Upon entering the Monroe Street store, I was greeted by a very friendly customer service representative by the name of Lila. I was looking for a specific item, and approached Lila to request that she point out the direction that I needed to go. She stopped what she was doing and led the way to the isle where the merchandise was kept, and actually helped me figure out which product suited my needs. She also took the time to enroll me into the membership program. It was such a pleasant experience, that I had to mention the extraordinary customer service by Lila with the beautiful smile.
Brandon was the most helpful and knowledgeable person in this whole store! He knew EXACTLY what I was looking for when I couldn’t remember the actual name! Glenda, a cashier, was as friendly as anyone could get. Prices were much less than other office supply stores I’ve been in. Go! Look for Brandon!
Hello my WONDERFUL experience was excellent!!!! Im late at responding about the staff (sorry taking care of parents needs) I came in looking for a printer the young man that was helping me his name is Richard,he was OVER AND BEYOND helping me I was a little unsure of what i can do with this printer(brothers) Richard took baby steps if I may say with me he is so knowledgeable about electronics .His team work ethics is remarkable he helped each time I came in my husband and I.The manager aliene Greg and the rest of the staff has ALWAYS had a smile very welcoming and eager to help thanks Richard and staff and Office max,for this was the first time of me coming in this store.
My laptop is dead. I need a new one ASAP. I had every intention of purchasing a new one today. I saw 2 I was interested in. Not one employee acknowledged my presence in the store. Not one employee asked if I needed assistance or if I had any questions, which I did. Now Im driving to Costco, which is where I shouldve gone in the 1st place.
Nothing but great experiences here, especially when dealing with Tiffani. They are all very helpful and will go the extra mile for you!The people writing negative reviews are generally the PITA, impossible-to-please jerks who think theyre the most important thing in the world. Rude, unreasonable, and always willing to place blame on others who are trying to help them.Ive been in there when employees have had to deal with these jerks - and they, without fail, have had the patience of saints. Any reviews saying otherwise are complete BS from problem customers.
I shop for office supplies probably 6-8 times a year. I preferred the selections at Office Depot. And while some of the merchandise carried over after OD&OM merged, many of my favorite things went to online only(with expensive shipping charges). As a left-handed person I buy specific pens (Foray) that dont leave ink all over my hand. One of the associates here recommended the Tūl pens as a replacement the Foray pens and 8 have been very happy (and my hand ink-free) with her suggestion.
I come here often for many of my printing needs. But my last experience was horrible. I need pictures printed and the associate tried to get of the print job by saying I needed a copyright release so I showed her all the releases. Then proceeded to tell me that she was the only one there and that if another customer showed up..... I was trying figure out what that meant. Why wouldnt that customer have to wait til I was done with my job? I gave her the cds from which to print and she was super preoccupied by a broken paper slicer that two other employees were trying to fix and then proceeded to tell she is not good with computers. I told her the prints I needed and size and as i was trying to gather the info she literally started to tap her fingers on the desk. Once i was done with a cd and handed her a the next one she very rudely threw the cd on the counter and said Are we done. The attitude was unbelievable for a print order of 14 pictures. It really did not take much of her time, but again what is her job if its not to print jobs for costumers. We left with our purchase and not one other customer had come in.

2022-04-05Had a great experience on my most recent visit to Office Max. Was looking for a particular item and I had accidentally deleted the email describing the particulars of the item. 2 associates came to my aid and searched their phone apps to find what I was looking for. They were super friendly and efficient. The service was phenomenal!

2022-05-04Arrived at 9:59 to have one sheet laminated. The sign states that section dosent open till 10. At 10:01 I ask about it and the guy says oh “he will be here in 5-10 min”. So it’s a soft 10am start?We show back up at 1020 sign still there. Have to ask if they are open and a diff guy says “we just opened”. Laminated the one page and charges me for 2 square feet. The paper was 12x12. I tell him that’s one square foot (just because I’m a woman dosent mean I don’t know that) am I being charged per side?? I just had 11 done 3 days ago and was charged for one sq. Foot per. He says well the laminator does 2 sq feet so that’s a minimum. Why? Why today but not 3 days ago. And I had one done as a trial. Adjusted the rest and came back and still was charged 1 sq foot per page. Each time.He did adjust the price, however pick a lane with your pricing and if you say you open at 10 OPEN AT 10. Not 1015. It was a good opportunity to teach my 13 yr old about work ethic and how you show up on time to your shift if not 10 min early. I’ll do everything I can to avoid using the services in the future.
