I have not been here but it is next to perkins.
Its in a convenient place attached to Perkins restaurant, but the rooms were disgusting. The non smoking room reeked with old smoke. Asked manager if there was a different non smoking room we could have and she came and smelled the room and she said she didnt smell anything.. she did she just didnt want to admit it. We got another room witch was a small mini type apartment had a stove large refrigerator. That room wasnt any better expect there was no smoke smell but had an old musty smell. The carpets were stained the furniture seemed dirty that j didnt want to sit on them, the bed sheets smelled terrible. Stayed one night there and went to another motel up the road a bit.
I have stayed at oak Ridge Motel for weeks at a time with 4 kids and we have always felt at home and comfortable, its quiet, spacious, and clean. We love going there to get away and relax.
Could use a solid cleaning. The staff were nice, the price was reasonable, and the location is super convenient if visiting people at Copeland Oaks just around the corner.
Place is dirty, has roaches, its beyond terrible and utterly disgusting, afterwards we found a nice hotel for 10$ more a night. Do not stay here. One star is too high.
Never used their services.Theyre connected to Perkins.I was very disappointed cause they no longer serve their Eggs in a whole breakfast.
Good place to stay wh aperen you have to stay for a few days and close to perkins for eats only wish they were open later then 5pm
Room stunk found cigarettes between the blankets but tried to stay anyways because it was paid for then i got off work at 7am tried and tried to call for a late checkout no one answered so i went to sleep woke up by house keeping at 11:40 telling me checkout was noon and i couldnt stay an extra hour.
Love to eat at the Perkins there. The staff is always so nice and they have great coupons if you sign up for their emails.
Great owners! Clean rooms and low prices! Free WIFI and cable TV! Nice quiet places to stay for the night, week or month.

2022-05-24I didnt stay at the motel. I live 2 miles from it. I do eat at their Perkins Restaurant frequently. There food is great as are all the employees. They also have a wonderful bakery.

2022-01-03If I could rate this lower I would. All I have to say there poor excuse of a hotel is deplorable at best.Staff is rude they broke into my room and took a bunch of my stuff. Then told me its my problem. Will not stay again and truly dont recommend anyone with a brain stay there...

2020-01-09First, the staff was OK but could use some more lessons on personality. There was only one staff member who showed genuine appreciation of my presence. The main problem I had was during my second day there at 4am. I know this isnt a 5 star resort, but waking up to ants in my bed and all over the room wasnt something i was paying for especially since i really couldnt afford the $63 a night charge. The only solution the manager saw was to refund only $11 to my card. I would have rather my second night fee back in total. Im not saying the room wasnt clean or that this is horrible Motel. I just wont be returning here at all but i will be continuing to push for the rest of my money for the second day. Lastly I feel this is a problem that has been going on for a while because it was a lot of ants in this room.

2020-09-15I actually stayed there a while back its a good place to stay for a night or two. The people are nice, at the time they still had a smoking or non smoking option, the property could use an update (especially the bathrooms) its also connected to a restaurant that has good food at good prices.

2015-07-20Stayed there July 2015. We are in our 60s. Clean & comfortable room at low price. Older decor and furnishings, but we were satisfied. Microwave and fridge. We felt comfortable and safe. Perkins restaurant attached has good food. We will stay there again.

2019-02-16Reasonable rates for rooms, especially the apartment sized ones with kitchen. Rooms could be cleaner sometimes and furniture updated or at least match. The last few rooms we had with the kitchens had older style TVs and were extremely small, could update the TVs at least to a bigger size, but enjoy the cable with guide and also a small selection of on demand channels. Only big complaint I have when staying here is with housekeeping, to demanding with entering the rooms every day when you dont want disturbed. Once they enter some end up doing a half ass job anyways, more of being nosey

2016-03-19We recently stayed at the Oak Ridge Motel, and found it to be a convenient, clean retro accommodation. Vintage 1950s, well maintained, safe and attached conveniently to a Perkins restaurant. Just $51 for two people, and every bit as good or better than those cookie cutter franchise hotels! Outdoor chairs, and benches. Bathrooms have the original yellow fixtures, with blue tiles, and a unique sit down shower tub. Furniture was wood not particle board. Microwave and little mini fridge in the rooms. Gas baseboard heat that took a little bit of thought to figure out the corner baseboard controls. (Turn the dial to the right to turn it down. That should save you a lot of time!). The room was so hot we had to turn on the a/c though it was cold outside. We did eventually get it comfortable. The beds are comfortable innerspring mattresses, with a blue and rose floral design bedspread. Unique built in nook bench, and three chairs with several dressers. There is a large John Deere dealer across the street. Find it, and youve found the hotel, directly across the street! Active owner operators for the hotel and restaurant. Friendly employees.
