Very, very good pizza. Crust was tasty but a bit wet...probably because I ordered a ton of veggies. Ill ask for well done next time. The sauce is incredible and a little sweet. Toppings were incredibly fresh. Very much looking forward to the opening of the Rocky River store!
The BEST PIE around!! Never ever a let down. The staff there is fantastic!! All the pizza is great including the classic ones, the monthly specialty pie, and the brunch pies!In addition to the pies... the COOKIES are to die for! They are the best. Always crazy good new flavors to try out. At least once a week Ill be driving home from work and pass thru just to get a bag full of cookies to eat throughout the week.I know Brunswick has about 100 pizza places. But really only needs one... Ohio Pie!
I have been wanting to try this place for months. Well worth the wait! Pizza crust was very crispy but not overly thin. Toppings were delish. Tried the twice baked potato pie..... and I highly recommend it. But the cookies are really what blew us away. Quite simply some of the best cookies Ive ever eaten.
We are big fans of Ohio Pie! The people, the pizza and the cookies are the best around. There’s no wrong choice, just depends on what you like, and they have lots of options! They’re also vegan friendly. Some of our favorites- the paradise and fiestada. You can’t go wrong with the classic pepperoni or their version of the delux. Heat up left overs in the air fryer (if you have any) and I promise it’s even better the next day.
Super nice staff and delicious pizza. Sweet, but not overly sweet traditional sauce, perfectly cooked chicken for the Buffalo chicken we ordered, and the party bread was delicious! The cookies are wild and awesome. A little pricey compared to other pizza joints but worth every penny to support local and a great group of peopleA
Never had a bad experience here. The pizza is excellent and the cookie selection is top notch; you wont find another pizza place like this anywhere else (except if you go to the Rocky River location). The employees at Ohio Pie are friendly and will give you recommendations if youre unsure what to order. Highly recommend!
Brunswick is deceptive in that you would not expect there to be so many good pizza options in a small area. However, Ohio Pie tops them all. Pictured is the Uncle Tony - peppadew peppers, egg, cheese + bacon on everything crust. The building is in a great location and the service is always quick. The price is a little higher than some places but the food is worth it. You absolutely get what you pay for! Ive never had a bad pie from this place and highly recommend it. I have friends who live in Canton and every time the come to visit they insist we order Ohio Pie.
I don’t understand all the positive reviews. I had high hopes since I’ve heard good things. Sadly it didn’t live up to the hype. The crust is chewy and not in a good way. We ordered three pizzas. The firebird which is probably the worst Buffalo chicken pizza we’ve ever had. The flavors just don’t work together at all. The other two were good as far as flavor goes. But the crust absolutely ruins the whole thing. There were a lot of toppings on all of them which was a plus. We got some cookies too. They were good…..it’s a cookie. If they weren’t generous with the pizza toppings I would’ve given two stars. Maybe we came on a bad day or the Brunswick location is better but we won’t be back. There’s too many other good pizza shops in the area.
Very tasty! I got the Burly Boy and I didnt know what to expect, 1st time customer, but it is very good. Lots of flavors! I only eat thin crust usually but I actually like the dough. Sauce is just sweet enough. Everything was done on topUndercooked toppings are the worst! Now lemme tell ya about those damn 🍪 🍪..I got the vegan lemon..holy h&!! was that delicious!! Ill be back! And spread the word 😉
Don’t believe the hype! I would say the pizza is pretty good but it’s so greasy that it bled through the box and ruined my pants. The sauce ratio is so bizarre. I’ll take a bunch of bites with no sauce then, bam! Sauce overload for one bite. Plus they NEVER make my pizza well done! I don’t know if the employees think I’m telling them to do a good job making my pizza or what but either way, a swing and a miss.
Very creative and tasty pizza, the inside has a great design. Cookies were good too! Its fun to go with friends too since they have arcade games to play while you wait on the pizza. Even when theyre busy the wait times not too bad. Great place, great aesthetic, and great food. My personal favorite pizza shop!
It’s not good. The crust is like frozen pizza quality. Got a buffalo chicken pizza and it almost tasted and felt as if they dumped buffalo chicken dip on top of plain white bread. Chucky Cheese is better. And they cut the slices in squares no thanks. This is not a good representation of Ohio pizza.
Very friendly staff, accommodating to pickiness 😊 Some of The best pizza Ive ever had! My daughter had the vegan basic b w vegan chicken, so good, she couldnt stop raving about it. I got the heart burner, SO good! Crust is delish, toppings are generous, and still good then next day. Sometimes leftover pizza just isnt good. This was! Their cookies, are a whole nother level. I def would try a few, I highly doubt youd be disappointed with anything you get there! I wish they would open another on the east side. We just happened to be down the street he day we went. But will be back for sure!
Gave me the wrong pizza (check before you leave). Got a new pizza after wasted time beck and forth since they dont offer delivery. Got home and it was a great pizza, extra taste with fxing hair in the pizza. #woke. F this place. Zero experience running a business. Oh, to add I was there about a month ago picking up pizza (no delivery) and the cashier and cook were arguing to the point of uncomfort where customers could hear. No manager in sight to correct the behavior.
Not the pizza capital of the world, but NEO (Northeast Ohio) has some good places to grab a pie. The Ohio Pie Co. is undoubtedly one of - if not the - best. True to rustbelt roots the pizzas are more thin, round, Detroit-style, so its a bit bready but balanced with a slight crispiness around the edges. Theyre always topped with decadent, wonderful, and inventive combinations (the accompanying not-so-secret pickle pie picture as testimony) and you get the sense that they very much care about their pizzas. Its probably offensive to shops that cater to authentic, thin, and sparse Napoli (or even New York) pizzas and there are better places to go for that; but if you just want something that tastes good and has bread and has cheese, this is it and you need to go no further.
Vegan pizza is next level and the vegan party bread is a delight. There are no losers in your vegan pizza lineup, its basically everything Ive been hoping for and more. Pictured is the Heart of It All pie which I call the grandma style bc its definitely rib sticking good with the everything faux meat toppings.
Very pleased with this pizza shop, super friendly staff and cool shop. This is a medium 2 topping (Italian sausage and black Olive) pizza. The crust is delicious my kids who normally dont eat the crust ate it and loved it too! The shop is small but has three 4 person tables inside along with bar stools seating along the window and a few 2 person tables outside. They have a cooler of bottles and cans of pop and water. Prices are great and quality pizza and service!!
I got an Ohio pizza pie tonight and the crust was so amazing. Why? perfectly brown on the bottom and so soft it melts in your mouth. We got a vegan pie with onions, green peppers, mushrooms and the worlds best vegan sausage. Absolutely a taste treat extraordinaire! Its worth the drive.
I am absolutely amazed at how tasty this pizza is. I consider myself a connoisseur of fine Pizza, and this raced up the ranks to the top five for sure! The crust is perfect and the sauce is on the sweeter side… But it works absolutely amazed. I want to go back and get more pizza when I just ate the darn stuff!
Ohio Pie Co is the best!! The regular and vegan pizzas are equally amazing! I was unable to eat dairy for a while (doctor’s orders) and really missed pizza. Then someone bought me a vegan pizza from here. It may sound dramatic, but it got me through my year of not eating dairy. If youve ever had forced dietary restrictions, you’ll understand how amazing it is to find a substitute that tastes great. This is my favorite pizza place in Ohio or possibly anywhere. Also, the cookies are really good. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out.
So let me add to the long list of wonderful things that are said about this place! Non-stop flow of business but staff were very nice, and the pizza was everything you would want it to be 😊 I called ahead and the pizza was ready when we arrived. last day of carbs for a bit, this was excellent. Hit every taste note! Chocolate chip cookie was dead on! I just wish I had bought milk to go with it!!!
This is the best pizza me and my boyfriend have ever had. The crust is perfect, crunchy on the outside, fluffy and soft inside. The sauce and toppings are unbelievably flavorful. I wish there was an Ohio pie in Wooster, Ohio. That’s our only complaint that there isn’t pizza this good closer to home.
Hands down best pizza I have had since moving to Ohio. Only once did I not eat the pizza they made. It was one of the specialty pizza they put out, I think a cheesesteak one. It was way to salty the second time we had it. The first time we had it we loved it. Think it was just a fluke. Still our go to for pizza.
This place came highly recommended, and they are a bit pricey, so my hopes were high. First, let me say, that pizza is one of those things that is very subjective, so dont let my opinion sway you entirely. But I always thought pizza was one of those things that, even when it was bad, it was still good... this isnt. I actually gagged. First, it is quite greasy, but that I could ignore. Second, it seems to be made with sugar in the sauce. On the pepperoni and other topped pizzas, you can kind of ignore it because of the other flavors, but on a cheese, well it is like a warm cheese and tomato danish... not good. The bread is unusual. I think it had riccota cheese, which gave it a weird texture, but the taste was ok. But, as i said, try for yourself. Maybe youll like it sweet.
Always great customer service and very speedy despite how busy they get at times. Most of the time I believe pizza to be the most overrated food but not in this case. Some of the best food ever. Nicks pick, Heart of it All, or Piggy Bird are my go to! Owner is most of the time working the register when Im there and is extremely friendly.
Where do I begin? If you love pickles, you need to get the pickle pizza. THE. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. I’ve had almost every single type of pizza here and have yet to be disappointed. The owner and staff make the place such a better vibe than most pizza places. Also very reasonably priced and as long as you are not ordering in prime hours, you’ll get your pizza in less than 20 mins.
This and FATBOB are the absolute best pizza places in Brunswick. The Heart of It All is the best deluxe pizza you will ever eat and Im also pretty obsessed with the Basic B. The pizza here is notably more expensive than other pizza restaurants in the area, but you definitely get what you pay for! I definitely agree with Cleveland Scene ranking them the #3 best pizza restaurant in NE OH for 2021!
Hello foodies this is Steven the foodie guy I just want to say I wasnt me personally I wasnt too impressed with this place the sauce did not even taste like nothing just tasted like a jar of marinara sauce open up and it just wasnt tasteful the crust I really didnt really care for the crust either Chris wasnt chewy it was like just like solid like and the toppings look really nice presentable and I just dont I wasnt too impressed I dont know why everyones I mean I get it everyone has different taste buds but this I dont see how this is it can be a five I mean honestly I mean I tried to Pizza Hut and was just okay I tried the pizza cold it didnt taste any different than when it was hot it just tasted like just like basic cardboard with like marinara sauce on a piece of cardboard so when I go back there again probably not and this was the first time I ever went there now the cookies now are Ill standing they have a whole case I didnt buy them but they look very good I should have bought the chocolate chip one cheesecake or something like that I should have but I didnt so I cant give no no comment on the cookies whatsoever just my opinion thats all and you have it all have a blessed
The rumors are true, Ohio Pie is arguably the best pizza experience in Ohio. Me and my gf drove nearly 3 hours to give it a try after following them on social media for a while and it was 1000% worth it! You are not only getting some bomb pizza and some of the best cookies youve ever had (cookies that could give even Sunset Farms a run for there money), but you are being immersed in a hip and stylish eatery that makes you feel like you are in the know of an awesome secret. Its as if Mellow Mushrooms interior wasnt designed in a masturbatory corporate brainstorm that had been focus tested to no end.To reiterate: the food is great, the wait is moderate, the prices are fair, and the owner is on to something with his signature style of both pizza and atmosphere. Ohio Pie could very well be the next Melt.
Honestly I’d give 10 stars if I could. We tried 3 different pizzas and each one was great. Cheese for the kids, the Heartburner, and the Piggy Bird. These guys love what they’re doing and it shows. This is so much better than the chain pizza places… it was worth the 45min drive. Pizza was dynamite. Customer service was A+. We’ll be back.
Tried for the first time and loved it! The crust might be my favorite of any pizza I have tried, its thick and fluffy, without being doughy. Glad we got to try the Fiestada pie, as it was absolutely my favorite (but all three of the pizzas we got were really good!). Will definitely be back!
I don’t want to leave this review because I don’t want the rest of the world to know how good this pizza is so I don’t have to share... with that being said don’t sleep on Ohio Pie. It’s amazing. Pizza, amazing. Cookies, amazing. Vegan options that don’t taste like cardboard, amazing. The staff, amazing. If I could convince my husband we’d eat it more than once a week it’s that good.
Ohio Pie Co. has the absolute best vegan pizza! Their vegan cookies are phenomenal. Any time Im in the area, I have to pick something up because how could I not? Its the best, really. Every interaction Ive had has been great, everyone is super nice. When I get pizza from Ohio Pie Co., I know Im getting high quality and delicious food. Its obvious that they put a lot of love into everything they do. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Tried this spot for the first time yesterday. I’ll start out by saying that the pizza (and the cookies) here are amazing! Without a doubt one of my new favorite pizza spots in the area. That being said, the experience wasn’t the best. I was there catching up with a friend who I don’t get to see a whole lot, getting a bite to eat after a football game down the road and it was 10:30 and we got approached by someone from the kitchen and were asked to wrap it up and that we’d “been here since 9:30”. I worked in a restaurant for a while, I understand the annoyance of having customers there before and during close. I used to have 10 tables there past close, but what we never did was say anything like that. We were the only ones in there. Sitting at one table, not being rowdy or making a mess. If you close at 11, I don’t see the issue at all. Anyways, the lady at the counter was nice and the food was good.
Let me just say that it was well worth the drive. Every vegan ingredient used tasted amazing. I finally got to see what all of the hype was about and Im not sure I can eat pizza from anywhere else. Great pizza is hard to come by but great vegan pizza is almost impossible. You guys did not disappoint
Extremely let down. Got a deluxe pizza. It was undercooked, almost zero sauce on it(throughout the pizza were random tsp’s of sauce place ON TOP of the cheese), some of the toppings were cooked well and others hardly at all(pepperoni was cook just enough to loosen it up but the sausage was crispy), it was absolutely covered in oil(not grease) which poured off a slice whenever u picked it up. 1/10 would not buy againIts a shame too becuz the lil bit of sauce i tasted was PHENOMENAL. Dough/crust was great too but the execution was pittyful. They also cut it in squares which was actually a pretty solid idea. Too bad really…
Good pizza. Good service.Their red sauce is underwhelming and clearly has sugar/corn syrup added. Reminds me of Romeos sauce if youre familiar with that. Personally I cant stand sweet sauce. Thankfully the white sauce is a real winner.Great crusts, great toppings, friendly employees.Definitely on the higher side of pricing as well.
Maybe I had to high of expectations because of how people talk this place up. Im not going to say its bad pizza but it is not even close to as great as its portrayed to be. Not even top ten. Just another grease wheel pizza place that has no business charging more than the $6.99 that Marcos charges for the same quality pizza.
Best pizza place in Brunswick and Brunswick has a ton of pizza places. Piggy bird pizza is incredible! Heck anything they make is awesome! Try the pickle pizza and you’ll be like holy hell my taste buds just exploded in my mouth. Staff is super friendly. Keep pumping out those amazing pizza’s!
Wow wow wow wow wow. There is not a pizza place any better. Incredible options, taste and service EACH time! The staff also does an amazing job of helping out other restaurants in the community. Highly encourage you to stop for a pizza experience that will blow your mind!
I wouldnt go there again. Im really not a fan of sweet sauce, and this was the sweetest sauce Id ever had on pizza. The crust was very good and the cheesy bread was incredible, but then we were given the same sauce for dipping. I had heard a lot about this place, and the sauce was a huge letdown.
I it is exactly what it should be given the name and claim...Fantastic 48 hour cold proofed dough. Good toppings. Unique spiral sauce pattern.Personally I am not a huge fan of sweetened sauce but if youre going to call it Ohio style it is expected and necessary. This is the first great pizza I have had with sugar in the sauce and it definitely brings up the rest.Oh. And theres a donut shop next door so...
Ohio pie Pizza is some of the best pizza you will ever buy. They are always very quick with our orders and we have never been disappointed once with their Pizza. You really need to check it out. Large portions very delicious and the pricing is pretty good. I highly recommend it.
Just moved to the neighborhood. A guy at work suggested this place. I would be in trouble if this place delivered! Ordered the heart of it all and it was delicious! My order was ready when they said it would be. My food was hot and fresh. The customer service was friendly. The price is acceptable. My ONLY suggestion (not a downfall tho) is to invest in fresh mushrooms. They make a world of a difference.Overall, we will be back & I highly recommend. Can’t wait to try the brunch pizza!
Usually I am unimpressed with the vegan options at restaurants and even fully vegan establishments are sometimes disappointing because they only serve stuff like organic quinoa and kale! Ohio Pie Company is the place Ive been looking for all my life. My husband and I have tried ALL of the vegan options and they are SO DANG GOOD! We eat Ohio Pie Co almost every week. And did I mention the VEGAN COOKIES?! #WhatFatVegansEat
I have been a big pizza person since before I had a choice. my grandfather was all about pizza every Friday like a religion. therefor I have had my fair share of pizza from more places then I can count. this place has blown me away on the quality of their pizza and ingredients used. you really can taste the fresh ingredients. this now holds the title in my book for best pizza I have had. keep up the great work!
This place has the best pizza. I live an hour away and willing to make the drive for it. The cookies are incredible as well. The vegan options are top notch too! (And I’m not even vegan!) They are always friendly and smiling. The phones may get busy but I promise it’s worth the wait if you keep trying.
One of the best pizzas I have had. Yes the sauce is on the sweet side, but I think that adds to the pizza and flavor. The crust is a perfect mix between thin crust and pan pizza. When you are there indulge in one of their amazing cookies my favorite is the birthday cake, but they mix them up all the time. I normally dont write reviews but Im tired of seeing 1 star because they put rules in to keep the employees and customers safe. I have had to call for 15 minutes to get through but it is worth the wait. Also not once have any of the employees been rude to me and we order from there once a week. So be patient and you wont be disappointed
Ohio Pie is legit the OG when it comes to pizza! The pies are absolutely delicious. We have a weekly ritual to get a pie from Ohio Pie. Legit! They need to start a membership program or something because their pizza is that good. Don’t get me started on their cookies. Legit the best cookies! Every time we go, we get a different cookie to try. Our bill use to be $10 for a medium cheese pizza but now since trying their cookies it’s $20 every time. If you are in the mood for a different style of pizza or need a recommendation for a pizza joint, call them NOW!!!! #OhioPie
Very good. My only qualm with Ohio Pie Co is the presumption that all of Ohio is somehow homogeneous in it’s pizza preferences. Youngstown area has a great and well established pizza tradition already. Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati... Steubenville! All these places have their own styles, some of which are quite unique. I think any pizza claiming to be true “Ohio Style” needs to reconcile with all of what Ohio pizza is. Otherwise, why not just call it “Brunswick Style”? Chicago doesn’t claim “Illinois Style”. Detroit isn’t “Michigan Style”. Even New York only claims the city and not the entire state and they could probably rightfully claim “American Style” if they wanted to. You know?Anyway, good pie, still. End rant.
I have been a vegan for the past year and I was resigned to the reality that I would never eat pizza again. Until my son introduced me to Ohio Pie Co. when he brought a couple large vegan pizzas to my birthday party. Wow!! What an amazing pizza! We all kept saying, are you sure its not real!?! The toppings are delicious and the cheese is great. Now I just buy vegan pizzas from them and store them in the freezer - a delicious snack or meal always on hand! In fact, I am going to get a piece and pop it in the oven right now.
I would say we order maybe once a month. Amazing every time. Usually get a specialty pizza or two. The Piggy Bird is my go-to and the Basic B is my wife’s favorite. Finally tried the Pickle Pie and was just as satisfied as I anticipated. Tonight we got those three plus a regular pepperoni just as a comparison and loved it. Best part is: when I call and order, they typically say it’ll be ready in 20 minutes and it takes about 20 minutes to get there from my house. Boom! Solid pizzas, solid cookies, solid company.
I ordered 3 different pizzas. 1 large and 2 small. Asked for extra sauce on one of the small ones. Couldnt even see any sauce. I called them and there answer was- you can bring it back or come get a side of sauce. Wasnt going to waste 30 more minutes to get there and 30 minutes to get back home. Very poor customer service and she said she was a manager on top of that! It was a small, not even the large one. Wont be going back their anytime soon. 😕 not even a I am sorry
I placed an order for a large pizza with mushrooms sausage and extra cheese. The cost was $19, I felt it was expensive, but I would give it a whirl. When I got home the pizza was huge and was well worth the cost. The crust was really good and the pizza was fresh. The sausage crumbles were tasty, however I feel I didnt receive extra cheese and after I viewed a few of the photos of pizzas on this Google page, I didnt much cheese at all, but things happen. I was still happy with my purchase.
First off, this place is amazing. Their pizza is so well crafted and the diversity in toppings are outstanding. They cater to vegan and vegetarians without compromising their overall menu for the average person.Secondly, they are absolutely a pillar of the community in the way theyve supported those in need through the quarantine. Glad to continue to support this place, now and in the future!
Best best BEST vegan pizza I have ever had! I live about 50 minutes from this place so it is hard to go without it for a long time. Whenever I am remotely close to Ohio Pie Co, I can easily justify driving there to buy a pizza. The staff is super friendly as well. 5 stars!
Ohio Pie Co is very clear on their style of pizza, so you absolutely know what to expect. They were crazy busy the Friday we decided to drive down and try them out. It literally took an hour of calling before we made it through and they were clear the time would be 45min. But that worked out perfectly because we live 25-30 min north. Driving that far and waiting that long for pizza, the entire family decided to hop in the car and have a mobile pizza picnic. No way were we going to risk lukewarm pizza here. So we did. 45 min later, two super hot out of the oven pies. Throwing tradition out of the wind, (it is OHIO stye) we got the fried pickles pizza, a secret item, and the Hawaiian. What a great duo. Salty vs sweet. Guys...its good. Its a splurge, there is nothing diet friendly about it, but it is worth the wait and the extra effort if this style is your thing. Cleveland being the foodie city it is, I hope they open a shop closer to me. I humbly suggest Old Brooklyn 😉😉.
Edited to add: the girl who works the front is very rude. She was rude the first time, wrote it off as her having a bad day. Second time was rude again. Still wont deter me from ordering this pizza, though, and still 5 stars!Tried this place tonight and it is some of the best pizza Ive ever had! Also picked up some cookies. Absolutely amazing! Cant wait to go back.
I dont understand they hype on this place could just be the area. The pizza is no different than any other large food chain Ive been told so many times its the best but people must be blind. I should open up next door my homemade pizza would blow this out of the town. What a shame
This pizza is sooo good! Our group ordered the leftover thanksgiving, fried pickle, and a plain pepperoni. I tried the pepperoni and I was hooked immediately. The crust was perfect and the sauce flavor was great. The thanksgiving one was definitely interesting, in a good way, and fun for everyone to try. I did not try the pickle one but a few people swore by it being delicious. I also got a few cookies all of which were baked to perfection and delicious. Not to mention the people in the store were very helpful as well. The store is cute. No delivery, and a few tables inside for dining if you want. There is a drink cooler for beverages.
If this place captures what Ohio has to offer, it may be time to consider moving.Against advice of judging a place by its pepperoni pie we ordered the Heart of it All, both versions.I dont mind canned mushrooms, but NOT on pizza.4 stars for fresh ones. Not being overcharged brings 5.2 sides of party sauce and the oil was separated, wife and MIL got sick, & upon reheat, I feel crummy.Birthday dinner turned birthday dud. :(And $5 a cookie? Come on now!
Delicious and different! I loved it. The pizzas are big and they have fun specialties pies. well worth the price! When they first opened I thought, oh great another pizza place, but now they are my favorite pizza place! Hooray for Ohio Pie! PS the sauce is different from other places so just have an open mind.
The bio-dome pie is amazing. I would highly recommend ordering your next family pizza night from Ohio Pie Co. Also it was nice seeing everyone inside wearing masks at such a tough time for our small businesses. The shop is also very clean. A+++ on the pizza and service!
Ohio Pie Co. not only has delicious pizza, with creative options, as well as, freaking amazing cookies, they also take great care to stay true to the quality of their product and safety of their customers. People who complain about busy phone lines or cannot read directions that have been clearly stated and in place for weeks, only have themselves to blame for any issues. It is criminal to poorly rate this establishment because they care about their customers, their service, and the quality of their food. If you want sloppy, quick slung pizza, there are plenty of chains out there, CALL THEM INSTEAD. However, if you want fresh and delicious pizza made by people who truly care about what they do, and who they serve, then give Ohio Pie Co. your business. They are the real deal.
Was trying to talk to the lady behind the counter as I picked up my pizza when my husband (who is away) called, so I had to answer. We grew up here in Brunswick and weve been away for a very long time. Our town has had some good pizza places in its time, that we remembered, but I wanted to tell her that since weve come back that Ohio Pie has been *THEE PLACE*. We were disappointed where we were on the west coast, because Ohio seems to just... know pizza and they did not. Every mom and pop place we had gone where we used to live was the same- soggy, flavourless crust, bland sauce- and exact same boring toppings no matter where you went. It was a sad affair being an Ohioan that loves pizza that was lost in flavourless Utah. Upon arrival home, we saw this place recommended and Ohio Pie has just BLOWN anything we ever remembered about Ohio pizza places out of the water!! Ohio Pie Co was the absolute best welcome home, slap to your tastebuds pizza we have ever had! Seriously if you love pizza- go here. You wont leave disappointed. Best crust hands down, delicious choices and various sauces and toppings. They put a spin on a pie you wont find anywhere else!
We drove over an hour for the vegan pizza options, and were insanely blown away by the taste. We had 3 different pizzas. The food and atmosphere were amazing. We will be returning regularly. Best vegan pizza hands down. Way to go ohio pie! From Youngstown/Warren area!
Best pizza!!! Service is always great. One of a kind Pizza shop, with the best service!Don’t be surprised if you get greeted on the phone or in person by the owner, Nick. Very personable and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience or heard personally of one either. Ever since they opened, I heard nothing but good things about Ohio Pie and when I tried them myself, it took just that one time for me to decide they had the best pizza and it’s my go to pizza shop now.I’m a simple pepperoni pizza person, always have been, lol. Ohio Pie is the only place I will get specialty pizzas from. The Firebird has become my second favorite pizza! Highly recommend Ohio Pie to everyone, even if you happen to be be passing through Brunswick.Thank you Nick for choosing Brunswick to bring your pizza shop to!
The pizza is amazing. It sounds weird at first, a drizzle of sauce on top of the pizza?! It is delicious!! Always uses tons of fresh ingredients on top! The large are huge! Recommend to anyone who is sick of the chain pizzas! I am not a chain pizza fan, this just an example of why
I dont do 5-Star reviews often, but this place deserves it. Fresh ingredients, super nice people and very well run establishment.Right now its tough to get through in peak times, but well worth the wait. Last order I placed, I guess I got luck and got through on third try.The breakfast pies are fantastic, such great ideas (get the Bodega, I promise you will love it).Keep up the great work Ohio Pie !!
Great food, good choice of tunes (punk rock 👍), playing when you walk in. Staff is warm and inviting. They are slightly expensive but you do get a lot of pizza for the price, so its worth it, in my opinion. My wife and I enjoy getting dinner from them at least every other month.
Called late Sunday night and ordered a large pizza with extra sauce and paid for it so my girlfriend could pick it up on her way home from her parents. She gets home with it and the pizza actually has zero sauce. Perhaps they thought I said no sauce ? Its late so I called the next day. They are closed because evidently they are closed on Mondays. I call on Tuesday and they said theres nothing they can do for me since it was Sunday and now its Tuesday ? Ive driven over 30 minutes several times for this pizza but never againRidiculous customer service
This pizza is flipping a-mazing. High quality! Got the Basic B and pepperoni. A little on the pricier side but excellent taste and definitely worth the money. Crust is thick with edge to edge cheese and love that signature garlic flavor. Glad they came to Brunswick. Great for people who appreciate quality food and who accept nothing less. Will be back👌😋🍕
THE. BEST. PIZZA. Go for The Heart of it All pie. And do yourself a favor and get a brunch pie on the weekends from 9-12. Make it a Bodega and you’ll be happy you did. Prices for some of the pies may seem steep, but the pies are huge, especially when you get into the large size. And don’t forget to drop into Donut Land for breakfast for the next morning (or dessert after your pie!).
Great job and I can not stop bragging about your pizza as if I have something to do with it. I would say easily one of the top 3 I have ever had (and I have eaten a lot of pizza over the years) and definitely better and friendlier service then the other two I am thinking about. I do not get out to Brunswick very often but when I do , my kids will ask specifically if i am going to pick up pizza from Ohio Pie.
If you dont like sauce on your pizza this is a great place for you. I seriously thought they must have forgotten to put it on. We ordered the deluxe pizza, the toppings were great and I thought the crust was good but the pizza was sooo dry without the sauce my son couldnt even eat it. My other son said the piggy pie was good. But I dont think I will order from here again when there are so many other good pizza places in Brunswick to choose from.
Quite possibly my favorite pizza of all time. Quality ingredients and plenty of them, with a delicious swirl of garlic oil and sauce on top, giving the pie a slightly different taste with each bite. The crust is delightful, with just the right balance of crunch and chew. Remember old fashioned pepperoni pizza? You know, the slightly greasy but kind of decadent type? Yes, they have it. My current obsession is the fried pickle pizza. My heart hates it, but the rest of me cant stop eating. Want dessert? Get some cookies. Heck, try them all. Save one for breakfast. Eat it at 12:57 am, because youre going to be sad about waking up in a few hours for work and you will need a soul-soothing post-midnight snack. The prices are reasonable, the shop is very cool, the pie and cookies are freakin delicious, and the owner and staff are friendly and efficient. I hope they stay around for a very long time.
Best pizza place i have ever been at hands down. You can order your pizza any way you want. Every pizza is made freash. Trust me, it really puts into perspective how good pizza should taste. This place blew me away with the quality of the pizza, it is in a league of its own. I highly suggest trying it out if you have never been there.

2022-02-11Had to give them a try! Highly recommended from a family members. Not only do they have traditional pies they also offer vegan and vegetarian pies!Had to try the Kennedy pie! PACKED WITH FLAVORS AND A BIT OF HEAT! Definitely getting this one again and will try other vegan and vegetarian pies too. These pies are more of thick slice vs thin or hand tossed crust. Its a round pie cut into squares ! Loved it.We also ordered the deluxe with half chicken (the chicken was a tad bit dry) however the pie was fantastic (family was impressed).Over all this was worth a 30min drive to try out ne pie place and happy we did. They offer dine in or carry out. They also offer vegan and vegetarian cookies along with traditional cookies.I would definitely recommend stopping in and trying a new pie!

2022-02-11My first time at this pizza joint. Super delicious pizza aka Kennedy. I also got the everything on it with half chicken. The parking is ample and the store was clean. The staff was very nice and informative. The pizza crust is not my style but a little fluffy. The sauce was a little sweet but not overpowering any flavors. I will give them the business since not many places offer delicious vegan pizza. I highly recommend this spot. The seating inside was clean as well.

2022-05-13Best pizza in Ohio! Try the Basic Burner on the secret menu if you want a traditional pepperoni style pizza. The sauce is sweet but used sparingly if you’re a sauce guy like me, request some extra on the side. The secret menu has a pickle pizza. If you like pickles even a little bit do yourself a favor and give it a try. My favorite thing this store does is have a specialty pizza ( Nick’s pick) that changes about monthly. My favorites to date in order are the Ribeye pie usually available in December and the Thanksgiving leftover pie in November. Some of my friends absolutely love the Cuban pie that comes around occasionally. Ohio pie also has changing varieties baked and served daily. They are amazing! The Brunswick location features an amazing free arcade. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

2022-07-19BEST VEGAN PIZZA EVER!!! I have driven 6 hours round trip more than once for this pizza. Their vegan cheese blend and vegan house made sausage are absolutely phenomenal. I get about 6 sides of their red sauce too. The vegan cookies are so good, I wish they shipped them. Honestly, really, really amazing vegan pizza!!!!

2022-02-10Great local pizza shop! Its very casual with counter service and picnic tables. Fun wallpaper and art video games and (too) loud music.Do not skip the cookies! They are amazing - very chewy and come in really unique and interesting flavors. We got the caramel apple and chocolate chip with caramel + pretzels.Well definitely be back!

2022-04-13Ohio Pie is quickly becoming a Brunswick staple eatery. Great menu, good prices, dont believe they deliver. Nice to go and sit down and eat in their unique space. Great location, easy to find. Also nice they offer alcohol there too so you can wash down that amazing pizza with a cold beer or seltzer.

2022-06-07Always delicious food and great service. The Piggy Bird is my favorite and it has REAL chicken. I dislike fake/frozen chicken on pizza. This time I ordered some cookies and they are just as delicious! I cant wait to try their dine-in section. I just love the whole vibe of the place.

2022-06-14First time ordering a large cheese pizza from here… wouldn’t recommend going at all…. The pizza lacked sauce the sauce lacked taste the bake on the pizza was over cooked and they put some weird thick cheese substance on the cheese bread which was disgusting. The sauce only had a light sweet acidic tomato flavor and just lacked what you needed from a local pizza spot. Your better off hitting up dominos and that place is awful … not worth the up charged prices for “local” when store bought is better … don’t waste your money ..Their cookies are pretty alright tho !
