our server was extremely attentive , and dinner , eggplant and chicken parm respectively, was delicious.
The manager Matthew Wade should be embarrassed with the poor level of customer service provided by the hostess. We came for lunch with our 1 year old and the restaurant was fairly empty. We specifically requested a high chair and the hostess asked 2x if we would accept a booster chair. Apparently there were no available tables and sitting at a booth would have been a fire hazard with the high chair at the table. No problem, so we waited for a table to become available. 15 mins later I go to the restroom to wash my hands and I see at least 17 available tables. I come back and now ask for a manager who clearly sees we have been waiting (despite the restaurant being empty). The ‘manager’ quickly apologizes and seats us at an available table in the very front next to the bar. I asked (sarcastically) was that so difficult and she responded to me with a laugh in disappointment at the hostess saying, “apparently it was.”Meanwhile, during the entire 15 minute wait my wife overheard the two hostesses complaining openly about the manager in front of us and another customer waiting for takeout. Did they not realize we were sitting there listening? Obviously not!Overall, the food was awesome and our waitress was a delight, extremely attentive and constantly checking on us with our 1 year old child. I applaud her for making the rest of our experience a delight. In closing, after we paid and departed for the front door with our child the two hostesses were engaged in heavy conversation and failed to acknowledge us with a “Thank you, come again, soon.”I was not surprised and never experienced such poor service from a hostess at an Olive Garden. 100% disappointed!
Everything took long. We enjoy our time as a family so it gave us time to talk. But we had so many drinks and free appetizers, we didnt eat our dinner after all, cause our dinner took over two hours!!!!!!!! I cant believe we waited so long! The manager I guess is a temporary manager Dennis is on blast!!!!! The sever was nice she is lucky we were as well. Anyways horrible food serve experience!! But hey our meal was free he was nice and we are understanding. Im sorry for future customers I would have still paid but it wasnt great.
Done! Will not be back. I am a regular at this location and it can be hit or miss depending on the server. Last night was beyond a miss. Walked in at 7, seated at 7:20 walked out of there at 9:35pm. Ordered never ending pasta, and got my second order to go, because I had waited so long for food. Waitress thought it was so generous t be giving me the order in carry out. When I got home, the to go order looked like they had dragged the noodles thru the sauce - just colored/no sauce at all. The waitress had the never ending pasta taken off the bill. Still wasnt worth it. You should have paid ME to experience that !
The food was good but the server wasnt. We had to repeatedly ask for drinks, after having the wrong one brought out. Once we were done dining, we waited for our bill for about 10 minutes and the server never came back after giving us to-go containers. Finally, we went to the front so we could pay and leave. The manager did take some off of the bill to make up for the poor service.
The server I had a major attitude. It took them 20 minutes for the server to come to the table and greet us and another 15 minutes to even get us waters. We never received our breadsticks until I was ready to just leave. The only good part was the hostess and the manager. Other than that i would not recommend going. That was first and last time.
My husband and I visited this location today and all I can say is.....WONDERFUL! The service was excellent from our greeting when we arrived, to the pace of time between when we ordered our food and it arrived to our table, and our waitress Jamella. She was absolutely great. Friendly and very efficient. Food was prepared fresh and perfectly. We will definitely visit again soon.
I ate here last night. We waited OVER AN HOUR just for salad and breadsticks! The waitress was nice but she wasn’t around very much at all to refill our drinks. I ordered the never ending pasta bowl but had to wait 15-20 minutes in between servings which was ridiculous! I’m not sure I will ever go back here! I’m very angry!
Even though our experience started out a bit rocky, it certainly didn’t stay that way. We waited about 15 minutes before someone came to even ask us for our beverage order. After speaking with the manager Kristen, she offered us an appetizer on the house. She was very pleasant and displayed excellent customer service. I’m sure she is the reason why this review has 5 stars. 😊. Our actual waiter Sherri was very nice as well. Most importantly, out food was great! We will be back!
The food we ordered was the unlimited soup and salad combination and was as always, excellent. We chose the Tuscan soup which is a must try offering. We had a split shift waitress experience that worked out perfectly. Our first waitress, the cranky one, left and we then had our very pleasant young lady. I mention this not only to comment on the service differences, but to address the policy of the way tips are addressed in this situation. The waitstaff dont split tips, which in this case worked out fine since the pleasant one got the tip.The unfortunate part of it was that we were further bothered by the first girl pressing us to pay our check (so she could get her tip) even though we had said we would be having dessert.I took away a star because of the inconsistency of service, as well as the bad (except in this case) policy on tips.
We were seated right away, the waitress took our orders and returned with salad, rolls and beverages. Our main course arrived hot & delicious, it was perfect timing. Satisfied and full we finished with coffee and conversation. Thank you Olive Garden for a delicious luncheon with friends.
Food was mediocre at best. Five employees standing at front desk. No one greeted me when I walked in nor asked did I want to be seated. Waited 7 minutes and a nice young lady came out and asked was I waiting on a pick up order. I told her yes she proceeded to get it together. Checked everything my favorite soup was missing out the bag. No big deal its always something missing right? I believe in good customer service and this place isnt it. 2🌟🌟
My mom and I love their all you can eat soup and salad but didnt see it on the menu, so we asked the waitress about it and was told they have it and its $8.99. We ordered it, my son ordered pasta and a appetizer salad and appetizer came out, finished those his pasta came, no soup the person who bought his dinner asked about ours and we told him we had soup and salad, he said he would go get it. Five minutes later still no soup, our waitress finally came with another bowl of salad and says oh you didnt get your soup yet? Soup comes but my son is finish now, so she brings the bill, and we remind we have the unlimited salad and soup which we just got. Looked at the bill it says $10.99 for our meals, so I asked her then she says, the prices she quoted earlier was for week days only. I believe in tipping well, but not for bad service.

2022-04-15How Darden has fallen from Grace. Service was not only slow but almost non-existent. Salad and bread sticks took almost 30 minutes, soup took 45. The meal took an hour. Drinks werent refilled, requests forgotten about. Food was terrible. Cheesy shells were freezer burned, lasagna was overcooked and mushy, Alfredo was broken, the salad had the crouton dust from the bottom of the bag all over it (see photos)We will honestly never be back. After spending $80+ on a fault of 4,it aint worth it for some overcooked noodles and disinterested service. I dont know if its high turnover, bad training, or management so bag no one cares but this was truly awfulOh and the bathroom was disgusting

2022-01-09They still make a great salad even if they use only iceberg lettuce. I did like that they sent out extra sauce with our chicken scampi. I just would have liked my vegetables cooked a tad more. They were a kiss away from being raw. We still had a great time socializing with our friends and thats what elevates an ordinary dinner.

2022-05-19Ill try to keep this short while still sharing my experience. Ill begin with the good. The service provided by our waitress Sammy was 👍🏽. She gave us her honest opinion on what to get and it paid off. I had the chicken and shrimp carbonara with a Raspberry lemonade, they were both delicious. The brownie lasagna was also good. Now for the bad; the bread sticks tasted freezer burnt at the bottom. The salad 🥗 was decent, nice dressing. My mother ordered the chicken Parm and she didnt care for it. For her it tasted burnt but wasnt. It came with spaghetti 🍝 which wasnt good. It wasnt flavorful at all. She didnt like the meatballs either, so thats why I gave it 3 stars.

2021-10-24I always enjoy coming here. Youre automatically greeted by someone, who genuinely wants to assist you. She made eye contact & immediately asked for my name & phone number & explained the seating procedures. She in turn, asked us to have a seat until we received a text message. I appreciated that & thought it to be an efficient process. We waited about 5 minutes & was seated right away, by a very pleasant young lady with beautiful curly hair. Someone came, greeted us again & brought us plates; reminding us that someone will be over shortly. Our server immediately came over, greeted us & told us about the specials. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo which was a little cold but delicious. I didnt want to send it back, in fear of it taking too long to come back. Next time Id just tell my server, if they could make sure my foods piping hot when it comes out. Overall, Ive always liked Olive Garden and yes, Id return again & again. Kudos to the staff! Great job! Enjoy!

2021-09-06The wait time to be seated was not long. The wait for food wasnt long either. I actually ate my dessert, the Black Tie mousse cake, before my plate arrived!! So good! I got the the chicken Parmigiana with spaghetti and my friend got the endless soup, Zuppa Toscana, with the house salad and breadsticks. The atmosphere was nice and so was the staff. Well definitely return soon to try more items!

2021-06-12Your typical Olive Garden. Went in around 7pm and had a wait time of 25 minutes. We got seated in about 20 mins. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good. Like everyone else said their salads are amazing and I couldn’t agree with that more. I just found the crowd in the restaurant to be a bit extraordinarily loud around me. Other than that everything else was solid.

2022-05-16Being my first time here, prices are way cheaper than I thought. Food was excellent. Server was even better. When I got there a server just quit and I was very proud of our young server that didnt let that get to her and kept on doing her job. 10/10 attentiveness, customer service, politeness and helpfulness. Gave her a 25% tip just because of how proud I was of her. I just dont know her name but I would love for her to be my server again. Even stopped her and told her how proud I was.

2022-02-12We were celebrating a family birthday party. Our server Ed was nothing short of magnificent. We had a party of 12 and he handled each of guests with such grace, and was so accommodating. Oh, the food was delicious too😀

2022-06-12The poor management skills need to be worked on. While my server was running around with no help. Others were getting the help they needed. So my question is why didnt my server get the help he needed. And everyone put in that team work. Along with that the bus boy, came and cleared off the table while we were still at the table. Dropped the dishes and laughed. I found that just a little rude and disrespectful!! If those plates would have fell on my childrens hands we would have had a very big issue.I love Olive Garden been going since I was a little girl!! I will have to make this a two star only because of what happened that day!
