This company was recommended to us by a neighbor. They moved a dining room set from one place to another in the same area.They had two movers, one was capable and the other seamed like he was having trouble lifting items and very uncoordinated. They broke the leg of one of the dining room chairs, and promised to send someone to fix it, but never did. They also nicked our staircase wall in two areas moving one item upstairs. I do not recommend them.Update: right after I wrote this review their repair man contacted me and came out and did the repair. He apologized for being late because his schedule was very busy. I still gave them four stars not five because I would have been more satisfied if the move went smoother and without any damages.
Excellent, courteous and professional. The 3 man crew efficiently moved us from a third floor apartment by stairs to our new place. They were careful and safe. Even though we booked a whole day, they were quick enough to save us a few hours and dollars.We discovered the night of our move that one of my wifes rings was missing. Totally our fault because we left it loose in a drawer and the piece was placed upside down in the truck. We called first thing the next day and within a few minutes they called back to tell us they had found the ring. I cant say enough about their care and integrity. Im sure many other companies might have just said sorry for your bad luck.I give them the highest recommendation.
My weekend moving was involved some living/family/bedroom furniture. The two-men crew came as scheduled. Before the moving, we told them to be careful with one leather sofa set. We suggested wrapping first. However, the guys did not wrap and it turned out the sofa was scratched at more that three different spots. The guy took the photos and told me the damage should be compensated and the manager would contact me in a couple of hours. However, nobody contacted me until I called myself in two days. The manger told me the scratches were not caused by the moving and they were not responsible for the damage. That was just a lie - the sofa had very clear fresh scratches! Then the manager tried to satisfy us with minor compensation, which was not acceptable to us. If you are worried about the furniture damage during the moving, be cautious with this company. They are lack of professionalism and not accountable for the damage claim!
Polite, AHEAD of time, moved quickly and efficiently and took great care with our furnishings. We have multiple antiques. All arrived in perfect condition
Ive used this company 3 or 4 times in the last 10 years. The people are always nice. The movers are respectable and careful with our stuff. Very efficient. The actual amount it cost was exactly what the quote was.
Cant speak highly enough of these movers. They dealt with a lot of stuff coming down 4 flights of stairs including a piano. Professional, courteous, efficient, and pleasant are all characteristics they displayed. Id use them again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone needing a moving crew in Cleveland. Top notch work.
I cannot begin to explain how great the entire staff (from owner, to the receptionist to the movers) are. They are so professional and totally careful with all your belongings. These guys went above and beyond for us and made this move as smooth as it could go. Thank you all!
Ive used NorthCoast for several moves. They are really on the ball. Value added is defined as what one is willing to pay for. While NorthCoast isnt the cheapest, I believe they are the best value. I have had virtually no damage over several moves, which speaks to their care as well as concern for the premises they are moving to, and from.
Excellent service from quote to unpacking! Arrived early, had an extra man, did the job quicker than the estimate, saving me close to a third of the cost. Easily accommodated a change in date as well. Very highly recommended!

2022-05-31They did a great job moving our furniture from Rocky River to Avon. They were right on time, estimate was spot on and everything went pretty smoothly. They made a small mistake on the invoice that I did not even notice and sent me a check in the mail a few days later with the refund. Im really happy with their service and integrity and would recommend them to anyone.

2022-06-14Did a lot of research and learned from word of mouth and chose North Coast for a very special move to a somewhat difficult location to move into. From the owner Peter, along with a trusted associate Dean, it was the most thorough quote process, and then to Craig the team leader along with Jacob who with their amazing muscle and team of Anthony, DeMarcus, Deandre and Luke--did one fabulous job. Truly six most capable and above all very nice people who were a pleasure to work with. If the key is in the prep--they get a platinum star as everything arrived in perfect condition. And the guys went over and above to protect the floor and paint and to place things perfectly including putting little felt pads on everything to make sure nothing scratched the floor. THIS COMPANY IS SECOND TO NONE!!!!!!!! Thank you Peter, for going the extra mile to make sure all my worries were unfounded.A perfect moving experience!

2022-04-21My daughter hired this company to handle moving her apartment. They damaged a large glass cabinet which was beyond repair, and told us that they would either try and repair it or compensate us for it. Due to the extent of damage we did not think repairing it was possible. When we began to inquire regrading compensation for the piece 3 weeks after the move, we phoned North coast 8 days in a row and was only able to talk to someone once. By the time I got a hold of someone they said they were still in the process of determining the value. After more attempts to settle this claim I finally heard from the owner who decided that $300 was as much as they were willing to pay for the cabinet. The cabinet is worth 3 times more than that. It took over 30 days to even begin a conversation about the matter as no one would return our call. The experience from a company that is supposed to be in the customer service business was pathetic and I would not recommend anyone to hire them.

2022-05-10Great customer service. Got to meet the owner and the staff was wonderful. Great facility for storage too. Only one problem. Their estimate was low and it ended up costing me DOUBLE for the move AND storage. Asked the owner for an adjustment and he refused to get back to me. Ended up costing me several thousand. Next time Ill get more estimates and make sure theyre in writing!

2020-10-25Phenomenal crew and competitive prices. We originally planned to use them only for large and heavy furniture, but were so pleased how everything was going at the last minute we asked them to move tons of boxes and yard tools. They were happy to help and did a great job. We basically doubled their work, but the total time it took was about the time of the original quote. Speedy and efficient!

2019-11-19John U, Taylor, John B, Al, Mike, and Rob moved our home.They were outstanding. Not only were they careful with our furniture, they were also very careful not to damage fixtures or walls at either house.These guys were constantly moving, pleasant to be around and very efficient.The price was reasonable and ended up below estimate.I strongly recommend North Coast Movers.

2020-08-09My family just used NorthCoast Moving this month for our move. They were very fairly priced and came with strong recommendations from other happy customers. We had not moved for 16 years and between that and a pandemic, it was very stressful. Working with NorthCoast was anything but stressful! They were very professional and were all masked the entire time they were in our old home and our new home. They were very respectful of my family, our property, the house we were moving out of and our new home. They were very sweet with our kids who were sorry to see them leave at the end of the move! They were so efficient and it was amazing watching them work. I have 3 different family and friends who have used them in the last 6 weeks and all of them had similar positive experiences. I would highly recommend them to anybody who is in the market for movers.

Beyond that, they’re kind, gentle and extremely kind to my elderly mother. They’ve made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. The office was great with scheduling too! 2021-07-21I have used NorthCoast twice now and both times have been absolutely wonderful - I cannot say enough good things. They were very careful and fast and moved that awful treadmill of mine - twice. But they were also so much fun. We joked and laughed all day - despite the monsoon. I highly recommend these guys. NOTE: BOOK EARLY!!!

2020-09-20We had 5 men & 2 trucks. One man, the oldest gentleman on the crew went above & beyond while the cable guy was there. Three of the men were very nice & pleasant & helpful. Nothing was damaged. The only thing that brought them down to 4 stars was one man was in a hurry to get done, kept rushing me with the garment boxes while asking me other questions at the other end of the house, stacked heavy boxes in front of kitchen cabinets that me or my 65 year old husband would have had to move if not for the rest of the crew, every time I asked him a question the answer was, I dont know or I just work here. Overall I would definitely use them again.
