Called in the morning and we went over the order for tires and an alignment. My mom dropped the car off for me and they said tires and alignment. Came to pick the car up and no alignment was done and it would take hours for an alignment because that mechanic was busy even though my order says alignment check and advise. Now I have to take another day to go elsewhere to have an alignment completed.
Got me in on a really busy day in between appointments with only one employee working. Got it done fast and even worked with me the following day to address a few issues I had, very fast and polite service when every single other dealership and shop on town told me they couldnt get me aligned or that I had to wait a week to get in. All in all a good shop honest and fair with pricing with outstanding customer service.
Lancaster, OH NTB. On Oct 25, 2021 I dropped my truck off to have the Tie Rod Ends replaced. My brakes also needed done but I couldnt afford both all at once. The lady at the desk was very nice. The man was kind of rude but I didnt think to much of it at first. Went back at 5:30 to pick up my truck. The same man at the desk again was rude. I paid the $550. I couldnt even get my truck out of the parking spot. It grinded terribly. I went back in and he told me it was my brakes. My brakes had never made a sound before. He was blowing me off. So I said I wasnt leaving (I couldnt...) until he came out and listened to it. Which he did. The next morning when the same guy called me about replacing my brakes...he was rude again. So I had it towed to another shop, McCoy Auto Repair, (who I will say has been wonderful ). They called and said NTB had put the Tie Rod Ends on the wrong side! They had carved a groove in my wheels and damaged my new Tie Rod Ends and they had never done the alignment afterwards. I called corporate. I wanted my $550 back. All corporate would do is pay the new garage to right the wrong NTB had done. I paid for NEW Tie Rod Ends now I had damaged ones. I will NEVER go back there again. (on another note....after this happened I read the reviews. There had been 3-4 reviews that mentioned a bad experienced and a rude guy......funny...today those reviews arent on there! )
Ordered tires online and had them sent to NTB. It took me a long time to finally find the time to drop the car off, but I’m glad I did. Not only did they hold on to the tires for way longer than I expected they should, they did a fantastic job mounting and balancing the tires for my Black BMW diesel wagon. I’ve had a lot of problems with places not balancing the tires correctly for European cars, and I’m picky, but they did well.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Initially I had scheduled an oil change for Saturday, August 28th at the Lancaster Ohio store in the River Valley Circle area. Received a call on the 28th that because of call offs, I would need to be scheduled next Saturday. I was irritated but said ok. The receptionist said “I will put in my notes to make sure you get in this time with no issues”. Well, showed up on Saturday, September 4 and the front door was locked! A guy came from the bays and said it will be 2 hours before I can get to your car and it will take an hour at least to do the oil change. REALLY??? I said I had an appointment, and he said well all these other cars do too. I said the receptionist assured me I would get right in, and he said well she no longer works here. He said one employee was out with COVID-19, etc. etc. I said what if I come back in 2 hours since I have errands to run and he said I could not do that because it is considered abandonment of my appointment. This is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Avoid this place at all costs-they don’t give a whit about serving customers. I told this man that he just lost me as a customer. I called the main office and they are supposed to be looking into the problem.
So my only complaint was that I made an appointment online that confirmed I had an appointment for that day, however the systems at the stores must not share online and they were backed up for 2 weeks. I went as a walk in and they had my new tires and were able to get me in and out them on in about 2 hours. I was very happy with the customer service and the quality of care and would definitely come here again! Thanks guys, hopefully you can get corporate to fix your systems and well get you a 5 star rating!
I took my car into the Lancaster NTB location for an oil change and inspection on Tuesday and discovered this a few days later. (I work at home so I’m not driving much now). To say I’m livid and shocked is an absolute understatement. My hood will not open at all and it is now wedged underneath on one side. I cannot believe that I wasn’t informed that this happened as the mechanic HAD to have realized that there was an issue either when opening or closing the hood during the inspection, because it had to have been forced up or down. My appointment was the last of the day and the mechanic was new, so I am assuming that they rushed the job and wanted to get out of the store rather than pointing out the problem and making it right. I am SO disappointed in the lack of care for my vehicle and will not be going back in the future.
We had our tires and rims sent to NTB from a web based business. They arrived on Thursday I was not informed until I called on Friday they said to bring it in. So we took two cars,to avoid being stranded. I arrived at 10mins. till 2:00 PM and all I needed was 5 mounts and dismounts with balancing we ran to a few stores to get some items and when we got back at 3:50 they had not even started and said they would not be able to get to it till tomorrow. I have had several jobs done at NTB in Zanesville, and I assumed that for the most part all of them were on a professional level and cared about their customers. When you arrive and find the person who was supposed to be doing the job standing around talking, I guess it is hard to get something done when you are just standing around talking, but I guess that is his form of job security put off today and do it tomorrow it all pays the same. I told the person at the desk I was from out of town and I did not want to make another trip and he said they should have time. Well it turned out they did not understand what out of town means. I own a business and I know how hard it is to get good employees and in this case I am well founded. Way too much talking and not enough working.I personally feel that this place has management issues I will never use this NTB in Lancaster again they wasted my time and not to mention gas money for two vehicles to drive a 65 mile round trip. but just an FYI folks, it is worth the drive to Zanesville NTB for professional work and professional courtesy.
I have to say, I went to go get an alignment, because discount tire doesnt do them. I noticed that they do oil changes as I was checking in and I made a comment, I said, wow, you do oil changes too? They said that they did everything except change glass and weld. I was really amazed and told them that this would be my go to place for my vehicle needs. He said that they would be glad to have me.
I ordered my tires on Wednesday said they would be in Monday morning. Since I was going to be in town that morning, I called before arriving to confirm (9:00 am)availability of tires. After 45 minutes, tires ordered didnt arrive but said I would be compensated for the inconvenience but never got compensated, after I called 5 hrs later that tires were on and I could pick vehicle up. Not happy with service!
Amazing customer service! Everyone I observed interacting with customers provided great service. Shawn appeared to be in charge and was not only great but gave his honest opinions to customers. My car repairs went smoothly and they updates me throughout. I will go back and recommend to others.
Needed help checking in customers. Waited half hour after appt time to hand over my keys while a guy sat in office. Theyre booking appts 2 weeks out. Theyre VERY BUSY and need more help and/or cross training for front desk backup. Always great service and friendly and honest.
We had an appointment at 4:00. We were told that it would take 1-1/2 hours to put 4 new tires on our car. When we came back an hour and 1/4 later our car was still sitting in the lot and had not been touched. As soon as we walked in the door they went out and got our car. Originally he told us it would take 1-1/2 hours for the service we requested. When we came back he told us it was just like a doctors office, sometimes they get behind. When my husband asked how long, they said 35 minutes!??? Originally it would take 1-1/2 hours to “do it right” now it is 30-35 minutes????? 🤔🤷♀️No thanks. Give us our car.People sell tires EVERY DAY!We have been good customer here but not anymore.
My mother went in there to have two tires put on her car and have an alignment done. She dropped it off the night before and she had to call them to see if it was done. They said the car was done but they couldnt do the alignment because her tie rod ends were bad. She took it home and asked me if I would come over and check it. I jacked the car up and they completely misdiagnosed the problem! Her pitman arm was missing its cotter pin and the nut was loose! It was a simple fix and they were trying to charge her for something it didnt need!
Took my car in for an alignment today, and also found out my car had other issues as well during the process. I was lucky enough to have Mike helping me out, he was very patient in explaining the problems with my vehicle, why they were problems, and told me what I needed to do to fix it all free of charge. Three words to describe my service today. Precise, quick, and Transparent.
Had an appointment for 4 tires to be installed. Anywhere else, thats about an hour job. So far , Ive been waiting for 2 and a half hours. If they would have said up front to drop off and call me when they were done, I would have been good with that. Overall, not coming back.
I dropped my car off at 3, for an oil change. They said it would only take an hour. So I called at 5. The lady at the desk said it would be done in 15 minutes. Here it almost 45 more minutes later and Im still waiting... Oh next to the man that has been here 4 and half hours for tires, because they sold them to someone else. I would say the customer service here is pretty horrible. Dont waste your time.
My mother had transmission serviced it was that time for her car at 50,000. Miles. She doesnt drive to much right now do to the covid. But after her service something worked loose. Well her car insurance covered most of the tow back here then they charged her a tad over 22.00 ontop of it. Why? Last time I paid someplace top dollar for a job I sure didnt have to pay for where they fell short and did not stand up for the work they did and made me pay again! So good luck if you go here and if they go digging in your transmission stand over them and baby them.. make sure they tighten EVERYTHING they loosen! Or youll be paying to get it fixed after you pay them a few weeks later!
Extremely helpful staff, and also very polite. They have really competitive prices for every service that they offer, which is alot actually. They seem to do just about everything there. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT if you are getting some major work done, if you do then they can accurately tell you almost EXACTLY how long they will be. 4 new tires mounted and balanced with a 1-year alignment in about 2-3 hours on a really busy Saturday afternoon. The salesman I dealt with even gave us the sale price on everything, even though the tires we bought were not supposed to be on sale. And he just did it on his own, we didnt ask him to or anything. You should at least call them for prices before going anywhere else, we are SO glad that we did. Also, you can have ANY warranty work done at ANY of their locations, not just the one you recieved service from.
Went in for a simple brake job. They stated my brake pads, calipers etc was good. All that needed replaced was the cylinder, day later they tell me the backing plate needs to be replaced, but parts suppliers dont carry them. next day after that, they tell me a place has one, so I tell them to order it. Day after that, they call and say the supplier doesnt have the part after all. So I start looking for a newer car. Two days after that, another mechanic there, seems the only one that has a brain, called and stated they could use the backing plate thats on it, but would still cost 550.00 to fix it. I asked how could this go from 200.00 to 550.00 when the new backing plate isnt needed? He said labor, etc. I will never take my car to this place ever again. They just want to rip you off anyway possible! The general Manager that runs the place, never acknowledged me when I came in. It took them 15 minutes to greet me, and no one else was there waiting! Its obvious that no one there understands good customer service and just trying to take you for every dollar you have.
The girl wanted to charge me $23 for a plug for my tire. I’m totally fine with paying . I was just surprised because I have never been charged before anywhere. My husband was there last year and didn’t get charged. They informed me they couldn’t plug it and I needed a new tire. So of course I told them to put the tire back on (buying it else where).
Good visit. Did not take to long after techs showed up and pulled my car in. I arrived just a few minutes before they opened. Only the office person was in. No techs showed up till 15 minutes after they opened. Then they took another 10 minutes to pull my car in. Took another 40 minutes to replace 1 tire and rotate them. If techs would have been there when they opened I would not have been late to work.
On 2/19/2020 my daughter who was in from out of town and I were out shopping as we were leaving the store her car made this horrible noise we called NTB not sure if they could even look at it they said bring it over, we got there they put it on the lift to look for the problem, they found the problem and fixed it. We are so thankful for many reasons …..1. we didnt have an appointment they just took us in2.they had to search for and go get the part and put it in3.they stayed late to get this done4. they explained everything in detail that my daughter would need to address when she got homeI want to give a big shout out to the 4 people that made this happen and stayed so get the car fixed so my daughter would make it back home safely(which is a 3 hour drive)Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to.. Went to the NTB in lancaster ohio this weekend, on a very tight schedule they were able to get my vehicle in for new tires. That was nice, but what made the experience even better was the crew was willing to take a few moments out of their already packed full day to check the tire pressure on my other vehicle that wasnt being serviced. I told them about an issue I was having after having subpar tire work done at another shop and they took the time to make sure everything was in order on both of my vehicles and recommended new valve stems to correct the problem. Very appreciative of the guys in that shop and will be coming back to NTB in the future because of this great experience.
I typically don’t leave reviews but after the 2nd bad experience I felt it was warranted. My recent visit was for an oil change and check a slow leak on a tire plug. The employees were super nice and friendly. However, the amount of dirty hand prints left all over my black car was not appreciated. There were prints on the rear bumper. There was no reason they needed in my trunk. Four different spots on my driver side door and 2 handprints on the hood of my car. There’s a special tool for the lug nuts that is kept in the glove box along with the owners manual. They did come to where I was waiting to ask where it was. However, someone was in both the glove box and the console because things were in disarray.I feel this is a lack of respect for someone else’s belongings. I didn’t expect a white glove treatment but at least take care of others property. The last thing anyone wants to do is pay for a service, to leave and have to have another service done, such as a detailing job.
Awesome place to get work done! Shawn and Richard really did an awesome job and helping me get a flat fixed super quick at a moments notice! Very courteous and professional!!! Hope these two get recognized by NTB for their awesome work ethic and professionalism!!! Made my day great thanks to these two gentlemen!
I was in and out with the oil change. The manager that runs the counter is honest and helpful. In the short time i was waiting they pointed an elderly man in the right direction because they could not help him. Then they was very honest with another lady that they could have easily taken advantage of. Good job fellas
We bought 2 new tires that were supposed to go on the Front. The guy at the service desk asked my fiance and then double checked with me where the new tires were supposed to go, even drew a diagram and yet they STILL put the tires on the wrong wheels! Its almost the middle of Winter, why would we want new tires on the back of a front wheel drive car?! You had one job guys... The guys were all friendly, just cant figure out how they messed up..
Highly professional individuals who care to get you the service what you need and want! Honestly the experience was pleasant from start to finish however with high quality comes time. If you want it done correctly and neatly this is the place for you. Though some times their high quality work comes with a slight wait. Go here with out a doubt!!
My mother broke down halfway through a 10 hour drive, and we couldnt find anyone in the area that would even look at her car that day. Shawn (Sean?) got her in and taken care of in a couple of hours and back on the road, and for a price that I cant believe. I cant recommend this team highly enough for their expertise, honesty and integrity in a situation that could easily been exploited.
The guys at the counter were very busy but fit us in with an emergency flat tire after hitting pot hole from hell. They sent our rim to be fixed and when we picked it up a couple days later they only charged a hundred dollars, this included putting spare tire on and rotating back tire to front. They didnt try to sell us a tire which we would have bought if they said it had been damaged.
For some reason the price of an oil change varies....$29.99, $24.99 or $19.99.Twice I had to haggle on a advertised sale price of $19.99. Took a coupon with me both times, they finally did it for $19.99 but never took the coupon. 3rd and last time, I left the coupon at home, was going to be charged $24.99 unless I produced a coupon. I cancelled my appointment and did it myself. $5 is not the issue. Inconsistent pricing on something so small IS an issue. Wont go back. Poor busi ess practices.
Today I took a vehicle I’ve been working on to NTB to have the tires balanced and new TPS (Tire Pressure Sensors) installed Along with a alignment done. And why they was in the I asked for them to check out why the Traction Control light was on.While standing outside we watched them remove tires from vehicle, break down tires just enough to install new TPS and reinstall on car. After we seen this we go in and ask if they are balancing the tires, “yes” the women says after she goes and asks. They in fact they did not balance any of them.Next they were supposed to program all TPS , guy comes in and says they are unable to program them because the don’t have right software. 🤨Wrong , no special software is required to do this, I did it in my driveway in less the 2 minutes when I got home.Next they look up to see why the traction control light is on. They say it’s because a ABS wire is broken, wrong again😑, if ABS wire was broken then both ABS and TC light would be on. Only TC light is on.The alignment was actually done well, and they did install the TPS.After all was “done” they only charged me for the alignment, which tells me they in fact didn’t balance them, and they knew we knew they didn’t.I will never take any of my vehicles there again, and I am disgusted that they lied to me as much as they did.
Ill never take a vehicle there ever again they just want to squeeze your money out of you. Said I needed tie rods because they were bent and I bought them had some one else go to put them on and that person showed me that they were strait as an arrow. I didnt even need tie rods . They dont rotate your tires like they say they do. Mark ur tires before you go. Just saying. They just want your money.
Adam at NTB was fantastic in helping this damsel is distress. Instead, of just saying sorry, were too busy. He took a look at my wiper, in the middle of a rain storm, tightened the blade and had me on the road in no time! What excellent and sincere customer service! Id go back for anything if this is what can be expected.
So busy , they over look alot of safety issues. Especially when you bring your car in and specifically ask for them to check an issue your having .And ya bring the part with you and they quickly look over it and say nothings wrong with it . And in a matter of a few weeksYour vehicle breaks down due to the issue THE CUSTOMER ASKED them TO CHECK And CAUSES a would of been A SMALL REPAIR !!!! . TO BECOME almost a thousand dollars .. NEVER AGAIN !! . As they say they are the busiest store around..TOO BUSY IS A RESULT AND GOOD REASON FOR A VERY IMPORTANT OVER SIGHT !!!!OF A SAFETY ISSUE!!! AND DIDNT STAND BY TYBEE CUSTOMER !!! NEVER WILL REFER THEM OR VIZIER THEM AGAIN PPL PLZ BE AWARE
Ive had nothing but positive experiences in the last 5yrs with the River Valley NTB..!! Ive had experience with Huddles, Discount Tires, and several other smaller companies in Lancaster. NTB stands out above ALL other local competitors in EVERY category..... ie: price, friendliness, service, warranty, service after the sale, being personal, and out-right honest to their own loss of sales...!!! Shawn (the manager) has become what I consider a friend and a great guy to receive advice from, with outstanding character and integrity..!!! No, I am not a paid advertisement..... I am simply a small business owner (builder/home remodeler) myself who tries to do the same things and appreciates it when I see it in another company..!!👍🏻😊
Professional work great customer service but the price is way to expensive $680 just for front brakes if I would of known that I could have done both Axels myself with drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads for less than that heck just a week before that I spent over $1000 just in tires from them I figure I would have gotten some kind of deal or something Ill do the back brakes myself but over all it was a good experience but a bit pricey for my liking thank you guys and gal for you help Cody, Adam, and Jason T you guys are awesome Jason I could trust with my life
Brought my car in last Friday to have my tire repaired. Charged 23.00 to have it patched. Well this afternoon my tire was flat again this time at work in Heath, OH. There wasnt a NTB in Heath so I took it to Tire Discounters where they fixed my tire free of charge. Needless to say Ill be going to Tire Discounter next time I need new tires.

2022-06-03Had an appointment at 2pm got there was told not happening they only had one guy working even though I talked to 3 in shop asking where to park ! Was told to come back tomorrow said I was leaving town needed tires today was 2 and half hour wait said Id wait then was told they had no tires that would fit my Chevy truck even I ordered them when I sit appointment! Was told 3 to 5 days to get them ! Was looking online saying they had all kinds of tires that fit ! Was told NTB online was wrong about appointment time and tires! Left with no sorry for wasting my a half driving! Went to leave was blocked in by 3 guys in in NTB shirts working on an old van in parking lot ! Went to discount tire 2 miles down 33 got tires put on in less then an hour by professionals! Dont waste your time here !

2021-01-17Great service. Sometimes we go in for small issues like tire losing air and they will fix it with no cost to us. They even offer a military discount. Took car in for new tires and rims and we had a great experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful that work there as well.

2022-02-12I have been going to this NTB for years. They have always taken good care of me and my vehicles- and believe me I was there often. They are always friendly and willing to take the time to talk to you. I have gone and will continue to go to this location when I can.

2022-02-04Took family car in for exchange of tires under their warranty, one tire couldnt be saved and told they would order the tire and call when in. I was also promised a discounted price because 4th tire under warranty - they kept the tire, never called me, and had no invoice or record of me being there - tried a few times to go in, told I need manager. Well then management changed and he had no record of them keeping tire so screwed out of tire that was under warranty.Shady!!!

2021-10-30I walked in the door after calling prior. I was to get 4 cooper tires and an oil change for $434 or something; upon entering the door I was met with a fiery little redhead by the name of Amber. Her positivity was infectious and I really felt like she was invested inThe quality of my experience and the quality of my tires. Her and another associate whom I didnt catch his name, I apologize, ended up finding us a deal on MICHELIN tires, as theyre having a promotion with them if you buy 2 you get 2 free. So we went with that option, and added my oil change so we ended up paying $412. To say I was pleasantly surprised or that Their gumption towards customer satisfaction far exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. I recommend them highly, and will inevitably be a repeat customer!!!Amber Morris is a little firecracker 🧨 and she was the embodiment of great customer service!
