The young lady was courteous, business like and completed my job efficiently.
Have always received excellent service by knowledgeable staff.
We walked in and out of this store without anyone who worked there greeting us. We spent 10 minutes searching for printer ink and finally gave up because we couldn’t determine the correct size based on the type of printer. We went online to a major competitor and found it cheaper than what most of their stock was.
A long history of excellent customer care
This is my favorite office supply store. Followed them from the store on chagrin in Woodmere to this store in beautiful Warrensville Heights. They either have what you need or they will find it at another of their stores. I’m hoping that now that it seems to be Office Depot that they will not change their customer service practices. Whether you shop in store or use their delivery service their service is top of the line. Thankx Office Max. You all be safe. Thankx!
Ive only come here to fax, and both experiences were quick and easy. Faxing is pretty much self-service, following the step by step process in the designated area, and then paying at the counter. Todays experience was me actually purchasing an item. I looked up the item online prior to going to the store, only to find that item was not on sale as it was shown online. The item looked very different than online as well, though the product numbers matched. The associate was able to match the online sales price. But then the 2-year warranty showed two different prices online, than what was added at the counter. Though there were many discrepancies between online and in-store, the staff performed in the best interest of the customer, and I appreciate that!
Office Max is the place for all of your office/ home office, needs as well as class projects/ presentations. Every section is fairly well labeled and pretty straightforward. I was only shopping for a printer ink cartridge and found it right away. It was the middle of the day which may be the reason why I didnt run into any sales associates offering assistance, which could be a problem if youre not quite sure exactly what you need. This location also offer printing services as well. The store itself was very well organized and clean in appearance, and the cashier was very helpful and friendly.
Knowledgable staff, lots of brands to choose from.
Not enough employees working at the store in general. Only saw 4 people working, with 2 actually doing something. At least 2 employees where on their phones in aisles. The only employee working at the register left the register to help a customer find a product in the store. Stood in line for 15 minutes by myself as the only manager figured out a credit card issue at the one register that was working. Manager then had to go and grab the USB i wanted to purchase, but did not return.
Encounter date 2/24/19We Had the best experience!!! - Ryan attended to all our home office needs, With expertise with everything from paper to laser printers and phones for multi line transfer it was an overall relief to know can count on the rep we had helping us out. Thanks Ryan and office max well see you next time. Friendly customer service skills 10+ and he even put or printer and other supplies in the car.
Been here a few times when needed something quick. They always have exactly what Im looking, and staff and helpful. Never very busy and prices are often cheaper than other places.
Went to find a replacement battery for my laptop. Guy was not helpful at all -- told me he could order one with no problems and took my number so he could research where to order it from.. 3 days later im still waiting for a call back!!
This store always have whatever I need in stock. The associates are also kind and helpful which makes the shopping experience enjoyable.

2022-07-14You can feel the pressure that so many retail employees are under. That said, I went into OfficeMax this evening and had great customer experience. The manager, Joseph, was running around trying to be all things to all people as his job requires with short staff. He was a little short with me at first, but later apologized and provided excellent service. The two young people working with him were also very pleasant. It was nice seeing them smile! I am under tremendous pressure working on a fundraiser for a nonprofit with no budget for expenses. Walking into OfficeMax with Joseph and his crew reminded me of the importance of the work I am doing. Thank you Joseph and staff.

2022-03-08Ordered a TUL navy binder online at Harvard Ave location for pick-up which showed 1 was available. When I arrived, they had pulled a white, designed TUL binder for my order. I tried to show them my confirmation however Dan, operations manager, bluntly stated that all of the binders have the same SKU regardless of color. Anyone who has worked in supply chain knows this isnt how inventory works (myself included). He was completely rude and is terrible at customer service and problem resolution.

2022-03-26They just randomly decide to close their print and fedex sections so you never know when you’ll be able to use those services even though they’re supposed to be standard, and lie about their hours online. Also you can’t in touch with a real person over the phone in advance to see if the fedex area is open because it will never put you through to a representative no matter what you say. Overall terrible experience, rude manager when I asked about the fedex area being closed. Absolutely ridiculous.
