How come it is EVERY TIME I go an OSU facility they hurt me…I had shoulder surgery on March 22,my shoulder feels great my mouth on the other hand is in more pain than I’ve ever been in and I didn’t even have any surgery on my mouth….got home from surgery and realized my lingual frenulum was completely torn and pouring blood. Called and talked with dr nasser and she said I was trembling and biting down when I woke from surgery…that’s great but what tore my lingual frenulum on the bottom of my tongue…the air tube goes over the tongue and down the throat, however my mouth looks and feels like they tired to push the air tube through my tongue and I couldn’t have possibly been biting down on anything…I have false teeth and didn’t have them n my mouth during surgery….I’ve already got my insurance company and medical board investigating another one of your drs….I guess I’d better call them about this one too

I had shoulder surgery here and all the doctors, nurses and staff are amazing! They make you feel very comfortable and keep you informed about everything. They also kept my boyfriend updated on where I was and what was going on, anytime he could be with me they made sure he was by my side. The facility is very clean and easy to find with lots of parking. I will always recommend to anyone that can have surgery here to do so!

My husband had hip surgery here and the very first thing I was pleased about, besides cleanliness and following all COVID guidelines, was the friendliness of the staff. We interacted with three people during the check-in process: the first- a woman to take our temperature and offer a fresh mask (which I accepted), the second- a seated woman to check him in, the third- Whitney, who put his wristband on and offered me what was available in the seating/waiting area, she also handed me her card if I was to go to my car and had any questions or concerns, pointed me to where the restroom was, and was very, very polite and friendly. Whitney was excellent, as well as the other two women I had spoken to. Even though my husband was nervous about his surgery, we both felt comfortable with how we were being treated. I can’t thank them enough for making this experience five stars for the both of us!

This entire facility is amazing! Its very accessible due to its location just off of 315. The facility itself is beautiful. They have it set up so that there are two staff people right at the entrance to greet you and get you registered for your appointment, no matter where it is in the building. My daughter has seen a physician here, been to physical therapy here, and even had surgery in the building. The staff members in each different department are amazing. From the registration staff to the nurses, the physical therapists and the physicians....everyone is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and very customer service oriented. We had a great experience here. Highly recommend if you need physical therapy or some kind of orthopedic surgery.

I had knee surgery on Sept 11,2019 and had exceptional care and treatment from Dr Flanagan and his office staff. However, the Physical Therapy Department (specifically the people who handle the braces) is nowhere near the professionalism that is experienced by everyone else in this building! I was told by the PT that my brace would arrive at my house and that I had to immediately bring it to her so I could be fitted for it prior to surgery. It arrived while I was working the day before surgery. I took off work and drove 67 miles one way to be fitted. However, I did not need that brace until five weeks later! The PT seemed to have no regard for inconveniencing me for a completely unnecessary trip! When I returned to OSU for a follow up appointment I was referred to the brace department for training in adjusting the brace, because I had forgotten how to fit it from the five minute training I had received in September. I think the brace department should have better communication and knowledge with and about the doctors expectations post surgery.

The ladies. At the desk on the 3rd floor ar physical therapy are really nice. They can make me smile when Im having a bad day or bad attitude. Katie the massage therapist is awesome! I had never had a massage before coming here and she made the experience great. She explained everything clearly and we always have great discussions. Plus the massages really help with my medical issues. Prices are reasonable and everything was discussed up front. I only had one issue with a payment and it was resolved quickly. Great place, beautiful building.

Pretty surprised anyone rates this place more than a star. The completely and utterly ridiculous prices they are trying to charge for super basic care is unbelievable. For example:One physical therapy appointment $534.00!NOTHING indicating the care received is written in the mailed statement. It simply says “Physical Therapy.”Actual care received:Visit with the PT included 1h of the PT showing the exercises and handing out a blurry black and white paper on them. Cheap rubber band cut from a roll to assist in exercise.I cannot get over the pricing. They are insane. Anyone going here is getting seriously and viciously screwed.Nothing special about the care at all.It is a really expensive building, though! The PT (likely a student) isn’t getting paid $534.00. Maybe $50 for the visit if they’re the attending.$534.00!!!!!Something good? I guess it is clean and most everyone there seem nice.

Had orientation at OSU take place here, it was a great facility! Very well maintained and cleaned. Staff were great, helpful and more than willing to answer questions. Restrooms were kept up and clean. This is another new facility from OSU with great architecture and layout. I was impressed with every aspect of it. Very clearly marked and easy to find with a ton of parking!

I accompanied my mom to her appointment with Dr. Pongonis, who was referred to us by an excellent spinal specialist she had seen recently. That doctor had also referred her to a physical therapist who she had been seeing regularly leading up to the appointment with Dr. Pongonis and was seeing amazing results. She had gone from being almost immobile and in debilitating pain due to SI joint issues to being almost pain free in about a month, but we had scheduled this appointment a while back and decided to go anyway just to get some tips going forward. Here are some quotes that came out of Dr. Pongonis mouth:After drawing the S curve of the spine on a napkin, he proceeded to say If I brought this to an architect and told him to build me a building with an I beam shaped like this, it would be the most unstable structure. The shape of the human spine guarantees injury and pain.Mr. Sports Medicine apparently doesnt have a full understanding of how muscles and soft tissues make the human body different from an inanimate building, or perhaps doesnt want to empower his patients by sharing that fact.He then says:9/10 people you see walking out of here have recurring back problems, and youre one of them. Im one of them. Ive been a back patient since college and always will be.Mom says, discouraged...Okay, I just want to make sure I dont end up completely debilitated and in a wheelchair again (my mom is only in her mid 50s by the way). His response? A shrug of the shoulders and I wish I could promise you that, but like I said the spine is just not built for success.I say So what do you have to say about the people who have never had back injuries? He says I think theyre lying. He left the room having offered us no recommendation for exercises or therapy, no advice WHATSOEVER. This entire visit, all he did was essentially try to convince my mother that she will likely be back in a wheelchair again at LEAST once throughout her life.My mother knows better and so do I, but the concerning thing is how many of his patients he has left with this same pessimism who actually believe him. The placebo effect scientifically proves that what we believe about our body actually influences our symptoms and healing. How many people will stay broken forever and give up on their healing because this man tells them theyre doomed.Doctors are in the business of healing and helping, this man is doing a terrible job of that. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Honestly I hope he never throws his back out again so he can see that healing is possible. I wish we could get our money back for detestable medical experiences the way we could get our meals comped and return retail items. This was a waste of time and a huge disappointment.
