Fantastic little park in the heart of Loveland, nice playground, ample picnic tables, fantastic amphitheater, great Little Miami river access, and right on the bike trail. Frequent events in the park, not to mention the short walk to bike rental, Shave ice, Graeters, Hometown, and a bunch of great restaurants !
Nisbet Park is sandwiched between a bike trail and the Little Miami River. So walk or bike the trail, look for fossils down at the river, let your kids play on the playset and run in the large shaded grassy area. Shaved ice, smoothie, candy coffee, sandwich shops close by.
Im not sure how long this park has been around but Ive grown up in Cincinnati & have lived close to Loveland my whole life & have only just recently discovered this park & surrounding sites.....this park is nestled quite comfortably next to the river with the Loveland trail running through it and a rather large sized parking lot. Conveinant bathrooms, Amphitheater map & bulletin board, water pump for humans & dogs, friendly people, permanent manual bike pump with many different tools & attachments for quick fixes for many different types of bikes, tons of picnic tables, lots of close by entertainment, food, drinks, snacks, treats, shops, coffee....etc. I only wish I would have found this part of Loveland sooner but I have definitely found my home away from home......Loveland has got me in my feels. Oh & if you or your kids enjoy playing Pokémon GO......this place is a friggin HUB......Do yourself a favor.....Go visit Loveland, eat the food, walk the trails, enjoy the music,, talk to the people..... enjoy everything it has to offer.
Very nice, very good location, in the middle of down town loveland, so many things to do, such as there is a bridge that you can jump off into the the water, and If you think its not deep enough, Im 59 and I dont even touch the bottom of the creek. also there are amazing bike trails, (concrete trails/off road trails. also there is a rope swing that you can swing off of, even though you have to cross the river, its fun. there is also a tree that you can jump off into water, and since its the little miami river, its always fun to go down the river. if you are worried that you will get hungry, there are lots of place arounf that have food. graters is close, a favor ice is there which has amazing prices. and it is a great place to put up a hammock, also there is an amphitheater, so if you have a party, that is a great place to have it. you can come here with your friends, family, and anyone else that likes the park.
This park is always well kept. The bathrooms are a little iffy, but the playground, grounds, and amphitheater are always in great shape. We love that the river is accessible from the park for creekwalking, theres an incredible bike trail, and of course, its one of the best non-urban spots for playing Pokemon Go!
A wonderful park for biking, walking and skipping rocks at the river. Well kept and free bike repair kit ride at the start. Amazing. Nice playground for the younger kids. And a great shaved ice place right there too! And dont even get me started on the candy store nearby.
Great Local park. This place doesnt get enough credit for the atmosphere, the Creek, the local restaurants and businesses that surround it. Im fortunate to live just a few miles down the trail and frequent this place as a passthrough on most rides, and as a Pokemon Go hotspot as well as Great Fishing
Love the amphitheatre, and the kids will love the play equipment. Very relaxing visit with plenty to eat, from ice cream to drinks and full meals, within walking distance. We always walk down to the Little Miami river and explore a bit while were there. Of course, theres always the bike trail, too. Highly recommend.
Nice park and surrounding area! The loveland bike trail right next to it is always enjoyable to cruise along for hours on end, or just go for a nice walk. Downtown Loveland as a whole is a really enjoyable spot - and I think what makes it is really the community. This park area has a nice feel to it, plenty of areas to sit down, walk around, and a few landmarks and statues as well! With the recent Pokemon Go craze this definitely is a hot spot in the area.
Very cool little park in old Loveland. Close proximity to the river and all the restaurants in the area. Playground for the young ones and picnic tables abound. An amphitheatre is surrounded by old growth River Birch trees with great acoustics. There is a restroom on site and water fountains all of which is open during the warmer months. Definitely check out the little Miami conservancy as well. Parking is free but fills up fast on weekends get there early.
Great facilities and atmosphere of downtown loveland. Feels almost like mini vacation just walking through it. However the childrens area could use a larger playset. Its mostly geared towards toddler to 6 but cant beat the riverside view and the large number of shade trees.
A great park for stopping on the bike trail. Good place for picnicking and has a playground for kids. During the summer they have concerts, art shows, festivals, etc. Since it is located in downtown Loveland, there its usually something always going in there. Also, you can always go down to the river and fish or skip rocks if want.
Its really pretty. It only gets 3 stars because there is almost nowhere to park during most days. Trying to leave is harder than parking due to congestion. The city of Loveland decided to erect awful looking 4 story commercial buildings which ruin the once panoramic view from the top of the hill.
Nothing really spetacular about this place but it a very pleasant area to walk around. The Lebanon bike trail run through this area. Several small shops and eateries. I cant wait to try some of the unique restaurants in the area as well. Wasnt hungry today though, just wanted some fresh air and a little exercise.
Amphitheater and playground at the park and several eating areas for picnics. You can walk down to the Little Miami from the park to play or hunt fossils. There is great a nature center with frequent activities right at the park too! Access to the bike trail and lots of great eateries.
Nisbet Park & Amphitheather is a great place to enjoy a family picnic, a concert on stage, a playground for the kids and, my favorite; throwing rocks into the Little Miami River. This place is always one of my favorite Loveland Parks to visit on my spare time. The park is also located adjacent to the Bike Trail which riders can pedal/ run/ walk miles and miles of road. Nisbet Park is a great place to go to in Loveland and if you havent gone there, go there!
Small park adjacent to downtown loveland and the loveland bike trail. Great spot to chill out, catch weekend festivals, and grab a Hawaiian Ice in the summer. Right on the little Miami River for those who are interested in jumping in the water. Also apparently one of the prime spots for pokemon hunting on pokemongo in all of Cincy.Parking can be very tight on weekends.

2022-06-23My husband and I visited this park for a picnic, it was nice to see how well kept it is and was filled with children playing and a few squirrely friends to boot. There was music playing from the near by grandstand area.

2022-06-02Decent park. Right along the Little Miami bike trail. Plenty of picnic tables, a few benches and a playground for kids. Small amphitheater is of the local variety. Saw restrooms, but didnt use them.Plenty of cool restaurants and bars right next to it/near by. A usually busy area in general.

2019-07-29Lovely park surrounded by great shops, trails, and nature. There always seems to be something going on at the amphitheatre. Ive visited this park on several random days and enjoyed the live performance going on. Its a busy little area there. So many people out walking and riding bikes. Really nice community there. Clean park and fun for everyone.
