I went here for leadership camp as a field trip. I of course had fun because I was missing school and it was camp and theres no such thing as a boring camp (unless youre talking boot camp). But this camp I liked a lot better than a lot of other camps that Ive gone to. Every camp instructor was really nice (especially Andy, Cleo & Julianne) and did not talk to me like Im stupid. Ive had a lot of fun at many other camps in the past. However, this experience was one that I will never forget. I had a very fun experience and I hope to be able to go again. I would go just for fun, not even as a field trip.
This is a camp that most deserves 5 stars because it is a lot of fun there many things to do there such as motor-boating, sports, and so much more. This very generous camp donates thousands of dollars to nationwide childrens hospital yearly. This camp really changed me for the better.
I often think of this place. I came here 20 years ago for a 5th grade field trip. One of my greatest memories as a kid. Out counseler was an Aussie bit I cant remember her name. She was great. Actually everyone was. Very happy I went there. I wish I could remember everything we did tho. Been a long time
This camp was and still is amazing. I was in the Kenmore High School band back in 2003. I was a freahman when we came here. We went on trust walks. I got stung by a bee on the last step. And eneded up with a beehive in my blue sweat pants. I wish i could go back. 🤓🤓🤓🤓🎼🎵🎶🎷🎸🎹🎺📯📯🎻🎻
THE CAMP WAS THE BEST I WHEN THERE FOR 6 GRADE CAMP. WE DID THE UNDER GROUND RAILROAD , WHENT ON HIKES DAY AND NIGHT , WALKED AND PLAYED IN CREEKS , HAD CAMP FIRES , WHEN IN LAKE DID NOT SWIM BECAUSE IT WAS NOT SUMMER , TUCHED ANIMAL AND BUGS , GOT MUDDY , AND DID SO MUCH MORE. THE CABINETS WERE GOOD. THE FOOD WAS THE BEST.

2021-06-03County GOP Committee held our spring dinner there for 125 people, (total sell out, was limited to only half capacity due to covid). What a great staff and food done very well!!! The facility is gorgeous, modern, and exceptional view of Leesville Lake. Highly recommended!!
