Ohio Thrift Stores in other cities:
So much to see in this store...lots of good stuff. Went in not expecting to find much... Well I spent almost $150 on mostly clothe. N most was brand name & still with original price tags. Oh & ladies if u want to have time to see all the store leave the hubby at home...! I plan on going back soon without my hubby lol
Of all the thrift stores that Ive been in and checked out in Ohio, this was probably one of the messest. They do have a lot of items, mostly clothes, but for the most part they were overpriced. You expect to go into places like this and get a decent price on things that are lightly used and they did have an awful lot of good stuff there, its just way out of the price range you would expect for used items. The staff was very nice just not very many of them, which would explain the messiness of the place. Things out of order and laying just anywhere and everywhere. But overall we didnt care for it because it just seemed like things were just too costly for used items.
As far as the store its self its fine. But there are some changes that need to be made. I was there today and there were over 30 people waiting to be checked out. But there were only two cashiers. I see this all over in many different places. We the people give you all the customers you need so stop trying to save money and have more cashiers
I have a love hate with this thrift. If I really spend the time I can find something worth getting for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, they are the most expensive thrift in and around town. If ur lucky though....I have been in there once when The Man walked around and said EVERYTHING is half off! Thats when I walked back and got that would have been $20.00 jacket!
The clothes I looked at were all in good shape and they were on the proper rack per size. The cost per item was higher than I have seen elsewhere but I can deal with it due to their selection. I had a female friend go with me and she was able to get two nice outfits for around $25. One of those outfits included a pair of hollister jeans.
I purchased a computer monitor, couldnt test it, was told they dont have the correct cords, come to find out the screen has something wrong with it, I called to see I could exchange it for one that works...told no! I spent $14, if it was $5 I wouldnt mind so much. I used to love this place. Wont be back!
Prices are way too high!! Its supposed to be a thrift store, not a department store. Prices are the same as if you would go buy it new. . . so why buy second hand?? If your gonna pay what it costs, just buy new. Store was dirty. Clerks were not friendly or helpful. Only one cash register open, while 3 or 4 employees stood around and talked. Very disapointed in this store. I believe Ill be driving all the way to Grove City from now on when I want to go thrifting.
I love all the stores ,the items are always priced Right and selection is great. Its also going to a well meaning cause. Some items are new and those items that are used are always in excellent condition. I only shop at Ohio thrifr when it comes to thrift stores as I know they only will sell top quality merchandise.
Went to buy some shorts and since it was 8:45, they told me I couldnt try them on even though there was people trying clothes on. The manager was very rude and refused to let me. So I asked the manager if I could bring them back, if they dont fit, and she said I couldnt. Once again, was very rude. Wont go there anymore. Goodwill was way better.
Really full of nice things~ it seemed to be pretty pricey~but no surprise there~seems like once you start to shop a lil bit at these places the start going up more and more on prices?!! Looks like they would stay affordable?they should want to sell as much as they can?!! Its not like there gonna run out of clothes or merchandise any time soon~ they jack up the prices up so much once people start shopping there they just quit cause it gets rediclous~i mean dam,its donations?!! Get a grip?!!
They have a good selection but their prices are ridiculous, everything they get is donated lower the prices on things and they would sell a lot more poor people would have trouble buying things there I live on a fixed income and I can get new things at a store priced better that is sad, the more they sell the more they would make who runs these places? An the colors they pick for discounts you cannot find any of them whats up with that? I am going to go elsewhere I cannot believe their prices!
Ridiculously, outrageously overpriced! Whoever is in charge of pricing the items for these stores needs to realize this is NOT MACYS!! Its a THRIFT STORE, selling USED merchandise which was DONATED to them! Low income families come here looking for deals and for some even looking to them as a source for school clothes for their kids! Seriously, get over yourselves! The clothes are still faded or have holes or stains on them. If I could afford to pay NEW prices for clothes, I would go to a mall and buy them brand new.
This thrift store has been one of my normal stopping points during a day of thrift shopping for ages. However as time goes by it holds my interest less. Not sure when silent auctions became part of the thrift experience but maybe it was when thrift stores started charging 10 bucks for used clothes that was donated. The back area electronics that used to be one of my favorite areas to search through had become sparse and filled with things that would not sell at a yard sale. The kids toy section has seemed to improve while the mend clothes went down hill. There is still a good book section to dig through and they still have the car auction. The customer service is something that severely lacks at times but at least they are friendly. It still remains part of my circuit on thrift day even if its just a quick stop.
I was over charged over 80 dallors , when every thing I got had a tag. I had already added up around what it should have been and that was 50 at the most with taxes. Some way she pushed in tags for what ever reason when they had them. If I would have not been watching and knowing what I got than what. So everyone keep an eye cause I wasnt the only one in line today that come back or stopped before paying. Even if she didnt mean to do it some people may not pay attuide like some do and go there to save money not to be over charged. It come up to 134 and my total was only 43. Wow
Ive been shopping/donating at Ohio Thrift Stores for years. Started when I became a single mother of 3 children. I am shocked at the increase in prices here. Its gotten to the point where I cant afford to buy items here anymore. Sad, when people who are struggling financially lose out because others get so greedy making money off of donated items.

2022-07-16Let me say this! This place was a God send! My mother had just got her place and was ready to move in and she needed furniture! It was late I think we were losing hope, she needed same day delivery! We walked in and felt welcomed instantly! My mom found her furniture and asked could be it delivered that day! This is a family owned business and let me tell you he went out of his way to make sure my mom got her furniture that night! Praise God! They showed up in a half hour, delivered it, and put together. They were so nice and patient! I’d give a 10 if I could. May God bless this business abundantly!

2022-06-29An average thrift store with much potential for some great deals and surprises. So far, I do not remember finding any particular thing I considered buying in there, but who knows? Fingers crossed! Great staff, nice shelves and racks, and good collection of books and clothes!

2022-06-11They have some good stuff, but I dont know why these stores feel the need to punch holes through clothing. I buy doll clothes which they should be lucky that someone wants to buy in the first place. They have no real value, but I still buy them as one of the few great doll collectors left. Theyve totally ruined clothing by punching multiple holes through them to connect them all. Why not put them in a plastic bag if youre selling them in a lot? They do this with all clothing, but the doll clothing is particularly bad. Its not like theyre going to be stolen if they get separated out. The doll clothes are sold for $1.99 for a bundle. If they are stolen, again, theyre virtually worthless except to the few of us brave souls who come trudging in here to dig them out from the back of the bottom toy shelves.

2021-04-24I absolutely love this place man. You can go here to get some super swag on the low as well as some absolutely fire rarities. My best find to date is a Space Jam Era Looney Tunes denim button down circa 1998. This is the cheapest place to get decent furniture and home decor that I know of. Love, love, love it and thanks to everyone involved!
