Coach Ed runs an amazing organization here. The classes offered are high quality and set up in a way that they are easy to understand. Whether you are a beginner in muay thai and/or jiu jitsu or an expert with years of experience, every class is both fun and challenging. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn a new discipline, fine tune their skills, or just want to try something different. The coaches and staff are easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Dont take my word for it though, come sign up for a tryout and see if this is the place for you.

Emailed coach Ed about starting the adult program. I let him know it had been years since I had done any grappling and that I was horribly out of shape, to say the least. He responded back promptly and invited me for a week of free classes. I was hooked on day 1. The instruction is top notch, the students are awesome and the environment is great. No egos whatsoever. I ended up signing my daughter up for the junior classes and they are great too. Coach Ed and his Junior Instructors do an awesome job of teaching and mentoring the kids regardless of skill level and personality. It has to be tough managing so many personalities; from adult students, teenagers, children, and parents... but they make it look easy.

If you’re looking to learn to defend yourself, get in shape, or compete: next level alliance is the place to be. Coach Ed is very knowledgeable, professional, and an all around good guy. My health, confidence, and well being are at an all time high because of this martial art and the training we do on a weekly basis. 10/10 would recommend next level alliance to anyone even slightly interested in joining! I make a 40 minute drive everyday after work just to come to this gym, even though there are gyms that are closer to home. I do this because I know the quality of teaching I am receiving from coach Ed. Love this place and my jiu jitsu family!

Next level martial arts is simply the best place to go if you are wanting to better yourself. If you want to get into better shape, more self confidence, ability to protect yourself and the ones you love if you are simply wanting a family of brothers and sisters who will support you on any journey through martial arts this is the place for you. Amazing instructors. Ed, Toni and Jason have so much knowledge it would be a waste to not come in and experience what they have to offer our communities.

I trained at next level for ~2 months before having to move to another state, I have to say out of all 3-4 schools I trained at northeast OH , next level was the best.Coach Ed is detail oriented, knowledgeable and supportive person. his students are technical and respectful and facility is clean and pretty big.I love the variations of warmups they have for bjj classes plus the detail of techniques Ed shows. Coach Ed uses a lot of modern bjj guards/moves in his game, so if you are interested in modern bjj you can definitely learn from him.If you are into self defense bjj, they have many classes during the week as well. It is more of a personal preference, but I enjoy sport jiujitsu in general, so I wish they had more sport jj classesoverall good academy, go there, learn from Ed and have fun rolling!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have three kiddos enrolled - & one of them is the littlest & youngest at the gym. Coach Ed & his two older children are amazing coaches full of grace & patience. We have high expectations when it comes to people working closely with our children & each lesson they have given our children time, attention, positive praise & encouraged them to help build their confidence. Giving our kids the best chance at being predator proof in a cruel world is what Coach Eds gym is about.

Ive wanted to train martial arts for a few years now but couldnt find the right place until Ed opened Next Level in Alliance. It was well worth the wait. Between school sports, and 6 years in the military, Ive never experienced better coaching and mentorship than Ed provides. Everyone there is awesome and helpful in every way. I couldnt imagine training anywhere else!

As a parent of 2 kids who attend the kids BJJ classes, I can’t say enough about this facility. The owner and his family run a great program, and they are are all extremely knowledgeable about jiu jitsu. My kids have trained with Coach Ed for over a year now, and have learned many invaluable skills and techniques. My 10 year old and 6 year old both look forward to going to class each day, and my 3 year old begs me for the day he is old enough to start training as well. Would absolutely recommend to any parent looking to start their children training martial arts!

I’ve been training strictly BJJ under Ed for about five months. The facility offers BJJ for adults/kids, Muay Thai, and weights. I started at the old facility, and the first day I walked in to sign up for my trial I was shaking with anxiety. I think this could be relatable to a lot of people. I had been a fan of MMA for years, and came in with zero experience. My first couple weeks were tough to adjust, but my teammates were very helpful and encouraging. I’ve created good bonds with them and we continue to make each other better every single day. Training here gave me a reason to want to live healthier and to continue learning. Ed has maintained an awesome environment for education. Everyone offers their knowledge and it’s a great group of people to bounce ideas off of. If you’re coming in to try the gym out you will be included and welcomed by everyone on the mat. That’s guaranteed. The mat is large and cleaned with care. Definitely recommended.
