Had a great time,plenty of big bucks,saw a huge fight between two really big Whitetails in an open bean field, I want to go back and try late season crossbow hunt this year. Lodge was very large and I had a room to myself which was nice. Last day of the hunt stuck a nice 11 pt,found it 2 properties away the nxt day,coyotes got some of it, but able to salvage rack, jason(owner) was able to find a cape and had his local taxidermist do my head. Definatly had fun and recommend.
Hunted longbeards 2 weeks ago with Jason,had a great time, Jason set me up with several blind locations with decoys, I opted to hunt alone first few days . 1st morning gobblers would not stop gobbling but where unresponsive all henned up I think. Second morning called 2 right to decoys, game over.3rd morning rained and blew,we didnt even hunt. I decided to stay a 4th day and went chasing long beards with Jason we hit 4 different areas riding around on his side by side the last was a wooded ridge alive with activity Jason and I called 1 Tom and 2 Jakes in to about 5 feet, great hunt. Lodge is beautiful and has everything, Jason fried walleye from erie one day and we cooked rib eyes another. Good experience and worth the money
Been Hunting with Jason Dye with my son for five years now, look forward to it every year. Great accommodations and quality Deer. I have hunted Whitetails all over the Midwest and really found a home with OTWO and Jason Dye. Always on the cameras, food plots and moving stands. If your looking for a guarantee go to a High Fence. I have seen multiple fights, violent chases and we have been lucky enough to kill a few. I would highly recommend OTWO to anyone.Bill Nelson

Prime land and food plots to produce big whitetails year in and year out. He puts his time in and you’ll get his full effort on your hunt along with 100% honesty....He does his best to make it happen for you. You’ll have a legit opportunity to kill a big, mature buck. Just got home from hunting with Jason Dye and Ohio Trophy Whitetail Outfitters in the Chillcothe Ohio area. To say I was impressed is a gross understatement.The owner jason delivered on every word regarding what to expect. On the first night, we were within 60 yards of an estimated 170 class buck – by far the biggest buck I’ve laid eyes on in real life. It was a monster! Had the trophy walked 20 yards closer to our blind, my son (age 10) and I would have been celebrating with selfie bliss – but it wasn’t meant to be.2nd night was a little off, saw plenty of animals, but the shooter we were looking for never appeared.3rd night, the same buck came out, but this time hung up over 100 yards away on a section road. He stayed there to dark so my son opted for a doe instead, and she was HUGE!I don’t know what’s in the food in Jason’s area, but he grows big deer there; hard to believe this is fair chase hunting. In combination with his impressive knowledge of deer and their behavior, you won’t find a more valued hunt for the class of deer available on his land.(Also, the night before we got there, there was a mid 170’s killed with a bow. It was the biggest deer of the year!)Accommodations are very clean and comfortable – he has a main lodge and offers a chef’s choice meal service which was VERY GOOD! Stands are not over hunted. Foods plots available. Big woods available. Great Accommodations and a good hot meal when you get in from a all day sit. Listen to Jason he will put you where the bucks are. The rest is up to you. Thank You Jason and Sara! See ya next season.
I booked a hunt for 2019 archery rut last winter.Plans change late summer and Jason returned my deposit once he filled my slot and replacement Hunter showed up.Jason said he would and he did.
Hunted with this outfitter 3 times, very good opportunity to put an arrow in a mature whitetail, which I have done. Large food plots ,deer do not seem pressured,food and accommodations great.
Great food and big deer everywhere. Lodge is very nice and staff was awesome.
Worst place ever went to , good luck if ya go there, seen one buck 4 pt. They didn’t feed us like most places. Just terrible. Not worth the money.

2018-11-08Just got back from my first hunt with Ohio Trophy Whitetail Outfitters. Being an angling outfitter myself and having hunted with two different outfitters in Alberta and another in Quebec, I can say with confidence that this operation is top notch. The accommodations, meals, and atmosphere in camp were outstanding. Most importantly, they have the deer!! I saw numerous shooters from the stand and was fortunate to harvest a beautiful 8pt while I was there. The properties my group hunted were very well maintained. Plenty of trail markers made access in the dark easy, good stands, great locations, and robust food plots to keep the deer in the area. Theres no doubt ill be back!

2019-12-04I have traveled around doing DIY turkey hunts in the west but never done a whitetail hunt until this year. One of my friends has been going to Jason for a few years and told me how much fun it was so I decided to give it a try and he wasnt kidding. The hunting was slow at first due to weather and where the deer were traveling in the beginning of the week so Jason moved me to some other stands at the end of the week to see if I would have better luck and it worked out for me. That being said, even if I had not harvested a buck, I still would have had a great time. The guys in camp were all great people and Jason and Sarah took care of everyone. They cook awesome food and the house/lodge is perfect. They have great farms that have tons of food plots and beautiful oak woodlots and ridges. If your looking for a guarantee kill, go hunt high fence not fair chase wild deer! Jason cant control the deer, but everything else that he can control, he does a great job at. I would recommend you take the time to talk to him about hunting at his place before you decide to go with someone else. They are great people and have a great place.

2019-11-26I have hunted with Jason for the last 4 seasons now and every year I return the experience is better. I have yet to harvest a buck but that’s not due to lack of deer every trip I have had 1-4 mature bucks in archery range, this year I passed on a buck I definitely should have shot on my second day only to have 2 other shooters come into range my 3rd and 5th day if you put your time in the stand you will have opportunities. As far as the accommodations go they are A+ The food is terrific and the lodging is very comfortable. I have hunted at other places in the past and overall this place ranks right up there great deer great food and great people, Jason and Sarah work hard to make your trip worth the money. I look forward to returning year after year

2019-11-16I’ve hunted with With Jason for the last 3 years including late season and rut archery hunts. Each time has been a great experience. He and Sarah work hard both during the visit, and during the off-season setting stands and creating food plots. If you’re looking for a good time, good food, and great hunting, book a hunt with Jason.

2019-08-11Hunted with Jason during Dec for second rut. Im a crossbow hunter and here in Massachusetts your lucky to see a handful of deer all yr where I hunt. This was not the case here at all. I harvested 2 mature does the first 2 days,I must have seen 25 deer per sit, the last 3 days I was hunting buck only ,saw 2 nice 10 pointers chasing does and one giant 8. Went with Jason to check cameras and there were so many bucks on one licking branch I couldnt believe it. His lodge was top notch and not crowded. Breakfast and dinner where perfect . I had a great hunt and would recomend .

2019-11-222019 - Went back to OTWO again this year and Jason and Sara did a great job again this year. Jason and Sara are dedicated to their craft and put a lot of time into scouting, food plots and moving stands so their clients have the best opportunity possible. Jason has put me on deer both years I have been to camp and I have been lucky enough to harvest deer both years I have been to OTWO. The accommodations are great and Jason and Sara are always making changes to better serve their clients. OTWO is always adding more land/farms to their property so there isnt any possibility of over-pressuring the deer. I recommend calling Jason and talking to him if your interested in booking a hunt just so you can hear his passion of the outdoors. Looking forward to being back next year, looking forward to posting again about the 2020 hunt.2018 - Great place for hunting trophy deer. The accommodations are wonderful. Jason really knows his deer and will do everything he can to put you on deer. I saw more bucks in my time hunting with Jason then I have in thirteen years of hunting in Michigan. I would recommend hunting with Ohio Trophy Whitetail Outfitters to anyone.

2019-08-21Sorry folks, but I can tell you that the only hunters writing reviews are those who successfully harvested deer -- which, from our experience is the minority. 1 of the six hunters took a buck and opportunity was very low. Jason is a great salesperson who suffers from not enough land for his hunters and overstates the opportunity and success rate. Many of the pics on his site are of him and the bucks he harvested - tip for you Jason, let your paying customers take the bucks. Food is short in supply and mediocre. We ran out of coffee, which is unbelievable, at the end of the week. I have hunted at several other Ohio locations and this is a pass.

2018-11-14Jason at OTWO runs a great buisness. Big trophy white tails, various types of territory to hunt, and that home away from home feeling at the lodge. I was truly treated like I was family, and it made my stay that much more enjoyable. Jason did all he could to assist the hunters shooting a mature whitetail, and I was one of the fortunate ones to get it done. Best buck Ive killed to date. Im still bragging about it, and will for quite a while. Thank you Jason for the opportunity, and the hospitality.Sarah was great also. They work together great as a team. Her cooking was top notch and made sure we never hit the field hungry, or without food to take with us. She was my chauffeur to my hunting locations and she was already ready to go in the morning, and always waiting for me to come out of the woods after dark, never once did I wait on her. Thank you Sarah for making my time spent there enjoyable, and treating me like family. I appreciate it, and cannot wait to see you guys again!

2018-12-10Ohio Trophy Whitetail Outfitters is a first class operation with first class people. The land is a mixture of thickets, hardwoods and plenty of bright green foodplots that hold the deer. Ive hunted Missouri, Illinois, and Ohio and I will never go anywhere other than Ohio Trophy Whitetail Outfitters. Come Here!! Year in and year out Jason has mature bucks running his properties along with bucks of a lifetime. Killed a 140&150 with Ohio Trophy Whitetail Outfitters and this year my father got a big mature buck out here. Lodging is absolutely beautiful with hardwood throughout the house along with bucks thatll make your jaw drop mounted on the wall. 2018-11-09Due to a last minute cancellation, I was scrambling to find an outfitter 2 days before my schedule hunt. I called 9 outfitters and they were all booked due to the fact that it was the rut and obviously peak season. I called Jason from OTWO and he was also booked full. He was very conscious about over booking his lodge and over hunting his land so he couldn’t take us. This was the first thing I liked about him! Good outfitters will never overbook for a little extra cash. However he got creative and asked a neighbor if he was willing to allow us to DIY and hunt his adjoining property. The land owner agreed and in 2 days we were in Ohio scouting, putting up stands and preparing for our first hunt. Even though it was a DIY operation and we didn’t get the full experience of hunting with Jason at OTWO, thanks to him I was successful in harvesting my first ever Ohio deer! He helped drag it out of the woods and get it processed quickly. His partner Sarah made the best lasagna I’ve ever had (don’t tell my mom) and was more accommodating then any other host I’ve met over the years. I can’t say enough good things about Jason, Sarah and the OTWO operation. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know them and I am looking forward to booking a hunt again with them in the future. The lodge was spacious and inviting, food was amazing and the bucks were big! I would highly recommend OTWO for anyone looking for a top notch Ohio outfitting experience.
