Visited the center with my friend for evening prayer during Ramada. Everyone was so nice and polite. I do not pray so I stayed in the hall and watched as the others prayed, everyone who walked by was so pleasant and offered assistance if I needed it which has not happened for me at other mosque. Watching the kids have fun and enjoy themselves was very pleasing for me, all around a great place.
Noor Islamic Cultural Center is one of the major centers of Islam in the entire Ohio. This place is a multipurpose forum of Muslims from where they can reach out to even higher forums for all kinds of religious and non-religious reasons. Noor Center keeps busy throughout the year in conducting various events and inviting internationally reputed scholars of Islam for the education of the community. On Friday, there are three Juma services, two in English and the last one in Arabic. The architecture of the mosque is beautiful, the prayer chamber is spacious, parking lot is huge, and the people who take care of the place are devoted to the cause of Islam, as it appears. This all makes the community of Muslims a vibrant community connected with this place as its ideological platform.
I’ve been praying here for the last 5 years and I’d have to say, the best and most organized masjid I’ve ever been part of. Amazing people!! Especially in the month of Ramadan. Unfortunately, with the COVID19, things are different. I cannot wait for the masjid to open back up
Clean facility and this is the house of god where I feel welcomed and almost like when I go to the gym ..this is my gym for my soul which is actually the more important gym that will benefit me longer always thank God for my eyes ears every breath and may god forgive us all and bless who ever read this review .
Although I dont do my worship in specific places nor follow the religion, Ive visited here on a couple occasions. Once while voting and a few other times for educational curiosity and intrigue, in hopes to see from the perspective of what poorly-broadcasted conservative media portrays as The Other. I wanted to turned The Other into The Familiar and what makes this belief system differ from many others. This building externally and internally is very beautiful and made with such a lovely landscape design to draw in both followers and curious minds. If one were to set foot onto the grounds, the staff as well as regular patrons are very friendly and welcoming with literal open arms, and friendly waves inviting you to visit again someday. Ive certainly been inspired to read up on the Islamic good book should I find affordable means to do so. Perhaps there can be some teachings here that would inspire personal growth within my development as a person.
I’ve been going to this masjid since my teens years. It was pleasant till one Friday recently, I came to the down to get couple of cheese baklava. The lady was taking the orders of the people behind me. I stood there for a good minutes till my husband came looking for me. While he walked towards me, he was watching and she was handing orders to the people behind me. He came, held me, kissed my forehead and he told her, “this is house of God and what you are doing isn’t fair. Give us our order or tell us you’re too busy and we’ll leave” she apologized to HIM and gave us the order. She mumbled عبده as we walked away. I knew that meant for me not my husband whose caucasian. I looked at her then I remembered I came here to worship, so we left. So dear Arabs, it’s 2019. Don’t assume being Arab means one shade, or that you’re superior or that Arabic isn’t a language anyone can learn and that some people know what you mean when you say it. Thank you!
I visited the Noor Islamic Cultural Center during March 2018 in conjunction with a series of interfaith visits to several different religious centers around central Ohio. The building and grounds at the Noor Islamic Cultural Center are quite beautiful; thankfully we had not had to take off our shoes in order to enter the building [which had been true when I had visited a different Islamic center in a different part of town].We had first been served a delicious meal of Middle Eastern food; after our meal had ended, there had been a program, a description of some of the history and traditions of Islam, that had been presented by several different speakers. We had been told, at the beginning of the program, that prayers would be happening, during the program, in the room directly above our meeting room, and that the program would pause during that time because some of the people in the room would be going upstairs to pray.We had also been told that we were welcome to go upstairs to watch the people praying, through a glass window, from the hallway outside of the worship room, if we had wanted to do so.I had not expected that the amplified sounds of the prayers that had going on upstairs would be rebroadcast, extremely loudly, into our meeting room [and I assume throughout the building]. The painfully loud prayers continued for ten minutes or longer.I had been expecting to relax briefly during the prayers [while waiting for the program to continue] but instead had found myself having to close my ears tightly until the prayers had ended to avoid any risk of hearing loss.
I like the centre very much. I will be grateful to the centre s governing body members if they connect me to the matrimonial service in the centre to help my younger sister to find a match to her daughters who are in your masjid. If any mail Id or any link is enough. Mashkoor.

2019-06-09Alhumdallah. Very beautiful masjid. Clean and quiet. The only thing I don’t like it in this masjid is they keeping ask about money and donations. After every salat after every Tarawih after every Friday salat. Wala if we have money we will donate but they don’t understand that. I heard someone motion that he really hate to donate for this Masjid. Because they keep talking about it. However it’s very beautiful Community for kids and young children. They have classes in weekend to teach your kids more about Islam religion and they offer Arabic class.

2022-02-27I am not rating mosque here but I am rating some staff. I went to registered my soon and the lady was very rude. She was on the phone and talking to me at the same time in a manner that is way far from Muslims behaviors. She was also talking behind my back with a different lady in a disrespect way when I asked here she lied on my face. This kind of people shouldnt be working at the house of Allah. You guys need to recruit people that will give an example to our youth. people like her give a bad example of how Muslims threat each others.

2022-08-13My concern in this Masjid is you take off your shoes and enter the masjid on the same floor where everybody walk with their shoes. For me That’s not clear

2021-12-03Open and friendly place. I recommend for anyone to check it out regardless of faith! I am not muslim but the staff were very welcoming and genuinely interested, polite and considerate and happily answered all my questions. Great place of worship & glad to have you in the neighborhood.

2021-11-12Your one-size-fits-all mask policies are anything but Islamic. May Allah forgive you for traumatizing my CHILD with an exemption and kicking him out of what should be a place of worship. You do not own the masjid. It is Allahs and to prevent a person who cannot mask and is not sick from Jummah is utterly despicable not to mention the emotional toll youve caused. Allah has forbidden anyone from preventing people from prayer. How dare you!!!

2021-08-27A nice center with its instinctive design. What’s unique…it has an outdoor amphitheater integrated to the lower level of the building. A welcoming place for prayer and community activities
