We had AMAZING customer service with Kowalski Ford! They never tried to jerk us around on our deal for our new car, they kept the deal very straight forward and honest, and it was the kind of people and place you’d want to do business with. It’s family owned and they take the time to explain things to you and converse with you without you feeling rushed in such a big purchase. We had the pleasure of working with Raegan and Zach, and we will continue to go to this dealership in the future.
A great place to buy a car or get service! But beware, besides cars you will see quite an array of deceased animals! Deer, Moose, coyote and even a squirrel, if you look hard enough, decorate the salesroom. *Service calls always send you home with a freshly washed car!
Stopped in around noon to have the guys look why my engine light was on.Was told most were at lunch and leave my car. They gave me a loaner and went back to work. Got a call and was told it only needed to be reset and to come pick up my car. Everyone at Kowalski - from the sales staff to the mechanics have always been great in servicing my vehicle. I wouldnt go anywhere else....
I have been taking my Fords to Kowalski Ford for close to 20 years (including Lloyd-Manwell). I have always been happy with the quality of their work. and have always felt they were honest with me when it came the repairs. I have never felt like I was taken advantage of, like I have at repair shops in the past.I sold my Ford this week. I dont know what I am buying yet, but if my next car is a Ford, there is no doubt I will have it serviced at Kowalski Ford.
Kowalski Ford Dealership is great service, Never been in a dealership when the owner treats you like you are family! You can sit down with Regan and talk for an hour about Fords! Regan is a hands on owner who will go back in the shop to find out what is going on with your vehicle and return to give you an update. Cant say enough good things about everyone at this dealership.
Excellent service. My salesman, Kevin, took a lot of time with me to ensure I got everything I wanted on my Edge. Everyone at Kowalski is so nice, with great customer service. The dealership is small and feels very “ homey”. No hustle and bustle. Personalized service. I LOVE MY EDGE!!
Great Ford dealer with that extra personal touch! I purchased my latest Ford here. They did not have the Ford I wanted on their lot, Rich went & picked it up for me from another lot. The transaction went so smooth from beginning to end! Rich set up my Ford Pass so I can earn points to use for future services, also spent as much time as I needed to understand my new vehicle.
Great dealership filled with friendly and helpful employees. I went into the dealership today to purchase my edge as our lease was up. I found financing better elsewhere and Bob couldnt have been more helpful. I was in and out in about 15 minutes and he was so helpful. Now I see why this dealer has so many positive reviews. I will certainly be back and I would highly recommend doing business with this dealership
Everyone at the dealership is amazing! They truly listen to you, know their products and they don’t make you feel like a sale. Always enjoy getting a new car from Rich and the service department is wonderful! Rare to say you can trust a car dealership but you can trust Kowalski Ford! Will be back to get a new car again soon!
Outstanding service.Very helpful employees in the service department.In the last couple of months, I have had a couple of emergencies with my car. The service department has been extremely helpful and have worked me right in.I am glad Kowalski is my neighborhood dealership.
Very pleased with the service received from Kowalski Ford. They honored my first free oil change from Ford, and even washed the car which I was not expecting. The entire process from the purchase onward was top notch and I will continue to use Kowalski as my one stop destination.
The experience couldn’t have been better, Regan the owner and the salesman I worked with Kevin we’re super friendly. They were straightforward, knowledgeable, they are small dealership which allows them to give you more attention. They take time to make sure you understand everything. Also they don’t play the games most dealerships do. That back-and-forth with the general manager until you’re ready to pull your hair out. No pressure to buy Other accessories or warranties. It’s a dealership you’ll be glad you Dealt with.
This dealership is not like other dealerships. The front area is cozy with a fire place, taxidermied animal heads on the wall, and a small, friendly feel. The sales people are friendly and the staff is attentive. The service department does a great job and can typically do everything while you wait.
I had a few issues with scheduling. I scheduled online initially and they couldn’t complete the required recall maintenance that day so I rescheduled for the following Saturday. I got a call during the week and they wanted me to bring me in sooner to get it completed which was nice. All in all it was a good experience and they fixed my car up quickly and even washed it for me! I would suggest calling instead of scheduling online.
I purchased an absolutely gorgeous Ford Escape from Kowalski Ford in November. I just had its first oil change over the weekend at Kowalski. Every person Ive worked with along this process has been genuine and has went above and beyond to help every stop along the way!
I absolutely love doing business with this dealership and their maintenance department. I never feel like they are trying to make a quick buck off me, they are honest to the point of NOT making a sale because I truly dont need it. Good, honest people make doing business a pleasure. I will be back time and again and will always recommend.
Scheduled an appointment for an oil change for 7am on their website. I arrive there to be told that no technicians are there until 8am and that hell look into why the system scheduled me at 7am but asks me to come back at 8am and leave the car and MAYBE they can get to it. I went elsewhere and had my oil changed 25 minutes later. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I wont be back. Zero Stars.
Referred to Kowalski Ford by a friend and coworker, great experience and very honest sales staff. Kevin (our salesman)searched the area for the fusion we were looking for and found 1 in less then a day. I highly recommend Kowalski and will buy future fords from them. I am BEYOND disappointed with this place. They didn’t complete work in the time promised, the car came back with the driver side door that was unable to open, and NO ONE would accept responsibility. Extremely poor customer service and extremely rude manager. I would give it negative stars if I could.
The Kowalski Ford Dealership/Family has been a fixture in the Avon/Avon Lake area for quite some time and my family has purchased many vehicles from them. I can say that the Sales Team, Finance Team and the Service & Parts Team treated us greatly and are very knowledgeable about their autos!! My vote for employee of the year is James Fuzz Simecek, who has been the best Service Rep the company has ever had! Jim has always been able to get the cars in for check-ups and any service calls very fast and professional.
Extremely disappointed of my visit here spoke to more than one person and at first they seemed extremely friendly as most people do in sales but when it came to actually talk about numbers and what I was looking for they decided to talk to me like I was a child, this was extremely rude and disrespectful at which point I should have walked away instead I waited over a week for feedback. This was not the car buying experience I was hoping for when dealing with a Ford dealership and after visiting a different dealership it was clear how a customer should be treated and spoken to as buying my Kia was is a painless process.After my time here I will not return to this dealership nor would I recommend anyone I know to visit this dealership.Review was delayed
Will never ever come back to this one again had my edge for 4 days!! And did not touch it Monday and Tuesday I spent 1500$ with them and when I pick up my truck they guy who drove my car out side to be picked up he must have been messing with MY son roof he poped it out of place but good thing my step dad has a shop because theres no winning an argument saying they did it when I had it shut when I dropped it off peeled the sticker off of my key chain said the also filled my tires when they did not as soon as I left my info told me my tire pressure was low will never come back you guys give ford a bad name I really wouldnt give you one damn star
Brought our 2012 Ford Focus into Kowalski Ford. Transmission issues pretty common with this model year and transmission design. Brian made sure that the entire issue was covered under the warranty. After picking the vehicle post repair, a slight chatter or issue with the trans popped up again the next day. Kowalski, without questions replaced the trans module that day in the follow-up. The vehicle is now operating perfectly. Appreciate the resolve shown from Brian, Conner and all involved to get the situation corrected. Cant thank you enough.
Theres no reason I can think of that an oil change would require you to open a side door but they did. I had been told not to open that door with the modifications that have been done but it hadnt occurred to say anything when Im getting an oil change that has absolutely nothing to do with the cargo part of the van. So as soon as I drove out I noticed the door ajar light on and ended up hurting my shoulder and denting the side of the van in order to get the door latched again.
Ordered a part yesterday was supposed to arrive this morning but truck wasnt coming and part wasnt coming in until tomorrow and that wasnt good due to deadline so I was disappointed. Than Jessie from parts called me a short while after and hunted down the part from a different location and got it for me and I called a few places around me and they aint have it. Now thats what I call great service thanks
Service Department is the WORST I have ever had to deal with anywhere. I typically use the Ford service department where I purchased my vehicle for oil changes and service but I had a recall on my vehicle so I had to go to this location. I figured knock out oil change and the recall in one visit. Made an appointment a week prior. When I arrived they looked at me like they had no idea what I was there for. The service that was supposed to take 2 hours took over 6. I gave them my cell phone number to call instated of the phone number that was linked to my account when the vehicle was ready so I can pick it up. When they finally finished just before close they called the home number not my cell number. Luckily someone was there to answer. The person contacting us was very unprofessional and said we needed to come right away to pick up the vehicle because they were closing soon (after we waited all day for them to finish). The icing on the cake was that the car was a total mess when we picked it up and they tried to charge us for the free services. Needless to say we will not be going back here recall serve or not!
Very disappointed in the service. Because they did not have a needed part and I could not leave my car til next day when the part would be available, they charged me additional $100.00 to take apart and insert the part. It is not the customer fault you did not have the part .
Dropped car off at 9:30 am on Friday, followed up at 12:30 and was told I was next car to be looked at. Called again at 5:30pm since hadnt heard anything, only to be told they never had a chance to look at car??? Guess too busy. They offered to have me leave my car until Monday. No Thank You! Wasted a day off work. And btw..bought the car here. Guess that means nothing. Will not recommend, nor go back.
I brought my 2015 Ford Fusion in for its second oil change last week. Both times the staff were very nice, helpful, and professional, even when they were slammed with customers and phone calls.Glad my salesman Kevin & the owner were able to make everything possible. I upgraded from a used 2004 Mercury Sable, and absolutely love the features, size, and style of the Fusion. Highly recommend the car & the dealership :)
Was looking for a specific used car and found one at this dealership online. I called and spoke with Rich in Sales. Came to test drive and decided to go ahead with the purchase and trade in my old car. Without getting into the details, Rich, the Owner Reagan, and a couple of other guys were very fair in the value of my car and the sale price of the used car. Its wasnt free, they have to make money afterall, but it was a low stress, friendly negotiation. Id recommend their sales team to anyone who is condsidering it. Thanks Rich, Love the Sport Trac!
Had a great experience at Kowalski Ford, when I went to pickup my new Ford Flex. They stayed open late to accommodate me and my husband. Salesman Rich Cifranic, who worked tirelessly to help me find the Flex I wanted, and to have it waiting for us in record time, explained and showed me all the new gadgets and helped to set them up. So all I needed to do was get in and drive away. I was very grateful for that, because with all the new technology it would have taken me a while to figure it all out. I never felt so comfortable and knowledgeable on the first day I drove it. Thank you Rich for making it a breeze, to buy a new car. I love my Flex!!!
Buying 2 vehicles from Kowalski FORD was one of the best experiences Ive ever had when it came to buying a new car. Their approach to helping in this process was one of knowledge and no pressure. Walking into the dealership itself was inviting and feeling being in someones home. Theres no running back and forth between your sales person and the manager! Kevin Kennedy handled the entire sales transaction from start to finish, answering all of our question completely, there was no spending 3-4 hours just to buy a car! 2021-08-31In & out the next day after calling about a safety recall that began giving my car some problems. Bought my vehicle at Mike Bass Ford so I called there first & representatives in service dept dont answer the phone there & have a voice-mail greeting that says this voice-mail box is currently full. Unsure of where to turn, I called here & a pleasant voice answered immediately getting me in the very next day, (today) and am already out. Years ago I bought a new car here that lasted 14 good years with very few problems. Next time I need a car this will be the 1st place I look. Much thanks for always being great!👍

2021-10-15I have to say that most every experience at Kowalski Ford is positive and for what Im about to say doesnt reflect on the business, but I feel I need to say something. Ill be curious to see if, in fact, these surveys actually matter to a business or a service.Ive been waiting for a internal engine component for going on 4 months now. I did get notified this week that it had arrived, however it arrived damaged and unusable. The dilemma is do I now have to wait another 4 months for a replacement? Ford Motor Company do you have an answer for me? I do have the advantage that I can still drive my truck, (with check engine light on continuously) but do I run the risk of causing some internal engine damage as a result of your inability to provide critical engine components? Further is this unacceptable delay a result of Kowalski Ford being a small dealership thus they lack the ability to compete with the larger dealerships for parts? Whats your answer FMC?I have realistic knowledge that some parts of the country are experiencing issues regarding products but this situation has gone beyond ridiculous. So FMC I anxiously await your response to me and your plan to resolve this issue.George Seroka

2021-08-17I had an issue with my Lincoln MKZ. Jason in service was fantastic and super helpful! I dropped off the car after hours. It turns out that I got sold a bad battery from someone else. Jason found the issue and called first thing in the morning. I went up there and they didnt Nickel and Dime me. He found the issue free of charge and didnt charge me hourly labor (which in my experience is unheard of). I still have a warranty on the battery, but if I didnt, I wouldve purchased from them! I will now take my car to them for all issues. They have earned my trust and my business!

2021-04-30Kowalski Ford always deal with any issue I may have with my Escape, which aren’t very many, in a timely fashion. I normally just take my car in for oil changes but recently i needed a battery and they got me in the very next day. Only because i found out on a Sunday that my battery had died. i am very pleased with everything this company offers.

2021-06-11Horrible customer service, refused to do a national Ford windshield recall on my truck. But, still wanted my customer pay work of course. Never again. Appears you get better service if you purchase your car or truck from them. If they have what you are looking for. I guess fords warranty isnt good at all ford dealers. Not this one

2020-11-12I took my 2004 Ford F150 with 238,000 miles to Kowalski Ford in Avon Lake Ohio for vibration as highway speeds.The did a thorough job of balancing and rotating my tires, but also quick checked my alignment, brake pad wear, and tire tread depth remaining.Same day service was painless and effortless.Thanks to everyone at the dealership for giving back to me the ride quality I deserve and expect.

2021-04-01What a fantastic vehicle buying experience! I recently bought a hard to find Bronco Sport, and their treatment was 100% above board. Rich made the buying experience a joy, and went above and beyond. What a privilege to have this small family run dealer right here in Avon Lake! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!
