Good BMV office. Usually quicker then other similar branches I have visited. The staff is professional, efficient, and kind. I believe this location is best year after year in entire State for donations to the Childrens Save Our Sight program (believe thats the charity name). That speaks volumes not just about the staff but of the local people who say yes when asked to help. Nice that Title office & Driver testing station are in same small building.
Pleasant enough staff but the way they have their staff yell out names in the parking lot after youre given a number seems strange to me. Why not just hold something up with that number on it. It is easier to see than it is to hear you while waiting in the car and the rain and wind whipping. If I cant see it , I should not be driving. Hmm🤔
Worst customer service ever. The only reason anyone uses this place is the convenience of living close to it. 5 visits in 5 years rude every time.11:25am on Saturday (google says they close at 2pm) pull in gather paperwork and walk up. Owner/manager outside helping someone else. Finishes with him then takes a phone call. Wait for him to finish that and say we are here for a permit for my daughter. He just stands there looking at us like he didn’t know why we were there. Then says she can take the test here but she is to late. She has to be in a seat 30mins before we close. It’s now 11:35am after waiting for his phone call and he says they close at 12:00pm .I for one will never use this place again. A 20min drive to Marysville will be well worth It to never have to deal with this Obnoxious person again. Good luck to you who choose to visit.
Staff their are fast and helpful. If the line is long the gentleman who works their always steps away from the counter and takes time to go through the line to make sure people brought all the items they need to complete their process fast. Saves people from waiting in line if they forgot an item and makes the process go very smooth and fast. People get upset about waiting for a few minutes and not being able to use their phones but the sign clearly states no cell phones allowed inside which is really not a big deal but to some apparently it’s the end of the world lol. Way faster and more professional than any other BMV in the state
This is the rudest BMV in Logan County I have ever been to. we walk in there and theres a limit of seven people due to the covid which is fine, but when we walked in, there were only a few people in there . The rude gentleman Phil Tracey who acts like hes a prison guard rudely says you need to stand over here on this rug! Oh okay thanks for your kindness sir. Next I get on the phone to confirm insurance on the truck that we were getting tags for not being loud at all and the lady Ayla behind the counter leans over and loudly and rudely states you need to go outside if youre going to be on the phone! Interestingly I seen no signs posted anywhere that you could not be on the phone while inside the building. But I graciously walked outside. Then coming back in we chose a ladies booth that was open, Cynthia, and she was very pleasant and kind and treated us with respect. Thank you for that Cynthia, but as for the other two in there they definitely need reprimanded for their behaviors as this is not the first time we have been there and encountered such rudeness and disrespect. No please no thank you, nothing they act like they are the president of the United States or something!!! Hopefully someone will look into their rude disrespectful behaviors and take them down off of their high horse!
8/6/2020Today I went into the Logan County License Bureau and was asked to put on a mask. I politely replied that it is not healthy for me. The female employee with brown hair and brown eyes rudely responded Its not healthy for anyone and then stated they would give me a mask. I politely declined and asked if she was going to serve me and she quickly put her hand in the air pointing towards the parking lot while saying something I couldnt understand because of the plexiglass wall and her mask. This is an unprofessional and unacceptable behavior and should be handled accordingly. And it will be communicated to the superiors.
Signed in with a touch screen terminal very simple and easy to read I only stood in line for 10 minutes to renew my car licence plates, they were very courteous and polite and the whole process took maybe 5 minutes once I finished quick in and out much easier then the delaware ohio bmv which requires 2 or 3 forms of Id the bellefontaine bmv just 1.
Had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get tags and drivers license. There were at least 20 people ahead of me and no place to sit. The employee kept yelling at everyone to put their electronics away. Your just supposed to stand there stuffed like sardines with nothing to do just to pay a ridiculous amount of money. Will never go to this BMV again!!
Visited this facility on Saturday and witnessed and received very rude behavior. The gentleman behind the counter was less than pleasant and informed a customer that was not at the counter to put their phone away upon approaching the counter. It was done in the most unappropriate way. I too received poor service from a young lady and was informed that I was to leave the counter because there was nothing further to assist despite needing assistance and guidance. Why should the BMV adhere to different customer service practices than the rest of us. It was Saturday and all of us are sacrificing our time for home and work.
I went here on a Saturday to renew my drivers license. The women working seemed nice, but the old man is Very Rude, Controlling, and deserves to be Reprimanded or lose his job if he keeps treating people like he did, me. My phone was acting up and overheating, it kept playing the music phones do when the system starts up, it was in my purse, but I took it out to try to see if I could get it to stop doing it. He immediately said to me Im gonna have to ask you to put your phone away. Completely uncalled for, and I will probably start going to Marysville bmv instead now, because of this. I did the survey and hope I get confirmation that hes been reprimanded. He really deserves it.
Every time my husband or I have been in that BMV we have been treated extremely rude by Phil, the person in charge. He talks to people like he is a robot, very condescending, arrogant & is on a power trip. Rather than be helpful and friendly, he looks for anything he can to turn people away. I realize the State of Ohio has laws, but he takes it to the extreme. Sad thing is a nice lady that works there was helpful and helped me with my need. Phil on the other hand, brought up all that she did wrong right in front of me. Narcissistic would be a good definition of Phil. Dont understand why the State allows him to be so offensive to the public that is actually paying his salary. Plan on doing as much as we can online and avoid that place.
Went to get a state id took birth certificate, marriage license, and soc security card and I couldnt get it because I didnt bring a utility bill with my address on it. I asked to pull one up on my phone and he told me I couldnt. Sat down and had my phone out and he said put that phone away you cant have electronics of any kind in here. Probably so you cant record how they treat people. Not my fault you chose to work there. Guy was very rude.
My husband went to get is drivers license renewed today. He was told his birth certificate that he has had and used for 40 years. “Was just not going to work!” Instead of just advising him he could get a standard license, told him he had to go to court house and pay $59 for a new birth certificate! Seriously! You only need an upgraded license if you plan to fly, which we are not planning to do in the near future! So my husband unnecessarily paid $59 for something he does not need and looks just like mine! I renewed my standard license in January.. So in fact they wasted his time and money on something he did not need! If you are going to work for the BMV know what your talking about or find a different job!!! It’s not his money what does he care! So tired of going to BMV and title agency’s where people are not informed and the hours are not convenient at all! I guess people don’t work for a living with those hours!
By far the worst Motor vehicle office. Went in to get a my drivers license switched from New Jersey to Ohio and they refused my Birth certificate because it was a copy, even though it is certified. The employes are rude and offer little to no help. Strongly recommend never coming here and avoiding this location if at all possible.
You have to wear a mask, go in, sign in at the kiosk, then stand outside and either wait for the text on your mobile phone to tell you when its your turn to be served, or wait until an employee comes out and calls your numberUpdate..they now have a QR code outside you can scan with your phone to check in.

2022-04-26Waited in the lobby with 4 men this AM only to be sent home for another statement with my name on it--the other one had expired--in the afternoon I was not allowed to stand in the lobby. First government office that Ive ever been in that is gender bias.

2022-01-08I have started going to Sidney or Wapak offices because this one is always rude and slow! I dont understand how the other offices can get you in and out on any given day but here you spend an hour or more waiting. And treated rudely.

2021-09-22Wonderful service and friendly staff. They helped me transfer title and then set up Temp plate for new vehicle. I will enjoy going back to this site when I have to renew my licenses. Got in quickly!

2021-05-04Very rude at this location! The old man that works there is so unfriendly and doesnt show kindness or understanding whatsoever. Would not recommend going to this location for anything unless you want to be degraded and argued with even if you come in with a positive attitude. The ladies arent as bad, but the old man definitely needs to have some patience and show some grace or will only get in return what he gives.

2021-04-25Had to sign in then wait in the car. They only call in two at a time for safe distancing. We had 4 vehicles to register with 2 for tags plus a license renewal and never once felt rushed or pushed to hurry. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly.
