Visited for the second time recently for a concert. The first time was good, but doubt we will return. Paid for VIP parking pass which I would suggest not doing. There was absolutely no signage of where to park... People directing traffic were clueless. We ended up parking about as far away as possible. No refund option for the parking pass was offered. The stadium had no security checks at all at the entrance. No metal detectors/no checking of baggage. Anyone could easily carry weapons in and they didnt seem to care. Obviously peoples safety does not matter to the venue owners.
I like the smaller Arena for concerts. But what I dont like is the very few locations for food and the small section for merchandise sale due to the smallest of the Arena. The lines were really long because of the very few locations to get food. So the Improvement needed here is to figure out a way to get more food vendor windows open so lines do not stretch the entire hallway. But the show itself was great.
Worst designed event center in the country-- hard to get to your seat-- not enough elevators-- inadequate rest rooms on floor level-- seats are very uncomfortable-- luxury suites are up top with poor site lines and are not used. Getting out of the parking is a nightmare. Avoid.
Would have given more stars however, The State Wrestling Tournament has issues every year. This year was concessions and lack of. This is always an issue. You have several concession areas!!! Open them or have personnel walking around selling drinks and popcorn or something. The line lengths were again RIDICULOUS. LETS FIX THIS. IT IS A HUGE ANNUAL EVENT. PREPARE A YEAR IN ADVANCE AND SHORTEN THESE LINES....ONCE AND FOR ALL😢
Parking is horrendous and the fact that they make everyone that has to park out back walk up numerous flights of stairs is unacceptable. The disadvantaged people were forced to endear a very stressful climb. Not every disadvantaged person has a handicap placard enabling them to park in another area.
Great place for an event. Attended Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert there was plenty of parking. There was shuttles available to and from parking area. The seats were comfortable and the aisles were well marked, the stairs were evenly spaced with handrails. The bathrooms where accessible from all levels. The arena was at a comfortable temperature throughout the concert.
We went to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and while the show was fantastic the seats we were sitting in were broke and that did not lend to a comfortable place to sit. Needless to say the traffic to get in was quite a nightmare but the local officers did a great job helping out. They also had buses to take people from the far parking lots up to the building. That worked out really well coming and going from the Nutter Center. I highly recommend parking in lot 7 and taking the bus to the building.
Attending an event at the Nutter Center was a terrible experience. The doors were scheduled to open at 5:30pm. I was within a mile of the Arena at 5:38pm. I arrived in my parking spot at 7:23pm. There were periods where my party sat on the highway for over 20 minutes without moving an inch. The vehicle stayed in Park. When we arrived at the gates, there was no security check. No bags were checked, and there were no metal detectors. Talk about a venue ripe for disaster. The show, which had to start an hour late because the inept staff couldnt get the spectators in the building, was great. Thank goodness. It was the high light of the experience. When the time came to exit the premises, we sat in our vehicles for 27 minutes before we pulled out of our Parking spot. We were then able to get in line and trudge for another 20 minutes, through undirected and unattended traffic, to finally arrive at an unattended streetlight. I do not recommend attending an event in this venue. Go see your favorite performers at a venue that values Fan Experience.
My seats were padded but you could tell that they were 25+ years old = very uncomfortable. They have only one elevator for all the guests to use. The concession stands are staffed by volunteers who get a little money toward their charity by operating the booth. While this is nice, this means that the employees are not skilled in operating the cash register or preparing and serving the food. Because of this, the concession lines are slower and longer than they should be.
Parking is free and the place is actually really big inside. It’s clean and well maintained. We came to see Jeff Dunham in concert here so that should tell you how big the place actually is. They have handicap accessible areas other than the bleacher type seating. Seats are easy to find too. Very nice place.
There really is no bad seat in this arena, which Ive always loved. With that said, Ive only attended the TSO concerts here over a couple years and the directing of traffic and getting in to park is always terrible. My husband says hes attended other sold out events here where the parking isnt bad so we arent sure why there is a problem at TSO. Just be aware, for this particular event at least, you should *arrive* near the arena over an hour early to deal with lines to get in and then long lines if you want food/beverages for the show.
The traffic to get to the nutter center was crazy. It took us a hour to get from Starbucks to the nutter center. We were late for the show. I dont think Ill go to another show there. They really need to figure out a better solution for the traffic. The show was great.
The whole set up for the concert was odd. They had busses take you from the parking lot to the center. All fine until its over and there are 10 thousand people trying to leave at once. Ended up walking back to our car. The event used a alot of smoke machines so it became a little hard to breathe. Staff were helpful. It still amazes me how expensive drinks can be. I can understand beer but soda? 5 dollars? Thats crazy. We saw Trans Siberian Orchestra. The show was amazing and full of lights. Maybe the center was too small for it, we seemed extremely packed in.
This is a decent venue. Ive been here for concerts, monster truck shows, and a graduation. The arena is decent, food vendors are handy, and restrooms all around. My only complaint was that there could have been some police to help direct traffic. There was no traffic control leaving the event, and it caused unnecessary backups.
The venue is really large (10,000+) and the sound was adequate for the James Taylor/Jackson Browne concert. Parking was TERRIBLE! We waited more than 45 minutes just to get in a lot. Someone needs to figure out a more efficient strategy to get folks in. Too few entrances. Also, signage at the venue was non-existent. There was one gate (essentially a single doorway) that was clearly open. There was no guidance to enter any other way. Enjoyed the show but not the hassle.
Except for one thing this lady was trying to wait on us with pretzels and I made her put gloves on and told her I didnt want the pretzel she had because she was making change and not wearing gloves so I was kind of upset about that the Globetrotters were great they need to do something about these people that are serving food and not wearing gloves and waiting on people and taking money even have the nerve to pick up her telephone and use it this is as concession stand on the first floor where the game was going on
We had very good seats. The parking is a nightmare. All the parking around the Center was handicap, on 50% full. They parked everyone else in the back parking lots & shuttled people in. Im not tall enough to grab a rail so I didnt feel safe from falling. I will not go to this venue again. Concert was great but lots of empty seats.
Went here for a concert and I dont think you can have a bad seat anywhere. Acoustics were fantastic and the set up for Trans Siberian Orchestra was amazing. Allow yourself plenty of time for parking. Concessions always have long lines so be patient. Prices are normal for any arena concert venue.
The Nutter Center obviously cares absolutely nothing about the well being of their patrons. Walked well over a mile to and from Center to vehicle ( I know this because I put 7,000 steps on walking to and from event.) It was dark and below freezing on the walk back. With no sidewalk we had to walk in the street which was very dangerous with that many vehicles.I will not be coming back to The Nutter Center.Having been a police officer in Austin, Tx, I have seen much larger events handled in a much more efficient and safer manner. Whoever is in charge needs to be replaced.
The parking lot was insane!! Had to park super far away in the freezing cold. Has older people and handicap people struggling to make the walk. Staff refused to allow us in the nearest door, instead made us walk all the way to the other side of the building. A lady was injured and struggled with all of the steps, my husband and myself had to help her in. Staff are inconsiderate, however the show we went to was quite amazing. Hallways get extremely full, someone got hurt resulting in an ambulance assisting. The design of this place is terrible
You could actually not do worse with the parking situation at big events if you tried. its horrendous. The event actually started an hour late because people were still trying to park. Now the event is over and weve been sitting in the parking lot for TWENTY MINUTES in the exact same space. We cant even get out of our spot! Ive been to many different shows at many different venues and have never seen anything like this. We will NEVER come to anything at the Nutter Center again!
Great arena for concerts, graduation and sports events. The parking and traffic situation is where this facility lacks - tends to be somewhat disorganized. You will likely end up walking far if you’re directed to a back lot. For concerts, concession lines spill out directly into the main foot traffic areas where stairways dump out and gates enter. Lines are not moved to specific areas, so they therefore end up smashing right into people entering. Could be solved with some clear markers or ropes. Having said that, I’ve never seen a bad concert here. It is nice to have a complex of this size right in Dayton.
Not a bad seat in the house. The parking being separated by a lake and the equipment entrance is ridiculous. No signage to get in or out. Workers yelling at people to go around. 8000 people trying to go up or down 3 levels of stairs 4 people wide is a disaster waiting to happen
Parking here is HORRID! If you have a show here to see that is even close to capacity arrive 1.5-1 hr early or take the risk of missing the start of your show! 20 minutes before the start of Trans Siberian Orchestra, we were parked in traffic almost half a mile from the venue. We parked at a medical facility and walked
With a large Winter Guard and Percussion contest day happening, how is it that you are totally unprepared with the concession stand? Had to wait over 10 minutes just for a hot dog and almost 7 minutes for a bag of popcorn. Very poor!! 😡New year, new championship performance day. Well see if things have changed.
Too bad I had to give it one star because I would have given it a zero! We left a couple of hours early to attend the James Taylor and Jackson Brown concert and was in a traffic jam for over an hour before we opted out and went to Chuy’s in Fairborn. We weren’t even close to parking and if and when we would have, we would have missed half of the concert. I guess you would have to leave 4 or 5 hours early in order to see the entire concert.
This is an incredibly small arena that comes with pros and cons.Ive been here only to attend WWE Events which due to how incredibly small it is offers pretty decent seating. I dont think that there could possibly be a bad seat in the house when there is literally only essentially one full riser. Seats are pretty crammed but I didnt feel they were much less comfortable then any other area seats that Ive been in.Bathrooms and concessions seemed limited and fighting with the crowd wasnt fun, parking, was the worst part of all. Parking lots are terribly far away from the Arena - while there are Shuttle Options they seemed to be running terribly slow and we felt it was probably faster to just walk. Not a ton around in terms of Arena district, as youre literally on a college campus. I preference having a bit of a district in sight if Im travelling for an event so sort of a bummer for location, though, many may appreciate this aspect. Its fairly easy in, easy out, and outside of a few places to eat theres not much else to draw a crowd.Staff is mostly friendly though after the event they were more then eager to usher you out, if not outright pushy. All in all not a terrible place to watch an event at, and Ive done so many times. All the same, I could name better.
Great mid size venue for concerts. Recommend getting there early as getting to the parking is slow. Once you are there very easy to get in and get to your seat. Saw Jackson Browne and James Taylor and the sound was great. Lots of help to find your seats and keep things orderly. Had floor seats and they maintained total control over entry and seating even during the opening act. Great job!
We love this place for a concert especially when sitting in the lower bowl. Acoustics can get a little off up higher but remember this arena was made for sports and not the acoustics of a concert. Parking is easy to get to however you need to get here early or else the traffic lines do tend to get long. Same thing getting out. We left before encore and getting left back out to interstate was awful as there is just one turn lane and not much police help, at least the night we were there. Staff at the Nutter Center were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were there an hour early before a scheduled meet and greet and had no problems and access to restrooms.
Nice venue for concerts and plays but the way they make you wait until the very last minute to be let in to be seated is crazy. We arrived early for an event that started at 7:30 and was not let in until 7. What a disaster when you have thousands of people needing to get food-drink and seated!
The madea play was fantastic. There shuttle service from the various parking lots to the Nutter center, great when going into the venue, but after the show was over it was rather chaotic and you could tell it was going to a long wait. It wasnt made clearvwhen we were dropped off where the(only) pick up place was going to be and people had formed several different lines on the side and front entrances. The shuttles were passing up people and only loading from one area. We ended up walking back to our car which was a decent distance away. At least it was a nice evening! The seats are small and the space is tight, even for a smaller person.
Seating is compact and uncomfortable for tall people (and anybody with an above average waist). Couldnt sit in our purchased seats due to the larger couple next to them. Not the couples fault. Seats are just very small. Found other seating and still stood for a portion of the show because my knees were hitting the seat in front of me.
We went to see Disney on ice today. The show was wonderful, but I don’t feel the venue was prepared to seat the number of people who attended in an efficient manner. The seats were small but the facility was well kept and clean. The worst part of my experience was a lady at the entrance to the arena who belittled me because “I was too old to wear a mouse ear headband and needed to take them off” I was happy to just take them off but she belittled me for several minutes. I could have cried. I had already taken them off and was just trying to get past to the show which was starting. I was embarrassed and I definitely wasn’t the only adult wearing ears there. Also, none of the other workers that I passed prior to that saw issue with my headband.
I was here to see Wright State University play basketball. There is a lot of parking (though there may be quite a walk depending on where you park). I think shuttles would benefit those who have to park waaaayyyy out there. It was large and clean. Not a lot of the food was open since it was not an event. What was open had tasty food. The seating was fine and you would have no trouble seeing no matter where you sat. Overall, very nice.
The place needs an update badly, seating is very uncomfortable and tightly packed like sardines, not enough restrooms. Parking and traffic is awful , if your event starts at 7:30 like ours tonight if I were you go at 4pm to get a good parking spot (no joke). We passed two paved lots to be taken to a gravel lot in back of a pond which is a good 25 minute walk from the place. Try that in high heels 😖. They had a shuttle which took us over to the venue, however, no instructions were given re: where to catch the shuttle once the event was done. Everyone lined up on the sidewalk in front of the Nutter Center only to be told the line starts where the people are at the top of the steps which was totally stupid. There was no way to get to the top of the stairs unless you went back inside nut center and walk around to the other side and there were hundreds of people in front and already on the steps. We had bus after bus after bus at least five of them just sitting there not moving waiting and slowly inching forward to get to one pickup point to pick up guests to take them back to their cars. Most of the people were elderly and it took two long to wait for a shuttle. Whoever organized parking lot shuttles tonight needs to be reprimanded about the total lack of organization and care for their patrons. The lots are poorly lit and not marked so hundreds of us were out there trying to find our cars in the dark,it was a nightmare. I am definitely done with this dump I wont go back. Tyler Perry, I loved your show sorry to see the Madea go but if you come back to Dayton make it The Schuster center instead.
I went to the 3pm show of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We got there at 150pm, had no trouble parking. Getting in was a breeze. Seats on floor area were just folding chairs but good shape, very well marked, and well placed - I could stretch out my legs a little! I cant speak to the Nutter Centers audio and screen displays bc TSO brings their own. After the show we did choose to walk back to our car instead of waiting for the shuttle. It wasnt a long walk at all, maybe 5 mintues. We waited about 10 mins before leaving the lot. There was a line that didnt move for a bit bc they were emptying the lot ahead of us but again not very long of a wait - Ive been in MUCH worse traffic in Denver. For me it was overall pleasant, no complaints! Id say like any other major event, if you want good parking leave home early - give yourself at LEAST 30 extra mins to park and get seated.
Awesome crowd and friendly staff. Security was the friendliest security people ever - not overly paranoid at all. Concession stands were not prepared for a WWE event, but it could have been handled better. Restrooms were more hygienic than the average dive bar and/truck stop. The hot dogs with jalapenos from the concession stand will clean you out.
Great facility. Have went to many events there and never had a problem other than trying to get in and out of the parking lot. Yesterday it took 1 hour to get from the mall to the Nutter center less than 1 mile away. I thought leaving an hour before the event would be more than sufficient time but no we ended up being 20 minutes late for the show. Also left show early and did not get to see final performance so we didnt have to wait another hour plus to get home. Not first time we have cut a show short.
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! The Nutter Center was the absolute worst venue I’ve ever been to. I saw Gabriel Iglesias, and his show was phenomenal. However, the venue was poor. There were no parking signs at all! We ended up wandering around the campus until we found the correct parking location. We had to park at the extreme back overflow lot. The shuttle buses didn’t come back to that lot because it was “too far.” We were passed by several shuttle buses while walking the 3/4 mike trek to the arena. Once inside, the ticket scanner malfunctioned and we were just waved on. After getting past the door, the signs marking our sections were scarce. We walked halfway around the arena and finally found our section. When we went inside the arena, we had to walk down to the second row to our seats. The row markers were either not working or poorly lit. We finally made it to our seats to find they were extremely low. We sat for close to three hours with our knees up to our chest. Gabriel built in a 20 minute intermission for his show, and my friend spent the whole time waiting in line for the ONE Speedway in the entire building and ended up giving up because there wasn’t enough time. Their line was wrapped around the arena! I am beyond angry with the Nutter Center. The venue was an embarrassment to Dayton, and to Wright State as a whole. Absolutely amateur. And to think I paid almost $130 for two seats at this place! Never again!
A decent venue! Seems like it could use some updating! Good place to catch WWE for a reasonable price! Food is high like any venue but tasted horrible for the price! Watered was down to gas station level pop! Cafeteria quality cheese for nachos and soft pretzels. At least have decent food if you are going to charge so much! About like eating food out of a dumpster.
My family went to the Nutter Center for the Trans Siberian Orchestra show, and maybe they simply arent equipped to handle this big of an event, but it was a disaster! The show was phenomenal. The center handled getting the crowd in and out of the facility poorly, to say the least.First of all, my 61 year old mother fell down the stairs because the railing was missing in a portion of the stairs. Once the lights were on, you could see where the railing used to be. Also, every other section had railing in the same spot. There was no sign or warning that it was running out. And when you had to sit in traffic for over 40 minutes just to get into the parking lot and another 20 minutes on a shuttle, its dark when you finally get to the show. Then, she got yelled at by a staff member for being in the way...you know, instead of being a decent human being and checking to see if she was okay while lying on her back. Thankfully, there were others around who helped her because I wasnt with her at that particular moment. Thank you, good humans!Getting out of the facility was horrendous. The Nutter Center staff decided the best way to get everyone out was to have us line up in the cold and load ONE SHUTTLE AT A TIME to take us back to the parking lots. Thats right. They decided to load 6,000+ people one bus at a time. Ive never seen anything more idiotic in my life. We waited for an hour outside in the cold while bus after bus after bus stopped right beside us, but refused to open its doors to let any of the thousands of people in. One single bus driver (shout out to the woman in bus #1) decided to buck the system and let people on wherever she stopped. And what do you know? She lapped the other busses! My husband and I go to shows and events all over the US. This was a first and a last for us. We will never be back to the Nutter Center.Wise up, Nutter Center! This is NOT the way. Get the people out, than go home faster and enjoy your warm beds.
The arena feels as if you are so far away from the action. It is definitely an old arena that is used for way more than just basketball, it just feels like you are watching ants play. They definitely have a strong fan base and it is nice to see the amount of students that come out for the game. Careful when using google maps to find the place. It gets confused.
Attended a mini conference round table/speed learning sometime back. Very nice facility with convenient parking. The facility is multi use as it houses a gigantic arena as well for large venues as well as smaller ones like I attended. Very nice. Easy to find, lots of signage on interstate and main streets.
My son and I went to Monster Jam at the Nutter Center for the first time. We have been there before attending other events and each time we have had really decent seats. Not always front row but because the place isnt super huge, you can attend an event and still enjoy yourself.
First off, the parking was FREE! Not only that, shuttles were continuously coming through to give rides from parking lot to the venue. We parked, got out, & a shuttle was there. It filled up before we could get on, but we waited less than a minute for the next shuttle appeared... this time we made it on.My only complaint would be that once in the venue, there was nothing to indicate where to go if you have floor tickets. Also, the people taking tickets to enter the floor actually kept the entire ticket. Some people, like myself, like to keep the stub. So I didnt like that.
Fantastic show by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra sold out. Nutter Center had great views from upper seats. BUT steep climb up and down, only one handrail, no alternative although one of our family asked for handicapped access. I saw one elevator for my seating area to accommodate all patrons, not reserved for the disabled. No close handicapped parking. Nutter Center has serious issues for disabled patrons.
We planned accordingly and got there early then left right as the concert ended. So for us parking and traffic were the least of our problems most reviewers complain of. The seats however are horrible. I’m a big guy but even if youre 5’ and 110lbs. you are squeezing in them. Then once you are in them your knees are up in your chest because the seats are so low. Unless you stand the entire time you’re there it’s miserble. Great views just really bad seats. Never again for us. River front has better seats and views!
I took my mother on Mothers Day to see Cirque Du Soleil and it was amazing. I had really good seats and my mother thoroughly enjoyed it. She said it was the best Mothers Day she had ever had. I am so happy I took her to the Nutter Center. Kudos to the Nutter Center for having such a great seating area.
The worst design of a public auditorium Ive ever been to. A concert goer will spend a lot of money to get as close to the stage just to see their favorite Artist ( I get it ) The average concert will last 3 1/2- 4 hrs. Should you have to use the restroom, need a drink or a bite to eat...you will have to go all the way to the top, past the last and cheapest seat in the house just to acquire any oy those task or to leave the building and return to the parking lot... which only has 2 exits (if you are aware there is a rear of the building exit) be ready to wait in traffic for a long while, especially if the Artist draws a decent (sold out?) Crowd. Do your self a favor, if the show is in Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis or even Cleveland...go there and enjoy yourself.
This is an easy place to get to, stadium is enclosed and there are lots of restaurants nearby and hotels. The interstate is close by as well. But for a group of more than 6,000 parking is an issue. They have overflow parking thats a bit of a walk. Also, a lot of the seats are hard. If youre there for more than just a few hours, take a cushy pillow.
The Nutter Center is a great place for a variety of venues. It has easy access from driving, parking and entry. We have a yearly convention there that always turns out to be a fantastic experience. The staff make sure to provide everything we need, and is a clean, well ventilated, updated facility. We have also been to some concerts there and no matter what program we have attended, we have enjoyed it even more at this facility.
Went to he TSO concert here. Great show if i might add.Parked way back in one of the several lots but caught the shuttle bus to the front entrance. Nice! The staff was very good at herding the mass of people thru the entry process. I respect their patience. We had floor seats this time and were escorted to our seats. When we left, the line was way to long for the shuttle so we decided to walk back to our vehicle. Well, of course it started to rain. Not a sprinkle. A downpour! We were soaked to the bone by the time we reached the truck. Lol. Good times.
Went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra. Show was great but getting in and out of the Nutter Center was a joke. Had roads closed down that Should have been open. Should have gates marked as to what section they are near. I highly doubt that I will go back, Others at the concert after it was over were so Rude it Wasnt funny. Attitudes of Im better than you so I should be first, just total chaos.
This is a good facility. I would say event venue - because that is its main function but it also had other things that dont involve the main stage or the huge seating area. It is a part of Weight State University and it has some of their classes and sports teams with their trainings. They also have a ton of events ranging from huge concerts to Disney on Ice to monster trucks to pro wrestling.
Every time I go to the nutter center it winds up being a miserable experience due to the horrible traffic and parking arrangements. I have one more concert to come to on the 22nd and after that Im not sure that I will ever come back to the nutter center it is just ridiculous that as many years as it has been there that they have never come up with a better way to get to traffic out of the parking lot. I have been to NFL stadiums that whole many more thousands of people and are able to clear the parking lots much quicker
Took the grandchildren down to see Disney on Ice it was a very exciting experience for them. This is the second time I have been to the nutter center to see you in a bit and I would go there to see more of bands they have quality people working for them and good security I felt safe there
Come only for events less than three hours because the seats are the worst of any venue in America. If its agony to sit for Monday Night RAW, then it must be worse for the religious convention delegates who sit in them for entire weekends. Id be crippled if I had to do that.
Usually no problem with the doors opening on time. We get there early to get in line. Doors were supposed to open at 6PM. They didnt open the outer doors until 6:30. Then they had all of the curtains drawn to get down to our seats. We waited for them to open. Greeters were very friendly. The comedians caused the delay by running thru a rehearsal & starting late. Otherwise, the show was good.
Once in side it was as expected. Short tight seats but standard sports arena stuff. Traffic and parking was a joke tho! Blocked off interstate exits, and steers approaching the area, only two lanes coming in to the parking area, NOT NEARLY ENOUGH!! Had to pass the exit to the arena an hour and a half later we got in to the parking lot. Didnt see any reason there couldnt be at least on more lane coming in.If you go plan on being there WAY early to park!!🚦✋🚦✋🚦✋

2022-05-13Was there for the Kiss concert last night! We waited in line for a little over an hour. They were having some issues with their ticket scanning equipment. Only 2 doors open...as theyre low on employees too. Bathrooms were stocked....cant say clean, as there were a few thousand people in there. Had to search for the wrist band kiosk for alcohol. Got our drinks, found our seats easily. Employees friendly and helpful. Overall very good place! Kiss concert was excellent too!

2022-03-03It’s an average below average arena , I’m at the basketball game for a conference tournament , parking not terrible for basketball games . Haven’t been to any events but I red reviews and heard parking was a nightmare. The arena seems very old with little upgrades since it opened in 1990. BE SURE to get concession items before you sit because depending on your seat it’s a STEEP and long walk back. Seats are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE might be the same seats from 1990. Lighting isn’t great or sound system. I’ve been to better arenas that’s for sure . I made it work though for two hours .

2022-01-07Let’s get Nutty!! Nutter Center is boss, great place to watch the Wright State Raiders dominate the Horizon League and they even serve beer! (Just remember to get your last drink before they shut down at the end of half time…)

2021-08-15Nutter Center brings in some great talent to the area for sports and music events. Parking is not the easiest, so arrive early to accommodate attendees with mobility issues. Be sure to get seated early for shows, as the steps are steep and dark once house light go down, and row numbers are dim and small. Photos are from James Taylor concert, August, 2021.

2021-11-22The Jeff Dunham show was great, The seating and the parking however Was horrendous. Apparently the way the nutter center does parking is to have people with lights guide you to your parking place and the earlier you show up the further away you have to park if you showed up right before the show you got to park right behind the building nearest to the door. While the use of metal folding chairs for seating on the floor is understandable the fact that they put them right up against each other with virtually no room whatsoever in between meant in some cases your neighbor was sitting on your chair with you At least an inch of space between the chairs would have been a good idea.

2022-01-01We saw Trans Siberian Orchestra and the show was phenomenal. We arrived at the location an hour early and it took about 40 minutes to get through the traffic and get seated, so it was a good thing we left the house when we did. Biggest complaint I have is the seats, you can definitely tell how old they are and if you slightly raise your arms your elbows are hitting the person next to you. Very little room to move, and I’m a small person. Other than that everything was great.

2022-03-10I took my daughter to see Trolls live. We had the best time.. She really enjoyed herself, and so did I.
