Since my youngest was born he has been to more hockey games than I have. HE LOVES HOCKEY! And OSU Ice Rink offers lessons so for the last two years hes been getting on his blades, picking up speed, turning faster and being the largest kid on the ice! Great place for kids to learn to skate and to learn hockey!! Go Bucks! Go Jackets! Go Jacob!

2019-01-26Its a nice venue to watch, Ohio State Womens Ice Hockey. Its a little cold inside and its a smaller building, but overall a good venue.

2022-03-24Got to watch some inexperienced people play hockey. It was great.Update: the open skate here is great. Might be a good idea to bring your own skates though if you can. They dont have a ton of skates to rent. But place is super cheap. Way cheaper than the chiller and better in my opinion. Great time.

2019-03-05We come for the Women’s College Hockey when they have home games. The parking and games are both free! (Unless it’s a playoff game at the end of the season, then it’s $8). Open seating in the bleachers and sometimes the athletic band stops in. All around a great time.

2022-03-13Great place, but for a national semi-final game should have been moved to the Schot

2020-02-22Its nice place to enjoy OSU womens hockey for free on regular season games. Parking free too. If you are lucky, may get a free t-shirt too while cheering for your Buckeyes. Its really good for young hockey players.

2018-03-02We take our daughter to the Columbus Figure Skating Group classes here. We love the atmosphere and how cozy the rink is. Its perfect to come here to watch the Buckeyes play here (free Womens College Hockey). Our daughter loved watching them play and is inspired to become a hockey player now.

2019-11-17Great first pair of skatesI have purchased my first pair of ice skates and they are wonderful! I have improved leagues just from having my own skates. Would definitely recommend getting your own. 1st blade sharpening is free with purchase. However now that Ive gotten more knowledge, they did not heat mould my skates. If they dont offer this or expect you to just know, ask them about it. Maybe they dont offer it, idk. I had them order me a newer pair at the time but they never got back with me, which was fine because my coach found a better place to get them from and they heat mould them there too.Ive been coming here for a while now. I can def say. Its not me. The staff members arent the greatest. And Ive observed long enough to be able to say this. Mostly unprofessional; towards everyone. This is the only place where the ice can have chunk patches. Be careful if you come here. Avoid the discolored ice spots or you will face plant.

2018-02-11Love the shop. I bought some skates there and the staff is super knowledgeable and nice. Ive gone back to have them punched out and such... Theyve been really great and helpful. It feels like they really care that I have comfortable skates and a good experience.
