Jeff and I were told about The Place For Better Hearing by a friend. It was a remarkable visit. Stephanie, Andy, and staff was pleasant, courteous and informative walking us through the process. Would highly recommend them to anyone that requires any hearing assistance.

My 90-year-old mother received the kindest care from Dr. DeWine and staff. They were thoughtful, gentle, upbeat, and helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure she got excellent hearing aids designed for her at a price she could afford. They listened, discerned her needs, and explained everything thoroughly. I give my highest recommendation to the team at The Place for Better Hearing!
They have been my audiologist / hearing aid provider for about 8 years. Professional, courteous service, they know what they are doing. Best hearing aid dispenser / audiologist Ive been to (Ive had hearing loss and have worn aids for about 30 years). Trisha is knowlegeable, courteous, and personable. The staff is great, and they do all they can to keep their patients safe from COVID-19.
I took my mother to The Place for Better Hearing 5 years ago and shes been thrilled ever since. Dr. DeWine and her staff do a tremendous job making sure that their patients are comfortable and really feel at home during every appointment. Through numerous visits, adjustments, tunings and cleanings, The Place for Better Hearing has kept my mom happy and hearing well. I highly recommend this firm for anyone.

FANTASTIC!! I had a hearing aid that I got from “ Place for Better Hearing ” about 25 years ago. Lately my hearing has gotten worse and I tried “hearing helpers” and did no good. I am almost 70 and getting tired of saying “What did you say?”

Dr Godbey is great. She is so kind and caring. She helped my grandmother, who has dementia, communicate easier with our family because she can finally hear! Dr Godbey was extremely patient with my grandma through the entire process and treated her lovingly and respectfully. She even had my grandma laughing in her office which is a rarity these days. I have been a patient for over nine years. This is my second pair of Starkey Instruments. Dr.Trisha Billger and her staff are the reason we chose to return for consultation after moving to Indianapolis three years ago.I am thrilled that my new hearing aids have exceeded my expectations.Because of the updated technology there is no learning curve and the integration with my smartphone makes changes to environment so easy.The ability to change programs and volume with my smart phone in addition to the ears themselves is a huge plus for me.My wife really appreciates the auditorium setting which allows our TV the volume to be at an acceptable level for her.I can hear everything more clearly, with the quicker pick up and comprehension you promised.Everything is clearer, and I can hear in any situation.I highly recommend Dr. Billger and Starkey.

When I found the Place for Better hearing I had been having problems getting repairs for my hearing aids, and they werent really working that well. Since I have been going here, I have had the BEST care, not only in keeping my hearing aids always working, but getting the correct type I should have. They are GREAT.

I saw Dr Godbey recently with my wife. My wife insisted I needed a hearing aid but I didn’t believe her. Dr Godbey did a thorough ear examination and hearing test and confirmed my wife’s suspicions. She fitted me with two digital hearing aids which I love. I am so happy that I can finally hear what I didn’t realize I’d been missing . Dr Godbey was so kind and compassionate . She is very knowledgeable about the field of Audiology and provides excellent patient care
From the receptionist to the audiologist staff , they are all very friendly and helpful. I could call with a problem or walk in and their happy to help me with all my needs . They know my name by my face and I have only came in a few times.Which makes me feel very welcome . Being that I have hearing loss this will definitely be my go to place for life . My daughter had to have ear plugs made so that she could swim. She was very anxious about getting the molds due to sensiitivity and pain she has had in her ears. Dr. Godby worked with her to ease her anxiety and was able to get her fitted. The ear plugs have made her summer much more enjoyable since she can now go swimming with her friends.
The staff at A Place For Better Hearing is the best that I have ever encountered. Dr. DeWine went above and beyond to help me out. I would highly recommend this firm! If i have any more problems, I know where Im going back. Thank you again Dr. DeWine and staff!

2022-06-29The staff was incredible. They were able to work me in on short notice. The hearing examination was amazingly thorough. They took time to review all information gathered and recommended a hearing care plan moving forward.If you need new hearing aids or want to understand your if would benefit from hearing aids I would highly recommend this team!!!!

2022-07-21I went for a hearing test on 7/20. Stephanie administered the test, she was very helpful and said my hearing was the same as 2 years ago. She then explained several options I should consider for the next year; I was very pleased with the service and would recommend Ohio Hearing & Audiology to friends & family.

2021-08-26Attended with my Mom (patient) and sister first appointment. Dr. seemed very knowledgeable and had a high level of expertise. Still though wonder if some of it was a sales pitch, albeit necessary in these high pressure times. But no pressure to buy and all our questions were answered. Will update with further developments.
