We have had to use this emergency facility a couple times for our daughter and both times I have been very impressed with the service - even with an entirely different staff each time. After a horrible experience with trying to get help at an urgent care with a splinter removal, we left and came here and it was a totally different experience. They clued us in and even included us in the plan for how to manage this ordeal with my sensitive child who didnt want to hold still for the process. They even told her teddy bear goodbye on our way out, by name. We were very lucky that we didnt have to wait long at all to get help, but even if we wouldve had to wait for hours I would still bring her here again. And this will be my go-to place from now on when we need sensitive care for my children for any other after hours urgent visits. Thank you for making a not-so-fun experience a lot better. 💜
I was seen yesterday. I walked in about 2:30, and didn’t get to leave until about 6:30.. most would complain. However, I never will! The staff was wonderful and very kind. They had a lot going on and I saw it with my own eyes like a decent human would. Everyone was spread out necessary and they were as efficient as they could possibly be. After weeks and weeks of being sick and no medicine worked I finally got the medicine to make me better! Give it up for the doctors, nurses and staff during this hard time!!! I appreciated you more than you know.
Unless you have covid dont go here. If you are being seen for anything other then covid testing they make you wait for hours upon hours. I have been here since 730am. It is 11:24am and still waiting to be called back. Im in pain I can barely move my legs are swollen,, numbness and tingling in limbs. Smh Meanwhile someone who is sick with possible covid, gets in and out. Thought this was an emergency room not a covid testing site. My bad
Worst emergency room ever I been here almost 2 hours waiting at the waiting room with sickle cell pain and chest pain, and the still telling me they have no room and is only one doctor they have and the staff are busy with other patients, they treat you with skin color, I keep telling them I’m in lots of pain and she be like.. we have other emergency patients that just work in, how about and she started asking me if I have heart attack or heart problem, I’m like know but if you do know what is sickle cell disease ya wouldn’t have kept me waiting. Worst place ever
Got to this place at 1pm I understand being busy didn’t get taken back until 615 just to be told to go back out to the lobby and wait I left after 9 hours of waiting just to be told they lost my test results I understand being short staffed but by far the worst experience do not go unless you have time to kill or die yourself
Worst emergency room in Ohio!!! Came in at 8pm and it is now 3:26 am. Going on 8 hours. My blood pressure is through the roof. Ill kill over before Ill be seen. People that came in later have been seen before me. Horrible horrible horrible. ....never come here. Run away, you could lose your life waiting here
BEWARE worst emergency care facility we have ever used! No COVID precautions at all!! Did not sanitized the key pad where ss is typed in or counter after each patient registered. Noticed several people that looked like covid cases and ask if it was possible people around me had covid, answer was yes. I ask if I could wait in the car in the parking lot to stay safe as we all know masks do not work. Was told no again, so after observing how unsanitary everything looked I told the receptionist we were leaving. I drove my husband to a better part of Columbus even though it was 25 minutes away, so worth the drive. It was still Ohio Health, located at Africa Rd and Polaris Pkwy. in Westerville, what a difference, after each patient checked in everything was wiped down. They even insisted we put on fresh masks they provided even though we had just put new ones on before entering, we were ok with that and complied, just happy to see they were using precautions. They also ask if we had been out of state in the last two weeks or if we had been exposed to anyone with covid, nne of these questions were ask at the Reynoldsburg facility, obviously they are not following protocol! We were seen within 15 minutes and then treated and on our way in a little over an hour! By the way the visit was for an injury not covid. We are seniors and should not have been exposed like we were in Reynoldsburg Emergency Care. We will make the drive to Westerville if ever in need of urgent care in the future.
I was here at 4:30pm and they took me inside and kept me in a hallway till 8:45pm.The hallway was so cold and I kept telling them.So I m getting frustrated but what to do?I m hungry as I m here for almost 5 hrs.No response from the front desk. This is my 6th visit and no changes found.
Was referred to this ED from OhioHealth Urgent Care Reynoldsburg after being t-boned to get a spine collar and CT done. I have vertigo, nystagmus, nausea, headache, and pain with movement. I was triaged back into the waiting room and when I asked about a spine collar they said I don’t need one. Some nurses got wide eyed when I asked and others laughed. Excuse me for asking for a thing I was told I needed.Avoid this ED if you’re able to.
I really do not want to be negative during this trying time. So I will not go into details but I did go there and after not sure maybe 2 to 3 hrs of a wait in a overcrowded according to COVID regulations I expressed my severity of my issue and it technically was not a priority to them I ended up calling the ambulance and was transported to Mount Carmel where I was treated immediately, with the care that I needed!
This little woman with glasses was the rudest one tbh. She kept rushing me and my 1 year old and interrupting me as if what I was saying it wasn’t important!! I left and went to the other location in Reynoldsburg which was worth the walk out . UNPROFESSIONAL and they don’t seem in a rush to help anyone!!
This place was amazing. I came in for a bad ankle sprain and was in and out within an hour, including my X-rays. The man who checked me in, the nurse, X-ray tech, and the doctor were ALL wonderful. They were all so nice and helpful. The facility itself is also really great. They brought the x ray machine to my room, which was a private room with a door, not like any other ER/urgent care Ive been too. I received great care.
I wish I could give zero stars. The lady at the desk didn’t seem a bit concerned about my 5-year-old daughter’s 105 degree fever or neck pain, but instead decided to speak to me condescendingly after telling her that we had skipped a dose of Tylenol to try and get her low grade fever to break earlier in the day, and she was more than eager to let me know with a glaring attitude that we’d be waiting a very long time (I could clearly see that it would be, based on the packed waiting room). The ER absolutely wasn’t our first choice and we always choose our PCP or Urgent Care when we can, but on Christmas night with nothing else open, we didn’t want to take any chances. We will be happy to drive the extra distance to Children’s right away next time.
I was seen in this emergency room for a scalp issue. The physician that I seen prescribed me a medication that was peanut oil based and I’m allergic to peanuts. I was also given a referral to a dermatologist that I could not see. I called this emergency office later and told them I will need a dermatologist in their group they then lied to me and told me they can not give referrals. I know they can because they gave my sister one last year. Had I not read the ingredients in the topical ointment prescribed I would have had a much worse condition. They need to hire people who genuinely care and staff that will do their jobs and read over patients charts.
I myself went to this er for a leg injury. I loved it. Was in and out in an hour. Doctor and nurse was wonderful. The only reason I dont give it a one star. I took my daughter to the er at 3 am. There was no one else there. Just us and 3 nurses and Dr. Been. The nurses were nice but the doctor came in and he was terrible. He looked at my daughters arm and her ears. Said her fever was viral and sent us home. My daughters fever was still there 2 days later. Took her to her doctor and they gave her antibiotics for an infection and her symptoms got better just as short as 12 hours later. I may never go back. I dislike medical personnel who dont listen and then just say oh its just viral and dont take the time to actually look when they have nothing else to do. I would rather go to mount Carmel and I hate mount Carmel.Edit: i went back to this er for my back. It was busy but I only waited an hour to get a room, not too bad. My nurse Melina was really nice and was obviously concerned about the amount of pain I was in. The xray tech Melissa was nice. The doctor (i wish I could remember his name) was quick and knowledgeable. He explained my test results were and outlined my next steps in my process of treatment.Every time I go to this er it is so up and down. I want to like it i have had positive experiences. If only all of them had been positive.
I don’t care to publicly share my experience, but did want to leave a review. I will say the poor attitudes exhibited toward me definitely seemed to be influenced by the “leadership” at this facility. The next time we had a family emergency, we chose to drive further from home just to avoid this urgent care center.
The staff here are very nice! The only suggestion; I might have is somone needs to mand the front desk at all times; 2 people that arrived after me got ahead of me? Because no one was paying attention & this was frustrating when Id already had been wtg 2 hours! So now I had to wait another 2 hours! Other than that they still are wonderful
I had to break down and go to Ohio health emergency center last night with a very painful hip problem. The half of the staff was great but the other plus doctor was horrible. The doctor really didnt do an exam but did an x ray on my hip. He didnt come back to talk to me and never gave me a doctors excuse for my job. I barely able to walk. I cant walk, stand, sit, or lay down without pain. This doctor had no other patients in the building at the time and he laughed at us and said that he was to busy. That really hurt me so much that I cant trust a doctor or nurse staff from there again. Now I still cant work and my work is demanding a doctors excuse from my visit. Thank you again Ohiohealth for the best worst experience that person can ever have. You should never have put a place in Reynoldsburg if they dont want to deal with people and lock there doors at 11 PM so noone can be seen there.
Had to take my 8yo daughter here and I was very impressed with how friendly the nurses and doctor was!! Made me feel very comfortable and they were so kid friendly! Not many places do you find that EVERYONE is as kind as they were, even the gentlemen at the front desk was very nice! Thank you!
Was in the waiting room with my boyfriend who was bleeding profusely from a gash in his hand for OVER AN HOUR on a slow Monday night. He was bleeding the whole time we waited. Not to mention he was in a huge amount of pain. I will NEVER come back or ever recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your time coming here because you WILL waste your time.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! I went here after smashing my finger one day. They gave me unnecessary services I didnt want or need. The place is nice and workers are good, but the next week I received a bill for over $3000 for just 8 stitches on my finger. And thats after insurance covered half of the bill. Unless you are rich or dying, stay the hell away from here
I can’t say enough positive things about my experience here! I was greeted & taken to a room (by the gentleman who registered me) within SECONDS of walking through the door. Rebecca, Erin, & Dr. Nicole were so incredibly helpful & sweet! I understand that an emergency is an emergency & you get where you can get help ASAP, but I definitely recommend this place!
I went to this facility for a panic attack. I mentioned that I had a headache as well and the doctor spent the whole time talking about my headache and how it was an issue for my normal doctor. When they tried to discharge me on that basis, I called him back in and told him to deal with my panic attack—which was the reason for my visit. At this point he told me he refused to give me any treatment for my anxiety attack, had someone apparently google “anxiety psychologists” and handed me the printed results along with my original discharge paperwork. Thanks for absolutely nothing.
Lot better than OSU EMERGENCY 🚨.After car crash ambulance take mom to the hospital, OSU James, and she waited 8hrs never being treated and make her wait her in lobby. I take her out of OSU HOSPITAL and take her to here we already in room and ready for her X-ray in 1hours.
I HIGHLY advise against going to this emergency care facility. I went into this facility May 17, 2018 near anaphylactic shock. The ER doctor refused to believe I was having an allergic reaction to bactrim. Instead he insisted it was a muscular issue, and did countless unnecessary x-rays and then gave me two Motrin. The only thing that saved me was taking benadryl before going to this joke of a medical care facility. I will never go back. Doctors here dont listen, and instead get their mind made up on what they want the issue to be.
JUST HEARD DOCTOR SAY IT WAS ALL IN SOME ONES HEAD NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS PERSON. .. WOWWont change my review in pain no doctor wants to helpIll change my review once I come in. So far not one doctor has helped meI see really good and really bad reviews. Not sure if I should try or just steer clear. Should have steered clear. My head still hurts
If I could give a ZERO rating I would. My husband went here last weekend for upper respitory infection. Coughing a lot, phlegm and congestion was an issue for a month. They over looked that and had him admitted for heart issues which come to find out THERE WERE NONE ( LIKE WE KNEW). he still left the hospital with the same symptoms he went in with and came out with NO answers. Now here we are again same symptoms but more servere and congested all in his head with fluid in his ear.FINALLY they give him something to help clear it up. They gave my husband SOMEONE ELSES prescription! VERY UNACCEPTABLE. HORRIBLE, staff, rude care, they dont listen to what you try to tell them. They are getting people mixed up. My husband had to drive it all the way back. How in the world do you do this when they are to DOUBLE CHECK NAMES on everything. Never ever again.. will not be here again. Not professinal. Not to mention the house keeper is very nosey and will stop to listen to what you re talking about when giving your information instead of cleaning and doing her job.
I was very impressed. This was like going to a hospital ER except better in every way. No wait time, friendly staff, and very clean and modern. They were able to do everything that I needed. I will be back and recommend it to anybody seeking medical treatment in the Reynoldsburg area.
Dont ever go to this facility. They provide services looking at people face and skin not by order of arrival. In the name of triage they will keep you wait for hours. Every patient go to ER due to some real problems and urgency not just for fun. Please keep yourself away from this facility.
The ladies at the front desk were so rude. With 2 people waiting in the lobby she said there would be a long wait but she didn’t know how long. Then they said I could’ve have tea until I seen the doctor!!! Why would you have it out then if you wouldn’t like people to talk it until they see a doctor!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL NEVER WILL GO BACK
I just came from there this morning staff was rude they never asked me what son and I needed help for and the register nurse was extremely rude hate no people skills shes in the wrong field. My son and I left without continuing assistance. I will be reporting that nurse Becca.

2022-05-10Taylor was very kind and helpful in assessing my wounds and listening to my concerns. She sat down next to me and helped me feel better when she noticed I was upset. The nurse who took my information was friendly and offered to bring me a Financial Assistance Application when I expressed worries about high costs and being uninsured. I felt a little rushed along otherwise; had to ask for a band-aid after getting a vaccine booster and ask for gauze to re-wrap my wounds after being seen. Moderately long wait times, it was about 4 hours from when I walked in to leaving (on a Saturday evening).

2022-01-10I went in on January nice. The woman at the front desk was rude, but checked in and eventually took me to my room. She didnt leave the stickers she was supposed to leave. Later, same lady came around requesting $750. We had just paid rent and did not have it. She stated Well, you already owe $xxxx but it is our policy to collect the money then left. I turned to my husband and said she never even took my insurance card. He took it to her and she told him that they werent taking insurance cards right now. My question how can you take charge cards for $750 but not take insurance cards? That is absurd!

2022-05-26This place is trash. Lady on the front desk clearly doesn’t like her job and doesn’t even try to offer any empathy or good listening skills. Nurses are worse and doctor literally told me to speed it up after as she’s super busy. Not one ounce of professionalism demonstrated by anyone. It doesn’t take time or cost anything to be nice. Only nice people there was the cop.we waited around for 4 hours. Never again.

2022-06-19Nurse Carolyn was amazing. She was very personable and took great care of my mom! Beware of Nurse Rebecca. She was rude and unprofessional. Spent two days waiting for a bed at MCE, which never came. Left without a diagnosis and no answers.

2022-06-09The lady at the front desk was very unprofessional and rude to my pregnant wife. If I was not stuck at work I would have probably would have requested to speak to her manager. She needs to be corrected this happened on 6.9.22 around 1:30 pm or 1:45 pm.

2022-01-09I visited this urgent on a Saturday morning and the wait was extremely long. The staff are a bit impersonal. I do not like how they ask you at the front desk what you are being seen for that everyone in the room can hear. I’d prefer a more private setting to talk about the reason I am being seen. The rest rooms were not as clean as I hoped for. Lastly instead of a private room I was put in the hallway behind a divider which felt a bit uncomfortable. This is just my opinion.

2021-12-22What do I say about this Emergency Care? I took my pregnant wife cox she was vomiting all morning and wasnt holding any food or liquid. I got there at 2:30 PM, nurse said that they will get her room asap. After 2 hours wait, she start feeling dizzy cox she had without nothing in her stomach. Registration lady, Tami said that she wont even talk with the doctor or let me consult with them. At 6PM, I got frustrated cox everybody goes home who came before us and also they took few after us too. I asked Tami again and she said they need to follow medical necessity. I dont understand if pregnant woman not holding anything for 12 hours is not medical necessity. Finally they got her the room and put her in the coolest room.Tami cant verify her medicard card which is working everywhere. She really need the training on people skills training. Clinic should stop seeing patients with skin colors. RESPECT🙏

2021-12-30I got here at 845 its now 1130 and I havent even got my vitals checked I have watched a total 5 sick people leave because of the wait. A old elderly women couldnt get no assistant just was told to hold on four or five times she left because the service was horrible. How do you as Ohio health justify the wait and rudeness.

2022-01-08My son broke his toe so we rushed him over here. he was taken back fast. everyone from checking in to the nurse and doctor were very friendly. with everything they had to do we were still in and out within an hour and a half.
